Talk to a kid. Why do I say that? I teach elementary school music in a very Haitian dominated school. And the girls are obsessed with my skin texture and hair texture.
Always hated my hair because Hashimoto’s messed up puberty’s transformation of it leaving it dry, frizzy and uneven curl wise. Now I don’t mind it so much and that’s just because the girls I teach are obsessed with it. My skin too…..they love pointing out how you can see my veins or how red my hands get after playing rhythm sticks with them compared to theirs. Oh and don’t get me started on how obsessed some of them are with my visible, four of them, tattoos.
I started acknowledging my confusion when they change hair styles, especially when they go from braids to natural hair or change up their braid styles. It takes me a minute or two to recognize them but I am getting use to it after 3 years of teaching here. But I never realized how much of a self esteem boost they in return give me. Especially when they throw out how they would love to see me wear braids like them. The boys on the other hand are all about the tattoos or my eye color, blue.
The other day one of the younger siblings I have never met stopped dead in his little tracks, stared at me, tugged his mom’s pant leg for her attention then pointed to me and said very loudly: Mommy that her! That the pretty lady who (enter sister’s name) wants you to do braids on. I think she look good in them! Then proceeded to run my way to hug me while his sister cringed at his over excitement.
Self esteem boost if I ever needed one right now. Now that is not to say all kids will boost you up self esteem wise as they do have a habit of gaslighting us or humbling us but the ones that do actually make my day when I am overwhelmed or not feeling good.

Spoilers and big mad feels ...
Sometimes you finish a book super quickly because you can't put it down and can't stop turning the pages. Sometimes you finish a book super quickly because you just want it to end as fast as possible so that you can forget about it forever and move on to the next one in the series. ACOFAS is... the latter. I devoured the first three books and adored them, but this fourth book makes me want to cry (in a bad way)
Did SJM get amnesia in between books 3 and 4? The inconsistencies and lack of continuity might break my spirit. This book reads like a cheap knockoff compared to the three that preceded it. It's like it was written by somebody who only had cursory knowledge of the preceding books. I have many questions and cranky venting.
Chapter 1 First of all why is Feyre walking around like a basic b in ugg boots in a cheesy Hallmark movie? We've got every cliche about the holidays all wrapped into one confounding muddle. It's reminding me of how every pop star records a Christmas song to make that holiday cash.
(Side note: When the cauldron broke and was reforged, did Elain and Nesta lose their powers? Do they still have their powers? The vagueness around this seems sketch.)
Chapter 2 In ACOMAF, there's two very different houses near the Illyrian steppes fight camp: the rustic war house that a bunch of them shared in Devlon's training area, and a private warded cabin waaaay up the mountain where the boys used to have hunting trips and the epic mating fuckfest went down. It was a helluva climb up a giant hill. So why in the beginning of ACOFAS is Rhys walking from the sparring areas straight into the war camp house with Cassian and imagining Feyre bent over the kitchen table?... That ain't the same place, Rhys! If it was, it would also have those creepy paintings Feyre left all over the place.
Chapter 3 "Flap" is a laughably wimpy word lmao. Couldn't SJM come up with something tougher to describe how the bat boys get around? Idk like "pumped his powerful wings skyward" or "beat a gust of air towards the soil and soared into the sky"? Saying "a mighty flap" to describe anything that hotboi Cassian does just makes me roll my eyes and giggle.
Chapter 4 If they have blacksmiths, cobblers, fabric weavers, and cauldrons, why do they also have stretch leggings and fleece lined robes? Am I to believe that a full on medieval cobbler is also making modern-day Ugg boots for Lady Fey? I'd sooner believe that Bryaxis is MIA because it's away at a beauty pageant.
Chapter 5 So, fae have all kinds of magic but no one has figured out a way to deal with a period aside from bleeding out all over the place? Huh?
And I have questions about this magic. If Rhys can magic his clothes away instantly, why can't he magically fix up those slums without the tenants having to move out? Why can't he vanish the rubble like he vanished his panties? You're magic ain't mathing, Rhys. I still love ya but it's looking like campaign lies and I don't like it.
And when Feyre went to get food, she was wearing a fleece-lined robe but then when she comes back to hug him, she's suddenly in a cobweb lingerie? What gives? Did SJM get amnesia again between pages 46 and 54(?).
And when we're in the F/R POV chapters, they use I/me mornings, but in Cassian's and Mor's chapters, it's all he/him and she/her pronouns. Huh????? Pick a POV rule and stick with it babes.
Also, Feyre sorta promised Nesta in ACOMAF that they'd invent showers, but they're still filling the tub for every bath. Why? Maybe that's why Nesta is always in such a bad mood. Babes desperately needs a real shower.
Chapter 6 Did Azriel name his favorite knife Truth Teller after Morrigan? Her gift and curse are telling the truth. idk how I didn't notice this before. I just thought it was a torture interrogation reference.
Chapter 7 Do Siphons tamp down power or amplify it? The answer seems to change from page to page and it's getting confusing.
Chapter 11 It pisses me off that TamTam blames Feyre for everything that's ever gone wrong in his life. Hello?? It was your own choice to lash your sentry in front of the rest of the team, fully bringing to life the saying that "beatings will continue until morale improves" — and Ianthe was behind that shitshow anyway! Ianthe was the one who stole the guard's keys and gave them to the Naga to break in. Where's the blame on her for that fuckery? Tamlin could have handled it with more restraint and honor but instead he let Ianthe push him into going apeshit That's not on Feyre. Sorry Tampax, you played yourself.
Chapter 12 There's no way that the shadowsinger would turn red and almost spew wine into a fireplace because Rhys made a not very funny joke. This rom-com scene is murdering me.
Also, now that everybody knows that the power of grayskull was unleashed from Amren at the battle with Hybern, does that mean that the threat that her position in the inner circle held before is dissipated now that she's no longer got otherworldly powers anymore? How does she still exist????? I loved her but that Hybern cauldron battle was her time to die. If they were going to bring her back, they could at least make her a creepy zombie or something.
Chapter 13 Why is Nesta's life ambition to just get worse and worse? I mean, she has every right to be mad about the fact that her sister's boo's enemies kidnapped her and Elain then dunktanked them into being magical immortal beautiful beings forever. But she was like this even before Feyre left the mortal lands. I'm really getting tired of her bitchy bullshit. I don't care if her and Cassian have some kind of future love story. She doesn't deserve him. She doesn't deserve any more air time honestly. She's wearing me down.
Chapter 15 Why is she writing about clothes?! Where is the plot???
Chapter 16 Rhys says on page 146 that he'll winnow Cassian up to the House Of Wind, but on page 152 of ACOMAF, it is made very clear that the House Of Wind is protected by wards and you cannot winnow into it. You can only fly to it. Even Rhys cannot winnow into the House Of Wind, which is why he flies Feyre up there every single time. I'm new to books with this kind of world-building and, i gotta say, continuity breaks like this throw me out of the story. What's happening?
Also, why is Cassian so opposed to having his own apartment in Velaris? Am I supposed to believe that for the last 500+ years he has not had any place to get laid? Or he only gets laid in an extra room in Rhys's house? No wonder he has such awful luck with the ladies! Get your own apartment, Cassie!
Chapter 17 Feyre says that she scowled at the eye on her palm on page 156 but when Hybern broke her UTM bargain with Rhys, that eye her palm disappeared as did everything else with the tattoo from UTM. Her new mating bond tattoo on her other arm didn't have that eye on the palm. Did SJM read her own books?
Cauldron help me, I don't know if I can finish this book. I want to but it's breaking my heart. Can i skip the rest and go straight to Book 5? I hate it. Send help. Please tell me it gets better in ACOSF. 😭

So years ago, I remember seeing an advertisement about an app called CONNEXT. It was on YouTube and instead of skipping the ad, I stayed because it had a catchy jingle. A really catchy jingle, that the ad's basically tattooed on my mind.
I remember a guy singing about CONNEXT while holding a phone and there's a plane flying with a banner. It had Thai text I couldn't understand. (Or was it Sanskrit?)
I watched this on my old laptop, which got broken a couple of years ago, so basically I just can't go back and check my history because it's not only in my other account, but also in a broken device. I also remember showing the ad to my sister and we've been trying to do (almost) everything just to find this "lost" media.

