2024.06.01 09:38 MinesAPort Solar PV on 2 Phase
Hello hive mind! My second post on this topic as I needed to include pictures to help explain setup. submitted by MinesAPort to SolarUK [link] [comments] Asking for help from any multi-phase electrician who can help guide me if its possible to have all solar generation from two inverters available to the total power demand from my house. I believe I have two phases (unusual but old house) as seen under smart meter. This is then somehow split to serve my main house, my garage and air source heat pumps. The problem is that I have two PV arrays and I dont have the large array feeding my house. The power generation from a new array only seems to be feeding the air source heat pump demand rather than demand from the house. An old PV is serving the house. Help: Does this look like two phase, or somehow two feeds/fuses into one smart meter? Can I get total PV generation serving total power demand (house and heating)? https://preview.redd.it/r54hm5jiyw3d1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a425714913d3ea2f8dc110b9ea836ad2bd80fcac https://preview.redd.it/63n566jiyw3d1.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=273de9af213f1c33988859f4149d66fe806cbae2 https://preview.redd.it/57dxgrjiyw3d1.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c347eed3a4282ceeb8c7270ae88b0a3d5494cffd |

As a history enthusiast, I was excited to have this replica in my possession. The craftsmanship of the wooden and metal construction was impressive, capturing the essence of the era. However, my excitement soon turned into a slight disappointment when I realized that the rifle was just for decoration and didn't shoot. Despite this minor setback, the replica's ability to transport me back in time and provide me with a tangible connection to history was a positive aspect. The attention to detail and the dedication to preserving its historical significance made the Enfield Rifle a worthwhile addition to my collection. It's a great conversation starter and a visually stunning piece to display in any room. Nonetheless, I can understand how some collectors might be put off by the fact that the rifle is non-functional. While it doesn't impact the overall design and quality of the product, it may be a deciding factor for those looking for a functional replica. Overall, the Denix Replicas 1853 Civil War Enfield Rifle is an accurate and visually stunning representation of a bygone era, making it a valuable addition for any history enthusiast's collection. 🔗Authentic StG 44 Assault Rifle Replica for Collectors and Reenactmentshttps://preview.redd.it/i8si36k4kw3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a81dd92dfe40321011b76622d4e92b83340e9e47 Imagine owning a piece of history when you hold this stunning replica of the Denix 1125 StG 44 Assault Rifle. The attention to detail in this rifle is remarkable, from the wooden stock to the solid metal construction, all of which gives it that realistic weight and feel. The ejecting magazine and functional trigger and bolt mechanism create an authentic experience. You can even attach a shoulder sling on the cut-out in the stock! . In a world of theatrics and reenactments, this perfectly recreated weapon stands out. Whether you're a collector seeking a museum-grade piece or someone interested in historical replicas, this Denix replica is your go-to choice. Its quality and historical significance are unmatched. 🔗Realistic Mossy Oak Pump Shotgun Toyhttps://preview.redd.it/4zoha0y4kw3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1a4adcc20f29d17661c9637eb2039d4d473607d4 I was surprised by the excitement when I handed the Mossy Oak Pump Toy Shotgun to my 7-year-old son. The toy shotgun was a great size for him to play with without any worry about safety. The plastic was strong enough to withstand everyday rough play, which was a plus. One feature that stood out was the ability to eject shells with such a real-life pump action. This was something that made the pretend game even more entertaining for my son. Additionally, the toy offered realistic firing noises that added to the overall authenticity of the experience. However, there were a few issues that we noticed. Firstly, the quality of the plastic felt lightweight and could be easily mistaken for a real gun. Secondly, on occasion, the shells would fail to eject properly, causing some frustration for my son. Overall, the Mossy Oak Pump Toy Shotgun provided an enjoyable experience for my son when he was pretending to be a hunter or a soldier in a make-believe world. While I wish it was a bit stronger and had fewer issues with shell ejection, the excitement it brought to my son made it a worthwhile purchase. 