So here‘s why I YOLOed my whole life savings into long term LULU calls (exp JUN07):
The market overreacted after the last earnings report, causing the stock to crash. Historically, the stock is now significantly undervalued. And looking at the chart, LULU has only dipped deeply below $300 ONCE, back in 2020. For the past four years, it has ALWAYS rebounded quickly from the $300 level, making this a prime buying opportunity for you apes.
LULU also has a solid financial health, a strong market position, and high-profit margins. Their new products hit stores in May, which bodes well for the next earnings report. Regarding the product officer who left a few days ago: yes he left but that won't impact next week's earnings, not even Q2 but it will have effects in 2025. There’s no way this stock won’t go up after pricing in the worst of the worst
TLDR: LULU‘s weakness is overstated. They have great fundamentals, solid financial health, consistently beat estimates, and after the market's overreaction last time, the stock is poised to rebound. 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

I have studied crypto for the last few weeks. Here are my initial impressions. Air drops are silly and a feeble attempt at marketing. NFT’s are a mostly a get rich quick scam. Go for it if you feel lucky. Please don’t bet the farm.
The coins that have the best future are the ones with a limited supply, otherwise you have the same problem as fiat currencies, where you literally dillute the supply and value away. I am not against blockchain technology, as it is the future, but the wild price gyration is bizarre. I know that many coins are still in their research stage and frankly they should not be on the market yet. There is widespread price manipulation on most coins.
Seems like L1 coins have the best chance of succeeding.
Moving forward, I believe most coins will go broke. Nothing wrong with speculation, but without some sort of due diligence it is ultimately detrimental to the individual buyer and crypto industry. One could argue many stocks on the NYSE and Nasdaq are gambling and they would have a good case.
I am still interested in blockchain, but the more I study it, the more I realize it is still early. Purpose driven technology and real world adoption will eventually separate the winners from the losers.

