FFM. Mid to late 30's.
Been dating a couple for around four years. When we met they had poly experience but I had not and the relationship progressed slowly because of this. Initially we were friends and they were happy with this. They never pushed anything on me. I eventually became curious and initiated and things kicked off..
The relationship has not been without it's issues and it has been challenging to work through them mostly due to how he communicates.
We have been having arguments non stop for the last few months and recently it has left everyone feeling very drained as a result.
They have both been having a rough time with work and life and I have also had my ups and downs with some unexpected family responsibilities and other life things.
After having had a pretty serious conversation about where we were all at, we concluded that there are some things that everyone needs to work on, even if things don't improve immediately as long as one can see everyone is trying..
Recently, my car went in for some major issues and have been spending a fortune on transport as a result.the three of us don't currently live together. We are at a stage in the relationship where one can expect that all partners can ask or receive some form of reasonable support and I asked one partner if lifting me was on the table,staying over at my plafe or me at theirs to make it easier. I wasn't asking them to actually do it but rather trying to ascertain if it's something that would be available if I did ask. This caused a fight because he kept taking this as a criticism as to why he wasn't doing it as opposed to me wanting to gage what I can or can't ask for as the third in a relationship. They do a lot for me as is but it's still good to ask if unsure..so, this led to a fight and him saying I'm ungrateful for what he already does for me.
The first day I didn't have my car, was the day we had a serious conversation about where we all stood. Because we had been fighting, I hadn't mentioned my car had been booked in for repairs. I showed up in an Uber and they asked me why. I told them about my car's issues and they were adamant that I should have asked them to fetch me or have the conversation at my place. They also both said that it would be ridiculous for them not to offer. I spent the entire day there talking out things and I had intended to get an Uber home but they insisted on lifting me..I did say I didn't want to ask because I didn't want to put them out of their way and they insisted so I accepted. (I don't like inconveniencing people so I seldom ask for help) Since then, they have been collecting me from work once a week at weekends so that we can still have visits.we go to their house,then they drop me back home. I have said thank you for the lifting, I've also said I can catch Ubers to their place if it's an issue to collect me and I've said they should let me know if they want me to contribute any money for gas.they have not once requested gas money so I assumed they didn't want it.i also don't carry cash due to safety so I would need to do a transaction to them.
Then, recently we have had another major fight. Mostly my fault as I brought up some stuff that had been bugging me and it was taken badly and led to a fight where all parties threw around words that can never be taken back and hurt more than anything else.

I normally offer to pay my part of the bill, but I had so much on my mind with my car stressing me out, I don't remember if I did that night or not. Their family didn't offer, I remember noticing that.bit they paid for myself and their family for dinner which is usually what they do when they invite everyone out anyway. But apparently it was an issue that I didn't offer. I responded that I don't always offer but I usually do. So they thought they'd give me the choice to buy it,which I did. Now that's been thrown in my face. I told them that ive always thought it's been sweet that they've made these offers but after having it thrown in my face,it makes me feel like my character is in question, and as though nothing has been given in kindness but rather begrudgingly.
They've recently asked if I wanted to move in with them which would involve some level of sharing finances to help out fairly with rent and other expenses that we would all use. Now I just wonder why they would do that if they had so many issues around me supposedly never paying for anything. Just to note, I don't keep track of spending when it comes to my friends or relationships. I don't ask for gas money when I've been the one predominantly driving to visit them at their home which is far from mine or on long road trips that I've taken them on. I wouldn't accept it if it was offered either because I'm doing it to show them a nice time.
If this fight gets resolved, I don't know how I feel about ever going for lunch with them again or eating food in their home or accepting anything that involves them paying for my portion of it.i am afraid thst it will all be thrown in my face.

