2024.05.20 08:46 aveclesanes 35 [F4M] Looking for an equal

I can’t sleep (most nights if I’m being honest). But today it’s because I’m starting a new job tomorrow. Would love to hear your best career tips. How do you get ahead, make friends, or even find your niche at the office/industry? I’m 35, have an advanced theological degree, but work in finance, so I’m not very corporate at heart. I like to read (mostly classics, professional/personal development, or finance, currently) and write (in a journal). Travel and travel photography are a fairly signifiant part of my life too. But mostly I think I travel to try new foods. I’m very social and can typically carry on a conversation. But to do that, I think I need reciprocal curiosity, some shared interests/values, and a matched energy. Most of all, I am looking for consistency (not hot and cold communication) once we get a good chat or two under our belts. Sorry those who self-identify as “nerds” primarily, but I’m not one. But if you’re social and think you’re easy to talk to, feel free to reach out. Just so you’re not surprised, I’m 5’5, Asian-American, average weight.

Jacketed Liposome Extruder: Solutions for Nano
If you are working in pharmaceutical and gene development and delivery, there is a high chance you have at least heard of a liposome extruder. Genizer’s Jacketed Liposome Extruder is leading the industry in innovation and precision.
Liposome extrusion is mainly done to formulate liposomes and achieve a uniform size distribution. Generating nanoscale liposome formulations, and preparing exosomes and artificial cell membranes are other processes that can be done with a liposome extruder.
Nano Pore
There are many advantages to utilizing Genizer’s Jacketed Liposome Extruder.
Firstly, Genizer’s Jacketed Liposome Extruders are unique in that they have a built in temperature control unit. Most of our jacketed liposome extruders are designed with jacketed barrels. With the ability to hook a cold water unit to its body, the jacketed liposome extruder can guarantee effective extrusion while working with samples that must maintain a certain temperature. This is particularly important when working with pharmaceuticals and genes because of their need to maintain bioavailability.
Secondly, air-compression using a compressed nitrogen cylinder (or other gas chambers) is what drives the power behind jacketed liposome extruders. This ensures that the given pressure is enough to extrude samples through polycarbonate membranes.
Lastly, there is a wide range of processing capacities allowing Genizer’s Jacketed Liposome Extruders to work in a wide range of applications and industries. The different models of extruders that differ in sample volume size starting with 2mL and going up to 3L in volume. This makes the extruders suitable for laboratory scale use all the way up to pilot scale use. With the addition of Genizer’s Online Liposome Extruders, formulation can even occur on a production and manufacturing scale.

Jackted Liposome Extruder
Genizer takes pride in their Jacketed Liposome Extruder’s abilities in various industry settings. With its temperature control, air-compression power, and wide range of applications, Genizer’s jacketed liposome extruder will produce nano-sized liposomes with impressive precision and accuracy.

In our busy lives, finding time to learn can be tough. Between work, family, and all the other things we have to do, it's hard to squeeze in some learning time. But what if you could learn whenever and wherever you want, like when you're waiting for the bus or even just chilling at home? That's where mobile learning comes in handy. With mobile learning, you can turn those moments of downtime into opportunities for learning and growth. Whether you're on your lunch break or waiting in line at the store, all you need is your phone or tablet to dive into a world of knowledge.
In this blog, we will explore how mobile learning is beneficial for today's generation, enabling individuals to learn anytime, anywhere, and at their own pace.

The Rise of Mobile Learning

2024.05.20 08:41 user7-0 Since people got so annoyed with the blur, here's some nudes

