Despite some seemingly impactful unbans this past round, players were mostly content to play with cards that have been legal for a while already. Its not like they saw no play, with 3 decks submitting them overall, but only one made finals and none made top 4.
In first place we have Subnova with The Millennium Calendar + Yavimaya + Maze of Ith! Maze of Ith was very well positioned this round, and with a finals full of single threat decks and creature removal, Calendar was able to capitalize on that. Congrats on the first place finish!
In second place we have MirrorMeddle with Solitude + Court of Grace + Fountain of Cho! Leveraging slow value from a storage land alongside Solitude is a time-tested strategy, and Court of Grace is a cool source of inevitability. Congrats on the second place finish!
In third place we have WillWorkForSugar, with Maze of Ith + Icatian Store + Angel of Sanctions! Similar to our second place finisher, the deck looks to leverage a storage land but rather than playing threat + removal, it takes a more interactive approach, which was good enough to earn third place!
In fourth place we have lpaulsen with The Wandering Emperor + Maze of Ith + Fountain of Cho. The third deck in the top 4 to use Maze of Ith and the third in the top 4 to use a white storage land, these players all were more or less on the same page: slow down the game and the win late. The Wandering Emperor was a solid choice, and they definitely earned their fourth place finish!
Next Round
Bans:
- The Millennium Calendar: This card was already a bit hard to justify without good Sol lands, and with Maze of Ith also leaving, your remaining options to use Calendar with would be rather slim. Probably won't have a big impact on the meta.
- Solitude: Obviously a powerful card, this is as good a place as any to mention that MH3 arriving will more or less upend the format, and I don't think Solitude would be very good in the post-MH3 meta anyway. With Ajani bringing 2 bodies as a powerful 2 drop and White Orchid Phantom giving players an excellent reason to bring two threats that also can destroy lands, Solitude was likely to be absent from the meta for a while regardless.
- Maze of Ith: Like with Solitude, this an obviously powerful card, which once again would probably have been shut down pretty well by cards like Ajani and White Orchid Phantom. This and Solitude were also pretty good against depths, so maybe it gets slightly more breathing room post-MH3? I wouldn't hold my breath.
- The Wandering Emperor: Probably the best planeswalker in the format and a very solid option for white depletion decks, but I don't think it will be too hard to find a different white card to slot into your storage land decks if you need a threat.
Unbans:
- Tarnished Citadel: Death's Shadow is back on the menu, unfortunately. One of the best one drops in the format, it demands respect from all players looking to compete in this coming round.
- Aether Vial: This has enabled some cool stuff in the past, most notably Force of Vigor decks and t3 Myr Superion. While I don't see it doing too much into the MH3 meta, I think people are gonna forget this is legal and then it will suddenly win a round in 5 or so rounds from now.
- Swarm Shambler: One of the other best 1 drops in the format, being both a Chronomaton with relevant additional upside is just super strong. Easily displaces Cruel Sadist as the go-to 1 drop for decks that just want a generic 1 drop, though Death's Shadow can fill that role to some extent as well.
- Inkmoth Nexus: Manland quality has been rather lacking lately with just Blinkmoth Nexus holding the fort for the mox + manland options, so this should hopefully give 2 drop decks the shot in the arm they need to perform a bit better, though I suppose that they MH3 cards didn't really need the help. Still glad to see it though.
Modern Horizons 3
Starting this round, cards from both Modern Horizons 3 and its related commander set are legal! Make sure to factor that into your submission, there's a lot of powerful stuff that warrants paying attention to.
Unban Voting
We're voting on whether or not to unban Retrofitter Foundry and Anointed Peacekeeper. Don't forget to vote if you wish to see either card unbanned.

2024.06.05 07:28 InferiorLynxi_ How old am I based on my desktop?
2024.06.05 07:18 _y2kbugs_ [PC] [CD-ROM] [Early 2000s, Windows XP] Isometric maze/puzzle adventure-like with a green dragon (or gator)
First just wanted to say
I was inspired by this post where the person made a recreation of a game they're trying to remember, and it both made me remember I had a game like that too I've been trying to find for years-- even has a similar vibe, I guess? Anyway I also recreated it, but with just clip studio paint and my tablet so it's not as polished.
Here it is. Platform(s): Windows XP PC, CD-ROM most likely
Genre: Puzzle, isometric platformer, adventure
Estimated year of release: Early 2000s...Maybe 2003?
Graphics/art style: Very early 3D look, going through MyAbandonware the closest matches I can find visually are
Das Verruckte Labyrinth and
Dinosaur Dave in Fantasia which is an EXTREMELY close match but I am certain is not it.
Notable characters: Either a green dragon or alligatocrocodile. Honestly I remember it looking similar to
Croc but shorter and fatter. Not too sure on personality, could have been generic hero.
Notable gameplay mechanics: I believe you needed to find your way out of this maze-like area, you had to collect orbs (or they were something else but I remember them being round) in order to unlock certain sections, and you had to collect keys as well. I think there was also a mechanic about rescuing your friends?
Other details: The... "skybox" I guess you could call it was this big, blue sky with fluffy clouds, and if the character wasn't careful he could fall through and it's game over. That is about the extent to what I can remember. The recreation art I made is pretty much the best visualization I can give, even if the art is sloppy (I made it late at night, sorry.)
It is not Croc for sure, and does look very similar to the Dinosaur Dave example but is definitely not that either.

