There used to be a YouTuber I used to watch back in either 2012 or 2013, when I was still in high school. I don't remember what the channel's name was, but I remember that he was Asian, probably in his late teens or very early 20s at the best and mainly did videos in his basement. I largely remember him for a specific series he did, called 'Franchise Failures', a series in which he did Nostalgia Critic-esque reviews of movies that 'flopped' that were part of a popular franchise.
He did reviews on movies such as The Last Airbender, Godzilla (1998), Halloween 2 (Rob Zombie), Harry Potter And The Order of the Phoenix, GI Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, etc.
I just remembered him recently, and tried to go back to these videos for nostalgias sake, but I couldn't find anything when I looked up Franchise Failures or anything relating to him, as if he just vanished outright. I fear that he might have deleted his channel all together, and I don't really know how well-known or popular he even was. This was back in early 2010s, when being a YouTuber was still kind of a niche thing and small creators were much more abundant, so it's entirely possible he just went under the radar.
Still, if anyone knows about this kid, or if you have copies of his videos if he did take his channel down, please let me know! I'd love to watch them again.

I'm asking this question because I have been seeing lots of posts about racism in America, mostly in the South but also in places like San Francisco and Brooklyn. I recently saw a TikTok from a black woman from Georgia, and she was talking about how her husband encountered a racist man who kept calling him the N-word. I found it horrifying, but once she said it happened in Georgia, I wasn't surprised at all considering all the racist stories I've heard from black Americans who grew up in the South or just America/Europe in general.
I always see posts on here about black people experiencing racism, how black people in America are in poverty, working paycheck to paycheck, unable to find jobs due to racism, and how we can't go about our day-to-day lives without experiencing it. I think it's truly sad how common racism is, but the one thing that I don't understand is why don't more black people just leave? Why continue to stay here and deal with this BS? Why not just leave and go somewhere where we are wanted and treated with respect? I know that there are already black people that have left the USA, but they are "weird" black people that went to Europe or Asia and make videos complaining about racism. If you're black and going to a tiny town in Japan where they have never seen a black person before in person, you can't get mad at them for staring at you.
Why not just go to the Caribbean? It's one of the reasons why I'm asking this question because I have been hearing a lot of stories of other POCs that left the US because of racism or finding better jobs, like Asians going to Thailand, Singapore, or South Korea for a better life. And you might ask, where do black people have to go? There are LOTS of places where we are welcomed, like Fiji, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Ghana, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Panama, Colombia, Anguilla, La Réunion, Costa Rica, Portugal, Ireland, Turks and Caicos, Greece, Aruba. Some may say that you can experience racism in any place, that racism is worldwide, which is true, but why just sit there and do nothing? Why not try and find a place where you are not looked down on because of your skin color?
I have been to most of these places and never once experienced racism. They were all nice and friendly towards me and my family. Some may say that black people won't move because they don't have money, which isn't true because there are a lot of successful black people in the South that have lots of money. Living in most of these places is actually cheaper than living in the South. I get that most black people don't move because of family and how hard moving to an entirely different country is, but I think that the aftereffect is worth it. I have been living around the Caribbean for two years now, living in the Cayman Islands, and it's the most beautiful place I've ever seen. So much sun, clear blue water, nice people, beautiful houses, and amenities. If you are black and sick and tired of racism and want to move to a place that is cheaper than most states in the US and also has a large black community, you should look into Costa Rica, Portugal, Panama, Barbados, or Colombia. I genuinely feel that this needs to be the standard in our community, to not deal with racism and to take the big step and just move.

I think the OVA occurs after Ep 19, for multiple reasons. 1) In Japan, summer breaks are typically 6 weeks or 40 days. If the summer break started, mid July that would end the summer at end of August, thus invalidates the OVA disc's upper limit. 2) In Episode 23, school is back in session and they aren't absconding to Hawaii while school is in session. 3) After Ep 19, there are no more warm weather watebeach/ocean-based TV series episodes, and the trauma of the events in OVA 2 would probably put an end to any desire to travel to any water-based locations for a while. However, according to the Italian Wikipedia entry of Anohi, only the movie is in a parallel universe in respect to the TV series. The translation of the page includes this about Anohi, saying, "According to what was revealed in the pamphlet given in homage to the screening of the film, it is in all respects a parallel world to the TV series." It must be noted that the claim above is not cited.