Since people got so annoyed with the blur, here's some nudes
Story time: I was a suicidal student struggling to clear CA final when I invested in these stocks. My dad trusted me and gave me some money to invest but yeah, this is my portfolio right now. Also, my articleship experience (2y of just these audits) in stock broker audits at an early age of 20 helped me to stay curious back then. Used to look at tradelogs of customers (as part of sample testing in audit) and be surprised at how much people used to make by day trading. Also gave me an idea of different types and names of stocks that existed. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there talking to equity research analysts and RMS head, over coffee or lunch. I used to be shameless and come clean of my lack of knowledge and sit with them after hours to understand how stock broking business works (something that wasn't needed for the audit, but I couldn't get rid of the curiousity itch).
At the time of clearing CA Final, the only stocks I sold were chola finance and a bit of SBI to purchase a phone. I used to use a bar phone until then as I wanted to keep my distractions minimum. Fortunately, after I cleared CA I never needed to sell stocks for my needs/wants.
Anyway, I did see exilisi go to ~1300% as well, but didn't sell it but no regrets. But I guess I should also learn to know when to divest as well.
I remember buying endurance tech with whole of my diwali bonus when I was an articleship student. Probably will never sell this as a memoir of the times.
Anyway, it's been almost 10years when I started investing and now I earn enough to experiment in stock markets and not have regret of loss of capital. This post is a reminder to self to be active again in the investing life :)
Feel free to criticize or drop any tips for me to do better and stay active.
PS: always grateful to my dad, who worked in a PSU bank. Literally dragged me to his colleague who handled trading cell of the branch in a tier 3 city (so basically he was sitting quiet) to teach me basics of stock market. My dad asked his colleague for his time and made me sit with him to just have a conversation. And that's what we did, I was a foundation student back then and his colleague told me what a sensex ticker is and how nifty fifty index is calculated. That, caused a spark, which led me to do some NSE NCFM courses, which got me articleship in a CA firm coz they had a stock broking client for whom they had to do internal audits and report to NSE, BSE. I loved it so much that I went on to stick to internal audits for my career and am a Group Internal Auditor for a company with about ₹7200cr pa revenue.
As I type this, I have tears in my eyes coz I realise butterfly effect of my dad pushing me to have a conversation with his colleague. Me, who was just a 19y kid who just cleared his foundation exam in CA, waiting to clear IPCC but contemplating suicide in case I didn't clear it.
Thank you dad :)

2024.05.20 08:40 wmu1936 Am I a narcissist?

Hello I never really considered this being a possibility, but I want to know more after recognizing some signs in myself. I am 19M and I have always definitely had a decently sized ego. I always have felt smarter than others, and have always excelled academically in English and History. During high school, had a significant rise in popularity too that caused my ego to inflate to where it is now due to all the approval I started receiving for doing nothing that impressive. I have become a little more self aware in college where I am not as special, but I still perceive myself as better than my peers. (Again, for no real reason) I spend much of my days daydreaming about becoming powerful and influential, and only recently have I realized that isn't really normal. I currently am studying law/politics and truly believe that I will one day be someone special and historical, but is that just confidence?
I have doubts I am truly narcissistic, but want to know how I can learn more about it. I am not that assertive and not obsessed with the spotlight. Is being narcissistic even bad? If anything I feel like I am motivated to work hard to accomplish my career and life goals. Socially I have always done great, but I want to ensure I will not have future problems. I have no diagnosed other mental disorders, and have always fit in quite well. Also, if l am a narcissist is it worth getting help or is it something that just needs to be managed. I just want to be the best version of myself.

2024.05.20 08:35 bubbleheadbrain You are my daughter. Otherwise, I would’ve stopped talking to you a long time ago.

My dad texted me this and finally confirmed my sneaking suspicion all along.
My dad is a big reason and factor on why I developed bpd and a disorganized attachment style.
I believe he has narcissistic personality disorder, but he does not believe in mental health, or thinks it can be cured by exercise and the sun.
I developed a pretty bad complex while young, I became to understand that my parents only care for me in the ways they see themselves in me.
My parents only care about thier blood relation to me, but not the person, the consciousness or the self-awareness inside that body.
I started suspecting this as this as a child from their behavior towards me.
Today it was finally confirmed for me, I knew it all along.
I think it’s big reason why I developed borderline and disorganized attachment. My parents made me feel a big sense of rejection, abandonment and betrayal on myself for my whole life.
It makes sense why I developed this.
It’s sad, because I know I’m bad person and I have to work so insanity hard not to be a bad person, dispite it being in my nature and I was raised that way.
I want to stop feeling like this.
I hate this happened to me and I’m worse off for it. Not everything that doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, sometimes you just get borderline instead and make everything worse.

One of the most transformative technologies to emerge in recent years is the AI-powered chatbot. These intelligent virtual assistants are revolutionizing the way companies interact with their customers, offering numerous benefits that drive satisfaction and loyalty. As we delve into the impact of AI-powered chatbots, we’ll also highlight how partnering with the best digital marketing company in Kanpur can help you leverage this technology to its fullest potential.

Enhanced Customer Experience

AI-powered chatbots are designed to provide instant and accurate responses to customer inquiries, ensuring a seamless experience. Unlike traditional customer service, which can involve long wait times and inconsistent information, chatbots operate 24/7 and can handle multiple queries simultaneously. This immediate response capability significantly reduces customer frustration and enhances overall satisfaction.
Moreover, chatbots can be programmed to understand and respond in natural language, making interactions feel more human-like. This personalization creates a more engaging and positive experience for customers, as they feel understood and valued.

