 | Stay with me on this one because it takes a few leapsā¦ submitted by Magical_Narwhal888 to Teddy [link] [comments] I think Marie is supposed to represent GME because of the Run Lola Run reference and Matt Damon is supposed to be BBBY becauseā¦ in Stuck On You his character was named Bob (Bobby), yes itās a stretch but it works for me at this point. Especially because that movie is about adult conjoined twins (very important spoiler alert) who finally decide to get separated after years of being attached at the hip (bed bath and baby). Sheās telling him to run with her but since he (bbby) isnāt listed anymore he says he canāt run with her. He also says he doesnāt know who he is which could be a reference to bbby changing into something else (butterfly) and in a more existential way, because in the chrysalis the caterpillar liquifies before forming into a butterfly, so depending on what part of the story DFV is telling here bbby might literally not know what it is. Anyway, heās talking about trying to do the right thing for her (GME), and sheās talking about telling them (us/the world) āwhat happenedā, possibly related to all of the docket drops this week and the lawsuits that were filed a couple of weeks ago. I also think it has to be indicating something that he changed the font and the style of the title for the line ānobody does the right thingā but my foil only goes so far on that one, if any of you have some ideas about that. I think this makes even more sense given that they drive into the deck underground (cellar boxing) as has been pointed out by others, especially since there is a no exit strategy sign over the entrance. Last, I think the shift to Ryan Gosling at the end is a throwback to the earlier days of GME (yes the account Iām posting this from is new, but Iāve been in this since January ā21, I just donāt want to post from my personal account) when people referred to the story of the frog and the scorpion, with the frog representing GME and the scorpion the shorts. In Drive many people agree that Gosling is the frog (especially since he wears the scorpion image on his jacket and is therefore carrying the scorpion on his back as in the original story). In case you donāt know the story, it is a fable with the message that evil people canāt help but hurt others even when doing so would hurt themselves (like the dumbasses who keep shorting these companies into oblivion with no regard to who they hurt in the process): Hereās the story from Wikipedia: āA scorpion wants to cross a river but cannot swim, so it asks a frog to carry it across. The frog hesitates, afraid that the scorpion might sting it, but the scorpion promises not to, pointing out that it would drown if it killed the frog in the middle of the river. The frog considers this argument sensible and agrees to transport the scorpion. Midway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog anyway, dooming them both. The dying frog asks the scorpion why it stung despite knowing the consequence, to which the scorpion replies: "I am sorry, but I couldn't resist the urge. It's my character."[1]ā Hopefully things end better for all of us than Drive did for anyone in the movie (another spoiler alert?) and certainly than Marie, but since these are isolated clips, I donāt think DFV was going there, I just think he was reiterating that the shorts will burn everything down if they feel that they have to to win. |

TLDR: in a generally chaotic lifestyle, I'm going through an extra chaotic period. I think having my own hangboard setup may help me create more consistent training conditions, but I need help identifying the proper routine before I can pick the setup.

My specs:
- Lifestyle: high variance in workload. I live between two cities and regularly travel elsewhere for work. On top of that, I'm currently traveling non-stop for 5 months.
- 6 years climbing on-and-off, experimenting with a diversity of disciplines. Bouldering is my favourite.
- V5-V7, 6b sports plateau indoor. Outdoors: I have no idea, I haven't been outdoors in 18 months. But I'd like to change that.
- Strengths: good technique basics, strong large muscle groups, flexibility
- Weaknesses: coordination, hip placement in upward dynos, finger strength due to lack of consistency
- Training environment: a wide diversity of gyms depending on where I am, with little to no consistency in setups - including hangboard setups.
- Clear 4 tops in Moonboard V4 benchmarks by August 2024 (progress with that one's going faster than expected, though my fingers still can't take more than 4-5 tries at a time, when I do stumble upon a Moonboard)
- Send Bonne Mine and Meilleure mine in the Fall of 2024 - two 6C Font roof borders, with lots of upward edges. I can't visit before mid-September, but then I'll have opportunities to come back at least once a month.
- 3-session rotation // 1. Power and Limit on big holds + general conditioning // 2. Hangboard repeaters + volume bouldering // 3. Single-session projects
- Ideally on a 7days cycle, but I'm traveling for with my non-climbing partner, so closer to a 9days cycle if I'm being honest.
- 20min yoga session and a basic core module every 2-3 days, in the morning.
- This is new for me, I'd never used a hangboard before the current cycle.
- Repeater routine: 7s on, 3s off, 6 reps per set // 1 set on jugs (warm up) // 2 sets BW on 40mm // 3 sets with largest resistance band available on 20mm.
- I complete it every time, though the last reps of the last two sets on 20mm feel like max and my form is probably less than stellar then.
- Am I correct in my assumption that hangboarding sessions, combined with traditional bodyweight conditioning, can be somewhat of a substitute for a session when my lifestyle prevents me from going to the gym/crag ?
- If yes, I feel like a portable hangboard may be a good first investment. I do however worry that most (all?) of them offer thin edges that may be inappropraite for my current finger strength. Any concerns about using one as a primary hangboarding tool due to edge size or holds spacing?
- How concerned should I be about my inability to maintain perfect form for the very last reps of my current routine, considering I'm still seeing progress after two months? If there is indeed a concern, does that feed into the question above?
- Final question: should I have a fixed setup in my primary home to use as a more stable training environment when I'm there, considering I intend to hangboard once a week regardless?