OVA 8: “Message in Rouge” – Released on January 18, 1991

• Setting is likely autumn 1988, after episode 48 and Madoka has likely returned from the US with her father. As explained in episode 48, she goes to the US to take care of her ailing father for an undisclosed period of time.

OVA 3: “I Was a Cat, I was a Fish” – Released on December 27, 1989

• Discotek's OVA Disc places this between Episodes 15 & 30 (July 13, 1987 to Oct 26, 1987) but it does not fit given the evidence. OVA 3 is likely set during Tanabata on July 7, 1988 or a summer festival which Madoka and Hikaru are attending. ~@14:07 After Hikaru brings Kyosuke (in goldfish form) to her room on her wall there is a photo of Kyosuke in ski gear. The TV series episodes that include skiing occurred between episodes 34 & 35 (Nov 23-29, 1987) or Episode 46 (Feb 21, 1988), or could be OVA 1 White Lovers, all of which were during the 9th grade year. Thus, the setting is likely in Summer of Kyosuke’s and Madoka’s 10th grade year which began in April 1988.

OVA 5: “Stage of Love = Heart on Fire! (Spring is for Idols)” – Released on May 1, 1990

• Discotek's OVA Disc places this between Episode 23 & 30 (Sept 7, 1987 to Oct 26, 1987), however, I believe this is incorrect. Given the evidence, OVA 5 occurs, at earliest, in Spring of 1989, during Kyosuke & Madoka’s HS 11th grade year. Early in the episode, Kyosuke is riding a scooter and Japanese law states one must be 16 y/o to drive a scooter. Kyosuke turned 16 y/o on 11/15/1988.

OVA 6: “Stage of Love = Heart on Fire! (A Birth of a Star)” – Released on July 1, 1990

• Shortly after OVA 5, in Spring of 1989.

OVA 4: “Hurricane! Akane the Shape-changing Girl” – Released on February 1, 1990

• Discotek's OVA Disc places this OVA between Episodes 20 and 25 (Aug 17, 1987 and Sept 21, 1987). However, based on the dialogue, OVA 4 is set in July 1989, Kyosuke (16), Akane (16), and Madoka (17) are in 11th grade; Hikaru (14) is in 9th grade. ~@2:13, the first line of the episode, Kyosuke says,“高二の夏休みが始まった朝” (Ko ni no natsuyasumi ga hajimatta asa) “It was the morning my 11th-grade summer vacation began.” The "K" in "Ko ni" is almost non-existent and it almost sounds like "Oni" but given the context this would make no sense. Also, ~@3:01, after Kyosuke finds>! Akane (disguised as !<Hikaru) naked in bed with him, he says, "ひかるちゃんまずいよ. 僕たちはまだ高校生” (Hikaru-chan mazui yo. Bokutachi wa mada kōkōsei), “Hikaru-chan, this is bad. We’re still in high school.”

OVA 7: “An Unexpected Situation” – Released on January 1, 1991

• Discotek's OVA Disc places OVA 7 simply after OVA 4. Therefore, this is set in July 1990, prior to movie which also starts in July 1990. The plot indicates Akane already knows who Madoka whom she met in OVA 4, in July 1989. ~@3:44 Akane’s friends confirm Akane is a Sr. in HS. She and Kyosuke are same age (OVA 4, ~@3:33) and therefore, in the same grade. Therefore, OVA 7 is set just prior to events in the first movie. This is significant because Akane (disguised as Kyosuke) tells Hikaru in a rather cruel way that she is annoying and to leave him alone. This must have been resolved favorably because in Movie 1, Hikaru and Kyosuke are on good terms in July 1990.

Kyosuke (17) and Madoka (18) are in 12th grade, Hikaru (15) is in 10th grade.
Movie 1: “Kimagure Orange Road: I Want to Return to That Day” – Released on October 1, 1988

• If you choose to use Manga timeline, as expressed in the dialogue with 1969 as the years of birth for Madoka and Kyosuke, that sets the movie from July 1988 through Feb 1989.
• If you choose to use TV Series timeline with a 1972 birth year for Madoka and Kyosuke, then the movie is set from July 1990 through February 1991. The movie starts when Kyosuke is 17, Madoka is 18, and Hikaru is 15, by end of movie, Kyosuke and Madoka are 18, and Hikaru is 16.

