1 - to put forth, mediate, muse, commune, speak, complain, ponder, sing

1 - to complain
2 - to muse, meditate upon, study, ponder
3 - to talk, sing, speak
2 - (Polel) to meditate, consider, put forth thoughts
"He was taken from arrest and trial, and as for his generation, who will meditate that he was cut off from the land of the living [i.e. killed] for the sin of my people, a plague befell them."The definition of "Meditate" is:
I know it isn't the latter, because that is just ludicrous and silly. But guess what? They even tried to claim it is the latter, which is beyond amusing to me and any other sane person reading this.
- To plan mentally; consider,
- To focus one's mind for a period of time, in silence or with the aid of chanting, for religious or spiritual purposes or as a method of relaxation.
"He was taken from arrest and trial, and as for his generation, who will consider that he was cut off from the land of the living [i.e. killed] for the sin of my people, a plague befell them."It still obliterates the doctrine of the Original sin completely.
"He was taken from arrest and trial, and as for his generation, who will put forth thoughts that he was cut off from the land of the living [i.e. killed] for the sin of my people, a plague befell them."It still obliterates the doctrine of the Original sin completely.
"By oppressive judgment he was taken away, Who could describe his abode?..."This unusual rendering is achieved by mistranslating a word, done specifically to alter the actual meaning. Some Jewish translators render it the same way, but they at least have the decency to add a footnote saying:
"\Who could describe his abode?* Meaning of Heb. uncertain." (source: Sefaria.org)As they usually do when they mistranslate stuff.
"From imprisonment and from judgment he is taken, and his generation who shall tell? For he was cut off from the land of the living; because of the transgression of my people, a plague befell them."Does this look like a coherent sentence to you? Jesus is taken from imprisonment and judgement, and his generation who shall tell? Tell what? This is an incomplete sentence - just to change the actual intended message.
Word: ואת = "And his"Crystal clear phrase. Even Google translates it accurately (which is very rare by the way):
Word: ־דורו = "Generation"
Word: מי = "Who will"
Word: ישוחח = "Argue/Put forth/Talk/consideetc"
"And his generation who will talk"Take a look at some of the English translations of his Christian forefathers:

"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree.'" (Galatians 3:13)It bothers them that God Himself is confirming that they are the cursed ones, and He does it in the book they believe in. I am the one who exposed it, and all praise is due to God alone. It bothers this guy who is "eXpOsInG" me, and I won't mention his name because that is most likely what he wants.
"Stone to a stone," or "upon a stone"My answer:
"So this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic." (Isaiah 28:16)I have proven in countless posts that Zion is the ancient name for Mecca. Just look up Psalm 84, and you will see how it mentions doing the pilgrimage in Zion and also mentions "Bacca," another name for Mecca. I have proven how Harran is located in Mecca and that the oak of Bacca is located there as well, and we know according to Psalm 84 that Zion is located where Bacca is located. With this in mind, it’s easy to see what has been done to cover up this prophecy. They have misinterpreted the word "El" as "Upon" instead of "God." The definition of that word is not "Upon"; it means "To/toward" or "God."

Before placing a stone to a stone?Does any of this make any sense to you? I believe it certainly does not. Yet they have all chosen to ignore these valid definitions and instead opt for a definition that isn't there, namely: "a stone UPON a stone," just to claim that God was idiomatically saying "Before you build the temple." The temple was already built, as I will prove later below.
Before placing a stone towards a stone?
Before placing a stone into a stone?
Before placing a stone unto a stone? (archaic term for "to")
Before placing a stone at a stone?
Before placing a stone by a stone?