Increased Customer Engagement

Engagement is a crucial aspect of building strong customer relationships. AI-powered chatbots facilitate continuous engagement by proactively reaching out to customers with relevant information, updates, and promotions. For instance, a chatbot can notify customers about a new product launch, a special discount, or provide personalized recommendations based on their browsing history and preferences.
Additionally, chatbots can gamify interactions through quizzes, polls, and other interactive elements, making the engagement process fun and enjoyable. This not only keeps customers engaged but also encourages them to spend more time on your website or app, increasing the likelihood of conversions.

Streamlined Customer Support

Effective customer support is essential for maintaining customer loyalty. AI-powered chatbots can handle a wide range of support tasks, from answering frequently asked questions to assisting with order tracking and processing returns. By automating these routine tasks, businesses can free up their human agents to focus on more complex issues that require a personal touch.
Furthermore, chatbots can learn from previous interactions, continuously improving their accuracy and efficiency. This self-learning capability ensures that customers receive high-quality support consistently, which is vital for retaining their trust and loyalty.

Data Collection and Analysis

AI-powered chatbots are not just tools for communication; they are also powerful data collectors. Every interaction with a chatbot generates valuable data that can be analyzed to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and pain points. This data can be used to refine marketing strategies, improve products and services, and tailor customer interactions for better results.
For businesses looking to optimize their digital marketing efforts, partnering with the best digital marketing company in Kanpur can be a game-changer. Such a partnership ensures that the data collected by chatbots is effectively analyzed and utilized to enhance marketing campaigns and drive business growth.

Cost Efficiency

Implementing AI-powered chatbots can lead to significant cost savings for businesses. By automating routine customer service tasks, companies can reduce the need for large customer support teams, lowering operational costs. Additionally, the efficiency of chatbots in handling multiple inquiries simultaneously means that fewer resources are required to manage customer interactions, further enhancing cost efficiency.
Investing in chatbot technology, therefore, not only improves customer experience and engagement but also contributes to a healthier bottom line.

Conclusion

The impact of AI-powered chatbots on customer experience and engagement is profound. These intelligent virtual assistants offer numerous benefits, from enhancing customer satisfaction to increasing engagement and streamlining support processes. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, businesses that embrace chatbot technology will be well-positioned to stay ahead of the competition.
To fully capitalize on the advantages of AI-powered chatbots, partnering with the best digital marketing company in Kanpur is essential. With expert guidance and strategic implementation, your business can leverage chatbots to drive growth, improve customer relationships, and achieve long-term success.
By working with the best digital marketing company in Kanpur, you ensure that your chatbot strategy is not only cutting-edge but also aligned with your overall marketing goals, paving the way for sustained success in the competitive digital market.

2024.05.20 08:29 Greedy-Ad5851 forgiving your abusers (kind of vent)

