The Pandering Brown Sisters Still Grifting
After a faulty start setting up a charitable tax-exempt organization in their deceased sister’s name, to support domestic abuse victims in late 1994, the Browns had appointed at the helm to run it a convicted violent domestic abuser and swindler. A 1995 Los Angeles Times article cited that….”the founding president of the Nicole Brown Simpson fund, records show, is a convicted felon and accused spousal batterer, who was once named in a domestic restraining order for posing a “clear and present danger” to his estranged wife and two children. Jeff C. Noebel, a 40-year-old Dallas businessman, is currently awaiting sentencing in U.S. District Court for lying to federal authorities in a savings-and-loan investment scam, one of his many shaky business ventures that have left a trail of bankruptcies and lawsuits from Texas to California.” Yet, the Browns pretended they did not know his background though Noebel stated that he had told them about the abuse charges, apparently his silver tongue offer to build them a successful, donation-seeking, organization was too juicy for the Brown family to pass up.
Yet, here we go again, the Brown sisters grifting during the 30th anniversary month of the OJ Simpson case in conjunction with the Lifetime cable network with the two-night streaming of The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson.
It should be an interesting dichotomy, since for 30 years someone has been lying. The father, Louis Brown, stated to the police detectives and later coroner’s investigator less than 12 hours after the murders occurred that his daughter, Nicole Brown Simpson, was last known to be alive the night before at 11PM talking to her mother, Juditha Brown, regarding glasses left behind by the mother at Brentwood’s Mezzaluna restaurant.
Two days later the mother would give the same time on two different occasions, first to the Simpson defense investigators, and then after they told Attorney Robert Shapiro, he would ask her himself what time that last call took place. Juditha Brown would tell Shapiro the same thing, that she talked to Nicole at 11PM on or about June 16, 1994.
When Shapiro asked how she knew it was 11PM she stated that when she arrived home from Brentwood that night she checked the clock and it said 11PM. However, within 7 months the 11PM last call would be changed, in another flim-flam slid past all of the American viewers whose attention was generally diverted to some tabloid unrelated event outside the courtroom. The time of the last phone call was changed in a low-key stipulation entered in open court and offered surprisingly by the defense team’s Robert Shapiro. He was now agreeing to accept a new time of 09:37 PM as the last call shown on an exhibit document, the Exhibit 35 POSTERBOARD claimed to represent the phone calls of Juditha Brown. The importance of the stipulation in California is that by their long-established state law it allows the evidence to circumvent examination by a jury.
This may be one of the most important tools to allow that state to have their notable celebrity show trials. Supposedly, all times on the Posterboard were accepted by Shapiro as his covering excuse to speed the case along since the Simpson defense lawyer was posturing that the prosecution witness, Karen Crawford, Mezzaluna weekend manager and bartender, could not accurately be certain of the final time anyway. So, the defense would simply accept the times shown on the posterboard, including the alleged phone call from Juditha Brown at 9:37 PM as seen in the blown-up section provided above. Defense lawyer Johnnie Cochran would do the same 5 months later and leave tell-tale evidence of their cooperative malfeasance as shown in the following video clip. https://youtu.be/Bk3Muy_MgJA?si=rDrtYy84pmfjapE0. This video clip of Cochran stumped OMIG investigators for about 7 years as to why he would enter what appears to be a false stipulation, until realizing based on other information that the Simpson trial and its malfeasance was to be utilized by Cochran for a more important trial he had lost where an innocent man, that was his client, would spend almost 29 years of his life behind bars as a result of Cochran’s naivety until Cochran could maneuver his release.
11 PM is important to this case because it places OJ Simpson in the backseat of a chauffeured limousine on its way to LAX for him to catch an 11:45 PM flight to Chicago while his ex-wife was still alive. The waitress, Tia Gavin, stated that the Brown party departed the Mezzaluna restaurant at around 8:45 PM, and now the last phone call from the Brown home in Dana Point, Orange County was at 09:37 PM approximately 52 minutes after departing Brentwood in West Los Angeles. Everyone, i.e. news commentators, highway patrolmen are on tape saying the distance was a 90 minute to two-hour drive between Brentwood and Dana Point, Orange County. This includes the two lead LAPD detectives, Phil Vannatter and Tom Lange, who stated in their book EVIDENCE DISMISSED below, that the drive was at least an hour and a half drive.
Since two of the Brown sisters were in the car on that fateful drive back home that night from L.A.’s Brentwood to Dana Point, someone is lying, and it certainly does not appear to be our side since all of the evidence appears to support our findings that the Brown family did not arrive home in approximately 45+ minutes. The highway data regarding traffic volume and density due to highway construction to build the HOV lane imply more like a 2-hour drive. This is what the data indicates the drive home for the Browns looked like on the southbound I-405 the night of June 12, 1994 between the hour of their departure from Brentwood between 8-9PM.
We at OMIG predict that the truth is going to ultimately catch up to all of these charlatans and grifters and expose them for this reckless and dangerous lie that they have placed before the public for the last 30 years sucking up all oxygen in the media space. The phone records were removed by court order from the Simpson case file to continue this lie so that the records could not be examined. However, these corrupt officials beyond the Brown sisters have continued to conceal the truth.
Several people pull this angelic cloak off of their unfortunate deceased sister, Nicole. Even Kato Kaelin, who Nicole invited to move into her pool guest house on Gretna Green before moving over to her condo on Bundy spoke in his book about Nicole throwing drug parties, where the party goers were making a bee-line upstairs, going up and down to the point Kato asked why. Someone pulled his coat during his recent meeting of Nicole as an invited guest to her party and told him “That’s where the cocaine is”. Kato who resided a year with Nicole and her children, would go on to state in his book that he witnessed Nicole becoming very belligerent and out of control when drinking too much tequila when out in social settings. Having to have the keys wrestled away by her girlfriends from preventing her being a drunk driver on the streets and highways. On one occasion it became so embarrassing with her being out of control that he simply left the gathering, which appeared to be par for the course for the Mousey looking house guest. He also accused Nicole the obsessive party gal of being a chain smoker; hence, he undermines the pristine image that the prissy Brown sister-grifters seem to be attempting to portray in all probability for the sake of making a dollar once again.
They knew that the so-called Bruno Magli shoe prints found in the sidewalk tiles did not fit Simpson’s foot, so they have attempted to conceal that until OMIG investigators examined the police photos and attained verification that the sidewalk tiles were only 11- and 1/2-inches square.
Because OMIG investigators stood firm during an interview with former FBI agents that one of their peers had lied about his true knowledge concerning Simpson’s foot in those size 12 Bruno Magli shoes, they in turn called back and provided OMIG with 53 pounds of documents some of which was associated directly with the Simpson trial indicating that the agent, Roger Martz, had been lying and committing perjury as it related to the blood the FBI lab was asked to examine. He wrote a letter back to the LADA’s office and the deputy DA who had asked for their help, Rockne Harmon, telling them that he, Roger Martz, had completed an examination of the blood samples of Simpson found on the back gate and blood of Nicole found on socks on Simpson’s bedroom floor. Martz said that he could find no contamination with the blood preservative EDTA. It appears that Martz lied, and was called out for his lies by other FBI examiners in the lab in a complaint filed with the Office of the Inspector General of the USDOJ.
That document, entitled by OMIG as the Whitehurst Complaint due to the author who filed it, former FBI Agent Frederic Whitehurst, became a hidden document as well one in which OMIG has filed at least 3 Freedom of Information Requests to attain from the Office of the Inspector General. This all is predictably going to unravel, and exposes the weakness of using the Brown sisters to promote a false narrative with its subtle yet powerful racial undertones to the detriment of so many more important events that have taken place over the last 30 years. This promulgation simply exposes the recklessness in doing something like that by exposing the soft underbelly of vulnerability as a national security threat to the nation by providing a cheap and cost effective tool to weaponize to fragment and polarize a nation, with that being the use of racial animus to create national mass hysteria.

