With six different t-shirts in hand, a food scale, and an unnecessary level of attention to detail, I present to you six different shirts compared.
TLDR: The heavier shirts (Taylor Stitch Heavy Bag and Buck Mason Field Spec) feel like they drape better, have better texture, and will last longer. Uniqlo tees are good for exercise/sleeping. TS Organic Cotton tees have some interesting stripe variations, which are nice. Regardless, all options are good, assuming they fit well.
In the search for good quality basics, I decided to order 4 different buck mason t-shirts, as they are known as a high quality shirt brand. I also have a bunch of shirts from Taylor Stitch and Uniqlo, thus the comparison that I wear all the time. I ordered all medium shirts, and measured them on a food scale. I generally wear the shirts casually - layered with a flannel, an overshirt, or a camp collar shirt.

• While shirts are slightly different, they are more or less the same size (with about 1 square meter of fabric for a medium shirt), and the reported fabric weight/area are consistent with the measured weights. Also the fabric is pretty thin, so at least for the white tees, which I bought, it is a bit translucent. So you can see the doubled up fabric at the seams. Maybe they wash a bit better, but the uniqlo tees wash fine, so I'd say: the more expensive Buck Mason lightweight tees are not worth it.
• Buck Mason - Hemp Tee - I found this to be a bit scratchy, so I'm planning on returning it. It claims to be a cool wearing tee, which could be true, and it may smooth out a bit with more wears, but I don't feel a strong desire to find out.
• Buck Mason - Field Spec - this is 100% cotton versus the Heavy bag which is approx half cotton, half polyester. Field spec has a nice subtle texture to it, and nice seams. Its a tad softer than heavy bag, which may be a pro or a con depending on how you look at it.

I feel like the TS/buck mason heavy tees had better color depth (i.e. slight variations in color with the texture of the shirt) than the uniqlo tees, but its pretty subtle. Another point is that white shirts are likely to discolor over time due to sweat regardless, so either you can bleach them, or you choose non-white, which is less likely to stain. Also a darker color would have stains show up less.

I have worked as a Behavioral Health Technician at a local hospital on their acute inpatient psych units as well as in the psych zone of the ER for about a year now. I create behavior plans, create and assist with goals, take vitals, assist with daily cares, manage challenging/dangerous behaviors (including applying restraints), track anxiety/depression levels, and chart everything. A senior citizen in my family was served a notice to vacate their rental apartment in 2022 for family use. About 10 weeks later I found the unit listed on a rental site, and a former neighbour in the building confirmed that someone who was not family was moving in.
My family member worked with a seniors legal clinic in their area to help them file a claim for bad faith eviction and the hearing is coming up in about a month. They’ve asked me to help on hearing day because they don’t know how to use Zoom and I want to help them be as well prepared as possible. Like so many others, losing their home has been heartbreaking and I want to help get a good result. What should we do at this point to prepare? Is this winnable without a paralegal or should that be my first step to help them?