This is so overdue as my surgery was 5 weeks ago yesterday but I gotta say the first three were really rough. Then infection & now a virus so it’s been a bit of a slog. However it’s successful and life changing and through it all I have had so much love I couldn’t believe all the post! Thank you ALL so much. Vehicle Voltron I: The Mightiest of Saviors Rise Story Treatment
The Logline
In the Near Universe, an experimental carrier-battleship hybrid starship under the command of fifteen crack space explorers from the Galaxy Alliance of Earth comes under assault by the evil Drule Empire. On a faraway planet, they find fifteen vehicles which combine into the evil-fighting giant humanoid robot - Vehicle Voltron.
Main Characters
1) JEFF ♂ - Pilot of the Command Jet Explorer #1 which forms the head of Vehicle Voltron. His full name is Jeff Aki Manabu. Being the leader of the entire Vehicle Voltron Force and commander of the Air Team, Jeff is head-strong, occasionally quick-tempered, yet still a great fighter and a very capable leader, even if he does not always follow the rules. During his time at Galaxy Alliance Academy, Jeff was one of the first to ever beat the no-win scenario test entitled the G.A.S. Zodiac simulation - by reprogramming the simulation to make it possible to rescue the ship and its people. A major source of contention with his peers in the Sea Team's Krik and Land Team's Cliff is Jeff's continuous scoffs at no-win scenarios trying to one-up his older sister Janet.
2) KRIK ♂ - Pilot of the Communications Module #6 which forms the torso midriff section of Vehicle Voltron. His full name is Krik Miranda Keats. Hailing from the water planet of Dulcinea (Mu Arae c) with a light blue skin tone and pointed ears, Krik is appropriately the leader of the Sea Team. Speaking with an alien dialect (which can be approximated to possibly being played by an Indian), he has clairvoyant powers that tells him when something bad happens or will happen. Of the five members of the Sea Team, it is Krik who keeps a cool head and is quick-thinking when situations call for it – particularly when he is at the receiving end of a gun or when the security of Voltron Force is compromised. He will often share drinks with the others in victory times.
3) CLIFF ♂ - Pilot of the Jet Radar Station #11 which forms the lower torso and hips of Vehicle Voltron. His full name is Walter Clifford Jack. An accomplished sportsman and former racing driver who won many circuits in Australian touring car championships before joining the Galaxy Alliance, he can at times be bad-tempered and reckless. Cliff studied at Sydney University before transferring to Galaxy Alliance Academy, where his own nigh impetuousness led to a clash with authorities over the launching (and subsequent crash) of an unsanctioned rocket he built. Hawkins took charge of the situation, steering the interest toward constructive ends, with Cliff now serving with the Vehicle Voltron Force's Land Team. But sometimes he misses the old days of his racing.
4) ZANDEE ♂ - Pilot of the Multi-Wheeled Explorer #10 forming the left lower leg of Vehicle Voltron. His full name is Zandee Barros Carateja. Born to a Boston astronomer father and Brazilian mother, Zandee is boyishly handsome, still long in the process of maturing. An unusual combination, he has inherited from his father the mathematical ability and navigation sense from his mother. He is a phenomenally brilliant mathematician and space theorist. But he has also inherited his mother's Latin temperament, fighting what is his perpetual and highly personalized battle with his technology, suspecting that space is engaging in a gargantuan conspiracy to make his professional and personal life as difficult and uncomfortable as possible in both life and love.
5) CHIP ♂ - Pilot of the blue Advanced Recon Helicopter #4 forming the left upper arm of the Vehicle Voltron. His full name is Chipley Yasuo Mutsu Stoker, and the twin brother of Darrell Hiroshi Suzuishi "Pidge" Stoker or "Pidge I", the first Paladin of Lion Voltron's Green Lion of Forest. Chip is very much the youngest member at 13 of the Vehicle Voltron Force. He can best be described as the brains of the Vehicle Voltron Force, much like his brother Pidge I is or will be to the Lion Voltron Force in the Denubian Galaxy (Far Universe). When he is not tinkering with inventions or fawning over technology and displays of data, Chip spends most of his time with Rocky in trying to find suitable soul mates for Jeff, Cliff and Krik so that they can keep all their stress down.
6) MARVIN ♂ - Pilot of the yellow All-Terrain Space Vehicle #14 which forms the right foot of Vehicle Voltron. His full name is Marvin Tasuku Izu. A good friend of Hutch's since childhood and both being members of the Land Team, the two can often be seen together, either playing cards or brawling with each other. Marvin is usually comedic, with his sense of humor being on par with that of Shannon and Cliff's in riling up Jeff and Krik. During most of the operations the Vehicle Voltron Force takes part in, Marvin's specialist expertise is in Demolition, Heavy Lifting and Logistics which he sometimes cracks jokes that are sometimes inappropriate only because he is able to do it so well for such a long time. But his jokes have even started to bug Lance.
7) GINGER ♀ - Pilot of the Falcon Jet Fighter #5 which forms the chest plate of Vehicle Voltron. Her full name is Patricia Ginger Ellington. She is a strong and brave pilot, who has always tried to fight the good fight and to this day maintains a distrust of the arrogance of science ever since seeing her family destroyed in an starship crash when she was young. She is smitten towards her Air Team commander Jeff, and the two still maintain a close professional relationship. With that said, she certainly doesn't hide her jealousy when another woman shows any affection towards him, married or otherwise. When not in the heat of battle, Ginger likes to spend her downtime shopping, hanging out with friends, or helping Cinda and Lisa with science and cartography.
8) LISA ♀ - Pilot of the red Space Prober #7 which forms the left thigh of Vehicle Voltron. Her full name is Lisa Haruka Kaga. She is very knowledgeable in ancient cultures, and always seems to know the right thing to say to others. Born on the colony world of New San Diego, Lisa was enamored with the ocean and all its native forms of life at a young age. This led to her entering the 2976 Olympic Games, and at 16 years old, became the youngest human of the Galaxy Alliance era not from Earth to win the Gold medal in the 400 meter backstroke event. Possessing an unyielding affinity for the undersea animals and environment, this makes Lisa a perfect choice for the Vehicle Voltron Force's Sea Team, as she is able to urgently take command if Krik is unable to.
9) CINDA ♀ - Pilot of the Rotating Personnel Carrier #12 which forms the right forearm of Vehicle Voltron. Her full name is Cinda Moya Qiligasz. Like Lisa, she too is kind and emotional, especially when it comes to nature. She is a Dulcinean like Krik, and the two are the main psychics and mystics of the entire Vehicle Voltron Force. It would not show up on Krik's file, but Cinda was often the only friend he had growing up back on Dulcinea, as young Dulcineans have their fears like human children have of monsters under the bed. Krik often had to have his fears reined in by Cinda, who vowed to banish all the monsters from peoples' lives so that they would not have to suffer like both she and Krik had to suffer. Even as an Alliance world, Dulcinea has hard times for Cinda.
10) WOLO ♂ - Pilot of the red Advanced Recon Helicopter #3 forming the right upper arm of Vehicle Voltron. His full name is Shota Wolo Kreutz. He is a blue-skinned Galilean of the Galileo (Kepler-451b) system who is a noted scholar of astronomy and has authored several of the most popular accredited astronomy textbooks in use by the Galaxy Alliance. He is a graduate of the Galileo Polytechnic University with an esteemed Doctorate degree in Advanced Telecommunications. Among his friends, Wolo is known to be exceedingly patient, kindly and gracious and possessive of both great intelligence and poise as the gifts he has inherited from his talented mother through which he is able to take charge at times. The kindness comes from helping raise seven sisters.
11) SHANNON ♂ - Pilot of the Multi-Wheeled Explorer #9 which forms the right lower leg of Vehicle Voltron. His full name is Shannon Tatsuo Izumo Cochrane. During his childhood, he piloted a deep-sea bathyscaphe to investigate marine farming methods in making food production on various worlds possible. Of all the Vehicle Voltron Force, Shannon tries to keep things from getting too serious by becoming the funny one, which gives him a tendency to get into trouble with Jeff and Krik over his flippant sense of humor. Even so, he chooses to fight for nobler causes than himself, as his brother was just taken to be a prisoner of what will be known as the Drule Empire on its tribute vassal world of Galra (Planet Doom) in the Denubian Galaxy (Far Universe).
12) HUTCH ♂ - Pilot of the black All-Terrain Space Vehicle #15 forming the left foot of Vehicle Voltron. His full name is Kazuto Hutch Nagato. A good friend of Marvin's since childhood and both being members of the Land Team, the two can often be seen together, either playing cards or brawling with each other. In contrast to the comedic Marvin, Hutch is a regular tough guy, always looking for a good fight with any Drule that has the guts to challenge him mano e mano. Outside of space missions, Hutch loves to dance, listen to music, and wear the most extravagant clothes around. His strong, muscular build was put to the test during the 2976 Olympic Games, where he won the Gold medal in the weightlifting event to the congratulations of future comrade Lisa.
13) ROCKY ♂ - Pilot of the Strato Weapons Module #2 which forms the upper torso of Vehicle Voltron. His full name is Rockford Kai Shinobu. He is the Brooklyn-accented member of the Air Team, usually described by the Galaxy Alliance and by the Drule Empire as the "Hunk" of the Vehicle Voltron Force, which paints a big target on his back for many of the Drule commanders like the Galvestonian Throk in the Milky Way (Near Universe), the Derinja Bi'Os in the Hyperion Galaxy (Middle Universe) and the Galran Prince Lotor in the Denubian Galaxy (Far Universe). He did not have much family growing up, so the chance to have a spiritual little brother in Chip gives him something missing from his life. He joined the Alliance to be able to make a chart of all the stars.
14) TANGOR ♂ - Pilot of the blue Space Prober #8 which forms the right thigh of Vehicle Voltron. His full name is Saluta Tangor Katz. He is as dedicated to his calling of serving the Galaxy Alliance on Vehicle Voltron Force as any of his shipmates. His off-duty demeanor is at times much less boisterous than most of his male colleagues, indulging in painting and playing the piano. Tangor has, in fact, composed a great deal of lounge tunes on the piano to play so to keep his shipmates relaxed and escape boredom. Some of his tunes he is compiling to be sold as an easy listening album. His and Wolo's species is the blue-skinned Galileans from their planet Galileo (Kepler-451b), who are very noted for their appreciation of the finer arts that speak to the soul about existence.
15) MODOK ♂ - Pilot of the Armored Equipment Carrier #13 which forms the left forearm of Vehicle Voltron. His full given name is Modok MacKenzie "Mack" Chucker. He is one of the few eldest active members of the Vehicle Voltron Force. Stern and serious, Modok focuses on the task at hand above all else. He acknowledges that his gruff approach can lead to conflict with the younger crew, though he always means well, and just is out to ensure their mission is accomplished successfully, safely, and professionally. When not on assignment, Modok is a self-described gentle giant like Rocky from the Air Team who likes to find a secluded spot outside the G.A.S. Explorer/Rugger Guard on planets and spend a day fishing and cooking whatever fish are caught.
16) HAWKINS ♂ - Age: 54. Acting Commander of the Vehicle Voltron Force stationed aboard the new Galaxy Alliance Starship Explorer (the pride of the Galaxy Alliance's project code-named Rugger Guard). His full title is Commander James Shinji Ise Hawkins of the Galaxy Alliance. While it is Commander Hawkins who gives all the orders to the Vehicle Voltron Force, he is Executive Officer who answers to Captain Newley on the mission of the Explorer. When it comes to saving lives, Hawkins is always deadly serious - but subtly cracks a joke every now and then. He's so dedicated to the mission that he constantly remains on assignment, and has very little time for recreation, much to the disappointment of his gentler and relaxed commanding officer Newley.
17) NEWLEY ♂ - Age: 58. Captain of the Galaxy Alliance Starship Explorer who is the Commanding Officer of and a good friend to the Vehicle Voltron Force's Commander Hawkins. His full title is Captain Richard "Dick" Asimov Newley. He regards all the members of the Vehicle Voltron Force as replacements for the son he had lost in battle, and sorely regrets his son's death in battle near planet Likon, along with the apparent death of Jeff's older sister Janet who represented him in court martial over cheating to win the G.A.S. Zodiac scenario, but was lost in a training accident. As a child, he was told of the story of Voltron and became intrigued with the prospect of finding it and bringing it back. Now it seems like that dream shall come true at last down on Likon.
18) PAGE ♂ - Age: 56. Science Officer of the Galaxy Alliance Starship Explorer. Though originally an aerospace engineer (albeit an unsuccessful one), he becomes the ship's primary medical officer. He is good humored and always willing to give advice, but he can become deadly earnest when chiding others' behavior. His full title is Professor Michael Search Page. He frequently sips up coffee whilst moving around speaking at an extremely accelerated rate. Despite his bumbling nature, he is actually very wise and knowledgeable, choosing to learn from mankind's past mistakes so that they won't happen again in the future. Page believes that knowledge is the most powerful weapon from any species' history and seeks the knowledge of the universe for this goal.
The Background
Long in the past of the Milky Way Galaxy, the fifteen-piece fighting humanoid robot known as the Vehicle Voltron was known as Dairugger XV by the peoples of the planets the robot visited. Dairugger XV or Vehicle Voltron was a sentient being, renown across the galaxy for its feats of heroism and bravery. Ultimately, this led to Voltron developing something of an ego, as it challenged both a reincarnated wicked Zaar King Drolmacht Dolmen and the goddess Arcadia to battle it for supremacy. Arcadia, having sensed the egotism brewing in Vehicle Voltron/Dairugger XV out of simple ignorance of its own power and not out of sinister malice, defeated but spared the robot as she pondered what punishment would do it best to teach humility/sportsmanship.
In a rage, the dying King Drolmacht disguised himself as Arcadia and tried to destroy Voltron while succeeding at slaying Arcadia. With her last acts, a mortally injured Arcadia managed to save Vehicle Voltron/Dairugger XV by splitting it back up into its fifteen component space vehicles - five joining into the airborne Strato Fighter the Kurugger, another five forming the submersible Aqua Fighter the Kairugger, and another five forming the ground-hugging Turbo Terrain Fighter or Rikurugger - that when all are combined together form Voltron. They were flung through space until they crash-landed on the uncharted planet known as Likon. It is here that the fifteen vehicles will rest until the arrival of the Zaars' posterity in the form of the Drule Empire of Galveston.
The Premise
Historically, the Vehicle Voltron Force story arc of Voltron: Defender of the Universe was adapted from the 1982 anime series Armored Fleet Dairugger XV - but was adapted to be part of a much bigger storyline. We start the Voltron story as a Asimovian science fiction story that is about how the titular machines came to be, used to solve problems, and how their presence affects people for good or ill. Taking the team of heroes premises of the Japanese Super Sentai/Power Rangers series, the galactic journey of Star Trek, the swashbuckling adventure and journeys of Horatio Hornblower, and the appeal of robots found in both the Gundam and Transformers franchises, Voltron is ready to launch with the debut film of a potential cinematic universe of science fiction.
In this four-quadrant five-act mecha science fiction epic, the Galaxy Alliance Starship Explorer launches from Earth in the year 2981 on its mission to chart the Milky Way Galaxy and to find new planets for the Alliance to colonize or terraform to solve problems of scarce food and water supplies as well as both overpopulation and resource depletion. They are forced to land and make repairs on the planet Likon by the forces of the Drule Empire of Planet Galveston, when fifteen of its primary space explorers find fifteen space-worthy ships able to join together to form the mythical Vehicle Voltron - Defender of the Near Universe. Can they join together to stop a Drule attack that threatens a peaceful planet? It may lead to war, but also a step towards evolution.
The Nemeses (The Galvestonian Drule Empire of Planet Galveston)
Aside from normal human squabbles and quandaries that face teams of people trying to survive in the hostile universe, Vehicle Voltron and its team of pilots have to contend with the new horrible menace threatening the Milky Way Galaxy. Many of the Galvestonian Drules of Planet Galveston (also called the Drule Homeworld) fit the tradition of the classic "empire of evil". Most of the Drules are humanoids with light purple skin and red eyes. With fleets of starfighters and space battleships; as well as armies of tanks, super soldiers and Robeast mecha monsters, Galvestonian Drules are aimed at making the Drule Empire a major if not the superpower in the Milky Way Galaxy controlling hapless innocents, with only the Voltron Forces daring to stand in their way.
1) ZEPPO ♂ - Age: Late 40s/Early 50s. Species: Galvestonian Drule. Homeworld: Galveston (Drule Homeworld). Eye Color: Red. His full title is Emperor Zeppo Corsair of Planet Galveston. Like many a major and admittedly rather incompetent dictator, Zeppo rules the Empire with the fists of iron fury, sending others to do his dirty work and harshly punishing those who fail him. With how abusive and destructive he can be towards his many subordinates on a bad day, it is practically insane that there have not been attempts to overthrow him as of yet. A complete and utter sadist by inclination, Zeppo is willing to send his forces to capture slaves from other worlds and force slaves of his own people to fight to the death. His tyranny is only egged on by his followers.
2) ROBEASTS - Wherever one goes in the Empires of the Drules, there will always be such things as Robeasts to challenge the Voltrons and threaten the peace of the Near, Middle and Far Universes. Robeasts from Galveston (Drule Homeworld) sent to battle the Vehicle Voltron are humanoid monsters created through more advanced science and technology, most often from the prisoners of war that are reared in Zeppo's sadistic gladiatorial combat, though some of them are simply giant robots piloted by Centurion troopers. There is often a platoon of fifteen robeasts ready at a moments notice to travel with fighters, tanks, space battleships and or Centurion armies to lay siege to whatever may get in their Empire's way. The Vehicle Voltron Force must take great care.
3) THROK ♂ - Age: Late 60s. Species: Galvestonian Drule. Homeworld: Galveston (Drule Homeworld). Eye Color: Red. Hair Color: White. His full title is Viceroy Throk Al Caponero. Possibly the worst of the worst, Throk is at bitter ends with Hazar, and the loyalest supporter of Emperor Zeppo. It is often rumored that Throk is the one stroking Zeppo's ego to throw him off the scent of Throk's own attempted bids at becoming Emperor of the Drules. A natural-born kiss-up and backstabber, he lives for nothing more than destroying any "invaders" that could make a pass at the Empire and generally making Hazar and his followers out to look like fools, imbeciles and other pejorative words not to be listed. But it is his lust for power that makes Throk underestimate foes.
4) CENTURIONS - Say hello to the mixed organic and cybernetic shock troopers of the Drule Empire. They all serve as the central backbone of the Drule military forces. Their drones have no built in weapons, instead using the same weapons as their mainly organic counterparts. Drones are capable of squad-level infantry tactics and understanding vocal commands. These androids can somewhat resemble fellow Drules, appearing to wear this green-purple armor. In fact, some of the living soldiers appear identical to their own Drones. In addition, Drule Drones can be used for scouting environments full of every kind of hazards, are more durable, and have no fear of utter destruction to claim victory for Zeppo and the Empire. Some are known to pilot their Robeasts.
5) HAZAR ♂ - Age: 40s. Species: Galvestonian Drule. Homeworld: Galveston (Drule Homeworld). Eye Color: Red. Hair Color: White. His full title is Chief Commander Hazar Dorita Teles of the Galvestonian Drules. Hazar is an athletic fellow, able to dodge and move around quickly to evade attacks. This is despite his large size, topping at about six and a half feet. Unlike most other fleet and army commanders in the Empire of the Drules, Hazar is often a composed and rational figure who never has a bad word to say about any of his underlings. He is his own worst critic, as inside, he frequently doubts himself on whether an action he or the Empire takes is right or at least justifiable. Due to this, Robeasts and Centurions alike find him to be more approachable than Throk.
The Heroes and the Twist
Each member of Vehicle Voltron's three teams (Air, Land and Sea) of a super force of space explorers is meant to be reflective of aspects of ourselves that we all have been at some point in our lives - a class clown, a lone wolf, a young genius, a tough guy who is also a mediator, and that young person destined for life greater than their own backyard. At the beginning of the story, the three team leaders Jeff, Cliff and Krik all function as the Id/McCoy (Cliff), Ego/Kirk (Jeff) and Superego/Spock (Krik) found in the Freudian psyche. It is what they learn from each other that they all have to pass down to the other four members of their respective teams in order to effectively come together and operate Vehicle Voltron to save both the Galaxy Alliance and planet Galateia.