ועתה - "And now"Here, "אל־אבן" would translate to "God's stone" or "stone of God." Thus, the phrase "מטרם שום־אבן אל־אבן בהיכל יהוה" would be understood as "before placing a stone as God's stone in the temple of YHWH" or "before placing a stone, God's stone, in the temple of YHWH"
שימו־נא - "consider, please"
לבבכם - "your heart"
מן־היום - "from this day"
הזה - "this"
ומעלה - "and onward"
מטרם - "before"
שום־אבן - "placing a stone"
אל־אבן - "God's stone/stone of God"
בהיכל - "in the Temple"
יהוה - "of YHWH" (YHWH)
"More importantly, Exion ignored that “stone” in the Hebrew occurs twice. If we take אל to be God and take it as the construct state (the ‘s) then it would be “before setting stone’s God’s stone”. That doesn’t make sense hence why Exion dropped the first occurrence of אֶ֛בֶן in their translation."Or you could simply not take "El" as a construct state. In Hebrew, a noun followed by another noun can indicate possession without needing a construct state (i.e. the equivalent of adding 's in English). This is often called "smikhut" or construct form, but it is not always necessary to explicitly form it.
"It makes perfect sense with the rest of the verse “in the temple of Yahweh.” It’s talking about before the building of the temple which involved setting stone upon stone."Oh really? Is that why the 3rd verse literally talks about the Temple that already was in existence but was viewed as nothing in their eyes (i.e. insignificant):
"Who among you is left, who saw this house in its former glory? And as you see it now, is it not as nothing in your eyes?" (Haggai 2:3)Explicitly contradicting your claim that it doesn't exist, but you didn't know that because you have probably never even read the entirety of the chapter to begin with. The Temple was already there. A stone was to be placed in it, God's stone, the black stone of the House of God, and not that it was to be built or built anew. This is why I even wrote the article, because the temple of God was already in existence. How you could have missed this, if you've read the chapter in it entirety, is very baffling to me.
16. When Jacob woke up, he thought, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was unaware of it.” 17. And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven!” 18. Early the next morning, Jacob took the stone that he had placed under his head, and he set it up as a pillar. He poured oil on top of it."Going back to Haggai 2, the 6th verse states:
"כי כה אמר יהוה צבאות עוד אחת מעט היא ואני מרעיש את־השמים ואת־הארץ ואת־הים ואת־החרבה:"Which literally translates to:
"For thus says the Lord of Hosts: Once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land."Which they have erroneously translated as:
"For so said the Lord of Hosts: [There will rise] another one, and I will shake up the heaven and the earth and the sea and the dry land [for] a little while." (source)Lying and adding words to the Word of God to make it look like another House would be raised.
"והרעשתי את־כל־הגוים ובאו חמדת כל־הגוים ומלאתי את־הבית הזה כבוד אמר יהוה צבאות:"Transliteration:
"Ve-hir'ashti et kol ha-goyim u-va'u chemdat kol ha-goyim u-milati et ha-bayit ha-zeh kavod amar Adonai Tzva'ot."Not only does it confirm that the House is already in existence, but it mentioned our prophet Ahmad coming to it by using the cognate of his name, "Chemdat," which they erroneously have translated as:
"and the treasures of all the nations will be brought to this Temple."The preposition "the" is not there before "Chemdat," while it is before "Goyim" (heathens), which makes sense because "Chemdat of all the heathens (will come)" and doesn't translate to "The treasure of all the heathens (will come)," as they have it.
והרעשתִי (ve-hir'ashti) - "and I will shake"
את (et) - [direct object marker, not translated]
כל (kol) - "all"
הגוים (ha-goyim) - "the heathens"
ובאו (u-va'u) - "and they will come"
חמדת (Chemdat) - "Chemdat" (proper noun)
כל (kol) - "of all"
הגוים (ha-goyim) - "the heathens"
ומלאתי (u-milati) - "and I will fill"
את (et) - [direct object marker, not translated]
הבית (ha-bayit) - "the house"
הזה (ha-zeh) - "this"
כבוד (kavod) - "glory"
אמר (amar) - "says"
יהוה (Adonai) - "Lord"
צבאות (Tzva'ot) - "of Hosts"
"And I will shake all the heathens, and they will come, Chemdat of all the heathens, and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of Hosts."
"And they will come, treasure of all the heathens, and..."A very awkward sentence grammatically. And the dictionaries do not define חמדת (Chemdat) as "Treasure," but rather as "Desire" or "Precious." But translating this phrase in this way (if we consider it to mean "desire" or "precious"), we would make the verse even more awkward:
"And they will come, desire of all the heathens" or "And they will come, precious of all the heathens."Because it is a singular phrase, and not plural, and as I mentioned earlier, lacks a definite preposition.