Hi, I've been thinking about this question and would like some outside opinions because I feel like I have to be missing something. I also don't want to ask a bunch of coworkers and come off as dissing the teacher.
I'm a teacher aide in two second grade classrooms in a Choice private school. I did go to school to be a teacher. I completed everything except one 10 week student teaching (but I made up the credits and graduated). I've worked at those school for about 3.5 years. 1.5 were spent with K4. This is my second year in 2nd grade.
Backstory: My one teacher is chronically absent. She is being forced to retire after this school year. Her back and legs are causing hee so much pain she can't come to school and work. I've been the only constant presence for these kids these last 6 months. My teacher has only been a full time teacher her for about 7 years. She subbed for a lot of her life. I end up teaching a lot, although it's been awesome having subs on most days as of late. I take care of most of the stuff in the classroom and come in early and stay late to try to make sure everything is as it should be.
She basically doesn't use the school's science or English curriculum. We have a new math curriculum (we used to use Saxon until we couldn't get any more physical books. Now we have Math Expressions), but she doesn't teach it as intended. She doesn't use a lot of the materials that came with it.
For English, our school uses Shirely which is what I grew up with. The student books are still in storage. The student workbook are in their desks, unused. They have only used the sentence books, but she doesn't teach it the Shirely way. These kids will go on to 3rd grade... behind. She thinks they have to master each part of speech before doing sentences. It never occurred to her that we could go through them... as a class. I never even knew where the TE book was until like a week ago. I'm not even convinced she knows how to do it. She uses tons of superteacher worksheets and random ones she finds online. Sometimes the answer key isn't right. Some of the stuff is confusing. Instead of using the Shirely songs and videos, she picks random stuff from on YouTube.
For science, she doesn't use the book. She prints off all these black and white packets that the kids frequently lose. Lots of repetitive questions. Everything is writing stuff out that frankly feels like wastes of time sometimes because by the time everyone has the answers down, a chunk of the kids are now talking, making noises, and distracting each other. Sometimes I don't even know what the question is asking either. Sometimes the answer isn't actually in the text (and it's not an opinion or inference question).
I've talked a little with one of subs (who taught in the upper grades for many years at the school), and she clearly thinks that not using the English curriculm is wrong. On the days she's there, it's like she makes it her mission to teach how they should be taught.
Math is now being taught by the other 2nd grade teacher. We are units behind with only a couple weeks left and won't be able to finish the book. There were too many days spent not doing lessons or using materials not from the curriculum (which they didn't master. They are still very much struggling).
I just don't understand. How do you not know where you NEED to be if at all possible? If you are picking random topics for science, how do you know you are meeting standards? All of this goes against everything I was taught in college. If the kids were thriving, I wouldn't be worried. They aren't though.
And FWIW, the other teacher doesn't use the curriculum for social studies either, and I can't say I understand. That retired teacher sub doesn't even agree with some of the stuff in these worksheets (like money being an example of scarcity).
I very much try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I naturally believe they know better than me, so I hate saying anything. Am I missing something or is/was my teacher just not great at teaching? She feels like the kind of teachers I grew up with in the 90s and early 00s, although my teachers were better I think. I understand supplementing with materials every once in a while... or if the book is missing a lot of stuff. But never using the curriculum and it's worksheets? Or using it only a quarter of the way so that it appears to confuse the kids so it must not work? To be clear, I've never heard them talk about the curriculum being awful or old or anything.
I'll say this because I feel like someone may ask, we don't have anyone in charge of curriculum or looking over lesson plans. They submit their block plans to the drive I think, but I'm pretty sure they aren't looked at.

Here is a guide on how to fight and defeat Germany and the USSR with Poland, using the left sanation path. But first, why would you want to do this?

• If you play as Poland on historical and don’t give up the east or Danzig, it is you plus the allies against the Axis and the Comintern. Also, you are pretty isolated from the allies. This is an incredibly challenging scenario, and one that I personally find very fun.
• Second, the Sanation left path is very underappreciated that needs some appreciation! In my opinion, this is *kind of* Poland’s strongest path. There are plenty of paths for Poland that are stronger after the war - the Slavic Union comes to mind. But you don’t need to be strong *after* the war, you need to get strong *before* the war, and this is where Sanation left excels.
• LARP lol. Defeating both the Nazis and the Soviets as Democratic Poland?? That is cool as hell.

What makes the Sanation left path strong? Polish militarism + right wing paramilitarism = +4.5% recruitable pop. You will have more manpower than you will ever need with this path - far more than the cores from monarchist paths can give you before the war. Second, common organization of society gives +10% factory output. Third, Walery Slawek as both a leader and advisor is +20% stability. Nothing to turn up your nose at. Fourth, you only spend the equivalent of 6 focuses on your political path to get all of its benefits, giving you more time to use on Poland’s excellent industrial branch.
Ok! So now onto the guide.
Intelligence Agency
You’ll want an intelligence agency as Poland that has Psychological Warfare, and army department. This is used for two important tasks.

• As early as possible, you want to start boosting ideology in Hungary. Hungary gets the “strengthen fascists” spirit, giving them +0.03 daily fascism support until Dec 6 1938. If you can stop them from getting more than 40% fascist support, they can never renounce the treaty of trianon and join Germany. But Germany still gives them carpathian ruthenia. So you can use Hungarian neutrality to block troops moving from the USSR-Romania side to the Germany-Italy side, and this makes a huge difference in making the war manageable.
• Secondly, use spies (probably after dec 6 1938) to infiltrate the German army. This will help you see where their troops are behind the front lines, which will be important to our military strategy.

