So I’ve always wanted a tattoo and a friend introduced me to the idea of storytelling via tattoos and I loved it since I go nuts over imagery & it would be very personable (which is a must for me). I’m currently try just trying to come up with a very basic idea of what it MIGHT look like. I believe I have a good basis for what I want to do to start it off but after that, I fizzle. What kind of experiences have you guys used for inspiration? Divine knowledge is easy to integrate into prosthetic limbs. The benefits outweigh using delusions, if you wish to risk the chance of losing your mind. I consider that more safe than the guarantee of growing old and sick at an accelerated rate.

The roots of Irminsul run long and deep, and the branches shed leaves of knowledge unable to be comprehended rationally. To distill knowledge into an understandable form to implant in prosthetics is a tricky process. First it must be harvested from the trunk or a thick enough branch, and left to drip like maple syrup. Then it must be run through a machine to pick out the impurities of forbidden knowledge. This step must be repeated until a substance resembling primordial water remains. Finally, it is bottled into cartridges and put into prosthetics. (This is what I can imagine based off of theories but if anyone has any better ideas please share)

He is a disgrace. I don’t understand why he acts the way he does, no matter how much I and the other segments study and analyze his every movement. I’m convinced he is on to us, and outsmarting us. Coming from the mind of the same man as I am from, he has equal competition in intelligence. He thinks through his stupid decisions, as if he is choosing to be a moron. If I was allowed to kill him, I would take the opportunity and use his corpse for my research. He’s more useful to me as a corpse than an annoyance.

What I find fascinating is the fire she wields and the flames in The Knave’s blood are made of a similar chemical composition. It implies the mutation of the Crimson Moon is able to be artificially made in humans. May she and her lover be reunited in death, and be reborn in the new world together.

I will be honest with you. I am conflicted inside. I yearn for the affection and praise from The Doctor, as any child would from their father, but I know I cannot receive that without gathering knowledge for him. It is my purpose in life, and I am failing. The answer is so simple, but he won’t allow me to reach it. With the freedom to explore Teyvat, I can gather more knowledge in my field and be useful enough for his praise once again. But of course, I am too useful to his life, I have to be his right hand to keep replacing his organs. It’s pathetic to be forced into repetitive work but punished for being unable to gather more knowledge. An example of an Oroboros. Not by much, there are many downsides and I am stagnating in progress. But to be unable to gain funding and continue my research is what I risk if I leave. Pretty straightforward - my nephew asked me a variation of this the other day, and I was floored. I have no idea, so I figured I’d ask here. So:
Any guy knows how hilarious it is to see another guy take a shot to the pills. We laugh sympathetically because we know how much it hurts, and sometimes all you can do is laugh about it. Also, sometimes the circumstances of said nut hit are funny in and of themselves.
That said, do animals laugh or find amusement in the situation when another male animal gets whacked in the beans? Do animals even register? Like has an elephant ever gotten a sackthump and been like “lmao that was brutal” (or whatever the elephant version of that statement is), and fallen over or anything? Has a squirrel ever missed a jump and racked himself and the other dude squirrels sit there like… chittering at him?
I’m legitimately curious, and I need a good answer for my nephew.

Hi, So recently I have been having some pretty weird dreams/experiences that I have been trying to figure out, but I wanted to give some background first. I’m sorry in advance if this is longwinded
TLDR: My great-grandmother passed and has seemingly lit some ability I didn’t know I had.
Alright, so many of my family members are pagan and clairvoyant, which would include my mother (she even had two NDEs), maternal grandmother, and great aunt. I had a few experiences early on in childhood as well, including seeing deceased family members in dreams and visions, some not related to me at all.
As a teen and young adult these mostly faded, beyond me being very good at reading tarot and connecting well with my cards. I’d become mostly agnostic and a harsh skeptic. That is, until this past year.
I lost my grandfather in 2021, and I grieved him incredibly hard. He’d been like a father to me in a lot of ways, and I couldn’t say goodbye thanks to Covid. Cut to March 2024, and I lose my 104-year-old great-grandmother.
This death hit me even harder, as honestly, after 100, I’d joke she’d live forever. She was a sharp, witty, and brilliant British lady who stood at 4’9. She lit up every room she was in and told many stories of her days as a wren during WW2. I got to visit her on her deathbed, and this is where everything began for me.
She wasn’t entirely lucid, but as she lightly slept, she kept repeating the same motions over and over. Brushing her hair, pretending to apply eyeliner and lipstick. She’d lost her husband to Alzheimer’s 15 years earlier. Each time she woke up for a moment, she’d worriedly ask me for her watch as she played with her wedding ring.
Her death really scared me and gave me a lot of anxiety based on that experience. That's when the dreams started. It began with seeing my deceased grandfather at my childhood home.
He’d handed me a white dog and told me he couldn’t come in as my living grandmother entered. He told me he’d wait in the car and to look out for her. She’s started to show some signs of dementia since then.
I’ve had another dream with both my nana and him sitting in a garden with me, happily talking to one another. Another where I distinctly remember gardening with an older woman named Mary and her son mark. I ask my maternal grandmother and their deceased relatives, who indeed loved to garden and looked as I'd described, though I’d never met them.
Then, I start getting solid urges to contact different people. My mom’s client who’s going through a divorce, my mother’s biological father, a neighbor I remember playing with when I was a little girl.
The dreams start to turn into weird occurrences. I found a penny with my grandfather's death date the day I signed the lease for my new apartment.
Our yard goes from having mostly squirrels and doves to four to five cardinals, so much so that I take the sign and get it tattooed on my arm.
The most recent “new thing” is that I swear I have seen some white shadows. One at a neighbor’s funeral next to his father, another as I’m walking in from work that for a moment looked like my late childhood dog. Another was next to my paternal grandmother when I took her out to lunch.
I don’t know what’s happening, and I guess I have a lot of questions. Why is this happening now? Am I just being paranoid? How can I figure out what they’re trying to tell me? Any help is much appreciated.
