To celebrate AAPI Heritage month, I thought I would create an All-Pro team to show just how good a team of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders would be, considering how small of a minority they are in the NFL.
For the starters, I prioritized veteran players when available, but some Rookies, such as Dominic Puni and Laiatu Latu were given the start as I believe they would be the best player at that position despite not taking an NFL snap yet (The Cooper DeJean Rule).
There are some names left out who are just noted as an asterisk in the team breakdown, simply because they either haven't played meaningful snaps in the past few seasons (EG Bradlee Anae), or they are just not that good in a loaded position class
No real Fullback in 2024, so I went with a \"thunder and lightning\" backfield depth chart.
Corners are a stretch, Bynum played CB in college, Gilman is a good Nickle. Most other guys are Safeties filling voids. Ka'imi Fairbairn has had 2 career Punts, thats good enough for me.
New England's shift from small white guys to AAPI players was a surprise when doing this research. Dan Campbell seems to be gathering a lot of these players to create a great culture for his football team.

I guess I would say I’m pretty new to my ED, but I’m glad I found my way here before any of those Pro ED places, since I think that would have escalated my situation so fast into someting really bad. My mom has suggested that I seem like I have ana, and I just strongly denied it to her, and just completely ingored the guestion about the scale I took in my room, that she had found a little while ago. It’s terrifying that other people seem to notice changes in me that I myself downplay in my head so much. I feel like I am sort of slipping in and out of complete denial of having any sort of eating related issues. Some days I’m just like 100% convinced I don’t have a problem because I ate a little bit of a fear food of mine and didn’t completely lose my shit over it, of maybe didn’t track the exact amount of calories I ate. Other days I’m only in denial when it comes to other people, and in my head I literally think of things like ”do I look like I have ana? Do I act disordered? Does everyone notice?” When I’m in the school cafeteria eating insanely slowly or in the grocery store bying safe foods. This also comes with my distorted body image. I sort of have like short moments of lucidity where I actually see what other people see in me when I look in the mirror, but then slip back into seeing only fat. And it’s like my brain is constantly telling me I’m making this all up and I could literally stop any moment I wanted to and it’s not a problem because I literally eat lol. This is some unfinished thought of mine and idk really I could go on and on about this but maybe this post is long enough already so yeah… Am I just making this up or do I actually have a problem…?

So I've had health issues for 20 years ever since getting h.pylori and it going untreated for 6+ months. I also have IBS, had PCOS and in 2022 yeeted my uterus and all its little friends. (It had everything hut cancer growing in it )
Before my hysterectomy my colon spasms went to a ridiculous level and they put me on muscle relaxers for it. Still have issues to this day, when my estrogen dips low it flares it up.
I've had post exertion malaise for years but thought it was just my wonky body.
Last Nov I got my 6th 'rona shot (I'm pro science and doctors). I sailed thru the first five shots with nary an issue other than a sore arm. I thought I sailed thru the 6th one as well until 48 hours had passed and the colon spasms of death hit me. I ended up being off work miderabl in pain, exhausted, nauseated, you name it for two months. When I went back to work after Christmas I was still exhausted and still am to this day.
Im at the point where I only work two days a week, (I'm a private music teacher) and teaching one day wears me out . Shoot just showering and putting on makeup does me in most days.
I got a referral to an Endocrinologist and saw her and went thru testing for Cushings and Lupus. Negative on both but have a positive ANA that is speckled. She referred me to a Rheumatologist to try and figure out what is going on with my body. But the rheumatologist won't make an apt with me until I have a diagnosis and supporting evidence. Who exactly is supposed to diagnose me Sir? I'm trying to find out what I have! SO frustrating.
Apparently I should have went to med school because now I'm having to be my own doctor and do all the research which is great when youre exhausted and barely functioning.
My Endo thinks (and I agree) that the last shot woke something up in me or activated/flare up an existing autoimmune disease. But what, we don't know. And again I'm pro science and vaccines so please don't think I'm some crazy nut job.
All that to say, does anyone have any suggestions on things to test? My PCP is great about ordering whatever labs I ask for. Endo couldn't order the ENA panel bc of INS so PCP had to order it. I really thought I had lupus so to find out I didn't, and be back at square one is really disheartening.
I just want to be able to live my life a little bit more than constantly being on the couch or in bed.