I spent the rest of the nigth in my hotel room, I couldn't see her with someone else. I couldn't blame her though, I never told her I wanted to spent that nigth with her, and other than being flirty, I had never discussed my feelings. The next day at her graduation ceremony her parents (I've known all her family for years, being friends with our family) invited me to go to lunch with them to celebrate Sophia's graduation. I had to politely decline because her boyfriend was there. They didn't know her daughter and I had history.
I ended up spending that visit to my home country with friends and even rekindle an old flame with another girl I've dated previously. Sophia and I talked only once for her to tell me sorry for not telling me she had a boyfriend, that she thought I didn't care anymore. Again we never stopped texting after this.
A year later she and her family visited us in the US. I was just back from an study abroad program in Europe. Sophia and I ended up studying both architecture. I was on my third year and she was just starting back home. Her parents were interested in me taking her to the same study abroad program as it was architecture oriented and outside students could be part of it. I was amazed of how her parents wanted (and offered to pay for part of my expenses) me to basically take a month long vacation with their dauther in Europe.
One day picked her up in her hotel (she lied and told her parents she was spending the morning with another friend). I took her to est some breakfast at IHOP. We talked again about us, she told me that she and that boyfriend had broken up. We basically catched up on each other. When we were at the car, the tension was such that it could be cut with a knives. We kissed again, the flame was still there.
During that trip we went out, went to the beach, to the malls, hanging up, clubs, etc. It was the closest thing to dating we had ever had. One day she asked me to pick her up to her friends place, she was drunk and couldn't get to her parents that way, I took her to McDonald's and bought her chicken nuggets. It was about 2 am. She started crying, she told me she didn't understand why I was so good to her, how I was the only good guy in her life that cared for her really. I stayed with her until she sobered up and left her at her parents, she kissed me goodnight kindly.
On her last 2 days in the states she stayed at our place (it was a normal sleepover since she and my sister have been friends since 6). They had a girls nigth. I just spent some times with them watching a movie. We hold hands under the sheets.
That nigth around 3 am she sneaked into my bedroom and we proceeded to have one of those nights you can only dream about, one of those nights that cements themselves in your brain. I can recall every damn second, her smell, how her skin felt under my fingers. The taste of her lips and the sound of her voice trying not to be too loud.
She and her family left the US after that. We kept texting, this time not only flirty, but actually lovingly. unfortunately little by little she stopped replying, then stopped texting first. A couple of days later she went back to her ex and again broke my heart. I felt betrayed, I felt used. I thought that finally we migth had a chance at something but she decided otherwise.
I was really hurting and out of petty, I overtalcked at a house party my sister had with some friends from our country. Basically a "never have I ever been with my sisters friend". Everyone knew we had history but never confirmed it. One of the girls at the party started the rumor that Sophia and I Have had sex. Weather it was true, or hometown learned of this and it even reached her boyfriend. I only knew of this when she confronted me about it almost a year later. She was furious, I was so angry at myself thinking I had screwed it over for real.
Years passed and I had little by little let go of her. We only talked sporadically, wishing happy birthday and stuff like that.
4 years passed and we finally started talking again. She was living in Spain doing an MBA and she wanted to catch up. We talked for hours like nothing ever happened, she told me how her life had changed, experiences she had. I was amazed how our lives had mirrored, similar life decisions, similar trauma. I honestly think we are soul mates. I confessed that I always wanted to have a relationship with her. She told me that I was the one that got away (or something similar, it doesn't translates to English).
Since I was in a relationship and she was still adamant to having a long distance relationship, we just said godbye for now. To each of us to live our lives happily and if one day our paths crossed, it migth just be destiny.
We didn't talk much until valentines day of this year (2024). She texted me asking if there was a song thst reminded me of her. We exchanged songs and kept talking. Just like always, like we never stopped caring for each other. A couple of weeks later I sent her yellow flowers ( it's a thing back home to send yellow flowers at the end of May to the girl you love). She really like them but I noticed she didn't put it on Instagram or anything, again a secret. She had always kept me a secret from her parents and from her sister. She told me that even though she loved the flowers, she didn't wanted me to be hurt by her not loving me like I loved her.
We kept texting a flirting for weeks and she randomly sent me a message with a ticket to Miami (where I live). If you don't have feeling for me, WHY WOULD YOU SENT ME THAT?. She was coming to visit some friends. We planned a road trip to Orlando and to go to Disney with her friends.
The 2 months we planned stuff, places to go, stuff to do. I made a plan to confess all my bottled feelings for her, wrote her a 4 page love letter that I sealed in an emvelop with my own wax seal (I'm theatrical like that). But in social media I started seeing signs thst she migth be dating someone... Nothing official even now. I had my suspicions but wanted to see where things were going.
I picked her up in the airport, she was as beautiful as ever, we went to a restaurant and ate and talked until 3am. Not a mention of a boyfriend. Back when we arrived at my family's house (I moved back to my parents after covid, I'm moving back out on August) we kept talking in my bedroom for hours, almost until the sun came up. We were al must cheek to cheek, nose touching. I went for the kiss but she stopped me. She told me she couldn't. I told her that I knew she might had someone but I didn't know how serious it was. We ended up cuddling the rest of the nigth.
She left to Orlando on a train and I was supposed to join her in the weekend since I work.
We stayed at a resort with her friend. I stayed at her room in the sofa. No one asked questions. We went to the parks and had a good time. In the middle of disney she got a video call from her parents, she kept me out of their sight and didn't pass me to say hello. Again I was a secret. She told me that she couldn't tell her parents that I was staying with her, that they would thing something else was happening. How could she explain that to her parents?. I was angry. If that was the case how could she explain my presence to her boyfriend back home? Was I a secret for him as well? How can you organize all this and still say you don't have feelings for me? If I'm just a friend and nothing is going on... What's IS going on?
She flew back home a couple of days ago. We haven't talked. I refuse to see her instagram. She published a couple of photos that I FUCKING TOOK of her, for the boyfriend to reply with love and hearts. I'm afraid the boyfriend is also a good guy, with good feelings. It's not his fault what she's doing to me. I'm also afraid that since this actually a good guy, he'll propose and she'll say yes. After all of this I can't imagine her ending up with someone else. I had a panic attack just thinking about that.
I know my mistake this trip was being just a simp for her. I wasn't my self, I let my intrusive thouths to take over me and just be a simp for her. Now I'm tired, heart broken, depressed. Food doesn't taste the same, I don't want to leave my bed. I've had even suicidal thoughts, even though I know deep down I would never actually do it.

