The shark user sends a giant ghost shark chomp from their mouth while actually chomping their mouth, which deals damage to enemies nearby. The ghost chomp can travel for 10 seconds before despawning, chomping down on any enemies it passes, which deals AoE damage.

The explosion breaks Instinct.
Transformation Ver:
The shark user charges up a water blast from their mouth for half a second before shooting it out, causing it to surface which makes a big splash travel across the surface of the water. If touched, it deals ocean damage. If near the splash, it deals one time damage.

If they get caught in the Whirlpool, they have to dash or flash step to get out which can be tricky to do, as they are constantly being stunned and being rotated, while being sucked into the bottom of the ocean.
[B] Water Devils
The user summons 3 giant water twisters with mini sharks in them, which tend to move towards enemies. If an enemy is caught in one, it starts sucking them down into the water while dealing constant damage. This breaks instinct.
[M1] Chomp Bite
With a one and a half second cooldown, the user can chomp their jaws, which deals a small range of AoE damage.

I recently matched with this guy in bumble. In our first exchange of convo, he immediately asked if I am available to meet up with him. Of course I declined bc I have plans. We didn’t talk about anything but matching our schedules to meet up (I never met up with anyone in bumble btw). Then there came a time that our schedules agreed so we decided to meet up. We transferred from bumble to phone texts/calls (this was new to me, kinda old school lol). We had calls almost every night (yes, just at night) and he rarely replies to my texts. He just calls without notice like I am a free person lol. When we plan on meeting up, he would suggest to go to his place but I always reject that idea because I’m not comfortable going to someone’s place. I would suggest to go to a mall or a park instead.
Fast forward to few hours before meeting up (we decided to meet in a mall), he took a raincheck for an urgent meeting at work. I was pretty disappointed bc it was my first meet up and I kinda expected something fruitful for us to discuss. He was sorry and also explained his side. Moving to the next day, he invited me again for a quick meet up (he also suggested his place again for crying out loud!!!) but I also told him that I’ll be meeting up with my friend prior seeing him. He agreed to wait naman and meet on a resto side of the mall that we both knew. I kept updating him my status and if I have booked otw there then he texted raincheck again just because I already ate?? But still I inisted to meet up with him to have drinks. We had a great conversation and ended the night well. I got home and as usual, he called and ended the call quickly too. Then the next day, i found out that he unmatched me in bumble.
I didn’t go deep into the details but i also understand that he is a busy person but not to the point unmatching me. I’m not also generalizing guys but are there really guys out there who are like this? Do you just stop and move on immediately or just have a last convo to properly end this?

Hi everyone,
I am having some issues with this website that we have going on for this company. In elementor when I am editing, the website looks perfectly fine. But when I am logged out of WP and looking at the website from both Mac and PC, the website is showing this white bar at the top, and I can not for the life of me get it off of there.

I'm also having a really hard time with the header on the mobile view of our website. The person who started our site in the first place put these weird blue, grey and gold coloring on top of everything, and it just looks plain bad. The boss has asked me to change everything to these specific deep reds and blacks, and they are working on everything except the mobile site. I have the global colors looking correct, and everything, but it will not change from this awful blue colors. Does anyone have any tips?

Why is it that Indian bikers can't respect other's property. It just feels like nobody can stand to see others owning something good, when they can't, hence try to destroy it. Mera ni toh kisika bhi ni.
I've faced so many issues because of this, I'll explain a two of them below.
Incident 1: Had visited murugan idli shop in Krishnagiri. It is a common place for all the bikers. I parked my bike in the parking lot and few people approached me and started to talk about my bike, which is very common and i love to talk about it.
Later I left and went inside to have some food and from the distance i could see the same guys were near my bike and i thought everything was fine since they weren't touching or sitting on it.
But when I came back, i didn't see the guys anywhere but my mirror was BROKEN and was missing. My heart broke the moment I saw it and couldn't keep myself together on the way back. I had to order a new set of mirrors which costed about 5200 per mirror.
Incident 2: Was stuck in a slow moving traffic on Saturday, i was on the right most lane and there were only cars. When it started to move one middle aged uncle on splendor who looked like he was going back home from work came next to me on the left side, he maintained his distance at first but then as the traffic started to move he started to deliberately get closer to me even though there was space in the middle lane, at one point he was literally about an inch away, i honked and he backed away and i thought everything was fine.
Then he sudden braked and acted as if he lost balance and was gonna fall on top of me, him and his bike TOUCHED the left side of my tank faring and engine faring and he caught his bike mid way and pulled it up and he ran away before i could realised what happened!!
Luckily because of the PPF there were a few deep scratch and it should self heal soon.
These incidents has made me realise majority of the bikers are as*holes and I understand why people who own supercars come with a body guard escort.

On FB Marketplace, I had a guy who was interested in them but then he had to back out due to something coming up. On Kijiji, I almost had a guy scam me because he asked me to get him a $300 gift card on top of him paying me $300 for the headphones, as he was trying to get a gift for his sister after he comes back from the States as a surprise gift.

