2024.05.20 01:52 First_Dish4182 Baggage Cost
Hello,
I have booked a basic economy flight via Aeroplan points:
Jun 1 - YYZ to DXB on Air Canada.
Jun 10 - DXB to Cairo (2.5 hr layover on Egypt Air) and then to IST (stay for 5 days) on Turkish Airlines.
Jun 15 - IST to Frankfurt via turkish airlines (2.5 hr layover) and then to YYZ on Air Canada. - Jun 15
I have the TD Aeroplan card which allows one free bag for each passenger up to 8 passengers. That gives me the initial YYZ to DXB free.
Now for the other legs of this itinerary would I be charged Air Canada's $75 per bag for first bag or would I be charged Egypt Airs and Turkish Airlines baggage costs? From numerous calls to Air Canada, Egypt Air and Turkish Airlines, no one is giving me a consistent answer. One AC agent stated its the other airlines baggage costs, while another AC agent stated its Air Canada's because they operate the first leg and the entire round trip is on one itinerary. Can somebody clarify?.
Thanks!

Is there any hints earlier in the HBP book that I missed? I reread it and felt it was a bit shoehorned in at the astronomy tower scene, but interested to see if i missed anything.

2024.05.20 01:48 keloyd Nazi Medical Experiments - how much did their scientists/doctors understand real vs. pseudo-science? Was their decision to go along with some of the sadistic nonsense just a smart/cynical career move, or did they 'drink the koolaid' and think it was all real science?
Without going into too much gruesome details, was it as obvious to Nazi scientists as it is to us, or nearly so, when they had a legitimate question to answer and when it was just meaningless sadism? Were there at least a minority of competent scientists who may have gone along with the evil but continued to think scientifically, if only in diaries or private conversations that some talented historians have been able to find?
I ask in part because Annie Jacobson wrote a good book on
Operation Paperclip some time ago and taught me that there was more medical/biological warfare expertise than is widely known in that group, much more than the rocket scientists who served partly as window dressing. She just published something new and unrelated in my library book queue. Some things the medical community did was unambiguously evil but was also rational at some level - consider the hypothermia experiments. With all the soldiers crashing planes into the ocean in the winter, they needed to know more about this and what methods are more helpful in recovery. Even here, one pseudo-scientific method with the German euphemism
animalische Wärme must have made the scientists roll their eyes, and I believe Jacobson mentioned their disbelief even as they performed the experiments at the insistence of upper management. In another (Japanese Unit 731) example, substantial research went into figuring out which mosquito species carried malaria, and how they could survive the elevation and cold to be dropped from bomber planes into enemy territory to spread disease. This is evil, but it is also a rational question that competent people may look into. It is tricky to ignore the evil and human suffering on this subject, but to what extent were the scientists aware of what was real science and what was just meaningless politically motivated sadism?

2024.05.20 01:42 PGal55 Favourite Youtube (and other platforms) creators?
Who are your favourite Tolkien related creators on youtube and why?
(And similarly, with the annoying rise of AI youtube channels, who's going in your block list?)
My personal favourites in no particular order are:
- John Sierra - Tolkien Scholar - very good videos answering questions from quora
- Tolkien Explained - covers a very good variety of topics
- Wizards and Warriors - his battle analysis videos especially are amazing
- Tolkien Untangled - similar to Tolkien Explained, but longer videos, which I usually prefer
- ThePhilosophersGames - another great Tolkien lore general channel
- Realms Unravelled - similar to other channels above - answers and analyzes some interesting topics
- Pamko Ellesar - mainly reciting parts from the Silmarillion and other books, great to listen before you go to sleep

2024.05.20 01:40 badgrapes How do you organize work projects & life admin?
Looking for advice/thoughts on setting up ClickUp to manage both work projects and "life admin." I'm using the Personal Workspace Layout and have no collaborators.
I know that it's helpful to start as simply as possible and add complexity as it becomes actually needed. The thing is, I'm importing a few projects already underway (plus a lot of small tasks of varying value), and want to avoid defaulting to my familiar old systems without assessing whether they're actually working for me, or are a good fit for ClickUp.
Assess my setup and give me feedback on where to go from here! I've included a ton of detail on my current setup below. If it's TL;DR, my more general question is: Tell me how you set up ClickUp to handle both work and life admin projects. How are you using categories, status, priorities, tags, and task types? I'm having trouble figuring out how to use them, especially since there seems to be a lot of potential overlap between them. Or, what advice do you have for migrating to ClickUp with a couple complex projects already underway, plus a lot of small tasks?
