You were the one, the girl who was in a relationship, the crush I always wanted, the one I wanted to marry and spend my life with, to treat with the most genuine respect and to love and cherish. The problem was you were taken and I respected that line, most people don't. Yet life just kept moving forward. I come to find years later that your life has been filled with trauma, neglect, abuse, filled with drama and hate, being used and taken advantage of. The things I would never let happen to you or do to you were happening or had happened, and it breaks my heart to see you so different than the one I knew all those years ago. But deep in there it's still you and I hope that I may one day bring you back to happiness and to keep a smile on your face and to show you how much you are loved.
After 20 years we found each other living together albeit briefly after some difficult and unexpected times. I tried to tell you how I felt, you didn't want to hear it. And then we did something together I never thought would ever happen, and it was something I had hoped would happen for so long. I will always remember it and think about it everyday, how incredible it was and how it still could be. Even the first time our lips locked I was in complete ecstacy, the way you kissed me was something passionate and real, not just another kiss. I hope someone from here can help me or calm me down. I had a hot dream a week ago and it caused my body to react somehow and I had some cramping in my uterus that woke me up. Simce that experience, I've been scared to be intimate with my partner to the end and actually experience O. I wanted to do it step-by-step without him being involved so I used my toy this morning to see how my body reacts. Immediately after, I started having intense cramps in my uterus, along with strong nausea but no vomiting. I got very hot and covered with sweat. I had a need for bowel movement and felt pins and needles in my arms and legs, like my blood just decided to go somewhere else, more important. It was my 1st O in weeks. I took 2 paracetamols and tried to breathe through it. The whole thing took about 15-20 minutes. I now feel sensitive in my uterus and bloated but I had that before the incident as well. I'm worried the O contractions harmed my pregnancy and growing baby? Why was it so intense? For the record, I haven't had any bleeding or spotting, which is a good sign.
I have had it before I was pregnant. Always when I was closer to my period and always triggered by O. It has been hard for us to fall pregnant and I understand I am being anxious. I want to make sure I do everything right and don't jeopardise it in any way.
Maybe someone here has experienced this and shed some light to it. Can't even call my specialist because it's Saturday.

Heyo, was looking to start fin really soon since my hair has been thinning out a LOT it seems like. I went to the doctors and got a blood test done, and it seems like my bilirubin levels are elevated, which signifies some sort of possible liver dysfunction if I test high again next week or so. I was thinking about ordering finasteride online since I wasn’t happy with how fast the system was moving and I really need to get on it ASAP, but I realized that this might affect me negatively. Three weeks ago I defended my dissertation and passed. I guess I'm a doctor now? But this week, likely due to chronic stress, I have developed a bad case of shingles and it's very painful. I am going back for blood work because my liver enzymes were high and the doctors are concerned. I've never had any health issues nor do I have any pre-existing conditions. I drink maybe one bottle of wine a week. I'm in a foreign country to conduct research trying to maneuver the health system on my own. I'm saying this to all the graduate students to please take care of yourself and to be cautious about "powering through because it will be worth it in the end." I'm at the end and it wasn't worth it. I have rashes on my scalp, face, and down my chest and the PhD is not making the pain go away.

Apologies in advance for my lengthy post but necessary for history;
I just miscarried my first euploid from my first egg retrieval/transfer cycle and I'm devastated to say the least. I've now had 2 miscarriages at 7 weeks, 1 ectopic, and 2 chemical pregnancies.
A week or two before my miscarriage, a lot of weird things were going on with my body. I had an allergic reaction and my eyes blew up with hives up and down my arms. We could not narrow down what the reaction came from.. I continued all my meds and I was fine and it didn't happen again.
A few days later, at 5w5d I noticed swelling in my ankles around lunch time at work and I sit all day, so I thought that was odd.. I kept an eye on it all day and it progressively got worse. Spread to my feet first, then up both legs. My calves were literally double their normal size. I went to urgent care and they sent me to the ER to rule out a blood clot because the swelling was so bad. I was fine, no blood clot but no answers either.
I remembered this happened to me slightly (just feet and ankle swelling, and it went away with elevation) during my first pregnancy that I also miscarried at 7 weeks. I knew I took a picture to send to my husband so I ended up finding the picture and checking the dates, I was exactly 5w5d.. the same as this time and I miscarried a week later also.
My Dr thought that was more than just a coincidence and immediately said "We need to turn over every stone and make sure you don't have an autoimmune disease" Our appointments go fast and there's always so much info being thrown at me that I usually get to my car and think of 100 questions I should've asked.
If you saw a Rheumatologist after recurring pregnancy loss, what did they check for? Did you test positive for anything? Did it help with your protocol and end in a live birth?

