I am a 22 year old guy, good looking 7-8. I'm fit but rather skinny I am intellectually gifted. When I was a kid and in my early teens I was a very weird and disconnected guy. I was generally treated poorly which ended up shaping the rest of my life at this point when it comes to responsibility and self-development. I fell behind my peers socially and in pretty much everything else. I spent a few years fixing a lot of my flaws and learning to be human like I was supposed to. By now I have achieved a lot of great milestones becoming higher quality but there are still things I haven't been able to achieve. I will probably never be able to fit in with the general norm, I want to, but it doesn't seem like it is reasonably possible anymore. I am still a virgin, I've had multiple girls in the past that I have been interested in but I either lost to someone else or fumbled the bag. I am also not very interested in a relationship until I want to spend energy on one. Yet I still have high standards because I know I've got qualities that can pull from experience. So I have little to no experience and I haven't had sex. The point I am at when it comes to acting on taking someone home or having a good time is so far behind that I am on level with teenagers entering the space, to catch up I would have to hang around those and start at the same point but obviously I can't. I would probably be described as quirky, which I absolutely hate and it feels like a part of me that I cannot lose. I am so starved for love that it is finally starting to impact my mental health. I genuinely feel that my dating experience is completely doomed and that I have to continue living on lies about it. I have come to dislike the general public because of intellectual gap and the way that the world is shaped to be against me at so many turns. I am just tired of having to keep this to myself when it has such a prevalent impact on me. If anyone would be up to argue about anything on this post I'd be happy to.

2024.05.19 21:19 2015_08_23 Issues with Veracrypt 1.26.7

I downloaded and installed the GUI x64 version of Veracrypt 1.26.7 via the Linux Generic Installers on their webpage. Installation was fine, although I did get the notice in the screenshot below which may be related to the issue I am having. Veracrypt loads without issue, but when I attempt to decrypt/mount an encrypted volume I get an error message and the application crashes.
As a temporary remedy I uninstalled version 1.26.7, reinstalled the previous version 1.25.9 and everything works fine now.I am wondering if anyone has experienced this, and if anyone has any thoughts on what the issue may be and a possible solution. Thanks!

(Writing on mobile, apologize for any errors)
We lived in a home for 2 years, took pictures of all the things that were an issue when we moved in as well as filled it in on the moving inspection.
Landlord deducted 1400 from our 2600 security deposit. Of which about 250 was legitimate (charged $500 to clean an oven that my cleaners missed and had barely been used dirty scale 1.5 on 1-10), but many things were insanely inflated charges, work wasn’t performed, or was the state of the home when we moved in.
Went to small claims court. The hearing officer was not in any mood to help, she wanted us out of her courtroom and tried to rush us out as fast as possible. We had 13 different items that we had been fraudulently charged for, but she only wanted to hear one and be done with it.
Claimed they had to pay a third party vendor over $3000 for work done. They claim the vendor is a licensed, bonded, insured contractor.
Ignored the items on the move in inspection because she felt over the course of two years we would have fixed those items. She also took the invoice as gospel even though we pointed out:
  1. Numerous items on the invoice had not been fixed, proving it was fraudulent (when I stated they were committing fraud with the invoice the hearing officer, stopped me and rapid fire asked how I knew it was fraud, so I know all the steps for proving fraud, if not don’t come in here telling something is fraud when I don’t know what fraud is. Overall just combative the whole hearing)
  2. I had spoken with the new tenant and had text messages from them stating they had not been fixed when they had been living there for a month after the invoices claimed the work was done
  3. I had dated photos from the property after they moved in showing it had not been fixed
Problem is: the contractor is the same person that comes out for all their work. The contractor always wears the company’s branded clothing when he comes. The contractor is the same person that performed the move out inspection claiming the issues. But they claim he isn’t an employee even though he only works for them. (He’s most likely 1099 and a separate entity SPECIFICALLY to make it appear they aren’t profiting from security deposit deductions)
Upon further investigation I found that the contractor isn’t even licensed in the state (Arizona) so they cannot perform work over $3,000.
Additionally the cleaning company said that the invoice that the property manager supplied was not one of theirs and they had not done work for that amount.
What should I do about this? There is not an option for an appeal in small claims court in Arizona, and I don’t think they would handle fraud like this anyway.