I really like Ana Kasparian, and not just because she's hot, but I also like her political takes as well.
I'm a bit worried that she might go full blown MAGA grifter though for a few reasons.
For one, she's part of The Young Turks which is notorious for having horseshoe theory liberals that end up becoming "classical liberals" AKA far right republicans (Jimmy Dore, Dave Rubin and I'm sure there are others).
She's also taken some slightly TERF positions. Some of her arguments against trans-activist seem a bit like a straw man. She says she's angry about the term "birther-person" but how many transwomen or anyone seriously suggest that women should be referred to as "birthing-person?" I think if they exist at all they have to be so far on the fringe that they're basically just clowns that everyone can ignore.
What concerns me more is her absolute refusal to support Biden, even when the nation is at serious risk of falling into Authoritarianism.
I don't know what caused this but if I had to guess, I think it has something to do with her anger over liberals because of homeless people in California. I heard she was sexually assaulted which is atrocious, but the right wing's position on homeless people is so cruel (basically concentration camps) that it would hurt a lot of innocent homeless people as well. Surely there needs to be more discussion about how to handle this problem but she's kidding herself if she thinks Republicans have a better solution.
On the bright side, Ana Kasparian still holds a lot of left-wing views such as being pro-choice, pro-vaccine (I know that shouldn't be a political view, but republicans made it so), pro-gay rights, and she's against tax cuts for the rich. So maybe she'll stay left of center without going full blown Chud.

I'm just so used to her being like this at this point. She was sleeping so I thought it was safe to purge, only for her to bang at the bathroom door demanding I open up. I do so and she immediately asks "why am I purging". There's nothing I can really do to lie, so I just keep quiet at this point and let her rant at me. She started loudly praying for me in a really condescending way (She's extremely religious) and then said that "don't you know it's weak people who purge?" "You go to the gym four times a week, you work out, why are you purging? Weak men purge to lose weight, strong men lift weights and do cardio" (Casually ignoring the fact that so many of the top bodybuilders and the gym community in general has men who struggle with undiagnosed eating disorders). I eventually couldn't take it any longer and just cut her off and asked her if she was done talking. I told her, "you find out your son has an eating disorder and this is how you treat him?" To which she fucking said, "you don't have an eating disorder, it's just your impulsive mindset , when did this start?"
I've had binge eating disorder since I was a child and was almost obese, in Grade 10, bullying from others got so bad I became extremely self-conscious about my weight and appearance and developed anorexia that got so bad I got put into pseudo- forced recovery by my uncle. This made me start chewing and spitting my food, and now I'm Ana-b/p. I was fasting just previously, and broke it by eating three persons worth of spaghetti, then I rushed to the bathroom to quickly puke my guts out while my mom was asleep so it wouldn't cause any issues cause nobody else was in the house. Then she wakes up and blames me for all my problems. She's done this for almost all my mental health problems, she didn't even believe I could be mentally ill until I tried to fucking kill myself a few months ago which is when she finally agreed to put me into therapy.
I have severe body dysmorphia, everything about my appearance makes me feel fat, even though I'm technically at a healthy BMI. People around me tell me I'm good-looking, but if I were to rate myself, I would genuinely put myself at a 3 or 4. I have genuinely considered saving up to get a shit ton of plastic surgery done so I can finally escape being ugly. I feel like the only way for me to cure this is to become "beautiful" by being skinny and fit, which is why I work out, but my eating disorder still stays with me because of how I view myself
It's insane because when she caught me self-harming (which I've stopped now) her response was infinitely more compassionate. She didn't even shame me for my scars, but god forbid her firstborn son have a motherfucking eating disorder.
I'm not Pro-ED. I hate my fucking eating disorder, I hate that every fucking time I purge the death clock for my internal organs and my teeth speeds up, I hate that I'll eventually just fucking vomit blood, I hate that the alternative eating disorder is to starve and die or binge and become obese like I was in my childhood and be bullied for it again. But my mom doesn't even make me feel human. I feel like I'm just a fucking thorn in her side and a failure of a firstborn son.

