2024.05.30 19:21 Sm0keScr3en [CAN-AB][H] Hundreds of RTX 3070, RTX 3060M, RX 5600 XT, RX 5700, RX 5700 XT, RTX A4000, RTX A5000 GPUs + more [W] Paypal

GPUs are all in great shape, fans run quiet, no grinding, rattling, scratching etc. I ship to both Canada or the States, and all pricing at the bottom of the post includes shipping costs to Canada, or the US
Most will come with fresh thermal paste depending on existing condition
Temps are generally pinned around 65°C @ 100% synthetic load with an auto fan curve (+/- 5°C depending on the exact model)
In total, I have the following available:

RTX 3060M 6GB GDDR6

These are laptop RTX 3060 chips fitted onto discrete PCBs. They have active driver support, run extremely cool and quiet, and actually outperform a regular 3060 in some scenarios (the RTX 3060M has 3840 cuda cores, while a regular RTX 3060 has 3584)
They do require some setup to be used properly.

Setup instructions will be included with the GPU and are very basic. If you have surface level knowledge of PCs and PC components you shouldn't face any difficulty in getting these units to work

You must have a motherboard with 4G decoding support for these to work. This is a very common feature found on nearly every single motherboard built after 2017. You will need a CPU with an iGPU or another GPU to enable some settings on your motherboard before installing it.
Additionally, they have a single HDMI port. Unsure of the generation. It displays out of the HDMI slot after all setup steps have been followed (again, you will receive all necessary setup instructions as well as support when you purchase one of these)

2024.04.29 05:02 Turkey_1219 Is the GPU dying?

Is the GPU dying?
Is this a sign of the GPU dying or something related to the GPU? I keep crashing while playing Destiny 2, but sometimes it won't happen. I can still complete 50 waves of onslaught without crashing, but most of the time it will crash. Usually, the crash involves a black screen, and I can still hear the sound, and a Windows notification sound.
I'm not sure what the error is because I can't seem to find it on the Windows Event Viewer :/
Currently using the RVZ03 ITX casing. I'm thinking that the GPU riser might be the problem or it could be the GPU itself.
The specs for the PC are:
  • Intel Core i5-12600K
  • Aorus B760i Pro motherboard
  • PNY 8GB x 2 DDR4 RAM
  • 2x NVMe, 2x SATA SSD
  • Gainward phoenix RTX3080
  • Cooler Master V750 SFX Gold PSU
  • Windows 11 Pro
What I have done is:
  • Fresh reinstall of Windows 11
  • Fresh reinstall of Nvidia drivers
  • Reinstall of Destiny 2
andddd, the problem still there.

Hey folks
Ive been recently having an issue with my computer. While using it (mostly gaming) the screen will suddenly go black and the fans start going crazy. This all started happening when I switched out an 3070 for a 4090.
I’ve tried to solve it by updating all kind of drivers and bios, but it still keeps happening. Any of you have any ideas on how to fix it?

2024.04.14 16:17 hansuwe1 GTX 1080 blackscreen (only works when removing CMOS sometimes)

I bought a used Gainward GTX 1080 Phoenix from Ebay. The seller said that it had driver problems and only worked with low resolution. After using DDU to install to remove my RTX 3070 Ti drivers and installing the new GPU, I got no video output and just a blackscreen. The GPU fans spin, the rgb lights up and I can log in and hear the windows sounds but there is no display. The Boot and VGA LEDs only light up when i am in BIOS. After removing the CMOS Battery and installing it, the GPU boots without any problems. I stress tested it with furmark and 3dmark and it works completly fine. The temps were really good at just 60° over a long time. Then the next day I tought that the problem was solved and it was just a motherboard problem. I tried to boot but once again the fans were spinning, the rgb lights were on but a blackscreen. After removing the CMOS battery which worked the first time, I still got the blackscreen. Then I removed the battery for about 5 more times until it finally worked. Then I stress tested the GPU again without any problems. I shut the pc down and turned it on again and it worked without any problems. I could even play games for a few hours. So I turned my PC off and after about 3 hours I turned the PC on and I got a blackscreen. Now I installed my old 3070 Ti because I need to find a solution.
Some more things you should know: When I get a blackscreen the GPU fans are spinning faster than usual. Not at 100% but at about 70% I would guess.
The GPU looks brand new from the outside except that the SLI slot has some dirt on it. I think it might be used to mine crypto.
Because of the low temperature, I guess that the thermal paste has been changed. Maybe the person damaged something on the inside, maybe something that has to do with the video output.
I have used hdmi and displayport and both have worked when it showed display.
The rest of my pc is completly fine, it has to 100% be the GPU or atleast some setting on the motherboard.
I also tried to use pcie 3.0 version in the BIOS settings but it didn't work.
I hope that it is just a software and not a hardware problem. From my testing it seems like the GPU is 100% working, when it shows display. The interesting part is that it only works sometimes when I remove and add the CMOS battery again.