The Kingdom of God was intended to be taken away from the Christians and given to a people who would produce its fruits, and this is what happened when Islam came.43. Therefore, I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit."
- Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: 'The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes?'
"Consider, please, your heart from this day and onward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, from the day that the temple of the Lord was founded, consider your heart."Just because God considers the two Houses (the current one they saw as insignificant and the later one) as "different" does not mean that it does not already exist physically but will be a different House.
שבת (shabbat) - "Sabbath"Let's agree that it means what the traditional translations say it means, and I don't mean hypothetically, but let's actually agree on that. However, the prophecy about the new moons (Ramadan) is still there and valid because God has not canceled the Sabbath in the Quran; it is still ongoing:
בשבתו (be-shabbato) - "His Sabbath"
יבוא (yavo) - "it will come"
Verse 40: "O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and fear Me."The new moon to a new moon is combined with the Sabbath to Sabbath. This is a fulfilled prophecy!
Verse 41: "And believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is [already] with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My signs/verses for a small price, and fear Me."
Verse 42: "And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it]."

As a history enthusiast, I was excited to have this replica in my possession. The craftsmanship of the wooden and metal construction was impressive, capturing the essence of the era. However, my excitement soon turned into a slight disappointment when I realized that the rifle was just for decoration and didn't shoot. Despite this minor setback, the replica's ability to transport me back in time and provide me with a tangible connection to history was a positive aspect. The attention to detail and the dedication to preserving its historical significance made the Enfield Rifle a worthwhile addition to my collection. It's a great conversation starter and a visually stunning piece to display in any room. Nonetheless, I can understand how some collectors might be put off by the fact that the rifle is non-functional. While it doesn't impact the overall design and quality of the product, it may be a deciding factor for those looking for a functional replica. Overall, the Denix Replicas 1853 Civil War Enfield Rifle is an accurate and visually stunning representation of a bygone era, making it a valuable addition for any history enthusiast's collection. 🔗RealTree Pump Action Toy Rifle for Outdoor Funhttps://preview.redd.it/1j1gft4t8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8fd23611e6ac4b833f5fa0733fc4aeeecb272879 I've been using the Realtree Pump Action Rifle as a fun toy for my little one, and I have to say it has been a great addition to our collection! The pump action feature is super easy to use and adds to the realistic feel of the toy. One of my favorite things about this rifle is the realistic shotgun sounds, which make it even more exciting for my child. The soft plastic shotgun shells are a nice touch, and they do eject when you pump the rifle to reload. This adds another level of realism to the toy and makes it even more enjoyable for my child to play with. I also appreciate that it comes with 4 shells right out of the box, which is perfect for getting started. One downside I've noticed is that the pump action can be a bit tough for a little hand to operate, which can be a bit frustrating at times. Overall, though, I'm very happy with the Realtree Pump Action Rifle, and it has proven to be a great toy for my child. 🔗Marshmallow Fun Co. Mini Double-Barrel Shooter Toyhttps://preview.redd.it/b3nznalt8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8df3dda20bc3ba726ec45412fa5f10f90df2a546 The Marshmallow Pump-Action Shooter feels like a delightful twist on the classic Double-Barreled Shotguns. The highlight? . Shooting sweet marshmallows instead of bullets! . It's a playful, unique toy that'll add some cheerful chaos to playtime. Despite the absence of actual bullets, it still has the pump-action feeling that makes it so appealing. This shooter is officially licensed and made by the reputable Marshmallow Fun Co. , providing fun, safety and a dash of whimsy to any playdate or gathering. But, remember, it's not for real combat - it's just for firing marshmallows at your friends in a friendly, harmless way. So, if you're looking for a funny, safe and engaging toy, then this is it! . 