Tools, Prompts, Apps, How To Learn Ethical Hacking in Iphone? Without Jailbreak?

Hi. Last year I had multiple credit card fraudulent charges and around a similar time had someone trying to impersonate me with my phone and bank. I changed passwords to everything, added security, closed accounts, basically anything they’d let me do. Things were quiet until this week when I’ve had fraud on a debit and credit card (same bank), attempted Amazon account hacking, and now fraud on another credit card (different bank). All cards have been locked and then closed, I locked all my other cards, reported fraud with banks etc. changed Amazon pw and added 2 factor. But I can’t figure out how this is occurring or why I’m being targeted and it’s affecting my mental health (please be kind I was also the victim of a hit and run this week thankfully only my car is damaged but it’s been a bad week). Also one of the cards I had fraud on has never been activated or left the house.
Things I already do: Have a unique username and hard to guess password with each bank and 2 factor authentication set up. I NEVER use public WiFi and I’ve definitely never bought anything on it After the last incident I factory reset my iPhone and iPad out of sheer paranoia I use a VPN on my computer and cellular data or home private WiFi on my phone I literally don’t click links in emails When I call banking institutions I seriously spend 10 minutes or more going over the phone number on my card and researching it and making sure I didn’t type it in wrong.
What am I doing wrong??? How is this happening? I logically know scamming and theft isn’t person but I’m feeling extremely uneasy and after this last bout and the hit and run I’m literally sick to my stomach and can’t eat. I don’t know what to do. Should I throw away all my electronics and get all new accounts, all new emails, and all new phone numbers? I’m desperate to know how this is still occurring

EDIT: I've decided to stick with 1Password. I forgot that, if I switched, I wouldn't know where to consistently and securely store my other info such as Credit Card info, Software Licenses, documents, backup 2FA keys, etc. Yeah, I can do it in Notes with a password. But I don't want that. Because I also like the autofill it offers and it will just become an inconsistent mess. And I don't want my Passkeys to be stored on the device, I prefer them to be stored in the password manager. With Apple iCloud Password, it will be stored in Keychain, and for Windows (the iCloud app), it won't even be prompted because it needs biometrics to store. So in other words, to store a passkey you need an Apple device. Also, I really don't want to use a Chromium based browser. I like Firefox. The extension for iCloud Password is not for Firefox. I think because Apple wants to be the only alternative browser out there currently there is: Chromium, Checko and Webkit (Apple). By eliminating Gecko they'd be the only alternative to Chromium. This means that I don't think that they will ever even bother to make an official autofill extension for Firefox, the browser I use. Sometimes 1Password sucks, but the traitoff is worth it, for now.
Also, in my replies to all of you, I often used the term "Master Password", I actually meant "Secret Key" with that. I got them mixed up, sorry!

I have a yearly subscription for 1Password, and have been using it every day for over a year now. Just to try things out thoroughly. My subscription is still active.
And a few days ago, a question appeared sporadically in my head when I was scrolling through my iOS settings.
"What is iCloud Passwords and Keychain Access".
After some research, 1Password and iCloud Passwords are practically the same thing: Secure Password Managers.
So then another question appeared:
"Why am I paying for 1Password again?" - Since iCloud Passwords is free and premium integrated software for Apple Devices. Unlike 1Password.
Findings from my research:
P.S.: I did not do research for Android, Linux and other stuff, since I'm not interested in those things. I am interested in Windows and Mozilla Firefox though. I use an iPhone and hybrid user of Windows and macOS.

• iCloud Passwords is available as an official add-on for Chromium based browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, etc. But NOT for Mozilla Firefox. That means you can use auto-fill. I tested it (the iCloud Password extension), it works very well. However, you cannot use the `CMD + \` command to auto-fill your passwords, meaning that sometimes, you'd have to drag your cursor over the auto-fill suggestion and click it. Unlike 1Password. And a bunch of other shortcuts that I don't use.
• iCloud Passwords is available for Windows by downloading iCloud for Windows. But NOT Keychain Access. Though, you don't really need Keychain Access anyway.
• It is NOT possible to save Passkeys on Windows with iCloud Passwords. You need an Apple Device for biometrics (Face ID). On Windows, Windows Hello will be prompted and the Passkey will be stored on the device rather than iCloud Passwords, unlike 1Password. Unless it's done with an Apple Device, then it will be stored in iCloud Passwords.
• iCloud Passwords doesn't have a Master Password, meaning that "if" iCloud ever got hacked, my passwords could potentially get exposed to hackers? With 1Password, the passwords are still encrypted even if stolen, unless they have access to the combination of my Username, Password and Master Password. But honestly, the likelihood of Apple getting hacked is small to zero. Is this a naive statement?
• iCloud Passwords works way more seamlessly on Apple Devices. An example: Discord wants to verify my identity by Passkey, and on macOS, it won't prompt 1Password but rather a QR-code to scan it via the OS itself. Meaning that I have to get out my phone, open the camera app, scan the code and verify using 1Password. Which is an annoying experience.
• iCloud Passwords only has a "Notes" section for each password, 1Password has way more organizing functionality.

