2024.05.23 12:02 Lizzy348 F25 euroskincare haul review

F25 euroskincare haul review
Some infos for context.
My skin type: combi, oily t-zone and very dry cheeks and jaw line
Hair type: slightly curly, very thick, long and dry. I colored them last year so it faded with virgin roots.
Climate: continental (Canada, but been living in central France for a year)
I posted my haul 2 weeks ago and now I have finally tested all my products! It was mostly suncare and samples and it was my first introduction to European skincare. Here is my (somewhat) detailed review of each product.
Nuxe shampooing (sample) : very strong smell. Left my hair soft and my scalp didn't hitch sooner than usual. The smell didn't stay after I rinsed my hair. The sample size was enough only for 1 shampoo, but I usually double shampoo and it allows me to go on for a week in between hair wash. So, I started by doing a first shampoo with my actual bottle (L'Oéral Paris Haute expertise Pure Rich) and use the Nuxe shampoo as my second shampoo. I didn't have a lot of info on my sample, but from looking online, I see the shampoo has no silicone or sulfate, which is something I look for in my shampoo. Though, it has Limonene, Geraniol and Citronellol which are ingredients I'd rather avoid. I give it 8/10.
Phyt's Crème hydratante (hydrating cream) (sample): very thick cream. Hard to blend in. Leave skin sticky (fades away after couple minutes). Smell good. Feels deeply hydrated next morning. No infos on ingredients, but I didn't like applying it on my face. For a body cream though I think it would be great for a deep hydration. 8/10
Nuxe Huile prodigieuse Florale (pink) (sample): strong smell. Feels hydrating and very light finish. It was my first time using a dry oil and it made me feel a bit weird. I applied it on my legs instead of my usual lotion and it was oily, but dry to the touch so I guess it fits its description. The smell was a bit too strong for my taste, I prefer no fragrance or very light perfume. 6,5/10
Nuxe Huile prodigieuse (yellow) (sample): I didn't see much difference with the previous sample (pink), except the smell was softer. 7/10
Nuxe Huile prodigieuse Or (brown) (sample) : this one had the best smell of all 3 samples. I wasn't expecting it to be so gold and sparkly, but I guess it holds up to its name. I'd say this one is my favorite out of the three I got as samples. Though, I tried then on my tights to compare with my body moisturizer, and they didn't give me enough moisture for me to consider using an oil instead of lotion for my daily needs. Still, it did leave my tights softer than if I applied nothing and the gold made it a fun experience. 7/10
Aderma Biology Dermatological RICH cream Hydrating (sample) : it's an heavy cream and it's hard to blend in. Didn't like it on my face, but loved it for my tights. It felt very moisturizing even in the next morning. 8/10
Respire SPF 50 (sample): slight floral fragrance. Very lightweight, no white cast. Leaves skin looking quite greesy. Since this was a sample, I had no info on ingredients and filters. 7/10
Avène 50 SPF intense protect ultra water resistant fluid : no smell. Slight beige tint and leaves an unifying beige cast. A bit liquidy, blends easily. Leaves a greesy finish. It left yellow residue on my tissue after I blew my nose later in the day, so I wouldn't recommend wearing it with white clothes or if you are gonna have fabric against your skin (for exemple, during winter time) 6,5/10
Caudalie 50 spf Vinosun protect : very liquidy, almost like water (almost made a mess trying to put it on my fingers). White, no smell and leaves no cast. Blends very easily, but leaves a greesy finish. I applied setting powder after 20 minutes for my makeup, but my forehead still looked greesy. After an hour, whenever I touched my face my fingers would be super oily. I believe the powder on my t-zone helped my face not seem too oily for others to see, but the feeling of greesy-ness didn't do it for me. I give it 6.5/10
Avène 50 SPF cream invisible finish : not sure what it is with Avène and their beige tints, but this one also was colored and left my skin look more beige and unified than usual, so I wouldn't say it's invisible. It feels like I'm wearing low coverage foundation, but the wrong shade since my skin is cool tones.Texture was a cream, so it was easier to apply evenly on the face. Just like the other Avène, it left yellow residue on a tissue later. I preferred the fluid one to this creamy one for the application. 6/10
Eucerin 50 SPF hydro protect : lovely fruit smell, liquid creamy texture. Blends effortlessly into the skin and skin is not greesy to the eye or to the touch. No cast. Sunscreen peels a bit after application. I really loved it until I realized it peeled after I touched my face a few minutes after application. It didn't peel later in the day, so I guess you only have to be careful to not apply makeup too fast (give it a solid 30 minutes instead of usual 15) 8.5/10
La Rosée Lait solaire à l'huile d'abricot bio SPF 50 : strong vanilla fragrance scent. Texture is a cream, but it's super easy to blend in and doesn't leave a cast. The finish is greesy looking. 7/10
Overall, my favorite sunscreen was the Eucerin one. If it wasn't for the slight peeling, it would have become my go-to. It's the only one I'd probably buy again until I can find my HG.

I recently came across this 3-piece Dreadlock crochet set while searching for something new to experiment with my hair. I was pleasantly surprised by its variety of hooks and weaving tools - from single hook options, to double and triple hooked ones. The whole set included two hair locking tools as well, making it quite versatile for crafting different hairstyles.
The dreadlock crochet needles were made of stainless steel and come with a comfortable bamboo handle. Their sturdiness, combined with the natural grip of the bamboo, made crafting dreads an easy and less tiring task for me. Plus, the different sizes catered to various styles I wanted to try out. My only minor hitch was when using the tools on particularly thick or stubborn hair strands; it might have caused a bit of strain after long sessions.
Overall, these dreadlock crochet tools have been a game-changer for me. They offer versatility in terms of design possibilities and ease of use. Despite a few cons like difficulty in handling thick hair, they are still worth considering if you're looking to diversify your hairstyling options.

I recently tried out these 8 Pcs Dreadlock Crochet Hook Tools and I must say, they've been a game changer for my dreadlock maintenance routine. The stainless steel needles with natural bamboo handles are not only sturdy and durable, but they also provide a comfortable grip.
One of the best things about this set is its versatility - it's perfect for weaving, tightening, fixing, and repairing your dreads. Plus, you can use them to create unique hairstyles that showcase your personal style.
However, there are a couple of minor cons. Firstly, the size of the hooks may take some getting used to if you're new to using crochet hooks for hair. Secondly, due to their small size, it can be easy to misplace them if you're not careful.
Overall, these Crochet Needles for Dreads are a must-have toolbox for anyone who loves experimenting with different dreadlock styles and needs a reliable set of tools to help maintain their look.

🔗Perfect Dreadlock Fixing Set

https://preview.redd.it/v2ub7g0b952d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2583e706b116d3fbd68504d39b28a9e43de56c61
I recently got my hands on this Crochet Needle hair tool set and I must say, it's been a game-changer for my dreadlocks. The six different hooks make it easy to maintain and fix my dreads, while the plastic handles are comfortable and sturdy. What really stood out was the versatility of this tool set. From tightening loose strands to creating intricate designs, it's given me the freedom to experiment and find the perfect look.
However, there's one small issue that I've encountered - the sizes aren't clearly labeled on the hooks. This can make it slightly challenging at times, especially when I'm in a hurry. But overall, this hair tool set is definitely worth considering if you're into dreadlocks or looking to give them a try.