Source: GApps Flags & Leaks-, some text changes. Beta 2 includes API-related updates from ICU 74. The font file for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean is now a variable font. Thereās now a font file for the Japanese Hentaigana font. TextView now allocates additional width for cursive fonts or language characters with complex shaping that may otherwise get clipped.
- Android 15 will block users from installing apps with a target SDK version ā¤ 23. Previously, Android 14 blocked apps with target SDK version ā¤ 22.
- I previously reported, Android 15 is adding support for 16 KB page sizes. Google says devices with larger page sizes can see improved performance in memory-intensive workloads. Apps with NDK libraries will likely need to be rebuilt to work on these devices.
- 15 includes ANGLE as an optional layer for running OpenGL ES on top of Vulkan. The move to ANGLE will standardize the Android OpenGL implementation. Going forward, ANGLE will be shipped as the default GL system driver on more new devices with the goal for GL/ES to be only available through ANGLE.
- devices that donāt have a HW AV1 decoder, VideoLANās SW AV1 decoder (dav1d) can be utilized. As I previously reported, dav1d is a highly efficient and performant AV1 decoder. Itās included by default in Android 15 but is available on Android 11+ devices through a Play System Update. However, apps have to opt in by invoking dav1d by name for now.
- Improvements to the security of intents. Intents that target specific components must match the targetās intent-filter specifications. Intents without an action will no longer match any intent-filters.
- Foreground services that rely on the SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW permission exemption for background starts are now required to have a visible overlay when targeting Android 15.
- dataSync and mediaProcessing foreground service types now have a ~6 hour timeout after which the service is no longer considered a foreground service. If the service doesnāt stop itself, itāll get stopped with a failure.

So Iām trying to print simple text on black vinyl to put in a shadowbox for a year end teacher gift but Iām seriously getting stuck at the san serif text and how I connect them so that when I cut it on my Cricut itās all one piece and not letter by letter. Does that make sense? The cursive font Iāve got all connected but how do we handle that with block letters? I canāt use transfer tape bc Iām putting it on a cardboard base so it will tear the paper.
Iām sure Iām overcomplicating this. Am I? Am I just not thinking about this clearly?

Whatever it was, it affected you, and only you. You were transported to a new realm, a new universe, one completely unrecognizable. Wherever you were, you seemed to be in the middle of a city. A very... vast city, it seemed. Many odd people flooded the streets, ones who bared horns, others who flew, and people who looked impossibly fictional. The sky and surrounding city seemed to stretch on forever, roads and buildings covering everything. The sky was made of pure light, making everything have a new-looking sheen to it. Everything looked... oddly modern. But this place ā it was not for you. It was far from home. Scrambling the streets to find somewhere less crowded, with less weird-looking people, you stumble across a store. In a fancy cursive font, the sign above the doors read "Aderyn Sisters: Jewelry," and luckily for you, the store looked fairly vacant. Checking for an "open" sign (which you eventually found), you stepped into the store, even if just for a breather away from the things out in the city, and heard a bell above the door ring. From behind the counter, a woman speaks. "Welcome to Aderyn Sisters: Jewelry. You're at D.R. Jewelry, the brightest gem of all stores among the immortal realm, and..." She paused in the middle of her (very obviously scripted) welcome and sighed tiredly, "...you get the jist, I'm sure." She hadn't even glanced in your direction. While writing the shops for each character, my mind wandered and I had a thought, what if there were hobbies like in 'Blush Blush'. Leveling up these hobbies would give rewards such as intimacy multiplier, icons, bonuses, and cards. I'm a yapper, so this is going to be long. So I was looking through AO3 define a fanfiction cuz I was bored and something that just drives me insane so much is when authors side to use like fancy lettering that are really hard to read in their summaries cuz I'm dyslexic so I already have a hard time reading a lot of stuff but then when you use fonts that are like cursive or Don't know what it's called but this is literally a word directly from the one I saw that made me want to talk about this "ššššš " I don't know what this font is called but it drives me insane It is so hard to read please I am begging you if you are making a summary please put it in regular font

