I know this is a big ask and it’s a long shot but if you want to hear my story, I appreciate it. I was a manager in training at Red Lobster in Lakewood, CO for the past 6 months. Two days before I was to be promoted, they shut down my store along with 108 others across the country. I had been with them for 9 years and I’ve been scrambling to figure out what to do, but rent is here and I don’t know what to do. I am driving for Lyft as much as I can and I was just hired at another serving job so cash will be plenty once I’m able to start. This would help me bridge the gap between these two jobs. Hi All
I want some clarity about 2 things.

1. How does the couch co-op work. Is it like I buy one copy of the game on ps store and can do local co-op if I have two controllers or will it require 2 seperate purchases of d4 and seperate consoles.
   
2. I generally play 3D games. The only 2.5D games I've played recently are xcom2 and Disco Elysium. What will be my biggest hurdle getting into the game?

I'm new here, so feel free to tell me if I'm missing anything, but thought I'd share some analysis I did regarding Marstoy shipping prices.
I checked out 4 larger sets that I'm interested in, found them on AliExpress at their cheapest price point, and compared with Marstoy shipping individually, as well as all together.
Findings:

• Marstoy shipping ranges between 35-70% of the base price, averaging around 55% It appears large sets are all around $39 to ship individually.
• Shipping the 4 sets together saves about 25% on shipping, or costs about 13% less than buying them individually.
• AliExpress "No Name" stores would save ~16% compared to Marstoy.

FAQs on Marstoy don't include any information about warranty, I imagine it is similar to AE where you can tell the seller what you are missing and hope for the best, and as far as I can tell, Marstoy is a reseller so I assume the quality varies (although maybe not as much as AE).
I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

Thanks to the anniversary and its freebies, there's an influx of beginners this month, so this is a post to help them. If you're a veteran, please, feel free to add to this. If you're a beginner, please, feel free to ask anything not mentioned below.
Recommended Daily Routine:

• Buy free Coolant (S) from Shop ->Supply Zone, Buy any item that doesn't cost shifted stars from Shop ->Trading Zone ->Daily Purchase. If all items cost shifted stars, buy from Limited Specials (daily mission).
• Go to Battle ->Sigils ->Spirit Capture and do a run (battle-pass mission/important upgrade item farming)
• Go to Battle ->Sigils ->Joint Training, do any S grade stage you find at x4 Loot (160 swigs). You can refresh twice for free per day, never spend shifted stars to refresh. In case there isn't S grade stage, do A or B grade with Loot at x1 (important upgrade item farming).
• Go to Battle ->Supplies and do any stage at Loot x1. Lost Vestiges recommended (daily mission).
• Go to Guild. Get Matrix Supplies if available, do Joint Attack 3 times. If all stages are at 100%, do just once to catch daily reward. If it's during a weekend, attack boss once.
• If event farming stage is available (Ex: Karasugo Strange Tales), clear a stage with Loot at x4 (120 swigs) at least once per day. Recommended to spend the rest of your extra stamina (swigs) at this stage.

*This should clear all dailies and help preparing your resource stack for the future.
Recommended Weekly Activities:

• Go to Battle -> Challenges -> Dimensional Variable and do at least one full run at any difficulty (battle-pass mission/weekly mission).
• On Thursdays, Fridays and Weekends: Got to Battle ->Challenges ->Recurring Dream and clear any available stage at any difficulty to get as much point rewards as possible. Resets on Thursdays (weekly missions/battle-pass mission).
• Go to Hazard Zone Cleaning and clear any stage at any difficulty. Resets on Mondays and Fridays (weekly missions/battle-pass mission).
• Go to Guild ->Matrix Shop and buy everything you can afford, except for Battle Record T1, Revelation T1 and Divine Factor. Priority to buy Sigil Module T3 and Sigil Core.
• Go to Shop ->Trading Zone ->Sigil Shop and buy any 3* sigil 3x. Not necessary if already bought 5* sigils on that week to build units (Guild Mission).

