So, the patch went out to fix Meridia's bug spawn rates because the numbers weren't playtested thoroughly as they were being worked on (I really suggest getting a group of "Helldiver Insiders" to help with patching and balancing before updates go out to mitigate patch complaints), and it was a challenge despite me having also played on helldive difficulty.
The spawn rates are supposed to be higher even for new players, this is Meridia and we need to take it down. That's not my issue.
But tell me why even when I dropped a gatling and machine gun turret that acted effectively as Shrieker AA, and I still lost all 5 of my reinforcements (yes I was solo diving to test) as I was fighting for my life on extract just to start the sequence?
Even if Arrowhead does not want you to extract, it should still be possible but through great effort and tactical planning. As someone who has played higher difficulties, my stratagems were hand picked knowing the challenge and my difficulty was still low so I could get familiar with the mission type as well as to blow off steam for fun rather than playing in any competitive capacity.
I appreciate the hotfix for spawn rates, but I do feel like AH didn't touch them for sake of the mission and I think they need to add a little P.S. to take care of that issue. While difficult on Trivial I expect that's also their incentive for new players to either have a squad together or to have them learn the game as a real helldiver would: "Good luck, you figure it out!"!
You guys did an amazing job with the initial release of the game, and I know pressure is high since the initial launch was handled in such a stellar way. I love this game and I know you guys do too. Please for the love of God, please fix the Shriekers at the end. I expect the enemies to be overwhelming but not impossible. It may also be a good time to check your damage rates with the shriekers too, balance them before Meridia collapses.

Hello everyone, So I recently installed a new FS brand T15 full auto trigger kit but when testing it out, the trigger pull didn't feel right and the bolt wouldn't release? Trigger felt like it wasn't connected to anything? I uninstalled it, re-installed it again and same issue. The only other thing I can think of is, did I screw up by greasing it with eclipse grease? I just put a little dab on the metal on metal contact areas but did a use the wrong lube for the job?? Going to try cleaning it up and will update later. Just wondered if anyone new what to check first when the trigger is not releasing the bolt? No air leaks either

I get that some people are experiencing difficulties with folium and thats not good - BUT (and i absolutely dont care if i get shit for this, this needs to be said)
Its the first ever official release under apple, retroarch and ppsspp also had their fair share of problems, hell ppsspp even got removed again for posting the “wrong screenshots”…
All i’m saying is cut the devs some slack, only buy it right now if you can spare the 4.99$, otherwise sideloading it for free is always an option- or just dont do anything and WAIT. Then you wont be disappointed when something is not working properly crying for refunds for something that has been out for just a couple of hours.
I myself have sideloaded it because i wanted to test the damn thing as its running without jit, saw that there is some heavy stuttering and uninstalled it - however i am waiting for a more stable build to try it again so that if it does indeed run on my system that THEN i can go ahead and buy it on the store.
The dev is actively running around reddit trying to fix things, if they truly didn’t care they wouldn’t do that now would they?
Also: i get Folium gets advertised as THE 3DS EMULATOR everywhere, but a quick read of the app’s description on the storefront would’ve told you that this particular core isn’t supported AT THE MOMENT.

After the Ethereum Dencun update, it seems like the savings to the transaction fees on the Eth network have trickled through to the Polygon sidechain.
I was used to paying a transactions with two zeroes of gas fee. (0.0067 MATIC). However, I noticed that we’re hitting about 3 zeroes when making a simple contract call (0.00095 MATIC).
To test this out, I deployed a small smart contract that releases some funds to participants.

Essentially it requires 10 participants to execute the attack() function on the contract before it divides and releases the bounty to the participants. I've left it open in case other people want to try it out.

