Carrys amounted cannons inspired by Titan speaker man. They harness his power into either energy balls or just flat out lasers.
To make my self clear his max form when he uses all his elements he can only use 1/10 of his forms power including him as the main guy of this whole body.
Moves
Signature move; Packs fist. When Matthew charges his entire arm with power he has the target with a powerful punch, and with the recoil he hits them again so it's like a double punch with one arm.
Normal moves:
Surge. Full cowling but different.
1 Minieye(Minigun eye): Uses his laser eyes as a mini gun to help save power and hit targets with better accuracy.
Ground capture. He uses his tentacles like energy whips by forcing them into the ground and then have to make their way to their opponent grab whatever is touching the ground, and then pull them down to immobilize them.
Field fist. By using his force fields that his energy makes, he shapes them into bigger arms for durability and extra strength.
Power kick. By constantly doing a condtant (front flip like spinjitzu but in disc form and front flip) he sticks his leg out and it hits the target. If the target has high durability the the attack will keep on going like a saw.
Support moves
Force field armor. Covers his body is compressed force field power and where's it like armor. Skin tight but durable. And it see through
Clones wolf. Exposed energy and the compression it to the point it can shape itself into a copy of him and then somehow take color. The two main differences is the clones have a limited power usage, so use too much power it disappears. And in physical design difference the clones eyes are constantly green like glowing green.
Instinct. By enhancing his hearing and touch and his brain process, he can use our off-brand ultra instinct. Laughing his hearing is touch he can feel every movement in the air you can feel everything around him, and he can hear each movement in the air with his ears, and his brain calculates how long it took for the sound to reach his ear then he knows exactly where he attacked her is.

Single elemental moves. Each form only has three.
Fire :
Blue Star. Increase heat to the fire to the point his color turns blue as hot to the touch, all damage increased.
Fire Fist. His fist as if it was made from flames, the punch is fast and strong, and on impact it's a shockwave of fire.
Jet Drive . For places on his back shoot flames constantly for speed. and then the user does a great fire kick.
Water :
Aqua alpha. Water in a wolf head from bites down on the opponent.
Drowner. Basically a small tsunami the size of a house. Many use for chaos and confusion.
Water jet cutter. You know how the water can put a specific kind of nozzle with high pressure it could be the sharpest thing in the world, and be very dangerous. Well he can do that with the tip of his finger.
Lightning:
Pinpoint thunder. All power goes into his fingertips then he strikes at one spot.
EMP. Self-explanatory. Also works on people.
Power ground. Covers the floor in electricity.
Earth :
Earthquake. Also self-explanatory.
Crystal quake. Creates rocky spikes around the area and also as crystals to them. Depending on the crystal you have different effects, quarts will make all electric attacks go to the spikes cars quarts are conductive.
Earth wall. Makes a durable wall.
Ice:
Constant shards. Smg but ice bullets.
Domain expansion, Arctic area. Covers just about the entire area with ice, giving the user just about full control over where he is fighting.
Ice capture. Traps you point it in a giant ice crystal.
Plant:
Domain expansion, Jungles Forest. Creates. A lot of trees and plants to take control of the area.
Golem. Creates a big beast made of wood and plants.
Spear. Covers his arms with wood and vines in a sharp spear.

