🔗Fast and Stylish Hoonigan Hoonicorn RC Car

https://preview.redd.it/jaxp8bpx2j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1e2db077efeb75710b5db7726e9c4cb558fe72eb
As a remote control car enthusiast, I've always been on the lookout for a vehicle that delivers thrill, performance, and visually appealing design. The Flybar Hoonigan Hoonicorn met all my expectations and more. The moment I unboxed it, I knew this wasn't just another toy but a collector's dream.
The first thing that struck me was its sleek, black design. It perfectly replicates the iconic Hoonicorn, an aggressive and unorthodox racing car. Flybar, known for producing high-performance toys, ensured that every detail of the car was meticulously crafted, making it a joy to behold and show off.
Operating the car was incredibly easy. With its intuitive remote control, even young kids can learn to navigate it in no time. My 7-year-old son loved it and had a blast making the car do doughnuts around our living room. The battery life is impressive too, lasting long enough for multiple play sessions before needing a recharge.
Speaking of recharge, this remote-controlled car comes with rechargeable batteries, which is a nice touch considering how expensive replaceable batteries can get. Plus, they charge relatively quickly, so there's not much downtime between play sessions.
However, there are a few minor drawbacks to this otherwise excellent product. The car can become a bit unwieldy at high speeds, especially when performing tight turns. It can also be quite noisy, but that's part of the excitement, isn't it?
Overall, the Flybar Hoonigan Hoonicorn is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a fast, easy-to-use, and visually appealing remote-controlled car. It's perfect for kids and adults alike who want to experience the adrenaline-pumping thrill of racing without breaking the bank.

🔗High-Speed 1:20 Scale RC Monster Truck with 4x4 Waterproof Functionality

https://preview.redd.it/a8rw3vfy2j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=65a4e7de6cdd8c825e0cd0aa7320250ce6326a75
I recently got my hands on these high-speed remote control cars, and I have to say, they've been a blast! As someone who loves off-road adventures, I was especially excited to test out their 4x4 capabilities.
What really stood out to me was the powerful built-in motor that comes with these trucks. It provides enough power to scorch tires and handle rough terrains with ease. I also appreciated the extended run time, thanks to the two rechargeable batteries. This means more fun without having to constantly stop and recharge.
The show-stopping looks and extraordinary grip of the 1:20 scale trucks are definitely another highlight. They're perfect for impressing friends or simply enjoying some speedy fun on your own. And speaking of speed, these trucks can reach up to 30 KMH, making them quite the thrill ride!
On the downside, one thing I noticed was that the controls take a little getting used to, especially if you're new to remote control vehicles. However, after spending some time with the pistol-like 2.4GHz radio remote controller, I was able to navigate through obstacles quite smoothly.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a cheap yet fast remote control car that offers impressive performance and durability, then these 1:20 scale trucks might just be the perfect fit for you. Just remember to give yourself some time to master those controls, and you'll be tearing up the tracks in no time!

🔗Fast and Durable 4x4 Off-Road RC Truck

https://preview.redd.it/18hdpeoy2j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ea40e94fae736355caea746139fcef91271b6408
As an avid thrill-seeker, I was excited to give the Tecnock Fast RC Cars a try. This 4x4 remote control truck sure didn't disappoint! I was blown away by its speed - reaching up to 40km/h - all thanks to its 380 brushed motor. Plus, the professional steering system gave me stable control, making each drive a colorful experience.
The shock absorption suspension system was also a major plus. The metal spring shock absorber is adjustable and ensures strong anti-collision and shock resistance, extending the toy car's life cycle. Its translucent car shell with bright LED lights added an extra level of coolness and visibility.
One of the best features was the inclusion of two 7.4V 800mAh rechargeable batteries and a USB charger. This extends the driving time to more than 40 minutes and can be charged via USB, making it fast and convenient.
However, one downside, though not a major one, was the durability of the plastic body. It's made of high-quality material, but it's still plastic, so I had to be careful while maneuvering it.
All said and done, the Tecnock Fast RC Cars were a perfect blend of high-speed thrill, durability, and easy usability. Great for kids aged 14 and up, and a fantastic gift option!