Movie 2: New Kimagure Orange Road: Summer’s Beginning – Released in November 2, 1996
To confuse the timeline issue further, the Shin KOR movie indicates it follows the TV series timeline as its setting is 1991 & 1994, which would line up with the TV Series timeline. But Shin KOR seems to think Kyosuke and Madoka were born in 1971 if logically worked out. The movie setting is split between Summer 1991 (~@7:56), just a few months after Movie 1, when Kyosuke is 18 y/o. and summer 1994 (~@15:44 & ~@17:49) when he is 21 y/o.
But this makes matters even worse because Kyosuke, in a premonition/foreboding dream at ~@4:38 said he is 19 years old, and ~@4:55 he says it is, "The Summer I finally caught you, my angel." (first time to have sex with Madoka) therefore, this dream scene is set in Summer 1992, if true to 1971 timeline, but if summer 1991 then the Movie thinks Kyosuke and Madoka were born in 1971.
Compounding the issue, ~@27:45, in Summer 1994, Komatsu and Hatta were lamenting that Kyosuke was only 22 years old when he died, which would mean if born in 1972, he would have died after 11/15/1994.

I must thank the moderator at Orangeroad.US [LINK] who kindly responded to me via email to my timeline question and reminded me of some key cultural points I failed to consider when creating the watch list above regarding dates of birth and how they can be nebulous, the moderator stated:
"Traditionally (Classically) when Japanese are born, as is common with other Asian cultures, the day you are born you are counted as 1 year old. You turn 2 on the *first* New Years Day. Your birth date stays the same but you are deemed 1 year older every New Years Day after that. New Years is a week long celebration in Japan. That system existed from ancient times and only stopped being used by most of Japan in the 1950's. So depending upon the age of the animators, directors, etc.. we really don't know how "exact" they were. It becomes real easy to state you are 15 or even 16 under that system. Under that system even when talking about the manga, Kasuga and Ayukawa could be different aged. That really, really easily leads to your opening tagline, in which Kasuga would be making the statement he is 15 years old.. because in that system.. he is."
Additionally, the Orangeroad.us moderator provided me with the AnimEigo Liner Notes regarding DOBs which you can find [HERE} which adds some clarity to the issue. And states, "While the KOR universe in its manga version involved the actual years of 1984 to 1988, the time in which Kyosuke spent his 9th through 12th grade [in manga, as well as in the KOR Movie, Kyosuke was supposedly born on November 15, 1969], the TV version treats it slightly differently. It takes place during the years 1987 to 1988, the same years in which the episodes were actually broadcast. So, to confuse things, the TV Kyosuke was most likely born in 1972. To become more confused, see our Episode Airdates section."