Sorry it's so late this week. I'm an ex Seoul Dynasty player as well and I was a bit too busy so I kind of just listened to all for it and then got way too busy for a few days with work. Tobi: If I'm clarifying a bit the split rosters was more of a season 2 decision with an A team and B team where eventually the roster mixed together. Biggest issue was the coaches couldn't agree. So sometimes they would just take turns like coach A gets to decide today then coach B gets to decide what to do and then coach c.
NineK: I heard you basically did that with a new coach per stage.
Rush: Who was your head coach?
Tobi: 4 coaches + extras
Aid: How did you decide who played what?
Tobi: Honestly the meta was so hard locked at the time the biggest issue was the coaches disagreed how we should play and it was very confusing how we should do it. We basically went back and forth with a coach of the day deciding what we did.
NineK: Too many games too. That's how Shanghai went 0-40 cause there was way too much. Not to mention no one wanted to scrim them cause it's not like you wanted to be their first victory either.

It's mostly because of the comms cause obviously Miro had better mechanics Jehong sucks at primaling too but he would take space well and call out commands for the team to help

Tobi: At the time role lock got forced and doomfist hanzo reaper were good. At the time we were kind of really good in scrims but lost to a team in tournament we never lost too in scrims. Jehong was already out there crying and I didn't want to come out and Danny kept forcing me to come out even though I said I didn't want too. But I was afraid the broadcast would get delayed or ruined cause of me so I was forced to.
Ninek: At the time we were preparing for our game up right after them but our GM was so fuxking angry at the time like how could you force them to do this right after they lost he complained a lot to Blizzard. Cause just imagine, thank God you brought out two veterans and media trained players. Imagine if you brought out complete noobies if it was this hard for these 2 veterans imagine what they might let slip on a broadcast when emotions are this high. This is also right after their season ended and they were officially eliminated.
Rush: From Blizzards POV these 2 were icons of the game and they probably felt like they could really show the importance and feelings toward this game to the audience watching

Tobi: We lost to Spark because of that. We felt awful cause this is something we thought could happen but ignored. At the time Marvel was our Sigma and Michelle who was a traditional offtank was forced on Orisa. We had Fissure who was good at Orisa who retired so we had no Orisas.

NineK: No wonder you felt so many emotions. I was so sad seeing this. Seoul was honestly so good in season 2 but always somehow was just one step short. It hurt my heart to see them.

Tobi: We didn't get ahead of ourselves Shanghai was always good at Gibraltr and we thought we would lose this map but win the rest for a 4-1. I'm not sure how we lost Busan though

Tobi: But the thing to note is we did well in the West before we were forced to go to Korea and beat Glads and Valiant. We won like all of our scrims at the time.

Rush: Seoul was honestly really good during the online era
Aid: What did you think of the Hog meta?
Tobi: I was a huge doubter. Like at the time it was Zarya Hog or Sigma Hog. It just had none of the fundamentals of Overwatch I was used to seeing. I just couldn't believe it.
NineK: Tobis a purist "where do you come from thinking Hog could ever be a main tank"
Tobi: His ability to take space was unreal at the time. But Gesture was really into it and Wizardhyeong pushed for it

NineK: I don't know Shanghais reasoning but I know Shock played how they did cause Viol2t fucking sucked at Ana lol. The thing is he did win with it but his scrim results as Ana was terrible

I don't know how much I should say when there's no Shock rep from the time here but as far as I Know Super wasn't supposed to play. Smurf was but he didn't fit with his playstyle and the team well enough at the time
Tobi: If I have to point out regrets in the Shock game it was not using Zenyatta on Busan

Tobi: No this was when Ashe was super broken and Profit was really good at her

Topic 6 Coach Tobi
Aid: You came back after being a player for Fusion to being Head Coach of Seoul Dynasty how was that for you?
Tobi: I kind of just stopped feeling the desire to compete like "I definitely can still compete mechanically but guess it might just not work out from here"
Tobi: Was worried that newer players he hadn't yet played with wouldn't follow his leadership well
Aid: So who was the player who least listened to you
Tobi: Everyone below me followed very well
Aid: So did you work well with the other coaches given it was mentioned there were previously conflicting visions?
Tobi: Oh these people were later coaches and we had very good talks together and worked well together