There are holes on doors at his family home that he punched and he breaks appliances such as a TV out of frustration. Maybe four times a year on average. He would never intentionally harm someone. His girlfriend and I discussed potentially having kids with him and her concern is the temper and that one day instead of punching the TV,it might be a toddler that runs in front of him at the wrong time.i share this sentiment. During our most recent fight, he told me I was a crazy b**** and should see a therapist. I agree that I should see one, I have some issues which affect how I view certain things. In response to this statement I told him I'll go if he also goes for his anger management issues.he was adamant that wasn't an issue and I decided to explain to him why I thought he does have issues that could affect the relationship. Even though she also said the same thing, she did not stand up for me and confirm she also felt that way. I old her that she lacked integrity by not being honest about that. She is very submissive and he is used to being placed on a pedestal by her. I don't think he likes when I tell him things like this because it undermines his opinion of himself. But when she doesn't stand up to him it makes me seem like I'm crazy.
He has told me to consider the fight and how it is that I think of him. The truth is, accidents happen and he does have a temper. I am willing to see a therapist and have suggested he do the same, then I'd be more inclined to do so myself. he doesn't believe that he has a ange problem and she won't stand up for me and confirm she feels the same way, which doesn't help the situation because it encourages him to beleive these things and never change. He expects me to take accountability in this situation for saying something that he disagrees with that has hurt him tremendously, but at the same time he won't admit where his shortcomings are eveb if he beelives I am wrong, he is still aware thst he loses his temper and breaks things. Now he doesn't want to move in together because of this argument and he literally told me to think about the things I've said and if I feel that way about him then there's no point to move forward.
How do I word my discussion to show diplomacy but also try get him to understand he needs to take some form of accountability, and her to acknowledge that she needs to have a bit more integrity because it's unfair to say something to me but when faced with it, she is unable to say to him what she said to me.
How would I express how I feel now about having had the lifts that were freely offered to me thrown in my face along with the other things they've paid for over the years.

I have a reasonably speedy machine (Dell Alienware), which normally runs just fine. However, sometimes, for no apparent reason, Dolphin and some KDE file operations will slow to a complete crawl. If I'm doing things in the terminal, then there is no slow down.
By slow, I mean it can take several seconds for a new Dolphin window to start up, for a directory to be opened or a small file to be opened in an application such as Kate or Gwenview. 5-10s isn't unusual.
These are local files on a local file system. Though I have a mounted NFS share, unmounting that doesn't seem to make a difference. I don't have unconnected devices referenced by UUID in fstab (that seemed to be a bug that caused a similar symptom).
Things normally start fine after boot, but at some point during the day, everything seems to grind to a halt. It's not a gradual process that gets worse. Since even empty directories can take ages to open, it feels like something is timing out.
I'm running Ubuntu 22.04, so I have KDE Plasma 5.24.7, Dolphin 21.12.3.
Nothing seems to spike in top, and I have plenty of unused memory. Anyone have any ideas about how to diagnose what might be the cause before (possibly) raising a bug?
Something I've just though of is to try strace on Dolphin, which shows a sleep happening when things pause:

Hey! I'm looking for someone to watch TV shows/anime with. I haven't been able to find the person I'm looking for so I decided to make my own post. I'm gonna include some of my favourite shows so you get the idea of my taste and see if anything peaks your interest.
TV shows: the rookie, Lucifer, the big bang theory, manifest, the good place, izombie, the Orville, the queen's gambit.
Anime: twin star exorcists, noragami, food wars, demon slayer, Dr stone, that time I got reincarnated as a slime, overlord, assassination classroom, spy x family, I don't wanna get hurt so I maxed out my defense, your lie in april, solo leveling.
I'm also open to suggestions and watching some new TV shows and anime obviously haha. Other than watching things I also enjoy cooking, baking, singing, music and photography.
My preferred platform is discord and obviously voice chat is a given if we are going to watch things together. I would also like us to build a friendship together as well so write a short introduction of yourself. Please be over 18 and from Europe for timezone reasons.

my left shift in my external keyboard doesn't work, but it works on laptop keyboard. i tried cleaning the keyboard, using a different usb port, using a different connection methods (wired, 2.4 (dongle), bluetooth), restarted the laptop and checked the drivers. everything checks out so idk what's wrong :(