For context, here's how I have ClickUp set up right now. It's pretty simple but I'm still not clear whether it's the right approach (and FYI, I'm not wedded to it at all), plus there are still lots of components that don't neatly fit anywhere in my current setup:
- I have ClickUp divided into three spaces: Active Projects (multi-step projects with clear outcomes and/or deliverables), Areas of Focus (task lists divided up by a broader work or life "area"), plus a space I'm ignoring where archived projects and messy old things live..
- Under Active Projects, I have folders for each class I'll be teaching (and because it's summer, right now they're split into prep work for upcoming classes, and wrap-up for the couple last to-do items left over from the spring).
- Under Areas of Focus, I tend to keep lists of professional admin and personal life admin tasks that aren't part of a larger project (like paying bills or rent.
Next, there are a few different types of things I'm trying to plan and keep track of. As mentioned, I'm not really sure how I should be thinking about them through the framework of categories, status, priorities, tags, and task types.
- Active projects with a specific, concrete outcome. Mostly these projects are longer-term things, sometimes with several potential paths they could take depending on results of earlier tasks, but other times they're just 1-2wk projects that have lots of little steps I need to keep track of. Some real-life examples on my list right now:
- Work: Set up a class I'll be teaching in the fall. I need to do a bunch of prep work for this, some of which is pretty clear (set up course homepage and revise syllabus to include XYZ things; revise grade breakdown using these rules, & implement breakdown in Canvas), and other of which is fairly inchoate (e.g. review these five texts and decide which to teach; find an open-source subject-specific text; refine course structure as needed based on the texts I end up using). Then, there are semi-ongoing tasks that will come into play once I'm actually teaching the class (e.g. prep/review the thing I'll be teaching next week; set up assignments due next week so they're ready to go when the start date rolls around; grade assignments X, Y, Z; a weekly review of the syllabus & update deadlines as needed). Then wrap-up tasks that happen pretty routinely at the end of the semester, and one-off "respond to X's grade query email" type tasks. (Many of these things could be part of a template, but I don't need to cross that bridge yet.) How to organize the giant project of "put together, teach, and wrap up X class"? What's the relationship between the big project full of kinda sequential steps and the small "Answer X email" tasks that I mostly put into a project manager so I don't forget about them?
- Work: Various small professional development projects that in the past I've thought of as a series of sequential tasks, e.g. "Apply for X grant" (in this case, small individual artist grants for $1k-$20k, not big, collaboratively-written NSF grants). Under "Apply..." is a list of five different pieces I need to put together, one or two of which will need multiple rounds of refinement, while the rest will be relatively quick and easy. This type of project usually comes together in a couple weeks or less, and typically I'll have several active at once. (I usually have a dozen others on my radar at any given moment, but only decide to apply for 1-2 at any time. I keep up with these deadlines via a Google Sheet and a sticky note on my Mac desktop, and in the past only brought them into a project manager once I'd committed to a specific deadline-driven thing, or if I needed a reminder to check on one that has a deadline that varies annually.)
- Personal: Research summer travel possibilities, map out a timeline that fits scheduling constraints and mode of travel (one subtask that's a small project in and of itself: research buying a fiberglass camper shell for truck, & if that makes sense to do we'll drive, otherwise we'll fly or take the train). This is still in the research stage, so there aren't many actual tasks yet, but will be in a month or so.
- Avocational: Facilitate a large, slow-moving bylaws revision project for an organization I'm involved with. I'm at the beginning stages of this one, but have a pretty good idea of the different stages of this project and what the path to completion will look like. It'll be a big project once it gets off the ground, but for now it's just in the "assembling ideas" stage.
- Ongoing & one-off tasks with varying priority levels (e.g. things I need to do regularly vs. things I'd like to do regularly but don't necessarily get to).
- Necessary Tasks like paying rent and bills, which are typically pretty straightforward and non-negotiable. Also things like updating the finances spreadsheet I share with my partner, which ideally happens weekly but which realistically I don't get around to more than once a month if that.
- One-Off Tasks that start cropping up, especially once the semester is underway (e.g. "Answer X email"). Some of these are essential, others don't need to happen (but should for a smoother semester), and plenty are totally optional but worth doing if I have the time. When I'm bogged down, I don't want to think about those totally optional tasks at all, but when I'm feeling pretty unencumbered, they're worth tending to.