Hi all, any coffee shops in West LA with good coffee/food, WiFi, outlets, and decently comfy seating that’s a good spot for studying? I am studying for the bar exam and am needing to get out of the house! Would be great if it’s somewhere not too crowded. Open until 4-5 or later is preferred. I know it’s hard to hit all these marks so any input is welcome!!! Thanks :)

When I first came across the Denix Replicas 1067 1853 Civil War Enfield Rifle, its authentic design and historical significance piqued my interest. As a history enthusiast, I was excited to have this replica in my possession. The craftsmanship of the wooden and metal construction was impressive, capturing the essence of the era. However, my excitement soon turned into a slight disappointment when I realized that the rifle was just for decoration and didn't shoot.
Despite this minor setback, the replica's ability to transport me back in time and provide me with a tangible connection to history was a positive aspect. The attention to detail and the dedication to preserving its historical significance made the Enfield Rifle a worthwhile addition to my collection. It's a great conversation starter and a visually stunning piece to display in any room.
Nonetheless, I can understand how some collectors might be put off by the fact that the rifle is non-functional. While it doesn't impact the overall design and quality of the product, it may be a deciding factor for those looking for a functional replica. Overall, the Denix Replicas 1853 Civil War Enfield Rifle is an accurate and visually stunning representation of a bygone era, making it a valuable addition for any history enthusiast's collection.

I've been using the Realtree Pump Action Rifle as a fun toy for my little one, and I have to say it has been a great addition to our collection! The pump action feature is super easy to use and adds to the realistic feel of the toy. One of my favorite things about this rifle is the realistic shotgun sounds, which make it even more exciting for my child.
The soft plastic shotgun shells are a nice touch, and they do eject when you pump the rifle to reload. This adds another level of realism to the toy and makes it even more enjoyable for my child to play with. I also appreciate that it comes with 4 shells right out of the box, which is perfect for getting started.
One downside I've noticed is that the pump action can be a bit tough for a little hand to operate, which can be a bit frustrating at times. Overall, though, I'm very happy with the Realtree Pump Action Rifle, and it has proven to be a great toy for my child.

The Marshmallow Pump-Action Shooter feels like a delightful twist on the classic Double-Barreled Shotguns. The highlight? . Shooting sweet marshmallows instead of bullets! .
It's a playful, unique toy that'll add some cheerful chaos to playtime. Despite the absence of actual bullets, it still has the pump-action feeling that makes it so appealing.
This shooter is officially licensed and made by the reputable Marshmallow Fun Co. , providing fun, safety and a dash of whimsy to any playdate or gathering. But, remember, it's not for real combat - it's just for firing marshmallows at your friends in a friendly, harmless way.
So, if you're looking for a funny, safe and engaging toy, then this is it! .

🔗Authentic Tubular Magazine Lever-Action Repeating Rifle Replica - Non-Firing

https://preview.redd.it/nu7d5a0u8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a7440706313ba7973ee54e31476efbd4caecde1
I've had the opportunity to use the M1866 Lever-Action Repeating Rifle myself, and I have to say, it's a real piece of history. The gun has such a powerful presence, it demands attention wherever you put it up. The gray finish certainly adds an antique touch, and the wooden stock is both sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.
One of my favorite aspects of this replica is the lever-action mechanism. It works just like the original, giving you a feel of the Old West right in your own home. And even though it's a non-firing version, it perfectly demonstrates how the loading system works.
However, there's one thing I would change. At 38 3/4 inches, it's quite a large piece to handle. Despite its grandeur, it can feel a bit unwieldy at times. But overall, this M1866 is a remarkable replica that captures the essence of the legend.