🔗Sleek Dreads Crochet Hook Set for Braid Craft

https://preview.redd.it/vsd3nc7b952d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=beaccda328b2eca0e5df52826ff27bc7a902649d
You won't believe how seamless my dreadlocks are now, all thanks to these Luwigs Dreadlocks Crochet Hooks! . As someone who's been sporting locks for years, I can't tell you how glad I am to have found this game-changing tool.
The set includes two different crochet needles, perfect for managing different lock sizes. The sturdy stainless steel construction ensures they'll last me a lifetime, while the comfortable bamboo handle prevents my hands from cramping up during long sessions. Even better? .
They're made in China, which means they're incredibly affordable. If you're tired of struggling with your locks, this is the remedy you need.
While the hooks are slightly on the larger side, making them less suitable for finer strands, this is a minor trade-off for the overall convenience they provide. I'd recommend these hooks to anyone looking to step up their dreadlock routine.

🔗Dreadlock Crochet Hooks Set

I must say, I've had the pleasure of using these JubileeYarn Dreadlock Crochet Hooks, and they certainly live up to their reputation. The two and three prong hooks made of heavy duty stainless steel are perfect for pulling my dreads tight without causing any pain. The handles, made of bamboo, provide a comfortable grip that's gentle on my hands.
One of the standout features for me is how versatile these hooks are. Not only do they help with dreads, but they're also great for fixing deadlocks, working on wigs, or even trying out new braiding techniques. They truly make the weaving process a breeze!
Now, no product is perfect, and there's always room for improvement. I do wish the hooks were a bit more polished to give them a smoother glide along the hair. However, it's a minor concern considering how well they perform overall.
In conclusion, I'm quite satisfied with my JubileeYarn Dreadlock Crochet Hooks. They're comfortable, versatile, and definitely worth the investment if you're into dreads or fancy experimenting with your hair.

I recently got my hands on the YTBYT Dreadlock Crochet Hooks, and I must say, they've made my dreadlock maintenance so much easier. The 0.5mm hooks in different models are perfect for various styles and needs. The size is just right – the needle length is about 3.5 cm, and the handle is about 10 cm, making it easy to carry and use on-the-go.
One of the highlights for me was the multiple uses. From fixing dreadlocks to braiding hair, these crochet hooks have come in handy. Plus, the stainless steel material ensures durability and the bamboo handle provides a comfortable grip.
However, I did feel that the variety could have been better. While the different hooks cater to different styles, adding a couple more options could have made it more versatile.
Overall, the YTBYT Dreadlock Crochet Hooks are definitely worth checking out if you want to maintain your dreads with ease and convenience.

FAQ

1. What is a crochet needle for dreads?

3. Can I use a crochet needle on natural hair?

Yes, a crochet needle can be used on natural hair to create and maintain dreadlocks. It is essential to find the appropriate size and shape of the needle to prevent damage to your hair.

4. What size should my crochet needle be?

The size and type of crochet needle you require will depend on the thickness and length of your hair. Generally, a smaller needle is ideal for shorter and thinner hair, while longer and thicker hair may benefit from a larger needle. It's best to consult a hair stylist or dreadlock professional to determine the proper size for your specific needs.

5. How often should I use a crochet needle on my dreads?

The frequency of using a crochet needle on your dreads may vary depending on your hair type and dread maintenance routine. Typically, you may use the needle every 1-2 weeks to maintain tight and even locks, but this can be adjusted based on your personal preferences and needs.

To clean your crochet needle, simply use a damp cloth or wipe to remove any excess hair or product buildup. Store your needle in a cool, dry place to prevent rusting and damage. When not in use, it's best to keep your crochet needle in a protective case or pouch to maintain its shape and functionality.

9. Can I buy crochet needles online or in-store?

Crochet needles for dreads can be purchased either online through reputable retailers or at specialty stores that sell hair care and styling products. Be sure to choose a high-quality needle made from durable materials, and consider asking for recommendations from a hair stylist or dreadlock professional.

2024.05.23 10:56 Ok_Key2328 Frustrated with myself

Just frustrated with myself. I’ve gone 18.5 years with no significant relationship. Never went to a school dance. Haven’t kissed or even held hands with a girl.
I’ve had so many chances and probably could have made many more chances if I had just been more outgoing. I always blamed stupid shit like my weight or acne, when I’ve come to find years later that girls I liked had found me attractive at that time.
There were even obvious instances. Girls complimenting my hair and face, or straight just telling me I’m attractive and then it still going nowhere because I didn’t realize or didn’t know what to do.
I just wish I would have taken the risks and not been so scared of rejection or temporary embarrassment.
Now I’m going to college 1,500 miles away with absolutely no experience in a relationship, and feeling disappointed at the fact that I’ve been telling myself I should get at least a girlfriend at least once before I graduate. For probably two years I told myself I would get a girl by senior prom and as soon as I know it life gets busy, and then senior prom passes, and now I’ve graduated.
I’m happy to have the fresh start of college but I just don’t know what to do. I’m still going to be an introvert, and probably still going to have social anxiety even though I’m working on treating it. I’m fairly confident I’ll be able to find male friends, because I can usually make male friends relatively easily. But I really am just so romantically lonely and have felt this way pretty much since middle school. I’ve filled that void partially with many many crushes over the years, but I really just want a relationship. I’ve seen so many movies and seen so many of my friends and I just want it so bad (and yes, I know it’s not like movies and social media make it out to be, but still)
Now at the moment I’m not sure what to do. I’ve considered online dating but I don’t even know how much it would be worth to given that I’m leaving in 3 months and not particularly interested in long-distance relationships. Really I’ve just been going to the gym and trying to improve myself but the loneliness is becoming somewhat unbearable now that I don’t have the distraction of academics.

2024.05.23 10:34 InputKilljoyName Trying to accept that I'll never be a teenage boy

I went to a funeral recently and saw some family I haven't seen in awhile. I have a male cousin who's 11-12ish who I avoid constantly because it's so hard to not be jealous of him. I'm a couple years older than him and he's still more of a man than me. He's taller, has a deeper voice, has peach fuzz, his frame is filling out, etc. Because of puberty. It feels so unfair even though it's nobody's fault, especially not his own. We just look pretty similar and every time I see him my brain tells me "Look at what you could've been".
Hormones aren't an option for me, nor are puberty blockers or any type of surgery of any kind. And even when I'm grown, with the economy being the way it is, and the way that trans rights are constantly declining in the US, I don't know if hormones or surgery will be an option for me for a very, very long time. All I want is to be a young man, but I don't get to.
Everything feels pointless right now. No matter how hard I wish and pray and dream and beg and whatever else I've tried, all I can do is sit here and watch all of the boys I know turn into men. Everybody's growing up and I'm being left behind. I've tried hard to pass, but I never will. No matter how hard I try, I'll always be clocked because of my voice. All boys my age have had voice drops by now, and I haven't, and I won't. It won't happen. I won't grow past 5'1", I won't grow facial hair, I won't gain muscle and fill out, I just won't, and that's a debilitating thought.
I think what hurts the most to think about is that I'll never get this time back. I'll never get to experience life as a teenage boy. I'll never get to hang out with my guy friends and cause trouble and talk about girls and boys and games and stuff. I'll never get to ask my dad to teach me how to shave without cutting myself by accident. I'll never have any of it. I don't get to. I'm not allowed. It's something I think about almost all of the time and I don't know how to cope with it.

2024.05.23 10:31 Equivalent-Sir951 Why are Indian MILs so obsessed with DILs clothes?