Army Setup Before the War
You want 6 armies of 18 width infantry, with engineers, artillery, and anti-air support companies. Remember to train them to regulars - this makes a huge difference in their combat effectiveness! You also really want the 1939 engineer technology for the +50% entrenchment. This, plus grand battleplan, will make it so you can hardly be pushed.
2 armies go on the main German boarder, between Slovakia and the Baltic coast. 1 army goes on the Konigsburg pocket border. 1 army goes on the Slovakian border. 2 armies can be held in reserve around the capital to provide additional support where needed and plug gaps, and they will go to the USSR to latvia border a few months befure the USSSR declares war.
So you will need to produce: lots of guns, support equipment, anti-air, artillery, trains, and trucks, before the war.
After the war starts, you will want to focus on winning the air war. Swap to producing fighters (as many as it takes), getting 200 transport planes, getting an army of 10w paratroopers with support artillery, and getting an army of 10w port guards with support artillery to stop soviet navel invasions
Technology and Doctrines
Focus on industrial tech, of course. Here are the strategically important technologies for our strategy

• Fighters. You want Improved Small Airframe as fast as possible, and you want to make sure that the moment you unlock it you already have survivability studies, heavy MG, range improvements, and engines 3.
• Radar. Make sure your radar is at least up to date, and ideally ahead of time! Coordination helps on the defence a fair bit, but more importantly, radar helps you win the air war in a huge way, and having overlapping radar helps you see where your enemies are behind the front line. This is very very helpful for paradropping. I like to have maxed out radar stations in Warszawa, and Plock.
• Paratroopers. You really only just need the first paratrooper tech. But don’t forget it!
• Grand Battleplan. Go for infiltration. The main reason we want grand battleplan is for the entrenchment. You need that early in the war. Once you survive Germany and the USSR banging their heads against your trenches for a while, you have won. Superior firepower, in my opinion in this scenario, will help you ‘win more’ if you would have already won, but Grand Battleplan helps you *not lose* on the day Germany declares war, which is the most important day of the playthrough.
• Paratrooper Special Forces Doctrine - Combat Insertion. This is critical to the strategy - make sure you have 100 air XP saved up to get the first two doctrines in this special forces doctrine before you win the air war.
• Operational Integrity - The best doctrine for fighters, and you will be focusing hard on fighters.

Political Power Priorities
You will need political power to crush resistance in Danzig, so save up initially for that. Aside from that I would prioritize as follows:

1. Partial Mobilization
2. Limited Conscription
3. Defence expert army chief (start building that XP early!)
4. Air reformer airforce chief (you need air XP for those paratroopers!)
5. Improved working conditions. Get that stability! Using this earlier hurts less than using it later.
6. Illusive Gentleman! You need to keep Hungary from going Fascist!
7. Wallery the political advisor for +10% stability.
8. The Leftist Legionary. Extra democracy support is nice, and +15% attack and defence for paratroopers will come in handy when you start going on the offensive.
9. PKP industrial concern. +15% industrial research is nice!
10. Infantry expert & air superiority expert. You don’t need these before the war, of course.

NOTE: Make sure that you have enough political power saved up for the start of the war! You want to instantly switch to total mobilization, and activate women in the workforce). Activating extensive conscription is nice but there is no need to do it instantly.
NOTE: Get a military theorist before you start buying land doctrines, but remember that you don’t need them before the start of the war, so put off the military theorist as long as possible and just bank the xp.
Focus Order Phase 1: Danzig & Agrarian Reforms
(the first number in brackets is whether it is a 35 day focus (0.5) or a 70 day focus (1), the second number is the total number of 70 day focuses done to that point)

1. Clamp down on Danzig (0.5-0.5)
2. The Four Year Plan (0.5-1)
3. Central Region Strategy (0.5-1.5)
4. New Polish Industry (0.5-2)
5. Ban the Nazi Party (0.5-2.5)
6. Integrate Gdansk (1-3.5)
7. Invest in the Old Polish Region (0.5-4)
8. Fill the Railway Gaps (1-5)
9. Agrarian Reform (1-6)

Note: After you clamp down on Danzig, switch your garrison law to “local police force”, make sure you prioritize equipment and manpower to garrisons, switch your garrison template to the horse one, and then delete all your starting cavalry divisions to make sure there is enough equipment for the garrisons. Then, spend political power on “unification propaganda”, and unpause. Right before you are ready to ban the nazi party, take the “raid nazi resistance” decision. This should ensure that you have enough compliance on time, and that the focus will not cancel when you are half way through it (which otherwise can happen and is very annoying)
These focuses give you all of Danzig’s factories, 3 civs and 4 mills, gets you off embargoed economy, and takes care of the peasant’s strike just in the nick of time.
Focus Order Phase 2: Industrial Development

