I’ve watched BigDucks guide on Kinetic Bolt of Fragmentation and looked up builds on poe.ninja and made something in between that feels good to me. My current build is amazing at blasting T16 maps, including map bosses, using normal Kinetic Blast. But how do wanders deal with single target, like Guardian bosses or god forbid Pinnacle bosses? I tried KBoF in maps but it feels like I’m too reliant on getting in the middle of large packs to deal with them for my comfort, while KB clears offscreen. With good positioning, single target is good but exposes me to hits which I can’t always comfortably tank.
BigDucks guide has a spellslinger mark/curse setup with Whispers of Doom and he leans hard into mark effect tattoos. He also doesn’t fully convert to cold but does 50/50 lightning/cold instead.
My boots have a dead fire res mod which should be avoid ailments instead so I can free up my anoint, but other than that I can’t see any obvious gearing issue. Can you?
So my question to you, my fellow redditors, how do I deal with a T17 boss (or a Pinnacle boss)? Gem swap? Barrage? Different character? Better gear? Full BigDucks gem/convert setup?

Windows iTunes downloads music as an MP4. Garmin does not recognize this format. Windows iTunes will not convert these music files due to protected status. I cannot remove the protected status, nor will Garmin recognize the files after I convert them into mp3 from VLC app.
I refuse to use Spotify, I wouldn’t want to add another subscription bill to my life.
Am I missing something apparent to everyone else?

Question as in the title. The issue is both with automatic font size in the “Preferences” -> “Content Editing” -> set automatic font size and when the font size is set to specific size from text box properties to any font size. Acrobat will show the change of a font size in the preview window but when I save it as a .PDF-file it will always be the same undesired default size as before. What gives?

That are jellyfish-like creatures with no visible head or facial features other than a huge maw, and bearing several muscular tentacles strong enough to crush a man to death and armed with suckers on the tips through which the aliens drain their victims out of their blood. Normally invisible to the Human eye, the Star Vampires become visible after feeding, as the blood of their victims fill their entire bodies, giving them a vivid red color. They constantly emit a strange terrifying laughter. Gelgest is the Perk Gourmand and Star Vampire Hybridization within the Elditrix As a result of the hybridization with Star Vampire DNA, the Elditrix's version of Perk Upchuck went through drastic biological alterations, becoming a massive bulging jellyfish-like creature whose head rests at the bottom of its actual body, with what are normally its tongues acting as long, muscular tentacles that extend directly from from the back of its head and through it'd body, with them being strong enough to lift and hold things several times their size, with Gelgest then using these tentacles to pull materials straight into its maw for consumption. Because of their strength, Gelgest is able to use his tentacles to support itself for quick mobility (using 4 to carry itself while using 2 for grabbing), allowing for it to make its face be pointed straight instead of directly below. However, by far the most interesting aspect of its actual body is what is beyond its face as, despite appearing transparent, it actually holds a highly complex nervous system and organs, with these things being not visible because of one of Gelgest's main abilities - that being its invisibility, which its able to maintain until it consumes enough food, causing its body to gradually glow and make its whole body more visible. Besides that, it maintains the Gourmands ability to consume all sorts of matter, despite how large it is, store it, and convert it into explosive balls of green vomit that can be expelled, with it being through this release that Gelgest regains its invisibility. He can also survive in the vacuum of space and spit out slippery slime that's capable of melting ice. So, in summary, Gelgest has a jellyfish-like body with muscular and long tentacles that can be used for mobility, retains nearly all of a Gourmands natural abilities, can survive in the vacuum of space and spit out slime, and has the ability of invisibility, which it will gradually lose the more it eats until it's eventually released |

Hey all! I'm attaching what Etrecheck told me for my computer analysis but it looks like there are no major problems. I have plenty of diskspace etc because from day one I've kept everything on hard drives as I'm a photo editor and I use a lot of space for images/downloads/etc.

From what I can gather online, my computer is just "old" and can not keep up with Photoshop, Cricut etc apps. BUT even when I'm not running those apps, my computer is slow AF. I can only open Photoshop by itself and never with the internet open as well. It crashes constantly and I have to manually turn it off and on where it sometimes just freezes till it randomly turns on again later on in the day. I have no idea what to do about it and to be quite frank, I don't have the money to buy a new computer. We are living off of one income with kids at the moment and we are getting ready to move across the country so funds are limited. Anyone have any advice on what to do? I'd have no problem buying the $18 pro clean up but it seems like there isn't anything imperative to "fix."

