Infrared toilet flush

I just found a snake halfway coming out of my toilet. I tried to take a picture of it, but he slinked down into the toilet before I was able to.. he looked just as shocked as I was to see him. So then, as one does, I repeatedly flushed the toilet and THEN googled what I should do. Oops. So now that I have a rogue snake in my plumbing, I filled my toilet with bleach and covered every single drain with something heavy. There’s a pipe clean out access point in my front yard that’s uncovered because the lawnmower hit it. I’ve bought a replacement cover, but I’m pretty sure he got in through there. How long am I supposed to feel uncomfortable using the toilet? Should I still call a snake person even though I’m pretty sure he’s not in my toilet anymore because it’s flushing fine? Do I call a plumber? I don’t really know what to do. Help me please. This is my worst nightmare lol

I really really need help or advice..Please.... Before I start, I know, I've been and am being very stupid in my choices. I have been coming to terms with my mental health and stopping drug use (weed, yes i know..pathetic.) for all these months. I have been on deferred probation in Texas on a mental health caseload for 10 months out of my 5 year sentence, passing each of my drug tests so far using monkey whiz successfully. I get told to go into the bathroom (unsupervised) and then I "piss" in a test cup. It always looks normal.
This past time around, my "whiz" was over temp and i didn't realize it before walking out of the bathroom. I handed it to my PO and she saw the temp "read green" on 100. at that point she asked me "is this your pee?" and i responded with yes and that i felt like hot shit that morning. I think(?) she then looked at me kinda weird and then just told me to dump the piss in the test cup in the toilet n flush just like every other time i've gotten tested.
What scared me after was the fact she asked me if i've ever done a hair test. i think responded with "no" or "i think so, but i don't know", i forgot, then she just proceeded to go to the office where we do the checkups on whatever i've gotta do for probation and the mental health caseload (there is my mental health caseload manager sitting in the room). I told her about the month i had before my appointment and about the progress i've made on what i need to do.
We scheduled my next appointment for this month and I was let out of the office and went home like normal. I have a really bad feeling for the next appointment i have on the 30th of this month. From this point on, i'm going to completely abstain from smoking weed and drink hella water and detox tea and pray that certo works before my test in case i get pee tested.
What is the likelihood of me getting hair tested? I'm sure it's high. If i do get piss tested, do yall think I'll be supervised being that i haven't before? i don't know what risk level i am or anything.. but shit man. i'm scared. stupid question, any solid advice for dodging hair tests if push comes to shove?
Literally any straws of hope to grasp onto even if i can't pass this test, i'll take that too. Help programs, resources, impatient rehab etc... i just need anything that will help me stay jail free...
I just don't want to go to jail. That shit genuinely traumatized me and i legitimately feel every fiber of my very being shudder in the most sickening physical and mentally painful fear and anxiety.
I just want to know what to do to maintain my freedom and mental health. I don't mind going to rehab, in fact i feel as though i may need it again. I really want to stop using, and i'm willing to do anything to stop. I really need help guys. I apologize if this sounds desperate.

I was thinking about using a tank tablet to help maintain my toilet between cleanings. Thankfully I remembered someone once telling me that the chemicals can be caustic and damaging to your toilet, SO... I've got some questions.
First, is it only bleach-based tablets that are a major issue? Would something like the Scrubbing Bubbles tablets that are bleach-free be ok?
Second, what about systems like the Fluidmaster or Kaboom automatic dispensers that keep the tablets out of your tank water and instead dispense cleanser into your overflow tube when flushing?
Finally, gel sticky thingies??? Like the Scrubbing Bubbles Gel Stamps that you stick in your bowl. Not even sure if these contain a disinfectant but figured I'd ask to cover my bases.