Other Tips and Recommendations:

• Sigils: It's okey to use low rarity sigils at the very beginning, just avoid upgrading them. You can easily farm for 5* sigils very early, so only invest on those. You can sell 3 of any 5* sigils and use the currency to buy any specific 5* sigil you need. When building units, pay attention to the placement of sigils, that does matter a lot, since their placement gives you different passive skills.
• Events: Those not only give you shifted stars and upgrade resources, but also contribute to your battle-pass missions, so do as many as possible.
• Battle-Pass (Cooperation Agreement) gives 2 kinds of currency: Tian Lu Card and Tian Lu VIP Card. You use those on Shop ->Trading Zone-> Trading Center ->Co-Op Shop. I recommend 3 very important items that can't be easily farmed: 1- 5* signature functors for A.rank units (takes around 3 months to buy one as f2p, and 1 month for those who bought the premium battle-pass). 2- Operation Record (used to further upgrade old S.rank units). 3- Transcendence Crystal (used to limit-break 5* functors). Feel free to spend the Tian Lu blue card in any way needed.
• Recommended Modifiers (characters): Izanami (best DPS), Jinwu (2nd best DPS), Untainted Heart Lingguang (best buffesupport) Phantasmal Dawn Hera (2nd best buffer), Kuramitsuha (best support for Izanami).
• Recommended Future Modifiers: Thoth (currently best DPS in CN), Sekhmet (best support for Thoth).
• Modifiers (Scan): There are 2 kinds of banners to pull for characters (Modifiers) Anchored (Precise) Scan, Precise Scan and Regular Modifier Scan. New limited S.rank characters will be available on both Anchored Scan and Precise Scan. Re-runs for limited units will only be available as Precise Scans. Each of those banners have their own separated pity. Statistically speaking, one is more likely to spend less shifted stars in the long run by pulling only on Anchored Scan. You're always guaranteed to pull for the rate-up character after pulling 90 times. Precise Scan, on the other hand, is guaranteed to give you a random S.rank after 70 pulls, with 50% chance to be the rate-up unit. If getting an off-banner character, the next S.rank is guaranteed to be the rate-up unit. HOWEVER! This same rule 'does not apply' for the Archored Scan, in which any time you get a S.rank before the 90th pull, there will always be a 50% chance of being the rate-up character. Regular Scans will only have regular S.rank units and follow the same pity rules as Precise Scans. Each banner has its merits: Anchored Scan is for those who saved up and calculated their shifted stars beforehand and have enough pulls to guarantee a targeted S.rank, while Precise Scan is for those who're feeling lucky or have shifted stars to spare.
• Functors: Those are little .jpgs that give new abilities when equiped to a character. There are 3*, 4*, and 5* rarity, with one 3* functor for each faction, two 4* functors per faction, and one 5* regular functor per faction. Every character has a signature 5* functor that gives specific abilities for them, changing their skill effects, giving them more buffs, or even completely replacing one or more of their skills for new and better ones. You can buy regular 5* functors by going to Shop ->Trading Zone ->Resource Shop -> Dimensional Variable. You get the currency to buy those by playing the Dimensional Variable mode. While not as strong as signature functors, those 5* functors can also be very strong and are used even by veterans. Signature functors for A.ranks can also be obtained on the Co-Op shop, but sig functors for S.ranks can only be obtained from the gacha (in the future, some will be available from the battle-pass).
• Scan (functors): There are no limited banners for Functors. You pull a sort of "selector" for a specific factions, called "Unawakened". You can redeem Unawakened functors for any signature functor belonging to the faction of that Unawakened. Ex: If you pulled a Shikigami Unawakened (Shinou), you can trade it for the sig functor of any Shinou unit currently playable in the game. Unawakened Functors never expire and their selection options will be updated accordingly to any new unit/functor released. Therefore, even if you obtained an Unawakened functor long ago, you will still be able to trade it for a newly released 5* sig functor, as long as it is of the corresponding faction. It's not recommended to use Unawakened to get sig functors for A.rank units, since you can directly buy most of those from the Co-Op shop for free.
• Free S.rank units: Aside from the S.rank selector given in the anniversary, there are 2 additional S.rank units that can be obtained for free with no time-limit attached to them: Arctic Abyss Poseidon and Jin-ei Kuninotokotachi. Both are very decent DPS units. S.Poseidon specialises on crowd control, while Kuninotokotachi is more of a jack-of-all-trades, with melee attacks, crowd control and Dot-dmg. They will be of great help clearing most of the initial-to-mid-game content. Nowadays, they are not the strongest, but not useless by any means, thanks to new Ultimate Skill Chains, new sigils and new upgrades (access key synergy). S.Poseidon is obtainable at any time by going to Battle ->Challenge ->Past Grudges and then completing the 6th cycle. Kuninotokotachi can be bought from the Recurring Dream Shop with Morpheum Crystals. It will take a few weeks to redeem her.

