(Im sorry if my english is bad) For starters me (19M) and my best friend (18M) have known eachother since birth. We are both in a friend group that resulted from all of our parents being friends with eachother. The group consists of us two, another guy (19M) and two girls (18F) and (19F). We all grew up very close in Russia, however I am ukrainian. We went to school together, went on vacations together and generally were all doing everything together. Not long ago, when picking out collages, my best friend was telling me about how he wishes he could stay in Russia and how he cant because of some reasons I will not share here, and so naturally I offered that I could go to college with him in another country. Fast forward a few months later we both got into a pretty good collage in Finland. Now about our backround basically my best friend is very close with one of the girls in the group but they both stated that they do not like eachother and if you ask me, they didnt seem to have any kind of spark between eachother. However he was also very close to the other guy in the group. By close I mean that they literally acted like a couple. Whenever we would have school summer camps they would share a bed and sometimes I would even catch them cuddle, they would hug a lot etc. and generally make a lot of jokes about being gay for eachoter and liking eachother. You should know that my best friend is extremely handsome, I mean like model handsome. He is tall, not too muscular and not too skinny, pale skin, green eyes, soft blonde hair and very beautiful features. He looks so beautiful from every single angle, he looks beautiful while he sleeps, when he laughs, when he cries and is probably the most beautiful person I have ever met in my entire life. Despite that, he has never been in a relationship. A lot of girls have liked him in the past but he rejected them and he is pretty popular on social media and gets praised for his looks online as well. Aside from his looks he is also very smart. He is passionated about history and linguistics, he is good at maths and in general he is a very cultured person. He is very kind, funny, loving and has this sensitive side that he doesnt show too often. He just lights up the room everytime even though he is not that kind of positive and happy person you would imagine. He has gone through a lot in his childhood, things that I will not mention. On his 18th birthday, some things happened and I was lucky enough to be in time to stop them, which resulted into him bursting in tears in my arms and telling me how he feels about his life. A lot of time has passed since that event. Now we share an apartament here in Finland and go to college together. He seems happier, or maybe since he doesn’t spend that much time alone anymore he is just distracting himself from all the things he was going through. It is currently risky for me to go back in my home country and so I usually just go to Russia together with him on holidays. I am really enjoying all the time spent with him and I have never felt happier for such a long period of time. Recently he started hanging out with another guy from the same college and not going to lie but I feel kind of jealous. Since then I started to question my feelings for him. I never pictured myself or him actually being gay, let alone together in a relationship. I feel scared and nervous. My mother and her boyfriend will definitely hate me more than they already do and my father will probably think Im a disappointment. I feel as if I am betraying my religion and my identity but at the same time I feel so happy with this man. And here comes the biggest problem of all, what if after all he isnt gay and I will ruin our friendship. Yesterday night he went over to the new guys house.The guy likes him, he told me, asking for advice and more things about my best friend. I was kind of mad that I didnt get invited too, especially when he knows how close we are. Before going, I acted kind of rude towards him, which I regret, but he brushed it off and just left. Later at night when he came home, I was already in bed, pretending to sleep. I heard him change and get straight into his bed. A few moments later he started crying. He was crying very badly and I could tell he was trying to keep quiet. I dont know if anything happened there or if he was crying about my response or about his past because I simply didnt get up or have any kind of reaction, which again, I regret. I tried talking to him today in the morning, I didnt tell him I heard how he cried, I just acted normal, and although he wasnt his usual self, he didnt act sad or anything. I dont know wether I should or should not ask him about last night. And most importantly I dont know if I should tell him about my feelings for him and explain the situation.

tl;dr - Wiring an exhaust fan with complications.
Hey Folks, new to Reddit and such. I'll save the formalities; I'm looking for some assistance with understanding the operation of a 42-in exhaust fan in a greenhouse.
Admittedly, the greenhouse existed long before my time, and it is apparent things weren't upkept properly. At the end of the day, I will probably need a professional electrician's assistance, but wanted to consult you all as well for a learning opportunity. Apologies for the "improper" names of components; while I understand some basic electronics, this project is somewhat beyond my knowledge.