tw: csa, neglect, emotional and physical abuse
whether you choose to or not is your decision, and most people have been through more severe situations than i have so i completely understand why the majority of people go no-contact. this is just my personal experience not advice or a discussion or anything. me, i have a pretty textbook recipe for cptsd: bpd/ocd teen mom and schizophrenic/depressive/npd teen dad. yes they have been professionally diagnosed with all of these things. when i was 3 i told everyone my dad sexually abused me and understandably my dad flipped out so i backtracked and said it was a joke. i have no idea what he did because my mom never witnessed anything and my dad refuses to talk about it without going into a rage and blaming me for my family's divorce and him losing all of his friends. ive been hypersexual since i was about a year old also so i have my suspicions about him either way. my mom got on drugs shortly after the divorce to work 2 jobs in a town about an hour over, so you can imagine i didnt see her much for my childhood-- i only had her mugshot after a police chase and picking her up after she crashed a car because she fell asleep driving to go by for a good 5-7 years. i hated her when she left. i was dead convinced she was a drug addict and a deadbeat because i didnt understand she was doing it for her kids. i lived with my grandparents during that time and they were neglectful as all get out and didn't even care if me and my sibling showered, brushed our teeth, slept at a reasonable time, or even went to school. my mom cared because she would be the one going to jail if we were truants. i was an anxious little kid and told everyone i had the stomach bug instead of going to school but i faked sick too long and my mom would come over in the mornings to drag me by my hair and beat my ass. which just made me more anxious and unwilling to go to school, or go out in public for that matter. probably the worst of my childhood boiled down to when i was 10 and my mom always shit talked my appearance and said i never took care of myself and got fat so she went to buy me new clothes. i was too anxious to even set foot out of the car and kept nervously brushing my hair to self soothe (thought i looked ugly but in retrospect girl u were fidgeting) until she took the brush out of my hand and whacked me on the head with it which caused a whole situation and her fighting to get me out of the car while i was crying. she called the cops and i just so happened to get some douche who got off to scaring the shit out of kids, because he handcuffed me for no reason just to lecture me and tell me to listen to my mom or i'd get sent to "adult prison." fun experience i guess. anyway the rest of my childhood and adolescence was my mom berating me for the smallest things and expecting me to act like a little adult and work and tend to the house AND also somehow have straight As in school, have friends, extracurriculars, and hobbies, but she's not going to financially support any of those hobbies or actually set into motion for me to hang out with friends. the few times i ever hung out with people i went to THEIR house and THEIR parents had to chaperone me around, and my family was just not involved to the point my friends wondered if i even had a mom. not even going to mention the transphobia i faced from my mom, but she took my binder that i bought with my own money and donated it to some rural christian thrift store... even thought itd be hilarious to mention the fact that theyd probably throw it out not even knowing what it was (this is long and melodramatic)
and yet... i still love my family. maybe feel obligated to, even. maybe my dad molested me and if so he's fucking disgusting for it. i don't know why you'd ever touch a baby. i don't know why he'd even have a motive to do so. he didn't really have a motive to cheat on my mom and fight her in front of me as a baby and steal her savings and drive out of state with no notice either. now he's just sad and suicidal and has been for over a decade and he's still hung up over the family he destroyed and apologizes to me anytime he sees me. to me, he's gotten his just desserts: he's a late 30s stoner who still lives with his parents and is still mad at his ex wife a decade later. i will never be close to him for abusing my mom but i genuinely forgive him for what he may have done to me and also the things he actually did to me, like calling me a slut and making me change my clothes and not wear makeup around him and telling me, his 8 year old daughter at the time, that women should be barefoot and pregnant and are also evil cheating jezebels. he still does it occasionally but his words hold no power over me and i think he realizes that so he's become more tolerant and agreeable. my mom basically destroyed any chance of me not fearing intimacy or anything short of perfection or being myself but sometimes she gets drunk and just sobs and hugs me and tells me she's sorry she couldn't do better and i wish she could have at the time when it kind of mattered substantially more to my development, but im proud of how far she's come and that she's trying to be less strict and cruel to toughen me up and make me appear relatively functional and normal, the things she couldn't be at the time. this lowkey turned me into a functional addict and gave me a really bad habit of dissociating and not listening to my needs later in life but its chillin.
after ALL of this forgiving my family for essentially giving me a shit hand at life is pretty rough. but its ultimately helped with my hypervigilance and i dont immediately read everyone's actions as if they are judging me or see me as a burden-- it just takes substantially less than the average person for me to feel that way! maybe i have not healed at all in my behaviors and still act like a sad, scared angry little kid. but i feel less wary of them at the least, and its nice for now.

2024.05.20 08:29 Garry20244 Tongyi Qianwen new version is beyond the GPT-4, Microsoft / WiMi build multi-modal AI productivity

May 9 news, Ali (BABA) in the first anniversary of the release of Tongyi model, Tongyi big model brand upgrade, released Tongyi Qianwen2.5 version, integrated Tongyi model full stack ability, free to provide services for all users.
Performance comprehensively surpassing GPT-4-Turbo
It is said that the performance of the model in the Chinese context comprehensively exceeds GPT-4-Turbo. According to the evaluation results of the authoritative benchmark Open Compass, Tongyi Qianwen2.5 scores GPT-4-Turbo, which is the first time that the China’s large model has achieved such an excellent performance.
In addition to making breakthroughs in basic language models, Tongyi large models have also significantly improved their capabilities in multimodal and proprietary areas, Ali said. Tongyi The multi-modal model realizes a more natural and efficient human-computer interaction through the understanding and generation of visual and speech and other multi-modal information. Tongyi Has also launched a series of customized models for healthcare, education, gaming and other industries to help companies quickly build AI applications.
Indeed, big models have become an important driving force to drive the deep innovation of the digital economy, lead enterprise business changes, and accelerate the formation of new quality productivity. After more than a year of catch-up, the domestic big model has finally entered the core arena of the big model, and can compete with the foreign first-class big model enterprises. Securities research report analysis said that the domestic models and applications continue to exceed expectations, is expected to drive investor confidence.
AI industry become hot and the market is broad
Meanwhile, Microsoft (MSFT) is working on a new AI model called MAI-1. Microsoft’s MAI-1 is known to have 500 billion parameters, suggesting that it could be positioned as some kind of mid-range model between GPT-3 and GPT-4. In terms of performance, it may match Google’s Gemini1.5, Anthropic’s Claude3 and other well-known big models.
And Microsoft may demonstrate the new model at the Build developer conference starting May 21, according to people familiar with the matter. 2024.05.20 08:23 MiBu_3821 Feel in the mood after being blamed