1. Expand the university of warsaw (1-7)
2. Invest in eastern poland (1-8)
3. Modernize congressional factories (1-9)
4. Expand Krakow industries (1-10)
5. Modernize Galician industry (1-11)
6. National Defence fund (1-12)

These focuses give you an extra research slot at a time when you will need it, 8 civs and 5 mils, and a big improvement to partial mobilization through the -35% consumer goods factor that will last two years. This also gives you just enough time to do your political branches before the German invasion.
Focus Order Phase 3: Political Tree

1. Complete the april constitution (1-13)
2. Polish Militarism (0.5-13.5)
3. Consolidate the Sanation Government (0.5-14)
4. The Sanation Left (0.5-14.5)
5. The Sanation Right (0.5-15)
6. Support Right-Wing Paramilitarism (0.5-15.5)
7. Department of Home Defence (0.5-16)
8. The Left Chairman (1-17)
9. Common Organization of Society (0.5-17.5)
10. A New King in the Castle (0.5-18)
11. Prepare for the Next War (0.5-18.5)

This gets you all the benefits of the sanation path, including the massive boost to recruitable population and a lot of stability. You also get the equivalent of 170 military experience.
Military Strategy when Germany Invades

• Keep the air contested and try to win the air war with the Nazis. They will bang their heads against your position, and that’s great. If you've followed this guide and you actively manage your defence (moving adjacent troops to reinforce weak tiles under attack) they shouldn't be able to push you a single tile.
• In my experience, the germans (and eventually Italians) are so busy trying to overcome your defence that they aren’t able to make it through Belgium to capitulate france. This is a huge win.
• The first thing you should do, when you are ready to advance, is to close the Konigsburg pocket. Ideally, try your best to do that before the soviets invade. Try to push here even in yellow air, using the huge planning bonuses from grand battle plan doctrine. It may be costly, but it is necessary.
• When you close the Konigsburg pocket, send that army to the border with Lithuania so that you won’t get a nasty surprise when the soviets annex them. If you like, set them up with an order to advance to Riga and execute it, so that they rush in when the Soviets annex lithuania.
• Try to build up level 2 forts on the entirety of the border with the Soviets. You will be taking focuses that upgrade these fort levels, so getting them to level 2 before these focuses fire off will help immensely. These forts allow you to basically ignore the soviets until the Germans are defeated.

How to take land from Germany:

• After you can get green Air, put out your transport planes and get ready for some paradrops. Find opportunities for paradrop-encirclements. Start by looking at the baltic coast: find a weak tile, and while paused order your adjacent units to attack it, and order a paradrop on that tile to help it break.
• Don’t forget to attack adjacent tiles if they are trying to reinforce the weak one, to slow down their reinforcement.
• When it looks like your units are about to win the battle, pause the game because it is time to order a lot more paradrops. You want to order a single unit to drop on a continuous stretch of tiles between the breech you are about to create and the baltic coast.
• Then order some redundant paradrops on tiles next to your line of tiles, just in case any of them are secretly occupied. It will take time for your paratroopers to lose, and if any of the adjacent tiles are occupied by you, the unit will retreat there instead of being deleted, so make sure that even if the encounter resistance, they will have a title to retreat into!
• Feel free to leave ports inside of the encirclement. Thanks to the royal navy, those ports won’t be of much use in getting supply to the enemy. But you can also, sometimes, feel comfy paradropping on ports that seem lightly guarded, as long as you paradrop many adjacent tiles as well to further de-org the port and ensure that even if you lose your paratroopers have somewhere to retreat to.
• Then, unpause, and watch the chaos. Order your regular units to attack the pocket. Manually order around your dropped paratroopers to hog as many tiles as possible before the enemy is able to reorganize itself.
• Eventually the lines will re-solidify (but with many encircled units destroyed) and you can repeat the paradrop on a new weak spot. I would focus on advancing along the baltic coast. It is easier here thanks to the royal navy, robs germany of important industry, is much nicer than trying to go through the Sudaten forts, and when you do link up with the French/UK lines, you will be in great shape (though don’t expect to do this before the soviets invade).

Hopefully when the soviets invade, you have level 3 forts along the whole border. This should make it easy to hold with 2 armies.