Did I miss something?
Regarding all other options that 1Password has to offer such as 1GB storage, Archives, Vaults (Profiles), Watch Tower, Categories, Tags, Recently Deleted, Favorites, Software Licenses, SSH-keys, SSH-agent, etc. I don't really care about these things. Though: They are useful to have, I use them but they're not really essential to me.
Now, what makes YOU use 1Password over iCloud Passwords & Keychain Access?
Obviously, this does not apply to people who don't use Apple products. Technically, you can use it even if you don't have Apple Products, as long as you have an Apple ID. But, I don't think non-Apple users would.

Edit: What others wrote, the gist of it (and my opinion below it for other readers). This is useful for readers who are wondering the same thing as me, for in the future and want to know what applies to them. Everyone has their own preferences and requirements:

• Travel Mode: I think this is a mostly useless feature. If you don't want customs to check your phone and passwords, then don't have 1Password installed when you cross borders. There is no other way. As long as you have the 1Password app installed they can ask you about Travel Mode if they are aware of it. And they will.
• Storing Unrelated Stuff: Saving Credentials, Software Licenses, etc. Valid point. I don't know how to manage this yet if I would switch.
• Organizing: Things like Tags, Categories, Vaults, etc. Fair point. This is about a preference on how you want to manage things. I am just looking for a secure password manager that seamlessly integrates. I personally don't care about these things. For vaults you can just make password groups in iCloud Passwords which is the same thing. Except vaults are completely isolated and iCloud Passwords are literally groups, as the name suggests. If a vault is deleted all passwords in it are also deleted, with iCloud Passwords, they are not.
• Sharing Logins: This can also be done with iCloud Password.
• Platform/app compatibility. Fair point. iCloud Password is not available for each platform. Like Linux, or Firefox.
• Yappers: Some nonsense comments, paranoid people and people who don't know what they're talking about. People who've never touched an Apple product. Don't take them too seriously.
• Master Password: Agreed, it's a nice layer of security. Though Apple also has it's own design to security. In my eyes, they're both solid options. Having no master password does not necessarily mean worse security. There's not more to it.
• Dedicated App: Fair point. Though, personally, I don't think a password manager should be designed in such a way that it needs an app. You only need your logins when you try to sign in. I don't want to have to open an app to access my passwords every time. It's just not necessary. Probably hence why Apple doesn't have it. Though, if you want one you can add an Apple Shortcut: https://rmondello.com/passwords-shortcut/, this can be useful in cases where you need to type over your password from an Apple Device over to a Linux PC or something. That way you don't have to go all the way to Settings. Also this made me realize something else, 1Password is much more than just a Password Manager. It can do more than just that. That's probably why it has a dedicated app like that. iCloud Password is literally just as what it was designed for, managing passwords. It depends on what you are looking for.
• Password Length Adjustments: Fair point. Though, why would I as a user care. I want a secure and practical password for readability. Let Apple decide what's best. 1Password also has this feature called "Smart Password". With 1Password you can use a slider to increase the length of your password, with Apple you'd have to manually adjust the length for your use case. 99% of the time I'd use the Smart Password feature anyway.
• Service: They have active customer support. Although Apple does too.