🔗Denix 1860 Henry Repeating Rifle Brass Finish Frame

https://preview.redd.it/0lei7f4u8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2f9c2ef3d19324b7865c552c8ff77cbbfda3f3fa
The Denix 1030L Old West Lever Action with a brass finish frame is a captivating replica of the Henry Repeating Rifle, a revolutionary design from the Civil War era. Standing at an impressive 42.5 inches long, this rifle has its original tubular magazine system and 24-inch octagonal barrel that once held 15 rounds of. 44 caliber metal cartridges.
The brass finish frame adds an authentic touch to this historical weapon and offers a robust feel when held. However, one must remember that although it looks and feels the part, it lacks the necessary components for actual firepower.
It serves as a striking conversation piece or a nostalgic reminder of the Old West, but it comes with its own set of challenges as well. Overall, the Denix 1030L offers a blend of history, aesthetics, and a bit of a learning curve for enthusiasts who appreciate the craftsmanship of the past.

🔗Genuine Beretta 1301 Double Barrel Shotgun with Looped Sling Attachment

https://preview.redd.it/hu11yz8v8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f6ddba2417a67a1e8c387249999e1f8eb9600d1
As a seasoned shotgun enthusiast, I found the GG&G LPD R SLNG Atch Brtta 1301 Tact to be a worthy addition to my weaponry collection. Crafted from the sturdy ASTM A36 steel, this shotgun confidently stands up to the pressures of combat. The bead blasted and manganese phosphate finish in matte black offers a sleek appeal that meets the Mil-Spec standards. The weight of 0.13 oz makes it a comfortable and portable option for any outdoor activities.
What makes this product stand out is the sense of pride and dedication in the "Made in America" tag. This sense of community is evident in the product's engineering and craftsmanship. However, on the downside, the 0.5 oz weight could be lighter for users who prefer even more portability without compromising the shotgun's functionality.

🔗High-Velocity Dart Blaster for Outdoor Fun

https://preview.redd.it/jvgvipev8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=555adede907942751d3d10b8c717898c34e07572
As a kid, I remember always being excited about blasters, so when I got my hands on the Buzz Bee Toys Air Warriors Over Under Double Shot, it brought back all those childhood memories. The design was simple yet effective, and the range was impressive. It could shoot up to 55 feet, which made it perfect for outdoor play.
One of the standout features was the double-barreled system, allowing you to fire two darts at once or separately. Plus, the fact that it didn't require any batteries was a great plus. However, the weight and size of the blaster could be a bit challenging for younger kids.
When it comes to quality, I must admit I had some doubts after hearing about some breakages from other users. But overall, I had a positive experience with the Air Warriors Over Under Double Shot Blaster. It's definitely a fun toy for anyone looking for some action-packed entertainment.

🔗Non-Firing Winchester Lever-Action Reproducible Rifle

https://preview.redd.it/1v48ourv8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=14901ac8d1b0c3acaee9abfb1b94baebd44d5b07
Recently, I had the opportunity to try out this replica Winchester 1873 rifle. As someone who appreciates the craftsmanship that goes into these reproductions, I was pleasantly surprised by the detail and weight of this piece. Holding it, you can feel the authenticity of the design, with its engraved silver finish and octagonal barrel that harkens back to a time when guns were crafted with precision.
However, one thing that stood out in my experience was the non-functioning mechanism. As a replica, it's expected that you can't actually fire it, but I was a bit disappointed that you couldn't simulate the loading process either. Other than that, I think it's an excellent addition to any collection, be it for aesthetic purposes or for use in photoshoots or performances. It certainly adds a touch of authenticity to any setting, and with its sturdy construction, it will likely last quite a while.

🔗Comprehensive History of British & American 410 Double Barrel Shotguns

As an avid shooter and collector, I stumbled upon this "American & British 410 Shotguns" book and was pleasantly surprised by its thoroughness and attention to detail. With its hardback binding, the book exudes a sense of durability and timelessness, making it a worthwhile addition to any enthusiast's library.
The publisher, F&W Publications Inc, clearly put in the effort to create a comprehensive guide, covering a wide range of makers, including well-known brands like Browning, Ithaca, Winchester, and lesser-known ones like Boss and Holland & Holland. The 2004 publication date seems to have provided a solid foundation for their research, with the book featuring a 125-year developmental history of the 410 handgun.
One aspect that struck me immediately was the book's generous page count of 208. This ample amount of space allows for fascinating insights and anecdotes that add depth to the content. However, despite its depth, I did notice a slight lack of illustrations, which may have been beneficial to better understand the various aspects of the featured shotguns.
Overall, I found the "American & British 410 Shotguns" book to be a valuable resource, with its unique blend of history, research, and practical insights making it a standout guide for anyone interested in the world of shotguns.

🔗Classic Old-West 410 Double Barrel Shotgun Toy Gun for Kids

https://preview.redd.it/wdp1muhw8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3f0bae755cb0753399665d4bb50affb1edcb740a
The Parris Toys Coachman Double-Barrel Shotgun Toy Gun for Kids takes us back to the Old West era in the most exciting way. With its realistic design, the toy gun quickly became my little one's favorite plaything during costumes and pretend play. The double barrel feature truly stands out, adding an extra level of authenticity to their make-believe adventures.
However, I do wish it were easier to switch between the two barrels - a minor inconvenience that didn't dampen the overall enjoyment of the toy. Its connection to American history also brought in some engaging conversation starters.

