I have a waste pipe (80mm) running down in a type of services duct in my kitchen. It takes up an enormous amount of space and I was hoping to realise some of it by having a plumber put 4 elbows in (as well as re-jigging some of the 32mm shower wastes a bit).
The hope is to maybe get a small-ish cupboard into some of the space.
At the moment it's gib-ed up with a cabinet blanking plate in front. But that's easily sorted.

Looking for design help! Would love your expertise. We just bought a Spanish style house and want to update/modernize the space. We’ve JUST moved in to an earth berm home, gorgeous location and nothing wrong with it except it being very ugly in the design department, so we bought it. The kitchen is in the back of the house (nearly totally underground) so there’s no windows or natural light at all. We’re doing a full kitchen remodel in a year and a half, but I’m wanting to paint the walls and cabinets to cope with it for the year. I was thinking Benjamin Moore simply white on everything and adding in some more lighting, but want some input before I expend all that effort. I’m mostly looking to brighten it up and make it look as good as I possibly can while not changing anything else. In the future, during the remodel, we will be adding in skylights and completely changing the layout, so this really is just me looking for advice for a short term improvement.