What I don't get is how the fuck eagle vision works, Can they Actually see through walls, Highlight key objects And navigate points of interest. If so how and why is it the amount of isu blood they have

 | I got it for £25 at a charity shop. Serial code indicates it's from 1975. It was in working condition but dirty and gross, and the plastic had yellowed. The tab and margin system were stiff too. I know the stripes are a little cliché, but I wanted to leave the cream paint on the metal plates on the back, since they were in very good condition. The stripes pay tribute to the original plastic, as well as tying the colour scheme together so the back panels don't look too out of place. I'm so pleased with how it turned out, and the old thing has a new life. The keys need a lot of pressure which isn't something I'm particularly fond of so I may end up selling it at some point. But for now it's mine and I love it :) |

She said in call kya hua, dar rahe ho kya. Maine kaha nope, I am checking ETA and planning some different location. She said dekh lo ye Gurgaon hai, I hope you are not new here. I have everything set up, and the iFrame that contains the button to "Add Information" displays on the page, but once i click it, i get a Console Error saying the following:
I dug into the code a bit and the issue seems to occur because the call from window.open in the Stripe connect library returns null. And the error message saying "Popup blocked" happens if the result from that call is null. I know this can be a problem with window.open when not initiated directly by a user, but i don't see anyone else having this problem with Stripe and React.
Here is my code for this.. perhaps I'm doing something subtly wrong, even though I followed the tutorial:

This is a throwaway because this whole situation is so stupid and I don’t want it associated with my normal account.
So my girlfriend eats popcorn by “frogging it” which means she picks up a handful, brings it up to her mouth and sticks out her tongue to quickly pull pieces into her mouth. The first time I saw her do this I was very confused and a little put off, I asked her what she was doing and she just said “I’m frogging it!” I thought it was kinda cute, if a little silly but didn’t think much else of it at the time. I did not realize that she was utterly incapable of eating popcorn in any other way.
I think it’s gross and weird. It seems silly but the sounds and visuals are very childlike to me which is very off putting, especially because when she frogs it she’ll often giggle in a very unnaturally for her) high pitched way if she drops a piece of popcorn or one falls off her tongue while she does it. She already isn’t the most mature person who ever lived and she definitely leans into being pretty “quirky” which I really like about her but can also kinda slip into childishness. I know that watching New Girl was very formative to her so I don’t know if the whole frogging it thing is from that show or whatever.
I’ve asked her to please eat popcorn like a normal person around me but she rolls her eyes and tells me that I don’t have a say in how she eats anything. Which is fair in theory but listening to her mouth smacking for 45+ minutes every time we watch tv or a movie (a couple times a week) is beginning to have an adverse effect on my mental health.

During my PG, we were a group of 4 girls and we used to meet once or twice a week since we had different specialisations and hence, different schedules. There is one particular friend, let’s call her Grace. We used to have a good understanding and relaxed equation. She went through a personal tragedy (loss of a parent) and we as friends, tried our best to support her emotionally and practically (helping her to pack and postpone her exams etc). Once our PG ended, we had to move to a flat and Grace and I decided to pair up to search for a flat since the other two friends had gone back to their hometowns. Earlier, we used to have a decent equation and I would check up on her everyday by going to her room because she had confided that she is unable to sleep due to negative thoughts and we would also go out whenever possible.
She picked up a part time job to earn money and to get her mind off things and once when I visited her room, I got very unwelcoming vibes so I stopped going there until she approached me. I guess it was because she was tired and overwhelmed but she started getting slightly nasty and short for no reason like she would accuse me of zoning out whenever she would talk about her boy problems (essentially which guy should I choose from Bumble, I am so confused) although I would give her advice and help her as much as possible, accuse me of distracting her because of which she messed up her form but later she approached me and told me to sit with her while filling a fresh form because she feels nervous. She would taunt me about my short attention span although she is the type of person who talks only about herself and even if the topic is changed, she will circle back to herself.