I graduated with a degree (Engineering) in Computer Science but decided to pursue law afterward (I know, quite the switch!). After getting my law degree, I realized I actually want to work in IT, specifically in tech support. I don’t have formal work experience in tech, but I’ve done a lot of small projects and DIY stuff for learning. I’ve even made some contributions to open-source projects.
I’m aiming to apply to a tech company that works on audio models for text-to-speech and speech-to-text. I'm excited to work with this particular company, but I'm not limiting myself to only this company, I want to work in tech support in general. What should I include in my resume to make it stand out? Any specific skills, projects, or experiences I should highlight? Are there any certifications or courses you’d recommend that could boost my chances of getting hired? Any other tips on how to improve my resume and application to make a strong impression?
Also I have been thinking of messaging the recruiters on Linkedin to get some guide about. Hi! I am a college student hoping to put together my first PC. Honestly, I’d love to go the prebuilt route (I’m super anxious about building my own), but the price difference for quality just isn’t worth it. I have no experience with computers and know essentially nothing, so I’m here asking for advice.
• New build or upgrade? New build, first-timer
• Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/ links) No reusable parts
• PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games) PC will be used primarily for gaming. Fortnite and Overwatch 2 will be most often (including competitive and possibly university esports), but I also want to play Valorant, GTA, and bridge into the interactive story game and horror game realm (BG3, Resident Evil, etc). It will almost always be running Discord calls at the same time (I play with my girlfriend in a LDR).
• Purchase country? Near Micro Center? Located in eastern North Carolina (USA). Can make the trek to Raleigh NC, Virginia Beach VA area, etc, if there are parts cheaper around there than online. I don’t think there are any Microcenters.
• Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) Definitely needs to include a monitor (I don’t know enough about PCs to know a good size or info), keyboard, mouse, and headphones (with microphone either included or separate). If possible, I’d love to also include speakers. I’m not obsessed with the quality of these parts, so it doesn’t need to be name brand. It just needs to function. (EDIT: lol didn’t realize recs didn’t include these peripherals! monitor still needed though)
• Budget range? (Include tax considerations) Aiming for around $800–might be able to push it to $1000, but the lower the better. Anything in that range would only really be possible if it makes a major change to how the system runs.
• WiFi or wired connection? Wifi included — can’t use Ethernet.
• Size/noise constraints? Sound and noise doesn’t bother me much, but obviously the quieter the better lol. Not a make or break for me.
• Cololighting preferences? I would love a pink or white PC with the cool lighting and stuff, but again, functionality rules so it’s not a requirement. I’m also well aware that my budget doesn’t really allow for aesthetics.
• Any other specific needs? Hoping for around 32GB ram and 1TB storage.
I know this is a tough budget!! Please give me any recommendations you have — anything helps. Also some pro tips on putting together your first computer…

Hello travelers!
So my wife and I booked a last minute cruise to Iceland and Norway through NCL this June. We're a family of four, with 3-year-old and 8-month-old boys.
Our Itinerary is as follows:
Day 1 - Reykjavik (Embarkation) Day 2 - Grundarfjordur Day 3 - Akureyri Day 4 - Sea Day Day 5 - Kristiansund (Norway) Day 6 - Trondheim (Norway) Day 7 - Alesund (Norway) Day 8 - Sea Day Day 9 - Husavik Day 10 - Isafjordur Day 11 - Reykjavik (Debarkation)
We're arriving one day before and staying one day after the cruise in Reykjavik.
I was looking for some general tips and advice as to our Itinerary. Looking at the excursions offered directly through NCL (as well as privately through other companies), I feel like what's available isn't really something the kiddos would appreciate or enjoy. Don't think it's a good idea to book many of those excursions for two main reasons:

Many are 3-8 hour long tours, something little kids would probably hate. While ours are generally well behaved and we've traveled extensively with them on multi day, hour long trips, that's usually in the comfort and privacy of our own cars. Also, these tours involve either clamoring onto boats for nature or wildlife watching, moderately difficult hikes, or really long drives. Stuff I think our kiddos might be over with in the first 20 minutes lol.
We want to be considerate of everyone else! There are likely many others on these tours, and don't want to subject them to our kids' potential tantrums, where they are stuck with us for hours. We understand little kids can be stressful, and we're already "intruding" on many people's vacation by simply coming along on the cruise, so we want to limit our impact on others' holiday as much as possible.

Some questions/advice sought are:

As it relates to the Icelandic ports, are all these ports generally easy to walk around and explore on foot immediately following getting off the ship? We're considering maybe doing our own thing rather than booking tours, and simply walk around leisurely and poke around these ports. Is this feasible to do given our Itinerary?
We are wanting to travel lightly, and are debating leaving our car seats behind. I understand Iceland's laws as they relate to child seats. Are taxis or other car transport services easy to book, and how difficult is it to request appropriate child seats? Good idea to leave the car seats at home, or bite the bullet and bring em with us?
Given our Itinerary, anything special or interesting for little kids that stick out at any or these ports? Any recommendations of tours, sights, or experiences would be great!