Hi everyone, I'm a software engineer team lead at an AI company. I've been with the company for one year, managing a team of five engineers. About four months ago, the sales team proposed a new product to meet their business goals and attract new contracts. The CEO, a former software engineer, directly instructed our product manager that the engineering team needed to develop a marketable product within two weeks, citing that ChatGPT could write code. It was surprising to hear this from the CEO, who then criticized us for not utilizing ChatGPT for development and suggested that engineers like us were outdated. Despite feeling blamed, I worked with our product manager to create a demo and potential solutions. When we informed the team about the two-week deadline for a new feature, they were unwilling to commit their time. They felt the product manager and I should have managed the CEO's expectations better and avoided unrealistic projects. Since it was a direct request from the CEO, the product manager and I had no choice but to comply. After days of hard work, we finally produced a demo. During the presentation, the CEO quickly became enraged, accusing me of poor leadership and lack of contribution. I was shocked but tried to explain our efforts and demonstrate the demo. Eventually, the CEO approved the project. Oddly, even with the project's approval, I no longer felt excited or a sense of ownership after being unjustly blamed. Shortly after, the sales team changed their strategy, and the new product was canceled. The product manager was disheartened and quit in the spring. I still need this job for economic reasons, but I've lost my passion for it. I'm not sure if this incident is the root cause of my recent feelings of pointlessness at work. Has anyone experienced something similar? How did you handle it?

Unlocking Success with a #ShopifySEOExpert: Why Your E-commerce Store Needs One
In the rapidly evolving world of e-commerce, standing out from the competition is more challenging than ever. As a Shopify store owner, you need every advantage to ensure your products are visible to potential customers. Search engine optimization (SEO) is one of the most effective strategies for driving organic traffic to your store. But mastering SEO can be complex and time-consuming. This is where hiring a #ShopifySEOExpert can make all the difference. Here’s why you should consider this investment for your online business.

1. Understanding Shopify-Specific SEO

https://preview.redd.it/9qosup78yi1d1.png?width=1509&format=png&auto=webp&s=826411180e56fee83e5a4af91b2889157ded1249
While general SEO principles apply across all platforms, Shopify has its unique set of rules and best practices. A Shopify SEO expert understands the intricacies of the platform, from URL structures and schema markup to handling duplicate content and optimizing product pages. This specialized knowledge ensures your store is optimized to meet both Shopify’s and search engines’ requirements, giving you a competitive edge.

2. Optimized Product Pages

Your product pages are the heart of your Shopify store. They need to rank well in search engines to attract potential buyers. A Shopify SEO expert will ensure that each product page is optimized with relevant keywords, high-quality images, compelling product descriptions, and proper meta tags. They also focus on enhancing the user experience, which is a crucial factor for both SEO and conversion rates.

3. Improved Site Speed and Performance

Site speed is a critical ranking factor for search engines and directly impacts user experience. A slow-loading site can lead to higher bounce rates and lost sales. A Shopify SEO expert can identify and fix issues that slow down your site, such as unoptimized images, excessive apps, and inefficient code. By improving your site’s performance, they help boost your search engine rankings and keep visitors engaged.

4. Effective Keyword Strategy

Finding and targeting the right keywords is essential for driving organic traffic to your Shopify store. A Shopify SEO expert conducts thorough keyword research to identify the terms your potential customers are using to find products like yours. They then implement these keywords strategically across your site, including in titles, descriptions, headings, and alt texts, ensuring your content is both search engine and user-friendly.

5. Content Marketing and Link Building

Creating valuable content and earning high-quality backlinks are vital components of a successful SEO strategy. A Shopify SEO expert can help you develop a content marketing plan that includes blog posts, guides, and other resources that attract and engage your target audience. They also work on building a strong backlink profile by reaching out to relevant websites and influencers, further enhancing your site’s authority and search engine rankings.

6. Technical SEO and Site Architecture

Technical SEO involves optimizing your site’s infrastructure to make it easier for search engines to crawl and index your pages. A Shopify SEO expert will audit your site’s technical aspects, including XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, and internal linking structures. They ensure that your site architecture is clean and logical, helping search engines understand and rank your content better.