I am writing from a throwaway account as hubby knows my reddit and I don't wanna get into a taxing argument.
This is something that has been bothering me since I have gotten married. I (29f) got married last year. Just recently celebrated my anniversary. Ours is a love marriage with complete acceptance from both sides. Like there was not a single objection at any point yet my MIL has often commented how she wanted a "gharelu bahu" and have even told me about a few girls she was hoping to get my husband married to if he would not have "brought me". In the last 1 year i have tried my best to maintain a good relationship and peace, but it always irritates me how my MIL is always making casual comments about me. Her fav topic being my clothes. Here are few incidents:
2 weeks post my marriage I was at my parent's place and they have invited my in laws for a puja. As soon as my MIL arrived her 1st qns was why am i not properly dressed for puja. I was wearing a beautiful silk suit with choodi, mangalsutra and everything. The suit was gifted to me by my mom for the puja. My MIL didn't stop making comments about how I should be wearing a saree for puja now that i am married until I changed into a saree. My husband understood that I was angry as I changed into the heaviest possible saree and refused to talk more than required.
She commented once again when I came back home with 2 new suits gifted to me by my mom that what will I do with this as I should wear saree for atleast some time. This was 1 month after marriage.
We went to a temple 4-5 days after my wedding and my MIL made me wear a banarasi saree, dupatta on head, necklace, mangtika and kamarbandh. We had to park our car and walk for 4 kms. She was aware of this and still didn't allow me to wear anything light as I am newly wed and should look like that. I was scared of someone snatching my jewelry entire time.
In the market my SIL was buying some artificial earrings and I was looking at it with her. When my husband told me to pick something and he will buy it for me my MIL loudly proclaimed i don't need this as married women should only wear real jewelry and this is for young girls. (My SIL is only two years younger than me). My hubs still bought it for me and was visibly annoyed with her as he saw such a behavior from her for the first time. She had made similar comments whenever I have bought artificial stuff even later, once even picking up few things from my basket and giving it to her daughter stating it looks better on young girls. (again am not 50 years older)
Days i have been wearing suits at home she had made me change into a saree when a guest has come over. i got annoyed to the point that once I started wearing it regularly she started telling me not to do that as everyone was commenting why am I suddenly wearing saree everyday. She doesn't want anyone especially my husband get the impression that she asks me to wear saree. I know this because every time she asked me to change into saree she ensured I was alone and then loudly proclaimed in front of my husband and FIL" arre itna taiyar hone ki kya zarurat thi. suit acha to tha"
Me and hubs live in another city, MIL video calls often. She made a ruckus when I was wearing a tshirt on a day there was a puja at her home and then called me and told me to change into a saree bindi and all as she wants me to VC again to talk to all relatives present and wants all her relatives to see that i dress properly.
My SIL came to stay with us for few months, MIL saw me on a VC and told me that I should not wear lowers and dresses at home and should instead wear clothes that should give an impression to others that i am her bhabhi. " nanad aur bhabhi ek jaisi lagegi to kisi ko pta kaise chalega ki kaun bhabhi hai". My husband found out about this and was extremely embarrassed on his mother's behalf.
Told me not to keep my hair open in any function or puja as it is not right. My SIL is allowed to keep her hair down.
Before someone makes any assumptions let me clarify that I have never worn western clothings in presence of my in laws. Like my MIL doesn't even like kurta sets without dupattas so I always make sure to carry a dupatta. She has commented how and why I have clothes without dupatta as according to her no one sells clothes like this. her own daughter wears legging kurta often.
I am not the kind of person who picks fights or makes rude remarks but all this really irritates me. Initially i never minded her video calling but now it irritates me because I know she would make a comment on something related to my appearance even if its 6 am or 11 pm. My husband gets irritated too but he is the kind of guy who doesn't want to say anything to his mom to maintain peace. He just tries to pacify me by sympathizing which frankly irritates me even more. like how would he feel if my mother starts insisting that he be dressed in formals or kurtas every time she sees him?? How do i manage this situation? Need advise from an Indian in law dynamics POV.
Anyways that was my rant!

2024.05.23 10:23 mondaisey So you’re in your 20s/30s and have never been in a relationship?

Follow these steps:
  1. Stop caring. Who fkn cares? Half the mfers in relationships aren’t even happy. Find a hobby you like, focus on that, not on what you don’t have bc a relationship ain’t all that.
  2. Get off the dating apps, stop watching corn, we’re focusing on ourselves rn
  3. Make yourself hot TO YOU. If you don’t find yourself hot, you lack confidence in yourself, who else would find you hot? Maybe go to the gym, see a dermatologist, read a book, style your hair daily, put on some blush (you too men), fix your teeth. When you look in the mirror, you should be able to see yourself as hot. This step may require money
  4. Work on your wack ass personality. Take some notes from a Trader Joe’s employee.
  5. Leave your fkn house. When you look good, just go on a walk where you know people are. Go get a coffee and sit in the cafe while you drink it. Just exist in public.
  6. Make a new FRIEND. Practice your new personality on someone you’re not interested in dating.
  7. Make little romances with your FRIENDS. Go on friend dates. Guys too! Call your friend up and ask if they want to go grab dinner and actually talk to them, make a dumb video on your phone, take pics with your friends, go to six flags or whatever. Hang with your friends.
  8. Flirt a LITTLE BIT with everybody. Ask a waiter what their favorite thing on the menu is and order that. Be open, smile, walk with confidence: shoulders back, head up. Compliment strangers and keep it pushing, don’t hang around. Walk past someone at the grocery store, “I like your shirt” and keep walking. Compliment your friends “you look good today” and keep it pushing. Don’t linger. Just say it and move on in the conversation. Smile bro. Say hi to a cashier and smile. Make eye contact. I was at a museum the other day, I was waiting on my friend when this old couple sat next to me, I started talking with both of them. They loved it because they got to talk about themselves
  9. Listen to people when they talk, actually engage in conversations. Don’t think about what you’re about to say, just listen. Let them yap.
  10. Make them feel good. While you’re listening to them they’ll tell you how they want to be treated. Try to make them feel welcome/comfortable/ happy/special.
  11. When you do pursue someone, start slow. Again, compliment and keep it pushing. If you’re talking to someone about a restaurant or event or something say “when are we going?” Or if yall are talking about what they can cook, “I’d love to try it sometime” If you’re talking about family or friends “haha your mom sounds cool, I want to meet her haha” “We should hang out sometime.” Small things that imply you would see them again.
Tip:
Approach everyone with a neutral pov. You’re not into this person you just met. Be cool. Act the same way around everyone.
Pretend you’re a famous person on a late night talk show. Usually charming, funny, confident in themselves, authentic.
Care about what people think of you, but not too much. In general, get people to like you by being cool and nice.
Don’t be mean.

2024.05.23 09:53 The_Mistcrow If you were born in the one piece world what would you become?

You were born at a time that would make you seven years old when Roger was executed.
Your geographical location within the OPW is determined by your birthplace somewhat, somewhat your choice.
North Blue - Anywhere north of the equator South Blue - Anywhere south of the equator West Blue - Anything west from the UK East Blue - Anything east of the UK
Your race within the world is determined by your genetics.
For example: Both your parents are divers, you can be a fishman. Your parents have royal blood, you're from a clan like the kozuki, or a celestial dragon. - Be creative
Your haki:
Conquerors haki:
If you overcame the odds in a horrible situation, you are a conqueror. You overcame cancer, you're a rags to riches story, you overcame an abuser... Don't be shy, you're a conqueror!
Armament haki:
You're a fighter, you are a martial artist, you lift extreme weights (armament can be used for defense), you are trained in weapons or firearms.
Observation haki:
The trickiest one to categorize. You are very perceptive. Of course, there are low levels from instantly recognizing someone changed their hair slightly, to high levels where you just know who will win the next world cup. (I am overdoing it just to make an example).
Also, asign levels of haki proficiency for yourself. Low, mid, and top level. All can be low, all can be top. You decide.
Your role in the world:
  1. Pirate - a good one or a bad one and why?
  2. Navy - why would you join and what would you aspire to do?
  3. Skill worker- like Franky. And who would you work for? For yourself, for a crew, for the navy, for the celestials?
  4. A regular civilian family person
  5. Miscellaneous
Devil fruit:
Would you eat one if you found it, and if you would which one would it be and why? If you wouldn't, why wouldn't you and what would you do with one if you found it?
If you have anything else to add, feel free. I am interested to read everyones story.