🔗Military Grade RC Hobby Rock Crawler Truck: Real-Time Driving & 4WD

https://preview.redd.it/271klh2z2j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b4069c4f4c0acf020b12e78c45a6f1eb95253709
I recently got my hands on the REMOKING RC Hobby Toys Military Truck - a perfect gift for both kids and adults who love a little adventure in their lives. This remote-controlled truck is not just a toy, but a thrilling off-road experience. The first time I took it out for a spin, I was blown away by how easily it maneuvered across different terrains, from the ground to the mountains.
One of the most exciting features of this truck is its real-time driving capabilities. With a Wi-Fi camera equipped, I could watch my truck navigate through obstacles in real time. It was definitely a unique and thrilling experience that made me want to play with it for hours!
The truck is made for all-terrain driving. It's got 4-wheel drive, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. However, what stood out the most during my testing was its high-frequency 2.4GHz transmitter system. This ensured I had complete control over the truck from a distance, which made the overall experience even more enjoyable.
To wrap up, although the truck is perfect for driving across varied terrains and providing real-time video feeds, the battery life could be improved. But overall, this is an awesome remote-controlled truck that delivers on the promise of fun and adventure.

🔗Fast and Customizable 1:10 Scale RC Car (65 KM/H Speed)

https://preview.redd.it/zz15twjz2j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=98028ae05768f8ae512c3682cb9d82dbb9b3e440
As soon as I got my hands on this 1:10 scale brushless RC car, I knew it was going to be a game-changer. Right out of the box, it was ready to go, and its crazy fast speed had me racing around the neighborhood in no time. The customizable settings on the ESC made it easy to tweak for optimal performance, and the Li-Po battery ensured I could enjoy the thrill of racing without worrying about running out of juice.
What really stood out for me was the monster trucks' durability and ability to handle any terrain. The oil-filled metal shocks and heavy-duty wheels allowed me to take on sand, rocks, or concrete with ease, and the option to switch between two included body shells made it a real head-turner.
The only downside I encountered was the limited range of the remote control - but that was quickly remedied by keeping it closer to me while racing. Overall, this 65 km/h speed remote control car has been a great addition to my toy collection, and I can't wait to see how far I can push its capabilities.

🔗Micro Fasten' Racing Car, Super Small Wireless C Vehicle

https://preview.redd.it/pg1hcqvz2j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b39cd761e2a6b1d0684c6b3f32725b6912af5ac
I recently picked up the Westminster Worlds Smallest C Car Random Color for my kids, and it's proven to be a huge hit in our household. This tiny powerhouse is perfect for those who love remote-controlled toys without taking up too much space. The 8-direction movement feature makes it incredibly easy to navigate through obstacles, and the headlights ensure clear visibility even in low-light conditions.
However, the rechargeable lithium battery does take a while to charge, so patience is key. On the flip side, the remote requires three AA batteries, which aren't included in the package - a minor inconvenience, but not a deal-breaker. Overall, this micro-scale C car is a great choice for those who enjoy small, fast remote-controlled vehicles that offer hours of entertainment.

🔗Fast and Durable RC Car for Outdoor Adventures

https://preview.redd.it/xu0q5i803j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=58912737508251ba386c8d9a4854a1fb1b9feb04
I must admit, I've never been much of a remote control car enthusiast. But when I laid my hands on this Tecnock speedster, I couldn't resist giving it a whirl. The first thing that struck me was its sleek design - it looks every bit a racing machine you'd see on the racing track. The bright LED headlights make it stand out even more.
As for the performance, well, it doesn't disappoint there either. The 1:16 scale makes it perfect for both indoor and outdoor play. The 25 km/h top speed ensures it doesn't get left behind in the dust. And the 2.4GHz remote control ensures no interference even if you're racing with other cars.
The large 7.4V 1000mAh batteries provide quite the playtime, lasting over an hour on a single charge. But the standout feature for me was the sturdy build quality. The high-quality ABS material, coupled with the anti-crash rubber tires, meant my rough landings didn't result in any serious damage.
On the flip side, the car doesn't perform too well on wet surfaces. Also, the lack of an all-inclusive controller battery can be a bit of a letdown.
Overall, the Tecnock Remote Control Car offers a thrilling ride at a reasonable price. It's perfect for both adults and kids who love a little bit of adventure on four wheels.