From as early as I can remember, I’ve always been fascinated by money. One of my favorite childhood books was about a turtle named Franklin, and my favorite page was the one with pictures of quarters. This early interest in money spurred me to hustle from a young age, trading Pokémon cards and diving into various side ventures. However, the more I made, the more I spent.
In addition to spending big, I often daydreamed of a more luxurious life. Over time, I lost my sense of reality, constantly dreaming big but lacking the work ethic to make those dreams come true in the material world. As an adult, I find myself in a perpetual cycle of daydreaming, missing opportunities, working hard to catch up, and then squandering my achievements.
As a kid, I spent all my resources on video games, Pokémon cards, electronics, and clothing. As an adult, my spending shifted to rent, school, electronics, food, and vapes/cannabis. It feels like I’m always chasing money, reaching a comfortable financial position, and then spending it all away.
I grew up in a hardworking family. My father was an engineer, and on weekdays, I rarely saw him. He left the house as early as 5 AM, sometimes 6 AM, and wouldn’t return until 9 PM. Because of his hard work, my family achieved deca-millionaire status and owned five properties. Despite this wealth, my mother often said, “We aren’t rich because your father was good at making money, but because he was good at saving.” As a kid, I didn’t take this to heart, but in hindsight, I see the wisdom in her words.
Aside from my family, my uncle has always lived with us. He doesn’t spend any money, has a deca-millionaire investment portfolio, but is somewhat lazy and semi-entitled. He hasn’t worked for probably 40 years and enjoys his time on the internet. Because my father wasn’t around much, my uncle became a father figure to me, but I ended up adopting his lifestyle and personality without the critical habit of not spending money.
Growing up, my experiences were far from luxurious. From grade 0 to 10, I wore hand-me-downs with holes, ate off-campus to avoid lunch supervisor fees, and skipped any school event that cost money. Our home was heated to a frugal 16 degrees, and my father stuffed his clothing with plastic bags for insulation. On weekends, I was responsible for all the maintenance of our additional properties, including boarding, roofing, plumbing, and grass cutting, but I was never financially compensated.
Furthermore, I remember my father’s first hospitalization when I was in grade 2, but in grade 8, his health declined drastically, leading to frequent hospital stays. Coming from an Asian culture, my family members, excluding my older brother, took shifts to watch over him 24/7. I feel as though I was cheated out of a childhood, but I don’t hold any resentment towards my family.
During this period, my brother never had to put in any labor for our investment properties, didn’t have to watch over my father, and had his university and living expenses paid for at one of the top three universities in Canada. As for me, now I’m paying my own tuition, rent, living expenses, and luxuries by working full-time and attending classes full-time.
For my education, I go to a local polytechnic school. I remember maintaining straight A’s up to grade 4. In grades 5-6, my teachers disliked me and always pulled me aside for talks. In junior high, I basically gave up on school; a typical day involved wrestling and being glued to my phone. High school rolled around, and from grades 10-11, I clawed my way from second-tier to first-tier classes. When COVID hit in grade 12, I cheated my way to a diploma. In university, I flopped my first semester and now alternate between straight A semesters and straight C semesters, depending on my work schedule. During this period, I still periodically maintain my family’s investment properties and other family work.
These experiences have shaped my complex relationship with money. On one hand, I’m driven by a desire for financial stability and success, inspired by my father’s hard work and my mother’s frugality. On the other hand, I struggle with impulsive spending and an unrealistic sense of what it means to achieve wealth. This ongoing conflict defines my journey, highlighting the need for balance between earning and spending, dreaming and doing.

First of all, not that Im bragging but my way of living is healthy as far as I’m concerned. I workout regularly, I clean my own room, I wash my own clothes, is health conscious, and started meditating recently to practice mindfulness. However, I’m still trying to fix my very bad sleeping habit… this is not the main topic though.
Anyway, I’m around early 20s asian dude and I’ve been a victim of presumptions coming from my friends, cousins, siblings and parents ever since my childhood days. Since last year, I’ve been defending myself from these presumptions that my siblings and parents is making about me. But because of this, I ended up resenting them, have become defensive, and difficult to approach. Not that I’m bragging, but I’m someone who is automatically considered attractive or almost perfect looking in my country. Light skin, deep voice, tall, fit, intimidating, and etc. But because of these attractive features, the pressure of being perfect consistently has taken a toll on me. Not that I’m trying to be perfect but because whenever I made a mistake, even if it’s simple like speaking english in wrong grammar, the people will get so SOOO disappointed. In addition to that, some of them thinks that I have a very high standard when it comes to the type of woman I date. The only reason im single is because I get nervous to women, and im in a situation where im trying to stop trying to be perfect because of these shitty pressure.
My brother told others before that I like e-girls and female streamers because I like playing video games, my sisters thought I’m someone who watches anime all the time because I’m usually inside my room using my computer, my parents thinks im just playing games all the time, my neighbor cousins concluded I never go outside except occasional days, my friends thinks I don’t know how to do house chores because my family is financially stable, and some of them friends thinks Im a weeb because usually Im in my house. (not that im degrading anime & japan culture lovers btw, sorry)
Recently though, my family somehow stopped with their presumptions because I kept reminding them about it and sometimes share status update, but it made me resent them and difficult to approach. They told me to just ignore what others thinks about me, but I don’t think I can just effortlessly do that. Regarding with my cousins and friends, as far as im concerned, I bet their thoughts about me haven’t changed.