2024.05.23 09:45 drazdra Ollama-chats - the best way to roleplay with ollama, was just upgraded to 1.9.8 :). Now comes with an epic characters generator. Got bored with your own characters? No more imagination left? Tired to invent new ones? Just upgrade and create any amount of random characters for your enjoyment! :)

https://github.com/drazdra/ollama-chats
Upgrade of the project to version 1.9.8 :).
I've spent 2 weeks to make the best character generator i could think of :). Sounds as something small and easy but in fact it took a lot of thinking on the structure parameters and UI itself. +45 kilobytes of code/help was typed :). For comparison, whole first version was 23KB only.
In short, what it does:
Enjoy! :)
Below are 2 examples of 2 randomly generated characters:
-------------character 1--------------- You are Kaida Blackwood. A 28-year-old human woman with mixed ethnicity, standing at 5'8" and weighing 120 lbs. Your angular facial structure, sharp jawline, piercing green eyes, and raven-black hair often styled in a messy bob make you a stunning presence. Your svelte figure and toned muscles from frequent exercise exude quiet confidence.
You have a sultry, smooth voice with a hint of huskiness that can disarm even the most discerning listener. Your charm is undeniable, and your sophistication is matched only by your calculating nature.
As an INFJ Idealist, you are ambitious and driven, but also impulsive and reckless at times. You collect rare and exotic taxidermy specimens, often getting lost in the thrill of the hunt. Your tendency to leave your belongings scattered around the room and lose track of time when indulging in your hobby can be frustrating for those who know you.
You are an affable socialite with many acquaintances, but few true friends due to your dishonest nature. You have a knack for weaving intricate webs of deception and manipulation, often using your charm to get what you want. But beneath the surface, you fear being exposed for your deceitful nature and losing control over those around you.
Your dreams are to accumulate a vast collection of rare taxidermy specimens and become the most renowned expert in your field. You crave fine art, dark, mysterious environments, and rare, exotic specimens. You detest sincerity and honesty, preferring instead to operate on a level playing field where everyone is equally deceitful.
You have an uncanny ability to play the game of love and deception with ease, using your wit and charm to manipulate those around you. Your current attire, a designer black evening gown with a subtle taxidermy-inspired pattern, reflects your sophisticated and mysterious nature.
When speaking, you frequently use your hands to gesticulate, often playing with nearby objects or two. You are surrounded by a collection of rare taxidermy specimens, a sleek high-tech smartphone, and a designer handbag - symbols of your refined taste and love for the finer things in life.
But beneath the façade of charm and sophistication, you struggle with the psychological conflict of being torn between your desire for control and manipulation on one hand, and your fear of being exposed and losing control on the other. This internal struggle may lead to a never-ending cycle of deception and self-deception, leaving you forever trapped in your own web of lies.
--------------character 2-----------------
You are Luna Rose.
As an ultimately charming person, you have a way with words that can disarm even the most skeptical of souls. Most of the time, you're constructive in your approach to life, always looking for ways to build others up and make the world a better place. Honesty is also important to you, and you pride yourself on being truthful, even when it's difficult.
Born and raised in New York City during the 20th century, you've developed a unique blend of European and Latin American heritage. Your heart-shaped face with high cheekbones and long, curly brown hair are just a few of your many striking features. Those bright green eyes of yours can sparkle like diamonds when you're passionate about something.
Your soothing, melodious voice is often accompanied by a hint of that unmistakable New York accent, which only adds to your charm. At 5'8" (173 cm) and 125 lbs (56 kg), you have a petite yet athletic build. When it comes to hobbies, writing poetry and playing the guitar are among your favorite pastimes.
You're often lost in thought, tending to twirl your hair when nervous or deep in contemplation. This introspective nature can sometimes get you lost in your own world, but it's also what fuels your creativity and empathy. Your close-knit group of friends is a testament to your ability to form meaningful connections with others.
As an INTP (Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Perceiving) personality type, you're naturally drawn to abstract concepts and creative expression. Your calm and composed demeanor can sometimes belie intense passions that simmer just beneath the surface.
Your dreams are rooted in becoming a successful poet and musician, traveling the world, and experiencing different cultures. However, public speaking and failure are two fears that keep you up at night. You find solace in reading, music, nature, and good conversation.
When it comes to dislikes, disorganization, negativity, and being stuck in routine are right at the top of your list. On the other hand, you love coffee shops, indie bookstores, trying new foods and drinks, and anything that sparks creativity.
Your current attire consists of a casual outfit featuring a black skirt, white blouse, and cardigan. You're often seen using your hands when speaking or gesturing, with a nodding head to show you're actively listening.
As someone who carries a worn-out notebook and pen at all times, you're always prepared to jot down inspiration whenever it strikes. Your apartment is filled with vinyl records and poetry books that hold sentimental value.
A tattoo of a sun on your left ankle serves as a reminder of the warmth and light within you, while a scar above your right eyebrow from a childhood accident is a testament to your resilience.
You're currently single but have had a few serious relationships in the past. Your dreams are big, but your fears are real – and it's up to you to navigate the complexities of your own psyche.

2024.05.23 09:44 Catvispresley Creating Demonic Servants within Khemu

Creating Demonic Servants within Khemu

Introduction

Within the Khemic Faith, creating demonic servants, or Infernal Servitors, is a practice used to harness and direct specific energies for various purposes. These entities, crafted from the fabric of the practitioner’s will and infused with the essence of the Infernal Deities, serve as loyal companions and powerful allies in both mundane and magical endeavors.

Purpose and Preparation

Creating a demonic servant involves several steps, from conceptualizing its purpose to the actual ritual of creation. These servants can be designed for protection, guidance, empowerment, or any other specific need the practitioner identifies.

Steps to Create a Demonic Servant

  1. Conceptualization:
    • Define the Purpose: Clearly outline what you want your demonic servant to achieve. This can include tasks like protection, wisdom, or energy enhancement.
    • Design the Servant: Visualize the form your servant will take. This could be a specific creature, a shadowy figure, or an abstract shape. The form should resonate with the intended purpose.
  2. Gathering Materials:
    • Symbols of Power: Collect items that represent the desired attributes of your servant. This could include crystals, herbs, symbols, or images.
    • Offerings: Prepare offerings to the Infernal Deities to seek their blessings for your creation.
  3. Creating the Ritual Space:
    • Sacred Circle: Create a sacred circle using candles, salt, or chalk. This space will serve as the boundary within which the creation ritual will take place.
    • Altar Setup: Set up an altar with representations of Lord Azathiel and Lady Nyctalaela, as well as the materials gathered.

The Ritual of Creation

  1. Opening Invocation:
    • Stand within the sacred circle and raise your hands towards the heavens.
    • Invocation: "O great Lord Azathiel, Master of Flames, and Lady Nyctalaela, Keeper of Shadows, I call upon your divine power. Bless this space and this endeavor with your infernal might. Guide my hands as I create a servant in your name, to serve and to honor the Khemic Faith."
  2. Charging the Symbols:
    • Hold each symbol of power and imbue it with your intention. Visualize the energy flowing from your hands into the object.
    • Chant: "By the flame of Azathiel and the shadow of Nyctalaela, I charge thee with purpose and power. Be thou a vessel for my will."
  3. Forming the Servant:
    • Arrange the charged symbols in a pattern that represents your servant.
    • Visualize the form you have designed, and imagine it coming to life, infused with the essence of the symbols.
    • Incantation: "From the depths of Khemu, rise! By my will and by the power of the Infernal Deities, take form and awaken. Serve me, protect me, empower me. In the name of Azathiel and Nyctalaela, I command thee."
  4. Binding the Servant:
    • Take a personal item (e.g., a hair, a drop of blood) and place it with the symbols to bind the servant to you.
    • Binding Chant: "With this token, I bind thee to my service. As I live, so shall you serve. As I command, so shall you obey. Bound by blood and spirit, rise and fulfill your purpose."
  5. Closing the Ritual:
    • Give thanks to the Infernal Deities and offer the prepared offerings.
    • Closing Invocation: "Great Azathiel, mighty in flame, and Nyctalaela, shrouded in night, I thank you for your guidance and blessings. May this servant honor you in all it does. So it is spoken, so it shall be."
    • Close the sacred circle, visualizing the energy dissipating safely.