From what I can gather online, my computer is just "old" and can not keep up with Photoshop, Cricut etc apps. BUT even when I'm not running those apps, my computer is slow AF. I can only open Photoshop by itself and never with the internet open as well. It crashes constantly and I have to manually turn it off and on where it sometimes just freezes till it randomly turns on again later on in the day. I have no idea what to do about it and to be quite frank, I don't have the money to buy a new computer. We are living off of one income with kids at the moment and we are getting ready to move across the country so funds are limited. Anyone have any advice on what to do? I'd have no problem buying the $18 pro clean up but it seems like there isn't anything imperative to "fix."

A dev who has agreed to mentor me wants me to scrape a site and organize the data. Scraping the site is easy. I see all of the elements as individual items. My question is, do I use pandas to scape the "li" items or do I need to convert all of the "li" items into a csv file with columns? As a beginner I couldnt figure out how to pull the specific data from the scraped results, but if I just convert the items into a csv file it may be much easier?

I've managed to get the SAMD bootloader for Arduino on to a ATSAMD11D14A-SSUT (20-pin version) using a cheap, chinese ST-LINK V2 clone and OpenOCD. The openocd.cfg that worked can be found here.
Somehow, with help from ChatGPT, I also managed to use the ST-LINK for uploading a sketch, by compiling a temporary .bin file for the sketch and using a slightly modified openocd.cfg file that would instead program that compiled sketch .bin file onto the D11. By adding a fork from Electronic Cats of the now unavailable Mattairtech boards, I managed to install and use a board called "Meow Meow Mini" that is using the Sam D11. I then added the ST-LINK V2 as a programmer in the programmers.txt of the Electronic Cats package, that would point to the openocd.cfg file. So by not uploading using a serial port but instead using the option "Upload with programmer", with the ST-LINK V2 selected as programmer, it somehow worked.
Anyway, that process is very inconvenient since I think the compiled .bin file gets a new name for each time it compiles/verifies. So it would require me to change the filename of the .bin file in the openocd.cfg every time I want to upload it. So I want to try uploading sketches using a USB-to-serial adapter instead, and so I got this FTDI adapter.
My question now is, is there any way to find out what the RX/TX pins are on the SAM D11? It's a bit out of my knowledge zone how this works exactly, but I would imagine that the pins are defined by the bootloader? I was trying to search through the datasheet of the SAM D11 as well, but it's still a bit daunting for me to decypher. :)

I hope this is the right place to get help.
In early 2013, I started my small business, and we used a company called workingpoint for our accounting software. The landscape was a bit different back then, and it seemed like a good choice. Well, fast forward 10+ years, and the platform is in hospice. There have been so many outages and nobody there responds to emails, parts of the system are breaking, it really seems like it has weeks, maybe days left till it is totally down for good. I need to get off of it, but the thought of moving all our data is driving my anxiety up the wall. I've been meaning to get to a different platform for years, and just keep putting it off. Thanks to massive family issues (brain cancer for my wife, debilitating nerve pain due to a herniated disc for me), we extended our taxes this year, and i'm scared to death that the system will die before we get to file and we'll be nearly completely screwed.
We are a very small business, we need software that does inventory tracking, quotes, invoices, bills, purchase orders, packing slip printing, etc. We don't have employees - just 2 partners in an LLC, so at least no payroll, etc. We have about 6000 invoices/quotes, 6000 bank entries, our general journal shows about 16,200 entries.
I'm looking at xero, zoho, freshbooks. sage. open to any other recommendations. I'd like to keep costs down to below 80/month.
The question is this - how do I get my data to the new platform? I can download all my invoices in CSV from the current platform. I can download all my banking transactions. I can download all my bills. All these files are separate and unrelated to each other. So a paid invoice has a bank transaction associated with it.... but not once I download the separate CSV files, then it's all unrelated. I can manually download my general journal, 1500 entries at a time... maybe this is the way?
The various platforms I'm looking at will let you bulk upload data, you download their CSV template, adjust your data to match and upload, but that doesn't allow for relating the various things to each other. How do i get that to work?
I did speak with a rep at zoho and basically told them we'd go to their platform if they would transfer our data for us 100%, but i think the language barrier kept the rep from really understanding what i was asking for - he told me they would do it, but i did not get a good feeling that we would get what we are really looking for. Also, he insisted that this would require the highest tier of membership, which is way more than we need, and it was unclear if we would have to keep that indefinitely or only short term.
I'm also open to find some expert to just pay to do this for us, but I don't know who to ask or where. I asked our accountant, who just does our taxes, but they're a very large firm, mostly uninterested in doing it for us, and will only take us to quickbooks, which I don't want to go to. they also wanted a lot of $$$ for it.
Lastly, if I can't find any good solution soon, my plan is to manually add every single entry for 2023 and 2024 by hand, at least so we can get our taxes set and go forward from there. I'd really like to have all of our history and data in the new platform, but maybe getting at least the bare minimum to survive will get my anxiety down. and at least we'll have the CSV versions of our data so we are safe as far as laws surrounding data retention for 7+ years.
Can anyone here advise on how to go about doing this, or where to find some expert to do it for us?