Here's a rundown of what I have gathered, tested, and where things currently stand.
In the greenhouse is a dedicated breaker panel. One double-breaker controls the exhaust fan. A few months ago, I jerry-rigged the wiring in the left terminal box so that when the breaker was on, the fan operated. Now, a wire has likely come loose, and I cannot figure out how to repair. The fan still works, but some "auxiliary components" do not.
From the breaker, the wires go into a three-position switch, then into the first of two terminal boxes (above the red lawnmower above). Each terminal box has some sort of "thermostat" on its side, with one being marked 90* and the other 85* in sharpie. Turning the dials on both of these does nothing. I anticipate the thermostats do not work, likely corroded connections.
The switch has hand-written text stating "Caution, override." When the switch is in the middle (off) or up (on), the terminal box below it does nothing. When down (on), the system is trying to do...something, explained next. More sharpie text has an arrow "forward" for summer and "back" for winter; as it is written above the first terminal box.
In the right box, there is a terminal with a gray "push button." When the switch is down, this gray button is "automatically" pressed into the terminal block and a buzz sound occurs. Nothing else happens. It's a rather loud buzzing.
Wires come out of this first terminal box, into a second, then into the exhaust fan. In this second terminal box is a ton of wires (like the first box too). Their state is rather unkempt. On the front face of the terminal box is some manufacturer data, a pushable blue "reset" button, and another pushable "button." If I push in this second gray-black button and hold it, the fan powers on at full speed. There is a mix of wire nuts and colored wires. Red, blue, black, green, white, and brown. There are some wires which are loose, and I assume fell out of a wire nut.
I've provided some pictures to hopefully help explain the circuitry, and appreciate any help you all may be able to provide. Being at a school, the nature of "getting repairs" for something like this is far down the bureaucratic totem pole of repairs, so I do not anticipate getting an electrician's help soon. Thank you for your knowledge and the teachable moment for me!

These past few months have been rather lonesome and I feel like I don't have anyone that I have a strong connection with that I can talk to about the things that are going on in my life. I would like to find someone to have that connection with even if it is just casual conversation.
A little bit about me, I am 26 and live in Ohio. I graduated last year with my Bachelors in computer science and graphic design. Although I would not call myself much of an artist. I am looking for work in the IT field with little success so far. I enjoy playing video games with my friends and that is my main hobby, I would like it if we could relate over gaming but that is definitely not a requirement. I also love animals, pretty much any animal at all. I have a cat named Gandalf who I love dearly, he is my buddy. I like exploring new music and finding stuff that I haven't heard before that I enjoy. I have made a playlist for the last two years with all of the new music I found for that year. I enjoy going outside, especially with Gandalf, when it is not extremely hot out. I also like watching movies and anime although I haven't watched a ton of anime so far. I am pretty introverted and definitely prefer staying in to going out but I still enjoy going out sometimes. I am happy to talk about anything and learn about your interests and about you in general. I think I am pretty personable and I am definitely pretty chill overall. As far as looks go, I am sort of tall (5'11"), medium length brown hair, green eyes and I weigh 175 lbs. Driving Miss Daisy (1989) was actually seen as a controversial Best Picture winner even back in the day. It beat out Do The Right Thing, which wasn't even nominated.
The performances in this film are absolutely fantastic. Freeman and Tandy have excellent chemistry as the two leads. Even the Supporting players are very good. I don't know if the film deserved to win BP, Screenplay or Makeup, but Best Actress was absolutely deserved.
The movie itself....is not bad. I expected it to be way worse. It's better than Crash and Green Book, even though that's a very low bar to overcome. The movie felt mostly like a filmed play, with the conservations mostly carrying the film.
Overall, not a bad film. But Do The Right Thing absolutely should've won.

I have been noticing since last year that the lawn is probably starting to show some signs of disease. It’s Bermuda grass and i have a lawn care company that frequently fertilizes it. But still it doesn’t seem to have completely recovered from dormancy. The neighbors grass is turning green but not mine. I live in NC and the weather here has started to stay in upper and mid 70’s.

Hardcover book about insects. The color pallete of the inside was white, bright lime green, and bright pink. I believe it had an illustration of a fly on the cover. The book was more or less a foot in length and had anatomical graphs of insects in black in white, usually illustrations. The tone of the book wasn't particularly targeted towards children and I remember it using technical language. I remember a couple of graphs about experiments on insects (the book is not 101 simple experiments with insects) and one had something to do with placing an insect in a tub of water but I could be misremembering.
Edit: the book was primarily graphs with explanations. Not a novel with occasional pictures.