Recommended top-up items:

• The Premium Battle-Pass (Cooperation Agreement) in Aether Gazer gives a pretty good value for your buck. Giving a 5* sig functor for certain A.rank units, a regular 5* functor selector (not signature), item to upgrade 5* functors, 1k shifted stars, 6 precise scan vouchers and a lot of upgrade resources. First time buying this item will give you a skin for A.rank Leviathan.
• C-Obs (monthly pass), gives a total of 2700 shifted stars + 300 Shifting Flowers (paid currency), for only $5 USD. The first time you buy this monthly pass, you will get a S.rank Selector that can be redeemed for Kuninotokotachi, Okuninushi, Asura, AblaZe Tyr, Arctic Abyss Poseidon or Ryugiri Kagutsuchi. After signing in for 25 days, you also get a functor selector that can be redeemed for the sig functor of any of those units just mentioned.

Hey guys just for a little background information I've been in a few relationships but none as long as this one. I was truly in love with her. So for some background information my gf is 22/f foreigner and I'm a 23/m American as we first met in our abroad school overseas and after 6 months of dating came to the states together to finish school. We dated now for 2 years and broke up about 1 month ago due to her feeling suffocated and now she is going back to her home country next week and coming back when the school semester starts again. Now for information about the breakup me and my girlfriend had some pretty nasty arguments in the last month of our relationship.
In the beginning of our relationship we both agreed to having no girl or guy friends due to an incident where her guy friend came onto her in the beginning of the relationship after drinking together.
Now fast forward to the month of our breakup while I graduated and am working a full-time job she said she made new friends in school that would help her go from class to class in their car "audi" and eat a few meals together. I said great and jokingly said that they aren't guy friends and she said straight to my face that you can check my phone and instagram that they are girls and I believed her because she was being so straight forward. After about a week past I was having weird dreams and a weird gut feeling so while I was at work I checked her instagram and saw they they were definitely not girls but 2 guys that were also well off and rich. The reason I added that information was because during the time that she leid to me she was joking around saying how if she got close with them than maybe they could buy her some new things. Now since I had definite proof of her lying I confronted her after work on the basis of going on a date and asked her 3 times whether she has something to tell me and if they are really girls. She lied all three times straight to my face. As a result, I exploded and got super angry showing her the photos and telling her to leave my car and that were done because all she kept saying was she felt like it wasn't that big of a problem. So she left and came back apologized and said she would do anything in order to make things right.
Now the next day we had a camping trip planned with me, her, and two of her friends. Although, I said I did forgive her I was in a terrible mood the whole day whereas she acted like nothing happened and tried to make me feel better that day which I really didn't accept. So we argued that day too about me making her uncomfortable in front of her friends which I apologized for. But now we went on as nothing happened for a week and not we call one night and I tell her since I thought this was what we was talking about but I said that "yeah when I was working that parttime job 6 months back I took that girl co-worker home because my manger told me to. Now she started comparing the two and said she didn't do anything wrong and that me digging through her instagram and looking through all of her stuff she felt suffocated. So we made up with the decision that I made to delete my instagram.
Now fast forward to the week of the breakup she made new friends in school which I 100% new this time were girls and she said she would go drinking with them which I was perfectly fine with. The next day we had lunch together and told me she would go to the market the next day with her friends. Now that day is when we broke up. After I finished work she called and said she met her friends and that they drove her to a restraunt to eat food which I was fine with. And then I go to workout and after I finish I get more messages saying how she is going to go drinking with her new friends at their house. Now the reason I got mad was because I dont understand how she can go to the market with her friends if they drink and also she didn't tell me who specifically and where and also she had tutoring that night so I couldn't understand why she would drink. Anyways I was being nice and said have fun and lets talk on the phone later that night so we don't argue over message. She texts me 3 hours later when she gets home and starts tutoring while I was waiting for her call. Now this is when I broke down and new the relationship was crumbling. I messaged her saying Im tired and what to spend the night with her and she calls me after her tutoring asking if im ok. Once I tell her im already driving to her place and I want to spend the night with her. She gets angry asking if im angry or anxious still and that she feels suffocated and she broke up with me.
I pleaded but we still broke up in the end and one week later of nc I asked her if we can talk and she agreed but this is when shit went really upside down. That day I told my friends about the good news but they tell me that my girlfriend told them months ago that she would secretly go clubbing and that her mom doesn't like me and that once she finds someone better she will leave me right away. No I went mentally haywire and asked her if she did any of these things where if she did or didn't she said there isn't a reason to talk or meet anymore and to hang out with the liar friends of mine. Since then until last week I had many ups and downs, I begged and pleaded and apologized but also got angry but now obviously and rightfully im blocked on everything and we have been in nc now for 2 weeks. She is going back to her home country in a week and I wrote a letter about my how much I love and miss her and the things I loved about her and how I am sad but will let her go but will wait while fixing the things I need to fix and get better for not only you but myself. I already gave that letter to her friend and told her to give it to her after her testing is over for her grad school right before she goes to korea.
Do you guys think it is salvegable? I really love her and want to fix things but also im blocked on everything and she is going back overseas for about 2-3 months. Should I really wait?
Edit: ive been going to therapy, working out everyday, got some really good interviews set up for new jobs, and thinking about a lot if the past where we both really have faults and how I pished her to the edge of feeling suffocated and pushed her to lying although she still lied. I am sorry for the jealousy, anxiousness, and how immature I was in the relationship towards her and my own boundaries.