- Other things I can't figure out how to classify/organize:
- Backburner tasks & projects, both work-related and life admin. (How to label and filter backburner tasks that I need to do "soon" vs. "eventually" vs. "maybe, someday, who even knows"?)
- Some of these are important but not yet active (e.g. applying for that aforementioned grant, for instance, which I don't need to actively think about until next spring when the deadline approaches, though I do often start drafting/refining materials in advance, so it's nice to have a clear holding place for those).
- Others are aspirational (for instance, "Organize the garage" is a backburner task that will turn into a full project once I start working on it & actually identifying specific subtasks, e.g. put specific thing on FB Marketplace, or buy a set of storage bins). I'd like to clearly delineate between this sort of thing; I don't need to see "Organize the garage" unless I'm doing a big review of the backburner items once a month or so and moving a handful into active projects/tasks.
- Mosquito tasks: These tasks should happen "soon" or "eventually," but they're not urgent and if they end up never being completed at all, that's usually nbd. Realistically I might do them in the next couple weeks, but probably not in the next few days. These kinds of tasks are helpful to keep in ClickUp so they stay on my radar (and one benefit of that is that for a task like "Email so-and-so to ask X question," I'll often end up drafting half an initial email in a comment, then forgetting about it for a few weeks and coming back to find that email already half-drafted). Mosquito tasks include:
- Reminders (to check on an important or not-so-important upcoming professional deadline that hasn't been posted yet, & to keep doing this until that concrete deadline appears, at which point it turns into an actual task; upcoming birthday reminders; to get a book back from someone who'd borrowed it, etc).
- Personal CRM, my most frequent mosquito task. I've done fieldwork around the world and consider keeping in touch with friends/colleagues/informants from faraway as part of my professional responsibilities (but not urgent whatsoever), so I like to keep these things on my radar without letting them distract me from my active, necessary tasks & projects.
- Ideas, possibilities, and other inchoate things that ended up in ClickUp when I migrated from Todoist, some of which are basically just notes-to-self, and other of which are smaller tasks/projects that I may someday pick back up, all of which I feel sentimental about and don't want to get rid of even though I'm not going to sort through them regularly. These pretty clearly fall under "backburner" and "maybe, someday, who even knows." (Should I break the "Not Started" status into "Backburner: eventually" and "Backburner: maybe, someday, who knows" to delineate these?) Feel free to ignore this category!
- A Morning/Evening Routine that should reset every day, regardless of whether I've checked every item off from the previous day. (This is probably the only sort of task I want to reset like this, and honestly it's pretty low-priority.)
Give me advice on how to organize all these things, please! Or just tell me about your ClickUp setup for work and life admin projects! Or give me advice for migrating to ClickUp with a bunch of tasks and a couple complex projects already underway, rather than starting from complete scratch!

2024.05.20 01:39 PureAmbassador5367 Cross road with Protestantism/Catholicism/ Eastern Orthodoxy
Let me start by saying I know not one person has the answer and I know I will get several opinionated answers, however I would like to hear them all so I can become more knowledge.
Now to start, I’ve grown up “Catholic” (think about those young kids who fell asleep in church - yup that was me) but not very seriously. I’ve recently had a new found faith in college being a pre medical student, I’ve come to a personal realization that this universe is too perfect and demands an intelligent mind when I look at things such as chemical equilibrium, universal gravitational laws, and even the many theories of life that never made sense to me without God playing a role.
Im currently reading the Bible as I was inspired by the channel “ask me a question” by Cliffe Knechtle (I will preface I love this guy lol) to read the Bible as a historical document that accounts about the sinless and morally perfect live of Jesus Christ. Now this is where my questions began to arise.
When I read the Bible I can see how if there were no authoritative figure I could misunderstand the Bible. Hence the reason why I believe there to be so many different Protestant denominations (if I am wrong please correct me). For instance J.W. say Jesus is not God and completely deny his divinity, and I know their interpretation to be wrong. However with Catholicism since there is an authoritative head, if I had a question about the context or true meaning of a verse I could ask a priest or perhaps even a bishop. I would assume they have much more credibility to answer my question as I am assuming the knowledge they have of the Bible is the knowledge that has been passed down from the apostles.
I can see though where people say Catholics follow man made traditions that are not in the Bible. Yet I also think about who were the ones to actually decide what books were considered cannon in the Bible (and I think it was the Catholics who did this - again please correct me if I am wrong).