So darling girl (we'll call her Amy) had a taste of life when SHTF this week after the power was cut off to our rural cabin for 3 days straight.
Sadly, I'm more of an armchair prepper than a hands-on guy, plus I was away on business so wasn't much help. Lack of electricity also meant the electric pump to our artesian well didn't run so Amy had no power AND no running water.
Most of the lessons we've learned will be pretty obvious to you guys as experienced Preppers but I wanted to share what I've learned so you can show this to anyone who says that prepping is only for the paranoid.
I'm also immensely indebted to the TheSensiblePrepper for his awesome 'Power Out Kit List'. You saved our lives, man!
Check your UPS
Living out in the country we're used to temporary power cuts, so I use a laptop with a UPS for work. We also have a Starlink satellite dish for internet. When the power first went down I suggested to Amy that she plug the Starlink router into the UPS to get online, only to find it needed way more juice (1000 VA) than my budget UPS could supply. Naturally I'd have known this if I'd troubled to test the UPS myself with the Starlink system.
Power Banks : Go Big or Go Home
TheSensiblePrepper's recommended Golabs R300 Power Station couldn't be delivered to our cabin, so we went with a Jackery 1000 with a 200W Solar Panel. This is a classic case in point for why prepping is so important as we had to arrange daily deliveries of mini battery packs for Amy's cellphone each day from a local grocery store just so she could charge her cellphone.
Lay in your Logs
It's great having a log fire as we do. We even have a ton of logs out in the shed. Still Amy's health problems prevented her from fetching them to keep the place warm. Naturally I felt terrible as I was thousands of miles away and couldn't do it for her. Lesson learned: If you're going away and your family have mobility issues, make sure they have everything they need to hand!
Network with Neighbors
Some kind neighbors did invite Amy over a meal, shower and to charge her cellphone the first night of the power cut. Still, Amy didn't feel right about asking for more help as she didn't know them well. If we'd taken the time to visit with the neighbors and maybe help out with a few chores we'd have a much better support network around us. Needless to say, we're going to do that in future!
Water Worries
The lack of running water was a huge obstacle for Amy - the poor girl went without a shower for 3 days! The aforementioned kindly neighbors dropped off a few bottles for drinking and some 'gray' water to flush the toilets.
Still, I've since been researching solar pumps for the artesian well which include a backup battery. It's going to be costly to replace the pump altogether but it's better that than be stuck without water.
Currently I'm leaning towards TheSensiblePrepper's suggestion of laying in some stackable water bricks.
Grab some Gas
Although our house is plumbed for gas, it's only used for heating. In a SHTF scenario, it's also unlikely they'll keep pumping. Amazon came to the rescue here once again with the Grill Boss Portable Propane Stove.
I've no idea if this is the best value for money or most efficient stove out there. I do know in future Amy won't have to eat cold beans out of a tin, even if the gas/power goes down.

As I said, I'm sure this will seem very obvious to experienced users but if we'd followed the steps in this subreddit sooner, we'd have had a much easier time of it. Perhaps something to share with non-preppers next time they say you worry too much. :-)

Hi, has anyone managed to install toilet with flush sensor and sensor tap in your house. Can you please share your experience? How much did they cost and do you have any recommended brand. Thanks

I cannot watch the toilet flush with paper. I don't know why. It just bothers me so much and I start to gag. This is recent, too. I feel odd about this

Is it possible to replace the canister style assembly in the toilet tank with a flap style? The toilet doesn’t put enough water in while flushing (unless you hold the handle down). There doesn’t seem to be a way to adjust this. The canister immediately drops down and stops the water flow. I have adjusted the chain tension and the water line with no difference.

I recently replaced the water pressure regulator on the main line into my house. It is adjustable, but I am unsure whether it needs to pressure increased or reduced. I now have a sound in my lines when a toilet is flushed or the washing machine is filling up. Any suggestions?