I've been using both of these for a few weeks now, so here are some further thoughts.
It doesn't seem like the Flair Pro 2 takes that much more coffee by weight than the Coffeejack. Sure it takes a bit more of a dose, but not by that much. Close inspection of the Coffeejack puck after pulling a shot suggests to me that water isn't filtering through the puck evenly at the top. It looks as if most of the flow is going down and around the sides of the puck rather than through it. This would explain why shots are weaker than I would expect. I'm not sure why this is the case. I suspect the basket design is flawed somehow and so it's easier for water to flow around the edges of the basket than through the puck. Strange.
The Coffeejack also "cheats" by using one of these valves at the bottom of the "portafilter" to restrict flow and increase pressure. Some people suggest removing this value. I probably agree. If you leave the valve in place it's very easy to end up in a situation where you can't get any flow at all, because the overpressure valve in the main body of the unit releases at a lower pressure than the pressure required to obtain flow through the portafilter.
To understand why this is the case, consider that the valve in the bottom of the portafilter requires X amount of pressure for coffee to flow through it. The puck itself requires Y amount of pressure. So if X + Y < Z, where Z is the pressure threshold of the pressure release valve, then you won't get any flow. (Disassemble your unit to find the black overpressure valve. It's hidden beneath the silver mesh screen at the bottom of the glass water container.)
Some versions of Flairs also have this restriction valve feature. I don't think units like this make very good coffee. Your grind size should be what creates pressure. It's easy to buy coffee with the right grind size, if you don't have a grinder. People can become excessively obsessive about grind size. It doesn't matter that much, as long as the grind is fine enough to create some pressure when pulling a shot, it's ok. A very large grind obviously will not work. The same is true for a grind which is extremely fine, because it will restrict the flow completely. But you can't buy coffee with a grind that fine anyway.
The Coffeejack will remain wet internally for weeks. There's no way to dry it out inside without disassembling it.
The problem with the Coffeejack is it's extremely hard to apply enough pressure without releasing the over-pressure valve. This makes it frustrating to use, and in one of my previous posts I explained why doing this too many times might break it completely resulting in your having to re-assemble it to fix it.

It doesn't matter that much, as long as the grind is fine enough to create some pressure when pulling a shot, it's ok. A very large grind obviously will not work. The same is true for a grind which is extremely fine, because it will restrict the flow completely. But you can't buy coffee with a grind that fine anyway.
Burning your hands
It's easy to burn yourself with the Coffeejack. A flaw I did not fully realize until I started using it and wanted to pull a second shot after pulling a first.Cleaning
It's easier to clean the Flair Pro 2. Cleaning the Coffeejack is a painful process, as is waiting for it to dry. The Flair Pro 2 dries quickly. You can also towel dry it. Good luck doing that with the Coffeejack.The Coffeejack will remain wet internally for weeks. There's no way to dry it out inside without disassembling it.
Easy of use
Pulling a shot with the Flair takes some effort. You're going to have to use some arm strength to pull a shot with it. The Coffeejack is comparatively a low effort exercise, only requiring you to pump a small piston with relatively little effort. However this doesn't actually mean it's a better design, here's why:The problem with the Coffeejack is it's extremely hard to apply enough pressure without releasing the over-pressure valve. This makes it frustrating to use, and in one of my previous posts I explained why doing this too many times might break it completely resulting in your having to re-assemble it to fix it.
Summary

Friend A denied pressuring me and said that she was surprised I said maybe. And then said she didn't ask me to join and that they asked other people. We both exchanged messages, with me emphasizing the impact of her actions. I wanted her to understand that the way she handled this upset me and that she shouldn't have even brought it up again after I said no the first time. Finally after I realized that she just didn't understand my point of view, I asked if we could just let it go. And her response was “I’ll let this go for both our sakes. It’s very likely you misinterpreted the situation/my intentions but I want to let you know I did not appreciate being the target of your frustrations this morning."
All the time I was not rude, I had explained my feelings. She asked me to call her to talk and I wish I hadn't because her last message made me angry because she was upsetting me but turned it on me. My voice was raised when I called and she said that it's my fault I feel like this and her saying no pressure should have made me understand that. And then she brought up a disagreement from 2 weeks prior which I had apologized for and said that I hurt her feelings. She then started crying about the thing from two weeks before.
I finally just said that I didn't want to deal with this and I was going to move spots at work so I wasn't sitting by her.

I recently had routine bloods and my Creatinine level was 113 and says Level 3a CKD with AKI level 1 with recommended nephrology referral.
I had bloods done 5 months ago and the levels were classed as ‘Normal’ in the 50’s. Is it possible the test was inaccurate or showing a false high for any other reason?
Seems strange to have occurred within that time. I also have heart problems, which are awful and the thought of having kidney problems too is disheartening!

Hi my name is John, im 42, married with 2 kids and im the sole provider in our household. Im not in a good place at the moment. Ive had stomach issues over the last 4 months. At first i thought it may have to do with my coffee intake so i stopped but my stomach/abdomen issues have got worse.
Ive being having a burning feeling in my lower abdomen, when i sit in a lower position it feels as if im crushing an organ. I have migrating pain around my back near my kidneys, pain in one area when i bend over. Im always looking at my stool for blood, what i have noticed is that its shape and color have changed. My stomach hurts after i eat Im so tired all the time. Ten years ago i had a polyp removed which was not precancerous. Ive being to the doctor, my bloodwork is good, no h.pylori, i have a colonoscopy scheduled for end of month.
Im just really down on myself right now, im constantly close to breaking down, i fear i have cancer and will not be able to provide for my familly. Im blaming myself for waiting 10 years for another colonoscopy, but i thought thats what the doctor said at the time now i dont know. Ive suffered with anexity my whole life and with clinical depression for a period in 2018. I thought i overcame alot, but with this pain im having, i fear bowel cancer or stomach cancer or even pancreatic cancer. Sometimes i think if i did pass away then no more pain, but i hate these thoughts because i love my children and my wife, i dont know why im like this. Im thinking of going to the ER today to see if i can get a CT scan, im just petrified right now incase something odd shows up.