When Quicktalon finally woke up, his heart leaped to his throat as he noticed that the sun was beginning to set. A gruff voice chuckled to his alarm before he could act on his sudden panic, “Sit down, you crazy ostrich. You’re fine. Achira has been taken care of, the fire lit, and your dinner is near the fire to keep warm.” Quicktalon froze at the new voice, slowly turning towards the owner of this new visitor, but his eyes seemed to have been playing tricks on him. His brother Fleet was nearby and changing his sister’s bandages.
“Fleet?” he asked softly, his eyes still wide at seeing his battle-scarred brother. “H-how are you here?! The search party for the missing Drakes and Dragons left months ago!” he exclaimed, a grin growing as happy tears began to warm his eyes. It had been far too long since he had last seen his brother. “Well, we were on our way back from the most northern searches, and we found a few traces of what could have happened, but we need to send out another search party after we Rest and replenish our supplies. But I have heard the great news!” Fleet said as he hugged his brother, “ I’m so proud of you!” He exclaimed, pulling his brother into a hug, “I can’t believe you’ve grown so much from that little drake who never left our grandmother's side and always got into scrapes from running too fast.” He laughed softly.
Quicktalon chuckled at his brother’s lighthearted jesting, “ Grandmother always made healing fun and exciting, and I wanted to be able to follow in her talon steps and help those who helped us when we were little drakelings.” He said with a smile, “But now, I have a chance to truly save dragonkind from this dangerous threat, hopefully with getting this information out to the world and traveling to Scholar’s Whispering Peak, I can also get more information on what happened to our Grandmother and hopefully what had happened to our parents all those years ago.”
A smile ghosted Fleet's lips. He knew that something had happened to his grandmother; they had the signs and were Grandmother her. But the more his troop searched, and the more evidence was uncovered, the more serious this strange tail became. He hadn’t mentioned it yet to their pack leader. Still, Drakes across the savanna were going missing, some dragons and even the notoriously hidden Arctic dragons.
Dozens of Dragons of all kinds were going missing. The Sea Orcs were the only ones who witnessed this strange occurrence. They were too big for anything to happen to them, but the cause of the disappearing dragons needed to be uncovered and solved before the giant sea dragons began to disappear. But Fleet couldn’t ruin his brother’s excitement and joy over this. So, for now, he kept quiet and continued praising his brother for his magnificent discovery.
“I need to start getting ready. I’ve got a big trip ahead of me. I need to pack plenty of supplies and ensure I have enough to trade for a thick fur cover to protect me from the freezing temperatures at the summit of the Scholars Whispering Peak.” Quicktalon said, “I can’t wait to be able to spend more time with you and Achira as soon as she fully recovers from the effects of the viper.” He explained with a soft chuckle, “ but I will be back soon, hopefully before winter settles over the lands, which, with it being the middle of New Life, I should have time to make it to the coast and get assistance through the ocean and onto the nearest coastline on the other side.”
Fleet looked concerned at the plan his brother had just explained. " Are you sure that is safe? I’ve met traveling Sea Orcs and been told how long and perilous a journey across the sea can be for Drakes and Dragons of our size!” Fleet explained fear etched deep into his face as he couldn’t imagine his little brother in the middle of a raging and violent sea. “ It would be better to travel on land. You’d get there much safer and without the risk of your research getting ruined from the sea's moisture.”
Quicktalon took a moment to consider. Is a trip like that more manageable? Would it be safer to traverse land rather than sea? “Are there any maps I can get? Can you help me figure out a quick and safe journey from our home to the Scholars Whispering Peak? If the sea is too dangerous, I will need to figure out a different way to get to the scholars and hopefully get there before the snow season starts.” He said, “Do you know if the pack to our North sells maps of the continent and trade routes I could follow?” He asked while moving to a chest with chunks of gold and jewels he could trade for a map. He even wrote quick instructions for effectively healing and removing the venom from the bite of an Orid Viper. Fleet watched as his brother gathered enough items for trade; each pack had different trade requirements depending on the situation and status.
“Do you remember what they ask for trade?” Quicktalon asked as he set his collected gems and precious metals into a small side pouch strapped to his front right upper forearm. Fleet thought momentarily and tried to remember when his troop had last passed through the pack to the North. “ I believe they take both jewels and food, so we might want to stop and catch something for them to eat on our way over to the North Pack,” Fleet said as he sharpened his dull talons on a nearby rock, “ a water buffalo perhaps would be a good trade-off.” He said, “with the upcoming heat wave, they might appreciate more food for their youngins.”
“Then it's settled. Let's head to the North Pack and trade for a map for a trade route to Scholars Whispering Peak.” Quicktalon said, ensuring his research was set somewhere safe and out of the way of any potential spills or papyrus-eating worms. “Let’s go. The hottest part of the day is over for now, and the animals should be coming back from mid-day hibernation so we can snag a water buffalo on the way to them,” Quicktalon said while moving to give his sister healing wound a quick check-over. Once everything was in good shape, Quicktalon and Fleet left the medical hut. They began their journey to the North Pack and hopefully snagged a water buffalo on the way toward their destination.
Both brothers carefully left the medical hut and began looking around Earthquake to tell him where they were heading and their plan for QuickTalon to get to the Scholars Whispering peaks before winter hit. It wasn’t too hard to find the elder drake, as he was once again leading the younger drakes in battle practice for the potential war that seemed to be whispering on the horizon. “WATCH YOUR TALONS! FOR MOTHER DRAKE’S SAKE HEATSTROKE, DUCK! USE YOUR FIRE!” Earthquake shouted, drilling the almost grown drakes in new and much faster battle techniques. “Things must be getting worse if Earthquake is so worried about what’s been happening. It worries me.” Fleet murmured to QuickTalon, fear and worry evident on his face as he watched the young drakes practice their battle maneuvers as if they were currently fighting the actual enemy.
The mock battle went on for what felt like an eternity before Earthquake called for the young drakes to take a break and get a drink of water. “ Freshen up! Get a drink and take a moment to breathe! You must keep practicing if we ever need to go to war against this new and unknown enemy!” He commanded while walking over to see what QuickTalon and Fleet wanted to discuss. “ Welcome back, Fleet, and I’m happy to see that your search troop all came back with no casualties.” He said in greeting, “But what can I do for you both? I can see that there is something you both wish to tell me.” He said while peering down his snout at the younger of the group, “We plan to head to the northern pack and trade something of value for a trade route map to the Scholars Whispering Peaks. The initial route is dangerous, and the humid air could ruin my research.” QuickTalon explained, “With the scorching season rolling in, we thought bringing a water buffalo to trade for a map would be helpful.”
Earthquake seemed impressed by the current plan, “ while that is a good idea, the Northern Pack have been plagued recently by attacks from humans, or at least what seems to be left of that species; if you want to help, I’m sure food, water and medical attention will benefit them most.” He explained, “ but you both have my permission to go to the Northern Pack, just come back here, and I’ll help get you an assistant to stand in your place as a healer until your return.” Earthquake said, a smile gently ghosting across his snout, “now go on little ones, the sun is getting ready to set, and the water buffalo will be out to graze and drink at the nearby watering holes.” “Yes, sir, we will be back within three days,” QuickTalon said with a nod as he and his brother were dismissed and permitted to head off toward the Northern Pack.