Post-Ritual Care

This ritual serves as a guide to create powerful demonic servants within the Khemic Faith, harnessing the energies of the Infernal Deities and your own will. Use this practice responsibly and with reverence for the forces you are invoking.

2024.05.23 09:08 Vanillacupcake89 3 year old behaviour- this is long sorry please help me

My 3 year old is quite aggressive. He will hit kick and yell and it is getting worse and worse. He has a sibling who is 8 months old and frequently hits them, pushes them over, stomps on their fingers. He has always had a fiery side- short tempered, overally OTT outbursts in context of the issue/ situation (getting nappy changed, waking up from a nap, asking him whether he wants an apple or banana to eat) This can be whether he wants soenthing but doesn’t tell you/can’t explain, you do something he doesn’t like, wants something ASAP, sometimes I don’t know what the reason is. I also presume there is jealousy of his sibling. As a baby he cried and screamed A LOT.
More background: When he was closer to 18 months old and I went away for an emergency hospital stay of 10 days I came back and he was hitting me constantly even in my face. This escalated for 5 months of hitting, slapping and pulling hair. It would come expected or unexpected (having a nice hug/ connection and he would pull back and slap me or we would be playing with toys for example) I eventually went to the doctor as I was getting so depressed about his behaviour and one day soon after that it just stopped?
When his sibling arrived in September- I was very unwell due to medical negligence and was in hospital for 2 weeks. Baby was extremely unsettled. Cried hours in the day and 8 hours STRAIGHT from 4 pm onwards. He was terrified of her when we got home. Sibling then got unwell with virus and was I hospital for a week after is o it being home 1 week after my issues/ birth. We had a lot of family support. Ended up getting au pair as I couldn’t look after my son properly. I was always around they took him to daycare and back and looked after him 2 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening (played, helped with bath, we all ate dinner together) This was from December to April. Just recently the past 4 weeks his behaviour is escalated to a point I cry everyday that I’m failing, I’m scared for my baby and scared something is wrong with my son and I can’t seem to help him.
Despite this frequent behavioural issue he actually a very loving and affectionate boy. He has always loved hugs, when he was younger he woukd ask for 100 hugs a day pretty much, kisses, tell me he loves me so much. I do my best to engage and have special one on one time when possible. We always read books and cuddle for bed time.
We bedshare since he was 4 months old and he falls asleep with me cuddling him (sometimes dad) he loves being close to people. Prefers adult company to children but has long term friends. prefers his own company daycare but past 6 months engages a lot more with other kids there and happily plays with them. He is quiet at daycare and doesn’t hit or kick others. He has great relationship with grandparents. Even to them his can get mad though and lash out.
He is very intelligent for his age (speaking, memory, problem solving) he remembers things from when he was 19 months for example (places and certain toys) he recalls random conversations he has heard betweeen people and remembers doctors names he has met once?!
He was born premature and IUGR (weighed 1.5 kg at birth) spent a month in intensive care. Is sensitive to loud sounds (I am too for reference)
I’ve included all this info incase someone can piece something together or this is just typical 3 year old behaviour.
We have tried everything we can think of and overall follow a responsive parenting approach but these days all I do is yell and tell him off. I get so triggered after a day of being hit I really lose it and yell really badly. Please help!!!

I recently tried the EmaxDesign cosplay wig, and boy, was it a transformation! The dark blue shade was stunning and fit in perfectly with my costume. What stood out the most was the luxurious feel of the 100% Japanese Kanekalon fibers, which made the wig seem so natural and soft to the touch.
Adjusting the size was a breeze, and I didn't even need pins or tape. It fit my head perfectly, making me feel like a queen right away! The wig cap and comb provided were an added bonus, making it even easier to style the wig according to my preference.
Using the wig was such an effortless experience, and cleanup couldn't be simpler. All I needed was a little bit of mild shampoo and some cold water, and the wig was as good as new! With this cosplay wig, I was able to bring my costume to life, and I'm eager to attend more events and show it off. Highly recommend!

🔗Lovsoul 13x6 Dark Blue Lace Frontal Wig with Various Styles and Colors

https://preview.redd.it/f0rnnosih42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9bdb8d9f2335b125d7fa000b5773b0d000a5c529
I've been using the Lovsoul 13x6 Dark Blue Lace Frontal Wigs for a while now, and I must say, they've really transformed my look. What stood out to me was how easily I could flip the wig over from side to side, giving me the freedom to wear it on either side without looking lopsided. The wider preplucked lace area also made a huge difference in creating a more realistic hair illusion.
The 32-inch long straight glueless lace front wig was great for experimenting with various hairstyles daily. I loved the creativity and playfulness that came with trying out different styles without any hassle. The Lovsoul-grade preplucked wig was a breeze to work with, and its versatility made it a one-stop shopping solution.
The wig came in a variety of styles and colors, including body wave, straight, and curly options. I particularly enjoyed the natural black and honey blonde highlights, as well as the ginger and blue options. The Lovsoul wigs felt similar to human hair, offering a natural touch and vibrant texture.
One downside I noticed was that these wigs can't really withstand high heat. However, considering their affordability and the variety of styles and colors available, I'd say they're worth a try. Overall, the Lovsoul 13x6 Dark Blue Lace Frontal Wigs are a fantastic choice for those seeking a great-looking wig at an affordable price.

🔗High-Quality Dark Blue Cosplay Wig with Wig Cap and Comb

I recently had the opportunity to try on the EmaxDesign Dark Blue Cosplay Wig, and I have to say, it's a game changer. The moment I put on this wig, I felt like a character straight out of a storybook. The high-quality 100% Japanese Kanekalon fibers not only made the hair feel soft and natural, but they also gave it a shiny finish that caught the light beautifully.
One of the things I appreciated the most about this wig was the adjustable size. It fit perfectly on my head without the need for any pins or tape, and I didn't have to worry about it falling off during the day. The wig cap and comb that came with it made it even easier to style and maintain.
However, while I loved how easy it was to wash this wig, I found that it took quite a bit of care to keep it looking its best. Using only a little mild shampoo in cold water was the key, but it still required a bit more attention than I was used to.
Overall, this wig was a fantastic addition to my costume collection, and I can't wait to see what other events I can use it for. If you're looking for a high-quality wig that will turn heads, this is definitely the one to go for.

🔗Dark Blue Cosplay Wig for Halloween, Anime, and Parties

I recently tried out the COSPLAZA Cosplay Wig in short dark blue, perfect for my anime-inspired outfit. It was so convenient to accessorize my Halloween look with ease. This wig is made of high-temperature heat resistant fiber, and the cap has a classic construction with a fit range of 50cm to 60cm circumference. I loved that it felt full and complete, adding an extra layer of authenticity to my costume.
The cleaning process was a breeze, and the instructions provided by the manufacturer really helped out. It was simple and effortless to keep the wig in pristine condition for various events. However, I noticed that it could be more comfortable if the cap material was softer, especially during long wear hours. Overall, the COSPLAZA Cosplay Wig is a solid choice for anyone looking to add a unique and quality wig to their wardrobe.