so, I'm gonna explain everything in extreme detail. as much as i can. everywhere i tried to learn how to play from confused me so much so i tried to explain it all to make it the LEAST confusing. it's just going to be a long explanation and I'm so sorry for that. shorter explanation at the very bottom.
first thing to know is: the game itself is very simple. you get all of your stacks to 21-26 before the other player does and trying to stop them from doing so. essentially is a simple math game with strategy.
second: you need at least 30 cards in your caravan deck. you don't have to have exactly 30 but you can't have 29 or less. gotta have at least 30.
those are the first two things you need to know.
so, now onto what do all of the cards mean in the game? ace thru 10, just means 1-10. that simple
the special cards mean something entirely different they do not mean numbers. as in the king, queen, jack and joker. these go on top of numbers and effect what the original card does.
kings go on top of a number and double the number. another king stacked on that king doubles it again. so, a 9 would turn into 18, and then another king with that would make it 36. you can apply this on your own cards too.
I'm gonna skip over queens and go to jacks. jacks when added onto a card take that card out of the stack. if you stack it on a card that has 1 or more kings it will take those kings and the number away. so without the king there it just takes the number card away. either way, the number disappears. this can be applied on your own cards too.
jokers go on top of a suit you want to get rid of. and it gets rid of any of them on the table including your own. so on top of a diamond it gets rid of all diamonds on the table.
queens can counteract the joker by bringing back the suit. I'm not sure exactly what else it does or if that specific thing is correct, i don't use queens personally.
so, now we have a basic understanding of the cards and their meanings plus the general idea of what you need to do going into it. there is more, but i'll get into that as i go on.
when you boot up caravan with an npc like ringo in the beginning of the game, it'll take you to the first screen which is placing a bet. if you aren't used to playing, keep it low. but you can always do an equal bet, which is just matching their bet. you can raise the amount if you wanna drain them more of their caps but that is up to you my friend.
after you place your bet, itll take you to the next screen. a group of all your cards, one row on top and one on the bottom. one showing the backs of the cards, and one showing the front. so, this is where you either add or remove cards. remember have at least 30. the higher the number of cards in your caravan deck the better though it makes you less likely to run out of cards. if you run out you lose the game and your caps.
so, the best numbers to store in your caravan deck are higher numbers. like 5 and above. specifically 10s, 9s, and 7s. "why this exact combination, op?" because it makes 26! so you should stock up on these cards
where do you get cards? from specific vendors around the mojave wasteland, if I'm able to edit to add later which vendors i know of that sell cards i will. if not ill make sure i comment. you can only get them in the main menu of their vendor screen, not in misc not in apparel not in aid nowhere else. so you'll have fun scrolling through the entire menu of their shop lol
other cards to stock up on? jacks and kings. these are so so so important!!
when buying cards, make sure you do not have any cards that are the exact same from the same place. you can have the same number and suit, that is okay. but not from the same place. that is illegal in the game. so this is an example: a 4 of hearts from gomorrah and a 4 of hearts from tops are completely different than two separate 4 of hearts from tops. make sense?
now onto the strategy part of the strategy math card game that is caravan...
so, i don't use queens or jokers cuz they are pretty irrelevant to the game and no npc i've ever played against has used them against me. the jokers can fuck you over and the queens themselves are just so confusing to me I'm still not entirely sure if i have it down what they do.
the beginning of the game starts off with you putting down your first 3 cards and you cannot proceed to stack on top of the first cards until you complete this task. you do not have to follow strict rules with what card you start off with. some people say only start off with 10s, that is simply not necessary.
if you remove/discard cards out of your hand they cannot be played for the rest of that game of caravan. discarding cards after your first three cards are placed will end your turn and go to the npc to play a card. just start off with whatever is helpful in that moment for those first three cards. i go with the biggest numbers i can, whatever is in my hand.
once the three cards are placed on the table, sometimes the npc will put a jack on one of your cards and that's just part of the strategy.
don't fret. you will get your revenge.
focus on building your stacks while simultaneously stopping them from building theirs. i personally like to be petty and stack a jack on one of their cards almost immediately after they do it to me.
when stacking your numbers stack in numerical order. smallest to biggest or biggest to smallest. it's what works. you cannot stack the same number in the same stack. it's pretty cool to stack the same suits together but not required.
I'm pretty sure you can break the big to small and small to big process if you stick to the same suit. i can't remember off the top of my head right now but in my tired state it sounds right at the moment.
you use jacks when you don't have your own card to play, jacks are used throughout the game on the npc and yourself. if you don't have any cards in your hand that can directly add to your stack, try to destroy their abilities to build their stacks. that's why you stock up on the kings and jacks. they can ruin the npc's game.
you use kings on the npc when they are close to achieving 21-26. do anything to put them above 26 and if they add a jack to the king you placed, make it so when they do that it puts them the furthest they can be from building back up to that stack. as in, put a king on the highest number they have in that stack <3
if you want to add a king to your own stack to make it easier to get to 21-26, be wary npcs might just decide to use one of their kings against your king. it's very rude but they do this sometimes. like i said before don't fret. their karma will be their pockets drained.
so, you don't always have to do the 10, 9, 7 method. you can also do king, 5, 6 method. you stack kings on the 5 to get it to 20 and then add a 6. bada boom. but relying on this might not help if you don't have enough kings OR if they decide to be a douche and add another king on yours making it 46 instead of just 26.
find a method that works best for you, but you don't HAVE to stick to this method or any method! you can switch it up and figure out what is easiest for you. like have one 10, 9, 7 stack and then another stack is 5, 8, 10 and another stack is ace, 5, 9, 10. that's one little idea. it isn't something you need to stick to!!
just keep them on their toes. use these methods to your advantage. make sure you are building your stacks and getting to 21-26 before them.
so far, no-bark in novac is yes a crazy man who somehow spits facts he is a high better and so is the ambassador at the ncr embassy on the strip. still trying to find even more high betters.
condensed ways to win caravan:
•you need 21-26 to win. if you get above 26 you have to fix that stack or discard it. closer to 26 the better
•keep higher numbers in caravan deck
•caravan deck=the cards you're playing in the game
•stock up on good cards but not doubles of the same card from the same place
•remove any cards you won't use from caravan deck before fully playing the game with npc
•build your stacks while you destroy theirs
•ace-10 = 1-10 nothing special about them they're just numbers
•jacks=removes card(s)
•kings=double card(s)
•jokers/queens=unnecessary. not needed. confusing and self destructive.
•go in numerical order, keeping suit may break this rule. bigger to smaller, smaller to bigger otherwise
•use jacks throughout game
•only use kings on them to make them go above 26
•use kings wisely on yourself they may stack a king on yours to fuck you up
•if they stacked a king on your stuff remove it with a jack whenever throughout game. avoid discarding the entire stack completely
•no numbers or kings/jacks to play on your own stacks in your hand? stack jacks/kings on their stuff instead
•try not to discard stacks OR cards from your hand you won't be able to use them for that specific game after you discard
•buying cards takes place in the main menu of certain vendor's shops, nowhere else. not aid/apparel/weapons/misc. only main.
•no-bark in novac: high better
•ambassador at ncr embassy on strip: even higher better
•more cards in your caravan deck the better, if you run out of cards to play you will automatically forfeit your caps.
•10, 9, 7 method=recommended not required
•5s with 2 kings then 6 method=not exactly recommended so tread lightly