🔗Authentic 18th Century Kentucky Rifle Replica for Outdoor Enthusiastshttps://preview.redd.it/vutfo0b5kw3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=51e695893494e1579b156fe58a8b5b8979f51ec1 I was able to get my hands on the Denix 1138 Kentucky Rifle Replica, and let me tell you, it's a beauty. With its historical accuracy and intricate details, it really takes you back to the late 1700s. The shorter version makes it perfect for my home, and it's quite impressive how far off the shot would have been without the "rifled" bore design! . However, I wish it could come with some additional safety features, as some of the moving parts are quite sensitive and may be accident-prone. Nonetheless, the Denix 1138 Kentucky Rifle Replica is definitely a standout for any history enthusiast or collector. 🔗Vintage Kentucky Long Rifle with Rifled Bore - Ideal for Hunting Enthusiastshttps://preview.redd.it/dzg94fs5kw3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=06070e11e33fdf3e989201fc5b1ea489a14504e7 The Denix Kentucky Long Rifle is a replica of an iconic firearm from the late 1700s, originally designed and built in Pennsylvania. It had a significant role in the Revolutionary War and continued to be popular until the 19th century, becoming synonymous with figures like Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett. The Kentucky rifle was one of the first to feature a "rifled" bore, making it more accurate for its time. My personal experience with this product has been a mixed bag. On the one hand, I found the Kentucky Long Rifle to be an incredibly accurate replica, complete with a smooth, realistic feel. It's an impressive conversation starter and adds a bit of authenticity to my display. The build quality is excellent, and it looks as close to the original as you can get. However, I've had some issues with the reliability and durability of the product. On a few occasions, the rifle arrived in less than optimal condition, with broken parts that made it difficult or impossible to fix without further damaging the item. This made me question the overall quality control of the manufacturer. In conclusion, the Denix Kentucky Long Rifle is undoubtedly a beautiful and historically accurate replica. If you can manage to get a well-maintained unit, it's definitely worth the investment. But, buyers beware: there have been reports of broken and poorly-made units, so it's important to be diligent and possibly consider purchasing in-person to ensure the product is up to standard. 🔗Vintage-Inspired Winchester Rubber Band Rifle with Rugged Wood Finishhttps://preview.redd.it/b5wuo486kw3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff82211df1deea070358d00d6bbafd1f0a68eedb The Magnum 1873 Winchester Rubberband Rifle is a nostalgic nod to the past, inspired by "The Gun that Won the West. " It mirrors the versatility and popularity of the original, making it a must-have for any cowboy-themed adventure. With a 28.5" gun length and a rubber band stretch of 16.5", this toy provides a fun, safe shooting experience for kids and adults alike. Though the ammunition isn't included, it's compatible with our BLUE rubber band ammunition, adding an extra layer of authenticity. Proudly made in the USA, this wooden rifle is not just a toy, but a piece of history that can be passed down for generations. 🔗High-Quality Canvas Shotgun Case for Outdoor Tactical Gearhttps://preview.redd.it/g2clcmm6kw3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1120b5ea3e52caf413ae78a5d7eb779afcac2808 As a reviewer who's tried the Evolution Outdoor Design EVODS Mesquite Shotgun case, let me share my experience. The case has a generous length of 50 inches, which easily accommodates my long-barreled shotgun. The quality of the canvas is top-notch, providing a sense of durability. However, one drawback I faced was its narrow width and depth, making it challenging to fit in one of my ten different shotguns. Despite this hiccup, I was impressed by the case's protective features and its reasonable price. Overall, it proved to be a useful accessory in my outdoor arsenal. 🔗Kotobukiya Shotgun Model Accessories for 15-20cm Figureshttps://preview.redd.it/kqc4vlw6kw3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e03038ad57970443f6f80fa5c49889b28c6f1be3 The Kotobukiya M. S. G Weapon Unit Shotgun Plastic Model Parts MW16R is a versatile addition to any collection of detailed accessories for modeling. It's designed for robots and figures within the 15-20cm size range, making it perfect for adding that extra touch of realism to your creations. I especially appreciate the customizable options for this weapon, which I found to be a refreshing and innovative feature for an item in this category. That being said, there were a few minor drawbacks. For one, the instructions could have been more comprehensive and clearer. Additionally, the price point might be a bit steep for some potential customers. However, overall, I would recommend this shotgun parts model to anyone in search of a high-quality accessory to complete their 15-20cm sized robot or figure collection. 