🔗Realistic 410 Double Barrel Shotgun for Ages 5+ with Ejecting Shells and 4 Shells Included

https://preview.redd.it/endym3xw8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa50fa2b4d0956ce68214940a1eb16635338362a
In my daily life, I've often found myself wishing I could relive the thrilling Western Legends experiences. The Double Barrel Shotgun has been the perfect companion on that journey. The realistic shotgun sound it produces is both exhilarating and immersive, transporting me straight into the midst of a Wild West showdown. With the 4 gun shells included, my Western experiences have never been more authentic and exciting.
However, the product has had its fair share of frustrations as well. Firstly, the age grading of 5+ can be a bit restrictive for some, as it leaves out a significant portion of potential users. Another drawback is the battery life; being limited to only AA x 2 (included) can be quite inconvenient during extended playtimes.
All in all, the Western Legends Double Barrel Shotgun has been a hit-and-miss experience for me. Its strengths lie in the realistic sound effects and the convenience of having the gun shells provided. Yet, it's let down by the limited age grading and battery life.

🔗410 Double Barrel Shotgun - 1866 Old West Collectible

https://preview.redd.it/8zz5ez7x8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a61da3f27a9f22178e2ddd88278ad8b3d5246466
I was excited to get my hands on the 1866 Double Barrel Derringer with Gold Finish, a classic replica gun inspired by William Elliot's design for Remington. What struck me immediately was its compact size, measuring only 5 inches overall - perfect for concealed carry in the old west. However, the hinged barrel required a bit more effort to open for reloading, making it slightly less convenient than I anticipated.
The weapon's engravings and faux ivory grips added an elegant touch to its functional design, making it a great display piece. I was pleased that it weighed like the real thing, which added to its authenticity appeal. Though it doesn't function, it definitely looked the part, which made it a compelling addition to my replica gun collection.
The icing on the cake was the price, which was surprisingly affordable for such an intricately detailed piece. I can see myself recommending this replica derringer as a gift or simply to add some flair to a collector's display. Just be prepared for the handling experience, as it might be a bit cumbersome for some users. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would love to add more of these relics to my collection.

🔗Historical French Carbine Rifle Replica with 28.75" Barrel Length

The Denix Replicas 1037 French Carbine Rifle Replica is a fascinating piece to have in your collection. This miniature 1763 Charleville musket replica, crafted in a carbine style, is a perfect representation of the original weapon that made a considerable impact during the Revolutionary War. Standing tall at an overall length of 45 inches and boasting a 28.75-inch barrel, this remarkable replica exudes the look and feel of the genuine article.
From my personal experience, I was genuinely captivated by its meticulous attention to detail - from the flintlock mechanism to the wood finish. It was an absolute delight to hold and examine closely, making it an excellent addition to any history or weapon enthusiast's collection.
However, the size might be somewhat challenging for individuals with smaller displays or limited storage space. Nonetheless, this seemingly small inconvenience doesn't outweigh the satisfaction one would get from owning such a historically significant and well-crafted piece.
Overall, the Denix Replicas 1037 French Carbine Rifle Replica is a must-have for anyone interested in exploring the rich tapestry of weapons history.

🔗Realistic Mossy Oak Pump Shotgun Toy

https://preview.redd.it/5q4pti0y8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3c9575c451452c91f5780622049a26715948867a
I was surprised by the excitement when I handed the Mossy Oak Pump Toy Shotgun to my 7-year-old son. The toy shotgun was a great size for him to play with without any worry about safety. The plastic was strong enough to withstand everyday rough play, which was a plus.
One feature that stood out was the ability to eject shells with such a real-life pump action. This was something that made the pretend game even more entertaining for my son. Additionally, the toy offered realistic firing noises that added to the overall authenticity of the experience.
However, there were a few issues that we noticed. Firstly, the quality of the plastic felt lightweight and could be easily mistaken for a real gun. Secondly, on occasion, the shells would fail to eject properly, causing some frustration for my son.
Overall, the Mossy Oak Pump Toy Shotgun provided an enjoyable experience for my son when he was pretending to be a hunter or a soldier in a make-believe world. While I wish it was a bit stronger and had fewer issues with shell ejection, the excitement it brought to my son made it a worthwhile purchase.

Recoil Reduction

Recoil reduction is an important feature for a 410 Double Barrel Shotgun, especially for beginners or those with sensitivity to recoil. Some shotguns feature built-in recoil reduction systems, such as rubber recoil pads or recoil-absorbing stocks. Consider investing in a recoil pad or stock for a more comfortable shooting experience.

Safety Features

A 410 Double Barrel Shotgun should have safety features to ensure safe handling. Look for manual safeties that can be engaged when the gun is not in use. Also, consider shotguns with a transfer-bar safety mechanism, which prevents the gun from firing unless the trigger is pulled completely. Safety should always be a top priority when selecting a shotgun.

Price and Budget

The price of a 410 Double Barrel Shotgun varies depending on its features, brand, and quality. Determine your budget and consider the features you prioritize when making a purchase. Remember, it's essential to invest in a reliable and high-quality shotgun for the best performance and safety.
When selecting a 410 Double Barrel Shotgun, consider factors such as action type, chamber size, barrel length, weight and balance, recoil reduction, safety features, and price. Research and compare various options to find the best fit for your needs and preferences. Remember to always prioritize safety when handling firearms.