7. Ongoing Monitoring and Optimization

SEO is not a one-time task but an ongoing process. A Shopify SEO expert continually monitors your site’s performance, analyzing data and making necessary adjustments to your strategy. They stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes, ensuring your store remains competitive in search engine results.

Conclusion

Investing in a Shopify SEO expert is a smart move for any e-commerce business looking to increase its online visibility and drive more organic traffic. At CompleteGurus, we have a team of skilled SEO professionals who specialize in Shopify and are dedicated to helping you achieve your business goals. By optimizing your store for search engines, we ensure that your products reach the right audience, ultimately boosting your sales and growth.

2024.05.20 08:14 Super_D_89 Some of the best MM romance stories I have read are fanfics

I am strictly talking about at least 50-80k plus words of fanfics on AO3 that will translate to roughly 200-300 pages in published books.
I myself have posted similarly on AO3 before that ignited quite a bit of discussion. I only started to read published MM romance books late last year and I think some of the best MM romance stories I have read are fanfics. Here were some of my rambling thoughts.
  1. Fanfics basically cannot be commercially published because of apparent copyright issue. Since fanfic characters are based on existing ones that already have made some impressions on people’s mind, I would say the writing difficulty is (much) lower than creating original characters that can attract readers? But I also want to say this gives fanfics writers the challenge of how to dig deeper and create new interpretations and arc for these characters, that wouldn’t go too OOC that causes a revolt in the fan base. Therefore, the risk of writing original works are lower.
  2. IMO, the order of quality of plot and characters of fanfics and published works is as follows:
Top published work > top fanfics >= above average published work > average published work >>> average fanfics
In order to publish, of course the average writing quality is much higher than generic fanfic writers. But all the published authors start from generic writers themselves. A lot of the time besides skill and creativity, it is dedication and fortune that decide if one becomes a professional writer.
I have read some Harvey/Mike fanfics based on Suits that are 220k words long for the entire series that totally blew my mind. I don’t read any Harry Potter fanfics but the controversial yet popular Draco/Hermione community has been a thing since the early days of widespread internet and spun nearly three decades now. I am personally very interested in Hawaii Five-O and The Man from UNCLE fandoms which are small, but have produced some of the longest, most intense slow burn, and most solid plot, character development, and writing I have ever read in any books, including all these big name classics. Sometimes it feels quite lonely that you don’t have others to share these amazing fanfics you read because the fandoms are so small.
The aforementioned reader loneliness actually points out a major disadvantage of fanfics, that almost all of them require your solid knowledge of the fandoms, which original published works don’t. But again as previously said, building such a new universe is a daunting challenge itself.
So far I only know Zero At The Bone was originally an AU fanfic of Brokeback Mountain that was later published and became quite a success. However, this book is basically not related to the BBM at all except one character has the same first name.
So if you can share some of fanfics you have read that rival or even excel some good published work, that would be great. Also, I’m curious if people think fanfics should be able to be published commercially, if copyright permissions are granted.
P.S. Almost forgot to mention, because vast majority of the MM fanfics are not based on canon lore, it is both a challenge and a blessing to make your head canon into some authentic and convincing plot lines.

2024.05.20 08:13 AutonomousBeing229 Should I choose Frontend dev or SDET?

I (24F) was working as an SDET in a product company for 2 years and after a year I started thinking this was boring and should go for something else. And since I had this fear of coding from my college, not that i code bad but it was because few of my friends were from CBSE who started coding from school and would talk things about coding that i never understood a word, because of which I developed this fear and feeling inferior that i know nothing about coding which im still not able to overcome. Also because of which when i got placed in 3 companies in my college, i picked testing because the other 2 were developer roles. Even in my job, we had automation but it was not that tough so it was not a big deal to code daily. So because it felt boring and I wanted to do non-coding job, I enrolled myself in a UX workshop which was about for a week but didnt feel it was for me. Then after few months, I came across a Frontend dev course or something (dont remember), then i recalled i really loved building web pages in my college, so i thought of just picking up and studying html, css again and i gave it a serious thought about becoming a Frontend dev and started learning JavaScript, and i liked it. So when I wanted to pursue frontend development I didnt really think about my fear of coding anoll. So i found it difficult with my job to complete this course, because there were less people in my team, and we worked 10 hours a day and sometimes even on weekends for technical support, and i felt drained most of the time after i came home. So I left my job last september and continued this course, which i really loved doing, built some projects and learnt a lot during the process and I really liked doing this. But since im now applying for jobs and giving interviews, this fear has started kicking in again like not letting me sleep and anxious all the time. I also think a lot about how much I should learn a lot compared to SDET and the complexity of problems that i'll face, DSA, System Design and preparing all these, each time i switch a job if i was an SDE and that too for a long run. Im feeling confused and thinking if i should go back to being an SDET. Also since i studied this language from scratch, it has also changed how I see coding and i think if Im going back i could learn Java again and would know better than my pervious SDET self. Can anyone who understands this please help me with some advice?