Black Absorption/Extra Hearts & Constant XP Sound Bug
I'm currently in the process of putting together a custom modpack on Curseforge (using Fabric Loader), and I've been troubleshooting a bunch of stuff and fixing up some bugs. A few of these bugs though, I can't seem to figure out the cause of, one of them being my extra hearts showing up as black on the health bar, as well as another bug that seems to play the xp/experience level up sound every few seconds when placing/breaking/picking up blocks, and other interactions with the inventory. Would anyone be able to give their two-sense on what could be causing these issues? I'm on version 1.20.1 and using Fabric loader version 0.15.11. 2024.05.19 21:15 hi117 Permission denied when adding an osd from inside a docker container

I'm running ceph-volume from inside a docker container to try and add an osd and I'm running into a weird permission denied issue.
I'm running the docker container like this:
docker run --privileged --network=host -it -v /etc/ceph:/etc/ceph -v /valib/ceph:/valib/ceph -v /dev:/dev quay.io/ceph/ceph:v17.2.7 bash
Then, from inside the docker container I run ceph-volume like this:
ceph-volume lvm create --dmcrypt --no-systemd --bluestore --data ceph-block-1/block-1 --block.db ceph-db-1/db-0
ceph-volume runs into an error between getting the monmap and running --mkfs:

I initially run the ceph-volume command as root inside the docker container. I don't understand how this might cause an issue though since when I run mon getmap outside of ceph-volume it creates the file with perms 644, so even if --mkfs is running as a weird user, it should still be able to read activate.monmap. I also checked directory permissions. It could also be some docker related thing happening. Any help/pointers would be appreciated.

2024.05.19 21:12 mrhistory5 Massive frame drop when moving

Since about 3.21 I've been having massive frame drops whenever I move. I get 30-40 fps after standing still for a while but as soon as I move it drops to >1 fps. After being unable to fix it during 3.21 I uninstalled figuring I would try again the next major update.

It's still happening during 3.23 but not as severe, I can move around in the same room with decent fps but going to another room tanks it. I can't ride the tram as the fps is too low to get off and it eventually crashes to desktop. the game does work fine in Arena Commander though.

before 3.21 I was getting anywhere from 20 - 60 fps depending on where I was and what it was doing but it was very playable. I also know other people with similarly powered computers that aren't having this problem.

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
RAM: 16 GB (I know more RAM is recommended but I don't think this is the current issue as I know other people with 16 GB RAM getting better performance)
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT
OS: Windows 10

It shows unarc.dll error 12 at different times. Some times it shows when unpacking level 7, when I cancel and try again it some times shows when unpacking level 2, etc. And when it doesn’t show this error, it just gets stuck and doesn’t proceed at all. I tried installing in safe mode but it still gets stuck. My Internet connection in not great, it took me over 20 hours downloading this 90 gb game. I am very sad.....