I am now over two years divorced and recently had to file a suit against my ex regarding my ability to communicate with my kids (ages 8 and 10) when they are in her custody (we have a 50/50 custody arrangement). There are various pieces that fall under this suit, but it all is in regard to having open lines of communication to the kids, sharing of social media and email logins for kids accounts, and most importantly a parenting facilitator to ensure there is a level of protection for both sides before a suit has to be filed. All things pertaining to the kids. I tried working it out between she and I, then offered to use an outside mediator (which our divorce decree mandates but only for issues related to medical or mental health) and finally had to file the suit. We requested the case be an associate judge and she is requesting it be heard by a jury. She is outright objecting to all of the points and is accusing me of trying to get devices into her home so I can spy on them.
I can absolutely state without any shred of doubt that I have no interest in knowing what goes on in that house except for things that relate to the kids and the history of text messages will show that there is no time where I pushed or tried to invade anyone’s privacy.
My ex has requested mostly financial information through discovery and it seems she is either going to try to go after some child support or try to play the victim in front of the jury/judge, or maybe it’s just posturing/intimidation, I’m not really sure what her angle is here. I have started making a decent chunk more that I did during our marriage so to me it seems like a money grab. In my eyes if she is going to go for child support, I am going to push for additional or full custody to reduce the financial burden on her.
Some details that may be important or maybe not. She had an affair with a customer that led to the divorce, he now lives full time with her and is a part of the kids live. That possibly led to her losing her job (not sure if she left on her own or was fired) and she now has a job that I’m assuming doesn’t pay as well but she has plenty still for trips, a very new large SUV, etc. She is insisting the suit is frivolous and is being done out of jealousy or revenge (yet it all pertains to the kids and was the last resort after she refused to work it out between us or use a mediator 🤷♂️). In all of our communications (which is all done via text), I have been nothing but kind, willing to work together and accommodating to schedule changes, etc. She has many instances of being controlling, agreeing to something and then doing the opposite, and has had a few instances of inappropriate things happening on her watch which she brushed off as no big deal and “kids being kids” (one kid was searching for porn and they both have had situations that involved inappropriate touching).
I don’t know if that is all enough background information or not because I still can’t quite wrap my head around the fact someone is fighting against putting barriers in place to protect both parents lines of communication and access to their social media accounts for supervision. But I guess my question is how does this likely play out? The money thing worries me because I have worked hard to get to where I am and she is the type of person that would go after their money to try to make her own life easier but I’d rather push this thing all the way than give in to intimidation tactics if that’s what it is.

sorry for the long post that's coming...
I am new to LLaMA but basically I want a LLM with my own data. Creating from scratch is not possible because it is way to expensive (and probably not needed). Other possibilities are "finetuning", "RAG" and "Embeddings". But I don't know which one of these is the best approach.
For example: I want to have a LocalLLaMa which I want to "feed" all Harry Potter Books and would be able to chat with the AI about these books.
If I understood it correctly, for RAG you have a json file with basically a question and the answer you want to feed to the modell. But that does not seem to be okay with books because there are no questions in books. RAG looks like a usecase if you have some kind of knowlegde base you want to feed. There you would have a question and an answer.
Embeddings might be the way to go. But can I "patch" a very large embedding Vector-File into any LLaMa? Or are there specific LLaMas for such cases?
I found a video on youtube where someone feeds a few receipts to the moddel to ask it about the sum of costs for diners.. but those were only a few data. I guess a 100 books are way larger...