English: for section 1 question a on paper 1 use pqe, point quote explain, nake one point use a quote to back it up and explain, leave extra space after each point incase you have extra time to spend on it
Question b of that same question make sure if you write the text of a speech the whole text is said speech and if you have to for example write the text of a speech from a famous person you never step out of character. Your opening line should be basically a rephrasing of the question eg:write an article for the local newspaper, you should say "I am writing for the x newspaper to tell you about...", even if its unrealistic they still look for this in regard to your purpose mark.
For the composing:make sure there are famous people you can talk about a lot, also just a few topics that youve got some bit of knowledge on e.g ai might be handy
personal essay: use anecdotes even if they're made up
Short story:I'm avoiding this personally but make sure you show don't tell and alsondont leave plot holes, from what I've heard people who do this already have things like settings, characters and storylines planned out before the exam
Opinion essay: chose for or against and be strongly for or against, if im not mistaken you can be neutral but it's a lot harder
For the single text your first quote shouldn't be from act 1 scene 1 or your texts equivalent,your answer shouldn't be a summary
For hamlet: have lots of quotes, back in as many points as possible with quotes, remember the word regicide and antic-disposition, if the question asks about Claudius' role as villain if must only be his direct wrong doings (laertes, elder hamlet) and not the ones he indirectly caused by making hamlet mad (ophelia, polonius etc).
Comparative:constantly compare your 3 texts,(this next tip only applies if parf of your comparative course is never let me go) MOST of the time if you are doing the question 1 which is split up into a and b where a is in relation to 1 text and b is 2, never let me go will be in part a as it is hard to compare to other texts, this obviously depends on the question but if in doubt do that
Unseen poetry:I'm absolutely useless at this but on my mock I completely misunderstood the poem and got 17/20, waffle with confidence, don't spend too long on it as 20 marks is sweet fa in your English paper and the difference between spending 20 mins and 25 mins is no more than 3 marks.
Poetry: have one poem you can talk for days about no matter what, they will more than likely come up. Have 3 more you understand to be able to answer a question, then your perfectly covered. If you want to be more confident you can learn 2 poems to perfect 50/50 but from here to Thursday time management is important
History: if your a slow writer like me learn a metric fuck tonne of good quotes they're the quickest way to pick up marks, here's a few if you want them

French:be able to write about the Olympics as if your fluent, its probably going to come up. Know your tenses and your subjunctive. Learn off a few proverbs they add marks to any essay. "Je suis tout à fait d'accord avec le declaration Ci dessus","il est neccesaire de pesser le pour et le contre", "n'oublions pas le proverbe" and "a Mon avis" fit into most opinion pieces, know them(get correct spelling aswel mine was affected by autocorrect). Also if your down to the wire learn diary phrased, even if you write a bad diary you will get marks for the phrases
Accounting: final accounts will come up,know 2/3, learn all your ratios and all the theory they will come up, know either budgeting or costing as one of each will come up, that leaves the second 100 marker, it will most likely be suspense as that comes up every second year but it could be a 60 marker, I wouldn't even bother worrying about anything else until ratios,final accounts, budget/costing and suspense are up to the grade your hoping for but if all that is sorted learn off maybe 3 other possible 100 markers, that any you have 4 which includes the 80% likely suspense and 2 will come up, the accounting exam is probably the easiest to predict, and for the love of God know your theory. Keep doing exam questions of your struggling, every time you correct one write down your mistakes and have the list of mistakes next to you when doing the next one, then tear it and make a new list of mistakes
This is all my experience, I will add any good advice for these subject or other subjects that are provided in the comments, all of these are for higher level except for maths, good luck,don't panic and think about the pint that's instore once this is all over

When i was 7 years old. i met this girl called Rachel (not her real name for privacy reasons) from my church who i developed a crush on. At first I just brushed it off. But the as time passed by i fell in love with her personality and her attitude towards me. She is exactly 9 months and 9 days older than me, When i was 10 years old, my parents wanted to change my school. So there was this good school which had a low chance of getting in since the school randomly selected a few students and call them to write an entrance test. So as her dad was working in that school my parents asked him for help. So he helped me get the opportunity to write the entrance test. I still remember the day she was excited about me joining her school because i passed the test. And then we got closer and closer until this guy called Jason (changed ,again for privacy reasons) got into a relationship with her. I was heartbroken but still didn't show it out. Since the entire school knew about their relationship, everyone was keeping a eye on them. So they were unable to communicate. She then approached me asking me to be a middle man conveying their messages. And then during the COVID-19 pandemic we lost touch. After the pandemic everything was going well until i by mistakenly told a person that i like a girl (i didn't tell her name or anything that describes her). But just because they know that i know her, they assumed that she is the one. and started telling her that i like her. since then things have been rough between us. Today was her graduation ceremony and i got an opportunity to see it. After i returned home i cannot stop thinking about her and what i am going to be doing in school for one more year without her. Thinking about it itself makes my eyes fill up with tears. No part of me can imagine a future without her. I had many senior friends who graduated over the past 5 years. I just found this subreddit and don't know if it's active anymore, but if it is please let me know what I could improve on.
I'm trying to induce hypnagogia to lucid dream and i'm pretty good at it. The only problem I have is that when I focus too hard on it, it disappears. I move my eyes a little bit almost involuntarily but more instinctively and the image disappears. When I try to "gaze" at the images it stays but there is almost an image that pops up where my gaze turns into looking and it disappears.
Anyone have any tips for me?