2024.06.05 06:51 m1ce-on-venus Odd video game nightmare?
I this dream I was playing a video game (possibly a 3ds game because I remember the buttons) though It was like I was physically in the game at the same time, like I could physically look around at my surroundings. Like a VR headset.
I don't remember much of the plot, but I do know it was set up almost like a white maze, except with rooms and sometimes littered things like vegetation.
Honestly, if anything, the vibes remind me of a older horror game. like earlier silent hill but with no in-game textures.
I met this nice woman in the maze. Dark hair, pale, white apparel, blue eyes.
I put down my game, and come back.
I open the game up and it gets realistic all of a sudden. No longer pixelated. The lights in the maze slowly turn on. I circle the corner and this young woman, once low poly and pixelated, is realistic. She staring at me for a good minute. it was pretty uncanny. And then, she just starts screaming.
I hold back her face because it was like she was trying to kill/bite me or something?? Not sure. Then I wake up. I'm disturbed.

2024.06.05 06:23 100yearsdungeon Mythic with 4-color Uro/Oko
| I was struggling the first two days of this season, stuck going back and forth between the first two tiers of Platinum no matter what deck I tried. I decided I wanted to try out a more control-oriented deck (but not Lurrus Dimir - those games go way too long). I started with a Bant version, but ended up with this 4-color Uro/Oko deck, and it did really well. I flew through Platinum and Diamond. My last win was against one of the most difficult match-ups: Titan Field. I had a lot of fun brewing it and working on the sideboard as I played through the ranks. It's still a work in progress. I added Strict Proctor towards the end of Diamond, and it did work in the last match against Titan Field. I feel like Timeless still has room for brewing (while still winning), which is cool. It's the best format on Arena. Hopefully, that won't change with MH3. Any thoughts/suggestions? https://preview.redd.it/p6xobxmjio4d1.png?width=4480&format=png&auto=webp&s=3c7318be52d5f3e9d9bf8ea1c621d2781103f3b6 https://preview.redd.it/whdl9smjio4d1.png?width=4480&format=png&auto=webp&s=8f9c2c95f4e351ef133fc7ac91ea0448db261d78 https://preview.redd.it/bwhx7tmjio4d1.png?width=4480&format=png&auto=webp&s=b4fd367c3cc703eb0dc381d5dbfcd2d1436a949f Deck 3 Oko, Thief of Crowns (ELD) 197 2 Counterspell (STA) 15 4 Orcish Bowmasters (LTR) 103 4 Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath (THB) 229 4 Mana Drain (OTP) 11 4 Swords to Plowshares (STA) 10 3 The One Ring (LTR) 246 4 Deathrite Shaman (RTR) 213 4 Leyline Binding (DMU) 24 1 Forest (UST) 216 1 Island (UST) 213 1 Plains (UST) 212 2 Flooded Strand (KTK) 233 4 Polluted Delta (KTK) 239 2 Breeding Pool (RNA) 246 1 Watery Grave (GRN) 259 2 Hallowed Fountain (RNA) 251 1 Overgrown Tomb (GRN) 253 1 Meticulous Archive (MKM) 264 1 Hedge Maze (MKM) 262 4 Misty Rainforest (MH2) 250 1 Xander's Lounge (SNC) 260 1 Spara's Headquarters (SNC) 257 1 Undercity Sewers (MKM) 270 4 Brainstorm (STA) 13 Sideboard 3 Veil of Summer (M20) 198 2 Test of Talents (STX) 59 2 Surgical Extraction (OTP) 19 3 Fragment Reality (Y22) 4 3 Strict Proctor (STX) 33 1 Deafening Silence (ELD) 10 1 Unlicensed Hearse (SNC) 246 submitted by 100yearsdungeon to TimelessMagic [link] [comments] |

2024.06.05 05:12 ramenroaches How do I survive the new map? (I have a skill issue)
Title basically. I adore it's design and I love the concept so much. But it feels like I get downed, hooked and killed in the first three minutes. It feels small despite being like a maze. I know I'm just a bad player (cause I got slow reflexes) but I've usually escaped most of my games.

NOTE: If you see a SteelBook in my posted pics that is
NOT LISTED as for sale in this thread, it has already been sold. I am re-using the pics from my earlier For Sale Threads. All SteelBooks (unless otherwise noted) have been opened and digital copies have been redeemed. While a majority of these SteelBooks are sold out/out of print, my prices reflect that they are opened. I’d say 95% of my collection are “mint”/in good shape. Some have minor dents. As mentioned above, I’m liquidating my collection, which means they are priced low for a quick sale. As such, prices are FIRM. I know most (if not all) of these SteelBooks in my collection are sold-out/OOP and I could ask for more but I’m not trying to price gouge anymore.
RANT: I would prefer to sell to collectors who actually want these SteelBooks in their collection and my have missed out on them the first time, and I believe that most of my past purchasers fall in this category. However, I have seen some buyers take advantage of my low prices and engage in arbitrage (I won’t call out who these buyers are) and are trying to flip them for twice what I sold them for. I know that once I sell an item it is no longer mine and the new owner can do whatever they want with it, but I don’t have to like it. RANT OVER. Due to the size of my collection (now thinned down by previous sales) , I don’t have time to go through each SteelBook, but if you send me a Chat request, I can send pictures and look over them more in-depth. Not trying to price gouge anyone.
SHIPPING COSTS WILL BE BASED ON MEDIA MAIL, WHICH IS THE MOST ECONOMICAL AND SAFE METHOD AS IT ALLOWS ME TO BUBBLE WRAP EACH STEELBOOK INDIVIDUALLY AND SECURELY.

2024.06.05 02:54 Ravens_Fan_16 Favorite star in Wet-Dry World?
My favorite swimming level in the game. I voted for "Go to Town for Red Coins" as it was one of the more challenging red coin stars in the game. I like how this star incorporates different platforming moves in order to collect the coins. Also, there's something unsettling about the downtown portion fo the level that makes it very memorble to me.