Tobi: There were a lot of regrets weren't there?
NineK: The biggest problem for me was I didn't know we would be playing in Korea when I made the roster and heard it from someone from another team.
NineK: I felt sorry to Carpe for that. He's like Seoul where certain key moments not working out it feels like de-railed everything for him.
Aid: What did you think when you joined and first got to know NineK?
Tobi: When I joined I did so because I heard so much good stuff about him. Like he just knows a lot about Overwatch so I was curious about him and learned a lot. There's Crusty NineK Moon and Rush that are the coaches that are very well talked about that I was curious about. I got to meet NineK and Wow I'd never believed someone could get so angry over this game he would slam on the desk yelling while coaching. But the thing was while doing that he would always be right about what he's saying

Aid: Is one of the reasons you wanted to beat Seoul no matter what because you didn't get to recruit Tobi?
Moon: No actually around that time I got in a lot of trouble with my wife. She said I talked to Tobi more than her. This was before we signed LeeJaeGon
Tobi: In 2020 season Shanghai actually had a lot of players I wanted to play with. Fleta Lip and such. As well as just giving a better offer out right.

Tobi: Yeah always keeps contact with him too. But I really wanted to run it back with Ryujehong one last time because of the regrets of our last 2 seasons together to redeem ourselves. But he ended up choosing Vancouver and as I ended up wanting to go to Shanghai instead, they ended up already getting LeeJaeGon instead
Aid: Man the timing has just never worked out for Tobi
NineK: When he was on Fusion with me he used to always joke "damn if I was on Shanghai at least I could've been winning while benched"
Moon: So at the time LeeJaeGon and Tobi were my first choices but LJG told me he didn't want to join because he wanted to go to Mayhem with other Runaway members and then Tobi was looking at Seoul so I almost ended up with no one. But eventually LeeJaeGon chose us and tobi reached out the day after that.
NineK: So you regret not getting Tobi?
Moon: I mean you can't argue this given our results...
Tobi: They did so well
NineK: Tobi would've made the team fun for you though. That season was really bad for us but we had a lot of fun
Topic 8: Seoul vs Shanghai KickOff Clash
Aid: It looked like Seoul was happier beating Shanghai in winners finals than beating Philly in finals
Moon: The thing was the situation was so terrible for us at this time. We were quarantined with nothing.
Tobi: This team was the one we wanted to beat more than anyone else. It's why Profit was crying at the end of it all.
Moon: I will say their strats against us were very good they deserved the win regardless of what circumstances we had
Tobi: This gave me PTSD cause there was a moment when we were reverse swept in May Melee where Bdosin got pulsed with Rally. I told Vindsim no matter what to hold your shield up when he has it and in this one moment in the VOD he got stuck by fleta but thankfully Profit clutched
NineK: I will say when we got to the Hawaii LAN Shock picked you guys at Shanghai and I'll just say I didn't want to pick you.
Aid: Ahh it was the eternal rivals (implying Crusty chose Shanghai for revenge)
Moon: This time was really tough for us and we had a bunch of retirements after this. I think we thought more about what we would get to eat the next day or when we would be able to go to a Koreatown for the food we missed

Moon: Honestly it was the hardest times for us.

Tobi: So you know there are things a lot of us say behind the scenes about coaches right? Like this guy is more of just a caretaker or this guy is more just strategies but I really wanted to be the coach who wouldn't have players feel bad I was their Coach. It's why I asked for a lot of help from previous coaches I worked under. I wanted all of my least favorite aspects of coaches I've seen in the past to not be things my players go through I let them all speak casually to me so they wouldn't be uncomfortable with me
NineK: Moon has the opposite take. He said his players can never act chummy with him and will always refer to him as coach
Tobi: My feelings were that I had previously worked with a lot of these players in the past so it feels okay

Tobi: Probably to be sure of yourself and confident in your play and your decision. I used to basically fly to whoever screamed for help no matter who was in a bad position trying to help. I definitely learned afterwards and worked really hard to improve my Mercy
NineK: I remember at that time Yobi worked really hard to improve his Mercy and it was really good I agree. It's sad to hear given how things went for Seoul but it is a cool answer

The answer is Krillin said during Washington he got to try a bunch of heroes and LeeSooMin was pretty decent at Kirik at the time. I had worked one year with Vindaim and it was good for us so I hoped for the same to happen. The initial meta was good for us too until we hit the Sombra meta