hello, um, i am kind of new when it comes to making homebrew i still need little help even though most of my characters are homebrewed but only one is base. but i was wondering if anyone can help me create a human-spider character. i have an image of the character i want for it but spiders can spin weps but i can't tell what spells and other thing i can use to give him spider related spells including wep spinning unless that can just be a personal ability or race proficiency. i know there should already be poison and acid spells but i don't know how to do the wep ones or if there are already some wep related ones. can someone please help me? (edit: his story is that he is a boy, soft, quiet, fair skin, shy, lilac short fluffy hair, crystal blue eyes with white center, thin light white dress made from spider silk, white socks with soft blue slip on shoes, who's name is pidersay [spider in pig Latin] and loves to create cute or help with his web that comes out of his finger tips, he enjoys createing this like stuffed animals and clothing and like blankets and hammocks. he can be deadly and dangerous when needed and due to famliy favoring his twin sister who was born normal, he has a hunger for blood and fighting, loves to read and favores a god that may or may not have been just made up in old folk storys and in a old culture from a history book he read, the culture was based from spiders and also belived in the so called 'spider god' but as he travels he starts to see what others from other villages that have heard of the spider based culture tell him make them think of the description of the spider god's power, but doesn't think he is a god but others think he might but what will he find in his future travels?)

here’s my little story for those who need a break from discourse and debate in this subreddit.
im (f17) at the beach right now with my family for summer break, in the beginning of my spiritual journey. i have a dark past and am finding my faith right now, healing while building a relationship with god.
my sisters (13, 20) got matching henna tattoos with me, ones that have the jesus fish on them (not sure what the proper name for that is yet, here’s an example of the tattoo) and then went to go get shaved ice. henna takes awhile to dry if you didn’t know, so it was still wet when we got to the shaved ice place.
while in line, my youngest sister bumped into an older gentleman and smeared her tattoo. immediately, the elderly man leaves and a woman in his group asks how much the tattoo was while she wiped it off in the bathroom. i told her 15 dollars, and she handed it to me to hand to my sister. upon exiting the bathroom, my sister refused the money but ended up taking it while the group and i discussed jesus and our faith.
when the man came back, he came with the book of john and a “free ticket to heaven”, and told us we’d be going. he also handed my sister a 2 dollar bill.
this encounter was a gentle reminder for me i am on the right path. i have been feeling weak, especially lately with losses and substance abuse, but this was reassurance from god i am loved and on the right path.

Decided to share this here for Biblaridion to see, since someone told me I should speak with him about it first.
There is a fanfic by Alex P. Veres(SilverPaladin1985 on DeviantArt, APV1985 on Fandom, and Alexpv22 on Fanfiction.net) known as Dungeons, Dragons, and Dames. It was originally separate from the Gal Pals continuity he created until my involvement with his life and fanfics somehow led to incorporation into the story. I remember the original dialogue from the first chapter: Lucy pointing out that she doesn't remember Huggins giving Lincoln or any other student(s) assignments to do over the summer. Later versions from the incorporation, thanks to me if I recall correctly, involve LJ being the one to point it out, and Ramirez being the principal. Whatever the case, it's a homage to an episode of The Fairly OddParents with Tom Sawyer in it. And I would rather want nothing to do with that series these days, for several reasons.
Maybe there could be a crossover RP dedicated to and inspired somewhat by DD&D, about a campaign regarding Dungeons & Dragons. I'm thinking like the other RP ideas(LH/CG characters, those four alt sisters from "Future Sisters at the Loud House" by Roy "TheAmazingPeanuts" Roddy on DeviantArt, modern animated Disney characters, (maybe) the Mako trio by Wrecker, (maybe) the Kraekkarians, (maybe) the AoS(Shadows of Love, Blood Brothers, and Power of Water), various OCs, my TTS characters, etc.) (though I'm choosing to keep several animated shows like Seth MacFarlane's shows, those by Butch Hartman, those by Matt Groening, and so forth off the list).
For the RPG game, it could be D&D, or it could be something similar. Biblaridion was working on a world for a tabletop RPG before deciding on a unifying storyline. He distracted himself from that story with the worldbuilding, which he would later distract himself from with the conlanging, creating Thandian. I'll flesh them out some other time for those unfamiliar.
I'm thinking of adding conlangs into whatever conworld those characters' campaign could take place, to add realism, despite the existing fantasy elements. Compared to the usage of Olde English(and/or other ancient dialects of the language), Elvish, Dwarvish, and other fantasy languages from Tolkien's legendarium and other worldbuilding projects that are similar to D&D, (and maybe Latin and/or Celtic languages), even in Alex's fanfic, I'm thinking of creating a few protolangs from scratch, then evolving them into families, and creating scripts the speakers would've devised themselves. I have some ideas.

1. A protolang mixing Proto-Indo-European with Proto-Taqva-miir.
2. An idea that would mix Proto-Thirean with Proto-Sino-Tibetan(whichever reconstruction would most suffice).
3. A mix of Basque with Ilothwii.
4. A protolang that mixes Proto-Oqolaawak with either Proto-Kra-Dai or Proto-Hmong-Mien.
5. A mix of Proto-Japonic with the ancestor of another naturalistic conlang, or a slightly modified version of Proto-Japonic.
6. Something with only three vowels: a, i, u (Perhaps a mix of something(maybe Ts'ap'u-K'ama) with Proto-Semitic or Proto-Afroasiatic.)

I still need to do a lot of planning, like a map, though I could mix a map of what the Europeans thought of the world looking like during the time of Old English with a map of the Refugium, overlap territorial outlines, and then expand from there. It needs to be a typical world map most suitable for tabletop RPGs. Maybe then I could figure out which areas for the speakers of each protolang to inhabit before spreading out. As of now, this idea is still a work in progress.