2024.06.05 02:46 PendragonLXVI Mod Idea: Bleak Falls Barrow Reimagined
Hi Yall,
So I've been modding skyrim for the past few months and been going through all the different mods for skyrim that improve many aspects of the game, but one area dawned on me that never seems to have any mods or changes to it, Bleak Falls Barrow.
Now yes, I know there are some that change up some of the scenery around Bleak Falls Barrow, but they preserve the same gameplay and iconic layout to the overall dungeon. The only mod I've seen change up the dungeon layout is Bleak Falls Barrow - Revisited. It's a great mod, though the way the dungeon is redesigned feels a lot more open and complex. You could skip entire areas and it ends up feeling like a maze. I always felt there was something satisfying about having a linear route through the dungeons. Almost as if you feel yourself progressing and getting deeper and deeper into the heart of Bleak Falls Barrow.
I know some people might be thinking, blasphemy, Bleak Falls Barrow is too iconic, it shouldn't be changed. And I understand that. It has been the very first dungeon the majority of us ever explored and clearly holds a sacred place in our hearts. However, on subsequent playthroughs, Bleak Falls Barrow does become quite repetitive. We have all played through it a dozen times now, it loses part of its wonder. Not to mention the fact the dungeon is extremely easy due to the fact it was built as a "tutorial" dungeon. When playing with alternate start mode, its really not challenging when out level 15 character eventually decides to do the main quest line.
Here what I suggest, and I'm tempted to give this a go myself. A complete redesign or remaining of Bleak Falls Barrow from the ground up. Upping the difficulty slightly, adding new areas seamlessly, increasing the lore and narrative behind the bombarding bandits led by Arvel the Swift. Fleshing out the spider's lair and the lore beind the tablet buried at the centre of the dungeon.
If anyone has any ideas for areas that cluld be improved or changed for Bleak Falls Barrow, let me know int he comments. Perhaps areas you hated or felt dull, or any ideas you think would work in the context of the dungeon.

2024.06.05 02:46 elezet4 [PC][1990s] A graphical adventure/puzzle where the main character would die pretty graphically
Platform(s): PC
Genre: Graphical Adventure/point and click/puzzles
Estimated year of release: 1990-1993
Graphics/art style: 2d, side view (similar to Monkey Island, better graphics though I think, and I believe there was no half of the screen with a written list of actions you could do), solid colors, simple graphics
Notable characters: I don't remember
Notable gameplay mechanics: The main character (a man) would die pretty graphically if you did something wrong. I remember there were sort of animations within the game. One animation I remember is the character found or got some dagger, and to prove how sharp it is, he dropped a hair on it, and the hair split by half fully length-wise. I think part of the game took place in some sort of pyramids. Possibly the character could wear some eyeglasses to see where to step in a maze (but this may be from a different game)

2024.06.05 00:43 Slow_to_notice I just kinda feel like yakking about RF5
Like damn. I remembered I never married anyone in my first playthrough at release when I started this run up, and now I recall: it's so short. Least for someone familiar with 3 and 4 I know how to squeeze those stats yknow? But even then if we go by 3's length instead of 4 it still feels so quick.
Like I misspoke in a comment earlier but summer* isn't even over yet and I've burned my dread already. Honestly could have done it sooner if I had remembered you in fact can't even get married before post game. Had been stalling to try and get that all done prior, see if cutscenes would change or anything yknow? then I looked it up when the final home upgrade didn't unlock the double bed.
Stealing mechanic is great, except they then fudged boss drops into the depths of hell. And you can't refight them in the same day either like you can in 4 and I coulda sworn 3. Not that you even really need boss drops in 5 cause hard isn't even much of a stat check but still! I've slapped and stolen the dragon golems every day since I encountered them and I maybe have 5 ash and 1 scale. But I got a bunch of CRYSTAL FRAGMENTS OH BOY! What really confuses me about this change is that it's not like it keeps you from becoming over powered. Like by time you actually may want/need some good stuff in your gear you have:
Over powered monsters in the form of 9-tails and fairies, probably Game hands you 1 gold dragon claw and scale every day for doing hunts
Soooooooo......I dunno I really am not sure why boss drop tables are now like 50% fragment 20% thing you want 5% useless sword seed. Outside of Radea, her drop pool is reasonable. Then there's town upgrades taking too much lumber and stone. You're gonna make chopping/smashing slower than 4 but then also have stuff cost upwards of 3000?????
Mind you I don't hate 5 and never expected it to be as meaty as 4 but with my second playthrough nearing its end(still have the maze to clear but i dont recall that being too hard either) I'm just kinda left feeling like damn what happened? I know the team got bought out or something after 4 if I recall and that's a big part of why there was such a huge gap between 4 and 5 but I guess I coulda sworn they got to stay together despite it? Is it just the tighter restraint and deadlines that did 5 in? The heart is there and you can see they did want to move stuff forward and even introduce new little things like co-op fishing to spice it up a little but at the same time the pacing and (story)presentation is just so rough.
Or stuff like how we have the positive that romance events aren't random anymore! But now they're landmines littering the town! Thrilling!
I'll stop there, because it's Rune Factory 5!