Moon: Ooh how did you feel about Prophet being on your team and then once he was dropped and went to 02Blast losing to him?
Tobi: He was good but the thing is whatever we put him on just didn't fit with how the team played and the Sombra meta was at its peak as well. We were tired and he was tired cause it just wasn't the best fit for either of us. I wanted him to keep doing well so I could be confident it was just a mismatch and that my scouting ability was still good. But then the meta swapped to like Widow Hanzo.
Moon: Oh wait so once again it's a choice Tobi made he regrets...
Tobi: Well no technically in the last game versus them we did win to be fair. Honestly though when he did win damn I felt low key a little bit upset/betrayed

Tobi: During Lunatic Hai I would on game days only eat noodle dishes and then we would win. I'd wear the same pair of socks for all the big games as well. But then I went to the League and kept losing and none of that stuff applied anymore

Tobi: Oh that? They just played poorly.

Tobi: Yeah they must have been nervous or something we didn't win cause we were better they were just worse that day.
NineK: When Tobi first joined Fusion he actually beat Dynasty and was so happy about it. He was such a good player to have he was on the bench for quite a while initially but kept his mental up and was a very good teammate for us.

(This is gonna be long sorry) when it comes pharmacy I genuinely have tried everything, sure bad pharahs arent a problem but the average/pro pharmacy is so hard to deal with at this point I just pray the match ends faster cause its not a game anymore its just annoying playing against them
I tried playing ana, zen, bap, and life weaver to support the heck out of my dps but unless they're really good and can out damage mercy's heal with three quick headshots while they break their necks looking at pharah ignoring the doom punching them and the mexican purple lady hacking them at the same time, its useless
And If focusing on supporting my dps doesn't work I try to damage her myself, but unless I sold my soul to the devil for constant headshots, its not gonna work, so I tell my tank to play dva and use the matrix on her (which they never really do and just ignore me and keep rein) then we have a slight chance of actually facing these two heros, but the other three will still harass you while ur trying to kill the pharmacy
And I know now someone's gonna say "in high ranks pharmacy dont really stand a chance" well yeah, high ranks mean good aim, but in my rank players aren't exactly top 500, its completely different, pharah DOMINATE low ranks, I suck at playing dps and still can win easily with pharah let alone pharmacy, u just spam rockets in spectator mode, and the skill required to kill pharah is way harder than the skill required to play her and win.
And yes, every hero is annoying with a pocket, but at least they still walk with their team and u dont have to keep looking at the sky terrorized and playing a hitscan even tho u dont enjoy it but its the only way you'll win since its pharah, echo can also fly but she's not as annoying as pharah, she actually comes down and u have ur chance to kill her even as junk, while pharah most vulnerable moment (and if ur not hitscan, probably ur only chance) is her ult, that's insane, I always see people complain about how annoying sombra is, but at least u can still play your main against her no matter what, you just have to be more careful and whatnot
But when its pharah against u, if u main junk, symmetra, torb, mei, hanzo, reaper, venture, genji, tracer, brigitte, lucio, zen, moira, winston, sigma, roadhog, doomfist, ramatra, and life weaver, then u probably gotta change whither u like it or not, its not about being smart with ur abilities or whatever anymore, i dont think its even about having fun anymore cause I literally have never found someone who enjoys playing against pharah, its just a stinky hero that forces you to change while she just flys and have the best time of her life.
And unlike other heros where u can solo kill them as a support, pharmacy requires you to convince your team to focus mercy first, or kill the other healer, or just basically come up with a plan and talk with them buf if you queue as solo support you'll know no one's gonna give a damn what u tell them, they probably wont change into hitscan in the first place, and tbh I dont blame them, u either continue playing ur main and lose, or change into hitscan and probably still lose

I have been playing overwatch for almost over a year now, i started playing comp when i was relatively new and my ratio went so far down. I was hoping the comp reset would help but it didn’t. I play open queue (gold 4) nd slowly getting into role just in an attempt to climb.
I mainly play mercy as support and have 200 hours on her. I’m not a pro but i have all of her tech down besides the hard movement like supersects (not confident enough for it in comp just yet). I also play lifeweaver and trying to learn ana (i struggle to hit sleeps).
I won’t pretend like i’m a saint and it’s my teams fault but i am not sure what else to do to climb. I keep up with my diamond friends and their numbers and try to apply their tips but nothing seems to work atp. I’m looking for general tips for support mains and maybe how to climb. Any advice would help sm!