Before you judge, let me tell you the story. First some context:
I (17F), wanted to break up with my ex around half a year ago. I know that’s a long time but until this day I get comments about the situation between us. My boyfriend at the time of the beginning of our relationship had made it clear that he was interested in smoking, despite me being disgusted with the thought due to teachings at home and learning Biology (just seeing the models made me disgusted enough). Some of the issues that arose in the relationship weren’t just his smoking but also different upbringings and different ideals. Now to the actual story.
My ex and I met through a mutual friend, still remaining one of my best friends until this day. He had randomly asked me to come with him and meet my ex so we can all go watch a movie. We ended up going bowling and I enjoyed my time because I also enjoy bowling so we became friends. Over summer vacation we went out more and I met more of his friends. I got along with most of them, even calling one of them "my brother from another mother", the feeling was mutual (this is legit how said friend introduced me to someone else)
Now for more background. I come from a "comfortable" family. We are comfortable with our financial situation and we can afford to buy certain things. Not every day, but once in every two weeks or even one week. I live in a big house where my siblings and I all have separate rooms (though my sister likes to sleep over at my room a lot), my siblings and I get along super well and I generally have more of a strange parental ish situation where because I’m very responsible (I will add that my mental age is believed to be well beyond my years) I often end up caring for my siblings. This is the opposite of what he did.
To continue on. There were multiple events that made me skeptical, not just the smoking. There were times when if we went out to the mall he would say that I’m a "White privileged person" (Mind you I am Polish/German and Moroccan?) because I wasn’t too worried about spending money, knowing that I got my parent’s permission, trust, and even credit card, and I would never actually buy anything other than food (My parents know that I’m not exactly a "go in person and shop" type person. In addition I prefer to do serious shopping with my mom)
The second thing is that he would make jokes about offing himself or f*ing his best friend, aka the friend who let me meet him. The second one isn’t much of an issue to me because- well- my friend is a very loyal, loving and caring person and I don’t believe he would ever intend to harm me, knowing he was cheated on in a past relationship. The first one was an issue. I knew he was depressed, he even told me so. A part of me was nagging me because "what if he really did jump in front of the train?", was all I could think about whenever we went to any train station. I had expressed my worry, but the jokes continued.
Now the biggest reason and the deal breaker. Since I was a child, my dad’s rule number one was: "I don’t care if you get pregnant at 16, I will still love you, I don’t care if you get tattoos all over your body, I will still love you, I don’t care if you pierce your whole body, I will still love you. If you ever smoke, we will have a problem." Because of this rule I’ve avoided being next to anyone who smokes. I respect and love my parents and family is a very big part of my life as without them I would not be here. I love my parents and I love both of my siblings dearly despite everything. When my ex told me he was going to start smoking, I was hesitant. I knew that no matter what he’d say, people get addicted to smoking very easily, no matter what the substance is. Whether it’s medical or not. I explained to him that I don’t want to be around him while he smokes, I don’t want to be in the vicinity, If he wants to smoke he can do it while I’m not around. My wishes were not respected.
I would often invite my friends for a night out once a week. We didn’t have to buy anything. We could just sit and talk. He would take these opportunities and plan with one of my friends to smoke some w**d. Now, let me be clear, no I didn’t like my other friend smoking as well and I made that very clear with her and with my other friend. It wasn’t that I exclusively disapproved of my ex’s smoking. However, my friends wouldn’t go smoking at all while I was with them and would be with me the entire day unless something came up that was so stressful that they felt like they had to. My ex did not do the same.
I would express to him my worries that I see the signs of addiction appearing and that I’m worried for him. He ignored me, eventually sending me a message that we need to talk and that I need to "stop acting like his mom". I relented. I knew there was nothing I could do and that the relationship was lost. I didn’t want to leave him but my morals conflicted so much with his own and now he wasn’t going to listen to me when I asked him to tone it down next to me. Two weeks later, I made the mistake of sharing with another friend that I wanted to break up with him. Said friend went to spill the beans to my ex who in turn broke up with me first over text, something heavily frowned upon where I’m from (I don’t know if it’s the same in other places. I hear people break up in messages all the time). Of course the friend that snitched got some lectures from EVERYONE I knew, but my ex got the most backlash. I was going to wait until we meet up to communicate with him my decision but he just wasn’t as patient.
A few months later and whenever he comes up in conversation I get told that I might have overreacted and that we could have worked things out between us. I disagree but I need to know. AITA?

My girlfriend of 3 years (40 y.o. and 4 years in USA from Latin America) is scheduled to go on a trip soon for her sister's wedding in South Africa with many family members. Currently, she is employed and works a job that is hopefully just a stepping stone for better employment. She has actively been searching for better employment with very little luck. Her biggest hurdle is learning the English language more fluently—especially within a business setting. She will not devote the appropriate time it takes, in my opinion, to learn enough English to land a job within her degree field. She will spend hours on social media and talking to family and friends but very little time to learn English to get a better job and possibly a career. And, at times, she will cry her eyes out because she does not feel like she fits in the country with the language and cultural barriers being too much. This happens frequently and I try to explain the reasons why but it never changes.
With her being from a Latin background, I know family is a priority and I do not ever interfere or judge whenever I think it is a little overboard. I just go with it, support her, and respect those relationships regardless of the way I feel at times. However, sometimes I have a hard time biting my tongue when things seem completely ignorant and that she is setting her own self up for failure. The way I see it at times, they will guilt trip her constantly and use her to make themselves feel better—leaving her in a pile of ruins that I have to clean up. A majority of the time she gets distant and it feels that she does not want to be with me or even in this country. I constantly walk on eggshells because I have such a hard time getting her to talk to me.
She is scheduled to be in South Africa for almost 3 weeks for her sister’s wedding. When this was brought to my attention I told her that there is no way in hell that an employer would let someone off of work for that long unless they have been at that job for a long time and have many days of vacation stored up or other extenuating circumstances are involved. Her rebuttal was that she would quit her current job and “hopefully” be able to land another job before she leaves (in less than 2 weeks). From there she would explain to them that she has prior obligations and that she would not be able to start until mid-July. As of this moment, she has no interviews or anything lined up for future employment and I highly doubt she will get an interview before her departure.
I am not complaining about her travel. I am glad she will get to go to a part of the world she has never been to and take in the sights as well as be with her family. I am concerned about the length of time that she will be gone and jeopardizing the possibility of future employment. If she quits her current job, I highly doubt she could use them as a reference—as well as 2 previous USA employers. Besides the language barrier, her tardiness record at all 3 jobs within the USA is pretty awful. She is a dedicated employee, but I feel that constantly being late for work will bite her in the ass in the future. I have tried so many times to help but I feel that she is not taking any of it seriously. It almost seems like she wants to fail at times. Maybe she wants to go back to her home country and is looking for an excuse?? I am not sure. I cannot pinpoint it and I am having a hard time dealing with the irresponsibility.
I honestly try and be supportive but it gets harder every day. I work very hard at my job and I struggle so much just to pay our bills. Occasionally she will pay an internet bill or part of the rent, but in our original agreement, I would take care of all the bills if she would learn the language and try to get established in a career in the USA—which is one of her goals. Life came at us fast from injuries I sustained as well as surgery and I struggled with making all the ends meet so she helped with some of the expenses—which I greatly appreciate so much. Right now, we are at a very big crossroads. I have changed jobs for the better but it is so difficult trying to catch up and make our lives better. It is getting there but it is taking a little longer than expected. Her taking almost a month-long vacation to me seems irresponsible in terms of us progressing. With my job now, we are able to move to make her life more comfortable and for her to find a job that she will like. I travel for work all year long so location is not a problem.
My questions are—
—Am I being irrational about the length of vacation with nothing to come back to for employment?
—What should I do? I have tried talking to her but I am exhausted because I do not feel like I am making any progress.
—Do you really think she has me in her future plans? I am at the bottom of the totem pole and I feel most of the time that she does not look at me as a priority in her life. It hurts me so much to even think about that--and i think about it all the time.
I appreciate any answers. Also, please ask me questions if you need clarification on anything. I am feeling totally in limbo and really do not know what to do. How do I progress from here? What are your opinions of what I should do?

I just woke up from a very empowering dream. I dreamt that my parents and I went to a current meeting to see what things were like nowadays. In real life I have very mixed feelings about my father because he has turned into a prick. Anyway, we went to one, and I was wearing a teal suit with a white minor turtleneck top, and off white coloured Palladium boots. I had short sides and back haircut and my long hair on top was slicked back. I was looking way sharper than any of the JW’s, and it felt empowering too. Anyway, all the JW’s were standing around and chatting when we got there. I also had ‘atheist’ prominently tattooed on my right hand and that felt great. I definitely didn’t look like a JW anymore. It felt great to be an atheist apostate in their delusional midst. I felt like a giant in the room, both physically and mentally. All the seats were set up in a square around the edge of the room. The program started as an older sister put in a video in a video player, and everyone sat down and started listening. Then corny pop religious music started and they all sang along in kumbaya fashion. Next the speaker on the screen started talking about everyday stuff and how the Witnesses should behave in those situations. He also made mocking jokes about us ‘worldly’ people and the JW’s all laughed along. Then I felt something in my hair and turned to see a young toddler combing my hair. I looked at the mother and said “Can you control your child please??” She replied “Oh it’s not an issue. He’s only playing.” All these things triggered me and I jumped up and said to everyone in the room “I can’t do this sht anymore. This really is as bad as I thought it was going to be and as everyone has been saying. You people are all completely brainwashed and aren’t even smart enough to realise it. This is all crap. There’s no god. Wake up and live in reality. And stop listening to your conmen leaders.” They all looked at me shocked, and my parents were still sitting down. They obviously had more patience for bullsht than I did. And then I stormed out. It felt absolutely great. I was finally completely done with the Jehovah’s Witnesses, and I was the one calling the shots, not them. And then I woke up from the dream, and I’m now feeling really good and empowered.