With the dry dirt and plants crunching under their talons, QuickTalon turned and followed Fleet toward the Northern pack. “If humans are attacking them, what should we do if we see one?” QuickTalon asked after a long pause in the conversation, “Well,” Fleet started as if trying to recall a memory, “ my commander said that if you see a human, to kill on sight. While most humans are not dangerous to us as adults, they still threaten our young and elderly.” He explained, “Although I have yet to see a human, I have heard conflicting reports and statements about humans. Some are nice and have been seen helping others and the environment we live in, and some are on constant paths of destruction, burning, and taking like the worst of us dragons. Filled with greed and the never-ending satisfaction that they will never have enough stuff to put into their horde, they kill everything on their path to get what they want.”
QuickTalon’s eyes widened in both fascination and absolute horror at what he was hearing, and he had never realized that something so small and without fire or claws or just something to defend itself could be so destructive. “ But, is there a way to tell which ones are good and bad? Surely all of them can’t be rotten, can they?” He asked, jumping in fright when a breaking twig cracked nearby. “I’m sure there is, but for now, we’ve been told to just kill on sight.” He said softly, “ I know you want to help save the world, but you must remember, QuickTalon, that not everyone can or wants to be saved. You will need to know when to save yourself, and don’t let those who want to drown pull you under with them.” He said, eyes staring off into the distance, seeming to be looking at or hearing something out in the distance that only he could see. Quicktalon wasn’t sure how to respond to his brother’s worries. He was worried that his brother might know something more about this dangerous situation than he did, but he knew that he needed to keep his head clear and his eyes forward during this difficult time. “Brother, I know you are worried and want to find Grandmother, but spiraling off into the unknowns and the shadows will not help us find her. I believe in you and the others, but you need to take a breath and remind yourself where you are and your focus.” Quicktalon said, listening intensely to his surroundings while following his brother North. “ We will find Grandmother and the other missing Drakes, but for now, we need to rest our worried minds to start with a clean slate in the morning. If we let our brains become muddled, we could miss important details. So for now, let's just rest our heads and worry about finding a water buffalo and getting a map.”
Fleet sighed deeply, “You’re right, brother. Worrying about all the what-ifs has been muddling my mind. I’ve been so stressed over all of the potential possibilities I have lost the main focus of my mission. To bring the lost and the missing home.” He said, shaking his head ever so slightly as if trying to clear his head from the dark thoughts that had muddled his brain for many years. “ But I agree, let us get that water buffalo and trade for the map. Once we return and rest, my troop and I will follow you to the first trading post and head toward the North. Perhaps we might meet again on your journey.” Fleet hummed softly before snapping his gaze towards the direction of something he had heard. “Shh, I hear something!” He whispered while dropping into a low crouch and moving almost silently through the tall brush and grass toward the sound he had heard.
Quicktalon did the same and followed his brothers' movements. The grass hissed and crunched softly under their talons as they approached the top of a small hill. With careful movements, the brothers peered over the hill. The water buffalo migration had begun, and thousands of bison were resting around the large pond. “ The migration.” Quicktalon murmured, “Would it hurt if we managed to grab a few bison for the Northern pack?” He asked, “ I don’t know how many drakes are in the Northern Pack, but with the hot season approaching, maybe it would help to bring them a few bison to preserve before the migration leaves?” He asked if he knew they needed to preserve the circle of life, but he had no idea what the status of this other pack could be since it had been at least forty years since he had last seen the pack at the semi-annual Drake packs meet-up.
“Perhaps, although I don’t want to end up overwhelming the Northern pack with food. But I agree, with the scorching season approaching, packs will need as much food as possible.” Fleet murmured while slowly dropping into a hunter's crouch, “ I will go for the two deep in the water. You grab the one heading out.” He instructed, to which Quicktalon agreed. He adjusted his satchel and ensured his research was safe before waiting for his brother's signal. With a hiss, Fleet shot over the hill, running as fast as he found towards the two water buffalo in the water. Grunts, groans, and high-pitched bellows filled the air as the water buffalo panicked and ran away from the large drakes.
Thunderous hooves and cries filled the air as the buffalo pushed and shoved into each other while fighting to escape the predators. Quicktalon narrowed his eyes, planted all four talons to the ground, and lunged at the water buffalo. The bison bellowed in fear and swung its head, trying to gore Quicktalon with its horns, but with a sharp turn of his body, he narrowly managed to avoid the deadly horn and sink his teeth into the back of the buffalo’s neck. The buffalo’s wails increased before being silenced with a loud crack, its body falling limp in Quicktalon’s jaws and its head rolling loosely. Loud splashing drew the younger drakes' attention; the second water buffalo ganged up on his brother. With a roar of anger, Quicktalon dropped his fresh kill and thundered through the water toward the second buffalo. The second buffalo barely had time to react before Quicktalon threw himself on the bison’s back and began pulling on its horns to steer it away from his brother.
The bison bellowed angrily and bucked as hard as possible, trying to throw the younger drake off. But Quicktalon held on tight, and with an angry snarl, he gripped the horns tightly in his talons, and with a harsh twist and a loud snap, the bison’s neck was broken. The bison collapsed into the water with a splash. Quicktalon was breathing hard as he tried to catch his breath after such a stressful moment. Fleet growled as he finally managed to take down his water buffalo, “ Fleet, are you okay?” Quicktalon asked, moving through the water, the muddled water sloshing around his talons.
“ I—I’m okay, I just… need to catch my breath.” Fleet panted as he caught his breath. I don’t know why that was so difficult. It shouldn’t have been.” He panted while pushing himself up and moving to collect the two limp water bison. “Let’s get these to the North Pack. We are almost there.” He said while letting Quicktalon assist him with lifting the two freshly killed bison onto his back. “Alright, but as soon as you need to take a break, let me know,” Quicktalon said as he walked over to the water buffalo he killed and hoisted it onto his back.
Fleet nodded in agreement, and the two began the final leg of their trek toward the Northern pack. Crickets began to chirp and sing as the sun set, lighting the sky in a brilliant mixture of pinks, reds, and oranges. Quicktalon smiled, stared at the beautiful sky, and grew even more excited when the fireflies lit up and danced around the land. “ You’ve always enjoyed this time of year, haven’t you?” Fleet asked with a smile, “ I do. The beautiful sunsets, the lightning bugs, and the soft songs of crickets. It always brings me joy.” Quicktalon replied with a happy smile in return. “Whenever I am scared, I think of nights like this to help calm me down.” He explained with a soft chuckle, “Grandmother even painted me a painting of one of these nights. I still treasure that painting the most.” He said, reminiscing about when his grandmother gifted him the painting of his favorite sunset.
“We will find her, Quicktalon, I promise,” Fleet said as he gently shouldered his brother with a soft sigh. “ I know, Fleet, but I’m still worried. She vanished without a trace.” He said softly, shifting the weight of water buffalo on his back to accommodate for the extra weight. “ I believe you brother, but, I still cant’t believe that someone or something like this could have happened.” He murmured, “although I do hope that we can figure out what has happened and we can bring our grandmother home.” Quicktalon said as he tried to enjoy his favorite evening.
Fleet nodded, “ well, we are almost to the Northern Pack, hopefully they have something that can help.” He said, nodding his head towards the approaching lights in the distance, “ good, hopefully they can help.” Quicktalon sighed before a set of drakes in heavy armor thundered towards them, anger written on their faces. “HALT!” One of the guards roared. “W-whats going on?” Quicktalons asked, unsure of why the guards were so angry. “ Your grandmother and her pack of drakes destroyed our village!”