🔗Pump Shotgun Set for Big Buck Hunter Arcade Gameshttps://preview.redd.it/nfum9c87kw3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55e548062098226ea6a4b6b7236c36a81a379b64 I recently got my hands on the Big Buck Hunter Pro Arcade Game Pump Shotgun Set, and I gotta say, it completely transformed my gaming experience. The two vibrant colors, green and orange, not only add a pop of color to the game but also make it easier for me to distinguish between my guns. One of the standout features of this set is its compatibility with a wide range of popular games like the Incredible Technologies, Raw Thrills, and Big Buck Hunter series. This versatility has made it an essential addition to my arcade setup, perfect for those intense gaming sessions with friends. However, while the green and orange guns can stand up to the rigors of high-use machines, I have noticed a bit of wear and tear over time, which is a bit of a downside. Overall, though, the Big Buck Hunter Pro Arcade Game Pump Shotgun Set has elevated my gaming experience, and I highly recommend it for fellow arcade enthusiasts! 🔗X-Shot Skins Dread: Double Barrel Blaster with Air Pocket Technology Dartshttps://preview.redd.it/rd0xvun7kw3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1cc2d827c81dedba3cbb8eb7ffacbcdebcac094e Embrace the thrill of customizing your blaster with the X-Shot Skins Dread Boom Blaster. Plus, you'll receive a randomly chosen toy from the brand, adding an extra layer of surprise to your experience. It's not just a toy - it's a lifestyle. 🔗US Model 1873 Replica Blued Finish Revolver for Collectorshttps://preview.redd.it/00p3en88kw3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2518062a1bb1ff1159c6c67b4d0d75e79849a6e7 I've been searching for a reliable replica for my cowboy collection, and I stumbled upon the Denix 1186B U. S. A. Model 1873 Replica. The first thing that caught my eye was the blued finish, which gives it a unique look that sets it apart from the rest. One of the main things I liked about this replica is its weight and balance, which make it feel very authentic. It's a bit heavy, but it gives it the right feel and makes it look like a real firearm. The wood grips are another great feature, adding a touch of class to the replica. However, there were a few drawbacks that I noticed. The cylinder's movement felt a bit clunky, and the ejector rod needed some smoothing out. But overall, these are minor issues compared to the price I paid for such a genuine-looking replica. One of my friends even said that it's so realistic that it's like having a real Colt at home. While it may not be perfect, it's definitely a high-quality replica that I'm happy to have in my collection. 2024.06.01 07:38 Pretty_Fishing_8243 QUACK GRASS, the only plant that will survive 6 nuclear holocausts, 3 asteroid collisions and a super volcano eruption. Stress less dear cockroaches you will have quackgrass.
Quack grass. I had no idea what the hell it was until I moved to south carolina. If an atomic bomb went off and decimated all life quack grass and cockroaches would survive, no doubt about it. Quack grass is the biggest pain in the ass I have ever encountered...well bamboo would be a close 2nd. submitted by Pretty_Fishing_8243 to lawncare [link] [comments] Quack grass looks like this ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️. There is next to nothing you can do to get rid of it. If it hides underneath rocks or bricks or edging. My friend bought a home that was easily neglected for 20 years the quackgrasd was so thick with the runners and rhizomes that when we got it I'm a four foot strip by 9 inches wide it was nearly a hardened 10 inches thick and weighed around 45 pounds. You can't simply pull it out. Don't do it don't do it. This requires an art and even this has error. I found that if any piece particle or molecule of this plant is left behind it just spawns another assh*le plant. These plants also have a throwing arm. It grows a branch off of its main body long loooooong arm, grows easily a foot in one day and it will pitch itself into a garden bed eventually landing on the ground. Then it's little hell spawn easily take out their concrete jack roots and have no problem compromising the hardest pickaxe like soil. The driest part of my yard robbed of due to the property water that strips this area of the nutrients the other parts enjoy, is no problem for quack grass. Hydrophobic soil on this end of my yard not too lousy for the population of this parasite. So there has been only two ways to kill this sucker that I have been able to find. It has been years in the making. Trying out different methods and there are only small periods of time when it works. These plants adore the hottest places of your yard. The black stepping stones or bricks in the boundary. Stepping stones. Concrete patio pads. Underneath sidewalks. It will burrow under these things and develop its root system underneath. It seems