🔗Easy-Clean Crocs Flip Flops with Massage Footbed

https://preview.redd.it/uejoxqhli42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=28a078d2b14325224aba49929336a753b74e6175
I recently stumbled upon these Crocs Unisex Crocband Flip Flops in bone, and I can't say that I was disappointed. What initially caught my eye was their sleek and sporty design, featuring racing stripes on the midsole. It's a small touch, but it definitely adds a unique twist to the classic flip flop.
One of the first things I noticed while wearing these flip flops was their lightweight construction. The abrasion-resistant soles allowed me to confidently stride through various terrains, and the elasticity and quick-drying properties were a major plus, especially during warmer months.
Now, let's talk about comfort. The footbed is designed with massage elements that genuinely felt amazing after long days on my feet. The Croslite material provided the perfect balance of cushioning and comfort, making these flip flops a delight to wear.
However, there were a couple of drawbacks I encountered. Sizing seemed to be an issue, with some customers reporting inconsistencies between unisex and gender-specific styles. Additionally, the Crocs brand has had some quality control issues in the past, such as slipper soles breaking down after extended use.
Despite these minor setbacks, I found the Crocs Unisex Crocband Flip Flops to be a solid choice for a comfortable, stylish, and versatile flip flop. Would I recommend them? Absolutely! They're perfect for a day at the beach, a pool party, or simply running errands around town. Just be prepared to experiment with different sizes to find the perfect fit.

🔗Comfortable Brown Crocs Flip-Flops for Men

The Crocs Men's Swiftwater Wave Flip-Flop, a perfect summer companion, has become a staple in my daily life. With its original Croslite foam cushion, these flip-flops offer all-day support while keeping my feet feeling soft and comfortable.
The highlight of these Crocs flip-flops has to be their water-friendly feature, making them perfect for days spent boating or strolling around the lake. The flexible, comfortable straps ensure a snug fit, ensuring that my feet stay secure in these flips.
The flex grooves on the outsole are a great addition, enhancing both flexibility and traction, which is a true game-changer for me. Although I haven't had much luck with sizing, I appreciate the versatility in offering multiple sizes to cater to different footsizes.
However, there's always room for improvement. I notice that the design can be a bit chunky and, at times, it can feel a bit heavy on my feet. While it is more durable than other flip-flops I've tried, the design aspect makes it look a bit less casual and more like a heavy-duty shoe.
In conclusion, despite a few downsides, the Crocs Men's Swiftwater Wave Flip-Flop is a reliable and comfortable choice, especially for those seeking flip-flops that can hold up in a variety of environments.

🔗Crocs Women's Tulum Flip Flops - Lightweight, Breathable, and Stylish Summer Footwear

https://preview.redd.it/mxiaaq9mi42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=72f3a227d5d87ee7db1ca4ad558a76c691ca06e8
I recently purchased the Crocs Tulum Flip Flops for women and was excited to give them a try. The color I chose, sand, is perfect for the warm weather here.
I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight and comfortable they were. The Matlite straps and toe bracing made walking on them a breeze. However, I did notice the shoes were slightly larger than my usual size, which resulted in some slippage when walking.
Overall, I really enjoyed wearing them, and they added a trendy touch to every outfit I wore them with. The Crocs Tulum Flip Flops are a great addition to my summer wardrobe.

🔗Comfortable and Durable All-Terrain Flip Flops with Adjustable Straps

https://preview.redd.it/iv8wh8umi42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6586dac9d3d796d26c9cad9d9ffdb02126229da1
Recently, I decided to give the Crocs Unisex All-Terrain Flip Flop a try. Let me tell you, it has become my go-to footwear for both work and play. The two-strap upper is a game-changer, providing a secure and snug fit that doesn't budge when I'm on my feet for long hours. I also appreciate the adjustable turbo heel straps, which ensure a comfortable fit even when my feet are swollen from a long day.
The rugged lug outsoles with enhanced tread provide excellent traction and support, making it a breeze to tackle any terrain. Additionally, the molded Croslite foam uppers are lightweight and flexible, offering 360-degree comfort that feels like walking on clouds. And let's not forget the ease of cleaning these flip flops; they dry quickly and are a cinch to maintain.
While I absolutely love the customizable charm features, I find the sizing can be a bit tricky. As a reviewer who has used the product, I recommend sizing down if you typically fall between sizes or have narrow feet. Overall, the Crocs Unisex All-Terrain Flip Flop has become a staple in my wardrobe, and I'm thrilled to share this positive experience with others.

🔗Lightweight Crocs Baya II Flip Flops for Active Lifestyles

https://preview.redd.it/v6zv8m2ni42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=10eff2c58dee68f1d7aa1fb44475bcbe3168d2e6
As a fan of flip flops, I was excited to try out the Crocs Unisex-Adult Baya II Flip Flops. The moment I slip my feet into these stylish sandals, I could feel the lightweight comfort kicking in. The Croslite material made them so easy to clean and quickly dry, which is a major plus for someone who's always on the go.
The supportive shape of the Baya II felt incredible on my feet, but I did notice a slight issue with the toe thong. It felt a bit tighter than previous versions, causing a bit of discomfort after extended use. I also noticed that the angle on the heel sole was more steep than my previous pair of Crocs, which made for a slightly jarring heel contact point when walking.
Despite those minor details, I was overall pleased with the Crocs Unisex-Adult Baya II Flip Flops. They provided the perfect balance of style and comfort, making them a great choice for both casual wear and outdoor activities. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a lightweight, easy-to-clean flip flop that offers great arch support and all-day comfort.

🔗Crocs Lightblue and Green Printed Thong Flip-Flops

https://preview.redd.it/gt6y02dni42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0859c8b73f188ad5030e16306cd56d019e1d9a56
I must admit, I was skeptical about the Crocs Flip Flops I received. But after trying them on, they quickly became a staple in my daily routine. The open-toe design makes them perfect for casual occasions, and the slip-on closure allows me to easily put them on and take them off.
The first thing that caught my attention was the lightweight feel of the shoe. The Croslite upper and croslite outsole make it seem as if I'm wearing nothing at all, yet the footbed offers just the right amount of support for a comfortable fit. However, I noticed that the shoes run a little small, especially in the toe area.
One of the standout features of these Crocs was the vibrant blue and green ombre printed upper. It adds a fun twist to the classic thong flip-flop design. As for drawbacks, I found that the strap wasn't as comfortable across the back of my heel as I had hoped.
While I appreciated the patterned outsole, it didn't have the traction I expected for an outdoor-oriented shoe. This might be a factor to consider if you plan on wearing them for hiking or similar activities.
In summary, these Crocs Flip Flops are comfortable, stylish, and versatile, making them an ideal choice for laid-back situations. Just be prepared for the potential drawbacks, such as the small sizing and the strap's fit on the back of your foot.

🔗Crocs Classic Flip 2.0: Lightweight and Customizable Sandals for Ultimate Comfort

https://preview.redd.it/x7j4889oi42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=369940e98d308e98d789706e17c0fa7a92f49788
These Crocs Classic Flip sandals were a real game-changer for my summer wardrobe. The fit was roomy and comfortable, reminding me of the iconic Crocs clog. The upper design was a quirky flip, adding a fresh look to this classic shoe. Not only were they incredibly light and fun to wear, but they dried quickly after being cleaned, making them a reliable footwear choice for my outdoor adventures.
I particularly enjoyed customizing them with Jibbitz charms, adding a playful touch to my casual style. The deep cupped Croslite foam footbeds provided lasting comfort, and I never felt weighed down by these sandals. However, a slight concern arose when I noticed the size variations in some color options, as I had an issue with the oyster pair being too big.
Overall, I'd recommend these Crocs Classic Flip sandals to anyone looking for a lightweight, comfortable, and customizable summer footwear option. Their ease of cleaning and quick drying abilities make them a fantastic addition to any wardrobe.

🔗Water-Resistant Crocs Flip Flops for Women

https://preview.redd.it/v2jcflloi42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7c95dcc1e1d212f332ea342412099bf47325353e
Recently, I tried out the Crocs Women's Classic Platform Retro Resort Flip Bone / Multi W8 flip flops and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and stylish they were. The vibrant graphics and iconic Crocs design made them stand out, and the water-resistant feature made them perfect for poolside and beach adventures. What stood out to me the most was their lightweight comfort, which allowed my feet to feel completely supported while I walked around wearing them.
However, I did notice a couple of downsides to these flip flops. One issue was that they seemed to be a slightly narrower fit compared to some of my other Crocs, which can be a bit of a hassle if you typically wear wide shoes. Additionally, some of the reviews mentioned that the shoes run a bit small, so it's essential to keep that in mind when making your purchase.
Overall, I'd highly recommend these flip flops for anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and convenient option for summer walks. But just be mindful of the sizing and fit, and you'll be all set for a fun and comfortable summer experience!

🔗Comfortable Crocs Women's Leopard Print Flip Flops for On-the-Go Fashion

https://preview.redd.it/4bt7p75pi42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=326b2f89c4d9005b9d0e472c0ecadff5254d4dd5

I recently had the chance to try out the Crocs Women's Kadee II Leopard Flip Flops, and I must say my experience with them was a mixed bag. On one hand, I loved how stylish the leopard print on the straps made the flip flops look, which added an interesting twist to the usual boring flip flop designs. They were also incredibly light and provided a good amount of cushioning, which made them perfect for all-day wearing.
However, there were a couple of things that stood out negatively. Firstly, I found that sizing was a bit of an issue – they seemed to run quite small, which meant I had to get a size up from what I normally wear. This was a bit inconvenient as it meant I couldn't wear them with everything in my wardrobe.
Another downside was that the TPU toe posts felt a bit hard and rigid. While they provided good support, I couldn't help but feel that they were rather uncomfortable on my feet, especially after wearing them for long periods.
Despite these minor issues, I still enjoyed wearing the Crocs Women's Kadee II Leopard Flip Flops, and they quickly became a staple in my summer footwear collection. The combination of style, comfort, and lightweight design made them stand out from other flip flops I've tried in the past. However, I do wish that the sizing was a bit more consistent across all models and that the toe post material felt a bit softer.

🔗Comfortable Crocs Recovery Flip Flops

https://preview.redd.it/rtcd5iepi42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ae2af5b64e6b6e0b415ebf9064d21c5d1b99528f

The Crocs Unisex Mellow Recovery Flip Flop in Black are the epitome of comfort. I remember the first time I put them on, sinking into the soft LiteRide foam footbeds, feeling like the weight of the day was instantly lifted off my feet. The contemporary upper design is both sleek and stylish, and the modern look makes them perfect for casual wear or work.
However, these flip flops aren't just about looks, they offer deep cupped footbeds that provide incredible sink-in comfort and a slow rebound, making walking feel like a dream. But one thing I noticed was the weight of the shoes. They felt heavy compared to other flip flops I've worn before.
Despite the heavy feel, I found the Mellow Recovery Flip Flop's grip was fantastic. The dots on the top helped with grip when my feet were wet, and they even stuck to surfaces like a charm. The soft finished toe post also added to the overall comfort, and the roomy fit made it ideal for people with wider feet like myself.
But one thing that might be a downside for some is the lack of rebound. They don't have that energy return you'd get from other lightweight flip flops. It didn't bother me much, but it is something to consider if you're a fan of bouncy shoes.
Still, the Crocs Mellow Recovery Flip Flop in Black is like a comforting hug for your feet. It's like my feet wanted to kick back and relax after a long day, and these flip flops made it possible. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable pair of shoes. Just be prepared for the slightly heavier feel, and maybe don't expect the same energy return you'd get with other flip flops.

🔗Relaxed Fit, Water-Friendly Crocs Flip Flops

https://preview.redd.it/e3uxvo3qi42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=93a6b5177e6a562e0a7e43994ebb0131e42695db
I recently tried out the Crocs Women's Splash Flip Flop, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations! The most striking feature of this flip-flop is the cupped croslite footbed, which provides a sense of pure comfort with every step. Plus, the soft TPU upper is a nice touch, making these shoes feel like a cozy hug for my feet.
Another thing I loved about this flip-flop is its water-friendly nature. I had the chance to test it out during a summer shower, and it held up like a champ! Not only did it keep my feet dry, but it also felt incredibly lightweight. The croslite sole ensures strong traction, so I never had to worry about slipping.
However, I did notice that the straps seemed a bit loose at first, but they didn't actually slip when walking. This might be something to consider if you prefer a snugger fit, so I would recommend trying these on before making a purchase.
Overall, the Crocs Women's Splash Flip Flop is a comfortable and stylish option for a water-friendly summer flip-flop. Its unique features make it a standout choice among other flip-flops in the market, and I would definitely consider buying a pair again in the future.

🔗Comfortable Crocs Flip Flops for Men and Women

https://preview.redd.it/9pp336eqi42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=af4cd86097bdf0540ea958217a1647cbccec4ae1
As someone who's always on the lookout for stylish yet comfy footwear, the Crocs Men's and Women's Bayaband Flip Flop became the perfect addition to my summer wardrobe. The first thing that caught my eye was its sleek, contemporary design. It was the kind of flip-flop that screamed casual while making me feel like I could easily transition it to a semi-formal event. The PU sole added an extra touch of sophistication, while the super-lightweight design made me feel like I was walking on clouds.
However, the comfort was where these flip-flops really shone. The soft, flexible straps wrapped around my feet like a gentle hug, and the Croslite™ foam footbed provided excellent cushioning and arch support. It was as if they were custom molded to fit my feet perfectly. Moreover, their non-marking outsole proved to be a lifesaver, not only on the ground but also in the shower and around water.
But with all the positives, there were a few areas for improvement. The limited color options might disappoint those who like a more extensive range. Furthermore, the sizing consistency of Crocs products was a bit hit or miss, and it would've been helpful for the company to ensure that sizes across the various models were more consistent.
In conclusion, the Bayaband Flip Flop by Crocs is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a stylish yet incredibly comfortable casual flip-flop. It's a little gem within the vast world of flip-flops and stands out due to its unique features and comfort. Despite the minor flaws, I highly recommend giving it a try - who knows, it might just become your go-to summer shoe.