Not interested in crypto. The intent of this forum is to have a collective mind for best stock option investments.
Please have researched opinions. I know this may not be best financial advice, however I feel that at times this may be better than actual financial advisors. Some of the fees they charge, I may as well use that fee and gamble on here, rather then never seeing that money again.

In the very heart of bible country, nearly the buckle of the belt, is the state of Oklahoma. It was October in Oklahoma, leaves were changing color, and the heat was gone. The fall hunting season was already on its way to another good year turnout of hunters for Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma City Walmart was stocked to the brim with Halloween candy, costumes, and color hair spray as far as the eye could see. And there were always many little eyes alight with delight as Halloween was known as the signal for the “holidays”.
Children dream. The possibility of becoming a ninja, superhero, Greek goddess, or even the main villain out of that summer movie, the one that everyone had to see. You know that villain.
These Children were easily found anywhere costumes were to be had. It was nothing to see a little head bob up over the isle of half shelf, the ones that ran for acres. And in a very juvenile voice, one could hear the pleading, “Please, please mommy.” Spooky sounds playing over the k-mart speaker system. As costumes were picked out with love and a small giggle of fun. A giggle of fun Michael Rhodes would no longer be able to share with his children.
In September of 2012, Brittany Dillard, one of the seven nieces and nephews staying with Michael Rhodes, when Britanny was asked to leave. Her behavior had gotten out of control and the Rhodes’s felt she was being irresponsible to her baby, by dating a gang member, especially sense he was a Crip and she was not. Some of her other behavior had been less than lady like behavior outside the home.
Brittany felt she was the victim of this, and she hadn’t been given a chance to explain how things really were. But her auntie and uncle were not here foolishness. Both parties were very head strong. Maybe because they were related.
Michael Rhodes was a family man. The beautiful wife and four kids plus the seven nieces and nephews meant stretching the budget to make it all work. Sometimes there was a stretching of the patience too thin, a consequence, Ms. Dillard discovered.