A lot happened before my father passed my sisters both demanded accounts and signed on the way they owned our father and her to the lot of large amount of money before he retired one sister had full control to put one account and because her husband had knowledge of how to control people with these accounts and how to sign them to where you own them and could walk away with all that one dollar unless my dad wanted to press charges felony and he did not he lived with that for several years the thing was my brother-in-law demanded I didn't no help and no cash from my father who bought me a vehicle and he also demanded who bought from him so he could have his own cash that started a bad thing but on the other note my other sister and brother planned a long time ago to steal all on the end and one sister her whole name go in life was to still everything in the end to work as a librarian in order to mingle with authorities with a plan of cutting me out because mother made her hate me when we were children she told her she was a real oldest daughter I was adopted by my father in the state of Missouri because I had no father my mother was abusive to me and she got her words she cut me out she got threw me out of the family they had me abused I had a death threat at one time when my memories came back I have an appointment to talk to a trusted her recovery attorney next week but it's well down to now it's a dirty stuff but they're still a very large amount of money missing that was too preachers one being a bad lawyer who was elected to prosecutor because of his name the state of Missouri couldn't help me with that because he was elected. There's no protection for heirs even though there's laws in Missouri. And when did in-laws with hating their heart and greed they come errors assets were never reported I never got anything from my dad as far as I had property stored there I finally got my camper but it cost me a lot my brother forced me to sign titles and soon tops and my sister would use them on something I told her it would be fraud because they couldn't Court can tell immediately that the paper was added to after the signature landlords can't get away with that anymore unless the person can't take them to court then they do cuz it happened to me before my thoughts are I was abused my life was certain all this Northwest Missouri it's very corrupt a bank account was moved when I was dying in another state and the prosecutor won't even let me look because it's been a few years back I need prosecutor the bank was concerned like there was a criminal and that prosecutor said get a lawyer well that's all I was told by a person well when they have more money and they've used pictures to launder money they use the prosecutor to get their way to not probate a larger state and they turn their back on me that goes to me like I am a disease because I know what they did my life was in dangerous I still don't feel safe I'm in this town I'm working on getting away from here so I can take care of the rest of this but my children didn't deserve to be cut out my father did not do this they did what they wanted for very large amount of money who got a very large attack right before he died and then I don't know who got the money I'm not money doesn't drive me but the fact that they did what they did has me irritated because my children did not deserve this my brother was supposed to probate and help me get all this done so my sister's got their way so far but my mother was in the background she was the first ex-wife and he was single but my one sister control freak controlled dad never move after his last divorce and he couldn't trust her she stole tooth imagine that grave sold them a year later without telling him to make banked on that but she did that because my other sister would find onto his largest inheritance account and controlling him with it he didn't press start his own either one but he did turn him in before he died after he got that last check he was bullied that's why they wanted my memory is gone I hired somebody to come into my life I found Love with a narcissist who was there for hire St Joe Missouri is very corrupt Andrew county was where the prosecutor fake probate attorney was they're still a fake casing at the judge refused to move it off but my brother is no longer represented who paid it to get it stopped to get those two titles back my father bought way more local than that my brother and said he was doing his own probate he bullied me to sign in 15 titles two were property I can't find out where those went except for I know they were laundered through his church his Titan picture who greedy preacher but also was involved and getting money off the top that's I'm in the assets it's all a mess it's a very big mess I'm talking to Tony next week another one thing is only have one chance that they got more money than they're counting you know I they laundered money they did it's on public 300 vehicles cars and trucks at dad bought for probate my brother promised to do with me that sisters pays him to do with that program that month is already had the prosecuting attorney as a lawyer he's not even a probate lawyer and now he's not a prosecutor attorney who knows he did wrong he's also a preacher but he's one of those tithing pictures like the other one putting printers lying their own pockets with other people's money they don't give it to the floor they're legal things in my eyes but I'm opinionated

This was bought from a local knife store. barely carried so it is in really good condition. it is slightly broken in. and it has a nice mirror polished razor sharp edge on it. It is currently wearing a Lynch NW flat Ti pocket clip with thier feather logo on it. And a pair of Ti Connector dual zirconium thumbstuds. BD is july 31st, 2023. It comes with untied lanyard, original thumbstud and pocket clip, leather slip and whatever else normally comes with this.
Spyderco Slysz Bowie M390 KJ Gen 1 --- SV --- $380
I got this one recently, but its a tad bit small for me. the previous owner got rid of the anno and its currently raw smooth Ti, it feels super nice. the blade is great w/ a nice mirror polished edge. the action is dummy smooth. Since this is a Gen 1, it doesnt have a over travel stop or insert. its wearing a aftermarket deep carry pocket clip. the original pocket clip in included in the box. there is no lockstick or anything issues like that. this thing is straight up super nice and i hope it goes to a good home.

at least the second owner on this one. its a nice integral piece. action is superb. spydieflicking this one is super satisfying. the ergonomics are great, especially when you choke up on the finger choil. has some nice acoustics you can hear in the video. lockup is super solid with no blade play.

Save yourself from shipping from china and order this one from me! barely carried this thing. its nice, but definitely not close to the original nirvana. but for what it is, its nice. the one thing it has over the real nirvana is the action. the action is nuts. you can see it in the video. other than sharpening the blade to test the steel ( which seems to be alright. it holds an edge well enough, and is dummy sharp currently) there is no issues with this knife. lockup is rock solid aswell. no blade play.
Green Thorn Shiro F7 - M390 --- SV --- $155
Got this one off the swap, so im atleast the second owner. the scales are a great color and the milling is nice. the blade is great and super sharp currently. GT uses real M390, so overall this is a super solid piece. the action as expected is super smooth. it comes with multiple extra sets of different bearings. along with 3 of the shiro tools needed to maintain this knife. these are pictures in the imgur above. no blade play.