🔗Cute and Comfortable Crocs Kadee II Graphic Flip Flops

https://preview.redd.it/7d9w31sqi42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fc6dbb115fb6dccb0409dec87ca4f6272e00e73d
As a lover of comfortable and stylish footwear, I was excited to try the Crocs Women's Kadee II Graphic Flip Flops. Upon receiving them, I immediately noticed the fun and playful graphic pattern on the straps, which added a touch of personality to these flips.
Wearing them for the first time, I was impressed by the molded Croslite foam construction that made them incredibly lightweight. The soft TPU toe post ensured a comfortable fit, and the sleeker, slimmer straps made them look more chic and sophisticated compared to other basic flip flops.
One thing I must say, however, is that these flips require a bit of breaking in. Initially, the top strap felt a bit snug and could cause some friction against my foot, but this issue resolved itself after wearing the flips for a few days.
Despite the minor adjustment period, I have grown to love these flips for their comfort and style. They are perfect for casual outings, and I often find myself reaching for them on days when I need a break from my usual sandals. Furthermore, they're an excellent gifting option for friends who appreciate a mix of fashion and function in their footwear.

🔗Stylish, Comfortable Women's Crocs Flip Platform Sandal

https://preview.redd.it/344erl7ri42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=25d8664a25cbb6906f951831c9134e6b2cf34841
I recently tried the Women's Crocs Brooklyn Platform Flip Flop, and I must say, it provided the perfect blend of style and comfort. The soft, flexible upper and open-toe design were a breath of fresh air on hot summer days. The unique flip-flop style toe post added an element of chic to the design. The Crocs text logo on the upper was a subtle but noticeable touch.
What I truly appreciated was the excellent all-day comfort that came from the LiteRide foam footbeds. The lightweight Croslite foundation ensured that the sandals were not too heavy to wear. The lightweight outsole made walking a breeze, and the ease of slipping them on and off made these flip flops a perfect addition to any outfit.
However, there were a few aspects that I did not enjoy. After the initial break-in period, the toe post became quite uncomfortable for my feet. The rubber upper did cause some redness and blisters, which was a bit of a disappointment. As someone who's had good experiences with Crocs in the past, I was shocked by this painful experience.
Overall, despite the minor drawbacks, the Women's Crocs Brooklyn Platform Flip Flop provided both style and comfort. While it may not be suitable for everyone, it is definitely worth considering for those in need of a versatile and trendy flip-flop option.

🔗Crocs Mellow Slide Men's and Women's Comfortable Flip Flops for Any Adventure

https://preview.redd.it/6gtfcajri42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=59fa6aff8120be28ab8f2da9308a3feee0ca0d03
My experience with the Crocs Mellow Slide is a refreshing blend of modern comfort and classic style. A pair of these slippers quickly became my go-to for casual workdays and weekends at home. The moment I slipped them on, the soft LiteRide foam and deep cupped footbed offered immediate relief for my sore feet, like a warm hug on a stressful day.
Despite the roomy fit, these shoes feel light and airy, thanks to the stylish design and enhanced breathability. The water-friendly feature also eliminates any worries about getting them wet, which is a huge plus for someone who constantly spills coffee on their shoes during a long day at work.
However, there were a few cons that I encountered as well. Firstly, I suggest sizing down as the shoe can be quite larger than expected. Another minor annoyance, but understandable given the product's primary purpose, is the loud farting noise generated with every step.
Overall, the Crocs Mellow Slide is an excellent slide-on for anyone who wants to combine comfort and style without compromising on quality.

Buyer's Guide

Crocs flip flops are one of the most popular types of footwear, known for their comfort and versatility. When considering purchasing a pair, there are several essential features and considerations to keep in mind. Here's a guide to help you make the best decision for your needs.

Important Features

https://preview.redd.it/ezfpgz0ui42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1fd7a62ad6804b74917cfcddfc5bae5951e65c2e

  1. Comfort: Comfort is the primary selling point of Crocs flip flops. They are designed to be lightweight, breathable, and have a contoured footbed for optimal support.
  2. Material: Croc slip-ons are typically made of Crocs' signature resin material, which is durable, water-resistant, and easy to clean. However, some models may have additional materials like straps or uppers made of fabric or leather.
  3. Cushioning: Look for flip flops with cushioning in the footbed and heel to provide extra comfort and shock absorption. The Jibbitz charms can also add a personal touch and additional comfort.
  4. Adjustability: Some Crocs flip flops come with adjustable straps for a better fit, which is especially useful if you plan to wear them for extended periods or during activities.

Considerations

  1. Activity: Determine the primary use of your flip flops. Will you be wearing them for everyday casual wear, at the beach or pool, or for more active pursuits like hiking or running?
  2. Weather: Consider the climate where you'll be wearing your flip flops. If you live in a region with frequent rain, look for water-resistant models. If you live in a colder climate, you may prefer a flip flop with a more substantial upper material to provide extra warmth and protection.
  3. Sizing: Crocs flip flops can vary in sizing, so it's essential to choose the right fit for your feet. Most Crocs have an adjustable strap, but some may require a half size up or down depending on the style.

General Advice

  1. Before making a purchase, try on the flip flops to ensure a proper fit and comfort.
  2. Take into account the care of your chosen Crocs flip flops. Make sure they're UV-resistant, easy to clean, and have a durability that suits your needs and usage.
  3. Consider the variety of styles and colors available in Crocs flip flops. There's something for everyone, so have fun finding a design that fits your personal style.
  4. Finally, remember that Crocs flip flops are designed with fun and comfort in mind. Don't be afraid to mix and match with your wardrobe or accessorize with Jibbitz charms.

GDS System
GDS System
How Do Travel Companies Use GDS?

Travelopro Global Distribution System (GDS) is a computerized network system. It is a large computer network which is integrated with 100s of worldwide Airlines and consolidators for enabling transactions between travel agents and travel sites and also used by airlines, hotels, car rentals, railways and buses.

Our GDS mainly uses real-time inventory to service providers (vendors). It is also called Automated Reservation System (ARS) or Computerized Reservation System (CRS).

GDS stands for Global Distribution System and it is basically a central reservation system enables travel agencies and their clients to access travel data, shop for and compare reservations options and book travel.

It is an online system or network that functions across the globe and connects the travel service providers or vendors to the travel agencies in real-

time, by providing a centralized service that covers the bookings of airlines tickets, car rental, hotel rooms and more.

It allows travel agents to access, in real-time, availability, feature and prices for hotels, airlines, rental car companies, and additional travel services worldwide.

The influential global distribution systems are Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, and Worldspan. This allows users to buy tickets from various providers or different airlines.

GDS can link services, rates, and bookings that combine a variety of products and services in all three travel sectors: e.g., airline bookings, hotel reservations, and car rentals.

Early customers of the Global Distribution System are travel agents and travel companies (web and office-based) to place orders on various reservation systems run by vendors.

Independent travel agents, travel agencies and online agents are now using an increasingly sophisticated GDS system to find the best travel and accommodation and rates for their clients.
The agent will make airline and hotel bookings (in real-time) for clients, and they will complete their research and booking within minutes.

Travel Agencies have traditionally relied on GDS for services, products & rates to provide travel-related services to end consumers.

What Are the Benefits of Using GDS?

GDS combines booking, tariffs, and service & product consolidation in all travel sectors. It is also responsible for the growth of the travel industry.

GDS system is one of the most important tools for the travel industry. Global Distribution Systems are server-hosted web services that offer deals in the reservation of travel products such as flights, hotels, transfers and vacation packages worldwide.

A GDS system is a search-based system that allows users to search for travel products from suppliers around the world and the system will yield results with real-time pricing and availability comparisons.

It is used to access for international airlines live data, worldwide hotel inventory, car rentals, and other travel-related services.

Through such business platforms as the GDS System, OTA (Online Travel Agent) can access the inventory of hotels, airlines, car rentals reservations in real-time. Users can book and process the travel offers that best fit their needs.

Online travel agencies and customers around the world use GDS-integrated travel software to book the travel services they need. The GDS system enables automated transactions between travel service providers/vendors and travel agencies.

The travel agencies use the services and products to provide travel-related services to the end consumers. It deals with worldwide data, rates, inventory, offers real-time availability of airlines, hotel rooms, car rental, and many more to make the booking easier for the operators and vendors alike.

Now, the GDS systems run independently and their major subscribers are airlines and travel agencies. There are three major GDS in the market- Amadeus, Sabre, and Travelport (Galileo and Worldspan) in both B2B and B2C platforms.

What Is the Future of GDS In the Travel Industry?

GDS distribution is one of the best ways to connect with the world of travel agents globally. There are over 650,000 plus travel agents connected via a GDS system booking multiple travel services from airline tickets, car rental, hotel rooms, sightseeing and more.

How Travelopro GDS system works?

GDS software developed by us typically offers whole suite of services for the OTAs, ranging from passenger service systems (PSSs) to revenue management systems (RMSs).

The passenger name record (PNR) in the airline reservations system is maintained in the GDS system.

If a passenger books an itinerary containing air segments of multiple airlines through a travel agency, the passenger name record in the GDS system would hold information on their entire itinerary, each airline can fly on would only have a portion of the itinerary that is relevant to them.

This would contain flight segments on their own services and inbound and onward connecting flights of other airlines in the itinerary.

Our Global distribution systems originated from a traditional legacy business model that existed to inter-operate between airline vendors and Travelopro.

We invested heavily in our own reservations and direct-distribution channels and partner systems.

This helps to minimize direct dependency on GDS systems to meet sales and revenue targets and allows for a more dynamic response to market needs.

These technology advancements of our solutions facilitate an easier way to cross-sell to partner airlines and via travel agents, eliminating the dependency on multiple third-party solutions federating between systems.

The spacious front pocket was perfect for stashing smaller items, while the twin zip opening made it easy to access everything. The water bottle pocket on the side came in handy, and the top grab handle was a lifesaver when it was time to hop onto the bus.
The Columbia branding on the backpack made me feel proud to be carrying it, and the foam-padded back provided the support and comfort I needed for a long day of exploring. The only downside I encountered was that the side pockets didn't have elastic, which caused my water bottle to slip around a bit.
In conclusion, the Columbia Atlas Explorer backpack delivered on its promise of convenience and comfort. While there were a few minor drawbacks, the overall experience was positive, and I look forward to using it on my future adventures.

The Zigzag 22L Backpack is a perfectly sized companion for your daily life. I've been using this bag for both class and work, and it has been a lifesaver. The most significant feature for me is the 15" laptop sleeve in the main compartment, which protects my valuables and keeps me organized. The slightly padded adjustable anatomical shoulder straps have been comfortable even on long hikes, while the side pocket for my water bottle makes hydration easy. The flat, padded bottom also helps keep the bag upright, adding to its overall functionality.
One slight drawback I've encountered is the lack of dual zippers on the front pocket, making it a minor inconvenience when loading and unloading items. However, this has not been a game changer for me, and I've been able to adapt. Overall, the Columbia Zigzag 22L Backpack is an excellent choice for those seeking a reliable, versatile, and attractive backpack for everyday use.

As a frequent hiker, I've tested my fair share of backpacks, but none have compared to the Columbia Silver Ridge 30L Backpack in Black. Right from the start, the Techlite shoulder straps and adjustable compression straps provide an unparalleled level of comfort, making it easy to carry heavy loads with ease.
One of the biggest highlights for me has been the Backdraft ventilated back panel, which allows for exceptional airflow and keeps my back cool even on the most demanding hikes. The multi-point adjustability feature ensures a perfect fit for my body, while the three organizational pockets keep everything I need easily accessible.
Of course, it wouldn't be a proper backpack without a sternum strap and a rescue whistle, which not only helps me stay safe on my adventures but also adds a sense of style to the overall design. The two water bottle pockets are conveniently located and easy to access, ensuring I always have my water close by.
Reflective zipper pulls and trekking pole attachments provide added features that any serious hiker would appreciate, and the stowable rain cover is a lifesaver when unexpected weather strikes. Finally, the adjustable hip belt with accessory pockets adds a practical touch to the already impressive design.
Made of 100% Nylon with a PU coating, this backpack is built to withstand even the toughest conditions, and I've put it to the test in a variety of scenarios. Despite the few minor drawbacks, such as it being slightly too big for my needs, the overall quality, functionality, and style of this backpack make it well worth the investment.

I've had the pleasure of using the Columbia Trek 18L Backpack for a few weeks now, and I must say, it's been a game-changer for me. Let me tell you about my experience with this backpack.
Firstly, the size of this backpack is perfect for my daily needs. It's not too big to be cumbersome, and yet, it still has enough space to fit all the essentials I need for work or errands. The dedicated laptop sleeve has been an absolute lifesaver for me, especially when I'm traveling.
One of the things that stood out to me the most is the comfort this backpack offers. The foam padded back and adjustable shoulder straps make carrying it a breeze, even when it's fully loaded. I appreciate that it's designed with comfort in mind.

However, there's one downside I've noticed. Although the backpack is water-resistant, it's not entirely waterproof. This means that you might need to pack your stuff in waterproof bags or pouches if you're planning to use it during rainy days or as a beach bag.
Overall, I've had a great experience using the Columbia Trek 18L Backpack. It's comfortable, stylish, and practical, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for an all-purpose backpack.

The adjustable straps and breathable air mesh back panel provided the perfect level of comfort, ensuring I didn't feel weighed down or uncomfortable during the trip.
However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks that I noticed. The first was the lack of an attachment for keys, which I found a bit inconvenient. Another minor issue was that the side mesh pockets weren't quite tall enough to securely hold my water bottle, causing me to worry about it falling out.
Despite these minor setbacks, the positives far outweighed the negatives. The Columbia Zigzag Backpack is a versatile and durable choice for anyone seeking a reliable and stylish companion for their adventures, whether they're hiking, commuting to work, or exploring a new city. Overall, I'd highly recommend this backpack to anyone looking for a functional and fashionable companion for their travels.

This backpack has become my perfect companion for day trips, work commutes, and even as a diaper bag for my baby. The flat padded bottom is another standout feature, providing extra durability and protection for the bag's contents. The key clip is a thoughtful addition, ensuring I never lose my keys again. However, the 1 Quarts capacity might feel a bit limited for those who need to carry more items.