I am new to LLaMA but basically I want a LLM with my own data. Creating from scratch is not possible because it is way to expensive (and probably not needed). Other possibilities are "finetuning", "RAG" and "Embeddings". But I don't know which one of these is the best approach.
For example: I want to have a LocalLLaMa which I want to "feed" all Harry Potter Books and would be able to chat with the AI about these books.
If I understood it correctly, for RAG you have a json file with basically a question and the answer you want to feed to the modell. But that does not seem to be okay with books because there are no questions in books. RAG looks like a usecase if you have some kind of knowlegde base you want to feed. There you would have a question and an answer.
Embeddings might be the way to go. But can I "patch" a very large embedding Vector-File into any LLaMa? Or are there specific LLaMas for such cases?
I found a video on youtube where someone feeds a few receipts to the moddel to ask it about the sum of costs for diners.. but those were only a few data. I guess a 100 books are way larger...

I’m shaking as this happened about an hour ago in my local park. Walking home with my 3 and 5 year old.
I can hear some barking across the field, probably 100m and look to see a large Staffordshire Bull Terrier sprinting towards us. When I realised it wasn’t going to stop,I put myself between the dog and my kids and started swinging my backpack to keep it away.
The whole time the “owner” who was elderly and used a walking stick, trundled over. He finally came and I unleashed all verbal hell on him, while his dog ran to ANOTHER dog walker and began barking at them. This sack of shit then hits me with his stick.
I wanted more than anything to tear him apart on the spot, but my kids aren’t going to see their dad sink to the level of this disgusting person. Oh yeah when the guy got him on the lead, he also hit the dog with the stick.
I called 999, he left the scene and I wasn’t about to trail my screaming kids after him. I filed a report with the police, and they’re on with looking for him now.
Ive never been more scared for my kids lives, it’s no joke and I sincerely hope that dog is destroyed. Not because it was the dogs fault, I want that man to suffer life without it. Sounds extreme but I’d have been mourning my kids if today went fractionally different.

I bought a bunch of USB flash drives from AliExpress for my business. At first it would ask me to format it into NFTS, not sure if that's normal, then it would get stuck and overheats. One of them ended up throwing the chip out. One of the problems with those USB drives was having very slow file transfer speed, and if the file was large it would get stuck and the USB disappears and never shows on the computer. Did I get scammed or did I do something wrong? Was it the long shipping trip? Is there a way to benefit from the USB drives I haven't checked yet... :''')?

I have a few questions regarding the submission of documents for an unmarried partner visa (no cohabitation due to work related reasons)
- What is the accepted format for submission? Is it okay to submit in PDF or PPT format? Additionally, can I include links, such as those for flight tickets or bookings, within the document or full pdfs of booking confirmation?
- For those who have submitted similar documents before, how long was your file on average? We're currently at 40-50 pages, and I'm wondering if that's typical or if we should aim for a different length.
- Is the proof supposed to be submitted online or on paper? Any insights on the preferred submission method would be really helpful. The UK gov website also states that if the sponsor partner wants to submit doc, they can do so at their local centre for a fee. Did anyone use this? If yes, for what?
- The document checklist at the end of the app clearly asks for proof of cohabitation (given the change in rules, is this a mistake?) While filling the app it did ask us if we have lived together and on choosing ‘No’ it asked us to provide a reason, which we did. So just a bit thrown by the cohabitation requirement in the checklist. Did anyone else in a similar situation have this?
- App also asks if we intend to marry or enter civil partnership in the UK - what did others who secured the unmarried partner visa successfully choose for this option?
- Given we are citing work related reasons for lack of cohabitation reasons, should we submit work contracts from both sides to showcase this too?
- Any extra tips for ensuring a smooth submission process or things to watch out for?