Sid is at home outside. A device falls from the sky. Sid" What's this?" He touches it and it starts glowing. Spyro appears. Spyro" I think you know what this." Sid" I have another Spirit Guide? Spyro" I see great potential in you and with me as your Spirit Guide, there's no one who can stop you from achieving your goals." Spyro came from a remote shaped device. It allows Sid to keep in touch with Spyro. One press will summon Spyro. One button. When it flashes red, Sid is in trouble. Can shrink in size. Item differs for other people. Maniya's was different. Don't have to carry it with him/becomes apart of his neck charm. The Spirit Guide concept is kinda like having Fairly Odd Parents or it's like Spyro came from a Pokéball. Spyro I choose you. Sid is called a Spirit Kid. Spyro is a Spirit Guide. He trains Sid for the rest of the day. Sid tells the others about having a 2nd Spirit Guide.
A scene shows a transition from the Earth Realm to the Spirit World. Introduction. Welcome to the Spirit World. A place filled with vast amounts of spirit energy. Spirit energy is in all living individuals. People are able to shape their spirit energy into high power attacks. Depending on the attack, certain amount are depleted from your body. All living beings require spirit energy to live even demons. Humans have a balanced spirit energy and soul energy. 50 percent each. Demons have lesser spirit energy. 120 soul energy and 80 spirit energy. They have 200 percent of spirit energy and soul energy combined. Spirit beings have 125 spirit energy and 75 soul energy. 200 spirit soul energy combined. Limbo 75 spirit and 50 soul energy. 125 combined. When you die and go to Heaven or Hell, you lose either your spirit or soul energy. Heaven has no soul energy. Hell has no spirit energy. There are no demons in the Spirit World as enemies.
The spirit being civilians(regular people)are 10 times stronger than regular humans. The Spirit Guardians are 30 times stronger than humans with power. Royal Family are 50 percent stronger. God's are 100. Earth is the weakest world. All of the other worlds live longer. My gods and kings don't have thousand year reigns. I guess wasn't thinking about it. They have hundred years. God Spyro is 131. Hinge blades are registered weapons that belong to ranked officers. Regular citizens used to have Hinge blade. There are 100 Hinge blades. 1-50 are considered stabled however 51-100 are the more unstabled blades. Hinge #100: Bloody Mary the most unstabled blade. It was so deadly; it left the Spirit World in utter chaos. It is not in the Hinge room with the other Hinge blades. It is in a safe place. Spirit Cannons come from the Spirit World. There's a reason why MaXx has one.
Each person has a different type of Spirit Cannon. Spirit Cannon require 1000 spirits in order to complete. MaXx and Sid's are incomplete. It doesn't have the problem power behind it. This is why Spyro and the others were stronger. They are able to absorb faster than MaXx and Sid's but still slower in the Spirit World's stands. Spirit beings can do more than humans. Spyro used to wield a Hinge but now he uses gifted combat and is the only Spirit Guardian to not use a blade. Authorization is when the higher ups or the Royal Family must check off what you're doing. Spirit Guardians can't just go to Earth as they please. Well except during Spirit Guide. They may visit their Spirit Kid as much as they want. They must have a portal in order to travel. There can only be 6 heirs. God, goddess, King, queen, prince and princess. If Spyro or Maniya have families, that doesn't make them apart of the Royal Family. The Royal Family are the heirs.
Gods and goddesses may pass their thrones to the next heirs. The king of and queen will become new god and goddess. There is also a special ceremony for it. The Royal Family lives at a Royal Palice/ Godowa. Godowa is the center of the Spirit World. The Spirit Guardians live and are stationed in different locations based on their teams. There are currently 3 teams in the Spirit World. There used to be a 4th team but rebelled against the Spirit Guardians. The Spirit World has lots of different departments and colleges within Godowa. Some Spirit Guardians have 2 or more departments /jobs. There are these tests where if you apply you could become a Spirit Guardian or other job titles. You can enroll as a Private by taking the 1st Clas Test. You must be 20(Spirit Guardian)but there was this one acceptance. Diffferent departments/ jobs, different ages. It is very unlikely for the Spirit Guardians to lose their ranking position. If a person passes Guardians Test, they will be apart of a Jr Team and will have the same ranking as the Spirit Guardians/even up to general. The sun is bigger than Earth's and is different colors. At night it's dark green. It looks like a tornado is coming. The moon changes during the times of days and nights. There are planets as well. The Spirit World has more advanced techniques than Earth. They can also get to other planets by teleportation.
The Guardian's Test is broken down into sections. IQ Test has 100 questions/written part. Quainga Stogona is the only person that answered 99 questions correctly. Never been done. He is the head of the Research and Development Center and the Tech Squad. Research and Development is a place that has info on just about anything or anybody. Tech Squad makes lots of different gadgets and other cool advanced items. Power Test is about using Spirit energy. You must display whatever the instructor calls out. Stealth Test. Offense/Attack Test. Defense/Guard Test. Weaponary Test is when you use the test blade that the instructor gave you during the practice exams. You must summon your blade to start test. For each of the tests(except IQ), you are required to go through 5 levels in order to complete. Spirit Guardians aren't the only people in the areas. Every team has their own subordinates and each member can command them or give them special missions to complete. The Spirit World has it made. The Spirit World and Underworld have had a long history. The Spirit World has only lost one war against the Underworld. Spyro doesn't like being called prince. He prefers captain or his formal name
Blaze 3: Demonic Arc 4: Spirit World¹ continues
A scene shows Spyro finished training Sid. He returns and is with his team. Spyro is the main character now. Team: Kitoro Kuujo(1st Lt), Maniya Huningnu Atahata(2nd Lt), Garner Shinkranani(OC/Officer Cadet), Doega Uninge(oo-nin-geh)/(Maniya's twin brother)/(WO/Warrant Officer), Etatsu Nanoa(nah-no-ah)(female)(Sgt/Sargent) and Aereasa Manara(female)(Corporal). The Spirit Guardian's ranks come from the Japanese military. During meetings, they sit at round tables. Spirit beings have paler skins compared to humans. Spirit Guardians have their own badges, name tags and insignias. Captains have X's the upper left side of the jacket. Spyro's team wears red symbols. 1st Lt is a square with an X in it. The bottom X is slightly sticking out. The right side of the square has a 1 outside of it. The 1 is slightly risen above the square. 2nd Lt is the same but has a 2. OC circle with an X in it. The bottom half X sticks out. The Xs all look like 2 checkmarks ✅ ☒ together(one is upside down). WO is the same but flipped upside down. Sgt circle with a checkmark in it. The top of the checkmark is sticking out(right side of checkmark only). Cpl is the same but the checkmark is a square ⬜.
Gen- black checkmark ✅. Lt Gen- triangle 🔽 with a smaller checkmark in it. Checkmark is slightly at the bottom right side. Only one side is sticking out of right side. Maj Gen- circle ⭕ with a rectangle in it and a checkmark in the rectangle. The top is slightly sticking out. Bgd Gen- triangle 🔽 with a smaller X ☓ slightly at the bottom right corner. X is slightly sticking out. Col- rectangle with a circle. Checkmark is in the circle ⭕. Top of checkmark is sticking out on right side. Maj Gen- triangle 🔽 with a circle ⭕ in it. There are Inspections. God Spyro inspects his team. Other people from his team inspects the other 2 teams. Won't be the same person. Tadashi is the nicest at inspecting. Akahiro is the strictest and Yukio is 2nd. Akahiro is the Head Official of Archer Unit. The Spirit Guardians are like a real military.
The Guardians also practice formation. Spyro is the most busiest man in the Spirit World. He does the most work and is in charge of both teams. He probably won't have that much time for Sid but will make it. Spyro uses wind style and his fighting style is Spiritual Elite Arts. Great leader. Kitoro has great stealth and is also fast. Fast and quiet at the same time. Went to the Assassins Force. Stealth⁴. Friends with Spyro. Hinge #19: Daul Kitana (Twin Assassins). Twin/double blades count as one Hinge. He's like a ninja. Maniya scored a 5 out of 5 in the Power Test. Power⁵(level 5) her highest score. Hinge #8: Pandora. Can make copies of itself and the user. Can heal the person's wounds by stabbing yourself in the injured spot then say Pandora Unlock. Can also lock and unlock items. Doesn't like being called princess 👸. Apart of and the Head of the Central Crime Department/CCD with Doega. The word Head means that it's your department and you are the highest rank in the department. She is the Commissioner General. Japanese police rank.
Garner has red skin. Big and tall (Spyro's height) and is unable to wear standard uniform(top). He wears a special shirt top. Whenever he wears any top, his shirts all rip. He's so swole that his shirts ripped. Hinge #39: Hercules' Might or Demarusa. An arm blade(not regular blade look) weapon that is spawned from his right hand. Nickname- Red(by Doega). The top of his hand has a mark on it/spawn from. Is very friendly and likes playing with kid. Loves reading and has his own library. Green eyes and and black hair. Monocle on left eye. Mustache and beard combo. Friends with Spyro. Power⁴. Doega is the meaner half of his sister. Can be rude sometimes and is mean. Hair color is white(a darker white/grayish). Defense³. Sword Keeper. Keys to the swords and Hinge Room. Spyro's friend and brother in law. Hinge #58: Rain. Lightning style. Twin blades with lightning carved on it. Twin blade summoning differs. 1.) Both blades come from your palms. 2.) Weapons come from a palm(left and right hand/not together).
When it rains, he gets a little crazy and reckless. Last names are different. He was taken away from his family and the guy took him then changed his name to his. Grew up differently from Maniya. Rank- Crime Inspector. CCD. Was once called the White Demon/White Lightning Demon. Didn't like Spyro at first because he thought he was up to no good with Maniya. Dual tonfas. Nicknames- Red Velvet. Red. Lil Red. Apart of the Master Chef Unit and helps with the Suply Forc. They make sure the supplies and materials are safe. Used to be in the Messenger Crew and the Assassins Force. Graduated from the Assassins Force with the highest scores. Very fast. Trained by Kaori Yoshida when she was 15. Kaori was trained by her mother in law, Goddess Saida Atahata.(sie-dah).
Aereasa has long red hair and red eyes. Close friends with Spyro/ his first friend.Tall. Hinge #11: Ares. Staff weapon. Fire style. Sexy and beautiful. She's always making herself look good. Apart of the Scout Team and the Messenger Crew. The Scout Team do missions outside the gates of Godowa. Her father Aereasē, passed Ares to her. The Manara's also passed the Hell's Guardian position. They watch/monitors the Underworld and Hell. Have portals/ Keys to the Underworld and Hell. Quainga is a Subordinate not a Spirit Guardian. Has been a Subordinate for years. Subordinates have diffent attires. They don't own Hinge blades. If a person loses their position, they usually keep their Hinge blade. Unless you want to. If you die, your Hinge blade will magically be sent to the Hinge Room. Quainga is very tall. Brown hair and eyes. Technical Degree. Great inventor like Eyashi. Goatee..
There aren't any souls in the Spirit World. It won't make sense for these tainted souls to go to this pure place filled with large spiritual energy. There are 36 hours, just like military time. The Defense/ Guard Team are stationed closer to the gates of Godowa. The old team was the Mercenary/Weaponist Team. Cap Majamora Kajkann(male/kawj-can). They wore green in in their uniforms. Great swordsmen. Power lines have spirit energy/spirit lines. Spirit beings have to pay their spirit bills. Hybrid animals.
Doega” I see you got my sister's old Spirit Kid. Interesting choice." Spyro” Ever since that day, I know he has something special in him and I'm going to bring it out of him. Just you wait.” Doega” We'll see.” Spyro” As you know we have ourselves a new Subordinate. One of you will have the honor of showing him we're the best team in Godowa. Doega take him.” Doega” I'll show him everything I know. What is your name kiddo?” Subordinate” Hisoku Esi and you are?” Doega” I'm Doega Uninge and I'm the Warrant Officer of the team.” Both begin to know each other a little bit better. Spyro is only with Doega and Hisoku at the time. Hisoku is black with glasses. Spyro was called a prince by Doega and Hisoku got a little excited. He was freaking out about the prince thing. You're a prince. A help is heard. Spyro” Lets head out.” Doega” After you my prince.” Spyro” Yeah yeah.”
A spirit being summons a weapon then tries to cut a civilian but Spyro puts his arm(left) in the way and it doesn't even graze him/not even flinching. Spirit being” How could this be? He's not even trying.” Spyro” Of course I'm not. You're not worth my time.” Spirit being” Why you!” He takes him out with a Super Kick like maneuver. He Is now under arrest. Spirit World's prison/jail has lots of room. It's pretty much it's own world. There's a slim chance of escaping. Spyro threw a special item that looked his body up. Esi” That was amazing. You took the guy down without using brute force or killing him.” Spyro” You have a lot to learn my friend.” A scene shows a group called the Moon Guardians. They are not apart of the Spirit Guardians or the other departments.
The Moon Guardians are the protectors of the sun and moon. They make sure Daylight and night are balanced. A group appears but aren't the Moon Guardians. Man1" With these disguises, no one will recognize who we are. Let's get a bite.” Aereasa” Lets eat at the Spirit Apataste(apatite and taste combined).” Etatsu” Their lines are always too long. What about the Spirit Dine?” Aereasa” Lil Red that place has to much crime rate and is a disgusting environment to be around. But we can make do.” They go to the restaurant. The person who took their orders is smiling as they leave. He has a red glow in eyes. The impersonators are waiting and watching. About 25 minutes later, Theodore uses a Manipulation maneuver and the people at the restaurant are under his control now. The others are at the Everyday Agora. The customers begin to rally up. They attack each other.
Doega yells at Esi. Spyro” Calm down. No need to yell." Doega” Sorry but his progress has regress.” Spyro” I thought he was improving. That doesn't matter. There's been an urgent matter. The Spirit Dine had a rally.” Etatsu” We were just there.” Spyro” Time for us to make our move. Wait. Where's Garner.” Aereasa “ Haven't seen him since this morning.” Everybody agrees. Spyro” Great. Two problems. Garner is by himself and locked up. He wakes up. Where am I?” He tries to muscle out. Ophelia” I wouldn't try that. Even someone as muscular as you can't break free.” Garner” Who are you?” The rest of the members show up. Next scene. The Defense/Guard Team is shown. What will happen with the Impersonators. Hearing Micas sister confirm his story of seeing Mica in the mall thinking he raised her from the dead but it was actually her sister...
Explaining that she had her child in her arms and her other child with her, JP yells out MICA and her young son basically begged her for them to leave. The kids were so close to their aunt Mica. He does not care that he is causing traumatic memories in the wake of this family losing their loved one in a horrific way and very public.
He was giddy being on that tiktok live! He was tickled that people asked him about his shitty tattoos. No sign of grief whatsoever. Disgusting .