🔗Columbia Men's Trophy Rack Rain Jacket

https://preview.redd.it/8x6lplgvo32d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=597fb967e7f99896c6ba6b86bfe8657fb0732d85
First, let me share a quick anecdote about my experience with this jacket. As a dedicated hunter, I've been using this Columbia Men's Trophy Rack Silent Rain Jacket for over a year now, and it's definitely made a difference in my hunting expeditions.
One feature that stands out is the adjustable hood, hem, and cuffs, which provide excellent protection from the elements while still allowing me to customize the fit according to my needs. The underarm venting is also a godsend when the weather heats up, ensuring I stay comfortable even on longer hunts.
However, as with any product, there are some downsides. Its breathability rating could be better, as some users found it hard to maintain a comfortable temperature during extended periods of sweating. The fabric may not be as quiet as some other options on the market, though it's more than adequate for general hunting use.
Despite these minor drawbacks, I would highly recommend the Columbia Trophy Rack Silent Rain Jacket to anyone looking for a reliable, feature-rich hunting jacket that can withstand the toughest weather conditions. It's truly a game-changer in my book!

🔗Stylish Modern Single Sleeper Sofa Bed

https://preview.redd.it/18yre6pvo32d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=200ab03a4640d0b3d022973d3f7a2bb3a768c6d1
I recently got the chance to wear the Columbia Men's Roaring Fork Down Jacket, and I have to say, it's become my go-to outer layer for winter. The moment you slip it on, you can immediately feel the warmth from the 550 fill power down insulation. Plus, the helmet-compatible hood and underarm venting are perfect for those long days on the slopes.
One thing that really stood out to me was the overall craftsmanship. The seams are well-stitched, and the waterproof-breathable outer shell has held up against even the toughest weather conditions. However, I did notice that the sizing tends to run a bit large, so keep that in mind when making your purchase.
Another highlight worth mentioning is the Omni-Heat Infinity advanced thermal reflective fabric. This technology uses silver dots to reflect and retain body heat, making this jacket feel even warmer than it looks. Although it's a bit heavier than some other jackets I've tried, I appreciate the added warmth on those really cold days.
Overall, I'm thrilled with my Columbia Roaring Fork Down Jacket. It's kept me cozy and dry through countless winter adventures, and I know I'll be wearing it for years to come. If you're in the market for a new winter jacket, I highly recommend giving this one a try!

🔗Columbia Ptarmigan Interchange Parka

https://preview.redd.it/bhj8mf4wo32d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7bcd7fe40e03d6a5035c42318a7cd120da9d4a25
I've been using the Columbia Men's Ptarmigan Interchange Parka for quite some time now, and boy, has it made a difference in my hunting experiences! This interchangeable jacket has truly made my life easier. The versatility of being able to adjust the layers according to the weather conditions is just brilliant.
The Omni-Shield technology really stands out here. It's like having a personal shield against liquid absorption, making it easy to keep the jacket stain-free. And, of course, that stain resistance is super important during hunting trips! Not to mention, the cargo pockets provide ample space for all my belongings.
I used to struggle with keeping myself warm during those cold hunts, but not anymore. The fleece material in this parka has been an absolute lifesaver when it comes to retaining heat during harsh weather conditions. I didn't need to wear bulky layers and worry about the movement restrictions. The Ptarmigan Jacket gives me the flexibility and freedom without compromising on warmth.
However, not everything is perfect. The only minor inconvenience I faced was with the birds in the game bag. Getting them in and out can be a little challenging at times, which could be improved upon.
All in all, I am thrilled with this men's hunting jacket. It's well-made, offers great weather protection, and provides a comfortable fit during long hunts. If you're looking for a durable and functional hunting jacket, look no further than the Columbia Men's Ptarmigan Interchange Parka!

🔗Columbia Northern Utilizer Jacket for Men

I recently purchased the Columbia Men's Northern Utilizer Jacket in Small - Delta and have been using it for several weeks now. This jacket has quickly become a staple in my wardrobe, especially during these unpredictable spring months.
The first thing that caught my attention about this jacket was its water-resistant fabric. Living in an area with frequent rain showers, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this jacket kept me dry even in a light drizzle. The polyester lining also adds an extra layer of warmth, making it perfect for cooler mornings or evenings.
One feature I really appreciate is the zipper closure. It's not only secure but also easy to use, even with one hand. Additionally, the machine-washable aspect of this jacket makes it incredibly convenient for everyday wear.
However, there are a couple of downsides to this jacket. The lack of elastic on the sides can cause discomfort if the waist area feels tight. Additionally, the sleeves don't have a quilted fabric, which can make putting them on a bit challenging at times.
Despite these minor issues, the Columbia Men's Northern Utilizer Jacket has proven itself to be a reliable and stylish choice. Its durability, water resistance, and warmth make it a must-have for anyone who wants to stay protected from the elements while looking good.

🔗Columbia Men's PHG Fleece Overlay Quarter Zip

https://preview.redd.it/lllip2zwo32d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=574e13d1b0119aa549b02ffd6d58e934458ab142
I've been using the Columbia Men's PHG Fleece Overlay 1/4 Zip for a while now, and I must say, it's a game-changer in my wardrobe. This fleece is perfect for those chilly mornings when you need an extra layer to keep you warm without feeling bulky. The zipper closure and adjustable hem make it incredibly comfortable and versatile.
One of the standout features of this fleece is its design. The 250g fleece is soft and warm, while the water-resistant camo overlay adds both style and practicality. The zippered hand pockets are a nice touch, as well.
However, one small issue I encountered was that the fleece material feels a bit thin. It's not necessarily a deal-breaker, but I would've appreciated a slightly thicker fabric for added warmth on extremely cold days.
Overall, I highly recommend the Columbia Men's PHG Fleece Overlay 1/4 Zip for anyone who wants a stylish, comfortable, and versatile fleece to add to their wardrobe. It's perfect for those transitioning weather days when you need an extra layer to keep you warm. So, if you're in the market for a new fleece, this is definitely worth checking out!

I'll be honest - I'm no extreme outdoorsman, but I do enjoy a good hike. Recently, I went on a camping trip and needed something that would keep me warm and dry. Enter the Columbia Men's Silver Falls Jacket. It's not only functional but also stylish.
The first thing that stood out to me was how light it was. I could easily fold it up and stuff it into its own pocket, making it perfect for packing without taking up much space. Plus, the active fit means it moves with me, whether I'm climbing a trail or chopping wood by the campfire.
One feature that impressed me was the insulation made from 100% recycled polyester. Not only was I staying warm and cozy, but I could also feel good about doing my part for the environment. Another highlight was the extended sizing options, making it suitable for everyone.
However, there are some cons to consider. The hood can sometimes be a bit big, and it might not fit perfectly under a helmet or a hat. And while the waterproofing does its job, it's not quite as effective in heavy rain.
In short, if you're looking for a jacket that combines functionality with sustainability, the Columbia Men's Silver Falls Jacket could be just what you need. It's perfect for hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities, making it a reliable companion on any adventure.

I've been using the Columbia Men's Cedar Cliff Insulated Jacket for quite some time now, and I must say it's been quite the companion during those chilly days. The adjustable hood is a game-changer, ensuring that I remain dry and cozy even during heavy downpours. The zippered hand pockets add an extra layer of security for my belongings while the elastic cuffs keep my wrists snug and warm.
One feature that I absolutely adore is the lightweight yet insulated nature of the jacket. This means I can comfortably layer up during extremely cold days without feeling bulky or encumbered. Additionally, the distinctive olive shell and vibrant orange inner lining make a bold statement, garnering compliments from everyone who sees it.
However, there are a few minor issues. Some users have pointed out that the outer material is quite thin, making the jacket less durable than expected. Moreover, the arm bulkiness can be inconvenient for some people. Nevertheless, these cons do not outweigh the numerous benefits offered by this fantastic jacket.
In conclusion, the Columbia Men's Cedar Cliff Insulated Jacket has been a trusty ally during my daily escapades. Its blend of style, insulation, and flexibility makes it a must-have for anyone seeking a reliable winter companion.

I recently purchased a Columbia Men's PHG Ascender Softshell Jacket in black, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer for me. First off, the quality is top-notch. This jacket is crafted from fleece fabric, which ensures it keeps me warm during those chilly morning walks or camping trips.
One of the standout features for me is its water resistance. The Omni-Shield technology means that even when a sudden rain shower catches me off guard, I don't have to worry about getting soaked. Plus, the adjustable hem and cuffs help trap heat inside, keeping my body temperature stable.
However, as much as I love this jacket, I did find one minor flaw. The sleeves seem slightly longer than necessary, causing them to bunch up when I'm not wearing thick layers underneath. But this issue is pretty minor considering how well this jacket performs overall.
I've been using my Columbia PHG Ascender Softshell Jacket regularly now, and it's become my go-to outerwear choice. If you're looking for a warm, water-resistant, and stylish jacket that won't break the bank, this is definitely worth considering.

When I first got my hands on the Columbia Men's Cedar Cliff Insulated Jacket, I was excited to see how it would fare in the unpredictable weather we often experience. Right off the bat, I appreciated the waterproof and breathable design, which has been a lifesaver during sudden rainstorms. The lightweight fabric is easily wearable without feeling too bulky, and the zippered hand pockets have been a game-changer for keeping my essentials dry. One of my favorite features of this jacket is the adjustable toggle closure, which allows me to customize the fit for proper coverage during those blustery days.
I must say, however, that I was a bit disappointed with the lack of extra pockets. The sleeves could also use some adjustment straps, especially for those who struggle with finding the perfect fit in jackets. Despite these minor drawbacks, I have found this jacket to be a reliable piece of outerwear that offers ample warmth and protection from the elements.
In summary, the Columbia Men's Cedar Cliff Insulated Jacket has proven to be a dependable ally on my outdoor adventures. Its craftsmanship, combined with the ability to customize its fit, make it a standout choice for anyone seeking a comfortable and functional jacket for varying weather conditions.

I've been wearing this Columbia Men's PHG Camo Fleece Hunting Jacket for a few weeks now, and I must say, it's been a game changer. The soft fabric is incredibly comfortable, even during hours of sitting in the stand or moving around the woods. The regular fit feels just right - not too tight, not too loose - perfect for those long days of hunting.
One feature that stood out to me is the warmth provided by the 250g 100% polyester anti-pilling microfleece. Whether worn as an outer layer on milder days or layered with other clothing for those frosty mornings, this jacket keeps me cozy all day. The front zipper pockets are a great addition, providing secure storage for essentials like my phone and calls.
However, there have been some minor issues that have come up. The hoodless design means I need to layer up with a hat during particularly cold days. And while the "BUILT FOR THE HUNT" tagline does inspire confidence in its performance capabilities, time will tell whether it truly stands up to the rigors of consistent use.
Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with my Columbia PHG Camo Fleece Hunting Jacket. The combination of comfort, warmth, and style makes it an ideal choice for any hunter. Despite the cons, its pros greatly outweigh them, making it a jacket worth considering for anyone looking to stay warm and protected while enjoying their time outdoors.

🔗Heat-Tech Snow Boot for Women by Columbia

https://preview.redd.it/q1vhm5cem32d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8b949e6392e4e5174327fb3e07a97d0a46e0a2c2
Recently, I had the chance to try out the Columbia Women's Moritza Shield Omni-Heat Snow Boot, and let me tell you, they've become my go-to pair for the cold season. The boot's sleek design instantly caught my eye, and once I put them on, I was impressed with the comfort they provided. I especially loved the lightweight midsole with Techlite technology, which gave me the perfect balance of cushioning and support during long walks in the snow.
One of the best features of these boots is their waterproof suede upper with fleece lining—my feet have remained toasty and dry throughout even the snowiest days. The Omni-Grip high traction rubber sole has been a lifesaver, ensuring I don't slip on icy surfaces. It truly is a "grab and go" pair of boots that I can wear both in Winter sports and casual settings alike.
However, I do have a couple of minor issues. First, some reviewers mentioned the boots can be a bit narrow, which I also found to be true on my first try. Second, the boots' ankles offer less protection compared to others, but I haven't had any problems—yet.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Columbia Women's Moritza Shield Omni-Heat Snow Boot to anyone looking for a stylish and functional pair to keep their feet cozy in the winter months. Whether you're hitting the slopes or just braving the cold, these boots will have you walking on the snow with ease and confidence.

The "Snow Boot" as Columbia calls it, is just that - one of the best snow boots around. The Omni-Heat reflective lining is a perfect example of how technology has made winter footwear more comfortable and efficient. While it's not a new concept in the market, it certainly stands out in this boot. The 200g insulation keeps the feet snug and warm even in the frostiest conditions, and the waterproof seam-sealed membrane bootie construction ensures that wet toes are a thing of the past.
The rubber sole provides a fantastic grip, ensuring that no matter if you're walking on a rainy sidewalk or a snowy trail, these boots have got you covered. I love the Techlite lightweight midsole for long-lasting comfort, superior cushioning, and high energy return. It makes walking in the snow as comfortable as walking on dry ground.
However, there's a downside to every good thing. The lacing system of these boots can be a bit of a hassle - one reviewer even mentioned that the laces seemed to be too long, which can be inconvenient. Oh, and don't forget about the faux fur collar lining - it's super soft and cozy, but it also allows snow to pool on top if you're not careful with your clothing.
Overall, the Columbia Women's Slopeside Village Omni-Heat Hi Boot 7 is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable pair of snow boots. With its Omni-Heat reflective lining, waterproof construction, and excellent grip, it's hard to go wrong with this one.

The Columbia Women's Bugaboot Celsius Plus Omni-Heat Infinity Boots are a versatile and cozy addition to any winter wardrobe. The rubber sole provides solid traction in any weather condition, whether it's wet or dry, allowing you to conquer any terrain with ease. Made with a combination of waterproof leather, textile, webbing, and metal hardware, these boots are built to withstand the elements.
My experience with these boots has been nothing short of delightful. The adjustable midfoot strap ensures a snug and comfortable fit, while the molded textile rear collar offers plenty of support for your ankles. The Omni-Heat Infinity reflective lining keeps your feet warm and cozy in the coldest weather, and the waterproof OutDry membrane construction means you can walk through puddles or slush without having to worry about wet feet.
One highlight that I particularly appreciate is the Techlite+ outsole, which provides exceptional cushioning and stability without sacrificing comfort. This feature ensures that I can enjoy my snowshoeing adventures without experiencing fatigue in my feet.
However, I also noticed that the boots run slightly large, so I would recommend sizing down half a size if you prefer a more snug fit. Overall, the Columbia Women's Bugaboot Celsius Plus Omni-Heat Infinity Boots are an excellent choice for anyone in search of both style and functionality in their winter footwear.