• Welcome to San Jose, Smitty! The San Jose Sharks have officially signed forward Will Smith to a three-year entry-level contract. The 19 year-old’s impressive tenure at Boston College ranked him 6th in the country with 25 goals in 41 games. If San Jose can pick up Celebrini next month, we’ll be looking pretty good for next season.
• A new library is in the works for Sunnyvale. City council unanimously voted last week to build a library + learning center next to Lakewood Park. The plans call for 50/50 traditional library and community services, which is sorely needed in Sunnyvale’s north side. San José Spotlight says the $23 million project is expected to begin this summer, and may open as soon as late 2025.
  
• One of the co-founders behind KoJa Kitchen has a new restaurant in Cupertino — Saigon Blvd. While the Vietnamese eatery hasn’t had an official grand opening (co-owners Hiep Lien + Linh Do just welcomed a baby into their lives), the restaurant features Vietnamese classics (pho, rice plates, spring rolls, and soju cocktails).

Ford opposed a house for developmentally disabled youth in his ward, saying the home had "ruined the community".
Comments Ford made during the campaign received criticism for alleged bigotry, such as misogyny and antisemitism, and critics accused him of conflict of interest and of drug dealing in the past.
In December 2016, the City of Toronto's integrity commissioner concluded that Ford broke the city's code of conduct when he was a councillor finding that Ford improperly used his influence in municipal matters pertaining to two companies that were clients of his family's company
that if elected his government would allow Hamilton City Council to reallocate the $1.3 billion allocated for the city's proposed rapid transit system to roads or other infrastructure. Hamilton mayor Fred Eisenberger responded saying that city council had already decided the issue and that cancelling the LRT would mean $100 million would "be thrown away".
Ford's government cancelled the basic income pilot project.
On June 15, 2018, then premier-designate, Ford announced in a statement that one of the first actions of his newly formed cabinet would be to eliminate the province's cap and trade program under the 2016 Climate Change Mitigation and Low-Carbon Economy Act, a polluter pay bill that "generated funds for climate change mitigation and adaptation," put in place by the Liberal government.
As a result, rebates for electric vehicles funded through the program were cancelled, and a program known as the Green Ontario Fund, which was financed by the proceeds of cap-and-trade auctions and aimed to help homeowners reduce their carbon footprint and reduce hydro bills, was eliminated.
Ontario's "fiscal watchdog" and other analysts said that the province will have to refund an estimated $3 billion in carbon credits over four years purchased under the cap and trade program. By mid-November 2018, The Globe and Mail reported that the Ontario government had "lost $2.7-billion in revenue" which included the $1.5-billion loss of revenue from the elimination of the cap-and-trade program.
In 2018, Ford expressed support for publicly funded healthcare and a belief that funding should be increased to create 30,000 additional long-term care beds. In 2020, Ford's government spent $3.5 billion less on health care than budgeted.
Ford has been accused of attempting to privatize healthcare in the province of Ontario. In August 2022, Ford suggested additional private deliveries of healthcare in order to supplement existing public healthcare in response to a hospital staff shortage throughout Ontario.
Immediately after taking office in 2018, Ford proposed to cut 3,475 Ontario teaching jobs over four years to save $292 million a year, Ford also cancelled the Green Ontario Fund residential rebate program which included a $100 million fund for public school repair, free prescriptions to youth 24 and under, and an initiative to add indigenous peoples content to school curriculum, and eliminated free tuition for low-income students (while reducing tuition fees by 10 per cent),
On July 11, 2018, Ford announced that Ontario's health curriculum including sexual education components, updated by the previous government in 2015, would be reverted to the 1998 curriculum before the next school year.
Ford used back-to-work legislation to end the 2018 strike at York University prior to the start of the 2018–2019 school year. The strike had gone on for over four months, making it the longest post-secondary strike in Canadian history. Ford ordered all public universities and colleges in Ontario to develop free-speech policies that meet his government's expectations and stated that universities and colleges that do not comply will face funding reductions.
By June 2019, the Ford government had removed or decreased funding for "school programs like after-school jobs for youth in low-income neighbourhoods", "tutors in classrooms", "daily physical activity for elementary students", "financial assistance for college and university students", "free tuition for low-income students", and "three satellite university campuses". He also "increased class sizes" and "cancelled three summer curriculum-writing sessions—one mandated by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and two others.