• Don’t be caught off guard by Romania invading! Make sure to send a few divisions with a fallback line by the Romanian border, and ensure that the rail network is good enough that division there won’t starve.
• Don’t be caught off guard by the soviets suddenly annexing Lithuania! Gets some kind of army there before they do - ideally the army that took down the Konigsburg pocket.

Hi all. Relative newbie to solar. I’ve had a 3 panel system from pluginsolar on my garage for approx 2 years. This was configured to feed directly into the garage consumer unit, no export or battery storage.

Good Day! I was hired by a 200 unit condo HOA association to be a maintenance supervisoconsultant. I am a retired GC and Homebuilder with 35 years experience in the construction industry. I've also been on the board of directors for a condo association where I own in a different state. Where I work, our complex is on the coast (mere blocks from the beach). We are 95% STR with few permanent residents. We have two high seasons (may-Sept) and (Xmas-Tax day). The two shoulder seasons are really our only time to make repairs and maintenance. The rest of the time we work just to keep the doors open. The HOA is responsible for all common areas, a huge 5000 SF clubhouse with pool, sauna and fitness center. Our grounds are huge and the buildings are three story. The complex was originally built in the mid 80's as apartments and converted to condo's in the mid 90's.
Long story longer (I promise there's a question). The two boards that I have worked for accomplish little to nothing. Every repaimaintenance item I recommend (unless small enough and cheap enough to be accomplished by our small 2.5 person staff) is denied or just dies a death in discussion. Our units are in dire need of repairs, such as: entry stairs (built like exterior decks/stairs) are crumbling because the framing was built out of dimensional non-treated lumber. The stairs are deteriorated to a point that we can even reattach loose deck boards as there is no wood left to run a screw into. Our exterior buildings haven't been painted in 13 years. Staff just finished a project of power washing the buildings to remove salt/sand/algae and it exposed many areas of wood rot in the Fascia, soffit and exterior walls. Th caulking on all exterior penetrations is shrunken and gone. we repaired as much as we could with the time the board agreed to pay for a boom lift, but won't consider having the buildings painted or even to obtain quotes. Due to the marine climate, everything rusts or deteriorates at an alarming rate. As near as I can tell, previous boards have only acted in "crisis" situations and never with a true "maintenance" plan. I'm trying to get the current board to understand that we have run out of time to make much needed repairs and that we have significant safety and water penetration issues that must be dealt with.
I have pictures and statements from staff, owners and professionals that outline all the necessary repairs.
Our monthly dues were fixed at under $500/mo for years. (there are multiple sizes of unit that pay slightly different rates). We had a large hurricane roof loss in 2018 that drained emergency funds. The board has now built reserves high enough to cover the deductible if we have another catastrophic event. The capital reserve fund is growing (albeit gradually) because the dues are too low for proper funding and all previous boards have been more than reluctant to raise them even to keep up with inflation. As of today, we are STILL under $600 for our largest unit in an area where comparable complexes are $1000+. I know this is kind of a rant but I want to lay a framework of the challenges our complex is facing.
My question (for Board members and homeowners alike in redditland) is how do I guide the current BOD (who has some very sharp members) to: A obtain a professional reserve study (they've never had one). B. To create a proper 1, 5 and 10 year plan to make absolutely necessary repairs and C. to properly fund the capital reserves and to ACTUALLY SPEND them money to get to the point where we are actually maintaining our property instead of constantly making minimal emergency repairs?
My biggest obstacle as I see it is this: since 95% or the owners are absentee and STR focused only, they seem to merely care only about what happens inside their 4 walls ( or a common area element that gets them a bad VRBO review) It's like the common area elements and exterior maintenance don't exist.
I am by nature a thrifty person. My entire working career was spent balancing quality and cost so I completely understand spending money as if was my own. The current board trusts my judgement and knowledge bu discard that trust when it comes to opening the purse strings.
Has anyone been in this situation and can you please give guidance on what I might do to help them help themselves? I truly struggle watching the decline of our property due to neglect. Kaieda's heart raced, as the child of Atlas charged at his daughter and Kalista without hesitation. Time seemed to slow down, as he couldn't believe he was about to witness, another one of his children killed, this time in front of him.