I recently came across a pair of Columbia Heavenly Omni-Heat Lace Up Insulated Boots in women's size 6, black, never worn without tags or box. These boots caught my eye with their unique design and promise of warmth. I decided to give them a try on a chilly morning.
As soon as I put them on, I noticed the coziness and the perfect fit, thanks to the adjustable lace-up system. The boots were incredibly comfortable, which made them ideal for both casual wear and long walks. The insulation was effective, keeping my feet warm and dry in the snow.
One downside I experienced was the slick sole, which made walking on ice a bit slippery. However, the other features more than compensated for this minor drawback. Overall, these boots are a great addition to any winter wardrobe and a testament to the brand's commitment to innovation and quality.

🔗Columbia Women's Warm Waterproof Paninaro Omni-Heat Tall Boot

These Columbia Paninaro Tall black winter boots were a delightful addition to my winter wardrobe. The Omni-Grip outsole meant I didn't have to worry about slipping on icy terrain and the waterproof textile upper kept me dry in even the wettest conditions.
But, the real star of the show was the Techlite midsole with a molded EVA footbed providing an unparalleled level of comfort. They were a perfect fit, but I noticed that the zipper was a bit difficult to do up and undo, despite this minor setback, I really enjoyed wearing these boots.
However, it's worth mentioning that they were not ideal for colder temperatures and my toes did get cold, especially if I wasn't actively moving. But overall, I appreciated the stylish look, the warmth and the comfort these boots provided.

🔗Columbia Omni-Heat Men's Fairbanks Boots: Waterproof, Breathable, and Insulated

I recently had the chance to try out these Columbia Omni-Heat boots, and I must say they've been a game-changer for me. Not only did they keep my feet warm and dry during the winter's snow and ice, but they were also incredibly comfortable to wear.
One thing that stood out to me was the boot's waterproof membrane. I live in a place where it rains frequently, and having a good pair of waterproof boots is essential. These Columbia boots passed the test with flying colors. They kept my feet dry even when I had to walk through flooded streets or puddles.
Another great feature of these boots is the lightweight midsole. I found that they provided excellent support to my feet while maintaining their lightweight nature. This was especially helpful during long days of walking or standing.
However, there were a couple of things that I didn't quite like about the boots. The first was the lacing system. I found it a bit harder to lace them up tightly than usual. I wish there was an extra eyelet up top to make the process easier.
Secondly, the inner stitching on the rear of the boot caused some discomfort for me. It rubbed against my heel bone, and after wearing the boots for just a short period of time, my heel started to feel raw. I had to apply blister pads to alleviate the pain.
Overall, I think the Columbia Omni-Heat boots are a great choice for those who need waterproof, breathable, and insulated footwear. While there are a couple of things that could be improved, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. So if you're in the market for a reliable pair of winter boots, I would certainly recommend giving these a try.

🔗Columbia Men's Gunnison II Omni-Heat Insulated Boots

https://preview.redd.it/lv0367jgm32d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f70b3f920000801526870b8daaf92ecb517d2e69
I've had the opportunity to test out the Columbia Men's Gunnison II Omni-Heat hiking boots in my daily life. There are a few standout features that impressed me. The lightweight midsole, Techlite, provides long-lasting comfort, and the Omni-Grip non-marking traction rubber outsole ensures a strong grip even in wet conditions.
One downside I noticed was the limited warmth in comparison to other options in the market. Despite its advertised temperature rating, I found that my feet were not as warm as I would've preferred for extreme cold weather conditions.
Overall, the Columbia Men's Gunnison II Omni-Heat hiking boots are a good investment for casual hiking and general outdoor use. They offer a comfortable fit and are stylish, making them suitable for various occasions. Just remember that if you plan on extreme cold weather hiking, you might want to consider a different option for optimal warmth.

🔗Columbia Ice Maiden II - Waterproof Women's Winter Boots with Omni-Grip Outsole

https://preview.redd.it/irli0dwgm32d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0383a067bb764606a5ada81168c9b2a7a107e88
In the biting winter months, finding the right pair of boots can make all the difference between braving the harsh elements or hiding indoors. Last winter, I decided to purchase a pair of Columbia Ice Maiden II Nocturnal Red Lily winter boots, drawn in by their stylish appearance and the promise of warmth in severe conditions.
Upon the first testing of these boots on a particularly frigid day, the warmth was undeniable. The seam-sealed waterproof membrane ensured my feet stayed comfortably warm, even in the depths of sub-zero temperatures. The 200G insulation, rated for -32°C, kept my toes toasty, enabling me to fully embrace the winter activities I love.
A feature I appreciated in these boots was the Techlite lightweight midsole. It added an extra layer of cushioning that made each step I took feel as if I was walking on cloud nine. This paired delightfully with the Omni-Grip non-marking traction rubber outsole, providing a reliable footing even on the dampest surfaces.
However, this experience wasn't without its share of drawbacks. Despite the exceptional insulation and traction, these boots were not entirely impervious to the elements. They didn't provide complete waterproof protection; water still managed to seep inside the foot and dampened my socks. Additionally, the boots started to show signs of wear relatively quickly.
On balance, buying the Columbia Ice Maiden II winter boots was an investment worth making for the warmth, comfort, and safety these boots offered. While they were not entirely immune to water or wear, they undeniably delivered reliable performance under harsh conditions. This made them an indispensable addition to my winter gear and a comfortable choice for all my outdoor adventures.

2024.05.23 05:07 tab_rick Advice on the Best Restaurant Countertops

Advice on the Best Restaurant Countertops
The countertop chosen for a restaurant directly affects the functionality and efficiency of the space. There are many countertops to use, each of them made of different materials, including solid surface, granite, marble, stainless steel, quartz, concrete, wood, etc.
In this article, we will take a look at the most common materials used to make restaurant countertops and their impact on workflow. Alongside this, we will discuss salient matters like the major types of commercial countertops for restaurants, factors to consider when choosing the right countertop, and so many more.

What are Restaurant Countertops?

Restaurant countertops are basically meant for serving food and drinks. However, they also function as ice stations, cash counters, and food or drinks stores. Additionally, they serve as a division between the cooking area and eating area, allowing customers to receive their orders from the kitchen easily.
Not only are they serving counters, but they also help maximize seating space. Literarily, restaurant countertops are the focal point of any restaurant.

4 Types of Commercial Countertops for Restaurants

Commercial countertops used at restaurants can be broadly classified into four categories, which are bar countertops, food counter displays, cashier counters, and kitchen counters. They are discussed below:

Bar Countertops

These countertops are often placed just outside the kitchen and are used to serve food and drinks to individuals sitting on the opposite side of the counter or to waiters who distribute the food and drinks to diners seated in the restaurant seating area.
They are constructed to be durable, easy to clean, and resistant to stains, spills, and scratches that can be caused by staff while serving or by customers.

Food Counter Displays

These restaurant counters are commonly found in patisseries, cafes, bakeries, and coffee shops. They are made with glass or plexiglass materials that can be seen through, allowing the restaurant to showcase the food they offer, such as cakes, desserts, sandwiches, etc.
They are constructed to be visually appealing and hygienic, allowing customers to view the displayed food while maintaining safety standards. The food counter displays may also include features like refrigerators or heating appliances to keep the food fresh and at the appropriate temperature.

Cashier Counters

These commercial bar tops are where transactions take place. Sometimes a booth can be designed for the cashier to stay while he receives payment through the counter. Other times, the cashier stays directly opposite the counter.
They are constructed to be sturdy, secure, and functional to handle cash registers, POS systems, and other accounting equipment. The cashier counters are designed with features like adequate storage space, accessibility for staff, and lockable drawers or compartments for security purposes.

Kitchen Counters

These commercial countertops are the workhorses of any restaurant kitchen. They are helpful for food preparation and storing cooking appliances and ingredients. Kitchen countertops are designed to withstand heavy-duty use and meet specific health and safety regulations, such as the Food and Drug Administration.
Also, they are constructed to be highly durable, heat-resistant, and very easy to clean. Ample space should be available for free and smooth cooking.

7 Materials of Restaurant Counters

There are several materials that can be used for making restaurant countertops. But shortlisted below are the 7 most popular materials, their features, pros, and cons.

Solid Surface

Solid surface is a commercial bar counter material that’s fully engineered and composed of a mixture of resins like acrylic, polyester, and stone-derived filler. It’s similar to granite but offers more versatility. Solid surface countertops are high-end customized products and the target customers are commercial users. They are non-porous and are easy to clean and repair.
Pros
Solid surfaces are more customizable
  • There are more colors and patterns to choose from
  • The seams are easy to hide during installation
  • They are resistant to most corrosive acids and don’t require sealants
  • The perfect option for restaurants seeking a clean, uniform design

https://preview.redd.it/xqz6zolnc32d1.png?width=662&format=png&auto=webp&s=c3751ad572d285c26cf9bcb2d16b00904fe6bcaa
Cons
  • Solid surfaces are quite expensive
  • Extreme heat can cause damage to the surface
  • The engineered designs mean their appearance and character won’t be natural as other materials like quartz and concrete

Granite

This is a natural stone material that isn’t just used commercially for restaurant counters, but also largely used by homeowners. It begins as a rock compressed for millions of years, in which various minerals merge together. This results in the white and gray swirling that it is popularly known for. Granite can be customized to several polished and textured finishes.
Pros
  • Strong and recyclable, making it a durable and eco-friendly option
  • High valuation even after years of usage
  • Easy to clean and highly resistant to heat, stains, and scratches
  • Contributes to the luxurious and earthy visuals of the restaurant
Cons
  • Granite is very heavy and requires a strong support system
  • The material is quite expensive
  • Requires routine maintenance, such as frequent sealing to prevent moisture and bacteria from seeping into the material pores
  • Once installed, the style and color of the countertop cannot be changed

Marble

This material used in making bar counters for restaurants begins as limestone. But after being exposed to high levels of pressure and heat, it is shaped and molded. Impurities that interfere with the process are easily recognizable as they combine to form thin veins and bands of colors.
Pros
  • Marble offers a stylish and elegant appearance that complements the design of any space
  • It’s highly resistant to heat, making it suitable for temperature-sensitive areas like bakeries
  • Comes in various natural colors and engineered designs
Cons
  • Marble is susceptible to moisture and stains, particularly alcohol and acids
  • It’s a soft stone that tends to chip and scratch
  • Requires high maintenance and frequent sealing

Stainless Steel

This is one of the notable non-porous countertop materials with unparalleled durability and resistance to bacteria, hence why it is a classic choice in the food service industry. Stainless steel can be polished to shine and luster.
Pros
  • Stainless steel is easy to sanitize and clean
  • The material is sustainable and ideal for an eco-friendly commercial bar counter
  • Perfect for bar countertops that require heat-resistant work surfaces without using sealants
Cons
  • Stainless steel leaves little room for creativity, limiting the chances of complementary design with the restaurant décor
  • Most stainless steel easily attract smudge, dust, and fingerprints, hence frequent cleaning is needed
  • Because of the material’s density, the countertops cause noise pollution while working
  • The material is susceptible to dents and scratches, which requires professional restoration

Quartz

Quartz restaurant countertops are made from quartz resin and pigment, which sometimes have coarsely ground stone inside for a flecked appearance. Others without the coarsely ground stone have a more uniform design. Quartz is a great material used in making a hygienic bar counter for restaurants.
Pros
  • Looks great and has an endless selection of colors and patterns to choose from
  • Durable and non-porous, so it’s easy to clean and requires no sealing
  • High resistance to stains and cracks, which makes it a long-lasting investment
Cons
  • Not best for people seeking a unique, uniform appearance
  • Can be expensive depending on the size and design
  • Very heavy, so there is a need for a strong support system
  • Not good at resisting heat when compared with other materials like granite and stainless steel

Concrete

Concrete countertops are made using mortar and pigment, which are then sealed to form a non-porous surface. They can be molded into various shapes and visually appealing in-lays can be included for enhanced design. While the concrete was predominantly used in industrial designs, the material is becoming popularly used in the food industry because of its ability to blend with different styles.
Pros
  • Suitable for a stain and heat-resistant work surface
  • Best for people seeking a versatile option that can adapt to their space
  • Concrete countertops can be used both indoors and outdoor
Cons
  • Very heavy, so an adequate support system is needed
  • Require frequent sealing to prevent stains and maintain their non-porous structure
  • Tend to form small cracks over time

Wood

This is one of the best kitchen countertop materials that offer a warm and inviting ambiance. Wood commercial bar tops are available in various colors and grains, offering a perfect fit for any space. They can be made in two styles – edge grain and end grain. Edge grains are parallel to one another, while end grains are usually in many shades of wood and they form a checkerboard pattern.
Pros
Visually enticing and offer great appeal to the restaurant space
  • When sealed properly, wood countertops are easy to clean and resistant to bacteria
  • They are biodegradable
Cons
  • Wood swells and contracts when it absorbs moisture, making the countertop to look unattractive and imbalance
  • The countertops must be sealed and sanded frequently for guaranteed protection from moisture, germs, and to retain the appealing appearance

Factors to Consider When Choosing the Right Countertops

Countertops are a major investment in the restaurant business. When chosen correctly, they will last for years and contribute to the performance of the business. Whether furnishing a new restaurant or renovating, these are the factors to consider when choosing restaurant counters:

Durability

This refers to the countertop’s ability to withstand the daily rigors associated with their use, such as scratches, stains, spills, dents, rusts, heat, corrosion, and moisture. Consider the activities that will be done on the counter and choose wisely. For example, if a lot of cutting or heat-related projects will be done, choose a surface that can withstand these harsh conditions.
For countertops used in commercial applications and high-traffic areas, select those made with extremely strong materials like solid surfaces, granite, stainless steel, and quartz that can stand against daily wear and tear.

Maintenance

Some homeowners and business operators prefer bar countertops that require low maintenance, so they don’t have to sacrifice many hours of the day to clean them. Low-maintenance countertops are also important so that workday operations won’t be interrupted when it’s time for repair or resealing.
On the other hand, some homeowners and business operators don’t pay much attention to maintenance. Rather, they are more focused on the stability and style that come with the countertops even though they require higher maintenance.

Cost

When considering the cost, don’t focus on the initial price of the commercial bar tops. Evaluate the ongoing care and maintenance costs. Also, put some money aside for miscellaneous, which will serve as a cost for repairs, resurfacing, and resealing. Know that some countertops require specific care products with instructions, and some others may be prone to damage. All these factors should be considered before collating the budget.
Additionally, the budget allocated for different restaurants will be different depending on the space, concept, and overall design. And the counter’s cost varies since they are made of different materials and features that may increase the cost.

