Lettuce and tomato from off the chicken salad sandwich. Chic-fil-a sauce wasn’t around yet, only the Honey Roasted BBQ as this was 19 years ago.
(My variations included adding honey in between two breast patties and pour some cole slaw mayo runoff on it too).
Backstory: This is in 2005 and I’m one of the few dudes working lunch shift. This twiggy looking, weird personality homeschool chick was going on and on, and on and on about how men and women should be treated as equals. Then it came time to take the trash out and she was magically unequal and I was like nah trick, you got this because we are equal. (She didn’t like that). Neither did the other lady coworkers for some reason. They also wanted me to pressure wash the little concrete drive through area (summertime). I was like men and women are equal, make her do it. -They didn’t like that either. I made a rebellious lunch that ended up being the deluxe sandwich of today. I didn’t ring it in yet and got written up for eating without paying.
I had a talk with the owner and Manager and wasn’t really pleased with their siding of the issue bc I know they were really just starting a paper trail bc of me stirring the pot. I respectfully quit and went about my happy life.
6 months later I’m in the drive through and it’s on the menu. I deduced the manager and the experimental marketing team he was working with ran with it. I can never prove this though. Haha whatever. Maybe they will read this and run a coleslaw special. 😋😎🤓🐓🐄
For the record this time… I’d name it the throwback.

 | Title says it all. Woke up this morning with a headache and a queasy stomach. Nothing 2 tylenols couldn't fix. Laid in bed until about 1pm, got up and chilled around the house finally feeling fine. My stomach immediately told me after 2 bites I couldn't finish it. I got up from the table because I started feeling a little panic-y so I went to the bathroom and noticed my heart rate beginning to increase. Trying to do deep breathing exercises, I started feeling more loopy/lightheaded so I went to my car to think maybe it was my PTSD and I was overwhelmed. Nope it got worse to where my gf had to drive. We planned on hurrying back to my house which was 30 mins away to get my hydroxyzine but everything began getting worse as I was driving so we decided to go to a nearby Urgent Care ER. What I was experiencing: Increased heart rate upwards of 145 bpm, dry mouth, hands and feet tingling, nauseous/faint, panicking to where I dialed 911 saying I need help to my gf... but my gf hung up quick enough for it to connect and we decided to go to a nearby hospital. Luckily, no chest pains. But everything just felt out of my control. Got there, front desk lady immediately asks if I'm normally pale in the face - my response was "Hell no!" I get to the room and laid in the bed. Vitals came back really elevated as everything was still going on. High blood pressure, high heart rate, excellent oxygen level, cold feet, nausea, slight confusion, fast breathing, etc. After asking additional questions like if I've taken anything today, smoked, vaped, drank alcohol, etc. They then grabbed an EKG machine to check everything out with my heart. After that was done, they came in and gave me a 1mg injection of Ativan and zofran for the nausea. Within 20 minutes, everything started slowing down but still felt panicky. My stomach started aching like hunger pains.. felt nauseas, etc. They came back in and said my EKG showed 98 bpm and was clear. After about an hour, they checked vitals and everything came back down.. BP was 120/80, HR was raining between 90-105, oxygen at 100, and I just started feeling the ability to breathe normally. Now I'm home. They prescribed me (10) .5mg Xanax as needed and told me to work with my PCP which I see Monday. Kind of still feel a little loopy but they said it could be from the Ativan. What a night. 😰 |

 | Area of M-59 and Schoenherr in Utica/Shelby Township area of Michigan. Has been a problem area for a couple years now, and still not good. Never used to be an issue until T-Mobile blew up. Have reported the area multiple times over the past 2 years for issues and hasn’t been resolved. submitted by _alex87 to cellmapper [link] [comments] It’s like just this giant square of a weird congested coverage zone that just doesn’t work. Surrounding sites are power-lines and don’t think the ones around this area are upgraded… so only B2/66. Other monopoles nearby have full upgrades and work great, but seems like the phone just latches onto these and that’s it. Effects service by Sam’s Club, BestBuy, Chick Fil A, etc. Also service down the street inside Costco also sucks. Roams onto an old Sprint monopole right outside of the building that still haven’t been converted (but is live)… horrible experience. iMessage’s won’t even go through inside Costco even with full bars. Couldn’t even get a Speedtest to load today outside of Best Buy. This is probably the only area I have general complaints with T-Mobile… Go down the road by Hayes and data seems to work stellar. So weird. Could use some small cells if they cannot get these powerline sites upgraded… Verizon has tons here. |

I tried to go a little more laid back/I'm a high-school student style. Not overly serious and good in customer service/group settings.
My step-dad works in a more specialized space as an actuary and so I feel like he went overboard with the technical terms and trying to oversell me.
Neither version feels quite correct, I want to use material from both to polish but keep the laid back feel, unless you guys agree with the 2nd version! Any thoughts?

So I guess I have an ED history. I've restricted, binged, purged, whatever. Nothing major but enough to cause a few breakdowns.
And I've been doing really okay recently, but I've also been diagnosed with PCOS. So I'm trying to lose weight. And I did, healthily, just a little. But then I stopped. And I've felt super out of control about food and eating and today I had some fries from chick fil a and I felt so guilty. So I came home, tried to call a friend for support but he didn't answer. So I did it. I purged it. And I feel really bad.
Sorry for venting. I just had to tell someone, or at least type it out.