🔗Authentic Tubular Magazine Lever-Action Repeating Rifle Replica - Non-Firinghttps://preview.redd.it/nu7d5a0u8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a7440706313ba7973ee54e31476efbd4caecde1 I've had the opportunity to use the M1866 Lever-Action Repeating Rifle myself, and I have to say, it's a real piece of history. The gun has such a powerful presence, it demands attention wherever you put it up. The gray finish certainly adds an antique touch, and the wooden stock is both sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. One of my favorite aspects of this replica is the lever-action mechanism. It works just like the original, giving you a feel of the Old West right in your own home. And even though it's a non-firing version, it perfectly demonstrates how the loading system works. However, there's one thing I would change. At 38 3/4 inches, it's quite a large piece to handle. Despite its grandeur, it can feel a bit unwieldy at times. But overall, this M1866 is a remarkable replica that captures the essence of the legend. 🔗Denix 1860 Henry Repeating Rifle Brass Finish Framehttps://preview.redd.it/0lei7f4u8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2f9c2ef3d19324b7865c552c8ff77cbbfda3f3fa The Denix 1030L Old West Lever Action with a brass finish frame is a captivating replica of the Henry Repeating Rifle, a revolutionary design from the Civil War era. Standing at an impressive 42.5 inches long, this rifle has its original tubular magazine system and 24-inch octagonal barrel that once held 15 rounds of. 44 caliber metal cartridges. The brass finish frame adds an authentic touch to this historical weapon and offers a robust feel when held. However, one must remember that although it looks and feels the part, it lacks the necessary components for actual firepower. It serves as a striking conversation piece or a nostalgic reminder of the Old West, but it comes with its own set of challenges as well. Overall, the Denix 1030L offers a blend of history, aesthetics, and a bit of a learning curve for enthusiasts who appreciate the craftsmanship of the past. 🔗Genuine Beretta 1301 Double Barrel Shotgun with Looped Sling Attachmenthttps://preview.redd.it/hu11yz8v8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f6ddba2417a67a1e8c387249999e1f8eb9600d1 As a seasoned shotgun enthusiast, I found the GG&G LPD R SLNG Atch Brtta 1301 Tact to be a worthy addition to my weaponry collection. Crafted from the sturdy ASTM A36 steel, this shotgun confidently stands up to the pressures of combat. The bead blasted and manganese phosphate finish in matte black offers a sleek appeal that meets the Mil-Spec standards. The weight of 0.13 oz makes it a comfortable and portable option for any outdoor activities. What makes this product stand out is the sense of pride and dedication in the "Made in America" tag. This sense of community is evident in the product's engineering and craftsmanship. However, on the downside, the 0.5 oz weight could be lighter for users who prefer even more portability without compromising the shotgun's functionality. 🔗High-Velocity Dart Blaster for Outdoor Funhttps://preview.redd.it/jvgvipev8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=555adede907942751d3d10b8c717898c34e07572 As a kid, I remember always being excited about blasters, so when I got my hands on the Buzz Bee Toys Air Warriors Over Under Double Shot, it brought back all those childhood memories. The design was simple yet effective, and the range was impressive. It could shoot up to 55 feet, which made it perfect for outdoor play. One of the standout features was the double-barreled system, allowing you to fire two darts at once or separately. Plus, the fact that it didn't require any batteries was a great plus. However, the weight and size of the blaster could be a bit challenging for younger kids. When it comes to quality, I must admit I had some doubts after hearing about some breakages from other users. But overall, I had a positive experience with the Air Warriors Over Under Double Shot Blaster. It's definitely a fun toy for anyone looking for some action-packed entertainment. 🔗Non-Firing Winchester Lever-Action Reproducible Riflehttps://preview.redd.it/1v48ourv8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=14901ac8d1b0c3acaee9abfb1b94baebd44d5b07 Recently, I had the opportunity to try out this replica Winchester 1873 rifle. As someone who appreciates the craftsmanship that goes into these reproductions, I was pleasantly surprised by the detail and weight of this piece. Holding it, you can feel the authenticity of the design, with its engraved silver finish and octagonal barrel that harkens back to a time when guns were crafted with precision. However, one thing that stood out in my experience was the non-functioning mechanism. As a replica, it's expected that you can't actually fire it, but I was a bit disappointed that you couldn't simulate the loading process either. Other than that, I think it's an excellent addition to any collection, be it for aesthetic purposes or for use in photoshoots or performances. It certainly adds a touch of authenticity to any setting, and with its sturdy construction, it will likely last quite a while. 