I didn’t touch too much on Eastern Orthodoxy as I do not have too much knowledge about them so I would like welcome any comments about them! Thank you guys, please know I ask these question humbly, and with an open mind. I just want to praise our Lord Jesus Christ with the respect he deserves and the way the apostles did. Thank you.

2024.05.20 01:38 CatPositive1989 34F [F4M] South America/Online I want to find my forever person :)
Hiya!
I'm Mily, I'm a 34yo lawyer, looking for that special connection in my life. As much I adore the love that my cats give me, I would love to find someone that makes my heart beat really fast, makes me easily and talk about whatever, and it doesn't feel forced.
I work half time, and the rest of the time I'm at home taking care of my mom. I'm still figuring out stuff regarding what I want my life. (I want to pursue a Masters in a couple of years, for example.)
I know that for a lot of people physical attraction is important, so I'm telling you right now that I'm fat or plus size, or whatever you wanna call it.
I love reading. I'm currently finishing "Three Comrades" by Erich Remarque. His book, "All Quiet in the Western Front" is one of my favorite books of all times. It made me cry from start to finish. I haven't watched the movie that came out recently, but maybe we can watch it together?
ESO and Borderlands 2 are my favorite video games currently, and hopefully if we hit it off, we can play it together :)
I'm very socially akward at first, but I think I'm very easy to talk once I feel comfortable with you. I do have very bad anxiety and ADHD, which I'm trying my best to control, lol.
I listen to almost every type of music. No, I don't listen to reggaeton or latin music,, as most of them tend to be degrading towards women and honestly, they don't usually have a good voice.
What am I looking for?
Someone who is around my age, has a job, and shares similar values with me. Someone I can talk to everyday. I prefer VC mostly because I feel it's a better way to get someone better.
I know I live far away from most people here, lol, so I don't know if i'll be able to find someone haha. But maybe you are the kind of person who is open to a Long Distance Relationship, and then we will figure out how to meet.
I'm a left-leaning person and I believe in woman's and LGTB+ rights, so if you don't feel the same way, please don't contact me.
Anyway, if you think we may have something in common, send me a dm please :)
Have a good day!

2024.05.20 01:36 TrumpIsMyGodAndDad Has anyone been accepted with a C- on one of their prereqs?
Hello all. Got a question whose answer will either make me very happy or extremely sad, no in between. As the title says, has anyone been accepted with a C- in a prerequisite? If yes, then were there any other factors that helped you? Retaking, advanced degree, etc? If no, did they reject you outright or did they say a passing grade had to be obtained by matriculation?
I got a C- in Orgo 2 and that is the only C grade I have ever received. I do have a Master’s degree in a science concentration that had med-school level classes. Do I have any options or will i have to retake?
I appreciate any advice or perspectives. Just trying to reduce any additional headaches in this horrible process lol.

2024.05.20 01:32 UnlikelyUkulele Mystagogus Interpretations
Hi folks,
Wondering if any generous souls might be willing to give me their two cents on two layouts I did this morning. The relevant background here (confirmed with another reading) is that I'm currently part of a destruction dynamic going on with my current employer (whom I'm trying to leave asap) and I believe that business is going under. Approx. six months ago, I did some readings which seemingly indicated a destruction dynamic and I asked for clarification here. Some kind people interpreted the spreads as saying to lay low for a while, which I've been doing until very recently when I've felt called to do some divination.
For what its worth, based on the water of life card appearing frequently, it seems I'm on my correct path and healing, if that helps as additional context.
In a yes/no reading from the Tarot Skills for the 21st century:
"Is there an available curriculum of magical learning which would provide more net benefit to my life than Quareia?" (what I was trying to get at was whether, overall, there was a program that might be a better fit - I haven't come across it and remain very interest in Quareia and generally a big fan of JMC).
Answer:
- What the question is about: Magical Death
- The relevant past: Underworld
- Difficulties to be overcome: Dreams
- Help you are given: Partnership
- The future outcome/what the answer will lead to: Hidden Knowledge
- The answer: Ghost
I had and have no idea how to read the Ghost here as an answer. I believe from other divination that the destructive dynamic going on at work (of which I'm seemingly a necessary part) is underworld related (which may be a duh for some folks, apologies, but I know nothing).
So because I found this really confusing, I did a clarifying reading with the tree of life layout used in the same book, and asked: "Is the Ghost card in the prior reading telling me there is a spirit of a dead person around me or the situation?"