Two nights ago, I was looking through my password manager (I use 1Password) trying to locate a site that my son added recently (I couldn't remember the name at the time). I noticed an entry for a dating site (ashleymadison of all places) which I didn't add, nor did any of my family. They have their own phones, and, trust me, no one is going to ashleymadison. The entry had a user name, password, a local zip code, and profile codes (attached woman seeking man) and a couple of other things saved. It had been added about 10 days earlier. The credentials didn't work when I tried to access the site.
I searched my iphone's safari history (I'm on an 12 Pro), and, there was a google search and two site-related page locations saved on the same day for ashleymadison. They were the last three entries for the day. I was on the latest IOS (have since updated to 17.5).
I can't figure out how someone did this. I had the phone in my physical possession. Could it be someone hacking a security vulnerability and gaining access to my phone? Zero day... blah, blah blah? Why also, would a presumably sophisticated hacker leave a search history behind and an entry in my password manager? My 1Password uses face match to open. Could it be an attempt to get me to freak out, change my 1Password pw, and then need to manually enter it into my phone and then have a possibly installed keylogger nab it? I just can't figure this out. Am I a schizophrenic and have another personality that went to ashleymadison and added it to my password manager?
Went to the Apple Store today, and the tech was dismissive of this idea, thinking I must have inadvertently clicked a popup or something and this triggered the safari activity and then I accidentally got credentials for this site entered into my 1Password. This all to drive traffic. But, this doesn't seem quite right to me. Someone was on my phone's Safari, googled the site, then went to the site, then registered on the site. Then 1Password saved the registration. 1Password shows a creation date/time and a modification of it a minute later.
I asked my AI their thoughts:

The fact that the Safari history shows a specific search for "AshleyMadison" followed by visits to multiple pages on the site, including what appears to be the registration page, does not align with typical bot or popup behavior. Bots and popups are more likely to result in a single, often random, page visit rather than a sequence mimicking a user's actions.
Moreover, the 1Password entry creation and subsequent modification a minute later strongly suggests intentional human interaction. As you mentioned, adding an entry to 1Password requires explicit user confirmation on your device. A popup or bot would not be able to automatically save credentials to your password manager without your involvement.
Regarding your question about keyloggers on iPhones - while iOS is generally considered more secure than other mobile operating systems due to Apple's strict app vetting process and sandboxing techniques, no system is completely immune to all threats. Technically, it is possible for iPhones to be infected with malware, including keyloggers, particularly if the device is jailbroken or if the user is tricked into installing a malicious configuration profile.
That being said, iPhone keylogger infections are relatively rare compared to Android or desktop platforms. Most iPhone malware requires the device to be compromised through physical access, social engineering, or by exploiting very specific, often zero-day, vulnerabilities.
Given the concerning pattern of activity you've described, I recommend the following steps:

1. Seek a second opinion from another Apple Store or an independent iOS security expert. Request a thorough diagnostic check of your iPhone for any signs of malware or unauthorized modifications.
   
2. If you haven't already, perform a full factory reset of your iPhone and restore it from a backup dated before the suspicious activity began. This will help eliminate any potential malware that might be present.
   
3. After the reset, change your 1Password master password once again from a trusted device, and enable two-factor authentication if you haven't already done so.
   
4. Stay vigilant for any other unusual behavior on your device or in your online accounts. Document everything and don't hesitate to escalate to Apple or relevant authorities if the situation persists or worsens.
   

Remember, your instincts and close observations are valuable in detecting potential security breaches. I (26M) caught my girlfriend (23F) in a web-of-lies.