2024.04.01 02:06 metalbirka A750 - Surprisingly good for a first gen dGPU

Dear Redditers (of IntelArc),
Just wanted to share my experience of the Intel Arc A750. Not gonna lie, was pretty hyped when it was released and got it a few months later for a pretty reasonable price (on a major discount for around $240 at that time). I was using it in a Razer Chroma X eGPU case most of the time and only recently put it into a PC for a family member.
In general it performed well as an eGPU, but even better in a PC. For sure had some issues with some Nvidia GPU equipped intel laptops, but after some tweaking they were working fine. It had no issues using it from an "only Intel integrated GPU" laptop, tho.
Had a small glitch, because after I put it into the PC and installed driver I needed to install it again because it was nowhere available. Since then the driver is still intact and working, I can proudly report it :D.
In the age of 3++ slot GPUs I need to admit I love the aesthetics of the A750 (and A770). The most solid card I have held for a long time. Obviously its not some MSI Suprim grade card, but it can surely beat my RTX 3070 Gainward Phantom in build quality, fan noise and in some cases performance too. The driver quality and performance is improving each iteration too.
For games I have only used with DX12, 2560x1440 resolution and high preset - it was more than okay (90++ FPS). Car racing games, MMORPGs and some 3rd person view games (Spider Man, etc). Naturally didn't really hit the capabilities of the monitor, but for a card which costs around 200 euros, this is really great value.
All in all, since I bought the card drivers really matured a lot and stability while still having some issues I think are far from being bad for a "first gen" dGPU. If I compare my experience with AMD drivers (and those nasty crashes + unresolvable lags) Intel honestly did a really good job. I'm not sure if they plan to, but I really hope in the future they will release some mid-high GPUs. More competition = better variety of choice for us. Before I wrote this short post I checked and seems like people have actually stability and compatibility issues. I hope your situation is going to get resolved (either by finding a workaround or Intel releasing an update) soon.
How do you see Intel's position in the GPU market? Did you regret buying an Intel GPU or are you planning to invest into the new gen when its released too?
I look forward to hearing from all of you,
Regards,
Ps. I'm not an Intel fanboy. I have been using Ryzen based PCs for a very long time (never had an Intel PC either). Simply I'm amazed of the A750.

2024.03.27 11:53 Inflation-Salt Games crashing even though GPU isn't overheating

I got a used Gainward 3090 Phoenix a year ago and it always overheated (although I repasted it, didn't make much difference probably due to being heavily used before) but I have always used it with undervolt and I always use frame cap to not utilize it 100%.
I was using a 1440p monitor and it was working perfect but I just got a 4k monitor recently and ever since switching to 4k games started crashing.
I'm using the same undervolt profile and still capping the frames. Gpu is using about 250 to 330 watts depending on the game and the frame cap I'm using (never full load).
My fan curve is more aggressive than default (I use an aggressive fan curve beside undervolt to help with thermals) and it reaches 73-74 celcius degrees maximum.
With the voltage curve I'm using the gpu operates at 1800 mHz at 850-875 mV stable.
The only thing changed is the resolution and now games are crashing to windows without any error, just games closing after some time. Any ideas and/or fixes to this behaviour?