Style

Consider the overall theme, décor, and branding of the restaurant. Different materials offer varying styles, such as sleek and modern looks or rustic and traditional looks. For instance, stainless steel restaurant counters can offer a contemporary and professional look, while granite offers a flashy design and a touch of elegance. So, it’s crucial to choose countertops that match the restaurant design scheme.
Style and appearance go hand-in-hand to influence how diners perceive restaurants. The bar countertops should look clean and reflect the uniqueness of the establishment. Note that some counter materials like wood change their looks as they age. However, this can be fixed by frequently resurfacing and resealing them to look new.

Heat Resistance

In restaurants, countertops will surely come in contact with hot pans, pots, or cooking appliances. Therefore, they need to be resistant to heat if they must last long and function optimally. Check for a commercial bar counter made with heat-resistant materials like solid surface, granite, or stainless steel that are known for their capability to withstand high temperatures without warping or discoloration.
On the other hand, a material like quartz is quite good at resisting heat, but it is incomparable to other materials. There are some levels of high temperatures where quartz countertops will fail.

Essential Elements of Bar or Food Service Counters

While choosing the best counter for a restaurant, don’t just focus on the type of material or the durability, maintenance, cost, style, or heat resistance. Check for the other sections included, such as storage cabinets, waste disposal, display shelves of barware, and other essential fit-outs.

Storage Cabinets

Storage cabinets are essential for properly storing food and drinks, as well as appliances that are used in the restaurant. Different types of food and drinks have a set of needs. For example, beers and cold drinks need to be kept in the refrigerator, as they are best served cold. While wine needs to be kept in a warm temperate like counter cabinets.
The size and number of cabinets the counter must have depend on the quantity of beverage that needs to be stored for quick access. Also, how the cabinets are arranged also matters if determining how easy the drinks will be easy to access.

Waste Disposal

Another essential element of bar or food service counters is waste disposal, which needs to be easily accessible to maintain cleanliness. The size and location of the waste storage should be made judging from the seating pattern and capacity of the restaurant.
For improved functionality, the countertop can be constructed to have waste holes. This ensures that scraps are easily discarded into the holes for efficient waste disposal, which helps staff avoid walking all the way to the trash cans at regular intervals. And waste bins should be placed at every corner of the building so that customers can easily dispose of scraps.

Display Shelves of Barware

One of the most intriguing and captivating components of a bar is the display shelves, especially if they are made with transparent glasses with an inner light to showcase the content of the shelves. It is best they are attached to the restaurant counters to create visual appeal to customers and help them make a quick decision on their order.
On the other hand, commercial bar counter racks that allow glasses to hang upside down can also be considered for efficient wine serving and a clean, industrial look.

Other essential Fit-Outs

Some other elements that can be included in the bar or food service counters are the dishwasher, microwave, fridge, etc. These appliances will help improve the efficiency and performance of staff in serving the customers well.

Other Accessory Options that Perfect Your Countertops

Having talked about the essential elements that perfect countertops, let’s discuss the additional accessory options that can further enhance countertops’ perfection.

Lighting

Countertops with proper lighting are more beautiful and visually appealing to both servers and clients. Also, they create a safe, functional, and comfortable environment, which promotes the image of the restaurant. Installing overhead lights help provide adequate lighting for servers to work, and recessed downlights directly above the countertop center bring out the beauty of the countertop, including the design and pattern of the material.

Bar Sinks

These are low-height sinks that are installed under the commercial bar counter to help servers prepare drinks or wash glassware. They are commonly made from durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and can come with insulated ice chests or racks that provide easy access to bottles needed by bartenders to prepare drinks.

Cabinetry Hardware

While good-looking restaurant countertops are always a sight to behold, the hardware that goes into its production is very important to its underlying durability, maintenance, cost, style, and heat resistance. KKR’s restaurant counters are made using only solid surface materials and they remain 100% functional regardless of years of usage and environment.

3 Ways to Design the Perfect Bar Countertop

With so many materials and essential elements available, there is a great chance to customize countertops to be exceptionally stunning. Creating a high aesthetic value commercial bar counter can result in the overall success of the restaurant.

Choose Unique Bar Top Material

The first noticeable part of a bar counter for a restaurant is the top. The material used to make the top goes a long way in affecting the appearance of the counter. While most people automatically think of stone as the best material, there are other options, such as solid surface, granite, marble, stainless steel, etc. The chosen material should blend with the ambiance of the bar.

Determine Appropriate Counter Height

Consider how high the counter will be and how comfortable diners will feel when seating. The counter should be constructed to accommodate various barstool heights and offer an ergonomic workspace for bartenders. Basically, the standard height for bar counters is 40-42 inches i.e., 101-107 cm. However, this can be altered based on specific reasons, such as the average height of the bartenders or the style of barstools used.

Create a Design with Curved Edges

When designing commercial bar tops, there is no limitation on the type of edges to use. Other than using straight lines, the bar tops can be shaped to be curvy to be more eye-catching and unique. The degree of curvature can vary, ranging from subtle curves to more pronounced arcs depending on the desired aesthetics and space available.

2024.05.23 03:21 mikeweasy I was late to work and got sent home

At my new job at a movie theater. I got there 8 minutes late, I walk in sign in and apologize to the manager that was there. She did look kind of upset but she told me to go get ready with my coworker. I talk to my coworker at the concession stand for a few minutes but then the manager walks up and says she is sending me home for the day. I assume she called the main manager and got it okayed. She did imply it was because I was late today but also another reason was because Wednesday is usually a really slow day, and they only really need one person on the concession stand.
She said something like "We are gonna take it easy on our payroll today" and that kind of ticked me off honestly. Like she might as well have said "we cant afford to have you hear today so get the hell out of here". I then signed out and left.
Like yes I feel bad for being late and I apologized when I got in. Another thing I forgot to mention was she said she did not know I was coming in today, which is really weird.
I really do not like getting sent home since it reminds me of my very first job where the manager did that a lot and then he fired me, because he is a horrendous POS.
Again though it was likely because today is usually a slow day, so there was that. BUT it did feel like she was punishing me for being late.
Well from now on I will be there ON TIME no matter what!

2024.05.23 02:15 Noanimalpoopinhouse2 Annoying Dog owner and Stupid Rat Dog

This was infuriating. I quickly walked my grandchild up to the porch to her piano lesson. A man came up just behind me with an ugly little white poodle type dog. He is standing on the steps with 2-3 kids. I am standing waiting for him, his beast and kids to move. I looked for another way out but there wasn’t one. One of his kids went inside. He is still just standing with the pos dog in my way but I had a little space to get through. So I went down the steps. The ugly rat screeched it’s lungs out at me and lunged at me. The idiot owner didn’t do any thing. My ears hurting, I rushed back to the car. This neighborhood is filled with dogs and dog walkers. Ugh.

2024.05.23 01:15 guiltyofnothing “I’m a prolific member of the community who is widely respected and verified at 5’4 I have multiple posts with hundreds of upvotes, widely supported by the mods and cherished here.” A user in /r/shortguys rails against tall men in the sub

The Context

/shortguys is a sub for, well, short guys to discuss “all aspects of height, heightism, and how it affects us in all areas of life.”
A user posts a text post decrying tall people who come into the sub offering sympathy to shorter men as insincere.
His post in full is below:
Can we all stop praising the tall pieces of shit that come here pretending to care?
This sub always mocks /short for simping tall guys, but without fail, every week there’s at least one person claiming to be tall posting a wall of text apologizing or pretending to understand or care about what we go through.
Honestly, who are these people confusing? They have literally zero reason to care about what deal with. Even if they did, there’s nothing they can do. Ironically enough, this is one topic they can talk about and slits and normies still won’t care. They'll continue to see us as subhuman and treat us accordingly, while the tall pos will continue to reap their undeserved social benefits.
People here need to wise up. THESE PEOPLE DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOU. TELL THEM TO DO NOTHING MORE THAN TO EAT SHIT AND FUCK OFF.
The post isn’t well received by all, with some tall user chiming in to defend their participation in the sub and things escalate from there.

The Drama:

Someone has a take, which leads to a slapfight and demands for others to kneel:
I only praise tall guys if they castrate themselves
They deserve to pass their genes on more than us manlets sadly
Bro why you under every comment sucking off tall dudes lol, just go to tall atp
You’re pathetic. Get a fucking grip.
Tall dudes usually have higher grip strength so even if I did get a “grip”, a tall guy could just effortlessly overpower me like what alphas do to betas
[Continued:]
Can we ban this guy already?
For what? Plus I’m taller than you and you’re being rude
What a fucking loser lol. Everyone point and laugh at this guy
Laugh at what? A 5’3 guy being aggressive to a member of this sub? I have an inch on him and he’s mad. Jesus.
“You have an inch on him”… and? Are you trying to imply you’re superior to him because of that? You’re on a forum for short men. He is a protected class here. You are actually inferior to HIM here, because he’s shorter.
And I can say that because I have an inch on you, so you need to shut the fuck up and obey me. Cuck bitch.
You’re pathetic.
[Continued:]
What are you crying about? I literally have an inch on you and you’re mad. Jesus.
I wear size 14 shoe, for all intents and purposes I have a tall man frame. You probably don’t even carry the tall genetics like I do
For all intents and purposes I am taller than you, bitch. Kneel.
Haha okay buddy. Cope more.
I’m a legit 5’4 barefoot evening. You’re probably a 5’5 morning in air forces coper
Haha
“Cope more”
I’m taller than you. You are inferior to me. Kneel.
[Continued:]
Mods can we buy this guy? He’s prob not even 5’5
mods should ban me for posting exactly the same stuff you’re posting? And acting like you do? 😂
Yeah but I’m a prolific member of the community who is widely respected and verified at 5’4”
I have multiple posts with hundreds of upvotes, widely supported by the mods and cherished here.
You’re a nobody, and probably 6ft 5 instead of 5ft 5 and just lying to put down short kings.
“Prolific member of the community” that repeatedly tries to humiliate men shorter than him and constantly puts down short men in general by calling them betas. Lol. I don’t respect you at all and neither do the hordes of people who downvoted your posts😂
Why would I put myself down you fucking idiot?
Most of my stuff is satire , with some truth mixed in.
[Continued:]
“Satire” lol no it isn’t, you’re some shitty 4chan troll pretending to be short as a psy-op
One user takes issue with OOP:
Yeah you literally told me to eat shit and fuck off yesterday. But has it ever crossed your mind that some of „us“ care bc there‘s a fair share of people in our lives that mean a lot to us, who also happen to be short? Yes, I am unable to comprehend your circumstances and where you‘re coming from so I don’t have any right to tell you to fix your attitude. Still, stop making it look like every and any sympathy towards a group of people that one doesn‘t belong to is fake. As if caring about social injustice was so damn absurd.
It looks fake, because of all the virtue signaling that is going on. If you really want to empathize with the group, then why not spread the message and try to help short men in a genuine way. Otherwise, nothing gets done.
I get that and I understand that it kind of looks like that most of the time. Of course standing up for short guys shouldn’t be limited to reddit, where you actually get feedback (or praise) for your words. It means nothing if it isn’t an attitude that you apply to your everyday life and in conversations with others, regardless of the presence of someone actually affected. I‘m also open to input as to how I can do better!
How you can do better?
Start by getting the fuck off this board. You don’t belong and you are unwanted.
I am able to accept that you and some others see it like that. However, me posting on this subreddit is in accordance with the rules. „While everyone of all heights are welcome to post in this subreddit, your posts and comments must be respectful of short guys. Denying the existence of heightism, using anecdotes to undermine the experiences of short men/ scientific studies, and humble-bragging about your height (or your partner's height) will result in a ban.“
[Continued:]
I really don’t care whether the rules say you’re allowed to be here or not - even though you are concern trolling and violating the rules anyway (Rule 8).
The point is you disgust the vast majority of people here, your presence is unwanted, and the right thing to do would be to fuck off. If you don’t want to do that, don’t pretend like you give a shit about the people here or “helping” them.
Feel free to prove your remark about me concern trolling. When did I do that? Apparently you just not buying it makes me a troll.
And I‘d certainly leave for good if a majority of members in this group made it clear that I am not welcome to be here. But that has not been the case so far. It‘s kinda unfair to suggest that I don‘t care at all, just because I‘m unwilling to submit to the demand of a singular member, who believes I shouldn‘t be here.
Your every reply is downvoted below zero. Take the hint and fuck off.
How about you tell me in an objective way what your concern with me participating in this subreddit is, since I can’t recall having displayed heightism or disrespectful commentary here or elsewhere on reddit. Also, based on my previous interactions, what you just said isn‘t even true. Simply telling me to fuck off or implying I‘m a troll without any clues does not at all help me understand why I am not supposed to be here.
The objective reason you shouldn’t be here is that you aren’t welcome, and the empirical proof is that all your posts are downvoted into the negatives.
Other than that, you are a concern troll who is only here for social brownie points. Your input is worthless and in no way improves the quality of life of short men, the people who this board is for. Your kind have a board - go there and talk to them about their heightism. I’m sick of idiots who don’t belong polluting this space with their fake ass “concern” and digital hand wringing that accomplishes nothing.
If you REALLY gave a fuck, you’d be confronting heightists on other boards instead of looking for pats on the back from short men here. Fuck off
The mere fact that you decide to display your height as 6ft2 in a flair and not leave it blank tells me more about your intentions then billions of your empty comments.
[…]
Without white sympathizers, blacks would have never gotten equal rights.
Without male sympathizers, women would have never been allowed to vote.
Without straight people taking their side, gays would have never gotten mainstream acceptance.
You actually want to improve things for short men? Biting at the only people that can actually make a difference out of pure spite certainly won't help. Tall men are the only ones that can call out heightist behavior and actually be taken seriously. It's not fair, but when you look at history, that's just how it is. NO GROUP of disadvantaged people get traction on their own without support from the opposing team.
So live spitefully if you want. But you're only wallowing in the misery and actively perpetuating heightism by doing so.
Wow, where do I even begin with this stupid ass, self-important bullshit?
First of all, “blacks” can and have obtained equal rights without “white sympathizers” - examples include Haiti and literally every African democracy on earth, you stupid fuck.
Not even going to bother addressing women and homosexuals, because your post is ignoring the inconvenient (for you) fact that whites, men and straights were the reason the other groups didn’t have rights in the first place. You fucking moron. You don’t get to take credit for “helping” to solve a problem you created in the first place. I only have a problem because fuckface parasites like you have privileges you didn’t earn. It’s your fault there’s a problem in the first place. You don’t get credit for “helping” to solve the problem. It’s your moral and ethical responsibility to do it while shutting your fucking mouth and not expecting a cookie and a pat on the back for it. Otherwise, fuck off.
And to be clear - talls like you aren’t the social majority. “Short” people are the global AND local majority everywhere on earth. The majority does not “need” the minority. Black people in America weren’t able to single-handedly secure their rights because they were and are less than 15% of the population. Talls like you are in the 6th percentile. You are not needed for short men to stop being oppressed.
First of all, “blacks” can and have obtained equal rights without “white sympathizers” - examples include Haiti and literally every African democracy on earth, you stupid fuck.
First, I was obviously talking about the civil rights movement in America. Of course Black countries have rights for blacks because... they are all already black? Haiti gained their rights on their own, correct. By overthrowing and brutally murdering the fuck out of their French oppressors, which sounds about like what you would like to do, judging by this unhinged reply, which brings me to my second point: Jesus, you need to calm down.
whites, men and straights were the reason the other groups didn’t have rights in the first place
Yup. World isn't fair. And you know what? They needed sympathizers to fix it. And it got fixed as a direct result of those sympathizers. Without them, guess what? Nothing would have changed.
You fucking moron.
Calm down.
When, in my post, did I ask for a cookie? All I asked is that you don't lose your mind like a raving lunatic and spit in the face of someone trying to right the wrong you are so spiteful about. Common courtesy =/= I want your eternal gratitude for saving you from my tyranny.
Otherwise, fuck off.
Seriously, what's your problem?
And to be clear - talls like you aren’t the social majority. “Short” people are the global AND local majority everywhere on earth. The majority does not “need” the minority. Black people in America weren’t able to single-handedly secure their rights because they were and are less than 15% of the population. Talls like you are in the 6th percentile. You are not needed for short men to stop being oppressed.
Us being a minority has nothing to do with whether or not we are required to stop heightism. In this case, the majority absolutely does need the minority, because otherwise women would already be taking your complaints seriously. How else are you going to stop heightism if no one is going to listen to your problems? There is literally no other viable way other than genociding everyone taller than you.
A discussion of another’s sexuality ensues:
Anyone else find it kind of attractive tho or is that just me 😂😂
Definitely just you, but this post of yours tells me enough about your mindset
I don’t mean it in a gay way, I’m not gay. I’m just thinking it’s likely.
When you’re out about and a guy 2-3x your size looks down on you, you don’t get that tingling feeling?
You need to have an honest convo with yourself about your sexuality lol
“I’m not gay” proceeds to say the gayest shit I’ve seen all week 😂😂
How’s it gay?
It’s natural if you see an animal bigger than you, you submit either for dominance reasons (because in nature you wouldn’t want to get killed / eaten) or mating reasons (wanting to take / experience their genes)
I’m actually gay and even I don’t feel that way.
Oh idk then, yeah I’m not gay but sometimes when a tall guy stands behind me I get that tingle
[Continued:]
“That tingle” is the gayest shit I’ve ever read lmao, sounds like you getting a boner bro
How?
You literally called it attractive lmao
A tall person chimes in, and is shouted down:
Hi I'm 6'4. I'm not apologizing for my height at all. I didn't choose it anymore than you did. Also we don't see you as subhuman, and really don't care about your height, at least not nearly as much as you do. We can sympathize, but obviously not empathize. But you personally, seem really angry. Like wow dude. If you wake up like this you're gonna have a shitty day no matter your height. You can't change your height, just your attitude.
Hi I’m 5’5”. Get the fuck off my board, you piece of shit.
You're such a bad ass on the Internet. 😁
Have a great day tiger.
Wow, just like you, huh dipshit? Fuck you very much.
Hahahahaha stay classy homie 😂
Will you give up sex forever to put your "sympathy" in action not just lame words.
How would that help anyone? Would you cut off a hand to sympathize with the handless?
And I really only sympathize with not being able to reach stuff. Other than that, I see you as an equal.
How would that help anyone?
Straight women will consider short guys as sexual males. You guys have lived in enough privilege.
Would you cut off a hand to sympathize with the handless?
If I experienced equivalent privilege as a tall guy.
Other than that, I see you as an equal.
Denial of privilege is very common among gifted scums who come here pretending to have a soul
I guess stay angry then, kinda seems like that's what makes you happy.
Privileged's suffering makes me happy
[Continued:]
Sounds like you've got life figured out then. Enjoy.