Hello. First, I would like to introduce my gender identity at this moment from what I’ve always been. I’m a transman that goes by he/him, and I’m bisexual. Also, this might be very long. Very long.
I’ve had this identity for at least years. The first time I came out was to my sister, when I told her “I don’t like to be a girl, or feminine, and I like the sound of being masculine or being called he/him, and I like this name”. She respected that, and I was happy that day, to which I told my trusted family members. And for those past years, I didn’t may no mind to it and I found it comforting. I wore more masculine clothing, did try to deepen my voice, and was really excited on the idea of starting HRT and getting surgeries.
Until, literally, about 5 days ago, I stumbled upon what “detransitioning” was. Now, I knew what it was and what it meant, and i remember the actual first time I heard of it, I expressed to my sister, “What if I turn out to be cis at the end like them, and I can’t turn back because of HRT and it’s irreversible changes it can do to my body?” She smiled at me and told me “If you turn out to be cis at the end of the day, why should that matter? It all on how you feel comfortable, and what you find most that identifies you. If you end up cis, it’s because you feel more comfortable that way.”
And I smiled back. I liked that answer.
At the time.
Coming back to now, I was scrolling through TikTok and stumbled upon a video of someone’s detransitioning. I completely respect those who detransition, and their journey on discovering themselves. But, it’s the stories that scare me. Some regretting transitioning because being trans was “a phase”, or “taking HRT destroyed me when I was young”, or “none of it was real”. (And those who even turn against the trans community, but that’s another story.)
Now, when I heard these stories and how they affected those who transitioned, I immediately started to become very paranoid.
“Am I trans enough? What if I just followed my friends? What if this is all really a phase? What if I turn cis all at the end, and all of this was just attention seeking? Am I attention seeking? Am I just a girl then?”
It was awful. But, I came over these thoughts, and realized no cis person would think this way. I didn’t mind being trans, and I didn’t like the thought of being cis again. But, when I thought of this, I would think “what if I’m lying to myself? What if I do like being cis?” But, I feel like I would know I like being cis.
Though, I can’t help but feel there’s this underlying sense that everything feels wrong about me, even though the stuff I identify with it the closest way I’ll ever explain my identity.
At most though, I went through this identity for a moment on what I liked, and here is what I like and don’t like:

1. I like being called by he/him, but I’m also getting very positive thoughts when being called they/them.
2. I only ever like to be masculine, wear masculine and act and dress that way as well, mostly with baggy clothes, tight tank tops and I really want a binder. At most, I’ll wear thigh socks, but I’m a little iffy on that really... I like a small stache, I like hair on my body, and my deep voice, and how my face looks masculine at times. For my hair, I want to get a wolf-cut, mullet, idk. I like this hair I have now.
3. I liked being treated as a boy, and whenever I see guys out in public, I always fantasize on being them. I always think “I wish I was chosen to be like that, so I wouldn’t have to exprienxe all of this. I wish I was born that.”
4. When I was younger, I loved playing dolls, dress-up, and wondering what kind of woman I’d be when I’d get older. I always thought of someone beautiful and tall. But, then I started to show more masculine sides once I started to like girls. I wore more hoodies, jeans, and never showed people my long hair. I only ever did once. But this is also kind of why I fear I “followed a trend”.

That’s the most I can think of right now. And the most I had interpreted it was, I was a non-binary transmasc. But the thing is, I hear non-binary people don’t mind themselves being their agab, though I haven’t met every non-binary person, haha.
I’m just scared, overall. I’m angry I’m having so much trouble with this. All of this. And lately, I’ve been having these thoughts I would never tell anyone.
At most my question is…”I don’t know who I am.” Sometimes, I think “what if this is the wrong life, and this soul I have was just forced to attach to it?”. It’s becoming so awful that I’m starting to become very existential. I’ve been questioning my existence.
At times, i don’t know if I’m comfortable as a girl, and when I think about me being one, I can’t. I don’t know what to think of it. When I think of myself as a boy, I feel guilty, and now I’m starting to not even feel connected to anything at all because of what’s happening through my head. I don’t have the balls (hah) to go to a therapist, and I’ve been like that for years, even as a kid I’ve suffered through the thought of “why am I here? Who am I?”
I haven’t been able to sleep. I dont like eating these past few days. I didn’t like waking up. Now I don’t even like to look at my own skin. Hell, now I feel weird whenever people started to call me by my preferred name and pronouns. I’m starting to now not even like things about my body now. I feel grossed out I feel angry, sad, scared, shaken up and worried. I love to dream because it feels like I’m away. Is this even being trans anymore? What the fuck is this? Do I miss being cis?
What if I’m lying to myself that I hate being trans? What if I’m lying to myself that I like being masculine? What do I like? Will I ever find who “me” is?
I don’t know who a “me” is.

Music Or Lose It hosts a monthly Best Song Of The Month contest at this musicorloseittv subreddit community. There is no cash or monetary value prize at this time. This contest is simply just for fun. Winners earn the enjoyment of being voted the best. Winners may cite the win in their biographies and social media posts.
The moderator (mod) is available to help music creators with the entry process, eligibility requirements, and deadlines. Music creators are allowed to contact the mod to ask questions about the contest anytime and mod will reply as soon as possible.
Definitions
Music creator: refers to a solo creator, band, group, choir, orchestra, or duo.
Brand identity: refers to how a creator presents themselves as an entertainer making music for the general public. For example, Simon & Garfunkel as a duo is one brand identity. Paul Simon solo is another brand identity.

Process & Deadlines

1) Discovery ◦ Each month, moderator keeps track of songs shared at this musicorloseittv community.
2) Notifying Music Creators ◦ When a likely eligible song is seen, the u/musicorloseittv profile or u/themusicfanman profile will notify the music creator of likely eligibility within the qualifying song’s post. The reply will indicate, “⏳ This song appears eligible for the Best Song Of The Month contest. Please provide the following information…” If the song is confirmed to be eligible by a mod, the mod will make a reply “🟨 This is confirmation notifying you that this song is eligible and in consideration for the Best Song Of The Month contest…” within the qualifying song’s post.
3) Determining Contestants ◦ The Music Fan man will evaluate all eligible songs by the month’s eligibility deadline. He will then at his discretion choose up to 5 songs to compete.
3) Finalists Post ◦ At this musicorloseittv community, the musicorloseittv profile will announce the top finalists (up to 5) in a post tiled “Contest: Best Song Of The Month Finalists (Insert Month & Year).” This announcement will be done in a post made 4 days before the final day of the month. The post will be made sometime in the morning. The songs will be listed within the post in a manner most representative of music diversity as determined by the musicorloseittv profile mod. All songs available on YouTube will be included in a playlist titled “Best Song Of The Month Contestants • (Insert Month & Year)” hosted by the musicorloseittv channel on YouTube. Songs not available on YouTube will be excluded from the playlist. The playlist will be mentioned in this post. The available playlist will help voters get familiar with the songs.
The u/musicorloseittv profile or u/themusicfanman profile will notify the music creators of qualifying for the contest in their post of the song. The reply will indicate, “✅ Congratulations. Your song qualifies for the Best Song Of The Month contest…”
4) Voting ◦ The “Contest: Best Song Of The Month Finalists (Insert Month & Year)” post will specify a duration of 3 consecutive dates during which music fans can vote for only 1 of the top finalists. Voting occurs by the voters making a reply to the post in the following manner: “🗳️ I vote for….” Failing to vote in this manner will result in vote not being counted. To best ensure vote accuracy, voters must not use the “🗳️” emoji anywhere else in the post’s comments section. Music creators may vote for another music creator yet may not vote for themselves. For music creators, it’s “word of honor” voting. The top vote earning song within these three days will become the winner.