2024.06.05 00:30 forex4all H5metamax.vip Review: An In-Depth Look at Its Mysterious Online Presence
In the huge online space, where many websites vie for visitors' attention and purpose, H5metamax has become a fascinating and confusing creature. Many people have been curious in this website and the enigmatic activities that go on under its surface because of its enigmatic name and elusive online presence. We will take a thorough look at H5metamax in this extensive post, trying to clarify its special qualities, the user experience it provides, and the possible ramifications of its presence.
The Appeal of Obscurity: Upon encountering H5metamax, it is immediately evident that this website is not like any other. With its simple layout and unclear branding or goal, the landing page creates an air of mystery and ambiguity right off. H5metamax exudes mystery since it lacks a standard navigation menu, explanation text, or even a suggestion of what the website is supposed to do.
Curiosity seekers encounter a maze of mysterious pages and material when they try to navigate the website. Frequently delivered in broken words or esoteric ideas, the scant material seems to have been purposefully written to be difficult to understand. Visitors are left with more questions than answers by the employment of unusual symbols, codes, and images, which heightens the sensation of obscurity.
The Mysterious User Journey: Exploring H5metamax is like to setting out on a confusing voyage into the unknown. Visitors are challenged to interpret the goal and significance behind every click and interaction by the purposefully opaque user experience.
Clicking on apparently random links takes one to sites full with mysterious questions, confusing images, and cryptic messaging. Because visitors are left to their own devices to make sense of the site's esoteric material, the lack of explicit directions or explanations heightens the sensation of confusion.
Remarkably, H5metamax seems to use a non-linear and unusual navigational scheme. A more fluid and unexpected user experience replaces conventional website hierarchies and sensible page progressions. This method intensifies the sensation of mystery even more when users get trapped in a virtual maze and are unaware of their goal or the meaning of their contacts.
The Speculative Community: H5metamax has drawn a committed user base of people who like the site's mystery and conjecture despite its enigmatic design and lack of clear purpose. Known by their common name, "H5metamax seekers," these people actively participate on the site, exchanging ideas, interpreting hints, and working together to solve the mystery of H5metamax.
H5metamax fans now gather on online forums and discussion boards to share their discoveries, trade ideas, and put forward theories regarding the actual purpose of the website. The group effort to crack the secret material on H5metamax has made its members feel closer and have a common goal.
To increase their feeling of exclusivity and belonging, the H5metamax club has even created its own jargon and inside jokes. The common experience of solving the site's puzzles has produced a special subculture where the excitement of conjecture and the quest of knowledge trump traditional online relationships.
Possible Consequences and Theories: Theorems and conjectures on the possible consequences of H5metamax continue to elude us. There are others who speculate that the website is a complex artistic endeavor that investigates issues of perception, ambiguity, and the nature of online communication. One may see the cryptic material and unusual user experience as a critique of the internet's own growing fragmentation and obscurity.
Others suggest that H5metamax could be used by a chosen few for information exchange or clandestine communication. The mysterious words and codes on the website may be a way to transmit private or sensitive information that is not obvious to the outsider.
Theories also exist that speculate H5metamax might be connected to a bigger interactive fiction story or alternative reality game (ARG). The mysterious questions and cryptic hints dispersed around the website may be components of a fully immersive narrative that committed users might put together.
Whatever its actual goal, H5metamax has clearly captivated its audience and sparked conversations on the limits of online experiences and the value of mystery in a time of information overload. The website's capacity to enthrall visitors in spite of its absence of specific material or goal begs the issues of how online interaction will develop in the future and how ambiguity may draw in viewers.
Among the many confusing and unusual websites on the internet is H5metamax. Its mysterious user experience, cryptic character, and committed community of searchers have produced a mystery that both enthralls and perplexes.
Uncovering the complexities of H5metamax makes us realize how many opportunities and unexplored areas there are in the digital world. The website asks us to consider the limits of online experiences and the purpose of mystery in an increasingly transparent world, therefore challenging our notions of what a website should be and how it should work.
Few websites have been able to capture the attention and pique interest like H5metamax, even if its actual goal and effects are still unknown. What mysteries and discoveries could be in store as the H5metamax community expands and the conjecture grows?
H5metamax reminds us of the significance of mystery, the attraction of the unknown, and the strength of group discovery at a time where quick satisfaction and definitive solutions are often sought. Unquestionably making an impact on the digital scene, H5metamax is an art project, a communication tool, or something else completely. It invites us to embrace the mysterious and the unknown.