Having just been received back from the Watchful Eyes of DHS, they were just getting settled back into some kind of home life. With the “holidays” fast approaching, they were excited the costumes were out in the stores.
A phone call, to Brittany Dillard, one of the 7 Rhodes had taken in, would start the evening of October 19, 2012, and shattered lives.
On the late evening of Oct. 19. Driving into the neighborhood, members Dulxw women, a small group of the gang known as 107^th Hoover Rolling Crips stop and get out of the car. Within just a few minutes, they had fired a weapon, slashed the tire of the family car, and threw rocks breaking two windows. No one was home at the time, much to the ire of the entire group. Then they left, they would go to call Fuston. Even though he rolled out of Enid, they were able to get him to Oklahoma City.
Brian Bulter went to Pennon’ s house before the incident took place. Bulter had ridden with Howard. Bulter had agreed to “rob some Mexicans”, but then he got to help kill an innocent person and nearly his daughter.
The police were called and there was a small investigation conducted. Without any evidence, there was not much that could be done.
For the safety of the children, Rhodes had the children picked up. Brittany was asked to leave as well. This was concerning the drama she had brought upon their household.
Brittany called and went to stay with Mrs. O’Neal, the maternal grandmother of Brittany’s baby.
On the evening of the Oct. 20t, Mrs. Rhodes had spent all day getting harassing phone calls from the women of Dulxw. Mrs. Rhodes repeatedly told them; Brittany was not there. The land line just rang with call all from these women. After it seemed to finally die down, Mrs. Rhodes and her daughter left the house to go to dinner. They wouldn’t even reach the place they were headed out the next evening with her friends to get a little rest from the ongoing drama dropped at her doorstep. She left her youngest daughter and her 19-year-old son, Jalan at home with their father.
That night late on the evening of the 20^th, Fuston and his crew rolled up on Rhodes’s house in two cars. Ronnie Fuston was impulsive, angry, and looking for another chance to kill. This Dillard woman fit the bill no matter what, but they all had to die, according to Fuston.
Ronnie Fuston, Terral Howard, butler, pennon, and Jordan crept up in the thick darkness. Anothy brown JR was told to remain in the car, according to court documents. The darkness of the neighborhood added to their stealth. The car had not had its tires replaced and thus sat in the driveway for them to hide from line of sight of the front door. It would only take a second for Fuston’s hot raging impulses to kick in. He ran for the door at a full barrel roar. With the other in tow, he kicked in the front door to find Rhodes on the couch half asleep with Rhodes three-year-old on his chest. The first hit was in the shoulder of Rhodes, the blood spattered on his toddler. The noise and the blood woke her, Rhodes dropping her on the couch behind him in protection. She screamed and cried, covering her ears.
Rhodes never had a chance to react as two more bullets struck him. Everyone else had fired wildly hitting nothing. They didn’t search the house, had they, they would have found Rhodes’ 19-year-old son, Jalan.
They ran out leaving the door wide open. Hearing the shots, neighbors were stepping out to see what happened, one neighbor would see Fuston speed away. She would later tell the police she saw it only leaving and didn’t have anything else.
Having heard the gunshots, Jalan had been playing video games in his room. He ran into the living room. Jalan found the door open and that his dad was on the floor up against the couch. He helps sit his father up and called 911. As he did, he snatched up his little sister.
Jalan tried to wipe some of the blood from face as he held his phone with his free hand. He had sat her on the edge of the couch so he could see both her and his father.
Rhodes was holding his son’s hand as he lay there and bled out. His eyes went dark as Jalan didn’t know if and how to do CPR. For Christ’s sake, he was just a kid!
When the police arrived at the scene, Mr. Rhodes was deceased. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he was officially pronounced. His wife and children were thrown into the middle of chaos and Mrs. Rhodes blamed Brittany for her bad choices and what she had done to bring this tragedy down on them.
This is not where this story ends. Things would take the road not taken with full knowledge of the consequences
The police would question every family member to see what they could learn. They even decided to question the three-year-old daughter. All she could tell them was, “monsters hurt my daddy.” This broke a lot of hearts. This child was fatherless, and the worst part, she was in his ears when Mr. Rhodes was murdered. When she was questioned, she was still wearing her father’s blood.
Jalan hadn’t seen the actual incident. This made his mother very thankful, and she praised God. She would praise him for saving her son and daughter again when hearing in court that Fuston wanted them all dead.
Fuston drove back to Enid with Butler, there would be no victory had in the split between Brittany and Dulxw Women. During the drive Fuston changed his cell phone number. Now did he change it to run from the murder or run from the girls, after a botched hit. It was time to cool his heels for a bit.
Butler told him on the ride back this murder was going to come back to haunt him. Fuston just shrugged it off. Either way, Fuston had the confidence of a gambling addict as he told butler confidently, that girl won’t testify.
For about a month, there was nothing in the investigation. But it had not grown cold.
Minor thefts and other minor offenses had been occurred. Nothing to really raise an alarm. Just the way it was designed to be by this “Lil’ thug that couldn’t.”
One night in December, thinking his murder of Rhodes was over for him, he continued his thug life just the way he liked it. After all, it was Oklahoma City, there are NY style clubs and women.
In 2012, Trelon Haley, Anthony Brown, Donta Young, and Ivan Williamson were all friends. They spent a great deal of time hanging out in “the Ville.” And often were found at the Martson Sisters or Judd Julian. When not there, they could be found at a vacant lot near Fuston’s mother’s old home.
This vacant lot was one of the places used to keep a cache of weapons. This was the place they stowed.
In October, around the time of the Rhodes murder, Fuston found himself at his cousin’s house, Judd Julian, where Fuston was using Judd’s computer to surf Facebook. Fuston found a picture of someone named “Marciano,” with a wad of cash in his gob.
He told Judd that he was going to “hit a lick” which meant he wanted to go kill someone. Judd didn’t take him seriously at the time.
On the evening of December 22^nd, 2012, Fuston decided he was going to get that money from “Marciano”. Fuston load Haley, young, brown, into the car. Haley drover. Fuston was sitting in the passenger seat, leaving the other two in the back. Fuston gave directions to Haley, he drove.
The location that Fuston directed Haley to, was a trailer home.
The four crept up, the darkness of the trailer court holding their shadows in secret. Haley was on one side of the door, brown and young on the other. When Fuston knocked, he used his best Hispanic voice and called out to behind the door.
Crites was home sick for work today and was certainly home when his unwelcome guests arrived. Crites opened the door, when he saw who it was, he tried to close it. Fuston’s name and face were all over the news, and not to mention they all lived in Enid together. Fuston prevented him from closing the door by placing his arm in between the door and the facing.
Fuston fired his gun into the trailer house. Crites had been hit with such a wild shot, that luck was not on his side, and Fuston shoved his way in, taking his cohorts with him. Crites was hit in the shoulder. When Brown and Young entered the trailer, Crites was holding his left shoulder with his right hand. Both walked past the scene and moved to toss the bedrooms.
Crites swore he had nothing. Angry, Fuston yelled at him and shoved him on his back. Fuston had taken the stance, rigidly over Crites in a fashion one might find a police officer standing over a suspected and again he screamed at Crites. “where’s the stuff? Where’s the money?”
Crites held his palm up to prove he wasn’t a threat. All Crites could do was think about his loving wife, Kelly Churchill. He loved her so much and was hoping, praying in his head they would just leave. “I don’t have anything, please don’t hurt met.”
Moments later, while searching for the bedrooms for drugs, and money, Young would hear shots ring out, as he later testified. Young left the residence after finding nothing in the bedrooms and heard one or two more gunshots.
They were all back at the car and moved out of there quickly. Haley was driving. The shots woke neighbors and at least one resident was able to make out the car as it sped away.
The ride back quiet, when the events just happened were brought up, Fuston said, “it was self-explanartory.”
Fuston couldn’t help himself not long after the murder of Rhodes was already bragging about it with the pride of a newborn’s father. Later when Crites was killed again with the chest thumping. This would not be his downfall, come on, it’s Oklahoma we all gossip.
Between 1:30 and 2:00 am, Churchill could not reach Crites by phone. He was late picking her up from work. Churchill caught a right home with two co-workers. She was taken to a house with all the lights on and the front door was standing wide open. Churchill ran up to the trailer home and walked inside. She found Crites lying in the middle of his own blood. Churchill called Crites’ boss then 911.
Sgt. Nick John with the Enid police department received the call around 2:18 AM. He was called to the residence of Crites regarding a homicide at his address. When Sgt. John arrived at the scene, Churchill was hysterical.
Through the hiccupping sobs, Churchill told the Sargent what she had found. Sergeant John went inside the residence and checked Crites for a pulse. He had none, there were others in the home at the time, Sargent ordered everyone out.
Tommy Rose, an evidence tech with Enid police department was called in around 5 am. Rose recovered 10 .45 caliber shells casing from the Trailer House. Rose submitted these to the Oklahoma Bureau of investigations for test.
The state medical would work on Christmas eve to complete the autopsy on Crites. Crites suffer eleven gunshot wounds in total. The Bullets recovered from the left arm, pubic bone, and the spine. The cause of death was ruled a homicide.
Sometime just after Christmas Williamson was walking with Fuston down to the store. Fuston asked if Williams had heard of the Columbia Street murder. When Wilson indicated he did and pointed to himself and looking crazy. Fuston said he went to somebody’s house, disguised his voice as Hispanic, when the man opens the door, Fuston fired.
January 9^th, 2013, Fuston was jailed on an unrelated charge. During a phone call to Haley, he was head telling Haley to get rid of the hammers.
Williamson went to the house on Wabash, where the vacant lot was. He then called a gentleman by the area of Oakley. Williamson would then send Haley a Facebook message letting him know the gun had gone.
On January 11^th the Enid Police contacted Oakley and informed him he had possibly received stolen property. After speaking with his attorney, Oakly gave him the .45 Taurus, purchased from Williamson.
During the summer of 2013, Judd Julian, was with Young, brown, Haley. While together young told Julian about the Crites murder. Julian would later testify about what Young.
All of which landed Ronnie Fuston on death row and a child without her daddy.