Slowly - I let my guard down, as she was with me during very hard moments in my life, where she could have easily left. As I let my guard down - I started adoring her and the thought of other girls started to dissappear.
She was extremely sweet, innocent and loving. No matter what I did - she was always there for me to support me and was always on my side.
I started focusing more on work, we were seeing each other everyday and everything was flourishing, but I never stopped being envious when she came with me at a disco/bar with friends or where there were other males.
I always felt as she had an eye out for some of them and always felt like I didn't satisfy her completely, as she had previously made remarks about our sexual encounters, which were above regular.
I slowly started to trust her more, as she continiously gained my trust by her action. Meanwhile I was 100% focused on my businesses and success.
She was working in a kid's playground and selling cakes. I was always there and supporting her.
As my success progressed - we started to go out on world trips on the most beautiful places and fell deeply in love (or so I thought)
4 years had passed by. She was still good an innocent (or so I thought).
On the 4th year - I made a project that made me life-changing money. I took her in Dubai with my whole family and spent a fortune to please them. Unfortunately - she was not happy there, I felt like she didn't support me at that moment. She didn't care what I did, she didn't care about my success. She tells me 'This is your success, not mine' 'This is your money, not mine' I told her I want to buy a house for us and she said 'This will be your house'
I then fell into an emotional pit, because everything I do is to support my family and create one wit her.
I got extremely mad, this feeling didn't fade away. I wanted to end it with her, because she didn't acknowledge anything.
The summer was approaching, we got into a fight over something (I Think I caught her again) - We separated for a month, she started crying and was working the whole month. - I went on a vacation with friends, where I cheated on her (Only kissing) and started approaching other girls. But while doing all this - My girlfriend never left my mind, I was extremely sad that I ended it with her.
I opened up her Instagram Account and saw on her story how she is on vacation with two good girls from her work and one baby (She was lonely by the looks of it and extremely sad)
I got back from the vacation and started working things out with her, I took her on a vaction, we had a bonding there, but something didn't feel right... She seemed sad.
I started gambling on crypto futures... I lost 20% of my networth... I got extremely mad.
We went back in our country and then I took her on another trip. I bought her everything she wanted, I took her everywhere she wanted, I did everything to please her. My focus at that time was entirely on her.
She wanted to go in the casino - we went. I lost money, but gave her, since she wanted to stack an amount for a nose operation.
(Not because the nose was broken or something, but because she wanted to look better)
Business started getting bad, my income vanished.....
I started trading more in order to get back to my previous amounts...
I lost it almost all.. I had 1 reserve fund which was locked and I waited a couple of months to take the funds out. She was there with me even when I lost.
She finished her operation.
I got the reserve fund. I started trading, I made half the amount back. She wanted me to buy her a car - I did. I bought a land as well, on which I wanted to start building our house.
After all that - I lost all my funds again...
She had been constantly in a fight with her parents and wanted to move out.
I had one small income left - with all the funds I had, I rented an apartment for 6 months.
During those 6 months - I focused on working, but was losing due to my gambling habbit.
She got a new job. She started going out with friends. Sexual intercourse decreased by a lot.
I told her that I don't like her going out till 6 AM in the morning. This just isn't right with me, so I got suspicious.
I hacked her laptop... she saw a notification and rushed to the house... I was able to see a lot of things, but it appears - she was deleting evidence, so I asked her to give her phone. - She gave it to me.
Unfortunately - I knew how to see deleted messages on an Iphone. I saw only one message, the content was:
'Don't message me anywhere again.'
I got filled with rage and we had a fight. She was fighting with me to get her phone back. I gave it and told her I want to end it.
As he was a famous greek singer - I was able to analyze when he had concerts and saw that on those dates - she had been visitng those concerts...
3 Days later - we talked and worked it out.... I was madly in love with her at this point. She told me that she arranges stages for him. (It's related to her new job)
My gambling habits were in full force. I lost a lot of money and couldn't afford a rent of a high-cost, so I told her - Let's move out to my mother's place and in the next 1 year I will make sure that I succeed again. (My mother isn't living inside the house, but my brother is)
She agreed roughly. So we moved and I started working, but unfortunately - The money I felt I was making was not enough, not nearly enough to buy an aparatament or build our house. She was acting kind, innocent.