2024.06.05 00:25 forex4all Cofglobol.com Scam Broker Review
Amidst the endless sea of websites vying for viewers' attention and functionality, Cofglobol stands out as both fascinating and bewildering. Many have been intrigued by this website—with its enigmatic name and evasive online presence—and have wondered what it really is and what secrets it conceals. The purpose of this in-depth post is to explore Cofglobol in detail, looking for ways to explain its features, user experience, and possible consequences.
An Appeal to Mystery:
Cofglobol.com isn't your average website; that much is clear the second you get on it. The simple style and absence of branding or purpose on the landing page instantly create an air of mystery and intrigue. The air of mystery about Cofglobol is intensified by the fact that it lacks the usual suspects—a navigation menu, descriptive text, and any indication of the website's intended purpose.
In their pursuit of answers, inquisitive site users encounter a maze of mysterious pages and material. Deliberately constructed to elude obvious interpretation, the sparse prose is often delivered in incomplete sentences or abstract expressions. The unusual use of symbols, codes, and iconography adds to the air of mystery, leaving guests with more questions than answers.
Intriguingly, navigating Cofglobol is like setting out on a mysterious quest into uncharted territory. The user interface is designed to be purposely vague, making it difficult for visitors to understand the logic behind every click and interaction.
Strange graphics, mysterious questions, and cryptic messages await you when you click on apparently random links. Even more perplexing is the fact that visitors are left to their own devices to decipher the site's arcane information in the lack of any directions or explanations.
The navigation structure of Cofglobol seems to be non-linear and irregular, which is rather interesting. A more fluid and unexpected user experience is prioritized above traditional website hierarchies and logical page progressions. By taking this route, the feeling of mystery is intensified; users are utterly confused about where they are going and what their activities will accomplish in this digital maze.
There is a devoted group of people that use Cofglobol for the sole purpose of participating in the conjecture and mystery that surrounds the site, despite its obscure design and lack of clear objective. People that use Cofglobol commonly identify to themselves as "Cofglobol seekers," and they're always talking to one other, swapping theories, and trying to figure out what the site is all about.
Many people who are looking for Cofglobol gather on online forums and message boards to talk shop, share what they've found, and speculate about the site's real nature. A feeling of community and common goal has developed among users of Cofglobol as they work together to decipher the site's enigmatic material.
A feeling of exclusivity and belonging has been further enhanced inside the Cofglobol group by the development of its own jargon and inside jokes. In this one-of-a-kind subculture, members prioritize the excitement of conjecture and the quest for knowledge above more typical forms of online communication as they work together to unravel the secrets of the site.
The mystery surrounding Cofglobol has led to several hypotheses and predictions about the domain's possible consequences. The site's ambiguity, perception, and the character of online communication are some of the issues that have led some to speculate that it is an elaborate artistic endeavor. One possible interpretation is that the unusual user interface and cryptic material are a critique of the internet's growing disjointed and obtuse character.
There are some who think that Cofglobol might be used by a small number of people for clandestine communication or information exchange. Hidden from the uninitiated, the site's cryptic messages and codes may be a way of sending sensitive or secret information.
Some have speculated that Cofglobol is part of a bigger interactive fiction story or alternative reality game (ARG). Devoted players may be able to decipher an immersive narrative experience hidden inside the site's cryptic hints and prompts.
Whatever its actual goal may have been, Cofglobol has certainly captivated its audience, leading to conversations around the limits of the internet and the value of mystery in this day of information overload. There is no clear substance or goal on the site, but it manages to attract and hold visitors' attention nevertheless. This makes one wonder about the future of online interaction and the power of ambiguity.
In sum, of all the things on the internet, cofglobol is an unusual and confusing anomaly. An air of intrigue and perplexity has been cast over it by virtue of its obscure character, mysterious user interface, and devoted community of searchers.
The infinite potential and unexplored frontiers of the internet are brought to light as we try to decipher the complexities of Cofglobol. Existence of the site calls into question our assumptions about the nature and purpose of websites, prompting us to think about the limits of our online interactions and the place of mystery in a world where everything is becoming more visible.
Although the real meaning and impact of Cofglobol are still unclear, one thing is clear: it has managed to captivate people and pique their interest like no other website before it. With the ever-expanding Cofglobolmunity and the rampant conjecture, one can only speculate about the future and the mysteries it may hold.
If you’ve fallen victim to Cofglobol.com’s alleged deceptive practices, there may be hope. Some organizations specialize in assisting victims of scam brokers, helping them
recover lost funds and navigate the legal process. Remember, you’re not alone. Don’t hesitate to seek help and fight for your rights.

As the wargaming is still in a trial phase, the budget is limited, in turn restricting the scale of the meeting. Not a Mora was wasted during the construction of the venue. The size is just right for this iteration's requirements, offering enough space for the delegations from each of the neighboring nations... __________________________________________________________________