2024.06.01 06:50 Flame_MadeByHumans Artists with a similar sound to CSN?

I absolutely love the folky singesongwriter sound of Crosby, Stills, and Nash, and specifically David Crosby’s solo work. Simon & Garfunkel are a good example too.
Mostly the acoustic/piano songs combined with the insane harmonies.
I know they’re the bar for this type of sound, but any artists in a similar vein? New or current artists would be awesome to find!

2024.06.01 02:23 Mostafa_HASSAN_0 Where to watch the ucl and ufc in mtl

French version will follow.
Hey guys, This June 1st, there is the ucl champion leagues final. And there is also a UFC fight. I was hoping to watch it with some friends at a bar or a sport bar or a restobar or anywhere but home. I know football/soccer is not as popular in mtl as other countries. Nonetheless. Does anyone know a good spot we can try ? West island or downtown or like around Decarie or cdn or Snowdon. Not too fare from those places.
Thank you very much everyone ❤️.

2024.06.01 01:56 Rhodeislandgangss RHODE ISLAND GANG VIOLENCE

GANGS VIOLENCE IN RHODE ISLAND
Today we talk about the gang activity violence and possible ramifications of these interactions. We will Jot-Down all the gang to gang wars and head on interference.
1.NorthSide Of Providence VS GMF(GET MONEY FAMILY) -my sources tell me this is a active very slow war no casualties in 4+ Years ,even then it leads the north side being up 1-0- “GMF Johnny “ was killed by a north side member who is currently incarcerated “Jamal” AKA “MAL” refer to the news article for more. 2.EastSide Providence Vs Pawtucket West Side My sources tell me this is a active war with very high interferences and fast paces-last casualties 1+ Year Ago- last shooting 3 months ago-(the first casualties point goes to the east side of Providence with them killing a member by the name of “Telly” this shooting happened at a nightclub and made the east side 1-0 now there hasn’t been any more casualties but there has been many shooting and each side scoring in that predicament. Including the non death shootings this would put the east side at 3-2.
3.east side of Pawtucket Vs West side of Pawtucket My sources tell me this is a active very slow war with no casualties (The east side and west side have played ping pong for some years now with fights, shootings and even a couple stabbings, (EAST ) member shooting west member in galago court and a (WEST) member shooting a (EAST) member at court but fortunately no casualties there has been no deaths leaving this slow war at 0-0 but still enough to be talked about because while casualties are slow it is very intense with the west side being a little more dominant in this matter
4.west side Pawtucket Vs Central Falls(Money team ) My sources tell me this is a very active and fast paced war with many casualties ( this is one of the most active wars with money team being on the down end of a 1-3 deficit and many more shootings and fightings with no casualties the first one will lead back many years ago with a money team member killing a Pawtucket member in Jenks park (Tone/MT) killed (hell/west) over a dispute. Shortly soon Pawtucket members shoot and kill (Musu/MT) no arrest till this day. Next,West members kill (Mo/MT) at a basketball court in 2020 and shoot another (MT) member in the head who survived then west members shoot and kill (MT) member (Leo/MT) and shoot another member(MT) in a parked car one casualties one survivor. There has been many more shootings and fighting’s that would put west of Pawtucket at a 9-4 lead without the surviving shootings it will drop to a substantial 3-1 with casualties.
5.Lblock(Lincoln Ave) Vs Pawtucket West My source says this is a very slow no casualties and maybe a non active war- (This war is worth the mention due to the fights and shootings (WEST) member shooting (LB) member at a party and a (LB) member shooting a (WEST) member at a basketball court but fortunately no casualties. Rhode Island boy had informed me that this war is a no longer active war but mentioned even though its possible it could no longer be a war it was a active ping pong)
6.Lockwood Bloods Vs Hanover crips My source tells me this is a very slow active war with no casualties- (Though there are no casualties is it a war with mentioning due to the shooting, stabbings and fights (JT/LW) shooting (TJ/west end) it has seemed to get very calm recently definitely blood shed on both sides
7.central falls/money team VS Lblock(Lincoln Ave) My source tells me this is a very active and on going war, potentially fast pace(there has been talks of one casualties with (MT) at the bottom end my source couldn’t inform me on this information it is a war worth mentioning due to the shootings, stabbings and fights (LB) member shooting (day day/MT)
Chad brown Providence Vs eastside of Providence My source tells me this is a very active and fast paced war The casualties are currently 4-0with the east side on the higher end my source was able to provide information indicating this is a active fast paced war (EAST ) member killing a (CB) member at a party 1-0 and then again a (EAST ) member killing a (CB) member at a corner store 2-0 then again a (EAST) member killing (CB) member jakey in the apartment complex then again a (EAST) member killing a (CB) member Eazy in the apartment complex again there were also many shootings with no casualties and stabbings as well
IF YOU WANT PART 2 GET ME 50 COMMENTS SO WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! PART 2 INCLUDES 10 MORE GANGS. THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT AND A BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE CCAP COMMUNITY RESTORATIVE CREW AND RHODE ISLAND BOY!! More attention bigger chance at keeping our community safe and getting these criminals behind bars !