I’ve been noticing this for awhile but recently the content is so consistent that I can’t go on Twitter without seeing tweets from “eating disorder twitter”. I always flag as uninterested and have been blocking these accounts but more and more of this content is being pushed on not only my feed but my friends too! I’m from the generation of gen z girls who were there for pro Ana tumblr, most of us are recovered adults now so it’s just so disheartening seeing how huge and normalized this community on Twitter is to the point where it’s reached these mass audiences.
I was talking to my friends about it and we’re just like… of course now that we’re recovered and spent a decade learning to love ourselves they want to throw this shit in our faces.
Why is this content being highlighted this much? It’s literally just a bunch of mentally ill teenagers, why would anyone outside of that community need that on their feed?

TL:DR: Playing any dive/rush tank is absolutely miserable as a solo queue experience because their counters require less skill from the opposition and more team coordination from your own teammates
I am seeing a lot of frustration with these static tanks of Orisa, Hog and Mauga from tank players and the community as a whole completely missing why we are frustrated from the ladder experience. I will first discuss why tank players (a small minority given the queue times and statistics we've seen in the past) enjoy certain tanks and the give a flow chart dialogue of what the community expects from their tank player when confronted with static tanks.
1) Dive and rush tanks are fun because they demand thoughtful positioning.
Tanks in OW2 are balanced around highlighting fine tuning these 3 characteristics: mobility, damage and sustainability. We can see that in dive tanks (Winston, DVA, Ball, Doomfist), which trade the other 2 for mobility. Their gameplan is to focus on punishing the enemy positioning by either breaking up enemy clusters or quickly helping with their own team backline. It's a dynamic class of characters that is exciting because of the quick decisions required to be made based on the state of the fight. Rush tanks (Rein, Ram, JQ, Zarya) trade the others in for damage. Though their playstyle requires a bit of set-up to get into the right position to start the brawl, this class of tanks are rewarded by the exciting moment of the fight unleashing onto the enemy. The third class of tanks (Sigma, Hog, Orisa, Mauga) focus on sustaining themselves theoretically in exchange for the other two characteristics, but fail to do so in reality (except for Sigma, who actually has drawbacks in his kit (range, damage) for being able to have a flexible shield, stun and kinetic grasp). The lack of ranged damage should be what stops them, but this drawback doesn't matter because not only can all 3 of the remainder tanks effectively still poke at a distance, they excel the most at close quarters which is the range at which ALL tanks need to be at. The dive tanks and rush tanks are punished for their efforts of taking positioning due to this third class of tanks being able to poke better than them, and then also punish them for coming close. Hog is theoretically supposed to be held back by his lack of range, but his damage reduction lets him brush off the entire team EVEN with an Ana nade (which this argument doesn't even consider Kiriko). Sure Hog can miss his hook, but engagement is still risky because going closer to him only plays into his strong shotgun. Mauga still remains strong (albeit perhaps not as strong as Hog and Orisa) because of his free disengage tool that lets him escape with literally no consequence and his lifesteal makes him unkillable especially when your tank is engaging with him. Combined with the tank passives, this third class of tanks are not only unkillable, you can't even farm ult charge off of them! Whereas dive and rush tanks gain no value from not engaging, the sustain tanks still can poke and benefit even more when they are engaged upon by the other team. Whereas other tanks demand thought in positioning in order to not take unnecessary damage, this class of tanks can, for the most part, be static with their team and not need to take risks because their firepower will easily outlast the other tanks' abilities to engage/disengage.
2) What can be done?
So here I'm going to write a couple suggestions provided by this community in response to dealing with this static class of tanks and then write a flow chart of decisions that are made. (this is assuming anything team-dependant actually goes your way)
A. Suppose you ask the support to switch to Ana and Zen
This further encourages a poke-fest and further benefits the sustain tanks because now you may have potentially lowered your team's healing output. Whether its attack or defense, this situation benefits the enemy team because they can just "outstall" your options.
B. Suppose you ask one of the dps to switch to Echo
Now the enemy team acknowledges you and runs double hitscan to really make sure there's no fun allowed. Now if you did both the first option and this one, then the team struggles even more because of the dps passive. Furthermore, in the first 2 cases, you're forced to further rely on your team to not play out of position as well because despite having an "advantage" with the character choice, one small mistake can lead to a hook, spear, stun that will lead to that player's immediate death.
C. Switch to sustain tank yourself
Well then why would I not start with this in the first place? Let me forgo my will in all of this and become a damage sponge so that in the poke-fest my team can potentially win. The tank is for the most part removed from any decision making because I just stand there, relatively risk free, and poking away until something gives. It is unbelievable that everybody gets to play to go for a kill, but a single person is devoted to doing everything then can to just stay alive and earn the ability to play the game. Why even enjoy the other tanks if all roads lead to Orisa, Hog and Mauga?
D. Play in a stack
I guess I should just schedule rank sessions because that is the amount of dedication I should be putting into a video game. I apologize for my lack of respect to the game and for my inability to find and lead teammates I can call my own.
3) Conclusion
The tank passive completely negates any penalty for playing the sustain tanks, and remove any form of enjoyment from playing other tanks that demand more active decision making. They are the only class of tanks that can reap benefits from both active and passive gameplay, a luxury that the others do not have whatsoever. I personally find it ridiculous that all characters have checks and balances that don't entirely demand on the team (DVA for pharah/echo or Winston, Winston for tracegenji or Sigma, Rein for hitscan or Zarya) yet the only true ability to deal with sustain tank as a tank player is to mirror! I apologize to those I've played with for not playing a static tank when I am being hard countered because I don't want to just gun go brr. To the argument of how pro-play shows that these characters are not dominant, I say: I thought this game wasn't balanced around numbers and pros? It's absolutely frustrating not being allowed to play active tanks, and then further maddening when the community talks about how "simple" the solutions are.
PS. I completely agree with that guy that posted about how OW2 devs definitely are catering towards the sustain tanks because the majority of the playerbase can't seem to play without a tank holding their hand.