Hello everyone, looking for financial advice on a sorta tough decision. My 2005 Dodge Stratus SXT I feel is nearing the end of its life. I bought it for $1,500 back in highschool over a year ago now. I know it wasn’t the best car but I needed it and it got me very far. The person before me did not do the best with maintaining the car, it does have over 202,000k miles on it and still runs. I needs two new rims, two new tires(I bent them and scratched the tires), a new left drivers side CV axel, two rear end struts/shocks, the ac squeaks but works, an alignment, it stalled the other week and since then has had a knocking noise under the hood.
I tried to get a quote to get it fixed but the dealership that checked my car still hasn’t gotten a quote for me so I looked up the car parts myself and I’m looking at over possibly 2k in fixing it. My bf and his family can help fix it so I wont have the dealership do most of the work. The problem is I know how this type of car and brand can be and I do no want to fix it just for it to give out on me. I also don’t want it to stop running on me randomly as it’s my own way of transportation right now.
I make over $2,400(it varies since I am a waitress but I plan to save anything extra since last time I did not save enough to fix my current car within a timely matter, you live and learn) a month and my main concern is I know since I an young my insurance will skyrocket. I am looking to finance a used Toyota or Honda. I have a co-signer and I want to sell my current car and use it for part of the down payment.
My question is does it make sense to buy a new car or should I just fix this one? I could just sell this one and buy a new car from FB like I did with this one but I need something reliable and where I wont have to keep car hopping. Any suggestions?
Btw I live in the South. Public transportation is not really and option and in the city I live in biking is very dangerous. I just saw a guy get hit yesterday near where I work.
Btw I have noticed a fishy smell when the air conditioner is on. I am pretty positive the person who owned the car before me smoked cigarettes since there are a few burns on the top left interior of the car. Also the car has a hard time accelerating now. It did not have that issue before.