The Little Witch and the Undying Fire is a MUST read. This is the story of a little witch who journeyed far and wide to find the \"undying fire.\" Vol I Vol II - Blood-green moon. Blood-green was regarded as a symbol of great change in astrology, though whether such change be for good or ill cannot be determined by any result.
- —Actually, that shade symbolizes the dominant race of this world, the Nephilim. They were the children of gods and humans, and so their blood, too, was the conflux between the red blood of humanity and golden, divine blood. The green moonlight was the result of the moon's physical composition, the distance between the planet and its moon, atmospheric scattering, and other factors.
- The little witch had something to ask: "Can fortune tellers read the skeins of fate?" The fortune teller then explained the underlying principles. It's something like this:
- In our world, the stars are the heavenly strings by which humans are bound. But in other worlds*, the* subjects of astrological study are the solar ecliptic energies, the various lunar energies of the satellites, the will-energy of the celestial rulers of the planets, the scattered interference energy of distant stars, and the dark energy that suffuses the pitch-black cosmos. Of course, it's not like these things don't exert influence on our planet — they have merely been greatly weakened by a giant sky-shroud*. As such, astrology on other worlds is far more abstract than that which is practiced in ours.*
- Other planets refer to a actual celestial bodies as an "archon" and a theorized one as a "virtual." The planet the little witch was on was no exception.
- We also call a will that comes down from the heavens an "archon." They are normally planets that have sentient life on them, and they number seven, and therefore they are called the "seven archons."
- As for the virtuals, their number varies between one, two, and four. The planet the little witch was one may well have been one. And in the case of such a world, the "virtual" would be the "dark sun."
- Astrologists and diviners are, in essence, performing weight calculations on the sky-shroud, the cosmos, and the "archon" and "virtual" celestial bodies, before deducing individual developmental tendencies from world to world. But the relative weight of the sky-shroud over our planet is just way, way too great, and so, investigating it already allows us to obtain very precise results. As for the world the little witch and astrologist were on, they would have to go through the entire formula.
- The Night Carnival is an ancient, taboo ceremony. Legend has it that at such times, the witches' magical powers are at their apex. Under the blood-green moon, the great witches danced around the bonfire. And so, under the blood-green moonlight, the great witches sang their song:
- "If all things a witch's opera be, then nothing true worth mourning would the world ever see. Our festival has come to a fruitful end. The story shall not stay its feet, and every night hence shall also be the witches' night."
- "Once dawn comes, take that fire. If you should be so unfortunate as to become a monster, I will give you a quick end. You will not suffer." As a gift to commemorate this friendship, the young lady gave her treasured crystal ball to the little witch. "This crystal ball feels joy for all known destined paths, and its heart breaks for all unrevealed tragedies. If you ever feel lost, allow it to be your oracle!" Actually, there's a story behind this crystal ball. It—
Vol III - The little witch encountered a group of people getting ready to kill demon kings. They told her: The more demon kings you kill, the greater your witch's power will grow. This is true. Many demon kings seem very powerful, but they all have their weaknesses. The same is true for alchemical lifeforms. Finally, the little witch had to face a standard demon king, a great demon king of the primate order.
Vol IV - The great demon king was simply no match for her. "Can you really kill a being that looks like a human and has intelligence?" Shouted the great demon king in desperation. "You're right. I didn't really intend to do anything to you anyway," said the little witch. "I've never forgotten that my goal is to find the 'undying fire.' Researching, observing, and defeating demon kings was never even a means to the end, but rather just the building of a basic level of power." Then, she used — magic or mysticism — some super powerful awesome technique to bind the great demon king, and brought it back to the largest nearby city.
- As a trainee of the Western witches who had come out to take her exam, she naturally had credentials that proved her identity. This provided her convenient passage through the many mortal kingdoms. This nation was a loose confederacy. There was no aristocracy or hereditary titles.
- The race of great demon king is actually the demon king class, and so demon kings were thus a type of Nephilim. Since they were the dominant race, this meant that Nephilim were on the whole much stronger than normal humans — and since this setting for this world has hybrids of humans and gods, this meant that it has gods too.
- Because the little witch's goals had become foggy at this stage, she decided to take out her crystal ball and have a look at it.
Vol V Vol VI Vol VII - When all's said and done, the most important things were the witch's tea party and the goal she was pursuing. In truth, she had already seen it before her journey began. In a sky as dark as a sack of coal — or perhaps a cavern, for as we all know, there is no difference between the two — there hung a star giving off a weak radiance, resisting the world's darkness as it encroached on every side. As the universe gradually grew dim, and all stars and stars known as suns were extinguished one by one, everyone agreed to call it the Star of Scorpio.
- The little witch came before the old witch, who was actually the Star of Scorpio, that which burned still, even at the end of all things. However, her flame was very weak now, barely a faint ember. The little witch held her hand, which had become as dry and brittle as a withered branch.
- The little witch said: "Looks like everyone doesn't want the flame to go out, and I get it. The last time we said farewell the witches said that long-lived witches would lose many things as the years went by. Witches, in fact, treasure every infinitesimal flame and light that shines in this dark world bereft of hope all the more. They hold even the shadows that these flames would cast dear.
- "You often said that you left little behind, but the stories you left to us hold countless worlds. Even should a hundred years pass, or a thousand, even if the apocalypse that a certain astrologer witch worried about comes, even if all the long-lived witches die, the little light that emanates from these little worlds will not grow dim."
- The old witch did not respond, for all that was left here was but an empty husk. The little witch took the flame that was burning the old witch and set out on her homeward journey. The little witch's adventures would continue, for she had already decided to bring the old witch's fire across the universe, to light every last corner of time.

2024.06.04 23:58 aradraugfea Cards That Make Magic Play like Yu-Gi-Oh
So, as something of a joke Commander Deck, I am working on a deck that plays a bit like a Yu-Gi-Oh deck. 5 color medicore stuff, running all the trap cards, heavy Gates content because Maze's end makes me think of Destiny Board. Now that the deck is together and playable, I'm considering easing up on some of the traps/gates stuff (most traps are very bad, and a lot of the gate synergy stuff is just north of playable) and trying to squeeze in more "Yu-Gi-Oh" cards, or, for bonus funny, cards that make the whole table play like Yu-Gi-Oh.
Examples of what I'm talking about.
Yu-Gi-Oh has counters, but they are VERY rare, most of them cost one of Two resources Yu-Gi-Oh cares about. Life. Withering Boon is in the deck for this reason.
Yu-Gi-Oh doesn't have a concept of "tap", so cards that give all of my cards Vigilance (Like Hold the Gates) are valued. I'm running stuff like Amulet of Vigor and the like for similar reasons.
Yu-Gi-Oh only allows VERY specific creatures to attack the opponent directly, so Invasion Plans (which affectively means that you can't swing for face until their board is clear) is in the deck.
An example of what I'm considering. Yu-Gi-Oh, as a game, doesn't have summoning Sickness. Global effects that Give Haste (Concordant Crossroads, Mass Hysteria) are in consideration. As is "Angel's Trumpet", which gives everything Vigilance, because, as mentioned above, Yu-Gi-Oh lacks the concept of tapping.
I'm generally pretty pleased with where the deck is, but I started playing over the Pandemic, so I don't have the crazy database of cards some people do. A few inclusions were discovered via Veggie Wagon videos and made me go "Oh hey, that's just like _____" Figured I'd reach out and see if there's anyone with cool ideas.