Whether you're looking for a budget-friendly getaway or a luxurious escape, understanding when each country's peak season starts and ends will help you plan accordingly. Here are three key points to consider when choosing when to travel:
Weather conditions - Depending on where you’re going, the weather has a huge impact on the quality of your experience. For instance, if you’re visiting somewhere in Europe during wintertime, be sure that your destination isn’t prone to heavy snowfall or icy temperatures. On the other hand, if your destination is known for its hot climate, try booking your trip after the rainy season has ended so that you don’t miss out on all the fun!
Flight prices - Being aware of airlines' seasonal pricing structure can save you hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars off your total cost. Similarly, keep an eye out for any holiday discounts offered by carriers as these specials usually pop up around major holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving. By doing some research beforehand, you'll be able to find great deals throughout the year!
Local events - Taking part in cultural celebrations and local festivals can add a unique touch to your travels abroad. Be sure to check with tourist information offices and regional websites before booking anything – this way, no matter what month you decide to go away, there’s always something new waiting just around the corner!
No matter what type of traveler you are – whether solo adventurer or family explorer – taking into account these three factors allows for maximum enjoyment while also keeping costs down at the same time. What Is The Cost Of Accommodation In Each Of These Countries?
Planning a trip abroad doesn't have to break the bank. But it's essential for travelers to know what kind of accommodation costs they can expect in their destination country. This article will discuss three key questions about cost of accommodation in each of these countries:
What type of lodging is available?
How much should you plan to spend?
Are there any budget-friendly options?
When traveling, having different types of accommodations makes all the difference. Hotels and hostels are classic options that many people choose when staying in a foreign land. Most hotels offer amenities like onsite restaurants, pools, and fitness centers that make your stay more enjoyable. Hostels provide basic bunk beds or private rooms with shared bathrooms at an affordable rate - perfect for saving money while still experiencing the sights and sounds of a new place!
The amount you'll pay for your stay depends largely on where you choose to rest your head. For example, luxury hotel suites may set you back hundreds of dollars per night, whereas hostel dorms typically range from $10-$25 USD depending on the location. There are also budget-friendly alternatives such as Airbnb apartments which often come with benefits like free WiFi, kitchenettes, and other must-have features - making them especially attractive to those looking to save some cash.
No matter what type of traveler you are - whether looking for something luxurious or just wanting to experience something new without breaking the bank - understanding the cost associated with accommodation options is key to planning an unforgettable journey abroad! What Are The Visa Requirements For Entry Into Each Of These Countries?
When planning a trip, it's important to know the visa requirements for entry into each country. Depending on your nationality and purpose of travel, you may need to obtain a visa in advance or at the border prior to your arrival. This can be particularly tricky if traveling to multiple countries since some countries have stricter regulations than others.
If you're from a country with diplomatic relations with a particular nation, chances are you don't need any special documents or visas before entering that country. However, this is not always the case - especially when it comes to emerging nations that tend to have more relaxed rules about travel. For example, citizens of European Union member states do not require visas for most destinations around the world. But if you're traveling outside Europe or beyond certain destinations within Europe, then obtaining an appropriate visa will become essential before making any arrangements with hotels and airline bookings.
In order to make sure all goes smoothly during your travels abroad, research ahead of time what type of visas you'll need depending on where you plan to go and how long you intend to stay there. It's best to check out official government websites as they often contain updated information regarding their policies toward travelers from different parts of the globe. Additionally, there might be additional steps required such as medical examinations or other forms of documentation depending on your destination so prepare everything beforehand in order to avoid any hassles along the way!
No matter which part of the world you choose for your next adventure, being well-informed about its corresponding visa requirements will help ensure smooth sailing throughout your journey!
Conclusion
Conclusively, if you're looking to travel on a budget and still have an incredible experience, there are plenty of great options! The best time of year to visit these countries depends on what kind of attractions and experiences you're after. Accommodation in each country is quite affordable, ranging from hostels to luxury villas. When it comes to the top tourist attractions, there's something for everyone - historical sites, natural wonders, cultural activities, and more! And when it comes to getting around each country, there are several transport options depending on your destination. Finally, visa requirements vary according to the country so be sure to double-check before booking any trips.
So why not give one of these amazing destinations a try? With careful planning and research, you can create an unforgettable vacation that won't break the bank. From sightseeing in stunning landscapes to experiencing new cultures firsthand, traveling doesn't need to be expensive or complicated – just take some time out for yourself and explore somewhere beautiful!