I went out on a birthday party and my friend created a circumstance, where I would sleep with a girl next to me. I knew she really liked me and hooked up. We were going to have intercourse, but as I did anything - my girlfriend was on my mind and I couldn't bring myself to do anything other than kisses... I just couldn't.
She started going out with friends again. She was going nightclubbing with them, but assurred me - she was doing it for her own fun.
She was meanwhile stacking money to get a boob-job done. - She did it, made her boobs bigger. She assurred me that she was doing it for her own fun.
6 months have passed. - I stopped gambling, but she told me that she doesn't like my house, doesn't like that I'm living with my brother and she doesn't see a future with me.
She told me she would leave and go in her cousin's apartament, but he doesn't want me there.
I told her that I want to break up with her, because she doesn't want to be with me at my lowest point. I told her that she probably wants to leave the house to go out nightclubbing and find someone better than me. She felt offended (Or so It seemed), but I think that was the truth. She told me that she wants to have kids with me, she loves me, etc.
The next day: She goes out of city without telling me anything about her location. At night: she goes in a nightclub with her friends + other males.
I ask her in 2 AM - 'Where are you right now'? She comes in and out of 'Online' status. and at 4 AM I notice a follower increase on her Instagram, she follows him back - I send her a video and ask who the f is that? She responds 'What do you want', 'This is an old friend', 'Stop being envious'
I get extremely angry and stop responding. The next day I check the live photos of the nightclub and pray to god to give me a sign that I'm not delusional and exactly the next photo - She is on the same table, with the same guy, with her friends and other males. She told me she was sleeping.
1 Day passes - she starts messaging me and sending me photos with the quote 'Let's promise we will never leave each other and fix everything when things go wrong.' 2 Day passes - she starts messaging me, so I show her that I don't want to talk with her. 3 Day passes - no one messages. 4th day she messages me: "Are we breaking up?" and I told her "Do you think I want to be with someone, who constantly lies to me, goes out nightclubbing and adds some r*tards in Instagram?" She told me - "First of all - I'm not lying about anyhing" Then I ask her - "Why have you added this person in 4 AM in the morning"? She replies: "I have had him for some time now, he is an old friend" I told her that I monitor her followers and know if he is old or new" I told her that she looks like trash in my eyes at this point and she got angry She told me she isn't obligated to tell me anything and she hasn't added him in 4 AM, she will not be repeating her self.
I ask her: - Can you tell me where were you at that time (The night that this happened) ? She tells me: - Like every night - at home. I sent her a photo of the live nightclub photo where she is with him, her friends and other male friends. I tell her 'I hope this is gives you an answer for everything' 'My girlfriend died a long time ago' She starts sending laughing emojis and says: "It's good, right?" "You killed her more likely and made her what she is today" I tell her "It's possible" She responds "As you can see - he is with his girlfriend, DON'T THINK WRONG THINGS OF ME" I told her: "Don't explain yourself" "This was my last question." She is now telling: "This is a driver of... and some time ago my friend hooked up with him, this is from where I added him, I haven't added him now" I told her: "I don't think anything of you." She responds "The last two years you have not thought of me anyway" WHICH IS NOT TRUE. I tell her "I wish you all the best, I hope you find what you are looking for" She responds "Me too, be happy" I respond "I have only one question left" "When did my girl die?" She reponds "You can always contact me if you need any help" I respond: "Thank you, but I don't think of searching for contacting you anymore" She asks: "Which is your girl?" I respond "The good girl that loved me and was always with me or was this just a product of my imagination? Be honest" She said: "Whatever you feel like" I respond "Okay, good night" Then I forward the message "You can always contact me for help" and I say: "I really loved you and will miss you" She reponds: "I will never stop loving you. There is no way to stop loving a person with which you have been in a releationship for 6 years" "Good night, I will not upset myself anymore" I ask her "Why would you do this to me?" She ask "What did I do to you?" I told her "It's pointless to say, I have a lot more information that on the photo" She says "We were in this town for a doctor checkup, after that we went to a nightclub and accidentially met them (The person and his male friends)" I ask her "Will you stop with the lying?" She says "I'm telling you" I respond "Good night"
Now my question is:
I'm a sucker for her love. Maybe I'm just in love with the old her. I have never loved any girl as much as I love her. I feel absolutely terrible. Maybe part of this was my fault. Maybe it was my fault that she became like this..
What do I do from here? I don't think I will ever love a person this way.. I wanted her to carry my children and raise a family with her.