Looking for pro tips and recommendations on my upcoming plan.
In August 2026, I will retire from my career at the age of 38 and take an initial six month sabbatical to travel with my family (wife and two kids). In 2026 my kids will be 12 years old (7th grade) and 7 years old (2nd grade) and we plan on using Acellus Academy.

Hi, I'm op, I have an eating disorder. (Hiiii op) First time posting so here we go.
It started when I was 15ish? The pro-ana pro-mia blogs of aincent internet, Tumblr, is where i spent most of my after school life. Continued for a while, I looked fine. Cried when I ate a bite of cake for my birthday. Usual teenager things.
18 years old I get diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
Listen, I'm not sure what happened, I just exploded. Insulin? Idk makes you swell like a balloon or something. I ended up gaining over 100 lbs before I even knew it. So fast i didn't even notice those weren't injection scars, they were stretch marks. Two years go by now. Having to balance blood sugar, eating enough to keep myself from going low, not too much. Binging, purging, and restricting suddenly became a LOT harder. Binge? High blood sugar. Purge? Risk going low. Restrict? Go low.
Eventually, I learned/realized that one of the reasons I wasn't gaining weight before is that undiagnosed diabetes is weight loss. From 20-26 I battled what has been dubbed as Diabulimia. This is the practice of not taking or restricting insulin. At the expense of eyes, toes, kidneys, and of course, with all eating disorders, your life.
I recently was told that I am showing signs of diabetes in my eyes, meaning that if I don't stop soon I will lose my vision.
I've been better with taking the insulin while reverting to pre-diabetes eating disorder habits now that technology has gotten better to keep my blood sugar normal. Only occasionally relapsing into the Diabulimic stuff.
I'm not sure exactly what the point of this post was. Maybe to raise awareness? So many endocrinologists simply aren't aware of this epidemic. I am very fortunate for my current doctors who haven't treated me like a 'bad' diabetic. They see this for what it is, an eating disorder. Thanks for letting me talk:/ I love yall🖤
Tl;dr- Diabulimia is keeping blood sugar high to lose weight and it's been killing me for a long time. I'm so tired of being sick. Two chronic diseases? Fuck me.