The gas fees seem to range from 0.00095 for normal network times and 0.0015 for busy network times. This game is a week from becoming 4 months old and the dev quality control is worse than on release date. There are no more excuses like "We need to fix the servers", "game just released and there is too much to patch". Meanwhile I still get shot thru solid objects by automatons since day 1 of release.
I am sick and tired of hearing the same line on discord. "Yes we are aware that bug number 474860337 is ruining the game and we are curently working on fix". Oh, are you now ? You release a new mission that has major broken bs balance bugs that could easily be spotted just by playing the game for less than 3 hours. So either you DON'T KNOW and you dont even bother to put up a barebones amount of final testing and quality control, so the recieving end, the fans the playerbase the customers can have at least okayish time playing this god forsaken game. Or YOU DO KNOW and you say "fuck it we dont care" and release new content in such state instead of taking time to fix the problems.
I already semi quit since developers increased spawns meaning more entities meaning more engine proccessing meaning worse performance if stabilization and optimization of engine isnt done - and they didnt do that since my FPS has dropped by about 20 since release. Has it occured to you that from the moment game became less fun by increasing spawns FPS decreased ? Maybe there is a connection to that and the fact game itself untilizes only 60 to 70 percent of my GPU and CPU with 32gb of ram. Maybe the engine is scuffed and needs changes ? No, we release more free gibs for unwashed masses that deepen the stability sink. Well Im sure the playerbase will like it nevermind we are down to average of 60 thousands players daily with is many times less than we had in april.
I would say I hope for better but Ill be lying to myself. I expect less. I expect that it would take a miracle to get this game back to its former glory days. I expect that Arrowhead will continue its policy of no quality control to meet monthy deadlines of new content that nobody is going to like and if they do it will get nerfed. I expect that the playercount will continue to dwindle till we will be at 10 thousands average.
At least playing HD2 made me come back to DRG where even on highest difficulty game still wants you to have fun.

So last week marked then 2nd anniversary of the fateful day I went into the local family clinic in Holmfirth England and had my life changed in 10 minutes. Here is an over view of various aspects and how they have changed over 2 years

- Pain. Far less than the first 6 to 7 months or so. When I was in constant agony with left sided nerve pain. However I have cycles. First 6 months awful. Winter 22 up to Jan 23 practically went away . Was sitting at work again. Jan 23 to March 23 pain on the right side and noticeable lump started. Very painful,and painful to ejaculate . Subsequently diagnosed as a sperm granola which has since gone . May 23-sep 23 return of left side pulling pain coinciding with summer and testes descending . Sep 23-Nov 23 little to no pain . Nov23 to Dec 23 rolled onto my front in a hotel bed asleep and up with sucking nerve type pain in my right for 1 month. Dec 23 to feb 23 some left side pain . Booked reversal see below . March 23 to may 23 slipped a disc in my neck. Agony . 9/10 on pain scale. Testicle pain was absent as brain was concentrated on greater pain . Now. Neck pain subsiding . Constant feeling on ache or fullness in both testicles with left being worse
- Emotions. A rollercoaster . I’m living my life now and getting on with it . First 6 months was suicidal, second 12 months varied from grief to extreme anger directed at the doctor who performed my op. Now I’ve settled . I want to get back to normal but am starting to forget what normal feels like
- Medication . Tried coedine for first 3 months . Now been on amlytryptline for 18 months 20 to 10 mg a day. Does it do anything ? Not sure he,ps me sleep and I think it’s helped my depression . Would like to come off it
- Sex. Still enjoyable but orgasm release doesn’t feel complete . Am not sure if this mental or physical. I no longer ejaculate daily probably 2 to 3 times a week otherwise it’s sore
- Future. Reversal was booked at best life for oct. I’m deferring to next year to allow my slipped disc to fully heal .
- Life style . I’m back on my bike and go to gym. Can only do 1 hour max though. Still find cinema painful and have to do reclining seats at showcase . Running has stopped . I use a stand up desk at work (although this is for back and groin ). Done some physio for tight pelvic floor which helps.