Hello! Our family will be in Bali for three weeks in June and July. There is a lot of conflicting information out there about cell phones in Bali, SIM cards, import duties etc etc…I wanted to start a post to get everything in one place.

1. If you have an ATT service with international plan, can you just use your Iphone while in Bali or do you have to get the SIM?
2. There’s a lot about getting a SIM card for your phone at the airport. Do you just buy the SIM card or do you have to buy a plan to go along with the SIM card?
3. If you have a new phone that doesn’t use SIM cards, there are posts about getting e-SIM cards, which sound more like apps. How does this work? Is it like a paid phone app that you call from on your phone?
4. Which eSIM app do you recommend?
5. I worry a little about downloading non-US apps and getting tracked or hacked. Should I be worried?
6. I’ve seen posts about import duties on tourists phones. How does that work…do we need to be worried if we are staying less than 30 days?

This same individual has bragged about how they have parental control apps in their children's phones as well. They Said they can see everything on their phones even read what's app messages. Can geek squad help me if that same thing is happening to my phone?

So since I began asking about my share of some property that my mom would have willed to me and would have wanted me to have, my family got real weird. My sister set me up a couple times and even employed a fwb I was really into to try and commit a very traceable crime. I found out about that stuff and realized my sister was on some insane shit God knows why but I knew that for some reason she wants me in jail or committed. My phone's got hacked because I had had the fwb help me set them up(I'm a very trusting person). My sister uses iphones with the rest of the family to intercept texts and God knows what else. So just this month it came to me and I realized that she wants me out of the picture because she doesn't want me getting any of the money from the property sale. This shits dark. I don't know how ive gotten by being gaslit and manipulated by my whole family. I only shared half the story of shit they tried on me. Rn I'm kinda at my wits end on how to cope. My farher claimed he will give me a hundred g a week from now, but he refuses to provide any substantial proof that that will go down. I'm sick over it

[All iPhone users] In the last two days, my Dad's contact in both my brother and sisters phones has changed to a completely different name that we have no idea who it is. Additionally my brother got notified that his Facebook was hacked which could be unrelated but happened at the same time. How is this possible for thr contact name to change? Is this suspicious?
Extra context why I am a bit concerned is that over the last 18 months my Dad has been experiencing non-stop tech issues we have just learned about.
These have ranged from apparently having his identify taken over, weird text messages being sent apparently without him sending them to us and others, call diversions on his phone that he hadn't set up.
To some extent we were under the impression it was his inability to use tech and some underlying mental health issues relating to paranoia but now wondering if there is an element of truth here. I don't want to tell him about the name change until I understand a bit more.

I just recently learned a cool tech hack that lets you use a QR code to copy a VPN setup. It's pretty cool, even though it seems technical, and it could save me a lot of time, especially when I want to share my VPN settings with my new phone or friends without having to set them up myself. I found a VPN service that makes a QR code for setting up the VPN. My iPhone just scanned the QR code, and my VPN was copied right away. It was quick and easy. Has anyone tried copying a VPN using a QR code? It changes how I keep my gadgets safe and help people who don't know much about technology.

so i'm very very paranoid about getting a virus or being hacked on my iphone. ik people say being hacked on iphone is uncommon but i'm still paranoid. i haven't really done anything to be hacked it's just a fear i have that i can't get to go away so i'm just wondering if there's a way to check if my iphones been hacked? i have avg anti virus becuase it's the only free anti virus for my phone but i don't know if that really works. if pantone could help me or tell me how to find out if i'm hacked that would be great! i think i'm being hacked or have a virus since my phones suddenly super laggy

Hi everyone. I just had an odd bug happen. I’m going to falsify some details for anonymity. Wondering if anyone has an explanation for this.
For context, I share my iPhones location with my sisters. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max.
I was just visiting Houston TX for the very first time. My location services were on and working well.
I boarded my flight to head to Las Vegas. I have a layover before heading home to San Jose. I flew with southwest. On the plane, I put my phone in airplane mode, connected my AirPods via Bluetooth, and connected to the inflight WiFi southwest provides for watching free movies.
When I landed, I took my phone out of airplane mode. A text that I wasn’t able to see on the plane ended up coming through. It was one of my sisters. She asked why my location was listed as Chicago (my childhood hometown - born and raised. My parents still live there and I’m on their phone plan).
My immediate concern was that someone hacked my Apple ID and was able to login to my account on a device. I contacted Apple support, and they didn’t seem to know anything. They gave me 2 links to check the devices listed under my account. There were some old devices I no longer use (marked as offline and thus not providing location data). Ultimately, there were no devices listed as being in Chicago.
Here are my theories: 1) there’s a bug and Apple is not catching all the devices linked to my Apple ID. Concerning because if someone hacked my account, it’s going unnoticed and under the radar.
2) probably more plausible. When on the in flight WiFi, my location could have been spoofed? But in airplane mode, shouldn’t the location services just be turned off? How could my location completely change like that?
Also, I’ve had numerous friends fly before. When they fly from Airport A to B, their location stays airport A until they arrive at B and turn on their cell service again. Why didn’t the same happen to me? My location should’ve stayed Houston until I got to Vegas.
Has this happened to anyone, or are there any semi experts who might be able to explain this?