He was a proud man, even with his demeanour. He didn't lack in his training and responsibilities as the crown prince. However, one thing he did regret in his life, was not spending much time, with his daughter. Her older brother had died in a skirmish with the children of Atlas and he was unable to do anything, even though he was close to their battle site.
Although situations had never favoured him, he still blamed himself. Now once again, he still couldn't do anything.
Time resumed, for it never waited for him, as the child of Atlas got within a meter of killing Yori, who was not prepared. However, suddenly, dropping like an anchor out of the sky, was the Hashin guarding their shuttle, who managed to block the child of Atlas' charge.
Her skin was cracking up like Kayed's, having used the technique, to allow her to make it on time. She felt her comrade's life flash off in the distance and assumed a code zero mentality. Her priority was to keep the royal family safe and help them escape the danger. "Forbidden Art, Acidic Clouds."
Tiny sprouts opened up, all near the child of Atlas' feet, quickly bellowing out, a massive plume of acidic smoke from the planet. Surrounding him, and maintaining position, his skin burned, blistered, and peeled, as his body tried to keep up with the damage. He began to choke, then dropped to his knees, coughing his lungs out.
The Hashin spurted out blood, as one of her organs was crushed as a sacrifice. Still, she wanted to see this through and was ready to sacrifice another.
"Haha ahaha... Just kidding." The child of Atlas stood back up, as a big swirl of electricity, blew the acid clouds away from him, and crushed the ground around his feet. "Did you think, that was going to hurt me? With all the stories that I used to hear from Father, you're generation has truly disappointed me."
Her eyes grew wide in terror. She raised a massive golem of lava behind him, throwing down a colossal fist, while glancing back just once, to yell at them to run away.
However, it all happened too quickly, for them to register. She glanced back at him, as a gigantic, violet lightning strike, struck the golem down with ease and continued to converge into his hand. An object looking like a spear, was all she could make out, as he threw it with intense velocity, trying to kill the two women behind her as well.
The Hashin managed to launch them out of the way, towards Kaieda, with a clay dome, absorbing the impact. Time was still in slow motion for her, as her feet began to lift off the floor, and she finally, was able to look down. Seeing the gaping hole, centred through her chest.
"I see..." She said faintly and unleashed the last of her energy, as her body hit the floor. "Forbidden Art... Land Reformation...."
With her last breath, thousands of geysers opened up all around them, as sleeping volcanoes of the entire country blew up. In moments, the entire land was covered in lava, a burning land, with no habitable spot as far as the eye could see. The waves consumed her, as everyone else had to worry for their lives.
Kaieda kept Kalista and Yori behind him, facing the enemy, who was wary of the lava, the moment it began and took to the skies after them, keeping his distance. "Kalista take Yori with you now, you can use the opportunity she bought us to escape his reach!"
Kaieda took off his coat, letting it fall into the burning ocean, with his black sword gleaming by his side. Then, he gathered enough energy to go into third gear.
Yori, piped up between them, a tear beginning to streak down her cheek. "I can fight with you!"
Suddenly the child of Atlas attacked and kicked him with such speed it immediately shattered a couple of bones in his arm, yet he blocked it, grinning. His knowledge of iko was one of the best on Azuria, given his private lessons from his father. However, he knew immediately, that this opponent wasn't someone he could hold back against.
The wind from the force of the strike nearly blew Kalista and Yori away. The man smiled, glancing at each of them. "I don't like when you guys ignore me like that. No need for any planning. Show me your strength. What are you worth, Prince of Azuria?"
Kaieda lurched taking another strike to his stomach. He gritted his teeth and grabbed hold of the man's arm while covering his other fist with magma. Striking him square in the face and dislocating the man's arm.
He yelled out in pain, glaring at him, then smirked, as his arm popped back into his shoulder, by itself. He glared at Kaieda, but quickly regained his composure.
Kaieda braced himself. "If you know of me, then you know I won't forgive you, for what you have done to my people and the harm you tried to cause my child."
The child of Atlas shook his head. "No, it's truly an honour, I've heard stories of you ever since I was a youngling, as well as the Hashin. It's why I was excited to come to this planet... Ahh my bad, I forgot to introduce myself."
Purple lightning struck him, as he held the charge, going into first gear. "I go by Galaico, the 85th child of Atlas. I must add your skull, to my collection."