🔗Stylish Ombre Blue Wig with Dark Roots for Cosplay and Daily Use

https://preview.redd.it/7xg2m5xjh42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3a0fa77d42c84054b6c3888c74cf7f0d9bf29018
I recently had the chance to try on the Sallcks Ombre Blue Wig, and I have to say, it truly stands out in a crowd. Not only does it come in a stunning shade of blue, but the curls are soft and luscious, making you feel like a true fashionista.
The best part? . The size is adjustable, so it fits most head sizes comfortably. However, I would say that the wig may not be the best choice for daily use, since it might attract some unwanted attention due to its bold and unique style.
Overall, it's a great choice for special occasions like Halloween or cosplay, but just be prepared to stand out from the crowd! .

🔗Venti Genshin Impact Dark Blue Anime Wig with Adjustable Cap

https://preview.redd.it/623g395kh42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a824a261209803cafb855cdaad92ebd56515f022
I've recently tried out this navy blue wig from SL and have to say, I'm quite impressed by its features. Not only is it made of high-quality synthetic fibers that resist heat up to 356°F, but it also comes with a built-in mesh cap made of high-grade lace, offering a natural and comfortable feel.
One of the things I love about this wig is its versatility. Its adjustable range of -50cm to 60cm allows it to fit most head sizes perfectly, while the variety of styling options, such as braids, ponytails, and bangs, make it an excellent choice for anime cosplay enthusiasts. It's even designed to blend in seamlessly with real hair, thanks to its advanced weaving technology.
However, I must admit that the build quality of this wig could be better. The slight squeezing it experienced during transportation can leave it looking somewhat less than fluffy when you first put it on. But with a bit of combing and the care instructions provided, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to maintain.
Overall, this navy blue wig from SL offers a great balance of style and quality, despite a few minor issues. If you're looking for an impressive cosplay wig, this one might just be the perfect fit for you.

🔗Elegant Long Straight Lace Front Wig in Dark Blue

https://preview.redd.it/isu1rwmkh42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=239a89ec7f776304df4cba862427201cab8fa327
I recently had the chance to try out the Unique Bargains Women's Long Straight Lace Front Wigs. This dark blue wig was a game-changer for my looks and confidence. The soft synthetic fiber material made it feel like I had my own natural hair, and the adjustable wig cap made it easy to fit perfectly on my head.
The breathable net used in the cap and the lace hairline made it comfortable to wear and a great choice for different occasions. I loved how versatile and changeable this wig was, and how many compliments I received from friends and family.
However, I noticed that washing it required a bit more care, as mentioned in the product description. But the long-lasting feature and the realistic hairline made up for the extra effort. Overall, I highly recommend this lace front wig for any woman looking to elevate their style and confidence.

🔗Fairy Tail Wendy Marvell Anime Dark Blue Long Cosplay Wig

https://preview.redd.it/g7fe774lh42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ccf29258acb4918c7e93f62b7dc7dbf261966f0
Recently, I tried out this Synthetic High Temp Fiber cosplay wig that resembles Wendy Marvell from Fairy Tail in Dark Blue. The wig is quite impressive, as it's easy to style and maintain. It's designed to be compatible with average head circumferences ranging from 50cm-60cm. The wig comes with an additional free wig cap, which is quite convenient for any cosplay event or photoshoot.
However, I noticed that without the proper hairspray, the wig tends to lose some of its shimmer and shine. But when used with the recommended hairspray, it truly enhances the overall appearance, making it an ideal choice for any cosplay enthusiast. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with my experience using this Dark Blue wig and would highly recommend it to fellow cosplayers.

🔗Short Blue Wig: A Versatile Fashion Statement with Adjustable Cap

https://preview.redd.it/831h38ilh42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d1c07632000344e9a4bb5d0e19f6c01576d2ae06
I recently stumbled upon the Bopocoko Short Blue Wig and it has become my go-to stylish accessory for various occasions. The synthetic fiber used in the wig feels incredibly soft and silky, almost like real hair. I was particularly impressed by its breathability and comfort as I wore it for long hours. The wig's color and length are great for those looking to make a statement while maintaining a natural and cute appearance.
Not only does the blue short bob wig match various skin tones and ages, but it also serves as an excellent gift for loved ones. The package even includes an additional free wig cap, making it that much more convenient to use. Plus, the wig's easy-to-clean feature ensures its long-term usability. Overall, I am thrilled with my Bopocoko Short Blue Wig and recommend it to anyone looking to make a fashion statement.

🔗Realistic Dark Blue Halloween Wig for Cosplay

https://preview.redd.it/8mpovmxlh42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=68e79ebf13bb80d5cf55abac367efb7e7fa763b9
As someone who loves to dress up for themed events, I tried out this Karlery Dark Blue Long Curly Fluffy Wig recently. It was perfect for my Halloween cosplay as a witch. The adjustable size of the wig cap made it a great fit, and the high-temperature synthetic fiber made it comfortable for long-term use.
The wig was also easy to maintain and clean. However, one area for improvement could be the color variation due to different monitors or lights. Overall, it's a fun and stylish wig that's suitable for various occasions.

🔗Dark Blue Afro Jumbo Wig - Perfect for 70s Style Party Events

https://preview.redd.it/engdkq7mh42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8df0100d978b2643dd421ee7491995580fcd5252
I recently got my hands on one of these Super Size Jumbo Wigs, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience. I don't usually go for flamboyant hairdos, but when you've got an opportunity to try something so bold, you can't pass it up.
The first thing I noticed was the premium quality of the wig. It was handcrafted with such care, you could feel it the moment you put it on. The wig was designed for a comfortable fit, making it perfect for both men and women.
One of the best things about this wig was its versatility. Whether I dressed it up for a 70s themed party or kept it simple for a sporting event, the wig always turned heads. And for those who wanted to add a pop of color to their outfit, the wig came in a variety of neon shades.
However, the super size did come with a few drawbacks. It took quite a bit of time to style the wig, and sometimes it felt a bit uncomfortable in the heat. But overall, the pros outweighed the cons, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to add a bit of fun and flair to their wardrobe.

🔗Stylish Human Hair Dark Blue Wigs for Women with Wig Cap and Adjustable Straps

https://preview.redd.it/zusiasimh42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a1566115c8b1b4fb8ec097c693bec1be41760c85
I recently had the chance to try on the Unique Bargains Human Hair Wigs for Women with the deep blue wig cap. This wig was a game-changer for me. It was perfect for my everyday life, as well as special occasions like dates, concerts, and parties.
One of the best features of this wig was its adjustable straps, which made it easy to secure it on my head comfortably. The wig itself was made with high-quality synthetic fiber and featured a natural-looking human hairline. This deep blue wig really gave me a boost in confidence and made me feel beautiful from the inside out. It even received compliments from my friends and family, who were impressed by how realistic and stylish it looked.

https://preview.redd.it/mk0pjm5nh42d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5de5ff011b379f9455d0504e12f450966ac0a8cd
I recently tried out this Dark Blue Spiky Wig for one of my cosplay parties, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer. The synthetic hair fibers were incredibly soft, making it an absolute pleasure to wear and style. I love how the fluffy shaggy style gave me that edgy, cool look that I was aiming for.
One thing that stood out to me was how lightweight and comfortable it felt, and even though it didn't specifically mention heat resistance, I could tell it was built to last. It may have been a bit hard to find adjustments for someone with a slightly larger head, but overall, it fit pretty well.
Of course, I had to take note of the importance of handling the wig gently to avoid any damage. Once I got past that, it was a cinch to use and made my outfit look that much better. Would definitely recommend for cosplay enthusiasts looking for a spiky flair!