- What the story is about: Stargazers
- Positive or giving aspect forming the story: Fate Weavers
- What is hidden or past that has bearing on the story: Leadership
- What is necessary for the story to develop: Unraveller
- What is withheld from the story or being taken away: East Gate
- The pivotal aspect of the story: Inner Desert
- What needs discipline or limiting for success: True Justice
- What needs relaxing to flow: Service
- The reason or dynamic behind the answer: Separation
- The answer: Voice of untruth
I read the answer here via the voice of untruth as being "No, not the spirit of a dead person." I assume the separation dynamics have to do with separating from my employment, and that perhaps service is being used as a substitute for "work" meaning relax about work or don't do as much, but no idea. Leadership, I assume refers to my past actions. But this left me with no sense of the answer to my original question.
I've found the whole thing really confusing. If you've made it this far with me, I really appreciate you. To help figure out what these other readings mean, I did the Mystagogus layout, which read as follows. I don't ask that anyone try to interpret this for me, but merely provide it for context on the other readings.
1.
Progenitor: what the story is about
a.
Water Of Life: soul nourishment, sacred healing, physical healing, divine love, regeneration, working with water energy
2.
Endurance: what must be overcome for success/growth
a.
Sacred Place: holy place, sacred space, place of divine presence, clean, balanced, safe place, special person, nature power spot
3.
Unraveling: what must be let go of or loosened up, or what is falling away
a.
South Gate: south, future, fire, creative fire, volatile energy, yes, positive
4.
Partnership: what you are closely interacting with or what is having a direct influence
a. Destruction: loss, destruction, dangerous imbalance, destructive behavior, make a major change, painful rebalancing, catastrophe, natural disaster, get out of the way.
5.
Hearth: home, family, tribe
a.
Silence: be silent, do not act, you do not need to know, do not ask, think before speaking, secrets and keeping secrets
6.
West Gate: what is now fading into the past but can return
a.
Load sharer: sharing a burden, upholding others, caretaking, holding a magical working, protecting someone, helping, hard work, enabling someone
7.
North Gate: what is now long past and will not return, but has relevance
a.
Harvester: death, change, liberation, closing, limited time, letting go, end of a fate cycle, loss of control that destroys.
8.
Fate weavers: the current individual’s fate pattern that is active
a.
West Gate: leaving, coming to an end, very recent past, slowing down, aging, direction of west, probably not, no longer viable
9.
The Path: what is moving forward, active and positive
a.
Companions: working creature companion, tend to creatures, augury, an important animal or bird, an animal is the key
10.
The Binder: what is withheld, is not active, nor should be
a.
Creating: creating, painting, writing, sacred art, consecrated art, sacred words, creative service, music, drama, the creative act
11.
The gift: help that comes to the situation
a.
Hidden Knowledge: unseen, secret, hidden, beyond understanding, hidden potential, unknown, depths, unseen water, incubation of great learning, despair before emerging, dark night of the soul
12.
Underworld: The adversary of the situation
a.
The Path: important fate path, trust, yes, correct, way ahead, action, move forward
13.
Dreams: what is happening in sleep and dreams, can also be a position of visionary work
a.
Progenitor: Idea forming, divine presence, preconception, before dawn
14.
Inner Worlds: What is flowing to the situation from the innespirit worlds
a. Unraveller: falling apart, falling away, loosening, breaking up slowly, crumbling, unwinding.
15.
Daimon: advice offered on what actions are needed for success
a.
Perception: pay attention, a sign, warning, exposing hidden information, precognition, prophecy, awareness, truth, understanding the truth, seeing what others do not see, seeing what is veiled.
16.
Danger: what is dangerous and can inhibit or stop progress
a.
Purification: ritual cleansing, purify, consecreate, bathe, tidy up, clean space, make sacred
17.
East Gate: Short term future, the path ahead
a.
Splendor: yes, success, achievement, joy, beauty, respect, harmony
18.
South Gate: What will come to be in the longer term future as a result of the current situation
a.
Secret Commonwealth: land being, faery, nature spirit, unpredictable person or situation, make no promises, strangeness, a need for integrity in the face of unfairness
I took a lot of comfort in this reading because it seems like I'm at least on a positive path even in the midst of a destructive tide or dynamic with my company. I read some of this as "stay muddy to be camouflaged, don't cleanse yourself or your home overmuch."