Delta positions itself as a premium airline, but its fortress hub is not a premium airport, despite being the "world's busiest."
Staff are rude and disgruntled. TSA agents yell and scream. CBP agents are inefficient. Airport employees are disinterested in customer service -- I had a woman at arrivals just sigh, roll her eyes, and gesture when I politely asked where the ride-hailing pick-ups were located.
The airport is filthy. After a recent flight, I stepped in mystery goo that took days to remove from the bottom of my shoes. Many gate areas are covered in litter and trash. Bathrooms aren't clean.
The HVAC doesn't work well. If you walk down the "renovated" underground passageways, some are very hot and some are freezing cold, as if the HVAC was poorly engineered.
There is no (rail) public transport to the international terminal and the bus shuttle is awful. It is infrequent, crowded, and the drivers even have the gall to solicit tips by stacking bags in front of the doors as you exist. In summer, you have to wait outside for 20+ minutes in oppressive heat and humidity.
At night and in the morning, there is a significant unhoused population that occupies the airport. Homelessness is a national crisis, but the airport is not a humane place for Atlanta to offload those struggling without shelter.
Concessions are overpriced and low quality with the possible exception of Chick-fil-a.
I don't understand why Delta doesn't get aggressive with Atlanta -- who owns and manages the airport -- about the conditions there. The airport is substandard -- and not just compared to European and East Asian airports, but compared to Latin American airports.

ETSing and moving, finding a new job, working the civilian life, new city new state etc. and that shit get away from you fast. I think I’ve caught it early and I only gained about 10-15lbs but holy shit, I started the gym back this week doing what I did on a light week in active and I feel like it’s the first week of basic training again 😂😂😂
Also moving somewhere that has chick fil a … god damn that Jesus chicken is so good 😭..
Figured some of you other vets could relate or would get a laugh out of it. But also, let’s take care of ourselves for our own sake but also our spouses, kids, and basic enjoyment of life.

J'aimerais déjà vous partager les voies que j'ai exploré sans succès. Je ne sais pas à quel point j'ai mal ou sous exploité ces différentes approches :
- Les applications de rencontre : J'ai testé Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, Fruitz,... Avec une participation payante sur Tinder. Mon profil ne marche pas et le peu de matchs que j'ai eu ne se sont pas soldés par un date. J'ai cependant eu l'occasion de tester un profil purement orienté meme qui a généré pas mal de succès en termes de matchs mais aucun date à l'horizon malgré de bonne discussions. Je me demande si certaines applications valent le coup de mettre un peu de sa poche pour espérer plus de rencontres ?
- Les bars (en général) : je passe une bonne partie de mon temps au bar avec mes potes et il m'est arrivé plusieurs fois de faire des rencontres (majoritairement avec des mecs) mais dans tout les cas j'ai jamais gardé contact. Quel type d'approche peut marcher ?
- Les soirées échange linguistique : en général je fait ça dans des bars et l'ambiance est à la rencontre mais garder contact est compliqué aussi (moins que dans un bar random, vu qu'on est plus à même de revoir les gens au fil des soirées).
- Les événements jeux de société : j'ai testé deux formats, au bar et dans un local d'une association. Les gens reviennent fréquemment mais la sociabilisation se fait quasi essentiellement à travers le jeu et pas vraiment plus loin. J'ai rencontré une quinzaine de personnes avec qui j'ai passé une bonne partie/soirée mais en dehors des jeux chacun va de son côté. Dur de construire une amitié alors une relation amoureuse/séduction, j'ai encore plus de mal.
- Activités extra-professionnelles : je fait depuis 2 ans du théâtre d'impro et du théâtre de texte où j'ai rencontré du monde mais malgré le travail qu'on fait ensemble tout au long de l'année et la bonne ambiance qui règne pendant les cours, les relations se cantonnent aux cours.
- Speed dating : J'ai testé une seule fois via lespeeddating.com, la date de l'évent a été décalée 4 fois en raison du manque de participants, et une fois l'évent fait, les femmes avaient l'air d'être venues entre copines histoire de s'amuser à découvrir le concept plutôt que de réellement être investie dans le speed dating. Est-ce comme ça tout le temps ou est-ce que ça peut être envisageable de recommencer ?
- Dîners entre inconnus : J'ai testé 2 fois via Timeleft, le concept a du potentiel et est cool et je découvre des restos, mais les gens dégagent quand même plus une envie de se faire des amis que des rencontres amoureuses. Encore une fois peut-être que je me trompe et qu'il faudrait réessayer plusieurs fois ?
- Coaching en séduction : j'ai essayé un début de programme d'un "Coach en drague de rue" un peu par hasard et ça avait l'air de porter certains fruits mais certains exercices étaient beaucoup trop durs pour moi (je suis vraiment pas à l'aise dans la drague de rue) et j'ai préféré abandonner. Est-ce que une expérience de coaching vous a vraiment aidé pour vous améliorer en séduction ?
- Festivals : Je fait souvent des rencontres brèves mais très sympa en festival (interactions de bourrés, échange de compliments, discussion dans la file de la buvette,...). Y'aurait-il quelque chose à exploiter ici ? Peut-être y aller déguisé pour se faire encore plus remarquer ?
- Agence matrimoniale : est-ce que c'est viable pour mon âge ? Est-ce que y'a pas un risque de rencontrer des personnes beaucoup trop différentes de moi ?
- Autres types d'activités (sport en groupe, réseautage professionnel, bénévolat,...) : mais le problème est le meme que pour d'autres activités, comment rencontrer des femmes célibataires attentives à trouver un partenaire amoureux ?

took my 1mg shot on thursday. last night (friday), i had chick-fil-a nuggets and fries for dinner (NOT going to repeat this, but just wanted to mention what i ate) and this morning (saturday) i woke up with the worst stomach cramps i’ve ever had. i had to rush to the bathroom, and the chick-fil-a exited my body as fast as it could. i have never vomited while having diarrhea before, save for last week and today. is this just my body fighting me because i ate like shit and my body couldn’t process it? or is this an extreme side effect that i need to worry about? has anyone else had this happen, or something similar?