Buyer's Guide

Remote controlled (RC) cars are a popular hobby for many enthusiasts, offering the thrill of racing at high speeds without the risk or expense of full-scale automobiles. While some RC cars can be quite expensive, there are plenty of cheap fast options available that still provide an exhilarating experience. In this section, we will discuss important features to consider when buying a cheap fast RC car and provide general advice to ensure you get the most out of your purchase.

Features to Consider

https://preview.redd.it/fiz3z5u03j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=97b2e9cee6eefc1c56c356d139eef985751d6611
  • Motor: The type of motor in your RC car will greatly affect its top speed and overall performance. Look for models with high-quality brushless motors, which generally offer more power and efficiency than traditional brushed motors.
  • Battery Type: Lithium-polymer (LiPo) batteries tend to have a higher voltage capacity than other battery types, resulting in increased speed and power. However, they may also be more expensive and require special charging considerations.
  • Wheel Type: Soft foam tires provide better grip on various terrains and may allow for faster speeds on some surfaces. Hard plastic or rubber tires are often faster on smooth surfaces, but may offer less control and stability.

Build Quality and Durability

Since cheap fast RC cars are more likely to encounter wear and tear from constant high-speed racing, it's crucial to choose a model with robust construction and quality materials. Look for vehicles with sturdy chassis, reinforced shock absorbers, and strong suspension components to ensure your investment lasts as long as possible.

Consider the Terrain

The area where you plan to race your RC car plays a significant role in determining which model is best for you. If you're primarily racing on pavement or smooth concrete surfaces, a dedicated on-road racer with slick tires may be the ideal choice. However, if you're planning to race off-road, you'll need a vehicle with rugged suspension, large knobby tires, and adequate ground clearance to handle rough terrain.

Advice for New Enthusiasts

  • Start with a Ready-to-Run (RTR) model: These vehicles come pre-assembled and include everything you need to start racing right away, making them perfect for beginners.
  • Learn basic maintenance: Regular cleaning, checking for loose screws, and inspecting electronic components will help extend the life of your RC car and maintain optimal performance.
  • Join an RC car community: Connecting with other hobbyists can offer valuable advice, product recommendations, and insights into racing strategies and techniques.
A cheap fast RC car can provide hours of excitement and competitive fun, but choosing the right model is essential for maximizing your enjoyment. By considering factors such as motor type, battery capacity, wheel design, build quality, and intended racing terrain, you'll be well-equipped to find the perfect vehicle for your needs. And by following some general advice, such as starting with an RTR model and maintaining your vehicle properly, you'll ensure that your new hobby lasts for many years to come.

2024.05.20 08:40 Ok_Improvement4595 why do my friends not care enough about me. why am i a bad friend.