Would really appreciate any thoughts or insight of parts or the whole of this.
Thanks all, and hope everyone is safe and healthy.

2024.05.20 01:12 bomberman0210 Tenko and Shuichi's VR Chaos!
Shout out to the YouTube Skit master, CalebCity, for inspiring this story with his hilarious video! I'll have the YouTube video that I got this idea from in the comments!
SCENE START
Shuichi was walking around the school towards the cafeteria, when he almost bumped into Tenko while she was wearing a headset.
Tenko: Ah!
Shuichi: Woah! Sorry, I almost bumped into you!
Tenko: What?!
Shuichi: I said I almost bumped into you!!! Sorry about that!!!
Tenko: Yeah, you'd better be!!
Shuichi heads to the fridge to pour a glass of water as she kept speaking.
Tenko: You should know that my instant response to someone touching me is FLINGING them across the room! And since I'm doing far more than just normal VR...-
Shuichi closes the fridge door, only to see Tenko on the other side looking dead in his direction while standing still.
Shuichi: WAH!!! H-Hey, what the?! D-Didn't you still have more to say???
Tenko:......
Shuichi: T-Tenko??
Tenko stood still for a bit before throwing a kick to his head that he dodged.
Shuichi: WOAH!!! H-HEY!!! Y-You're in the kitchen!!!
Shuichi backs up, only to be slowly approached by a stanced-up Tenko.
Shuichi: You are in the kitchen!! T-Tenko!!!!! Can she not hear me......?
Tenko starts to walk forward towards him.
Shuichi: W-Waaaaahh! H-Hey! HEY!!!
Shuichi backs up towards a table. Tenko was on the other end of the table, seemingly predicting his movements.
Shuichi: Gh!! H-How does she know what way I'm going?!! W-What's *wrong** with her?!!*
Tenko keeps swerving around the table before she ends up stepping on the seat, leaping over the table and into the air.
Shuichi: WOAH!!!
Shuichi leaps out of the way as Tenko comes crashing down with a kick.
Shuichi: Wooah!!!! T-Tenko!!!! Are you trying to kill me!!!??
Tenko didn't speak or respond, she just kept chasing him. Shuichi ran out of the door of the cafeteria and ran through the hallway before getting to the stairs and running up.
Shuichi: Haah! Haah!!!
He went up the staircase and looked down. Tenko was standing directly at the bottom before he saw her sprinting up them.
Shuichi: Gwaaghh!!!
Shuichi ran a bit more before tripping on a patch of grass.
Shuichi: Dhah!!!! Haah....haaah....why are you doing this to me?!!!!!!!
Tenko was still dead silent, slowly making her way towards him. Meanwhile, in her vr visual...
Tenko: Dammit, why does this npc keep running away....! Come on, I need this last set of XP!!!
Tenko went for another attack, but Shuichi sprinted out of the way and ran in another direction. He ran behind a wall and hid. He heard familiar footsteps and saw Tenko slowly reappear, the headset still on her face, but this time she was holding a bat...
Shuichi: Ghh...! Where did she even get that from....?!! W-Why is this happening?! I really hope she doesn't see me...
Shuichi's thoughts were unfortunately answered when Tenko looked to the right, before slowly veering her head to the left, exposing Shuichi's hiding spot....
Shuichi: G-Gh!!! O-Oh no.....
Tenko stands still for a little bit...
Tenko:......HiiiYAAAH!
Tenko charged at him, with the bat above her head as he screamed.
Shuichi: WHAAAAA-
BZZT!
Editor's note: No Shuichi's were harmed in the making of this skit. :D

2024.05.20 01:09 crmlovesdoriangray How do I make a decision?
I'm a 23 year old and I just graduated from college last July and ever since my goal was to apply for master's and leave my country. Just wanted to live abroad. I'm not a family oriented person, always wanted to be away from everyone and live my own life with people I have chosen to be in my life.
There wasn't any jobs in mind, I was only focused on masters and leaving everything basically. However I applied to a good position in an internationally known company to gain experience in job interviews etc.
I think I will be offered a position. I also got accepted to two master programs in Italy and Austria.
I am so torn, a job sounds amazing cause having a salary is a confidence increasing thing and maybe I can make my way to abroad with a job?
Master's was a dream of mine for years and I feel like if I postpone masters or never do it, I might disappoint someone who I care about the most, which is me.
Please give me answers out of your experiences. I really need a third eye on this.