First hear me out, I know how it looks and if I sound aggressive towards certain characters but you will found out why. And in day in age were you have to walk on eggshells around women it really got to my nerves.
I work at an office of 4 people. Assistant (F middle 20s), Secretary (F60s), Boss (M70s) and "ME" (M early 40s). At the moment of ''the incident" only assistant and me were on our office. Then comes along Poop Lady (probably in her late 40s don't care really).
She works in a neighboring office in the same building but they weren't opened for business yet. Poop Lady comes asking to use the toilet. At that moment I was finishing using it and it wasn't working properly but did got a bucket and poured water down a few times and left it neat clean. We did warned her that its wasn't working properly but if she would take care of it go a head (showing her the bucket on my hand).
So she used the toilet and was taking more than usual we could hear her phone ringing a couple of times we think her coworkers had already arrived. She shamefully came out saying what everyone would expect. but instead of going for water on the bucket Poop Lady used every single cleaning product she could find and dumped all on the toilet. The mix of nasty odors and chemicals was disgusting and she said that she would run down her office for a plunger and fix it.
She did came back like an hour or so but didn't get anything just "flushed" to see what happened and of course nothing did. Then boss came in with a client and a business associate acquaintance of our office. He went for the bathroom but pretty much did a U-turn and asked me if I did that. TBH It didn't buttered me because it was an expected reaction, only guy on the office and all. But I did said out loud that it was Poop Lady next door so Boss could hear and "do something".
So at this time the pressure to do something was real. Assistant and secretary were complaining that Poop Lady left things unresolved to a point that assistant took matters in her hands and started cleaning how she could. So I asked our boss what will he do about it. Boss apparently just whattsaped on what was going on. And got a response that I was responsable about the toilet situation. Reddit this, THIS got to me and I raised my voice and pretty much cursed Poop Lady and other office personnel, I was livid, I wanted to se red, and because sort of relevant they are the kind that will abuse the kindness of Boss man and take advantage on asking for office favors (wont get in to details but to a point that if it were business related there would have been a split commission for both parties).
As a side note Boss man is my father and we have a strange relationship but that's a whole can of worms. That's why I could raise my voice to him and said that they were HIS friends not mine and I have been courteous and professional as of that moment. And I was going to their office and call out Poop Lady why blaming this on me. As I said not my friends and this kind of behavior was out of line.
So yeah I stormed to their office and yelled at Poop Lady of leaving the toilet like a truck stop WC. And we are not close or friends so she could make that sort of "joke" to pin that shit to me. I could see her discomfort, there were more office by standers (no clients so that's good lets keep it professional) and her Boss kicked me out basically banning me from his office for calling out a "lady" like that.
So yeah that's basically it, Poop Lady's boss is the kind of sleazy person that would sell her own mothers ashes. and the rest of the other office personnel are the kind that will ask for favors but never return them. They take advantage over my boss/father and well, if its work related he'll let it happen even if they walk over him. As I said other can of worms.
I don't feel so bad because basically I'm the hero of the women of my office (hey don't like them either). Boss man didn't stop me wen I told him what I was going to do. He could have but didn't, for what I could gather there were already tensions from the other office's boss and him. And as I was telling my story to my wife she pretty much said that she would rather die than to leave other people's toilet like that. So It gave me some sort of relief. But Reddit here's the thing. This was yesterday but I still have the adrenaline rush of it and cant seem to calm down and want to forget about it and move on.

Here's the story: I live in an apartment building. I know, call maintenance. I'd rather not wait. (also, I'd like to know for my own sake, anyway). "Just turn off the water". The handle is basically impossible to turn. I've even attempted tools. I could keep trying, but again....apartment building. Don't need to wrestle anything, and maybe break it.
I've heard vinegar may break things up (and yes, I have hard water). Does the water need to be turned off for that? When I flush I see that ZERO suction comes from that part of the toilet, so I don't know what's stopping it.

In the episode with the wake when the wains are trying to flush the funny scones down the toilet. Orla can be seen nibbling at something… possibly a scone…. Then, she hits us with the line about the girl shoving drugs “right up her”…. Anyway…. Could it be that she was already high? Cos she never said anything as coarse as that before or after, if my memory serves me correctly.
Thoughts?

Herself was folding the washing straight off the clothes horse. While doing so she was checking to see if she managed to get a stain out of a pair of my shorts. She put her hand up the leg to get a better look and felt something move. Before she could take her hand out, the little fecker fell to the floor and once she saw it she let out a blood curdling scream (she has arachnophobia).
I quickly caught him and flushed him down the toilet, then checked the rest of the clothes for anymore, but he seems to have been the only one. I'm just glad that she found him while folding before I put them on...
But yeah, be careful out there folks.

just like the title says, the tabs we put in the tank seem to be turning the water red after a few minutes/hours when we flush it is blue as it should be but when you come back to the toilet after any amount of time the water seems to turn bright red, the longer away from the toilet the more insanely red it gets. sorry if this is not the right sub, but googling didnt offer an answer and ive just very curious honestly

Do you have any idea of what it means when the toilet is having a hard time to flush like if it was clogged up but it's not and it's two toilets upstairs and downstairs same side like it doesn't have strength to go down?

Throughout the game I've been flushing every toilet I find. I'm a good citizen, right? But in the water treatment plant in Ch 6 - and, crucially, after passing the toilets - you find a message from someone asking a coworker not to flush the toilet, where their yellow access card is.
I flushed the toilet, and have since had multiple quicksaves (because Mark melts in water) and autosaves. My last normal save was in the sewers, aka bloody ages ago. Am I sunk?

Hello, a wall charging block (~ 2”x2”x1”) fell out of the wall above my toilet and was flushed.
I tried turning the water off, reaching in to grab it, plunging, and snaking.
Is this something that warrants calling a professional? I don’t care about retrieving the object, but don't want to cause a blockage down the line.
the toilet flushes fine, and there doesn't appear to be any blockage currently.