hello all. DAE start to get mad at their friends only for it to turn into self-blaming?
I think objectively there have been several times where my two best friends have been Bad friends to me. But I don't know how to talk to them about it. I get upset, but then I wonder if I'm just overreacting. If this is perhaps karma for all the times I've been a bad friend to others. Maybe if I were better and more grateful for the good moments, the bad ones wouldn't happen at all.
I only really have them. I have work friends and one high school friend who I can talk to with ease when I do. But they're not... friends like the ones my besties have. And they have So many.
They don't even seem to understand the difference between what they have with their friends and what I have with my coworkers. But it's obviously not the same, right? I like my work friendships, but it's not the same as having multiple close friends. When I'm busy my besties have so many other people to turn to. When they're busy I am alone. I wish they would understand that.
This bit is very small, but one of them sent a tik tok in the GC joking about not liking it when their friends have other friends. Felt like a tiny slap in the face considering their abundance vs my lack of friends. This might be stupid, but the tiniest bit of consideration probably would've made anyone else not send that.
I feel like there's a tiny bit of resentment bubbling up inside me towards them. I hate hearing them talk about how happy they are. I hate hearing about their love lives. They know I'm having the worst period of my life. But am I just being a dick? Friends share their happiness with friends because they want to share with the people they love, but I just fucking hate it. I'm stupidly jealous and insecure. I want them to be happy, but why do I have to hear about it constantly? Why fucking ask "Where did X go?" while talking about how content you guys are when you know how bad everything has been for me. It just kinda feels like it's being rubbed in my face.
I was deathly afraid to start university, and I hated it the whole time I was there. And I swear to fucking god there have been so many times where I'd express my fear or misery and they'd respond with how much they love university, how much they've grown there, how much fun they have. "I'm afraid to start my classes." "I'm excited for mine!"
My best friends forgot my birthday. I injured myself accidentally earlier this year and one of them saw my messages, sent a selfie of her at a bar, and then continued to party away. I don't think she even realized how much that sucked till literal days later. the other friend talked me through it but randomly left the convo without saying anything. my last message? "can we please call? I feel really shaken up from the blood."
No one even checked up on me, I had to text them first.
I feel like I keep forgiving too quickly, because what else can I do? I have no one else. But I'm obviously still upset. I have a freaking list of times they've upset me because I don't know how to talk to them about it, but I need a way to get it out. I can't talk to them about it. What if I just have selective memory for bad moments? What if I'm being unfair?
All I could think during my birthday was, "They could if they wanted to."
I know my friends are good people who would never do mean things on purpose. If anyone reads this far, please know I love my friends and just because I'm only detailing bad parts doesn't mean everything is bad. I just ruminate a lot. Venting will always happen more often than just sharing the good stuff. I just feel like, maybe if I were better or good enough then none of this stuff would even happen. I feel like I'm losing them to all the other friends they have.
apologies for the rambling rant. thanks to anyone who reads this far

2024.05.20 08:40 International-Try467 Bad Penis!!

Ever on and on, you continue stroking
With nothing but your lust and the carousel of depravity Till slowly I ache and my glans starts throbbing And suddenly I see that I can't break free, I'm Slipping through your grip in this dark depravity With nothing but blue balls and the paralyzing horniness To tell me what I am! Just your cock! Uncertainty enveloping my swollen tip Till I can't break free and
Is it a wet dream? Are these 2hus even real? But it wouldn't mean a thing if I told you how I feel So I'm tired of the edging, the cum building up inside And I wish I could feel nothing but your hand tonight
You could tell me when to throb, you could tell me when to spurt But I doubt that you would care, and my shaft would only hurt If you stroke me one more time, there'll be no going back Because everything would burst, and it all would fade to black Will release ever come? Will I make it through the night? Will there ever be relief for this boner in your vice? Am I pulsing? Am I stiff? Should I soften or stay hard? I've forgotten how to tell, it's getting so damn hard Can I take another stroke? I've been milked of all I can All the porn that you now watch, you will never understand If I find a way to cum, if I shoot into the light Then I'll never be the same and it all will fade to white
Ever on and on, you continue stroking With nothing but your lust and the carousel of edging Till slowly I ache and my glans starts throbbing And suddenly I see that I can't break free, I'm Slipping through your grip in this dark depravity With nothing but blue balls and the paralyzing horniness To tell me what I am! Just your cock! Uncertainty enveloping my swollen tip Till I can't break free and
Is it a wet dream? Maybe these women aren't real But it wouldn't mean a thing if I told you how I feel So I'm tired of the chafing, the cum building up inside And I wish I could feel nothing but your hand tonight You could tell me when to throb, you could tell me where to spurt But I doubt that you would care, and my shaft would only hurt