2024.05.20 08:12 manturgekarruhi Population Health Management: A Comprehensive Approach to Better Health Outcomes

Hey Reddit!
I wanted to share some insights on Population Health Management (PHM), a concept that's increasingly vital in today's healthcare landscape. Whether you're in the industry or simply a health-conscious individual, understanding PHM can provide valuable context for current trends and future developments in healthcare.

What is Population Health Management?

Population Health Management refers to the collection and analysis of health data from a specific population to improve the health outcomes of that group. It's about identifying patterns, managing chronic diseases, and implementing preventive measures. The goal is to provide better care at a lower cost by targeting health interventions more effectively.

Why is PHM Important?

  1. Improved Health Outcomes: By focusing on the health of entire populations, PHM aims to reduce the incidence of chronic diseases, manage existing conditions more effectively, and improve overall health and well-being.
  2. Cost Efficiency: PHM helps in reducing healthcare costs by preventing diseases through early intervention and efficient management of chronic conditions, thereby reducing the need for expensive treatments and hospitalizations.
  3. Data-Driven Decisions: Leveraging big data and advanced analytics allows healthcare providers to make informed decisions, tailor interventions to specific populations, and measure the effectiveness of these interventions.
  4. Patient-Centered Care: PHM emphasizes a holistic approach to patient care, considering not just medical history but also social, economic, and behavioral factors that affect health.

Key Components of PHM

  1. Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering health data from electronic health records (EHRs), patient surveys, and other sources to identify trends and risk factors within a population.
  2. Risk Stratification: Classifying the population based on health risks to prioritize care for those who need it most.
  3. Care Coordination: Ensuring that all members of the healthcare team are working together efficiently, with seamless communication and shared goals.
  4. Patient Engagement: Encouraging patients to take an active role in their health through education, support, and resources tailored to their needs.
  5. Performance Measurement: Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and strategies to improve and adapt them over time.

Challenges and Future Directions

While PHM offers numerous benefits, it also faces challenges such as data privacy concerns, integration of disparate data sources, and ensuring equitable access to care. However, with advancements in technology and growing emphasis on value-based care, PHM is poised to become a cornerstone of modern healthcare.

How You Can Be Involved

  1. Stay Informed: Keep up with the latest trends and research in PHM.
  2. Advocate for Data Privacy: Support policies and practices that protect patient data.
  3. Engage in Your Health: Utilize resources provided by healthcare providers to manage your health proactively.
  4. Community Involvement: Participate in local health initiatives and support efforts aimed at improving public health.
PHM is not just a healthcare strategy; it's a movement towards a healthier future for everyone. By understanding and supporting PHM, we can contribute to a system that prioritizes preventive care, efficient management of chronic diseases, and overall better health outcomes.
Feel free to share your thoughts or ask questions about Population Health Management. Let's discuss how we can all play a part in this transformative approach to healthcare!

Snipers have become widely known for their astonishing ability to complete tasks, including using powerful weapons or modern equipment to operate in many different terrains. Thus, this article will introduce Sniper 3D Assassin, a perfect choice to explore the work and process of becoming a professional sniper. It also comes with many surprises to make the gameplay more exciting and engaging, even using a high-quality 3D graphics engine to have a realistic and thrilling experience when assassinating essential targets.

INTRIGUING STATIONARY SNIPER GAMEPLAY

When players come to Sniper 3D Assassin, they will have access to a massive mission system, including mini-games or extra activities to explore when they become a sniper. However, every process is applied with a stationary gameplay style, and players will be placed in ideal locations to complete missions perfectly. Despite that, the game has a perfect control mechanism, and players will be given a few special skills to destroy targets and even meet a few particular challenges. While assassinating important targets, players also have to take advantage of environmental factors to hide corpses, assassinate targets silently, even create stylish death patterns to earn more points.

AUTHENTIC AND WELL-OPTIMIZED 3D GRAPHICS

Besides realistic and straightforward gameplay, the game’s graphics use a perfect engine and absolute optimization to make every device operate smoothly. Also, its environments developed with detailed physics effects, allowing players to become creative to eliminate targets with environmental elements and more. Many weather factors can also affect the player’s assassination performance, so each mission has detailed instructions and recommended equipment. The influence of graphics is huge on gameplay, including stimulating the player’s experience and feeling to new heights for the stationary gameplay genre.