Credit Card Dispute (Birthday Cake Nightmare)
Hi all, I have been banking with CO (Capital One) for almost 14 years. My credit score is great and I have an outstanding history with CO. I have never had any need to file a dispute with CO until yesterday.
My daughter’s birthday was yesterday, and I got in touch with a local baker 2 months ago to try and order a custom birthday cake for her. I was very clear from the beginning about the design, colors, and theme of the party. I asked the baker several times if they could create a design that I had picked from Instagram which fit what we were looking for. The baker’s assistant assured me that they could create the exact cake we wanted, which was a 2-tiered cake with a custom cake topper. They told me the cost and other details, I made a deposit of about $55 to reserve our spot, and had until 2 weeks before the event to get back to the baker and finalize the guest numbers and the cake size. I got in touch with them as soon as I received the final RSVPs as we agreed upon so that we could finalize the flavor and I could pay the remainder of the balance which was about $214 with transaction fees! They charged my card, and right after that I started getting messages about where I got the original design and if I could have my cookie baker (I have a fantastic cookie artist who created matching cookies for the party to go with the cake, her work is beautiful) send them her stencils so that they could use them to create the design for the cake. I told them that my cookie baker does her cookies free hand without using any stencils. They said that it was ok and that they would find a solution. They sent me several other designs very different from what I had originally sent them, and then they told me that they could not create the fondant cake topper that they initially promised (they were going to charge $50 for this) and that they could create the topper out of cardboard!
I was so shocked and told them that I would not put cardboard on my daughter’s cake. We had over 30 guests including family and her school friends. We had reserved an indoor playground for the kids to play, ordered custom cookies, favors, pizza, and drinks for everyone and spent all the money for the party and the cake so my daughter could get the beautiful birthday cake that she wanted. Them offering to put a non-edible item on the cake was very upsetting. Still, since it was 2 weeks before the event, and I knew other places would not accept a custom cake order on such short notice, I decided to forget about the cake topper and just have them make the cake itself. After that, they sent me some other stencil designs to choose from, but none were close at all to what I had asked. I was very upset and annoyed, so I decided to change the cake’s design completely and sent them a simple cake covered in buttercream that just needed to have some basic piping techniques to create some simple flowers, etc. They again assured me that it was okay and that they would deliver the exact cake I had asked for.
Since the bakery was located over an hour away from us, we decided for them to deliver the cake for which I had to pay another $85. On Friday, the day before my daughter’s birthday, the driver brought the cake and put it on our foyer shoe closet and left immediately without me having the time to look at it. I brought the cake to the kitchen and immediately I noticed the very bold pink, yellow, and purple colors, poorly done one note piping all over, and the ugliest most basic fondant flowers I have ever seen on a cake. I am not a baker, but just like many other parents, we had to make birthday cakes for our daughter during the pandemic, and I can guarantee you that what my husband and I created then was much more visually appealing than the cake this baker had delivered. I could not believe that they could not pipe simple flowers or even match the colors to the photo I sent them with several color palette to make sure they kept the color according to our birthday theme.
Stressed out and panicked, I reached out to the person I was in touch with, took a couple of photos of the cake, and sent them to her. She said she was shocked that the baker had not followed the instructions and that, yes, the cake looks different, etc! She said she would get in touch with the baker to see what has happened and what they can do.
I waited anxiously for half an hour and I called to inquire about what had happened and why my 2 months of communication was not enough to stop them from creating such a hideous cake!
They told me that if I’m not happy with the cake I should take it to my local grocery store bakery and that they can redo the design (I did actually tried this and called them but both Costco and Wegman’s told me they cannot do this due to liability issues. They only redo the designs for cakes that were purchased from them). Then the baker told me to take the cake to her in the morning of my event so that she can redo it in 30 mins! I told her that I have other appointments in the morning and all the last minute stuff that I must take care of and that is not something that I can do. Also, looking at the cake, the poor piping, the colors, etc. I had lost all of my faith in this business and what the baker was promising. If she really could make the cake she promised, why had she simply not done it in the first place? I told them that she can create a brand new cake, send me the picture and if it is the cake that I ordered or anything close to what I had ordered, my husband would take the first cake back in the morning and pick up the new cake. Just so you know the cake’s flavor was a simple vanilla cake with American butter cream, nothing too complicated for a so-called baker to make in few hours. They refused that and said that they were sorry, but their cake tastes great even though visually it is not what you asked for!
I was so frustrated and almost in tears, I did not want to disappoint my daughter who was looking forward to her birthday and seeing this cake. I printed out the design and ran to my local grocery store bakery and plead with them to help create something similar to the cake we had wanted. The lady working there was so nice and despite the last minute request, she agreed to stack 4 of their premade cakes and decorate them to create a similar design. When I showed her the pictures of the other cake that I paid over $350 to received, she could not believe the poor job that they had done.
I came home, still nervous about how the new cake would turn out when I picked it up in the morning. The baker called a few hours later to let me know that accepting my cake was a mistake. She is not comfortable working with butter cream and when I asked her about the simple piping she told me she did not have the various piping tips and tools so she only use the one piping tip that she had and piped the entire cake with it. For context, I have bought decorating tip sets from Michael’s and Target in the past and they cost less than $10 for a set of 6-8 design tips! They charged me that much money and did not bother to spend $10 to buy some reusable tools, or even not having them in the first place!
I confronted her about the color choices and the fact that it was nothing like what I requested. She would not give me a straight answer! I told her that her cake was sitting in my fridge, and that I would neither use it for the party nor eat it, because I was utterly disgusted with their dishonesty, and that she can either come and pick up the cake or tell me to dispose of it. I also told her that I am calling the bank to initiate a dispute for not providing the services that were agreed upon. I have all our texts and communications about them assuring me they would deliver what I requested. CO has temporarily credited my account for all 3 of the charges they made. I picked up the grocery store cake and although it is not what we had in mind, given the less than 24 hours that they had, their design, techniques, and colors were good enough to save my daughter’s birthday yesterday. I was very upset that, despite spending all this money for a nice party for my girl, I ended up serving our guests cheap premade cakes! I contacted the baker to see what she wants me to do with the cake. I cannot donate it or give it to someone because honestly now I worry that when it looks this terrible, then the flavor and taste could be horrible too. I need to use the space in our fridge so can I just throw away this ugly cake? Will Capital One reverse the charges if the baker claims that they still delivered the cake to me?
I have had so much stress since Friday morning and just want to be done with this nightmare. Does the baker have any say in this or will the bank side with me since I have all the evidence that they failed to deliver what was agreed upon and that I did not use the cake for the intended event and, due to lack of communication and us needing our fridge space I had the right to dispose of the cake?