🔗Comprehensive History of British & American 410 Double Barrel Shotgunshttps://preview.redd.it/6wbhet6w8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c7f849d497adaef58d6357968026fc767404edc7 As an avid shooter and collector, I stumbled upon this "American & British 410 Shotguns" book and was pleasantly surprised by its thoroughness and attention to detail. With its hardback binding, the book exudes a sense of durability and timelessness, making it a worthwhile addition to any enthusiast's library. The publisher, F&W Publications Inc, clearly put in the effort to create a comprehensive guide, covering a wide range of makers, including well-known brands like Browning, Ithaca, Winchester, and lesser-known ones like Boss and Holland & Holland. The 2004 publication date seems to have provided a solid foundation for their research, with the book featuring a 125-year developmental history of the 410 handgun. One aspect that struck me immediately was the book's generous page count of 208. This ample amount of space allows for fascinating insights and anecdotes that add depth to the content. However, despite its depth, I did notice a slight lack of illustrations, which may have been beneficial to better understand the various aspects of the featured shotguns. Overall, I found the "American & British 410 Shotguns" book to be a valuable resource, with its unique blend of history, research, and practical insights making it a standout guide for anyone interested in the world of shotguns. 🔗Classic Old-West 410 Double Barrel Shotgun Toy Gun for Kidshttps://preview.redd.it/wdp1muhw8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3f0bae755cb0753399665d4bb50affb1edcb740a The Parris Toys Coachman Double-Barrel Shotgun Toy Gun for Kids takes us back to the Old West era in the most exciting way. With its realistic design, the toy gun quickly became my little one's favorite plaything during costumes and pretend play. The double barrel feature truly stands out, adding an extra level of authenticity to their make-believe adventures. However, I do wish it were easier to switch between the two barrels - a minor inconvenience that didn't dampen the overall enjoyment of the toy. Its connection to American history also brought in some engaging conversation starters. 🔗Realistic 410 Double Barrel Shotgun for Ages 5+ with Ejecting Shells and 4 Shells Includedhttps://preview.redd.it/endym3xw8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa50fa2b4d0956ce68214940a1eb16635338362a In my daily life, I've often found myself wishing I could relive the thrilling Western Legends experiences. The Double Barrel Shotgun has been the perfect companion on that journey. The realistic shotgun sound it produces is both exhilarating and immersive, transporting me straight into the midst of a Wild West showdown. With the 4 gun shells included, my Western experiences have never been more authentic and exciting. However, the product has had its fair share of frustrations as well. Firstly, the age grading of 5+ can be a bit restrictive for some, as it leaves out a significant portion of potential users. Another drawback is the battery life; being limited to only AA x 2 (included) can be quite inconvenient during extended playtimes. All in all, the Western Legends Double Barrel Shotgun has been a hit-and-miss experience for me. Its strengths lie in the realistic sound effects and the convenience of having the gun shells provided. Yet, it's let down by the limited age grading and battery life. 🔗410 Double Barrel Shotgun - 1866 Old West Collectiblehttps://preview.redd.it/8zz5ez7x8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a61da3f27a9f22178e2ddd88278ad8b3d5246466 I was excited to get my hands on the 1866 Double Barrel Derringer with Gold Finish, a classic replica gun inspired by William Elliot's design for Remington. What struck me immediately was its compact size, measuring only 5 inches overall - perfect for concealed carry in the old west. However, the hinged barrel required a bit more effort to open for reloading, making it slightly less convenient than I anticipated. The weapon's engravings and faux ivory grips added an elegant touch to its functional design, making it a great display piece. I was pleased that it weighed like the real thing, which added to its authenticity appeal. Though it doesn't function, it definitely looked the part, which made it a compelling addition to my replica gun collection. The icing on the cake was the price, which was surprisingly affordable for such an intricately detailed piece. I can see myself recommending this replica derringer as a gift or simply to add some flair to a collector's display. Just be prepared for the handling experience, as it might be a bit cumbersome for some users. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would love to add more of these relics to my collection. 