Almost done configuring my new T480. Finished getting Manjaro installed and all of my usual binds set up and I finished getting firmware upgrades installed. The only thing left is an issue where the laptop takes forever to wake up from sleep when I either suspend or close the lid.
I have absolutely no clue what's causing this. The device boots from cold faster than it wakes from sleep. Not only this I was going back to my t430 with an almost identical install and the t430 wakes from sleep almost the instant you open the lid?!?! so what the hell is going on?
The only differences between the two machines are the t480 has the stock nvme and the t430 has a samsung sata ssd. additionally the t480 has a dual install with windows 11 installed on a separate partition as this was the os the device came with. I figured it was nice to have a free copy of windows 11 and I figured I'd leave it installed in case I ever need it for something but I mainly run to manjaro. Noteworthy - win11 wakes from sleep instantly so it's just a manjaro issue

Hey, figured I'd share my tonsillectomy experience because this sub was a great resource for me leading up and after my surgery.
I had surgery on May 2, after quite a bizarre experience with my tonsils. I've had tonsil stones for as long as I can remember, but as everyone here can attest to, ENTs and doctors don't really treat stones. Also, at about the base of my left tonsil, the tissue had hardened a bit, and I suspected that I had a tonsil stone wedged deep that I could feel. After seeing about four ENTs and two oral surgeons, they all gave me the same recommendation: get those suckers yanked out.
I still wasn't convinced so I asked about getting some imaging done (I'm in the US with good private insurance, so relatively easy to schedule, but still decent $$$). I got an MRI and it didn't show anything nefarious, but interestingly enough the tech noted a "lesion" on my right tonsil, the one that felt perfectly fine. Given this new information my ENT suggested a tonsillectomy because it was really the only option I had left and every other doctor suggested the same.
I scheduled my surgery and soon enough the day came. I've had surgeries before (2x ACL, 1x meniscus over a 30 year soccer 'career') so I knew what to expect. I didn't anticipate being in the surgery center with 6 year olds as I was the only adult getting the procedure that day!!
Day 1: They wheeled me back and knocked me out, and when I woke up I remember being surprised that the pain I was in was probably a 9/10. My second ACL surgery was like an 11/10 when I woke up (interestingly enough my first ACL surgery was like 3/10) so I was initially surprised how uncomfortable I was.
They fed me ice pops and gave me ice water and tried talking to me, but before I knew it, I was on my way home. In the US, if you go to a private surgery facility, they generally wheel you out within 10 mins of waking up.
The rest of the day was pretty brutal as swallowing was uncomfortable, but my mouth kept filling with saliva so I essentially had to keep drinking water and swallowing, which wasn't great. Eating was completely out of the question, but I had stocked up on some ready to drink protein drinks that kept me relatively satiated. I kept to a pretty strict medicinal schedule which helped me sleep a bit.
Day 2: Still uncomfortable but the pain was significantly less, maybe a 5-6/10. I took about 5ml every 4-5 hours of liquid oxycodone and caught up on Vanderpump Rules. I kept a large cooler by my bed stocked with ice from Sonic, Alo Water, protein drinks, a million water bottles and ice packs. I had a couple of ice pops, but honestly, I just didn't have any appetite for ice cream or ice pops or the like. Ice cold water and the Alo Water were great.
Day 3-4: Pain was about a 4/10 and getting better. I kept to the same schedule for medicine, trash TV shows, and water + ready to drink protein. My wife made me some pastina pasta with butter and although it took me 45 mins to eat a couple of spoonfuls, it did a lot for my mind. I also ate one scrambled egg, but it took me a while. I also had my bowel movement! This is very important after surgery!! Please take some stool softener!!!
However, on Day 4 right before bed around midnight, I "spit" (aka let drool fall out of my mouth) and noticed blood in my saliva. My doctor just said to call if you see any bright blood in your saliva and I noticed it more and more, but not a lot of volume. Of course I freaked out and called at 1am, but my understanding is that a little blood is ok and should resolve itself with ice water and ice gargling. It's really only if your mouth is filling with blood rapidly that you should head to the hospital.
Day 5: I woke up out of a decent sleep at 4am not in pain, but seriously uncomfortable, like my throat and mouth were incredibly sore. The painkillers really helped and I felt like I had taken a step back in the recovery. I could start to talk a little bit more, but nothing more than a couple of whispered sentences at a time.
Day 6: Still sore, but I remember feeling like I turned a corner finally.
Day 7: Back to work! I work hybrid so I was home to recover and didn't have any problems concentrating or typing or anything. I had only been taking the painkillers maybe once a day, usually at night.
I'm a little over 2 weeks now and I feel as though I'm completely back to eating normally and speaking normally, though I can't talk too loud or for too long. After living with tonsil stones for so long, my mouth feels a lot cleaner if that makes sense.
No regrets on the surgery. Looking back, spending time in front of a mirror pushing calcified food particles out of crevices in your mouth is a wild way to spend your time. The recovery was tough I'm not gonna lie, but it is relatively short.
I found myself just like drooling saliva out of my mouth over a sink because I didn't want to swallow anymore. Ice cold water makes swallowing way more tolerable so try to always have ice cold water on hand at all times. I drink water like a psychopath so I was super hydrated, to the point where I was peeing every 45 mins the first two days. I couldn't imagine being dehydrated and trying to recover.
If I could do it over again, I would brew more tea with plenty of honey and let it cool down and then drink it cold. Honey is basically a wonder drug but I didn't utilize it enough in the beginning.
I found and downloaded a text to speech app, which was pretty handy. My kids loved it.
Here are some essentials that other people have mentioned here but I'll list them below. Good luck!!
Pillow Wedge for elevated sleep - I actually still use this as I enjoy sleeping a bit elevated now
Alo Water with Honey - I didn't realize there are clear pieces of aloe vera "pulp" in the drink, which was a super weird experience. I wound up straining the pulp out. Also, try to cut this with water, there's an insane amount of sugar in the huge bottles and you don't want any unnecessary discomfort while you're trying to recover.
Warm and Cool Mist Humidifier - I already owned this and I had it running basically 24/7. I still woke up with a dry mouth which is kind of miserable, but I think it would've been worse if I didn't have this.
Fairlife Core Power Protein Drinks - 26 or 42 grams of protein is amazing when you're recovering. They are a bit expensive, so I picked up a case of the Fairlife Nutrition Plan from my local Costco.
Sonic Pebble Ice - Pebble ice is so much better than regular ice from a freezer or if you're freezing a tray. I don't know why. It's so much easier to chew and it's so much more satisfying to put in your water, especially recovering from a tonsillectomy. If you don't leave near a Sonic, try to find pebble ice somewhere!
Miralax, 7 Once Daily Doses - You NEED a stool softener. The opioids will back you up. The worst part of my ACL recovery was that first bowel movement. I didn't stay on top of my stool softener game. You gotta get that first BM out of the way ideally within like 2-3 days.
RTIC 52 QT Cooler - It's not necessary to have a $200 cooler next to your bed, but if you already have a nice one like a Yeti or RTIC, I'd definitely recommend keeping it near where you are recovering.
Tongue Scraper - I didn't brush my teeth for like 3 days and I felt awful about it. I'd recommend at least a tongue scraper to keep up on the hygiene.
Ice Pack Head Wrap - I thought I would use this more, but it came in handy on days 5-6. I didn't need it, but I'm glad it was around.