Well, no doubt they've seen the reaction - but I don't see why they thought the tactics thus far have been wise.
I'm going to skip talking about the teaser from last year - though it is still part of it.
At the SoP they spent over 5 minutes on the story vignette. Why? I understand they want to sell the characters, but something more all-encopassing would've been better. I hate to draw the comparison since apart from being hero shooters I don't think they're actually too alike - but Overwatch's first trailer basically says 'this is what 'Overwatch' is and this is why the events in-game occur'. Great. Concord? No idea. Most of the info came later as the voice over described what a 'freegunner' is.
Point being, the story is actually going to be relatively minor, so devoting 5 minutes to something in media res doesn't seem like the best move. Get me interested, then sell me on the characters.
As it is, I knew Firewalk was working on a multiplayer game (as I pay attention to rumours and leaks), so I can't say I was shocked. But I've watched various reactions and read comments and most people are dumbfounded (even people responding well to the first trailer) as to why the vignette sets up the story to matter when it's a 5v5 mp game - not a singleplayer or co-op game.
We know that since Sony started working with Firewalk (before even buying the studio) that they were impressed with the gameplay and concept. The game is also clearly just about ready.
In my opinion, they'd have been better off simply showing a match or match highlights and interspersing genuine reactions from players (pro players from other games? gaming content creators? a mix?). If it's close enough to ready they could have done a whole 'stick around after the showcase to watch extended gameplay' or a live match or two.
As it is, people are wondering what sets this apart from other hero shooters and comparing it to Overwatch. From what I've seen each character has a directional dodge (with a cooldown) along with support and offensive abilities. From the gameplay shown, I actually thought it seemed a lot more like Destiny's crucible/Halo arena with a smidge of Valorant more than Overwatch.
I'm optimistic but still a little skepitcal - interested to see what people think of the beta. That said, if this game costs more than £30, I'm not even going to try unless the monetisation is laid out and clear (and limited). I don't want to pay for a premium title only to also be told to buy battle passes, skins and new characters.

So me and my friend are looking into buying this game but we’re not sure if it’s free to do co-op? I saw some things saying you gotta pay for servers? So is there no way to do co op on ps5? We’re only gonna get it if you can do co op/multiplayer for free

Looking at buying a 1920s house in North America and the ceilings look like this through out the house. Is this a big/immediate problem?