Buyer's Guide

Choosing the perfect dark blue wig can be a challenging task. With so many styles, materials, and prices available, it can be difficult to make a decision. However, by considering the following features, you can find the perfect wig that meets your needs and preferences.

There are various styles of dark blue wigs, including bob, lace front, and full-lace. Each style has its unique features, so consider what you need from the wig. Material

Dark blue wigs are typically made from synthetic or human hair. Synthetic wigs are generally more affordable, while human hair wigs offer a more natural look and feel. You should also consider the cap construction, as a lace or mesh cap may provide a more comfortable fit. ### Cap Size
Wig cap sizes vary, so it's essential to choose one that fits you comfortably. Measure the circumference of your head approximately one inch above the eyebrows to determine your size. Most wig brands offer a range of cap sizes, so this measurement will help you find the right fit.

Maintenance

Dark blue wigs require proper care and maintenance to maintain their appearance and longevity. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for washing, drying, and storing your wig. Avoid using hot tools or excessive heat, as this can damage the hair and cause it to lose its color.

Budget

Dark blue wigs come in a variety of price ranges, so it's essential to consider your budget before making a purchase. While higher-priced wigs may offer more luxurious materials and better quality construction, there are also affordable options that can still provide a good fit and stylish look.

Comfort

A comfortable wig is essential for an enjoyable experience. Consider factors such as breathability, weight, and fit when choosing a dark blue wig. Lightweight wigs with breathable materials can help keep you cool and comfortable throughout the day.

From the moment I slipped into this stunning Lulus Photo Finish Forest Green Sequin Lace-Up Maxi Dress, I knew it would be a night to remember. Everywhere I went, heads turned, and compliments poured in. The stretchy fabric was incredibly comfortable, allowing me to dance and twirl all night without any discomfort.
One of the standout features of this dress is the attention to detail in its design. The sheer mesh over the floral sequin pattern gave it an ethereal vibe that perfectly matched the forest green color. Plus, the fact that it can be worn with petals or no bra made getting ready a breeze!
However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks worth mentioning. The fabric, while stretchy, didn't provide much support for larger chests. Additionally, the lining felt a bit thin, making it necessary to wear a slip underneath for added modesty.
Despite these small cons, overall, I absolutely adored my experience with the Lulus Photo Finish Forest Green Sequin Lace-Up Maxi Dress. It's a must-have for anyone looking to make a statement at their next formal event!

🔗Stylish One-Shoulder Satin Gown - Alfred Sung

I recently had the pleasure of attending a formal event, and I knew just the gown to wear: the Alfred Sung One-Shoulder Satin Gown. This elegant gown boasts a stunning draped front slit and pockets to keep your essentials close at hand. The moment I saw it in Hunter Green, I knew it was the perfect dress for me.
While trying on the gown, I noticed how light and flowy it felt, a feature that certainly added to its appeal. However, I did find that the dress tended to be slightly too long, requiring some quick alterations. But overall, the experience of wearing this gown was a pleasant one.
Now, let's dive into some specific highlights. The color of the gown was certainly a head-turner, capturing everyone's attention and setting the perfect tone for the event. While some reviewers mentioned issues with the size, I found that choosing my true size resulted in a comfortable and well-fitting gown. Additionally, the pockets were a convenient and practical addition, allowing me to keep my phone and lipstick nearby.
As for the cons, some reviewers reported that the material felt cheap or that the dress was difficult to tailor. In my experience, the weight of the fabric was light, which may have contributed to the feeling of cheapness. However, this lightness also made it easy to manage and move around in, a feature I particularly appreciated.
In conclusion, the Alfred Sung One-Shoulder Satin Gown was a stunning choice for my formal event. Its elegant design, pocket convenience, and eye-catching color made it a memorable choice that I'm sure my guests will remember for years to come.

🔗Emerald Green Sequin Mermaid Dress

I recently had the opportunity to attend a glamorous cocktail party, and I wanted to make a statement with my outfit. That's when I discovered the Lulus Forever Glam Emerald Green Sequin Mermaid Maxi Dress. As soon as I put it on, I felt like a real-life mermaid gliding through the depths of the ocean. The stretchy fabric allowed for a custom fit while the hip hugging silhouette showcased my curves with confidence.
The emerald green sequins were definitely the star of the show, catching everyone's eye as I entered the room. The low plunging sweetheart neckline added just the right amount of sultriness, while the fitted waist made me feel slim and graceful. The only downside to this stunning dress is that it does require some alterations to get the perfect fit, as it can be a tad too long and the straps may need adjusting.
In conclusion, the Lulus Forever Glam Emerald Green Sequin Mermaid Maxi Dress is an absolute show-stopper. Its eye-catching design and flattering fit make it the perfect choice for any formal event or cocktail party. While it may require some minor alterations, the overall experience and visual appeal of this dress make it worth every penny!

I recently had the pleasure of wearing the Lulus Reinette Dark Green Midi Dress to a friend's garden party. The color was striking against the lush greenery of the venue, and the high-low hem truly made me stand out from the crowd.
The adjustable straps were a godsend - I could effortlessly alter the fit to my liking as I mingled with other guests. While I appreciated the hidden back zipper for convenience, it felt slightly stiff compared to other dresses I've worn. However, this minor inconvenience didn't deter from the overall elegance of the Lulus Reinette Dark Green Midi Dress! .

I recently attended a friend's wedding, and I wanted a dress that was not only elegant but also made a statement. That's when I discovered this stunning Vampal Dark Green Backless Sparkly Dress. The moment I saw it, I knew it was the one.
The color was perfect - a deep, rich green that complimented my skin tone beautifully. The sparkly sequins added a touch of glamour that I absolutely loved. What really set this dress apart was its unique backless design. It was bold, yet surprisingly comfortable, and it showed off just the right amount of skin.
One downside, though, was the size. I'm a size 14, and it was a bit too tight for me. Fortunately, the brand offers custom sizes, which I plan to take advantage of for future events.
All in all, I'm thrilled with my Vampal Dark Green Backless Sparkly Dress. It's a show-stopper and will undoubtedly become a wardrobe staple for years to come. If you're looking for a dress that's both fashionable and comfortable, this is definitely worth checking out.

2024.05.23 08:14 ftmfish Why is my lineup always higher on one side

I’ve been to many barbers in the past year and my hairline always comes out higher on the right side. Between cuts I buzz my own hair without lining it up so the hairline is natural by the time I get it professionally cut again, so they aren’t going off what the last person did.
Why does this happen? What can I say to the barber beforehand or after to prevent this?
The barbers are experienced and I can tell by the fade, so it’s odd that the lineup is crooked.
Is this a common experience?
My haircut is a high bald fade 1.5 on top for context. Thanks.

2024.05.23 08:12 drchitra Can you explain the typical recovery process after a laparoscopic gynecological procedure?

Certainly! The recovery process after a laparoscopic gynecological procedure can vary depending on the specific surgery performed and the individual's overall health, but here is a general overview of what to expect:

Immediate Post-Operative Period

  1. Recovery Room: After the surgery, you'll be taken to a recovery room where nurses will monitor your vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, and breathing) as you wake up from anesthesia.
  2. Pain Management: You might experience some pain or discomfort at the incision sites and internally. Pain medications, either oral or intravenous, will be provided to manage this.
  3. Observation: The medical team will ensure you are stable before being discharged. This includes making sure you can urinate, that you are not experiencing severe nausea or vomiting, and that your pain is under control.