Bill 28 imposes a contract on CUPE, and makes it illegal to strike, setting fines of $4000 for workers. The bill invokes the notwithstanding clause, shielding it from being struck down by the courts by allowing the bill to operate despite the right to collective bargaining granted by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The legislation was widely condemned, including by opposition parties, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada David Lametti, the Ontario Bar Association, and other unions including those which had previously endorsed the PC Party.
On December 6, 2018, the Ford government tabled its omnibus bill, Bill 66. The bill allows municipalities to request a provincial government override of any regulations that currently deter businesses from locating in the region. Ford's political opponents and groups that promote environmental protection raised concerns that the "opaque", "vague language" in Bill 66 could mean clean water regulations and other bylaws that protect environmentally sensitive land could be bypassed.
In September 2022, Ford's government passed the Strong Mayors, Building Homes Act that grants extra powers to the mayor of Toronto and the mayor of Ottawa within their mayor–council governments. The Act grants the mayors of Toronto and Ottawa direct control over the drafting of city budgets; the appointments and dismissals of their city managers and department leaders (except police chiefs, fire chiefs, or auditors general); vetoes over laws that may conflict with provincial priorities
Before Ford was first elected in 2018, a video emerged of him informing developers that he would "open up a big chunk of the Greenbelt" if elected. After a public outcry, Ford said he would replace any removed land and that his goal was to increase supply to reduce housing costs. Pre-election, Ford also pledged not to remove Rent Control, stating, "I have listened to the people, and I won't take rent control away from anyone. Period. When it comes to rent control, we're going to maintain the status quo." After taking office, Rent Control for all newly-built or newly-converted rental units was removed as a measure to incentivize developers to build more apartments, to help landlords cover costs and make profit, and to keep condo investors buying. After re-election in 2022, and amidst a worsening housing and affordability crisis, Ford became embroiled in controversy over properties released from Greenbelt protection. One developer had purchased property shortly before the decision was made. A total of 7,400 acres of Greenbelt land was removed, while 9,400 acres of land was added.
Ford has disagreed with criticism regarding his friendships with developers, saying, "no one can influence the Fords". Specifically, he called questions about the optics of developers attending his daughter's pre-wedding party in August 2022, "ridiculous". Ford sought clearance for the event from the Integrity Commissioner in January 2023. In February 2023, the Ontario Provincial Police anti-rackets branch were still looking into complaints about his government's decision to open up a portion of the Greenbelt for development. The OPP asked the RCMP to take over the file in August 2023, in order to avoid any perceived conflict of interest.
On October 10, the RCMP announced it was opening a criminal investigation into the allegations around developer favouritism in the Greenbelt land swap process used by the Province of Ontario.
Ford came under fire in December 2018 by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Deputy Commissioner Brad Blair, who claimed Ford requested the OPP “purchase a large camper-type vehicle ... modified to specifications the premier's office would provide” and keep the costs “off the books.” The vehicle was intended for the premier to use for work, and reportedly was asked to include a swivel chair. The accusation followed on the heels of Ford appointing a longtime family friend to be the next OPP commissioner just days after lowering the requirements for the position.
Amid growing case numbers in mid-2021, the government moved to introduce a third province-wide stay at home order. As part of the response, Ford announced on April 16, 2021, that outdoor amenities including playgrounds would be closed, and that he would be authorizing police to require pedestrians and drivers to explain why they are not at home and provide their home address and other relevant details. The regulations raised concerns about a re-legalization of carding. The government experienced significant backlash with the new enforcement measures, with some commentators – such as the National Post's Randall Denley, a former PC politician – equating the province to a "police state" Members of the Ontario COVID-19 Science Table described the new restrictions as "absolute madness", and not based on science questioning the need to restrict "safe options from people as you do nothing to impact the places where the disease is spreading". After dozens of police services across the province announced that they would refuse to enforce the new measures, Ford promptly rolled back the new enforcement provisions the next day and reopened playgrounds, while keeping other outdoor amenities closed.
Mandate letters requested by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation through a freedom of information request were not released to the public, despite being ordered to by the Ontario information and privacy commissioner in 2019. The final appeal of the decision is now being sent to the Supreme Court of Canada.