Do you remember Microsoft 3D Movie Maker? A free demo of it came with Windows 95. If you really liked it, you could buy the full version on CD-ROM. Basically, you could make your own 3D movies using preset actors, props, and scenes. You could even add your own dialogue & sound effects using the computer's mic. It was such a hit that it developed its own cult fanbase.
A little-known fact is that if you go to the intro page of the talent book and type in āsocrates,ā you'll find a live-action featurette on the making of 3D Movie Maker, originally known as āProject Socrates" to the developers. It's a pretty fun watch, and I highly recommend it!
What I do not recommend, however, is āProject Caligula.ā
I am (very begrudgingly) going to explain the process by which you can access Project Caligula. To start, you must make a movie, choosing Misty City as the scene, and the small cafƩ as the camera angle. As a prop, select the sphere, color it red, flatten it all the way, and put it under the left most table. As actors, select S'kelly and Augustin. Change Augustin's outfit to the tuxedo and put him in front of the cafƩ door, between the tables. Place S'kelly horizontally at his feet. You can do this using the adjustment tools in the part of the toolbar that is initially covered up.
Next, change the music to āGeist Evil Theme.ā Select the Sound effect āLaugh Maniac" and place it on Augustin. Finally, make his action āAt Rest" and have him stay like that for EXACTLY 17 frames.
Conclude by clicking āNew Movie.ā A prompt will ask you if you want to save your movie. Do so and save it as ācaligulaā (all lower case, no quotes). When the screen comes up, go to āOpen Movie" and select caligula. Unlike other movies, whose preview pics are the first frame of the film, the screenshot will be a 3D graphic of the phrase āWelcome To Hell" in the font Bloody (which is not available in the original edition of the game) in front of a black background.
When you open the movie, instead of the preview pic, you will see a blood red background. Again, this is the first of many things you'll see that are not presets of the game. Clicking play will play 21 frames of the screen with an off-key version of Lacrimosa by Mozart playing on piano in the background. The screen will then spiral wipe to the actor Bongo in front of the black background for 13 frames. Then, his skin appears to melt off quite graphically, followed by subsequent layers of muscle, tissue and even organs, until it reaches the skeleton. This skeleton, unlike the default S'kelly, looks eerily... wellā¦
ā¦like it belongs to Bongo.
The shape, lines, and even proportions, are fitted to Bongo's unique build. The music gradually fades, replaced with a crescendo of tortured screams. The skeleton then opens its mouth and says one of the preset lines:
āThose bullies won't bother me now!ā
While this IS a line attributed to Bongo, the line is distorted to sound deep and very demonic.
The final thing you see is a text in front of one of the basic backgrounds from the Nickelodeon edition of 3D Movie Maker. The front is hard to read, not only because the color almost completely blends in with the background, but also because it's in a strange font. When translated, it reads:
āLet all those who see this film beware! For whosoever seeks to make it their own shall suffer a fate worse than death.ā
I had heard about a member of the 3DMM community who did try to modify the movie, so I found out where he lived to ask him about it. When I got there, the lawn looked like it hadn't been mowed for days, and there was several days worth of mail & papers present. I knocked on the door, but no one answered.
I looked in a nearby window and saw that most of the house was covered in blood, urine, feces, and various entrails. I opened the door only to have the severed torso of the person I was seeking fall towards me. His skin was gone, as were his legs & hips, he was covered in blood, and I thought he was dead.
Until he grabbed my ankle and gasped:
āWhyā¦ why won't he let me die?ā
āWho,ā I asked.
āEā¦ Edgarā¦ā
I called 911 immediately. The doctors made a startling discovery when they examined him: A piece of his brain was missing. According to some psychologists, this part of the brainā¦
ā¦alerts the body when it dies.
As to the identity of Edgar, according to my research, he was apparently a programmer for Microsoft working on Project Socrates. He was fired for making horrifically graphic movies and later committed suicide. His suicide note read:
āYou'll regret this."

So, I've been trying to learn how to write in Old Roman Cursive, but there seems to be many different ways to write each letter, and the sources I've been using seem to conflict on almost all of them (A is the only letter that seems to actually stay the same throughout all of them). The person on this 9 year old Reddit post said he used the the second link I provided, but the detailedpedia source and the first YouTube link both seem to use the same letters (the omniglot and dartmouth links also use the same letters), so that's two sources that actually agree... originally I was actually going to compare each letter with each source and use the form for the letter that the most sources used, but I don't want to accidentally mix dialects or something, and end up writing E's like I'm from Ostia while writing my P's like I'm from Pompeii, or anything like that.
Anyway, what do you guys think? How should I pick which source to rely on? Or is there other sources that are more accurate than these, that I should be looking at?