My mom did not like her and found her very rude and self- centred and later when she needed a guarantor for the flat and asked my sister, they said that she didn’t make a good impression and this was risky to undertake. She even asked our other flatmate and a Bumble guy and they obviously reduced. I am mentioning this to give an idea of her nature.
Anyway, there came a point that she had the 8-4 shift and even if both of us would be at home, we wouldn’t see each other for days and once in a fortnight we would update each other for like 10-15 minutes. I was also suffering with loneliness during that time. If she needed something, she would only text/call me even if she would be in the next room. She would accuse me of not flushing/cleaning the toilet properly and if I disagreed, she would taunt. She even said once that there is nothing to talk about just ‘No job yet’ since we are both looking for full time work.
What really annoyed me was randomly after two weeks, she came to my room and told me to come to her room and it was because she suspected a rat in her room. She would keep unwashed utensils in her room for days at a stretch and I had feared that this would lead to rats/cockroaches. A week later, my landlord messaged that I should give my key to Grace for now since he was busy. I had no idea so I said okay but didn’t act on it as Grace hadn’t told me anything. After 2-3 days, she called and messaged to ask if I was at home since she had lost her key. When I opened the door, she said that she had thought the other flatmate would be around but he wasn’t. After that also, I barely saw her and the one time I told her that she isn’t around, she told me that I wasn’t there (!). She even went off on a day trip with her close male friend and told only my other flatmate about it.
I know this has already gotten very long but up till this point, I want advice on what really happened. I will make a separate post on Part 2 as well.
In the middle of all this, one of the girls in our group who had gone back to her hometown (let’s call her Mary), she got engaged to her high school sweetheart. She posted a picture of the same on social media. While I was happy for her and left a positive comment, I felt odd that she never mentioned it but I didn’t think much of it. A few days later, Mary texted me and told me to call when I was free. I called her and I found out that she was coming with her parents for her graduation ceremony and had some doubts regarding the accommodation. At the end of our conversation, I told her, ‘I believe that congratulations are in order’. She thanked me and said that she was surprised that she didn’t hear from me. I told her I found it odd to get the news only on social media. She then said that her parents had just gone to the boy’s family to fix the date and the roka got fixed for two days later. Everything happened too fast and she randomly texted all the people she could remember and she was also just processing everything. We talked a bit more and she said that it’s been a long time and we should meet when she comes.
When she arrived, I saw her social media stories of the graduation and her parents at tourist attractions. I thought she would be busy showing her parents around and she would probably text for a meet up once she is free. Next day, I noticed that Grace had gone out in the evening and after some time, I saw that Mary put up a story with her in a mall. I felt weird but I thought that maybe it was impromptu or because Grace has hectic working hours. The next few days, Mary was roaming around in nearby cities and one day, I was in a party and having a good time. I saw Grace’s story and she was at a restaurant with Mary. Now I was having an amazing time with my new partner and his friends so I had no FOMO but I was drunk and I felt pissed at these ‘friends’. I thought that if they deliberately exclude me, why pretend that everything is hunky dory? I then deleted their numbers and removed them from social media. I told my partner everything, who then asked if I was okay and if I feel any regrets about doing all this. I said no and that rather than putting up this pretence of being ‘friends’, let’s be real.
The next few days, as usual, I would encounter Grace only in the kitchen where there would be pin-drop silence and not even a greeting. She knew that I was going back home for good in a few days and asked in a dead voice whether I found a replacement for my flat and the date of my flight. I answered coldly and greeted her from my side only when I felt like it. The day I left for the airport, she wasn’t there when I booked the cab and it has been 15 days since I came back. She didn’t even message me a goodbye.
I want your opinion on whether I am wrong or overreacting and why this must’ve happened- a friendship gone sour all of a sudden.

So I am going to be playing a grave cleric in our upcoming campaign. He's going to be played as one who is neutral in the realm of death so no matter which side one fought on in battle he will respect the dead all the same... I'm looking for something simple but effective that he can say at the end some key encounters basically praying for the deceased enemies and their journey from this world to the next... Maybe something that can be a staple in those situations so I'm not trying to come up with something new for every encounter.