The Ford Corcel, Ford Belina, Ford Del Rey and Ford Pampa. The history of a Brazilian car, made by an American brand and with French origins. Long post.
THE BEGINNING: The Corcel is a medium-sized automobile produced by Ford in Brazil, from 1968 to 1986. Willys Overland do Brasil in a partnership with Renault were involved in a project for a new passenger car, a project that became known at the time as "Project M" which years later, in France became the Renault 12 and in Brazil gave rise to the Ford Corcel, due to the purchase of Willys Overland do Brasil by Ford in 1967, with this, all Willys do Brasil projects and vehicles are now controlled by Ford. "Project M" "Project M", now managed by Ford, is now called Ford Corcel and thanks to Ford, the vehicle project undergoes a series of improvements to adapt to the terrible driving conditions in Brazil.
THE ENGINES AND OTHER THINGS:
·1.3 RENAULT ENGINE (1968): Under the hood, the Corcel was equipped with a 1300 cc four-cylinder Renault engine. This engine developed 68 hp and 9.8 kg/m or 6.58 lb/ft of torque. This power, combined with the weight of 945 kg or 2083 pounds, allowed the car to go from 0 - 100 km/h or 0 - 62 mph in 23 seconds and reach a top speed of 129 km/h or 80.15 mph. One thing that was highly praised about the car was its consumption, averaging 10 km/l or 23.5 mpg in the city and 13.4 km/l or 31.5 mpg on the highway. The Ford Corcel had good safety by Brazilian standards at that time, the car had things like the split steering column, allowing it to deform and not hurt the driver too much in a crash, the hood opening forward, making that, even if the driver leaves it open, the force of the wind will not allow it to open and block the driver's view, the brakes, which were already efficient, could be improved with the optional disc brakes instead of drums, the Corcel also came with a sealed cooling circuit, being the first Brazilian car to feature this feature.
·IMPROVED 1.3 RENAULT ENGINE (1969 - 1971 CORCEL GT): Under the hood, the 1969 Corcel GT's engine was still the same 1.3 from Renault, but certain improvements to the package increased power to 80 hp and torque to 10 kg/m or 6.71 lb/ft. With this power, the Corcel GT did 0 - 100 km/h or 0 - 62 mph in 20 seconds and reached a top speed of 138 km/h or 85.7 mph.
·1.4 RENAULT GT-XP ENGINE (1972 CORCEL GT-XP): The engine, still of Renault origin, now has 1400 cc and has several improvements that made it develop 85 hp and 11.6 kg/m or 7.79 lb/ft of torque. This made the Corcel GT-XP go from 0 - 100 km/h or 0 - 62 mph in 16.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 144 km/h or 89.4 mph.
·1.4 RENAULT ENGINE (1973 CORCEL): Another new feature was the 1.4 engine with 75 hp and 11.6 kg/m or 7.79 lb/ft, which became standard for all versions.
·MODIFIED 1.4 RENAULT ENGINE (1978 CORCEL II): The Corcel II was equipped with the same 1.4 Renault engine as the first generation Corcel, but with power reduced to 72 hp. With these modifications, the new Corcel II accelerated from 0 - 100 km/h or 0 - 62 mph in 17.2 seconds and reached a top speed of 150 km/h or 93.2 mph. The Corcel II averaged 8.5 km/l or 19.9 mpg in the city and up to 13 km/l or 30.5 mpg on the highway.
·1.6 ENGINE AND 5-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION (CORCEL II GT 1979): The 1.6 engine and 5-speed manual transmission become standard in this version. This engine developed 90 hp and 13 kg/m or 8.73 lb/ft of torque. This engine combined with the new 5-speed gearbox made the Corcel II GT accelerate from 0 - 100 km/s or 0 - 62 mph in 15.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 151 km/h or 93.8 mph.
DESIGN / FACELIFTS / NEW GENERATIONS;
·FIRST DESIGN (1968): The Ford Corcel stood out on its debut for presenting a beautiful appearance, made up of straight lines, with emphasis on its front, which was marked by creases on the hood and by the chrome grille with horizontal friezes, highlighting the raised central part so that could follow the creases of the hood, the circular headlights were accompanied by the driving lights located at the bottom of the grille. Below the assembly was the chrome bumper with the space for the license plate in the center. On its side, the look is marked by the charm of the four-door sedan body and the crease that runs along the entire side of the car, the 13-inch wheels were accompanied by chrome hubcaps. At the rear, the highlight is the rectangular-shaped taillights and the chrome bumper. Another highly praised detail of its design was the large glass area, which favored visibility in all directions.
·FIRST FACELIFT (1971): In 1971, the Corcel received its first restyling, with a new grille with horizontal and vertical friezes and a new emblem in the center, the driving lights are now located below the bumper, and at the rear the only new feature is the four square-shaped taillights, two on each side.
SECOND FACELIFT (1973): In 1973, the Corcel underwent a new facelift, this time much deeper and concentrated mainly on the front of the car, it gained a new hood, with a more aerodynamic design, in addition to a new grille with vertical friezes, a new emblem in the center and new headlight frames, the license plate left the bumper and began to be positioned below it, while the driving lights gained a new design, at the rear the lanterns gained a new design, having a rectangular shape and having reverse lights integrated with them. Inside the car, the only new feature is the dashboard which, regardless of the version, was only offered in a matte black colour.
·THIRD FACELIFT (1975): For the year 1975, the Corcel received a new facelift, with a lower hood that had the logo at the center and the Ford name on the right, a new grille, now made of plastic with horizontal stripes, new hubcaps, split tail lights and an gauge cluster with square dials.
·THE NEW GENERATION FORD CORCEL II (1977): The new second generation Corcel arrived with a beautiful look that followed the trend of the time, made up of straight lines and a two-door body with a fastback style rear, in addition, it is also worth highlighting the new look of its front, made up of headlights rectangular and new driving lights located at the ends next to the headlights, in the center the new engine cooling grille was painted in black and had the Ford logo in the center, but the main highlight of this new grille came from the aerodynamic design. of its horizontal blades, which provided a more intense air flow even at lower speeds, while the bumper, depending on the version, could be painted black or chrome. This new generation lost the option of a four-door body due to the fact that at that time, Brazilians only preferred cars with two doors, but to facilitate access when getting in or out of the vehicle, the most efficient solution was to adopt huge doors, which helped even the rear seat occupants. The main highlight at the rear of this sedan is the smooth fit of the C column, which went all the way to the trunk lid, while the license plate came out of the bumper and is positioned between the rear lights, which have a cleaner, more rectangular design. Inside, the new Corcel was more luxurious and sophisticated, featuring a fully carpeted interior and reclining front seats. The new panel was marked by a beautiful look that followed the trend of the time. Made entirely of plastic and with details such as a radio in the center and two rectangular ventilation outlets at the ends. The instrument panel had information in three circular markers, the first with a speedometer, the second, in the center, with an analog clock and the third with a fuel level marker and warning lights.
·1979 TWEAKS: In 1979 the car was slightly modified, gaining new transparent front lights and new rear lights with a beaded design in addition to a new four-spoke steering wheel for the LDO version. In addition to new options such as 5-speed gearbox, headlight washers and a new 1.6 engine.
·1980 TWEAKS: In 1980, the Ford Corcel II received new bumpers with plastic tips, a coolant temperature marker and options such as radial tires, three-point seat belts and a smoked sunroof, while the GT version gets a red trim next to the black paintwork.
1982: In 1982, the Corcel II line received improvements to the gearbox and suspension, in addition to a new central console with digital clock and air conditioning, which was only offered as an option.
1984: In 1984 the Ford Corcel II received new headrests and a new two-spoke steering wheel.
VARIANTS;
·CORCEL TWO DOOR COUPE (1969): The Corcel began to be a great success, and because of this Ford decided to expand the options in 1969, and the first of them was the two-door coupé version, standing out for its sportier look, thanks to the look of the rear side with lines reminiscent of muscle cars and the rear part of the roof that had a smooth slope to the height of the trunk. Another reason why this version was highly acclaimed was the fact that at that time Brazilians had a great preference for cars with just two doors.
TRIM LEVELS;
·CORCEL STANDARD: Initially the Ford Corcel was only available in the most basic version, called Standard. It had a simple but well-finished interior, with emphasis on the internal space, enough to seat 5 people in relative comfort, thanks to the one-piece seats and good wheelbase. The dashboard also had a simple design, with a glove box, ashtray and radio. The gauge cluster only had the essentials for the time, that is: fuel level gauge, speedometer, engine temperature gauge and warning lights. The huge steering wheel has two spokes, and the transmission was a four-speed manual with a lever on the floor.
·CORCEL LUXO (1969): In 1969 the luxury version of the Corcel was released. It had a more sophisticated finish, with details such as trims, various chrome parts, new interior linings, individual front seats with reclining backrests and a panel with new details such as a padded upper part and applications that imitate rosewood.
·CORCEL GT (1969): Launched in 1969 and aimed at a younger audience, the Corcel GT was only available in a two-door coupe version. It had details such as a vinyl roof with the GT logo on the C-pillar, stripes on the sides, black paint on the hood and rear, fog lights, and claws with a rubberized finish on the bumpers. Inside, the GT version featured a new three-spoke sports steering wheel, forced ventilation with two speeds and a complete gauge cluster with: speedometer, rev counter, oil level gauge, fuel level gauge, engine temperature gauge and a voltmeter for the battery.
·CORCEL GT (1971 FACELIFT): The GT version also received a facelift to accompany the others, with high beam headlights embedded in the grille, the grille was even painted in black and had the GT emblem in the center, the hood was also painted matte black and had a fake air vent in the center.
·CORCEL GT-XP (1972): In 1972, the Corcel GT gained a new name and more improvements, such as new wheels with a sporty design, new side stripes, while the markers, previously located in the central part of the panel, were now grouped together on the new central console.
·CORCEL GT-XP (1973): The Corcel GT-XP brought new visual features such as new rectangular headlights integrated into the grille, new side stripes, and two stripes on the hood, similar to those of the Ford Mustang.
·CORCEL LDO (1975): In 1975 was the even more luxurious version called LDO and stood out for presenting a more sophisticated finish, with a vinyl roof, chrome trim on the wheel arches, painted filets on the sides and the same sports wheels as the GT-XP version but without the black paintwork. Inside, it gained new interior linings, dashboard and seats in brown and beige and an exclusive steering wheel.
·CORCEL GT-XP (1975): The Corcel GT-XP only received aesthetic updates, such as new stripes on the sides and hood and new exterior mirrors.
·CORCEL II STANDARD (1978): This version of the Corcel II came without side moldings, had bumpers painted black and came with wheels that had a closed central core.
·CORCEL II L (1978): The intermediate version featured moldings in the middle of the side, chrome bumpers, wheels with a red central core or a crown design in the center.
·CORCEL II LDO (1978): The luxurious LDO version was equipped with chrome bumpers that had rubberized details, moldings at the bottom of the side and new wheels also with a red central core and a silver crown design in the center. The LDO version brought the charm of a monochromatic leather interior with applications that imitated rosewood.
·CORCEL II GT (1978): The new Corcel II GT had a look marked by black paint on the upper part of the body up to the C column, which was surrounded by fillets in yellow and red, black wheels with chrome over rims and high-flying headlights located below the bumper. Inside, the new features are the new three-spoke sports steering wheel, the rev counter on the instrument panel, and the new instrumentation on the central console, which included the oil level marker and the battery voltmeter. The engine was not changed, continuing with the same 72 hp as the other versions.
·CORCEL II GT (1979): This year the GT version undergoes improvements, such as new black stripes located on the lower part of the body, stiffer suspension and black bumpers.
·CORCEL II HOBBY (1980): It was in 1980 that the new version, called Corcel II Hobby, was launched. Aimed at a younger audience, the Hobby version stood out for its cooler look, marked by the bodywork without chrome details and the black wheels with chrome rims. Inside, this version featured red and black trim, the sports steering wheel of the GT version and an instrument panel with a silver finish.
·CORCEL II OS CAMPEÕES SPECIAL SERIES (1982): This special series featured details such as black paint with gold details, gold wheels, fog lights, black leather and black velvet interior, instrument panel with rev counter, digital clock on the center console, five-speed gearbox and options such as a sunroof, radio cassette player and air conditioning.
THE FORD DEL REY: The Del Rey was a Ford luxury sedan launched in the early 1980s and discontinued ten years later, having been replaced by the Versailles. It is a medium sedan, with three well-defined volumes, a choice of two or four doors and robust engines. The model was derived from the Corcel and in its line there was also the station wagon version, called Del Rey Scala and the Pampa pickup truck.
·BEFORE LAUNCH: Ford had a big problem to face in the late 1970s. With the new decade, Ford began to remodel its cars with modern designs coming from North America so as not to lose sales to more modern models. As the market was in crisis, it was not possible to invest well in a new model, an option taken in the 1970s when they brought the Ford Maverick to the American market, an option revealed to be wrong later, as the initial project was to bring the Ford Taunus. The solution was to call for the creation of a new model, but with an existing platform on the national market. The options were to create a car based on the four-door Maverick, increasing its rear space, which was the model's biggest problem, or to create a product based on the Corcel II platform, launched two years earlier.
In a clinic, two models were displayed to test consumer opinion, and the one chosen was the one that resembled the final design of the Ford Del Rey. A medium sedan, with three well-defined volumes, the option of two or four doors and an economical engine. , being the alternative to avoid higher costs. The model was based on the Ford Granada MKII models, a large model from English Ford manufactured at the same time, and the Ford Taunus, also from European Ford, but from Germany. They were very similar both front and rear, as well as the side, despite the Brazilian model being smaller.
·FIRST GENERATION (1981 - 1984): The Ford Del Rey debuted in mid-1981 and could be found in Gold and basic versions (popularly called "Silver"). It was a car with a refined finish, reminiscent of its older brother, the Ford Corcel under construction, but at the same time reminiscent of the good old Galaxie/Landau. The most complete version came as standard with items that were not common even in cars of its category, such as light alloy wheels, electric windows, electric door locks, rear view mirrors with internal control, velvet seats, fog lights, digital clock located on the central rear view mirror, among other things. The model received an automatic transmission as an option in 1983, and in 1984 it received the CHT engine, a revision of the old 1.6 engine of Renault origin that equipped the Corcel GT, and which was revised to equip the recently arrived Ford Escort. The engine did a lot of good for the model which, despite being economical, suffered during accelerations and restarts, and was the target of criticism from its owners, always losing in comparisons with the main competitors of its time, such as Chevrolet Opala, Volkswagen Santana and after 1985 , the Chevrolet Monza.
SECOND GENERATION (1985 - 1991): In 1985 Ford made some changes to the model, which would remain practically intact until the end of its life in mid-1991. The already tired sedan gained a new front, similar to that of the Ford Corcel, with a “grille” aerodynamics and a spoiler that served as a frame for the fog lights. The model began to have other names. The Silver and Gold were discontinued and the GL entered as a basic version, GLX as an intermediate and the Ghia as a top-of-the-line version. It lost the refinement of alloy wheels, but gained new items. The rim increased to 14 inches and was the first non-sports car in Brazil to use a 60 profile. The 1987 model featured electric rear-view mirrors. With the Ford Corcel leaving the line the previous year, Ford created the L version, with a more stripped-down finish, to fill the gap between the Escort and the Del Rey. In 1988 the model had no relevant changes.
With the merger of Volkswagen and Ford in 1987, Autolatina was created, a large company that came to dominate the market and almost cannibalized Ford of Brazil. The Del Rey was one of the few models that profited from this merger, as it gained the more modern AP 1.8 engine (which was equipped with the Volkswagen Santana). With a small performance gain, its top speed rose from 146 km/h to around 156 km/h, and its acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h went from 16.50 in the 1986 GLX version to around 13.88 seconds, due to the new gear reduction and small increase in power. The Del Rey received some mechanical changes, recalibrated springs at the rear to improve the “anti-dive” effect when accelerating and “anti-squat” when braking. The exterior mirror received a modified base in 1989. The last really notable difference between the models with the 1.6 and 1.8 engines was the consumption, which had increased slightly.
In 1991 the Del Rey was taken out of production. It is a model well remembered for the modernity it had in its time, as its bigger brother (Ford Landau) did not have many modern features (such as electric windows, electric locks and electric mirrors). Its replacement, the Ford Versailles, was not as successful due to its lack of charisma.
THE FORD BELINA: During the development of the M project (later named Corcel) in partnership with Renault, Willys-Overland do Brasil was studying the project of a station wagon/van to occupy the market niche left by the end of DKW-Vemag Vemaguet in 1967 At the same Volkswagen do Brasil was working on a similar project for a while, the Variant station wagon. After the purchase of Willys do Brasil by Ford, the M project continued to be developed. On August 26, 1968, the M project was presented at Clube Pinheiros in São Paulo during the Ford-Willys dealer convention. Named Corcel, the new vehicle was being launched on the market to compete with the VW Beetle. At the same event, Ford presented the prototype of a Corcel station wagon in September 1968. The first prototype of the Corcel station wagon was seen circulating around the factory in São Bernardo do Campo undergoing tests.
Ford even transported a prototype station wagon to its stand at the VI São Paulo Motor Show, with its management undecided about showing the model. In the end, the station wagon ended up not being shown. Instead of launching, Ford chose to carry out further tests of two models: two and four doors (never adopted for series production). The tests were carried out throughout 1969 on Estrada Velha de Santos.
The Ford Belina was launched on the market on March 3, 1970, approximately three months after the Volkswagen Variant.[6] After the launch of Variant and Belina, VW and Ford began an “advertising war” in the station wagon market, with each factory praising its product and criticizing its competitor. In the end, the German automaker prevailed with the argument of the simple and robust mechanics of the air engine (the same as the Volkswagen Beetle). Thus, the Variant's production was around six times greater than that of the Belina.
In one of the first tests carried out by the press, unusual wear was noticed on the Belina's front tires. An error was later discovered in the adjustment of the front suspension of the Corcel-Belina line, which forced Ford to call on all owners of Corcel-Belina line vehicles manufactured between 1969 and 1970 to come to Ford dealerships to have the suspension readjusted. Despite not requiring replacement of parts, this was considered the first recall in Brazil.
The bad reputation brought about by the problem affected Belina production, which went from 7831 (1970) to 5306 (1971) vehicles. The drop in production forced Ford to invest in the relaunch of the Corcel-Belina line in 1972. The main change for the Belina was the adoption of the 75 HP XP engine, replacing the original 68 HP. The production of mixed-use trucks (including station wagons) was encouraged by market acceptance. Between the first quarter of 1973 and 1975 there was a 26% growth in the production of mixed-use trucks (including station wagons) while car production in the country fell 3.9%.
In 1973 production reached almost thirteen thousand copies. The Belina went through a period of growth in production that did not change even with the launch of the Chevrolet Caravan on the market in 1975. Derived from the Opala, the Caravan station wagon began to compete with the Belina for the market. Thus, Ford adopted a second restyling of the Belina in 1975, with changes to the front and improvements in the design and the adoption of a gas shock absorber to support the trunk lid instead of the obsolete spring shock absorber it used. The arrival of the Caravan and the launch of the remodeled Belina put pressure on the Variant, which began to lose market share until it was discontinued in 1977. At the same time, the Belina project, derived from the Corcel, was feeling the weight of age (given that it was from the 1960) and needed replacement.
THE BELINA II: With the launch of the Chevrolet Chevette in Brazil (and the expectation of a future derivative station wagon launch), the announcement of FIAT's arrival in Brazil and the announcement of the launch of the Dodge 1800, Ford began studying changes to the Corcel line. Inherited from the acquisition of Willys-Overland do Brasil, the Corcel was a Renault project from the 1960s ready when it was taken over by Ford. At the end of 1973, the American multinational carried out the first restyling study of the Corcel. Belina, however, was not initially included because its competition was limited to the Variant. This later changed with the arrival of the Chevrolet Caravan and rumors of the production of a Dodge station wagon (which ended up not being released) and the Chevette station wagon. The redesigned Belina first appeared in print in October 1976.
In 1978, the Belina received a modern update, when it was renamed Belina II, incorporating the main changes of the Corcel II, with straight lines. The versions were the L, simpler, and luxurious LDO.
THE DEL REY SCALA: Derived from the Del Rey, the Scala was launched in 1983, being an evolution of the Belina. Available in a single version: Gold. With a superior finish, it introduced new equipment to the category: electric locks and windows, a ceiling console with a digital clock, reading lights and a panel that even had an oil pressure gauge. Air conditioning was optional. Initially, power steering was not offered, not even as an option. It was equipped with a 1.6 engine with 69 hp. In 1984 it received ventilated disc brakes at the front and its power increased slightly: 73 hp.
In 1985 it received a facelift, with a new front and interior changes. It was now offered in two versions: GLX and Ghia. In 1986 it received power steering and a CHT E-Max engine.
There was also a 4X4 version, launched in 1985 and discontinued in 1987, due to the high incidence of mechanical failures in the system.
In 1987, it was called Belina again. Its production lasted until 1991, when it was discontinued to make way for the Ford Royale. At that time, Belina's sales represented half of the Del Rey family.
FORD PAMPA: The Pampa was based on the second generation of the Corcel and was presented at the 1982 Motor Show, designed to compete with the Fiat Fiorino, Volkswagen Saveiro and Chevy 500.
In the 1984 model, the first changes occurred, receiving the CHT engine, more powerful and economical. The 1600 cm³ CHT engine had 75 HP on alcohol and 73 HP on gasoline, respectively allowing the Pampa to reach a maximum speed of 145 km/h and 140 km/h. The 4x4 model, launched in the same year together with the Belina 4x4, was equipped with a four-speed gearbox, a one-piece seat and also had a second fuel tank in the alcohol version, for an additional 40 liters. Its interior was much more basic than the pioneering 4x2 model.
In 1986, the basic, L and GL models came into existence, and in that same year the entire Pampa line received the front grille of the 4x4 version for the 1987 model. It was similar to the Del Rey, in addition to gaining the Ghia version with luxury items from the Del Rey Ghia model. These include a complete dashboard, windows and electric locks. Despite this, Pampa no longer has air conditioning, only offering hot air as an option.
The Pampa had always been the leader among light pickup trucks until then and continued in this situation until it was discontinued. In 1990 it received the VW AP-1800 engine, powering the L, GL and Ghia versions. The CHT 1.6 still remains in the L and GL 4x4 versions. The following year the S version arrives, much more sporty and complete, only coming with a 1800 cm³ engine and bringing standard items such as external hooks, protective rubbers for the edges of the bucket, day and night rear view mirror, optional power steering, individual adjustable seats , stylized wheels, personalized stripes on the sides, sliding rear window, front spoiler with built-in fog lights and other items found in the Ghia version, such as an electric trio.
In 1992 the Pampa received a new front grille, identical to that of the Del Rey, which production ended in 1991. Two years later it received an electronic carburetor (2E CE) for the 1800 cm³ engines. In 1995, the Ghia and Jeep GL 1.6 4x4 versions were discontinued, leaving only the L (1.6 and 1.8), GL (1.8) and S (1.8).
The Pampa ceased production in 1997, the model year in which the 1.8 engines were equipped with EEC-IV single-point electronic injection, becoming the best-selling automobile-derived pickup in the segment, exceeding 380,000 units sold. Even in the face of competitors with more modern designs such as the recently launched Corsa pick-up, the second generation of the Saveiro, the third generation of the Fiorino pick-up, and the first generation Hilux imported into Brazil, which was initially a small pick-up, and the Mazda B2200, the Pampa has always been a sales leader, extremely popular, robust and attracting a legion of fans across the country, it was succeeded by the Courier, which never had the same sales figures, and it is often possible to see more Pampas on the streets than Couriers .
TRIVIA;
·What is interesting is that although the Renault and Ford models had completely different designs, they shared the same platform, engines and wheels that had three holes and which became famous in Brazil for exactly this reason.
·The name Corcel, means Steed in Portuguese and was chosen as a homage to the Ford Mustang.