Note: everything is up to date (drivers, windows etc.)
UPDATE: Its the ubdervolt curve :) Turns out my gpu can do higher clocks when its not thermal throttled, I realized this with default curve after every curve I used crashed with Spider-Man Remastered. I think I need to do a less aggressive curve in order for it to be stable. Some games do crash even if the curve is stable for others

2024.03.18 13:56 Jim_Bien Replacement help needed

Hi. It's less about building a new PC and finding a proper replacement part.
Literally a week short from 10 years of service, my GTX 770 croaked after first displaying Unity error. I've tried all known to me solutions (driver reinstall, restoring state of the OS from week prior, the online solutions for the errors that the device manager displays etc.), thinking the driver simply got busted, bu no matter what, the GPU is displaying interchangeably code 52 and 43 in the device manager, while I'm stuck at the basic display, with minor artifacts. GPU-Z shows unknown instead of values for bandwidth and bus width, which means the chipset is fried (or at least as far as I understand it). If I'm wrong on my assertions, then any help will be appreciated even more.
But the far more likely outcome is that the GPU died. Which is a pretty bad fucking news, as I'm in no position to assemble a whole PC from a scratch AND I don't even want to - I'm perfectly content with my 10 yo PC. Which brings the subject of the replacement. I was unable to source a single used GTX 770 to the specs of mine in my country, which means I need to find other GPU to replace it. On top of that, the last time I was "in the loop", it was when I was assembling this PC, so I'm a little bit rusty when it comes to techs and specs.
My current rig consists of:
So I need a replacement GPU that will:
  1. Fit into the motherboard
  2. Work with the supply unit
  3. Will be at the very least as good as the current GTX 770 or better
  4. Will be nVidia (the bias is illogical, but still - ATI block writing one of the most common diacritics in my native, as they take it over for their function combination, which is incredibly annoying)
For added hurdle it has to work with Win7, as the PC in question is regularly used for my home office and work-related software works only up to Win 8.1, meaning any GPU that's reliant on Win10 won't do. Not that it would work with the rest of the rig, being "too modern", but still worth to point out.
tl;dr please send help to someone who is entirely out of the tech loop since late 10s.
PS
Forgot to mention. It would be super-useful if the new card had two separate ports, one for the monitor, one for the HDMI cable. This is not a deal-breaker, but would solve the issue of having to constantly re-screw different cables.

2024.03.17 10:32 Fungus350 Possibly dead gpu

Possibly dead gpu
I accidentally installed the GPU like this. Even after I reseated it, now the GPU boots, but if I install drivers for it, I just get a black screen. Is this fixable or is it not fixable anymore?
The gpu : Gainward RTX 2060 Super

2024.02.26 18:33 misthic PC reboots on idle

Hello fellas,
I'm encountering pretty annoying problem that I can't seem to resolve.
Background: I recently upgraded my system, swapping out my Gigabyte RTX 3070 Eagle OC for a Gainward 4080 Super and my SilentiumPC Supremo FM2 Gold 750W PSU for a Fortron Hydro Ti PRO 1000W Titanium.
Other components: Gigabyte Z690 GAMING X DDR4 Intel i9-12900K Crucial 4x8GB 3600 MHz CL16
Very short description: My PC keeps rebooting during idle or desktop activities.
Longer description: After replacing the GPU and PSU, and ensuring all cables were properly connected, my PC started randomly rebooting when idle. Here's what I've tried so far:
Despite these efforts, the issue persists, and I'm running out of ideas. It's becoming increasingly frustrating.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem or have any suggestions to offer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2024.02.11 08:05 pulec7 Skull and Bones - RTX 4090 poor performance ?