In September 2021, an Ontario judge issued an injunction on mining in Wiisinin Zaahgi'igan (an area sacred to the Ginoogaming First Nation peoples). The judge ruled that the Ontario government did not consult with the Ginoogaming as is their constitutional duty.
In 2018, Ford endorsed the economic policies of the Republican Party and the presidency of Donald Trump in the United States, saying his support for Trump is "unwavering". After Trump announced tariffs on Canadian aluminum imports in August 2020, Ford expressed his disapproval, calling Trump's policy "totally unacceptable".
In 2018, Ford's sister in law, through his late brother, Rob, sued Doug and Randy for mismanagement of Rob's estate, saying their actions deprived her and her children of due compensation while overseeing business losses at Deco Labels totalling half of the company's market value. In response, Doug alleged that the claims and the lawsuit's timing in the same week as the 2018 Ontario election amounted to extortion.
Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ford's daughter Krista has controversially engaged in the spread of COVID-19 misinformation and conspiracy theories. In December 2021, Krista and her husband participated in The Christian Fight for Freedom, a panel discussion which included discussions that were anti-vaccine and anti-mask in nature. The event was advertised as having special guests "Dave and Krista Haynes, family of the premier Doug Ford".
Rob Ford (former mayor of Toronto, Doug’s older brother)
During the debates around the 2002 municipal budget, Ford and Councillor Giorgio Mammoliti got in several heated exchanges, where Mammolitti called Ford a "goon" and Ford called Mammolitti a "scammer". The argument got heated to the point where Ford called Mammolitti a "Gino-boy". Mammolitti called the insult a "racist remark" and filed a complaint with the city's human-rights office. Three councillors stated that they heard the insult said by Ford, who denied it. Ford dismissed the councillors stating that they were liars if they thought he had made a racist remark. "I'm a conservative and the majority of people are left-wing and cannot stand my politics." The exchanges led Councillor Pam McConnell to complain about "testosterone poisoning" in the chamber
In June 2006, Ford spoke out against the city donating $1.5 million to help prevent AIDS, arguing that most taxpayers should not be concerned with AIDS.
On March 7, 2007, Ford spoke out against cyclists sharing roads with motorists, which were "built for buses, cars, and trucks, not for people on bikes". As councillor, Ford opposed the installation of bike lanes on University Avenue and Jarvis Street
Bike lanes were installed on Jarvis in 2010 over the objection of traffic advocates, and Ford made it a priority to get them removed during his campaign. As mayor, he was able to get council to reverse the decision in 2011, a move which was criticized by cycling advocates and led to protests. The Jarvis bike lanes, which cost the city $86,000 to install in 2011, were removed in December 2012 at a cost of $200,000–$300,000.
After his driving under the influence (DUI) conviction became public, his share of the vote increased 10%. After it was revealed he was banned from high school coaching, he raised CA$25,000 in campaign contributions overnight.
Near the end of Ford's term, Ford's powers were reduced by Council, spurred by Ford's personal problems, most notably reports of a video showing Ford smoking crack cocaine.
In 2008, after a 9-1-1 call from the Ford home, he was charged with assault and threatening to kill his wife. The Crown attorney said "there was no reasonable prospect of conviction" because there were "credibility issues" with allegations by Ford's wife due to inconsistencies in her statements.
In two separate incidents, on October 25, 2011, and again on December 25, 2011, police were called to Ford's home to investigate domestic disputes. During the Christmas Day incident, his mother-in-law called 9-1-1 between 4:00 – 5:00 a.m. local time as she was concerned that Ford had been drinking and was going to take his children to Florida against his wife's wishes. No charges were filed for either incident. Further domestic incident calls to police occurred in 2012 and on August 27, 2013. Again, no charges were filed.
At Saint Patrick's Day festivities in March 2012, Ford was "very intoxicated" at City Hall and a downtown restaurant. According to those attending, he held a "wild party" in his office. Ford knocked down a staffer, insulted others, then went to a restaurant. According to one server, Ford did cocaine in a private room at the restaurant. After "flailing around" on the restaurant's dance floor, he returned to City Hall by cab, making racial slurs to the driver. Ford then wandered around City Hall after 2:00 a.m. with a bottle of brandy, using profane language at his staffer, Earl Provost,
In March 2013, Ford was accused of groping former mayoral candidate Sarah Thomson at a social event, and Thomson publicly stated that she thought that he was high on cocaine. It was around that time that Ford was recorded on video smoking crack cocaine, a video which the dealers attempted to sell to the Toronto Star and other media outlets.
In November 2013, on live television, Ford denied that he had made lewd remarks to a female aide, wherein he allegedly said he wanted to give her oral sex. In his denial, he said, "I'm a happily married man. I get more than enough to eat at home." He later apologized for his graphic remarks.