2024.06.01 01:37 YouthereFixmypants Another Request for Vegas Recommendations

Hopefully this one is different enough to not induce a collective groan from the subreddit.
I have Google Maps and I have seen the 50+ posts listing all the favorite cigar bars in the city. I'm looking for something a little different. I have already been to many of the most popular spots like Casa Fuente, Davidoff, etc. and I'll probably visit some of them again while I'm there this time.
I'm staying near the Vegas Convention Center South and have relatively quick access to the monorail. I'm going for work and not looking to be blowing money on transportation, cutting fees and overpriced cigars. I will also be walking back and forth across the convention center buildings, so I'll be getting in my steps.
I'm bringing a bunch of cigars and I just want a place with a comfortable chair and some TVs to watch whatever game is going on. I don't care about being able to buy cigars and I would rather not pay a cutting fee every night I'll be there.
Can anyone recommend a good sports bar, piano bar, lounge, etc., that allows cigar smoking, no cutting fee, and is very close to any of the monorail stations? Not really looking for anything too fancy, just want to unwind after work. If they don't have TVs, I'm good with my headphones and cell. My go to for this kind of hangout used to be the Rhumbar, but it’s pretty far from the monorail and apparently permanently closed.
Thanks in advance!

2024.06.01 00:12 BettyBerlin [QCRIT] Query: Baldwin & Berlin, Upmarket, Adult, 130K

This is my first attempt at a query so apologies for any egregious missteps! Let me know if I'm on the right track?
Dear Agent,
While the beatniks were taking over Soho, the rest of the literati were sticking to the old-school glamour of Zairo’s Bar - one-time Hemingway haunt. When two writers meet on a fateful evening, they set in motion a love which will span years, continents and half a dozen marriages.
Christopher ‘Kit’ Baldwin is old-Alabama-money with a gift for the gab; and Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Berlin is the daughter of a minor lord, with an eye for characterisation. Together, they make magic.
As their stars rise from the West End, to Broadway to Hollywood, Betty tries to resist the married Kit - afraid to jeopardise their working relationship, even as they keep falling back into bed together. Eventually, Betty gives respectability a shot; marrying a big-time movie producer and Kit marries another woman.
A decade in, their timing – at last – clicks and they take their relationship from an open secret to marriage. There follows a couple of years of bliss – but at a cost: their writing, usually so taut with sexual tension and excitement, falls apart.
BALDWIN & BERLIN is an upmarket novel complete at 130,000 words with multiple POVs. Its glamorous, mid-century setting will appeal to fans of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, while exploring themes of creative partnerships tangled with love, which grabbed readers of Lauren Groff’s Fates and Furies and Gabrielle Zevin’s Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow.
Baldwin & Berlin is my first novel, which began as a short story during my Creative Writing Masters at the University of Cambridge. A communications professional, I am a Brit living in Bermuda, with an Australian husband and a murderous elderly cat, in a cottage by the sounding sea.
First 300:
PROLOGUE
Years after the fact, there is a photograph published in a special edition of LIFE magazine. Those who pick it up invariably find their eyes drawn to one picture in the centre spread. It takes a moment to reconcile their faces, their full names to the famous double act that was Baldwin & Berlin.
Her face is too small for the sunglasses she wears. The sharp angle of her chin juts out below the frame, doll’s mouth set off by the expanse of black glasses and wide dark hat. One hand up by her eyes, blocking out the sun, the other flopped over her bent knees, book in hand. Everything about the pose seems calculated, from the cross of the ankles, knees together to protect her modesty whilst tilting her chest towards the camera: the defiant upwards slant of her jaw.
He is laying back, hands folded across his flat stomach, eyes narrowed against the light. Hair and skin tone nearly matching in sepia tones: golden boy. There is a slight sneer, it seems, on his lips, though it may be the beginnings of a word. Paper sprawled messily across his lap.
There would be no mistaking the photo for now: there is a heightened glamour about it that no clever lighting or computer programme could hope to reproduce. A kind of confidence in their manner not found today, with no concern for the creases in their swimsuits, the occasional wrinkle of fat. There are no forced smiles here: a photo of those who were always posed.
The abused manuscript that lies in his lap is the final draft of the last script from Baldwin & Berlin. You can’t help but think that had he known, he might have treated it with a little more respect. But how was he to know that after twelve years of success and laud and honour, the game was up?

2024.05.31 23:50 MissionPreference676 33f summer is finally here!

Hi, ash a 33f in New west. I'm a sunny person who is looking for new gal pals around my age and older. Some significant things of note about me:
I'm have a bullshit office job that gives me lots of time to study, read and watch youtube/Netflix. So if you also have a bullshit job hit me up! I have so much time to kill during my work days I'm considering going into making video essays for youtube with my wife 😅
I like being active and working out but I'm in recovery for a injury. I injured my Achilles tendon so I have been avoiding high impact activities. I love dancing but zumba and my switch dancing game aggravate my tendon too much. I have been considering trying ballet bar or pole dancing classes in hopes they are fun and less stressful on my leg so if you have an opinion or know another form of low impact dancing let me know!
I love swimming and going to the beach! I work close to kits beach and would love to be there basically every day it is hot enough to swim. So if you live or work around here let me know since it is so much for fun to go with other people. There is also a new swimming pool in New west I haven't been to yet but for the summer I would prefer the beach.
I am semi crafty. I got into sewing last year but haven't used my sewing machine much this year. I have been working on some hand embroidery stuff but am still very much a baby at it. Hand embroidery is easy to take with you to a coffee shop and chat unlike sewing
Anywhere those are some prompts and ideas. I have had mixed results on this subreddit so I hope this is a success again. I made three wonderful friends here last year!