I was kind of bored, so I decided to write this story about Sunny and Nephis, as if it were a description of the Nightmare Spell. It turned out longer than expected. It was quite fun to write; I noticed some parallels that I hadn't seen before. I hope you enjoy it, and sorry for any mistakes; English is not my native language, so I had to use ChatGPT to translate.
A shadow wandered alone over a desolate world, without a master or anything else, only with the clothes on its back. Surrounded by darkness, the shadow found a star. This star had such a strong and beautiful glow that the shadow couldn't help but be enchanted by it. So, the shadow made a decision that would change its life and decided to follow the star.
As they wandered through the desolate world, the star and the shadow got to know each other better, making the shadow realize that, even though their natures were so different, they were not as different as they seemed. Neither had anything that tied them to the world, both had been exposed to cruelty from an early age. While one had been banished from the light, the other had been banished from the shadows. The shadow learned the art of the sword from the star; meanwhile, the star learned the art of deception from the shadow. This complementary duality made the shadow and the star unbeatable together. So, the shadow decided that he would also remain in that desolate world, as together they were stronger. But the star, who would have previously used the shadow's strength with a smile on her face, did not want the shadow to risk his life. Just as the shadow had tied himself to the star, the star had tied herself to the shadow. So, in her selfish fear that the shadow would lose his life, the star sealed the shadow's fate, becoming his master and ordering the shadow to flee. Having his freedom taken away, the shadow cursed his destiny and made it his sworn enemy. The shadow, obsessed with the star and knowing it was only a matter of time before the star emerged from that desolate world, fought to become stronger than the star. However, the shadow always remained behind the star, and when he finally managed to surpass her, the star emerged from the desolate world, this time stronger than ever.
After such a reunion, the shadow and the star tried to ignore the existence of the cursed chains that bound them, but this did not last long. After an argument, the shadow fled from the star to an icy desert, this time determined to become stronger than the star. After facing various adversities in the cursed icy desert, the shadow and the star met once more and once again showed the world what they were capable of doing together, making the impossible possible. But after the battle, cornered, both the shadow and the star had to flee to a place where time flowed like a river. There, together, they fought against various adversities once again, and this time, more mature, the shadow could finally understand and accept his feelings towards the star: “I love her.”
However, deep down in his mind, the shadow could hear his own madness shouting a truth he did not want to accept: “Is there anything more pathetic than a slave who begins to trust his slaver?” The shadow, knowing this truth, decided that he would do everything possible and impossible to break the cursed chains so that he could be with his beloved star. So, the shadow turned his back on everything and everyone and sailed to a place where time did not exist, and over the grave of someone who was forgotten, he had his destiny taken. Without a destiny, there was no place for the cursed chains to bind. However, this came at a high price, a price the shadow did not know and did not want to pay: oblivion. Being forgotten by everything and everyone, including his beloved star, the shadow abandoned his own happiness and returned to the desolate world. There, he chose a place where the light reigns sovereign to establish his small shadowy kingdom and there he waited until the day he could reunite with his beloved star.
This is the story of the one who once bore the forgotten name of Lost from Light, the legitimate heir of death and the bastard son of destiny.