Several beads of sweat dripped down Kaieda's face. He had only felt this much power, often from his father. Now facing someone at that level, he realized, this was the moment of his life, where he had to surpass Akio, in every way.
Which meant, he had to put his life on the line. "Ahh Galaico was it? I've got to be honest with you. Getting serious isn't my style. I like to have fun. Travel the galaxy and see new things. However I've been blessed to have experienced so much and wish my daughter the same life, but better in every way." His expression changed, as a deadly aura, began to emanate from him. "You and your family, threaten her way of life. I can not allow you to live!"
Galaico smirked. "So what are you going to do? Can you even survive, my next strike?" He said, settling into a stance, ready to pounce on his prey.
Kaieda clasped both of his hands. "We'll see, I'll be giving it everything I've got!" Steam, escaped his breath as he bit down, and exploded the energy within him. "Forbidden Art, Self-Volcanization!"
His heart lit on fire, as his skin began to crack and shift like magma. Enormous power coursed through him, as volcanoes in the entire area erupted once more. His hair remained silver, as lava marks flowed through his skin coursing faster.
The prince dodged raining rocks and debris, as Kaieda raised one palm at him. "Shūchō Roar!"
A large sphere of lava had started to form in front of his palm while gathering some from below before it shattered forth. Carving out the burning sea below them, as it chased the Galaico, who was trying to escape. At some point, he disappeared with a flash, and reappeared, kicking Kaieda on his side, and crashing him down into the sea of lava.
Kaieda, immediately jumped back up into the air, as pillars of lava followed behind him, each grabbing for Galaico. Who once again zipped around, dodging each one. Blurring, with the speed of his movements, as he drew his sword and aimed to cut the Azurian down.
However, as he struck at Kaieda's body, the magma he covered himself in armour with, morphed to grab hold of his sword and hardened. Then Kaieda grabbed his arm, as he couldn't escape, burning him as he gripped tightly.
"Let go of me!" The prince yelled struggling to get free, then flipped up to try and kick him away. However, a massive hand of magma soared out of the sea like a dolphin. Then, grabbed hold of him, before crashing back down into the lava with him
"Hagye Nightmare." Kaieda said, as he turned off the limit-breaking technique, which had already shaved away a quarter of his life, and thanked the Hashin for her last gift.
He turned around to begin heading back to his daughter, when the burning sea began to shake, rippling earthquakes through the land, as lightning struck down all around him, then at him as he raised a barrier above, to protect himself.
Galaico rose out of the sea of lava, with a barrier of electricity, dripping lava off of it. His entire body was messed up, with all of his clothes burnt off.
He pointed raised one palm at Kaieda. "You're paying for that! Lightning Flare!"
A laser of electricity ripped through the side of Kaieda's abdomen faster than he could react. He began to fall out of the sky.
The prince looked at him, angrily. "That's not enough. Not yet!"
He raced towards Kaieda and kicked him harder, sending him crashing into a mountain, outside of the country.
Kaieda could barely see, his vision was blurry, and nausea washed over him. He felt multiple bone fractures throughout his body. 'This is it.' He thought to himself. 'I can't win, but I hope I bought them, enough time to escape.'
Galaico landed in front of him, standing above, with a disgusted look. "Someone proclaiming to be a prince of the Azurians and the next leader of the Rahmanaka Clan should never be this weak. I'm disappointed, Prince Kaieda."
Kaieda coughed large amounts of blood, as he sat himself up. "Maybe so, but I am proud to have served my people to the very end. I'm not sure if I'll be missed, but my daughter, will make a fine Queen one day and I don't want her to ever have to see you again."
He had one hand planted on the ground, the entire time, beckoning the lava, burning where they left, to go down under, and manipulate tectonic plates. The ground below them, started to vibrate violently, as earthquakes ripped the land apart.
"Galaico! You messed with the wrong clan!" Kaieda yelled as he sacrificed his life's entire potential.
The prince's eyes grew wide, before he spun around and began running as fast as he could, then took off into the air, but his leg was caught on to something. Rather something was pulling him back down.
Arms growing out of each other made out of titanium, clay, and different steels, extended out of the ground, with one of the arms grabbing hold of his leg. Then, like a whip it dropped him back down to the ground, as Kaieda yelled out loud. "Forbidden Art, Continental Detonation!" Then smiled, one last time, as Galaico watched him slump over to the side.
Galaico panicked as time seemed to move in slow motion for him. His life flashed multiple times before his eyes, as he cut off the arm, holding him down, and dove toward the sky as quickly, as quickly as he could. Just in time, as the entire continent erupted.