My itinerary may seem relatively empty because i dislike having a packed itinerary, before the trip i only planned about the prefectures i will be visiting and nothing much ahead of it, the free time i just spend either resting or exploring some street or neighborhood, finding some random izakaya/restaurant, and i enjoyed the hella out of it, so anyone insecure about their itinerary being empty, I say don't worry about it and just wing it.
Some other things about me: this is my first solo trip and first trip to japan, and i tend to avoid places with overcrowding with tourists(as much as possible, but kinda unavoidable, but honestly as someone that REALLY hates crowd, was not as bad as i think.) I am also a weeb so this trip consist of a few anime pilgrimages, and a lot of anime shopping so yea, and i am not much of a drinker, especially alone, so I didnt visit any bars(kinda regretting this a little not gonna lie). I canspeak simple conversational Japanese so language barrier was not that big of an issue for me, and this REALLY came in handy outside of tokyo. the further away i went from central japan, the lesser english i saw(mostly in train stations), so best to prepare your google translate and learn some basic japanese phrases if you plan to travel out of cities. This is my 19 days Japan trip with some tips
9/5 - Osaka D1

• Landed in KIX airport, was supposed to reach in the afternoon, but flight got delayed a couple of hours, and i ended up only reaching my hotel at 7pm, so nothing much i could've done except going to get dinner and walk around. i stayed near Shinsaibashi and was a really convenient area as it was near a shopping street, Amerika mura and dotonbori, and a metro station. I also got the ICOCA card at KIX airport station, which basically had no issues in other prefectures as well, so highly recommend you all get that if you land in KIX airport.

10/5 - Osaka D2

• Kuramon Market > den den town > amerika mura > dotonbori shopped around a little for clothes and anime goods, and basically walked most of it, since the places felt too close to take the metro, but was still far so get your legs ready for it. Overall Osaka people were VERY friendly, customer service everywhere felt very energetic compared to tokyo(IMO, not saying tokyo was not energetic, but osaka is on the next level for me) really regretted not having more days for osaka as i wanted to visit more places like abeno haruka and explore more of the city. I originally wanted to spend 3 days here, but i wouldve finished my shimanami kaido trip on a monday, where giant bicycle would be closed, so i did 2 days instead. Oh but i didnt managed to book a bicycle from giant because the bicycle my size was out of stock, and i was camping booking site the day booking was available.... so it did not matter. more on this later
• I ended the day walking over to dotonbouri, saw the huge crowd at the donki area and did an instant 180 nope out of there. One thing i did notice, there are A LOT more to dotonbouri than the crowded areas, so if you are in the area, look beyond the crowd, and venture deeper into the street. I spotted a lot of bars outside of the crowded areas, so if you are into those go check those out, rather than crowding at the same areas and waiting for hours to get into the same place.

11/5 - Osaka to Himeji to Onomichi

• Checked out of Osaka and booked an airbnb in Onomichi to stay the night so as to start the cycling the very next day. I Got the JR Setouchi area pass here which will help cover my next 7 days(shinkansen in the area, ferry trip etc) note that this pass do not work for local trains that is not under JR, eg being Hiroshima local tram(Hiroden). but this pass still saved me some money, since i took a stop at himeji, onomichi, later on ferry from matsuyama to hiroshima, and then hiroshima back to osaka area.
• Himeji Castle, kokoen garden(early morning)
• i visited/walked past a few castles in Japan, and my favourite was this and Matsuyama castle, highly recommend a visit. Kokoen garden was amazing as well with a couple of different sections with different themes.
• Onomchi (late afternoon) -walked around the area, cat alley, went up the Mt Senkoji railway. Overall beautiful place, but not going to lie tiktok overhyped the place a little for me, the building/residences felt old and antique, i can see why a lot of people are into it, but not my thing. Mt senkoji was still amazing though, and definitely worth investing a day to explore. Also, black onomichi ramen was great.

12/5 Shimanami kaido D1

• as mentioned earlier, i was not able to book a bike from giant bicycle, so i booked one from the shimanami kaido website, was a simple process to do at home with translation tools. got my bicycle and went on the ferry 2 mins away. i had already forwarded my luggage from Osaka, from a convenience store (my hotel did not provide shipping services) using kuroneko, and had a bag with me. D1 i cycled from Mukaishima to the start of Omishima, and stayed a night there. I will say this, prior to this i had not touched a bicycle for maybe years, and didnt do much training aside from weight living, and that was a mistake :D while i did finish the whole trip without much issue, i certainly did struggle in sections like uphills, so definitely recommend doing some trainings before you go on it. But if someone like me can do it without training, you all can too so dont worry too much about it.
• Another unfortunate thing that happened is that it was raining on this day, i cycled from 9am to 1pm to reach my lodging, and had to call it a day as i was drenched. Originally wanted to cycle around Omoshima(there are shrines and stuff) and go back to sunset beach on the previous island for sunset, both ruined due to the rain. the clouds were so bad i couldnt even see the sun, but well things happened, just move on, at least i got a break for my legs

13/5 Shimanami kaido D2, Matsuyama, Dogo onsen

• thankfully D2 was a clear day, and i finished my trip at Imabari safely, although my legs were dying at this point. For those physically fit, 1 day definitely possible, but for someone like me nope out of question, so was thankful i planned 2 days for it. Had a lot of scenic places to stop by as well, definitely some of the best coastal/moutain sightseeing ive ever done in my life. I would still have preferred a road bike from giant though as it would've made the climbs a little easier, and worth the extra bucks. Overall if you are into cycling, DO THIS IT WAS GREAT.
• Again, worth it to take two days for it as it is sooo worth it get off the trail to visit some parts of the islands. I did not do much of it on D1 due to the rain, but D2 i went off the trail to visit some other parts of the island, such as a rose garden on one of the islands. It was really easy to get back on track as well using the pamphlet map, as all you need to do is find the blue line again. there are a few blue line routes though, but there are english indicating that they are (either shimanami kaido or sightseeing route, there is one more route which i did not come across), so dont worry about getting lost and get out of the cycling route to explore more of the islands
• After returning the bike at imabari, took the train to Matsuyama to check in, and my luggage was already delivered. If you use the kuroneko service, be sure to check the delivery time on the official website. Afterwards, went to eat some seabream dishes(local specialty), and it was one of the best meals of my life, so highly recommend it if you visit Matsuyama. Afterwards, i went to dogo onsen to take bath. while i do not have tattoo, i am honestly not comfortable with getting naked with others, so i booked a private room at Asuka no Yu, came with a private room and onsen for 1.5 hour(if i recall), came with services like free milk and a free snack as well. The person guiding me around was very nice as well, made me feel like i travelled back in time to old Japan days, 10/10 services and shoutout to the staff there. There is only 2 rooms per time slot though so be sure to book it early, and dont book it at the latest time slot as you may miss the last train.