Then it all would fall apart There'd be nothing of me left If I'm throbbing in your grip, if I'm pulsing in your palm Will there ever be release? Will my tip return to calm? Can you tell me who you are? Can you tell me where I am? I've forgotten how to see I've forgotten if I can If I opened up my slit, there'd be no more going back

2024.05.20 08:39 External_Meaning_616 Things absolutely get better

I use to use this page ALL THE TIME a couple years ago with my ex, constantly asking for advice on how to keep my relationship going (spoiler alert: it didn’t) and all I can do is laugh at my past self about all the bullshit I put up with her. Nowadays I have this beautiful blonde by my side and we take care of EACH OTHER meaning on MY bad days she takes care of ME!!! Nothing is one sided anymore, I never thought that would be possible but it so is. I do not have this constant weight on my shoulders and I never have to walk on eggshells. I feel healthier, I’m really fucking happy which I never felt was possible with my exwbpd. I’m so glad I stopped feeding into her manipulation and I could not care less where she is now. Though, sometimes it is hard for me to remind myself that I am not in the relationship I once was in and I am able to trust my current gf and talk about what I’m feeling, but I do!!! I talk about my feelings and I never get blocked, or yelled at or told that they don’t matter anymore. Instead I get a beautiful blonde girl that rubs my back and tells me everything will be okay and I am able to believe her! I really hope the people on this page that were struggling like I once was are able to find the peace I was able to obtain. My advice is to just let go when things get rough, no person is worth that much pain and there is a beautiful life waiting for you on the other end. It’s so hard to understand in the moment but it’s so so possible. I wish I could tell my younger self that.

2024.05.20 08:38 Hotpot-creations Short story - D&D: A Deal With a Dragon

Short story - D&D: A Deal With a Dragon
A Deal With a Dragon Story and image by Hotpot AI
The small village of Felden Pond was once a peaceful and idyllic place, nestled in the lush green valleys of the kingdom of Aveloria. But that all changed when a fearsome dragon descended upon the village, unleashing terror and destruction upon its inhabitants.
The villagers were no match for the powerful creature, and they lived in constant fear of its fiery breath and razor-sharp claws. They had tried everything to rid themselves of the dragon, from offering it treasures to appease its greed, to hiring mercenaries to slay the beast. But nothing had worked, and the dragon continued to wreak havoc on their homes and lives.
That was until a young adventurer by the name of Ewan arrived in Felden Pond. He had heard of the dragon's terror and was determined to put an end to it. With his trusty sword and a heart full of courage, Ewan marched towards the dragon's lair, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
As he approached the entrance of the cave, Ewan could feel the heat emanating from within. He steeled himself and stepped inside, his eyes adjusting to the dim light. And there, in all its glory, was the dragon.
The creature was massive, with shimmering scales the color of emeralds and eyes that glowed like molten gold. Its wings were spread wide, and its long tail swished back and forth, creating a menacing aura around it.
Ewan took a deep breath and spoke, "I come in peace, mighty dragon. I wish to negotiate with you on behalf of the villagers of Felden Pond."
The dragon's eyes narrowed, and a low growl rumbled in its throat. "What could a mere mortal like you offer me that I do not already possess?" it asked, its voice deep and rumbling like thunder.
Ewan stood his ground, undeterred by the dragon's intimidating presence. "I offer you something that you have been denied for far too long—a chance at redemption."
The dragon's eyes widened in surprise, and for the first time, Ewan saw a glimmer of curiosity in them. "Explain," the dragon demanded.
Ewan took a deep breath and began to tell the dragon a story—a story of a young prince who had been cursed by an evil sorcerer, transforming him into a dragon. The prince had been consumed by rage and bitterness, and in his anger, he had unleashed destruction upon the kingdom.
But one day, a brave knight had come to the prince's lair, not to slay him, but to offer him a chance at redemption. The knight had shown the prince that true heroism was not about strength and power, but about compassion and selflessness. And in that moment, the prince had found the courage to break the curse and return to his human form.
The dragon listened intently, and as Ewan finished his tale, tears glistened in its eyes. "That story... it is my story," the dragon said, its voice trembling with emotion.
Ewan nodded, "I know. And I believe that you too deserve a chance at redemption. Help me save the village of Felden Pond, and together, we can break the curse that binds you."
The dragon was silent for a moment, lost in thought. And then, with a mighty roar, it spread its wings and took to the sky. Ewan followed close behind, and together, they flew towards Felden Pond.
The villagers were terrified at the sight of the dragon, but Ewan assured them that it was there to help. The dragon used its fiery breath to destroy the monster that had been terrorizing the village, and the villagers cheered in gratitude.
But their joy was short-lived, as the dragon suddenly collapsed to the ground, writhing in pain. Ewan rushed to its side and saw that the curse was taking its toll on the dragon's body.
Without hesitation, Ewan took out his sword and plunged it into the dragon's heart, breaking the curse and freeing the prince from his draconic form. The villagers watched in awe as the prince stood before them, his true self once again.
The prince thanked Ewan for his bravery and asked for forgiveness from the villagers. He promised to use his powers for good and to help rebuild the village that he had once destroyed.
And so, the village of Felden Pond was saved, not by a mighty hero, but by a brave adventurer and a cursed prince. As for Ewan, he had learned that true heroism was not about slaying monsters, but about showing compassion and understanding, even to those who seemed beyond redemption.