So...this is likely going to be a long post, I apologize in advance as I kind of just have a lot of my mind to expand upon.
I am a 33 year old male, I first got Covid in late December 2023. It was rough, What complicates this for me is that I didn't feel good before Covid. For years I dealt with major fatigue issues, what some would consider similar to adrenal fatigue type symptoms, low blood sugar feelings every day, anxiety, all kinds of weird stomach/chest sensations, lack of energy, heat sensitivity, anxiety and more. The only things I previously had been confirmed to have that could have contribued to this were low Vitamin D and a hiatal hernia. Over the last few years I've had a batery of heart tests, stomach tests, all never really found much other than the hiatal hernia.
Covid was rough on me for sure. Had the worst cough I've ever had for weeks. Though oxygen remained normal, the worst muscle pains I've ever had, and stomach issues, frequent bowel movement. In the weeks following Covid I felt like my hiatal hernia had been made worse as I was just noticing symptoms in there more. I also feel sleepy way more than I did before Covid. The coughing stopped, but I dont know that any of it totally went away, there were periods of time where I forgot I had Covid and even thought I was totally over it a few times, but right now I am reconsidering it.
The last few weeks I have really been just not been feeling rough..and its nothing new to me totally but it all feels worse.
Muscle pains and soreness...I dont have horrible muscle pains, but I have pains that are just there that I didnt notice before, arms, legs, ribs, back, chest. Now weird feelings werent new to me, but its all so much more noticeable after Covid. Its almost like...My muscles are all just a little heavy/sore, like if I want to go on a walk, its like starting an old car, something at 33 I dont think is the norm, just sitting here typing this paragraph I've noticed a strain/muscle pain in my left knee, upper thigh, fingers, and left wirst. They are low on the pain scale like 2 or 3 out of 10, but they are there. It is similar to the muscle feelings you get when you are sick but not quite on that scale, just a lower level daily 24/7 version of it.
My hiatal hernia has felt so much worse in the last few weeks. I am noticing so much more pressure around it, its almost like a baby kicking in my lower chest/upper stomach when I move positions or lean wrong, or strain. I've had lots of nausea last few weeks also going along with it, it also goes along with the low blood sugar feelings I get which are fixed by foods (not sugar), and sometimes its hard to tell if I am sick or hungry or what.
Along with the theme of stomach issues, and this one gets a little more graphic...I haven't been normal with bowel movements since I had Covid. Atleast my usual. I was..pretty regular pre-covid. Every couple days, maybe once a day, but it was..simple..relatively the same...Since I had Covid, its extremely irregular, much more frequently it can be more diahhrea like, usually very soft, sometimes multiple times a day which used to be extremely rare for me, and where I used to be able to hold it before, it seems to come on much more suddenly for me now.
For a weird one, I feel like my anxiety is worse again since Covid...now I had anxiety for years which was actually caused by all the strange symptoms I had over the years. But it had been maintained and stable before Covid. Now it feels like any adrenaline release at all absolutely screws up my body. Good or bad energy. Watching a sporting event and getting excited = feeling bad...Even gaming...I am an eSports compeititor, mainly with sim racing, but I enjoy other games. I've noticed that if I play a game like Fortnite now, when I get done if its a tense game, I am borderline panic attack and my body freaking out for literally no reason, and it comes on out of nowhere once i'm done. Fortnite seems to do it worst of all games.
There are more things im sure I am forgetting but its very late, and this really hit me today that maybe somehow Long Covid is playing up all of these things after all. I did have an episode of my heart racing last month and they said it was POTS..I had an EKG while it was going, EKG was normal, Chest XRay was normal...I dont necessarily believe it was POTS but I also cant rule it out as I have had other POTS like symptoms before.

Hey guys, just wanted to share a positive experience with Mobvoi support.
I reported two issues with sleep tracking on the TWP3: 1. where the watch only tracks sleep in smart mode when TicMotion is enabled, and; 2. the bedtime reminder only vibrates instead of producing an actual notification.
Took a bit of back and forth and there was a little bit of deflection regarding the second issue but the support operator I was speaking to relayed the information to their engineering team, gathered some debug logs from my watch, and confirmed both issues.
For the bedtime reminder issue they were able to provide an update for me to test that corrected it and at the conclusion I feel fairly confident they intend to fix the tracking issue in a future release.

I thought I would have a little more time to recover, catch up, and then study for the midterm since I initially booked my midterm for June 6th (following the original midterm instructions to choose a time and day from June 3-6). Five days after these initial instructions, we were notified on May 28th that we have to consolidate all our bookings to Monday June 3rd.