Got a great deal on a lease for a Hyundai SE RWD in California through broker but problem is the specific color of the car I want is still in transit and won’t get delivered until next week. Incentives for the lease will close before delivery so I don’t know what I should do. Should I pick a different color that’s in stock? Biden chose to run for a second term, most likely because he had beaten Trump before and because he's relying on the incumbency advantage. Normally, being an incumbent is a huge advantage. Most incumbents win reelection and the current political environment does not match the circumstances of Carter and Bush Sr's defeats. The economy is the other major factor and it is doing well based on conventional metrics (stock market is up, unemployment is low). Trump is also a uniquely controversial and unpopular candidate. He is the first major candidate to be a convicted felon. On paper, Trump should be easy to beat.
However, an incumbent president hasn't faced another president since 1892. Trump has his own incumbency effect and it might be stronger than Biden's. Most Americans perceive the economy to be doing worse than five years ago. The stock market doesn't matter when you don't have a 401k or own a home. It's hard out there right now if you're renting and living on a monthly budget. People remember the economy doing better under Trump than under Biden, even though that may not be true.
Age is an often underestimated factor. It doesn't matter how healthy Biden is. He looks old, a lot older than Trump whether you like it or not. Americans love a youthful candidate! Imagine the contrast between a candidate in the 40s or early 50s versus Trump, who is the oldest candidate ever except Biden. And there are plenty of alternatives if Biden had chosen to not run again. (Newsom, Whitmer, and Booker off the top of my head)
And just because he is healthy now doesn't mean he won't be healthy three years from now. Biden dying in office is very dangerous for our democracy. A president has died in office in over 60 years. Most Americans have not experienced such a destabilizing event, especially since Harris is also very unpopular. It would be a huge hit to presidential legitimacy when legitimacy is being scrutinized.
Despite Biden having a few major achievements, it doesn't seem to be having a big impact on voters. He has failed to sell his success. That's not completely his fault, the media environment is not conducive to providing good information. Yet it shows that it does not matter if he's, on paper, the most progressive president ever. Americans are dissatisfied. Americans are unhappy. Americans are angry.
Polling is indicating the election is close. Of course, we're still months out and polling will continue to fluctuate. A lot can happen until then. Yet this election should be a slam dunk for the Democrats if anyone but Biden or Harris were running. Biden is gambling that his incumbency will be enough to win. I want to write every little detail that’s happened but I’ll just share the key points:
I (29M) aspired to be a doctor for the last 7 years. After so much effort and suffering, last year I was accepted into med school (oh the joy) but there are some details I should share:

1. I first started working a job (pharma) during Covid to gain experience in the professional field and hopefully find pleasure in what I did. Jobs are not fun, I get it, but being inside a sterile bubble wearing double layers of gowning and keeping my hands up while I watched a machine fill syringes was anything but pleasurable.
   
2. I had no money and even though I was working, I was not a full time employ, meaning I was disposable at any time. I spent 2 years trying to earn a full time position in a job I could not see myself working long term.
   
3. While working I tried making money on the side by gambling (can’t describe it any other way) in the stock market. This was when the stock market was going up due to the influx of money during Covid so things seem great. However, like all things go up, they most come down and I ended up losing more than I earned. It was this and the pressure of not having an actual stable job that pushed me to study again to apply for med school (FYI, this was my third attempt at applying for med school)
   
4. After I applied and was waiting for responses of the schools I applied to, I met someone and for the first time in my life I fell a strong desire for someone else. Guess what happens? I get scared and somehow messed it up (atleast that’s what I think happened, my friends tell me she was just playing me) so much so that I was actually played at the end and became this person that I didn’t recognize. I liked this person. She made me feel hopeful and at that time she was one of the few good things I had going for me.
   

That last one is important, because I ended cutting it off just right before I started med school and you could guess how well was my first year (it went fucking horrible). I was paranoid and spent most of the time in self isolation trying to survive in my own. I tried distracting myself with my classes but even that was not working as I was failing my courses. In the end I failed 3 essential courses and have to go through first year again while the rest move on. It sucks, but I later find some other shit about myself that kinda explains why certain things happened and it clears things up but it doesn’t fix the problem. I’m sorry for venting, just wanted to share these for those who may have gone through any of these things and know some way to overcome them.
Shit happens is all I can say right now, and right now I feel like crap but I have this desire to change for the better. I’m no quitting med school (yolo) and will hopefully spend this year working on myself. One thing that was sabotaging me was looking for validation from woman (this shit made me do some dumb shit) so I erased all social media (fucking Instagram) and am just waiting for that dopamine withdrawal. If anyone cares to share how it’s been going for you and what may help to self improvement, know I’m all ears (and eyes in this case, you know, cause you read in reddit).