Hi, has anyone encountered poor performance on the RTX 4090. I have a Gainward Phantom RTX 4090 + 7950X3D on X670E MB. DDR5 6000MHz CL30.
I'm using an RTSS ingame overlay fed from HWinfo. Playing in 4K native max detail gives around 50 FPS, which let's say might not be the weirdest thing but what is really weird so while playing the GPU utilization is 99% but its boost core is 1000-1250MHz consumption so up to 100w. So the GPU is running at like 1/3 of its power. Normal boost core of my card is 2850-2880MHz and consumption is 400-450w.
Vsync off of course. I tried to force via nvidia driver vsync off, FPS limit off, tried to turn off DX12 Ray Tracing but nothing helped. The only thing I get better FPS with is DLSS but even with quality the game looks worse than with native TAA.
Is this some problem in the drivers or some bug directly on my build. Anyone have a similar experience?
EDIT:
PROBLEM SOLVED! - of course it was a small thing that occurred to me. For some reason a bug between the game and MSI Afterburner. I have the card slightly overclocked. Which isn't a problem, but there was obviously some conflict. All I had to do was reset the MSI Afterburner settings to base, delete the Skull and Bones ini file, run the game and re-set the new values in MSI Afterburner and everything is working as it should.
I still have a heavily modified nvidia control panel for the game where I have hardcoded anisotropic filtering 16X, MSAA 8x and a few other features for maximum image quality which puts extreme load on the GPU but gives beautiful image quality. Especially MSAA 8x is really hardcore. But now I am getting 4K Native MSAA 8x 90-110FPS :).

2024.02.10 22:09 PlasticCouple3937 Phoenix Gainward gtx 1070?

Hello, I have a gtx 1070 gainward from Phoenix. The gpu gets power I think and everything but doesn‘t post. First the fans spin normally then the rgb goes off (fans still spinning) and after that the rgb turns on back again. I know very much that it is the gpu faulty because I have an gtx 1080, rx 580 and another gtx 1080 that work perfecty fine on the same setup.
Does somebody know what might be the problem?
Things that I‘ve tried:
Different pin cable Installing other drivers with igpu Opened the gpu to see for obv. water or burning damage
Setup: gtx 1070 gainward phoenix gigabyte ga-a b350m ds3h Ryzen 3 3200g 600w psu from be quiet (just bought new) 12 gb ddr4 ram
I have no warranty or whatever so please save the comments to turn it back because I can not!
Thanks for help in advance :))
Edit: wanted to try mods/mats. Couldn‘t obviously. tried the same gpu in another system = same issue

2024.02.05 04:22 Sm0keScr3en [CAN-AB][H] 20x RTX 3070 / 9x RTX 3060 M / RX 580's [W] Paypal

Have a wide variety of GPUs available. In total, I have 20x RTX 3070s, 9x Rtx 3060M's, and a few XFX GTS XXX Edition RX 580 8GB cards.
Cards are all in great shape, they were mined on for about 8 months, but were well taken care off. Temps were kept within spec, and cards had plenty of airflow. They were well optimized and undervolted. Fans all run quiet and cards all run cool. They've been partially refurbished, and have little to no dust. Cards will come with fresh thermal paste. Fans all run quiet, no grinding, rattling or whistling.

In total, I have:

4x MSI Suprim X RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 - 340$ USD
4x Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 - 300$ USD
4x Gigabyte Aorus RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 - 320$ USD
4x Gainward Chasing Wind RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 - 290$ USD
4x Colorful Battleaxe RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 - 300$ USD
I also have 9 RTX 3060M 6GB GPUs.
These are 3060 laptop chips fitted onto a discrete PCB. I have 2 variants available, some with a single 8 pin PCI connector, and the others with 2 PCI 8 pin connectors. Cards both use the same amount of power.
These cards work great in Windows, they require a little bit of configuration, with 2 changes to your motherboard's BIOS, and a single command in Windows.
Cards have active driver support, and outperform a regular 3060 in some scenarios. They run as quiet as a typical case fan at idle, though the fan speed cannot be changed unfortunately. The 3060M's also only have a single HDMI connector.
The stock fan speed keeps the cards at roughly 60°C on 100% synthetic load.
You motherboard must support secure boot with UEFI for these cards to display.
RTX 3060M 6GB GDDR6 / R7 3700X Benchmarks

Looking for 130$/unit for the RTX 3060M's

Also have 6x XFX 8GB RX 580s.
70$ USD per unit, or all 6 for 400$ USD
Timestamp
Comment before PM
Shipping will be another 18$ USD to Canada or the States
Invoices will be sent in CAD