🔗Historical French Carbine Rifle Replica with 28.75" Barrel Lengthhttps://preview.redd.it/phhwmkmx8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f97ee085f7ad38dc2199f0b19d133dcf092bb9ed The Denix Replicas 1037 French Carbine Rifle Replica is a fascinating piece to have in your collection. This miniature 1763 Charleville musket replica, crafted in a carbine style, is a perfect representation of the original weapon that made a considerable impact during the Revolutionary War. Standing tall at an overall length of 45 inches and boasting a 28.75-inch barrel, this remarkable replica exudes the look and feel of the genuine article. From my personal experience, I was genuinely captivated by its meticulous attention to detail - from the flintlock mechanism to the wood finish. It was an absolute delight to hold and examine closely, making it an excellent addition to any history or weapon enthusiast's collection. However, the size might be somewhat challenging for individuals with smaller displays or limited storage space. Nonetheless, this seemingly small inconvenience doesn't outweigh the satisfaction one would get from owning such a historically significant and well-crafted piece. Overall, the Denix Replicas 1037 French Carbine Rifle Replica is a must-have for anyone interested in exploring the rich tapestry of weapons history. 🔗Realistic Mossy Oak Pump Shotgun Toyhttps://preview.redd.it/5q4pti0y8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3c9575c451452c91f5780622049a26715948867a I was surprised by the excitement when I handed the Mossy Oak Pump Toy Shotgun to my 7-year-old son. The toy shotgun was a great size for him to play with without any worry about safety. The plastic was strong enough to withstand everyday rough play, which was a plus. One feature that stood out was the ability to eject shells with such a real-life pump action. This was something that made the pretend game even more entertaining for my son. Additionally, the toy offered realistic firing noises that added to the overall authenticity of the experience. However, there were a few issues that we noticed. Firstly, the quality of the plastic felt lightweight and could be easily mistaken for a real gun. Secondly, on occasion, the shells would fail to eject properly, causing some frustration for my son. Overall, the Mossy Oak Pump Toy Shotgun provided an enjoyable experience for my son when he was pretending to be a hunter or a soldier in a make-believe world. While I wish it was a bit stronger and had fewer issues with shell ejection, the excitement it brought to my son made it a worthwhile purchase. 2024.06.01 05:12 Uptown_Mango A Pearilous Journey
I noticed something was wrong with my prickly pear when I came home a couple weeks ago. It had grown rough almost scaly silver skin from its base, with its bottom-most stem textured almost like tree bark. It wasn't just the base though— there were some portions closer to the top of the plant, which formed around joints and a little on the pads of the cactus. But the silvery skin at the top was smooth. This, I thought, was concerning and so I turned to the internet. There were two possibilities from what I could find: 1) I was overwatering the plant or 2) the plant was corking. submitted by Uptown_Mango to propagation [link] [comments] The first possibility seemed rather unlikely because the cactus was very firm. All of the silvery skin was quite hard. Additionally the soil of the cactus was bone dry— I couldn't measure any moisture in it. So I considered the second possibility, corking. I had noticed a couple weeks prior that some of the new growths on the cactus were drooping, and it seemed as though the cactus was having trouble supporting some of its weight. It would make sense for the cactus to start toughening up. Although the silvery skin closer to the top of the cactus didn't necessarily fall in line with corking. It still made more sense than overwatering though. So I hesitantly guessed it was corking. Well I was definitely wrong. I came back to my cactus to check in on it after another weekend, and I found it melting like the wicked witch of the west. The once firm silvery skin was reduced to a pile of mush along with much of the other parts of the cactus. After a few days of avoidance, I pulled off the higher parts of the plant that retained their rigidity as I wanted to prepare them for propagation. I went to cut the stem area that they fetched from, but then I noticed stringy fibers appearing from their already hardened ends. So I have a question, are these fibers new roots or are that the remains of some sort of plant internals that I don't fully understand? Can I successfully propagate such large pieces of cactus? Also, what did I do wrong initially that caused the silvery skin to form? (I know that last question is a little tangential to the theme of this sub but I figured the folks on here may know. Fwiw my Christmas Cactus and Thanksgiving cactus that were seated right next to this plant also died the same weekend. It was devastating :( They all lived under the same grow lights and usually get watered at the same time.) TL;DR Prickly pear grew silver scales, deflated, and half died. I am trying to propagate some of the remainders but don't know if those remainders have already rooted or not. I need help. Pictures included for clarity.