14/5 Matsuyama D2

• I was originally going to go to the cat island aoshima, but decided against it as i was tired from the cycling trip, and did not want to disturb the locals living on the island, so ended up taking a rest day. Went around the city shopping for clothes and anime goods, hunting for more seabream dishes, and called it a day
• Also for anyone looking to go to Donki, go to those OUT of tokyo/osaka. the only downside is that there aint a section dedicated for tourist souvenirs, but otherwise had a lot of the same items, and WAYYYY lesser people. Just dont be a nuisance to the locals as it felt more like an upsized supermarket for the locals, rather than the popular spots in Tokyo/Osaka where it might as well be a tourist attraction

15/5 Hiroshima D1

• took the ishizaki jet from Matsuyama port to hiroshima, cpvered under the setouchi area pass. i reached my hotel before check in time, but thankfully the hotel staff was nice enough to hold onto my luggage and i could begin my day. Went to the peace memorial park and museum, not going to elaborate much about it, but everyone should at least visit it once in their life. Only thing i will say is the when i visited the museum, the time slot clashed with multiple schools' trip, so I did not get to see each exhibition in detail, as again i hate crowds, but dont really know any way around this as i assume schools take their kids here all year round. maybe go in the early morning or something? not so sure, maybe someone else will have a better tip about this.
• Anyways, afterwards, i went to okonomimura(next to another donki, again not that many tourists) to have some hiroshima okomomiyaki. again strongly recommend this as this is a variant that you dont see outside of hiroshima very often, as they will add noodles and some other unique ingredients into it. Probably the best okonomiyaki ive eaten by far. Afterwards I called it a day although it is only in the evening as not going to lie, the mood in the museum got to me a little

16/5 Hiroshima D2, Miyajima, shukkei-en

• woke up in the early morning and went to Miyajima, caught the second earliest ferry. Be sure the check the website for the uptide/low tide timings, and visit based on which ones you prefer for the torii gate at itsukushima shrine. The specialty at there is the anago don so be sure to try some out. I did not do the hike as it was raining a little so i just spent the time walking around the shops and got back to hiroshima
• Went to shukkei en, had a low entry fee
• At this point of the trip, i really underestimated the amount of steps needed in Japan, so do plan a few rest days if you are going on a long trip so yea. My hotel allowed free rental of japanese manga so i borrowed some to read it in my room(helps a lot with learning japanese since it had furigana)
• 17/5 Travel to Hakone, stop by Toyosato Former elementary school(K ON school)
• I got my hotel to forward my luggage to tokyo, and went to hakone. the delivery was estimated to take 2 days, so the hotel did not have my luggage when i checked in the next day. so again, be sure to pack accordingly based on delivery timing. I had a duffle bag with 2 days worth of clothes with me so i was good to go.
• I took the shinkansen > Osaka so that it is covered under my area pass, and booked another shinkansen. To be honest, not sure if there was a more efficient way, perhaps you couldve booked from osaka to wherever at the exact same seat when you are still in Hiroshima, but i was taking a detour anyways so i didnt bother. i then went from Osaka to Shiga to visit the K-ON real life school for my anime pilgrimage. after a few photos, went back on track to hakone, getting the hakone 2 day pass along the way at Odawara station.
• Only reached my ryokan at about 7pm. My ryokan was a bit more unique as it did not provide dinner, but it was cheaper than others, considering that i am solo. the couple at my ryokan was however kind enough to book a spot at a restaurant nearby, and even guided me there. It was very dark at night at the area i stayed in, so do be careful around the area at night.

18/5 Hakone loop. travel to tokyo, Ginza

• One tip here, be sure to download google maps, but DO NOT blindly follow it. i lost signals at some parts of the mountain, and while following the downloaded map to get to a station, the map guided me into the woods, and i nearly got lost. Thankfully, there was a local hiker nearby taking the exact same route as me(he also got lost), and we managed to get onto a walkable path helping each other.(also an instance i wouldve been screwed without knowing how to speak jap, so if you cant, be sure to download the japanese pack for google translate in case of these situations where you are out of signal)
• got back onto the hakone loop, visited Owakudani, took the ropeway(you can get a great view of Mt Fuji here on good days, so check the forecast for sighting of mt fuji), lake ashi pirate ship.
• If you are headed back to tokyo from motohakone, DO NOT FOLLOW google maps if you have the hakone pass. map asked me to take a local bus service from a nearby bus station that comes at 1-2 hours interval, and that one is not covered under the hakone pass. there is another bus station near the port whose bus service are covered under the hakone pass, but it does not show up on google maps. ask for help from the tourist information centre nearby if needed.
• Anyways, using the above stated bus service, i went back to odawara to take the train to tokyo. the pass i had did not include romance car, as i did not come here via Shinjuku, so was not worth the money for me.
• Checked in at my hotel, went to Ginza, uniqlo etc

19/5 Tokyo D2, Mt fuji Day trip
from here on i had very little planned, just a bucket list of things i want to do, and just went with the flow, coming up with plans either the prev night or the day itself

• the previous night, i checked the weather forecast and saw that this is the only day mt fuji is clear for both morning and afternoon, and it was set to be sunny, so i took an impromptu trip to Mt Fuji. I head to tokyo station to take the bus from there to Mt fuji station. i ran into some trouble there, the bus required you to buy a ticket from a nearby station rather than IC card, so my trip got delayed by an hour. be sure to take not about this as google maps does not take the time to buy ticket into account. Google maps even displayed the IC symbol, so i assumed i can use my IC card, but well it proved me otherwise
• Anyways I rented a bike at Taiyo motorcycle shop, i only had a 200cc motorcycle license so i couldnt rent a bike in tokyo and ride to mt fuji, as i wouldve needed to take the highway(or take extra 3 hours riding), and any bikes 125 cc and under cant even get on the highway, so i opted to rent a bike nearer to mt fuji. I got a CBR125 ands tarted my trip, planning to go to tenku no torii and loop the 5 lakes.
• First stop was tenku no tori, it was up in the mountain and had to drive up the mountain road. Had very little people, which was not surprising considering how inaccessible it is, but the view was soooo worth it. For anyone asking for tips about mt fuji, just avoid all the tiktok spot and whatever lawson fuji photo spot, there are SOOOO many more beautiful places to see mt fuji from, like this one. The view was magical yet there were only like 3 other groups of people there, If you cant drive, there is a bus that brings you nearby, and i even spotted a few people cycling up. i got a little unlucky as i got there a lil late at 10am, and by that point mt fuji got shy, so i couldnt get a full view of the mountain :c
• To make matter worst, the weather forecast was wrong and it started raining. i only had a thin cotton jacket on me, and i am not used to riding at a cool climate(16 degree celcius, I am from SEA so ive never ridden at a low temperature like this) so i was freezing on my bike the whole time, had to take a couple breaks at convenience stores to warm myself up. I headed to Motosu lake, which was the furthest one away from me, but highest on my priority list as that location had some of my fav mt fuji photos i see online, and also Yuru Camp. Unfortunately by the time i reached there the tip of the mountain was almost fully covered, and i could not get a lot of good shots for it.
• I then headed to the shibazakura festival, and by this point mt fuji was fully covered. the garden was still great to look at though. Afterwards, i rode back and returned the bike. I had to refuel my bike, but the person at the petrol station was nice enough to help me through it. Do have some cash though as they did not accept credit card for me. After returning the bike, the owner drove me back to a nearby train station. Shoutout to Tanaka-san from taiyo motorcycle rental!
• If there were anything i would change about this biking trip, is i wouldve stayed in the area instead, so that i get a bike early(or the previous day) to get an earlier view of mt fuji at the various scenic spots.

20/5 Tokyo D3 Shinjuku and Shibuya

• Now i am not someone who shops for clothes and stuff, but even then it is worth to check out Uniqlo and GU, former being cheaper than my own country's outlet while latter is a sister brand
• Went around exploring Shinjuku and shibuya, explored around and nothing too special to be honest.
• Caught a movie at Shibuya
• Saekano anime pilgrimage nearby

21/5 Tokyo D4, hitachi seaside park

• took a trip to Hitachi Seaside Park via train and bus.
• I missed the peak days listed on the website by 1 or 2 days(can't remeber), which i thought should be fine as i thought the flowers would still be blooming, what i did not know is by past peak they meant they would start mowing down the flowers itself..... so that was a mistake.......
• Anyways while the day trip was basically a wasted day, i rented an e bike to at least bike around the garden, and headed back to Tokyo
• Ended the day off at Akihabara

22/5 Tokyo D5 Nakano Broadway and Ikebukuro

• Shopping anime goods, nothing much to say here, but for the weebs out there Nakano Broadway and Osaka DenDen town are the two places i bought most of my anime goods, so be sure to visit them rather than only going to Akihabara, the difference in pricing is jarring

23/5 Tokyo D6 Round 1

• By this point, i was starting to limp around as i did not take enough breaks from walking, i essentially messed up my ankles. so logically, i decided to go play some sports at round 1 :D was fun though so no regrets, batting cages were definitely the highlights. Yes you can just go to other batting cages in japan, but i chose to do the Spocha in round 1 which included multiple other sports and arcade games, free to play for certain number of hours. One minor thing would be that this was one moment where loneliness got to me the entire trip, as it have been more fun with friends, considering 4/5 of the sports involves playing with friends.
• I had to go back to rest in my hotel and ice my legs afterwards though

• went to kamakura and visited the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu shrine, and street food at komachi-dori

• Shimokitazawa has a flea market at every weekend, making it a perfect time for visit, along with some thift shopping in the area

26/5 Tokyo D9 Akihabara arcade

• went to Akihabara to do my last anime shopping, but everything was overpriced compared to the likes of den den town and nakano broadway
• ended up spending most of my time at arcades, and their rhythm games are a must to play! every 300-500yen was enough to keep me busy for nearly an hour

27/5 Flight back

• 9am flight from HND airport, and the monorail to the airport operates from like 5 or 6 am, so had no trouble getting to airport early and checking in my baggages

well this post was way longer than what i expected to type, but let me finish off with some tips for Japan:

• yes cash is king, but in tokyo i barely used any as most places are adapting to accept cashless, so i wouldnt worry too much about it, and ATM in 7-11 is everywhere if you need them. The further away you go from cities though, is where you need most cash, including transport as some do not accept IC card.
• get out of Tokyo, like yes tokyo is a nice city, there are a lot of activities to do, but a lot of them you can do in other cities as well? as seen in my trip report, i was most enthusiastic about the times i am NOT in tokyo, it is a great city but for Japan was much more to offer for tourism outside of tokyo. I deliverately didnt go to places like Asakusa to avoid overcrowding, so maybe i just did not get a full taste of what tokyo has to offer, but my highlights of the trip are definitely the places out of tokyo.
• dont make all the tiktok places be the main point of your itinerary, like i came across a bunch of these places, and it never fails to put me off with the sheer number of people trying to take photos or video, like you can get a better photo by just taking a 2 minutes walk down the road? Lawson Fuji, that overhead bridge everyone seen in their tiktok, the kamakura slam dunk spot, trust me the best photo spots are ones you stumble upon walking around aimlessly, i promise you you will find a spot so much better than these tiktok baits that are swarmed with tourists.
• luggage delivery is a lifesaver, especially if you are looking to do any outdoor activities, if your hotel dont offer the service, just head to a nearby 7-11 or yamato company outlet, it is quite common.