Getting very sick of my devices always talking about a new iPad added to my iMessage or iCloud or whatever when it is the same old iPad I've had for years but got updated or accessed for first time in awhile. Happens so often that IF someone did hack into my account, I wouldn't notice since I would assume it was talking about one of my iPads that is already on my account.
I currently use (not always/everyday/every week/ every month) an Intel Mac mini, M2 MBA, 9.7 iPad Pro, iPad mini 2, and iPad mini 6. Oh, also my iPhone 12 PM. How does an update make a device a whole new device suddenly? Has gotten very tiring and I would think Apple could adjust it but I'm sure Apple has reasons. Not saying it is broke - just not how I would have such happen.
Note: why three iPads? The 9.7 iPad Pro has 512GB storage and is bigger than my minis so it has uses. My mini2 is on an old OS version and can play my old 32bit games that I occasionally still enjoy playing. Grabbed the mini6 since it was a decent $ deal at a pawn shop and my 9.7 Pro stopped receiving updates. Few days ago I opened the 9.7 Pro for first time in a few months and now everything is warning me of a new iPad. It isn't new nor is it new to me, I've had it for years. Apple should know it isn't new to me or my account or my iMessage so why are they bothering me?

i dont know anything suspicious about my phone, other than… this guy was getting pretty upset about me and we started arguing, internet beef on instagram. then 10 minutes later me and my girl have been on a call and it hung up, and i went to call her again, but it wasn’t working and she called me and it wasn’t working so when i called her again there was a automated voice recording of t-mobile which is my phone service and i have never ever gotten that. so can a hacker mess with phone calls? and how skilled does a hacker actually have to be to hack an iphone? i have no idea. just seems like a coincidence my phone is bugging out as soon as me and that dude was arguing and it was very very heated.

I never post anything on Reddit and I don't even know if this is the right community for this but I'm in desperate need of help.
My boyfriend's phone was stolen Tuesday night. As soon as we realized it was probably gone for good, he went on his computer (not Apple) and tried to sign into Find my iPhone to put the phone on lost mode or try to track its location. He got the password wrong too many times and it put his phone in Account Recovery. At that point, there was nothing we could do to track/erase the phone because he has no other Apple devices and he couldn't log into his Apple ID. So we waited 24 hours like it said to reset his password. After the 24 hours, it said he would have to wait 3 days. Very frustrating but at the very least, he got T-Mobile to basically "stop" the phone so that it can no longer connect to the internet or something, not entirely sure what they did.
My boyfriend's replacement phone arrived yesterday and he's been using it without the Apple ID because it was still in account recovery. He couldn't download any apps without being signed into an Apple ID. We were just gonna wait 10 hours for the account to be "ready for recovery" but long story short - I suddenly became sure of what his password was. He tried signing into his Apple ID on his new phone and voila! It worked. But there was bad news. He didn't have iCloud backups turned on, so he can't get any of his data from his old phone transferred to his new one. He also didn't have Find my iPhone turned on, so no way to track the stolen phone or put it in lost mode.
But it gets worse. My boyfriend installed Instagram and was able to go into settings to view his recent logins. And surely enough, there was a login from Wednesday at a location one hour away from our city. So this essentially means that not only was his password-protected phone stolen: it was hacked into as well. This is a horrifying situation for both of us as there were a lot of private photos on the phone that we can never get back and are now in the hands of a stranger.
I'm at a loss in this situation and I don't know what to do from here. Because Find my iPhone is turned off - either it was never turned on or the hacker disabled it - there's no way to erase the old phone, right? Or is there? Would Apple be able to delete my boyfriend's Apple ID and would that kick the hacker out of the phone and prevent him from accessing his personal data? Or are we completely screwed?
If anyone has any advice for how to handle this situation, I would greatly appreciate it.

How is this happening on my iPhone? (Activity being monitored)
So I left a company months ago, and I’ve gotten hints that my devices were compromised to see if I have any proofs of everything that took place during my employment.
However, for months on my personal iPhone, I’m seeing the creepiest recent searches on iPhone searches - “HR” among one of them. On my notes app, the creepiest notes which are very specific to a work situation. Such as, “breathes heavy at times”
Also, my instagram/reddit activity seem to be tracked. Whenever I post about this topic, I get messages or requests from fake accounts using the language from my workplace instances, that only I can understand.
I created a new instagram account to stalk a suspect who claims to be a hacker and admitted her involvement, few seconds later this fresh account got hacked from an Android device. Mind you, I didn’t watch stories.
Already did a factory reset and nothing changed.