2024.06.04 23:43 Upstairs_Tea1787 Total Drama Reboot Season 3 Episode 6 (My Way)
Chris recaps Episode 5, in which the teams had to make their way through a sand maze, and the Foxes got their first win, which means Serpents got their first loss, and unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Wayne for his outside voice, and his idea of racing with Raj, and losing because of a little sand in his eye. Let's find out who goes next.
Intro Plays like Usual
Raj is then waking up smelling Wayne's lucky jersey, and he sees Bowie looking down feeling bad, Raj asks where Wayne is, and Bowie takes a moment to prepare to tell Raj what happened. He tells Raj that Wayne was voted off, and Raj doesn't take this well, and starts crying using Wayne's lucky jersey as a tissue, Bowie tells him that he wanted him to tell him to give it his all, and that he is just as capable without his captain and his best friend is as a hockey player and a contestant. Raj thinks hard about this. Bowie then walks out of the foxes cabin and runs into Emma and Caleb who are seen whispering to each other, Emma tells him that Caleb was asking for phone numbers, which got her excited since she never got his at his season 1 elimination, besides he only had Priya's number and wanted to keep in contact with some of the other contestants so they can talk to each other outside the show, he was actually looking for Millie to see if she had any spare paper from her book to write numbers on. Bowie asked Caleb if he was cheating on Priya with Emma, Caleb is offended by it, but Bowie says he's just kidding and can't take him seriously when he's angry or upset, Caleb can't help but laugh at the way he sounded. Bowie hasn't seen Millie, but once he gets the paper, he'd love to give him his phone number, he'll even write down Wayne and Raj's numbers too. Bowie then asked Caleb if he could talk to Emma alone, and he agrees and goes off to find Millie. Eventually we see Nichelle telling Axel that she figured out what Julia's weakness is and that it's that she likes MK but is too proud of herself to admit it, and Axel doesn't think Julia would show affection to anyone, but MK seems to be the only contestant she has a positive opinion on, and Nichelle says that's exactly what they'll do to set Julia off. Emma starts by taking a deep breath and starts apologizing to the way she treated him, and ignoring him for most of Season 2, she goes on and on about how much of a jerk she was, and that she feels terrible for throwing away one of her only genuine friendships she ever had. Bowie can tell Emma was sorry, which explained why she offered to help Wayne and Raj out of the maize, to earn Bowie's respect back, He tells him that she has done more than that, she was smart, stayed strong, and was emotionally mature. Emma jokes that sounded familiar. Bowie then asked if she voted Chase at the last elimination, Emma says she didn't surprisingly, no hate to Wayne, but she thinks using Chase as a vote could help her in the game maybe learn a few things from a master strategist. Bowie admires Emma's strategy and thinks they could do something great with this. We then see Millie drawing in a new notebook in which she is drawing out the steps to help Damien finally tie his shoes, Damien then looks at the notebook, and with the pictures, it's a success, and Damien has done it, he's proud of it and that he is capable and now he won't have to worry about tripping, getting filmed by Chase, being laughed at, or getting stuck because some psycho stepped on the laces. Eventually Scary Girl comes in when he mentions psycho, and Damien screams and bolts out the room, Millie jokes that at least his shoes are under control, Scary Girl then asks Millie if she can recall a certain event from Season 1, that involved her, it was the same night as the one where she captured the skull, Millie remembers and Scary Girl warns her that she'll make sure she remembers and innocently skips out of the room. Caleb then walks in seeing Millie looking a little freaked out, Caleb is smart enough to know that Scary Girl was here, and he asked if she's ok, Millie says she's fine and Caleb changes the subject and asked how Damien is doing with his shoe tying lesson, Millie says that it was a success, and he's mastered it, Caleb is proud of Damien, and then asked to borrow a piece of paper, Millie gives him a piece of paper. She asked what he needs it for, but before he can explain, Chris announces its challenge time, Caleb says he can tell her later, he tells Millie to go find Damien while he gets his necklace since he forgot to put it on, Caleb hopes to get Millie and Damien's numbers too and maybe start a whole chat group outside the game. Hopefully after the challenge.
It then cuts to all the contestants at the bottom of the tallest mountain on Boney Island and that this challenge will be a race on the highest point on Boney Island, each team will have their own mode of transportation to make it to the top, each team will pick their mode of transportation to get the flags from a hat. Julia, Nichelle, Bowie, and Emma get Mountain bikes. Raj, Axel, Chase, and Damien get motorcycles. Millie and Scary Girl get roller skates. MK and Caleb both notice that there are no more vehicle cards in the hat, and Chris says that they will take to more natural mode of transportation, much to their disappointment. MK and Caleb for once both agree that Chris's treatment of them is slander, and Caleb tells her to not hop on his back like in Season 2. Chris then says each team must have all their members grab each of the 4 flags that mark 100 feet up the mountain, and it doesn't matter who grabs what as long as the team has 4 flags. Raj, Axel, Chase, and Damien race ahead. Julia, Nichelle, Bowie, and Emma start biking, Scary Girl skates fast like it's easy, but Millie struggles to keep her balance, so Caleb decides to hold his hand and they will go together. Chase attaches his camera to the back of his motorcycle so he can film himself, Damien tells him that not everything has to be filmed, since they are already on tv, Chase tells him he's just jealous he's got millions of followers, and he has none, Damien rolls his eyes, Chase eventually zips past Damien and grabs their team's first flag. MK eventually starts running but she hates running. Julia and Nichelle are in the lead, and spot the first flag and Nichelle shows off by riding the bike by standing on the seat and grabbing the flag flawlessly, Nichelle then sticks her tongue out at Julia. Meanwhile Raj and Axel are then shown riding their motorcycles, Axel notices Raj looking down and asks him to keep his eyes on the path, but Raj tells her that it's not that he isn't trying to not pay attention it's because he still misses Wayne and he's never competed without him there, Axel reminds him that she eventually was able to move passed Ripper's elimination and that he can do the same, it's not about competing with them, it's competing for them. That gave Raj a confidence boost and they sped up passing Chase and Damien and grabbed the second flag. MK is eventually able to make to wear the first flag was and wishes there was a faster way to get to the top, and eventually