2024.06.01 12:23 GoldRock6523 Advice for 2nd yr CS - Pilani Campus

So my projected CG is gonna be high 6s after the end of first year, I put a lot of useless commitments over acads which is obviously my fault but I'm trying to recover right now. I just really want to hit 8 before SI (end of 3-1) and 8.5 before placements (I'll have to repeat some courses and really pull).
But that's kinda overthinking and too far into the future, so right now for 2nd year, I'll have to average 8.5-9 over the full 2nd year. I heard it's going to be difficult, especially for CS to get a good CG in 2nd year but I have 2 months right now and I'm willing to prioritize acads for the full year.
So I'm just wondering what exactly I should be working on right now, I've looked at the courses, can I just start watching lectures from StudyDeck and going through the textbook and slides? What courses are the hardest to get an A in? What should I be prioritizing? and any general tips for 2nd year CS? or to improve CG post first year?
Someone please help me with this, also please let me know if I'm overthinking/wrong anywhere in the post.

Hey all, I bought the new S24 Ultra right when it came out. I'm coming from an LGV50. I really got good photos with that phone & thought the S24 would blow that out of the water but so far I'm unimpressed. I spent some time setting up the phone & camera using tips & tricks from YT but I'm still underwhelmed. Am I doing something wrong? I dislike the jarring jump between lenses, it seems to take a while to focus, sometimes it takes a while for "the shutter" to release, it's grainy even in reasonable lighting. I would consider myself a very experienced photographer, got a degree in photography 30 years ago, I've been published, I shoot with both historical cameras & digital cameras etc...so I understand the theory behind taking photos, light, shutters, sensors etc. What am I missing? Is it that bad or am I setting it up wrong? Anyone have a link to a video with their prefered settings or can list them here? I'm travelling to Europe soon & was considering leaving my big camera at home since I'm just taking hand luggage, want to travel light & really get the best out of the S24 Ultras camera. I've been an artist for years and it's my main special interest, but yesterday I went 'hm, we should have more books with autistic protagonists' and realised it would actually be quite hard to portray the full experience through just visual storytelling and dialogue. I've been writing a little bit in the game engine 'twine' recently (at its very very basic core, it's creative writing but with choices) and found that very fun, and historically I've found writing really enjoyable and been pretty good at it, but I still feel sick to my stomach every time I think about getting feedback on something I don't KNOW I'm good at
it's hard to explain to other people without sounding like I think my work is too good for feedback, when it's actually kind of the opposite? I'm afraid that if it's not ABSOLUTELY perfect, if there's anything wrong with it at all, it means I've failed totally and I suck at everything. whiiiich isn't a great mindset for responding constructively to critique! I'd never lash out because of it, and I'm going to write anyway because I believe in it, but anticipating that emotional reaction is making me kind of nervous before I've even begun

JR Pass Info

The nationwide JR Pass is a travel pass that allows train and bus travel for a fixed cost over a certain period of days on Japan Railways (JR) services. For a comprehensive source of information on the pass, check out our wiki page or Japan Guide’s JR Pass page.
The JR Pass can be purchased in one of two ways: * Online at the official site * Online from an authorized retailer (also often called a "third-party seller")
There is no way to be certain if a JR Pass will be valuable for you without knowing your exact itinerary and doing the math out. As of October 1, 2023, the nationwide JR Pass and regional JR Passes have increased in price significantly. IC Card Info (Suica, Pasmo, ICOCA, etc.)

General Information

An IC card is a stored-value card used to pay for transportation in Japan. That means you can load the card with money and use the card to pay for trains, buses, etc by tapping the card at train station gates or fare readers. Even if you have a JR Pass or other travel pass, an IC card is recommended because it can be used across transportation systems operated by many different transit companies, as well as for payment at convenience stores, restaurants, shops, vending machines, and other locations.
For tourism purposes, there are nine major IC cards and all of them are completely interchangeable and usable in each other's regions, so it doesn’t really matter which one you get. Where you start your travels in Japan often dictates what IC card you get, since different IC cards originate in different regions, but then you'll be able to use it during most of your traveling, even if you move to a different region. Physical IC Cards

Currently, sales of regular Suica, named Suica, regular Pasmo, and named Pasmo cards are technically suspended due to a semiconductor shortage (except children's versions and commuter versions). That said, there have been recent reports in early 2024 of people getting regular Suica cards at some stations in Tokyo.
If you are landing in/starting your trip in Tokyo, tourists can still get:

A Welcome Suica at Haneda Airport (HND) or a Pasmo Passport at both Tokyo airports (HND and NRT) (Note: Pasmo Passport will be discontinued in August 2024, and may be subject to limited availability before then, based on supply)
Possibly a regular Suica at some major JR East stations in Tokyo (subject to limited availability)
Possibly a Toica IC card at the JR Central portions of Tokyo Station (Yaesu North Exit) and Shinagawa Station (Shinkansen North Exit) (subject to limited availability)
A digital IC card (see next section for more information)

A Welcome Suica or Pasmo Passport acts exactly like a regular IC card, with two exceptions: it is only valid for 28 days, and it cannot be refunded. Please see this thread and its top comment for information.
If you are starting your trip in another region (e.g., Kansai, Kyushu, etc.), sales of their regional IC cards are unaffected by Suica and Pasmo shortages. Please see this page to identify which card you'll get, and it should be available at airports and train stations in those regions.

Digital IC Cards

If you are looking to get a digital IC card, please note that digital Suica, Pasmo, and ICOCA cards can only be used on iPhones, Apple Watches, or Japanese Android phones (this means the phone was purchased in Japan). For instructions on how to get a digital IC card in Apple Wallet, see here. You do not need the Suica or Pasmo apps (which are all in Japanese) in order to get a digital IC card. It can be loaded and used entirely through Apple Wallet.
Please note that not all credit cards work to load a digital IC card. Amex cards seem to have the highest success rate, but Mastercards and Visas can be flaky. Although Visa previously didn't work at all, as of December 2023, loading a digital Suica with some Visa credits cards seems to work, although not all of them. It is not uncommon to not have any of your cards work to load a digital IC card, and if that happens, you might need to stick with a physical IC card.
Keep in mind that digital IC cards cannot be refunded (that requires a Japanese bank account), so you will need to burn down whatever value you’ve loaded onto them before the end of your trip.

IC Card FAQ

I have an old IC card from a previous trip. Can I use it on my upcoming trip?

IC cards are valid for ten years after their last date of use, so if you received the card and/or used the card in/after 2014, it’ll work.

Can more than one person use the same IC card for travel?

No. All travelers who want to use IC cards on transit need to have their own card. Most transit in Japan is distance-based, and the card is “keeping track” of your journey, and it can only keep track of one at a time.

Are there children’s IC cards? How do I get one for my child?

Children under six years old can ride transit for free. If your child is between the ages of six and eleven, you can get a children’s IC card from JR offices by presenting the child’s passport for proof of age. There are also Welcome Suica and Pasmo Passport versions for children. If you are getting IC cards at the airport, they are able to provide children’s cards.

Can I load money onto a physical IC card with a credit card?

No. Physical IC cards can only be loaded with cash, which can be done at ticket machines in train stations, convenience stores, and 7-Eleven ATMs.

I have a physical IC card and I want to transfer it to my phone. If I do that, can I still use the physical card?

No. Once you “move” the physical card to your phone and turn it into a digital card, the physical card becomes invalid. It cannot be used or reactivated.

I’m landing in Tokyo, but then I’m going to Osaka and Kyoto. Do I need a suica in Tokyo and then an ICOCA in Osaka/Kyoto?

No. Once you have one of the major IC cards, it can be used pretty much anywhere. There are some exceptions to this, but they are mostly on individual lines or in specific rural regions. If you are traveling to major tourism cities such as Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, etc., you are likely fine with whatever IC card you originally received upon arrival.

Should I buy an IC card online before arriving in Japan?

If you want to get an IC card online from a reputable vendor, there’s nothing wrong with that. Some of the authorized JR Pass website (as well as other websites targeted at tourists) will sell them bundled with other purchases. That said, there isn’t really any reason to get your card ahead of time. If you’re landing in Tokyo, the 28-day Welcome Suica or Pasmo Passport is good enough for most tourists. And if you do end up in the country for longer than 28 days, you can simply get an IC card from another region once you’re in one (such as the ICOCA from Kansai).

Help! I tried to load my digital IC card through Apple Wallet and the transaction didn't go through! What do I do?

To start, did you attempt to create it/load it overnight in Japan? The digital system goes down for maintenance from about 1am to 5am JST, so try again during Japan's daytime hours. Beyond that, Visa cards often cannot be used to load digital IC cards. Mastercards sometimes have issues too, depending on the issuing bank. Unfortunately, if you can't find a digital card + credit card combo that works for you, you may not be able to use digital IC cards.