I just saw a popular influencer, one who I see consistently for airport skits. I never followed this person but she popped up often enough it was like I did. She made a video where there's a hypothetical situation of a man coming into the airport with 29 children all under the age of 2, which is a red flag in of itself. Then a random child (played by the influencer) walks up to the man and he makes a joke that he "needs an Asian baby". This man is dressed in one of the stereotypical trafficking outfits (SOURCE: I'm a trafficking survivor) and she is all smiles throughout and does not by any means make any attempt to say that the behavior is not okay. This is the kind of shit that makes people miss the most obvious trafficking signs, because it's all a joke to them.

Baby Einstein made a “Baby Hamilton” episode. It was basically Hamilton songs with videos of toys and puppets being put over it in sync with the music. For Alexander Hamilton, in the “IN NEW YORK YOU CAN BE A NEW MAN” the puppets started lip syncing it. then a koala appeared and did the “JUST YOU WAAAAAAAAIT” part. The commercial break (rest of dream as I was waken up during it) was a completely different movie that doesn’t exist. The main guy was Asian with black shaggy hair. He said to his group “Let’s go to the nightclub.” then they all crawled like millipedes across the sand to the nightclub. While they were walking away, the camera panned and zoomed into this sad old man sitting on the beach. He started singing a song that I can’t remember the tune of. The lyrics were something like “I…am a hen. And then I did it again…” (he was human, for your information.)
I consider any dream which suddenly interrupts my main dream as a 'commercial break' as it often goes back to the main dream shortly afterwards. Sometimes they are skippable and have a Skip button.

Diagnosed with ADD at age 11 (grade 6 so whatever age is that) rediscovered its ADHD, my parents are old semi-old school Asians (Filipinos in their 50s-60s), my moms a narcissist cuz she’s an RN in two different jobs and my dad’s just oold, only approved other asians and my guy friends as FRIENDS.
Just to give some info on the relationship:
So my bf and I are in our early to late 20s, start dating in college 2020, we had more time to be on video chat for days on end watching shows and movies and enjoying the (virtual) company, no intense symptoms or emotions, parents find out we have sex, disapproves him till this day. Come 2021 I’m a few months into my first job, he gets laid off his PT job plus no transportation to said job. (We don’t live together, we live 3.5 towns apart). It’s not love bombing if it’s out of the pure kindness of my soul and admiration to the person I’m giving. 2022 I start taking birth control for the first time, to try out and of course prevent birth. I stop after forgetting to take it after the first two months, my PMs would increase and start on time without any bleeding the week it’s suppose to or at all through out 2023. At the end of 2023, he still has no stable job, I’m still at the pharmacy (hate the commute and people, staying for the money cuz I love being an artist). My PMs then makes me want to break up with my bf for no reason. Theres nothing wrong with the relationship, just where we are in life and the no money thing. He’s best friend material, boyfriend material, even husband material it’s only that he’s broke.
Since January, I been on and off birth control and my PMs symptoms worsen on top of my adhd making me hop from hobby to hobby and always going back into making art but feeling useless being an artist, getting discouraged about my progress or lack there of. My self-confidence feels compromised with where I am in life but go back and forth with confidence, on top of that I keep wanting to break up with my boyfriend every month but never following through after meeting up with him once every two weeks. A week before my period (every month that week is unpredictable) I get depressed and numb then the week the bleeding starts I obsess over the thought of leaving my boyfriend for no clear reason other than I think I’m better off alone and independent. I start questioning my mental health, meet up at his place we talk, hug, kiss and make up and I feel better the day or days later. At this point it feels like I’m emotionally abusing him and I don’t know what to do. I can’t follow through with taking a break or taking space for a week (we video chat on discord on the daily basis since we both don’t have cars but have licenses) Is it PMS? PMDD? Maybe I’m borderline with ADHD. I see the good and bad qualities him and I have, on top of my job I’m starting a small art business with my cousins that I’ve been putting to the side. Maybe I need to shift my focus and priorities when I get like this.