I just put in 12 hours this weekend, from just after discovering terminal Victor. I... didn't have a great time.
Most of the advertising that really hooked me was the Base Building update and its beautiful buildings. I've played enough of these kinds of games (Satisfactory, Factorio) to know I should unlock the architecture parts first, then I can build my beautiful bases once and not have to go back to rebuild them. I also put monorails on my list, because they seemed like the best way to link up long-distance bases that would let me specialize production at each base.
But I didn't find X-Ray for hours! It was entirely detached from the main cave system and when I found it I realized unlocking pretty architecture was going to consume a lot more resources and planning effort than the main quest (again, I was only looking at Victor T1 by this point). But I tried for the first tier, at least, to see what I could unlock. The result was that I had a base at X-Ray that was making more parts than at Victor and I felt I needed to set up a monorail ASAP to get my bases operating correctly.
So, 100 blue cores later I built the depot, worked out the towers, and built a monorail halfway back to Victor. I decided the Red Vine cavern was central enough for a bunch of shuttle monorails to converge. I tested out the monorails and... they were extremely annoying.
I need to pause here and throw in loads of positives: I like that there are lots of intermediate parts, I like that the game hits the sweet spot of simple AND complex at the same time. I love the ambience, I love the terraforming (especially the HUD that took the guesswork out of carving up rock. Kudos to that dev!) I love all the plants and how it feels like rooms have a temperature. I love how all the caves are memorable so after a few walks I stopped getting lost and could recognize where rivers and tunnels went. I love the clunky, chunky dieselpunk aesthetic. I love that assemblers are 2x4 and encourage puzzle-solving to optimize inserter use! I love that everything glows, except for the dark factory caverns I carve out myself. I love that this game made brutalism and a dash of art deco go great together. I love the voice acting (although it does tend to be a little startling, maybe it needs a little radio static before and after?)
All of that is to, hopefully, convince whoever's reading this that I am no hater and I want this game to be the best in its niche. So here's the rant:
The monorail sucks. It runs contrary to an open-ended game experience about building multiple bases and encourages early players to build km-long conveyor systems instead. It's expensive, deep in the tech tree, power-hungry, logistically broken, and doesn't provide a good alternative to walking. Thankfully, almost all of these are easy fixes:

1. The monorail's need for electricity on both ends means it isn't meant to connect non-powered bases (like a dedicated mining and smelting operation) to powered bases. The rule of thumb for every other factory game has been "you shouldn't have to move resources to move resources", so I think making monorails only need one power source (or letting them run on fuel) would create more gameplay than it would remove.
2. The monorail is too deep in the tech tree, and players will want to start specializing and inter-meshing bases before they have the best tools for the job. Personally, I think Blue Science (where players have to automate mining, smelting, threshing, fueling, and about a dozen assemblers in a row) is too complicated to be completed in one base so I'd suggest dropping this back to Purple Science.
3. I already covered "power-hungry", but here's another suggestion that occurred to me: let an upgraded version of monorails function as high-voltage cable? That way extending to a new base only requires 1 hand-made connection.
4. The monorail models look great, but in operation the whole system looks wrong. The trains move way too fast, stockpile too slowly, spend too much of their station animation stalling, and frankly look ridiculous when the entire line is stuffed with trains each carrying 1 or 2 items. I can't imagine using these for more than 1 item type each way...so why not use conveyors instead? Here's a spitball: if you're sticking to 3 cars (and I'm going to suggest 4 in a minute) why not let players configure each car's item, and then the train only loads and launches the cars that are full on this end and empty on the other end. If a monorail can deliver and receive 3 or 4 different items (or belts worth of items) without any clog stopping the others I would use them no matter how much menu work I had to do to set them up.
5. Riding the any transit in games means letting go of gameplay and being subjected to a show. That means the experience must be enjoyable and brief, and currently it's neither. I feel like I'm getting decked by every pole I sail by while trains move way faster overhead. It also means that looking up at the trains keeps most of their design obscured by the tracks, which isn't ideal, and I'm tempted at every moment to let go, drop 1 foot, and just walk. The change I suggest is going to sound extreme, but I am certain it will be more enjoyable: flip the trains upside down and put the player on top. Suspended monorails are objectively cooler and will contrast nicely with the upward-facing conveyor belts. Letting the player use the top of the depots as launch pads onto a roller-coaster-slash-roller-skate experience will encourage verticality in construction and excavation... or they can opt out of the personal transport and keep the rails right up against the cave roof with no more clipping issues. This would simplify loading and unloading animations as well, hopefully giving us a 4th train car and improving the inter-base transit value of the monorail.

Okay "I'm just the idea guy"-rant over. I know the devs don't need ideas, and have much better ways to spend their limited time on the game. This is just my special interest and I wanted to share, just in case.
Back to progression though, I've ended the weekend moderately stressed out instead of relaxed. I feel like putting aesthetics behind an arbitary number of arbitrary tasks in a game about efficiency was the wrong move and I hope the devs move architecture from end-game content to the beginning. I'm just... so tired of scanning the ruins. This is a mining automation game where I'm gathering concrete blocks by hand. What went wrong?