4. The Grascals in Concert Little River Bluegrass Barn, Radford Friday, May 31, 2024, 7:00 - 10:00 PM General Admission: $30.00, Reserved Tickets: $35.00 Great musicians will always find a way to make good music, but for great musicians to make great music, they must form a bond – one that, more often than not, goes beyond the purely musical to the personal. For The Grascals, that bond has been forged at the intersection of personal friendships, shared professional resumes and an appreciation for the innovative mingling of bluegrass and country music that has been a hallmark of the Nashville scene for more than 40 years. Their cutting-edge modern bluegrass is delivered with a deep knowledge of, and admiration for, the work of the music’s founding fathers. Timely yet timeless, The Grascals make music that is entirely relevant to the here and now yet immersed in traditional values of soul and musicianship. It’s a unique sound that has earned three Grammy® nominations and two Entertainer of the Year awards from the International Bluegrass Music Association, as well as national media attention that seems to perpetually elude acts entrenched in niche genres. Such appearances include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Fox & Friends, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and CBS’ The Talk. The Grascals have over 200 guest appearances on the Grand Ole Opry to their credit and have also performed on the revered stages of Radio City Music Hall, the Ryman Auditorium and the Kennedy Center as well as music festivals such as MerleFest, Stagecoach, and the CMA Music Festival. In addition to performing across the United States and Canada, the awarding-winning band has traveled the world to take bluegrass music to Japan, Greece, France, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, and Belgium. 2024.05.31 22:47 haleaux Illinoise – Nerd Review Ep 6

Illinoise

This review is of the musical Illinoise which is currently playing at the St. James Theatre in NYC. Please see the latter portion of this post for “Review Structure” and “Context” descriptions, which may add helpful background to this writeup.
Impression: This show takes the audience on whimsical journey of music and movement, all without a single line of spoken dialog. While not a traditional musical, the cohesive combination of dance, score, and tech provides for an engaging and remarkable experience. This show is a strong candidate to be added to my recent “Shows I love” list. However, I do think this show may not be for everyone, and that some may find that they do not connect with the concept of the show.
Watch check: Zero times. At no point during the show did I find my mind wandering.
See again: Yes. I hope I have a chance to see this show again. I believe in a second viewing I would catch more of the subtle aspects of the production.
Music & Lyrics: I was not familiar with Sufjan Stevens or the Illinois album) prior to this show. By the third song “Come On! Feel the Illinoise” I was completely hooked. I am listening to the album as I write up this review and am thoroughly enjoying it. After listening to the source music, I am even more impressed by the orchestration. I loved the interplay between piano and synth. The wind instruments were both showcased and provided ornamentation at other times. I loved the 4-mallet vibraphone action! I particularly liked the score coming full circle with a variation on the opening melodic theme at the end of the show. The score is undoubtedly the heart of this show.
Story & Book: This show does not have a traditional book, as the story is entirely told through dance and the singers’ words. I will admit that up until the first campfire scene I was a little lost. It then quickly became apparent that the show was about a group of friends sharing stories, from whimsical to heartbreaking. The story worked for me given that the integration was so tight with the music and the movement.
Set & Props: The set was simplistic and was almost entirely static, and the production had limited use of props. I liked that the orchestra and singers were elevated and on stage for the entire show. This is not the type of show that needs an elaborate set or props to effectively and engagingly tells a story.
Costumes & Makeup: I do not recall anything particularly notable about the costumes and makeup, beyond the butterfly wings worn by the singers.
Movement: Of all aspects of theater dance is the one area I know almost nothing about from a technical perspective. I feel at a disadvantage in my writeup due to this lack of knowledge. With that said, from this uninformed observer’s perspective the dancing was incredible. There were different styles of dance and I seemed to enjoy each of them. The combination of movement and music effectively told the story without dialog. To me that is an impressive feat.
Tech: As soon as I sat down, I noticed the sparse number of light fixtures above the stage. Only a few electrics were present, which is a striking difference from many other current productions (e.g., I think Hamilton has around a dozen, which I know is an extreme case). While the light design did not include as many lights as would be typical, the equipment present was used incredibly effectively. The nomination for best lighting design for this production is fully justified. Projection was used sparingly to illuminate the billboard; this did provide useful context for the current story being told. The sound mix was balanced, and the EQ was spot on. The tech was not the star of this show, it did everything possible to support the movement and music aspects.
Cast: There were absolutely no weak links in the cast. Rather than cover the entire cast I have listed a few that drew my attention for one reason or another, shown in no particular order.
Seating: I suspect that nearly all the important action is viewable from every seat in the theatre, since the set is located mid-stage and corrals the dance downstage. There may be a few points where the far rear mezzanine might have an obstructed view of ensemble members, but I do not believe that would significantly impact viewing of the show.