I recently got got by Facebook adds and absolutely fell in love with the Teal Euphoria figure. I really really want to gift this to my mother whom I've given several succulents to over my life.
I'm not a collector and have no interest in particularly gambling on blind boxes for this particular gift. So my questions are about the most cost effective and I guess less headache inducing way to get this specific Unicorn.
Would it be better for me to wait for an opened (legit don't care if it had a box) version of it to appear on sites like ebay or mercari (just signed up tonight).
Or is it actually better to bite the bullet and gamble and attempt to sell everything else I buy to those sites I'm following?
Secret 3rd option, trade everyone I buy for it?
Currently seeing this one go for 120$~ USD and I'm concerned prices are going to go up.
Realistically for me, responsible spending would be in the 45$ USD range for me. (Not including the shipping to my mom)

I'm sorry for being a downer, but I don't understand how these basic rules are SO HARD to understand. This is no different than betting your house on the underdog in a football game. And some of you, if I'm to understand, have done this. And all power to you! But stop giving me hope for the future of this stock, because I am confident that you don't know what you're on about.
Once again, I apologise. I'm a holder - have been from the start - but the predictions these top comments have made have fallen flat since the small squeeze. It just feels like horoscopes for bros at times.

I just realized at 2 in the morning that the stock market is closed tomorrow. What the heck. Also, apologies for the $100 prediction for last week. Be careful with your money or you’ll be 98% down on your calls like me, selling them for pocket change before they expire.
Shares. Long term. You should probably invest the same amount in this as you would into other “shitcoin/shitstonks” a lot of us are like Theo Von who said he couldn’t handle his crypto investments because he wants to know how much money he has, not see the money go up and down. You’ve got to get past that mindset and for some it takes a long long time. Go long term. I don’t care if it’s $FFIE and “FFIE will go to the moon though”. If you keep investing too much eventually you will lose too much. The rich can afford to risk that shit all day because they already have enough money and maybe even multiple properties. The 10X’s from the other shitvestments will pay for the loss if FFIE were to fail. If you bought above $1.00 like me, you already went full degen. Especially if you put more than 10% of your investment portfolio into this (at really any price.) (doesn’t matter if you got lucky with a 20x and now you’re riding profit) You don’t see the rich putting in $200,000 into ANY <$1B market cap company, just because they have 2 million dollars laying around. Because soon they’d have thousands instead of millions. Time is money.
I’m saying this because of all the posts I saw this past week about putting everything in to pay all sorts of debts, medical bills and rent payments included. If these people were serious, then there is a decent amount of people out here that will soon be out on the streets or literally die soon from health issues because well the stock was over a dollar when I read most of those posts. This is a road you do not want to take. I’ve passed up probably millions of dollars while working at shit jobs all because of trying to do quick investments and technically gambling on stocks. Throughout my years, had I just bought a little bit of most of all the stocks I’ve ever traded (I’m talking broke boy $20-50 buys at a time), maybe I would already be able to retire. .