2024.05.19 21:00 Soulboundpt I'm losing the battle against my pc

Hey guys, this is my pc:
As of last month I've been getting stutters in some games, it started with pubg andI played it off as some patch that messed things up and didn't pay too much attention to it. As days and weeks went by it got progressively worse, not dropping more frames but more frequently. I run the game at 1080p very low settings, cap 160 fps, and interesting enough the stutter would always get my fps to 152/153(consistent). I played warframe and it ran like a dream, mid april.
Time passes.
As a pubg enjoyer today I decided to really try to find the fix for the issue and I could not find it. I have windows 10 and 11, dual boot, the issue persists in both OS. I've been playing Tsushima for the last few days and performance has been great, booted it just to check the frametime graph and it's really good. Warframe on the other hand left me fuming. Everytime I start a mission, land, press E to attack with the sword the game stutters, without fail, 100% of the time, doesn't matter the res, the settings, the display or the drivers, I've tried them all. If I cap to 160fps I get 124fps stutter, cap 50fps stutter is 39fps(consistent 22% drop?).. I installed it on my windows 11 and it behaves the same! lmao , what setting in the bios or something can cause something like this?
I just expected every demanding game to stutter if it was the hardware. Other games with some stutters are Scum and Helldivers
Things I remember to have done and tried:
I don't really know what more I can do, the system worked great before in all of these titles mentioned, now it's just demoralizing and frustrating, pls help

Hey yall. I’ve been on Kalshi for about two years now but have only now tried to withdraw any funds. Whenever I try to withdraw, I get hit with an error. Specifically, “the withdraw failed. Something went wrong. We suggest you try again.” I have been trying for days now and i still get the same error. I just tried linking a new bank account to withdraw to, but now after entering all my bank information the app tells me “something went wrong. We could not add your bank account. Please try again”.
Has anyone had this same issue? Anyone have ideas how to fix it? I’ve emailed Kalshi support but gotten no response.

Hello guys, I just downloaded my first game with DPI and I got some questions.
First, do I need to have enough storage on my pc for a game to download it in my PS4 ? I'm using DPI because I dont have an USB nor a hard drive.
For exemple, If i want to download rdr2 which is like 79go and my pc only have 50go, will It be possible to download it via DPI si I dont have to download the game in my pc first ?
Also, do I need to be connected to internet to download stuff from DPI ? I just watched a tutorial of a Guy who did It without internet on but when I tried It, I got an error saying something like "the PS4 from (IP) don't have goldhen or remote package installer". And I dont know if It's normal but It took me 7 hours to download a 8Go game with the game being stuck in "Calculating..." state
And finally, do I need to have my pc turn on while I'm downloading game ? Or once the package is sent to my PS4, I can turn off my pc ?

Hello! My electricity contract expires on 5/30, and it completely slipped my mind that the price changes regularly. I got another renewal reminder email from my current provider (Champion Energy) this week and just looked at the new rates - they are significantly higher than what I'm paying today.
My current plan (Champ Saver for 12 months) rate is 7.3¢/kWh, and the new rate for this plan seems to be 17.8¢ per kWh, which is more than double. The breakdown for the new rate is Energy charge: 13.0¢ per kWh and Oncor delivery charge: 4.5403¢ per kWh. Now I don't recall whether my current ongoing plan includes the delivery charge already (or it's additional), but it's still a large rate increase.

After trying every suggestion I could find in this sub & the wiki, I still can't get this to work at all. I'm hoping someone out there has experienced the same issue, and may be able to advise on how they solved it.
My AMS has worked completely fine up until a couple weeks ago. In fact, it still works totally fine if I load a spool and print from one material/spool. Whenever it needs to unload, I get the error. I have replaced the nozzle, replaced the extruder, replaced the PTFE tube from hot end to enclosure. I have printed and attached the "Bambu X1 PTFE Extruder Bracket AMS Error Fix" model: https://www.printables.com/model/338073-bambu-x1-ptfe-extruder-bracket-ams-error-fix
None of these have even helped once, let alone actually resolved the issue. The only way I can get it to unload is if I manually tap unload and then wiggle the PTFE tube while it's trying to retract the filament. There's no rhyme or reason pertaining to where I'm holding the tube when it successfully pulls the filament back. Sometime it's straight up, other times it's at an angle.

It also only works like 1/10 times when I'm attempting this process. When it does work, everything unloads perfectly, as intended. This is happening on all slots of the AMS. I was kind of hoping it would just be one... which would narrow down troubleshooting the AMS slot itself - but, this isn't the case. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated, as I'm out of ideas!