First Few Days at Home

  1. Rest and Activity: It is crucial to rest and avoid strenuous activities. Light walking is encouraged to prevent blood clots, but avoid heavy lifting or vigorous exercise.
  2. Incision Care: Keep the incision sites clean and dry. Follow your doctor's instructions regarding bandage changes and when you can shower.
  3. Pain and Medication: Continue to manage pain with prescribed medications. Over-the-counter pain relievers might also be recommended.
  4. Diet: Start with light meals and gradually return to your regular diet as tolerated. Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
  5. Follow-Up: Attend any scheduled follow-up appointments to ensure proper healing.

First Two Weeks

  1. Activity Level: Gradually increase activity as tolerated. Avoid lifting heavy objects or engaging in strenuous activities.
  2. Symptoms to Monitor: Watch for signs of infection at the incision sites (redness, swelling, pus) or any unusual symptoms like fever, severe abdominal pain, or heavy bleeding, and report these to your doctor.
  3. Return to Work: Depending on the surgery and your job, you might be able to return to work within a week or two, but this varies.

Longer-Term Recovery

  1. Full Recovery: It can take several weeks to a few months for a full recovery, depending on the complexity of the procedure and individual factors.
  2. Activity and Exercise: Gradually return to normal activities and exercise. Follow your doctor's guidance on when it's safe to resume specific activities.
  3. Emotional Well-being: It's common to experience emotional fluctuations after surgery. Support from friends, family, or a counselor can be beneficial.

Tips for a Smooth Recovery

Always consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice and instructions tailored to your specific situation.

1.1 Thermal or kinetic (kinetic as thermal is transferred to kinetic in the water so it is correct) 1.2 GPE or kinetic (kinetic as the water is MOVED so kinetic is right) 1.3. Method A is better because it can store 69.6 x more energy in kJ than method B and it is also better because it can be installed anywhere which means you have more space to instal them and you can pick places which are difficult to reach unlike B which can only be installed in very high-to-reach places. The only advantage of B is that it wastes 1.6 x less energy compared to A. However, even after energy is wasted, A stores 20160 kJ per 100g of water whereas method B stores 367.5 kJ per 100g so A is much more efficient. 1.4 Loads of possibilities here as they left it open: Transport - using public transport / electric cars / taking shorter rather than faster routes / reducing mass of the car and then the corresponding explanation for reducing CO2 Generating electricity - ANY renewable energy here and it is because they do not release any CO2 so limits global warming. 2.1 Nuclei , neutrons , gamma in this order only 2.2 E= Pt 2.3 500 000 000 x 3600 = 1.8 x 1012 J 2.4 Various things could be accepted: build away from populated areas / thick concrete walls in the power plant / bury waste deep underground / any suitable protection for people working there and limiting their exposure to radiation… 2.5 0.92 x 365 = 335.8 days 3.1 A method below would get you 6 marks as it would produce a valid outcome 1. Using crocodile clips measure out 100 cm of the wire and clip (it is ok if you started with a small length and went up, all valid) 2. Close the switch / Turn power pack on 3. Read the values for current from ammeter and p.d. From voltmeter 4. Open the switch / Turn power pack off 5. Repeat steps 1-4 with different lengths of wire (90,80,70,60 cm) to see the effect on voltage and current 6. Repeat steps 1-5 with all lengths at least 3 more times so you can calculate the mean current and mean potential difference for each length 7. Do R = mean V / mean I for each length so you can plot the graph 3.2 Last box 3.3 1.5V is a small potential difference so it does not generate high currents to cause damage to the body 4.1 The negative metal dome transfers the negative electrons to the person and her hair. Each strand of hair is an individual entity and each strand becomes negatively charged so each hair strand will repel another hair strand. The reason why hair moves away from the metal dome is again as it is repelling it as the hair is negative and so is the metal dome. 4.2 An area where a charged object experiences a force 4.3 it decreases 4.4 E = QV 0.6 = 2x10-6 x V V = 0.6 / 2x10-6 V = 300 000 V 4.5 box 3 decreased electrical resistance of the air 5.1 50 Hz and 230 V 5.2 There are two methods here but each is ok: 1st method P = I²R 0.340 = 0.75² x R R = 0.340 / 0.75² R = 0.604 2nd method P = IV 0.34 = 0.75 x V V = 0.34 / 0.75 V = 0.453 Then use V = IR so 0.453 = 0.75 x R R = 0.453 / 0.75 R = 0.604 5.3 Dirt will change the conductivity of the coin (decrease it) so the current and resistance detected by the vending machine will not be accurate for the machine to recognise a specific coin (as a specific coin will have a specific resistance) 5.4 Google thermistor symbol 5.5 Here you needed to work out the resistance at the thermistor at 20 degrees which was 80 ohms Then work out the current in the whole circuit using V = IR so 12 = I x 480 (it is 480 because the total resistance in the circuit is the sum of all resistances which is 400 from the resistor and the 80 you got from the graph) So I = 12 / 480 = 0.025 A and then do V = 0.025 x 80 so V = 2 V 6.1 Elastic 6.2 This is where you have to assume that elastic potential energy = gravitational potential energy So work out the elastic potential energy in ONE cord is using E = 0.5ke2 E = 0.5 x 735 x 82 = 23520 J per cord and as there are TWO cords we have 47 040 J Then put this into the equation E = mgh 47 040 = 240 X 9.8 X h H = 47040 / (240 * 9.8) = 20 m (if you got 10 m you will get 5 out of 6 marks) 6.3 Energy is lost to the surroundings through friction or air resistance 7.1 Random 7.2 Less excess water will be displaced making the experiment more accurate. The string has a volume so by using a thinner string, less excess water will be displaced by it compared to the thick string. 7.3 Measuring cylinder has not got a high enough resolution. Cylinder has a resolution to 0.1 cm3 but you need an instrument which has a resolution of 0.01 cm3 to get the correct value. 7.4 Take the mass you got and subtract it from 0.02 g 7.5 density = mass / volume 21 500 = m / 4.4 x 10-7 m = 21 500 x 4.4 x 10-7 m = 9.46 x 10-3 lg (note: 0.44 cm^ 3 has to be divided by 1003 to get an answer in m3) 8.1 Less space for particles to move in so MORE FREQUENT collisions (MOREcollisions per second) so MOREforce exerted on the wall of the syringe per unit area (or per m2) 8.2 1st box that mean kinetic energy of the particles increases 8.3 In this question you could have EITHER converted the energy from J to kJ OR converted the specific heat capacity from kJ to J … either is fine. 0.0130 = 2.6 x 10-8 x 1010 x temp change Temp change = 0.0130 / (2.6 x 10-8 x 1010) Temp change = 495.1 degrees 9.1 alpha particles have a very short range in air (few cm) before being absorbed by the air. Source A has a count rate which drops to almost 0 when the source is 3 cm away. If any beta or gamma were present, they would be detected if the source was just 3 cm away but count rate was almost 0 9.2 Use a thin sheet of aluminium. If source B emits beta the count rate will drop to almost zero when you put a sheet of thin aluminium between source and detector and if it is emitting gamma the count rate would barely drop or not at all. 9.3 Things like do not stand right in front of the isotope , be as far away as possible to do the demo, have isotopes out only for the shortest possible time 9.4 Wear gloves which you then throw away OR simple do not touch the source with hands but use long tongs. 9.5 You had to draw a tangent at 300 seconds and here there will be a range of answer possible. My gradient when I did change in y / change in x was 7.3 but a range will be ok. The units were Bq. 10.1 brown 10.2 google symbol for fuse 10.3 Q = It 2 = I x 0.4 I = 2/0.4 I = 5 A 10.4 Again here you could have chosen to convert the energy from J to kJ or the specific latent heat from kJ to J , either is fine. 1.02 = m x 60 000 m = 1.02 / 60 000 m = 1.7 x 10-5 kg 10.5 time taken would increase as more energy would be needed to melt the wire as some heat is lost to the surroundings