to be its preference. It enjoys 6 or more hours of sunlight. It's roots grow horizontally but also vertically. The vertical roots look jagged and zig zag enhancing their ability to be broken into zombie particles that grow many from the pieces.they have little cross wires that sprout up multiple plants. They go deep and wide and you just can't extract them.. impossible. So I got a flame thrower and a propane tank..its not a flame thrower but it has a long shift with a fitting that blows fire out of its tip. People in the last few years in appropriate areas with ample rain (not in fire prone areas) and using tons of precautionary measures taken yoy take yoyr torch and you can essentially cook them alive. After a week it will die like it does for winter months. This is when you dig the soil up around it flip the soil and you burn the under side also the cavity where the soil was extracted. Then wait two weeks. Do this same treatment for any emerging ones and repeat. When you are satisfied the next plan of attack is to get a kill all. Saturate this plant at highest sun, during the day on especially hot days. Saturate them. Try to be careful to not afflict the neighboring plant life. Kill all works by saturating the exposed parts these go into the plants cells and stops them from being able to absorb water and nutrients. Even so I have seen some think themselves into existence.. You could remove the soil down to 16 inches in the area they have been spotted and if any cement or bricks heat absorbing material is around dig it up and set aside..it loves rocks.. you get rid of this dirt. Comdem it. Or solar sanitize the dirt..put it in wet black garbage bag for an entire.summer in the hot sun. I'd triple bag it because these weeds are survivors. I would also use a junk cake pan to cook the soil over a bonfire for a few minutes. Larger piece of metal will work to stream lime the process. Male sure the center if the soil reaches 220 degrees. Adding water to the soil will definitely going to aid in steaming it dead don't saturate but squirt bottle wetting while it is cooking .them.you want to screen the soil. Get any parts out of the soil and throw in burn barrel or fire pit. The best method also kills your lawn grass but has really controlled the problem..I used kill all and before it could really emerge I saturated it and the area surrounding it with kill all. I sprayed any area I could remember it being.. it went down by 80% yet it has those underground channels and arms so it doesn't always afflict the entire plant. A surfactant ingredient (make sure it is safe to do so with your specific product) surfactants emulsify the poision and they adhere more to the plant..where it runs into the ground or evaporates quickly. Adding a surfactant can keep that demon weed choked out a little longer. Does anyone else have any success with this terror? I'd take a lawn of regular bushy crabgrass over this any day. A lawn of dandelions would be a godsend over any of this type of parasitic grass. I wonder if taking a tazer to the plant would kill it. I mean it is worth a try no? This weed can be cooked by a torch flame thrower burned to a crisp, the soil underneath can be cooked to a good 375 degrees in a matter of seconds, and by some ungodly supernatural miracle from hell this weed can will itself into existence off of a parboiled sandgrain particle of itself. I dare say I found something besides a tumor that can be of organic biological materials that doesn't really die? It's top bad it isn't a delicious food that could be sent to the most barren and inhospitable locations on the planet where people are starving to death and we could change their lives with this plant. Quack grass will be one of those plants that will be one of the major considerations before buying my next house. That is just how bad it is. I bet if it grows along the foundation of a home it is also doing damage to the foundation. This is almost like the habit of the plant, it's very nature is to find the fractures and weak spots and overgrow and stuff as many roots as possible through it until it crumbles. I haven't seen much in terms of experimentation with this parasite plant but I imagine there are a lot of qualities that could be exploited for our benefit. I donr know it's full range but there are qualities of this plant that could help on a lot of applications. Erosion, it would be more than ideal it has almost a rebar kind of root system and it just keeps sending.more and more roots along these pathways. Nit breaking u9 the soil but holding it in place. It is the ugliest looking plant there has wver been. Any ideas on what I could do? The spring poisioning worked better than anything this far. The burning seems to have eliminated new emergent particles I will know more as the time.goes on. Any experts on this type of quack grass? Can i kill it without killing the good plants or good grass? |