2024.05.22 22:03 Chemical_Control_349 Becoming a step parent young

Has anyone else become a step parent fairly young? When I think of step parent, I think of people early to mid 30’s that settled down but things didn’t work out with the first partner they settled down with. I was 23 when I became a step dad to two kids (SD3) and (SS4). Now, I’m not saying I came in and took on responsibilities 100% of a dad, but I certainly tried my best to be great to my gf/wife and her kids.
I guess my issue is I’m now almost 27 and I’m reflecting on the past 4 years. I was working near full time-full time, going to school full time, as well as keeping up this relationship and having two SKs. Due to mental health issues from family deaths and pain from “friends” I was really closed off and depressed until I was 20/21. I only had one gf prior… I’m looking back and feeling like I missed out on having fun at a young age and spending my free time in different ways, where I basically had no free time while in college.
Not to mention the absolute turmoil I was put through by my now wife at the start and 2.5-3 years into our relationship. I really am just resenting her and probably resenting myself and my decisions even more-so. Now nobody is perfect but sometimes (especially while watching movies or shows) it will come up that I am who she needed or dreamed of being with, but I look at her and don’t really feel that way because of the pain I feel. I feel like I’m on edge a lot because of things that have happened and I also feel like if she didn’t already have two kids prior, maybe she wouldn’t have even been with me. It’s difficult feeling like maybe I’m second choice or someone she “settled” for or maybe that’s what I did, idk. Her ex is a psycho pos, so maybe that’s a contributing factor.
We have two daughters together as well now and I love them to death, so I guess there’s that.

2024.05.22 21:52 Prestigious_Race_486 3 Narcs in one happy family- how to cope (long post)

Overcoming anger at NDAD N-UNCLE and N-Aunt Please help!
Hello and thank you for reading this will be a long one!
I have had the sheer luck of being born into a Narcissistic family structure. My grandparents had four kids my dad being the first of the four and my N-uncle being the last. My dad was always a problem child growing up, received a lot of negative attention for shooting up buildings with BB guns, etc.. at the age of 9 he requested my grandma to take his other siblings to the ocean and drown them. So you can see what type of guy we are dealing with here. My uncle being the last of the four also has been a complete POS, he knocked a woman up in college and abandoned his first child. He has always been a womanizer and has no respect for women in general. He has made up multiple lies about family members and has made it his life's work to be a condescending covert narcissist only choosing to have a relationship with his sons from his second marriage (he was married to another woman first after the knock-up but had no kids). He tried to get back in with his older daughter but ended up abandoning her again when she was 18 after promising to have a relationship with her.
Enter my aunt (n-uncle's second wife). Growing up she was always pretty nice to me often standing up for me when my dad refused to take me to the doctor to get my broken arm set. Three weeks had gone by and despite us living in a million dollar house and having fabulous health insurance, I was denied medical care at 12 because my dad didn't feel like being a parent. This niceness however ended when I became an adult. Slowly she started to wear down my self esteem by calling me an airhead (projection), saying I was condescending to her kids, and manipulating me to come up to their house every weekend by saying they missed me and thought of me as a third child. I have pretty bad mom and dad issues and at the time being 22 I just wanted to feel like I belonged to a family. She never told my uncle she was inviting me up to go to baseball games, spend time etc.. instead she flipped it and said I was coming over on my own. She did this so that she could use the excuse of avoiding marital relations because I was in the guest room and may overhear their activities. I had no idea this was going on until I got in a fight with her and my grandmother (NDad and N-Uncle's mom) called me and accused me of ruining my aunt and uncles marriage. I then sent out text messages and receipts showing she was the one extending the invites. I wish I could say my relationship with her stopped there but it continued on for 6 more years until I got the courage to move away. In that time span while they were still married (Divorced in 2020 after 20 years of wedded unbliss). During this time I was degraded multiple times, used as a free babysitter, gaslit, manipulated etc..
My aunt however was always nicer to me than my uncle. He would basically only be nice to me when he was drunk and wanted to complain about his sex life or brag about his conquests. Every time I tried to shut it down, he would continue. I also thought some of it was funny so I have some responsibility with not setting boundaries even though it bothered me. in 2019 I graduated with my masters and they both ruined my celebration. N- Aunt decided not to come because she had some lame athletic event to go to that she could have absolutely missed. N-Uncle came with N-dad and both of them used the after party to tell me to go Fin*** myself because I was upset with them getting hammered and ruining the party. During this party which was supposed to be about me, my uncle confessed to me that he had feelings for a co-worker (we'll call her Barbara) because I was a "therapist" now (I'm actually a school counselor but he is hard pressed to know the difference). He spent the whole night screaming BARBARA I love you outside while my aunt was 15 feet or less away. I was trying to shut him up because I didn't want his 20 year marriage to be up in flames as they have two little kids. As you can imagine, it was a horrible day and it just got worse after that.
In 2020 they finally got a divorce. I heavily suspect my aunt of cheating on him because of pregnancy tests I found in a downstairs bathroom (my uncle had gotten snipped and they never had sex anyway). There were no other women in the house besides her. She is also very flirty, shady, and would often go away for hours at a time to get "physical therapy" on her foot. I confirmed that she was emotionally cheating with her high school boyfriend (keep in mind she's close to 50). When they split it was ugly, my grandpa also died during the same week they got a divorce. I was triangulated and also scared to not be around them because of my own abandonment issues (stepmom and mom who abandoned me- my stepmom died when I was a kid, my mom just sucks). I clung to my aunt at this time because I was scared I would never talk to her again after knowing her my whole life. My uncle couldn't accept this, and one night after a fight I was tasked with taking him to a hotel (he was drunk) or my aunt would have him arrested. He called me a C***, and said I needed to disown her, threw a wine bottle, screamed at me and also weirdly hit on me in front of the hotel clerk saying "oh we are getting a room to go make love". After all this I was so creeped out and also upset. I didn't pick any side I just didn't really cozy up to him. He could sense the distance and flipped out and basically blocked me. He lied and said I called one of his young kids a pu*** and started up a pretty bad smear campaign right after. He called me crazy because I had depression, told my cousins and my aunt I was nuts, and asked her to "watch me around his kids". Keep in mind I am a fully credentialed school counselor who had worked with kids for 3 years at this point and am very highly regarded in the counseling community in our town. It was laughable, and also extremely hurtful.
It's important to note that my aunt was up to her old tricks during this time too. She asked me to make a statement to her lawyer explaining what happened to try to get my uncle's custody revoked. I refused based on the fact that even though he has been an absolute trash bag to me, he is still a semi-decent father to his 2/3 kids. My aunt and I became closer but she used me pretty bad, I was cooking and cleaning for her every week just to maintain our relationship. I would buy beer for her tinder hookups and clean her house before her telling me I needed to leave so she could hookup with sometimes 2-3 different men in one day. She was hooking up with married friends, EX coworkers, and this went on for several months where I was the "prepper" for her rendezvous. She would then tell me everything in graphic detail despite me asking her not to. It was gross, abusive, and disturbing. The final straw for me was when she gave me COVID, and I spent 10 days taking care of her only for her to kick me out of her house once she was off her deathbed to send me to an apartment with roommates who all had immunocompromised relatives. When I told her I couldn't leave she made my life hell and was rude the entire time even after taking her to the ER, buying her oxygen and tending to her two sick children for her while I was also extremely ill.
I decided at that moment I was moving out of the state we lived in and coming back to live closer to other family.
After moving home, my dad really started to become abusive. He has physically beaten me, abused me emotionally my whole life but during this debacle he was strangely nice. Well that all changed. He went haywire one day and demanded I cease all communication with my aunt (I know she sucks but I wasn't ready to do this at the time and didn't appreciate all the control). I told him to shove it, and he disinherited me and told me that he wished that he didn't talk my mom out of her abortion ideas. I haven't spoken to him since 2021. In the present day, I still have LC with my aunt but she lives across the county. She remarried and I don't have any issues with her current husband. My uncle came to visit my grandma (his mother) and I did see him briefly. He tried to "make up" with me and I was kind to him. After the visit however, he has been calling me horrific names, lying about things I have said, and continuing his smear campaign. He told my family that his being nice was "all for show". My grandma and her other two children are always trying to mend fences with my dad, myself, and my uncle. They are complete flying monkeys who acknowledge my dad is trash but still make excuses for my uncle. It will never change.
Heres where I am at: I am finally happy after shedding 50 pounds and escaping an abusive hellscape. I have ran two marathons and am thriving in spite of the three merry aholes. I am in a healthy relationship with a very nice and understanding man. We have bought a house together and will be getting engaged soon. I still have so much rage, often I post things about narcissistic abuse to get back at my aunt who still follows me online. I love her and keep in contact with her because admittedly she is the most benign narc and I love my two minor cousins. However, with each passing day I get. angrier and angrier. Every time we have a family gathering I find myself bashing my uncle and dad. I feel like a very angry broken record. I have tried therapy but I still feel this very large well of rage. A few weeks ago my aunt called me and asked me if I called her new husband stupid. I told her no and she told me that my uncle was at her house that day telling her that he heard" through the grapevine" that I said this. Then my younger cousin unfollowed me the next day. It pisses me off that online she always posts about her healthy co-parenting relationship and how wonderful my uncle is. It seems like everyone else gets to be all happy but I am constantly the scapegoat even after removing myself completely.
Has anyone else had a successful time overcoming their own rage? Also am I blowing things out of proportion? Please help (also thank you for reading this large rambling mess of my post/ life summary).
TLDR: My aunt, uncle, and dad are narcs- they've screwed me over but I am finally in a better place but I am being chained by rage and not moving forward- please help

2024.05.22 20:44 Prestigious_Race_486 LONG POST- Dealing with an abusive Aunt, Uncle and Dad

I then sent out text messages and receipts showing she was the one extending the invites.I wish I could say my relationship with her stopped there but it continued on for 6 more years until I got the courage to move away. In that time span while they were still married (Divorced in 2020 after 20 years of wedded unbliss).
During this time I was degraded multiple times, used as a free babysitter, gaslit, manipulated etc..My aunt however was always nicer to me than my uncle.
As you can imagine, it was a horrible day and it just got worse after that.In 2020 they finally got a divorce.