Review Structure

I am systematic in my approach to assessing shows. During a performance I am in the moment, but at intermission and after the show I often write down an outline of my thoughts. Typically, I’ve used these notes to help me re-experience the shows long after the curtain call, but now these notes are the base material for the review in this post.
Each review is divided into categories, and each category is described below. I am a bit of a theater tech nerd, so don’t be surprised if those topics are emphasized compared to most reviews in Broadway (though I am not an expert and welcome corrections from the true experts here).
Show Name & Link: The name of the show with link to the show’s playbill.com page (if applicable) for quick access to cast, schedule, and host theater information.
Impression: This is a summary of my overall thoughts on the show.
Watch check: This is the number of times I felt compelled to check my watch during the show (don’t worry there is no backlight to distract/annoy others if I were to actually look at my watch). If the show drags or is uninteresting, I usually shift my attention to other things like tech or costumes, but eventually my brain subconsciously gravitates toward wanting to know the time. I've found this to be a reliable indicator for how engaging the show is for me. An engaging show is “0 times”, and a dragging/rough/bad show could be “6 times” or more.
See again: This section describes whether I would see the show again and how much I might be willing to spend on another ticket. However, this isn't always an indicator of show quality, since I tend to only want to see heavy topic shows just once, no matter how good it may be (e.g., Parade).
Music & Lyrics: This covers the music, lyrics, orchestra, and conductor of the show. There is overlap with the next category for sung-through shows.
Story & Book: This covers the dialog and story of the show. Comments about show pacing will usually appear here, if applicable.
Set & Props: The category is focused on the set components, lifts, rigging, turntables, stage wagons, drops, curtains, props, and puppets. There is often overlap with the “Tech” and “Movement” categories.
Costumes & Makeup: Here I would cover anything notable about what is worn on stage. Some shows have extravagant makeups/costumes and other shows do not. Both are okay, as long is it all fits the show vibe.
Movement: This section covers blocking, choreography, acrobatics, and scene transitions. Transitions can do overlap with the “Tech” section.
Tech: This covers tech aspects including lighting, sound, projection, displays, video, etc. One aspect I am likely to comment on here are missed mic queues (i.e., a performer’s mic was not unmuted in time, or less commonly left open too long). Few things take me out of a show faster than quite/undiscernible dialog or having the sound level jump mid-note.
Cast: This category covers the cast of the show. There will usually be a general comment about the overall cast, and then several cast members or roles will be specifically called out as being notable, for better or worse. Standouts here could be anyone that caught my attention, from Broadway royalty to the smallest ensemble role.
Seating: This is an attempt at indicating how "bad" partial view seating may be for the show. Sometimes I see shows from partial view seats, sometimes I pay for a prime center orchestra seat (and everything in between). Either way view restrictions can be roughly assessed based on where the action occurs on stage. My goal is to assist those that are on the fence about the potential drawbacks of typical rush, lottery, and TDF tickets.

Context

Approach: Since theater is subjective, like any art form, my goal is that by providing context my reviews might have increased meaning. If your likes and dislikes align with mine then perhaps what I write may help you decide between shows to see, for example. If your tastes are drastically different than mine my hope is that I do not mislead you into thinking you’ll like a show that you ultimately do not.
About me: I am a theater enthusiast, attending shows produced on world renowned stages but also touring shows, regional productions, and community theater. Musicals are my thing, but I also appreciate plays and operas. Many years ago, I did have amateur time on stage in plays, musicals, and one-acts. Later, I worked semi-professionally back-of-house as a stagehand, spotlight op, lighting designer, and sound/light board op for more shows than I can remember. However, my longtime profession since that time has essentially nothing to do with theater. Also, I do not live near the east coast but am fortunate to travel frequently to keep up with most new Broadway shows, as well as a non-trivial number of the productions in the Washington DC area.
Shows I love: This is a list of shows I’ve seen in the past few years that are standouts; the intent is not to gloat about all the great performances I’ve seen, but instead to give a rounded impression of the types of shows I gravitate towards. If this list does not resonate with you, my reviews may be of lesser value to you. All shows listed are the most recent Broadway production unless otherwise noted. * Aida (Sydney Opera House) * All The Devils Are Here (Off-Broadway) * Beetlejuice * Boop! (Chicago) * The Bridges of Madison County (Signature Theatre) * Come From Away * Company * Dear Evan Hansen * Fat Ham * Good Night, Oscar * Hadestown * Hamilton * Here We Are (Off-Broadway) * King Lear (Shakespeare Theatre Company) * Les Misérables (West End) * Little Shop of Horrors (Off-Broadway) * Macbeth (Shakespeare Theatre Company) * Newsies (Wembley Park) * The Outsiders * The Phantom of the Opera * The Rocky Horror Show (Melbourne) * Some Like it Hot * Spamalot (Kennedy Center) * Suffs * Sunset Boulevard (Kennedy Center) * Swept Away (Arena Stage)
Shows I don’t love: These are shows I’ve seen in the past few years that I did not particularly enjoy, for a variety of different reasons. For reference I have never left a show before its conclusion even if I didn’t like it. These shows are not necessarily bad, and in most cases, they just don’t align with my theatrical preferences. If this happens to be a list of your favorite productions, it is probably best to save your time and stop reading this post now. * A Beautiful Noise * Aladdin * Chicago * Funny Girl * MJ * Mrs. Doubtfire (US Tour) * New York, New York * Once Upon a One More Time * Perfect Crime (Off-Broadway) * Six * The Who’s Tommy

2024.05.31 22:24 Tron_Little Did Gallery Bar close?

I just discovered this little piano bar like a week ago and was planning on checking it out this weekend, but their social media has all been deleted and Google says they're permanently closed.
Anyone know if that's accurate? If so, any recommendations for live piano bars in Phoenix?

2024.05.31 20:17 stress789 A Little Write Up of Things To Do In CLE

I copied my comment from another post because it seemed people enjoyed the write-up. Not sure if I convinced OP's gf to visit Cleveland over Chicago, but for my fellow friends in the CLE:
We have fun museums:
Wine?
Beaches/Water
Shows?
Good food? Check out these areas:
Going out?
Breweries? There are tons!
Oldest bar in Cleveland? (Lovely little dive)
Pretty architecture?
World's largest outdoor chandelier?? Yeah we have that. Visit the theater district
Rollercoasters?
Jump, hop, + a skip away from beautiful islands!
Walking/Hiking
Random fun Cleveland foods you should try:
And I'll plug my personal favorite Cleveland event: https://www.clevelandart.org/events/parade-circle
P.S: this was originally a comment on a post about a user visiting Cleveland from SF, so some of the activities are a bit far from Cleveland but I feel worth considering if coming from that far! This is also not a comprehensive list because I am just simply one person :) please add suggestions of your fave spots to the comments