ASSASSINATE VARIOUS HIGH-VALUE TARGETS

The objective in each mission is simple; that is, the player needs to assassinate high-value targets or complete all objectives in some special mission. Sniper 3D Assassin will also introduce many new types of maps or situations to test the player’s processing and analysis ability before pulling the trigger. Besides, the player’s score also determines the quality of the reward, so they can optimize each shot, thereby achieving the absolute score before destroying the targets. However, some targets can become invisible from the screen, so some special skills or equipment can help them make impossible shots. The variety of goals in the game’s system is the most outstanding feature, as it constantly creates a lot of motivation or gives them many discoveries in the gameplay.

UNLOCK AND UPGRADE YOUR PRECIOUS RIFLES

Since the player’s mission is to assassinate from a great distance, their main weapon will be sniper rifles with impressive design and performance. They are all based on real-world weapons, and the game will make them more impressive when continuously leveled up or used in many missions. Above all, they all have unique abilities, suitable for use in many special situations or allowing players to take advantage of all skills to create artistic deaths for enemies. In addition, the weapon’s upgrade system is simple. Still, it has depth, and at the same time, allows players to customize the appearance so that they have the most relaxing and comfortable feeling when using their favorite weapon.

UNIQUE CHALLENGES AND EVENTS FOR GENEROUS PRIZES

Sniper 3D Assassin is an online game, so it will have many events or special challenges along with generous rewards to help players progress further in the gameplay. Moreover, the sub-modes will make the gameplay more vibrant, as players will have many other things to do instead of waiting or researching artistic ways to kill people. Of course, their rewards are generous, including pieces of equipment or weapons to craft or upgrade all the resources they own.

COMPETE WITH FRIENDS AND WORLDWIDE

The game will integrate a score and leaderboard system, where players find themselves among other professional snipers. Also, they can invite friends and challenge them to get the highest score or register themselves on the international scoreboard for many impressive rewards that only the winners have. Not stopping there, but every achievement will unlock and give players more content to enjoy the game to the fullest.
The realism and thrilling of Sniper 3D Assassin have always been a favorite for a long time, as it always gives players impressive equipment or weapons, along with complex and attractive missions. Moreover, it also creates the opportunity for everyone to compete against each other and stimulates their gameplay experience thanks to the realistic and vivid 3D graphics quality.

KEY FEATURES

  • Over 150 Sniper Rifles and other weapons may be collected and upgraded.
  • Create the most effective weaponry; gain new weapons and exciting upgrades for ammunition and grip, as well as unique powers.
  • Graphics in 3D that are really realistic
  • Controls for the game are simple and intuitive.
  • Play with other players as sniper assassins compete against one other from all around the globe.
  • Tactics are encouraged with exciting objectives in solo mode, or go online for all-out multiplayer combat.
  • Save hostages while while rising through the ranks to become the army’s most lethal sniper killer.
  • It is possible to play both pvp online and offline.

2024.05.20 08:06 Disastrous_Bench_582 Moving in together after one year

I 28m have been in a long distance relationship with my gf 27f. We live 100miles away from each other and after one year of weekends/extended weekends, we are rehearsing living together (spending 1-2 weeks together at her or my place). The ultimate goal should be moving in together and realocating to a different country September this year.
The challenge is that I already observe potential pitfals which make me more hesitant that excited about the next phase of our relationship.
My gf is extremely anxious personality with random panick attacks (sometimes connected with physical symptoms like throwing up), she uses running as a coping mechanism, prefers sleeping in a bright room without curtains and early waking up (6-7am) on weekends as well, which is unacceptable for me. She sees therapist because of her panick attacks but those sessions are not very regular. Moreover, she talks about her work way too much. All this creates exhausting environment for me and I look forward to the moment when she leaves, after 2 weeks of rehearsing, and I have time for myself to recharge.
After years of my previous self-awareness journey and therapy, I know who I am and I don't want to change my personality traits I am comfortable with. On the other side, I don't want my gf to change her habits and bent her behaviour just to meet my needs which would mean unhappines for her in the long run. I love her but she is more attached to me than I am attached to her. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but I'd hate to live in dishonesty and rob ourselves of opportunity to find better suited partners for us.
This is my longest and the most serious relationship and I have never been in a situation like this, therefore it is uncharter territory for me.
The key questions is - do you think this relationship can work? Is my hesitation normal and these differences could be worked out when living together? How would you approach this?
Tl,dr: should I move in with my girlfriend after one year if I am already hesitant and there are huge differences in our routines?
Thank you!