finds a moose and MK takes the opportunity as Chris said that she had to take the natural mode of transportation, and hops on the moose, while it was taking a drink, and carried on without the moose noticing her. The moose eventually gained speed when it spotted other campers and sped past them so she could get her team's third flag. They don't approve of MK's strategy, but Julia eyed her up smiling, Nichelle slyly tells her that she likes her and she knows it, Julia tells her that she was looking at the moose and how fast it was going, Nichelle knows Julia better than that. Millie and Caleb are then talking about how Millie wishes she was more fit like Caleb, and that if she did then this would be a lot easier for her, Priya's training her in Season 1 was a lot for her, Caleb agrees that Priya's training methods, or should he say her parents' training methods are too extreme for everyone to be able to do it the same, and tells Millie to play to her own strengths, like how he's very strong. Millie then asks Caleb what the point of asking for that paper, but before Caleb says it, a wind knocks Millie and causes her to go backwards on her skates and Caleb races after her. Chris announces that the Foxes have three flags, and the serpents have two, Caleb tells Millie they can worry about the paper later, and that they have a challenge to win, and Caleb eventually starts pushing Millie up the hill really fast. Julia and Nichelle are at each other's throats trying to knock each other off their bikes, saying they don't care if they win, they want to make sure that each other gets eliminated as they can't stand each other. Both of them eventually make each other crash into a bush filled with poison ivy. Scary Girl eventually passes them grabbing the third flag for the Serpents. MK is then seen almost at the top to grab final flag, but the moose eventually stops throwing her off and making her land in the poison ivy bush. Damien, Chase, Bowie, and Emma are all shown reaching the top and try to grab the Serpent's flag, but the flag flies away before one of them can grab it. Caleb and Millie are about to grab the flag as it's flying but Scary Girl pushes Millie back without Caleb noticing and once he sees Millie skating back down the mountain he chooses to run after Millie, instead of grabbing the flag. Eventually Axel and Raj make it to the top grabbing the final flag for the foxes and Chris announces the Foxes win the challenge. Raj and Axel high five. Nichelle, Julia, and MK are all too itchy to celebrate. Chris then tells the Serpents that he will see them at elimination. Damien comes by to help Millie up, and them and Caleb they all angrily eye Scary Girl for pushing her, and Scary Girl claims that was fun and wants to do it again, hopefully maybe with seeing some blood next time, which freaks them out.
Back at the Serpents Cabin, Bowie and Emma are talking about who they want to eliminate, Emma was thinking Scary Girl as punishment for pushing Millie, and that she's just too unhinged to be here. Bowie then adds that Chase could go, but...Emma jumped in that he didn't do anything too worthy of going and besides they need his vote to further their position. Bowie tells Emma that she's good. Bowie whispers to Emma the name of someone they feel needs to go. Emma's not too sure, and still feels guilty for having to eliminate Wayne and keep Chase, when he means well, while Chase doesn't. Bowie tells her to trust him, and that she needs to think with her head, Emma tells Bowie he's right, eventually Emma runs into the cabin to grab something, and then it cuts to the elimination ceremony.
At the elimination, the serpents all look nervous and Chef points out who's on the chopping block.
Millie: She wasn't too skilled on the roller skates, and that she was going more backwards than fowards.
Millie says that it was because of a certain something, wind and a certain someone she won't mention.
Caleb: He chose to save Millie from rolling down the mountain, instead of grabbing the flag for the team.
Caleb says that his heart was too big for his own good sometimes.
Scary Girl: She pushed Millie which caused Caleb to run after her, which cost them the game.
Scary Girl in a confessional says it's all part of the plan.
Now it's time to hand out the marshmallows
The following serpents are safe
Bowie
Emma
Chase
Damien
Millie
It was down to Caleb and Scary Girl.
The last marshmallow goes too...
Scary Girl. Which means that Caleb is eliminated.
Damien is shocked about how Caleb got more votes than Scary Girl. Bowie and Emma look guilty saying that it was best for their game. Caleb tells Damien it's ok, and that he knew he was going to get voted off eventually, he just wishes that he was able to get everyone's phone numbers, but he left the paper in the cabins, Emma then hands him the paper he got from Millie from the cabin with Emma, Bowie, Wayne, and Raj's numbers. Millie finally realized that was what the paper was for, and Caleb asks Millie to right her number on there, she does and then Damien writes his. Chase tells Caleb he's too much of a goody-two-shoes to get his phone number, Caleb rolls his eyes, and Scary Girl says she doesn't need his phone number, as she already knows where to find him at all times, Caleb then gulps, and then tells Millie to make Priya proud, and Millie smiles with a tear from her eye. Chris then tells Caleb it's time to go. Everyone except Chase and Scary Girl, waved goodbye to Caleb. As he walks to the casket, he says that is satisfied with how he played without Priya and that he's looking forward to seeing her, and hoping she's doing ok with her parents, and was happy to finally make more connections with the other campers. He climbs into the casket and off he goes.
Scary Girl has a confessional in which she says that her plan worked perfectly, since she's not quite done with Millie yet, and still felt her thirst for vengeance wasn't fulfilled enough to get rid of her and Damien's screams are too good of a reason to not get rid of him. So that only left her with Caleb, besides he's not as fun to scare as Millie or Damien, according to her.
Chris wishes that the elimination wasn't so sentimental but says that at least it's over and closes out by asking who will go next. Find out on the next episode coming soon.

2024.06.04 23:03 ShinyLapras321 Ninja gaiden black is the worst CAG I’ve ever played
I keep trying to like this game but it's awful. It's 90% puzzles, exploration, or being lost in a maze with some annoying combat. I wanted to play an "ACTION" game not Zelda and spend all day looking for puzzles or keys. The majority of the game just felt like search for this door while we throw endless enemies at you it's not even good or fun.
Most the bosses are trash you can cheese them by spamming one attack I've never felt challenged by the combat you just find a weakness and spam and it becomes brain dead. The other 2 games might be better cutting all that garbage out but this is the most overrated game in the genre.
I came into this game expecting action but I got Zelda with more enemies. I don't think it should be included in the genre or mentioned here it's a stretch to even call it an action game.