Hi, I don't normally post on reddit but I feel like I need to open up on this.
Some background for context: I come from a poor, first gen household, and I've always been driven to do more; be more. Back 3-4 years ago, I was reselling shoes, making good consistent money doing so. I was also dropshipping, something that I was able to find success in. I was doing everything right at the time... doing well in school, building a brand, building wealth, and truly happy. (wow, my 18 year old self would be so fucking dissappointed)
It wasn't until around my freshman year in college when I started "day trading." I really regret doing this, because I didn't know shit at the time (and still clearly don't) but was losing thousands of dollars already. Funny enough, I worked a job during my freshman year in college before starting trading and I lost my entire savings from that job in 1 week.
This continued for longer and then a year later I started sports betting on top of it (during the summer of my sophomore year). I think that during the start of football szn, I made about 7k in one weekend and was feeling all the gambling emotions (i.e. pride and greed).
Basically, any wins I had never lasted. (...who woulda guessed?) Eventually I lost it and was trying to recoup losses. Got back up to 1k in the green sports betting, then lost even more after... So, I've just been chasing losses and that number has climbed and climbed.
On the day trading side, there have been times where I make profitable trades every day for 3 weeks straight, but it never lasts and actually almost always ends in one day where I lose all of my portfolio. I end up in a similar scenario where I am chasing losses and depositing more money in.
I'm not sure if there is someone who looks like the prototypical gambler, but I certaintly don't fit the description if there is one. From the academics side, I've worked hard to graduate college early, gotten good grades, did internships most summers, and have a job lined up. I guess I'm saying this to cope with the fact that I really am a loser. See, I've always been extremely humble. Head down, and I don't tell people about anything really. Frequently, I actually downplay my successes and achievements for others. But, as I reflect on the short 3 years of ruining everything that I've built, I think my pride destroyed me. This was an extremely hard internal battle. Deep down, I was too arrogant to accept the fact that I wasn't going to become a pro day trader years ago. I was also too arrogant to accept the fact that I wasn't going to make back my losses sports betting.
What makes things twice as worse is that my (first gen) parents are so proud of me. They think I am the perfect child but don't know what i have been struggling with. I have a checking account that they can see, so they see all the big credit card payments I am making and are starting to get worried but I haven't told them this 3 years long struggle or what those payments are really for.
Right now, my credit card debt right now is extremely high, and i technically can't pay it off with the amount of money I have left. Fortunately, I have another internship starting soon, but I don't think I'll get my first paycheck before my cc statements are due. So, I really am at rock bottom right now.
One thing I try and tell myself is that I am young and can make it back. But, what is really hurting right now is the fact that my parents have seen all the hard work I have put in to make money and set myself up for a bright future, yet they have no clue that I am now in debt. I don't want to be a disappointment.
TL:DR I lost about 37k in the stock market, and about 15k sports betting. Turned 21 this month

Over the course of a week I was up $600 then down $640. I consider myself lucky to have only lost $40. $40 was the cost of this lesson I'm going to share with you.
The reality is that you don't know anything about this stock. It can go up, down, sideways, or in f*cking circles. To think anyone knows what they're talking about is simply arrogant. You cannot get rich quick. Any earnings will be dwarfed by your guaranteed future losses born from being naive and impatient. You must accept that you are gambling, and if that doesn't deter you from participating, best of luck to you in this failing slot machine that is FFIE.

It's been 45 days since I cut my losses and ceased my crypto gambling, after losing $60,000. I'll never forget the sleepless nights and having so much anxiety I couldn't stop coughing and hacking each morning - I physically could not bear it. The depression and vague suicidal thoughts. The feelings I squandered my life and hard-earned opportunity for a better financial life.
That was my third gambling cycle in as many years. Each time I've set up more safeguards to prevent a relapse. Hopefully this time I've done enough. It's tough because I have an addiction to securities gambling (stocks, crypto, etc), but it's almost impossible to completely disconnect entirely from that - as part of saving and investing.
Just for today, I won't gamble. I don't know if I could survive another time.

Hi all, I lost everything at the end of April, and have kept bankruptcy a secret from everyone, as I am still weighing all my options and determining my next course of action.
I live alone, have a good job, and am more or less an independent person. That being said, I see my parents constantly and the short story is I ultimately will need to tell them about my bankruptcy, as they will just naturally find out eventually because they are very involved in my life.
When I do tell my parents about this, I imagine they are going to lose their sh*t. As of now they think I am in a great financial situation. I think they honestly might try to take me to a psych ward or something similar, when I tell them my story (gambling everything I have + taking out loans for the stock market).
My biggest anxiety/dread in my bankruptcy situation has actually been telling my parents about this, not the BK situation itself.
I am just curious what others have experienced when you revealed the bankruptcy bombshell to family, spouse, parents, anyone else very close to you, etc?

I'm sure lots of y'all have done this for school.
Starting in June and ending in July, my class is holding a stock market simulator contest with $1,000,000 each, and I want to win. I know it's highly unlikely but I think I need about a 40% return to win. Now, I am a complete beginner, so I would like y'alls opinion on my plan.
Rules: $5 minimum stock price (was sad about this rule because I wanted to gamble on penny stocks lol), no short selling, each position can only take up max 10% of the portfolio, and obviously can't just hold cash.
So my plan is to buy a mix of ETFs and individually picked stocks. Maybe 70% ETFs and 30% stocks but I'm still deciding on the perfect ratio. I want to buy leveraged ETFs (go big or go home) like TQQQ, SOXL, and NVDL. What other ETFs should I buy that will maximize gains over the next two months? And what stocks do you think will shoot up in the next two months?