My fish’s stomach was very bloated, but it’s going down after a 48 hour fast. Does this mean it’s not dropsy?
He has mild pineconing around his stomach but it’s only where it’s swollen. He wants to eat and has good color and energy. I just gave him a little bit of a pea. My nitrates are high, so getting those down with water changes. Does this mean he will be okay?

2024.05.20 08:36 noblueface Venting about a fight with my covid unsafe sister

For mothers day dinner i (30) had my mom (60) and sister (28) take metrix tests and took the risk of eating indian food with them. I know they were both unmasked around groups that day but i took the risk bc idk i just wanted to do something for my mom.
A comment from my mom about finding a new restaurant to go out to eat at turned into my sister and I raising our voices at each other. We both said nasty things. I tried, i did, i wasnt as loud as her and tried to logically lay out my thoughts.
what im most mad about is she accused me of enjoying "preaching" and being influenced by paid influencers (evidence being the 300 dollars i dropped on metrix tests)
Its not "preaching" to be highly concerned about genocide and eugenics when it happens!!!!!
Like, shes talking about the testimonials from individual people with LC. I believe its real and has disabled a lot of people. But she trusts media like the nyt more. She doesnt like that I bring up things like eugenics and genocide and the butterfly effect that is the chain of transmission. Its more important to "live her life."
She texted me to apologize for her side about a week ago and i thought i would have responded by now. But im still mad! Yes the stakes are that high! Yes this is the hill i die on.
We both said something to the effect of how this tension is straining our relationship to a point it cant go back from. I have seen my mom estranged from her sibling and it was brutal and I never want to go through that. I want me, her, and the other 2 covid unsafe siblings to take care of my mom and not have disgusting drama upon her aging and passing. Ive never been Close with them but have always been committed to this.
It just fucking sucks. Covid means no healing from long standing trauma, impossible to repair relationships to a point i dont feel alien, no healing, just alienation and despair. And also im sad its never as simple as sitting down to eat or drink together. It just all sucks.
I said it in anger that night but i really do wish i died a decade ago before all the horror of the last years became something id experience. And yes sister, seeing family actively make life easier for eugenicists is that kind of horrifying.
Im just so mad. Idk what anyone from this sub could say to help but i appreciate space to vent and anyome who actually reads this far. Thanks.

2024.05.20 08:35 Ill_Evening_1701 My 24F friends 25F 25M are in a long term relationship and when they argue it stresses me out for hours on end

TLDR: tell me funny stories about your friends in relationships who have argued in front of you
Not looking for advice or input. Just wanna hear other people’s stories lol. Is anyone friends with people in long term relationships? As in being friends with both parties in the couple. I have extreme stress and anxiety when people in relationships fight/disagree when I’m present. And I don’t mean like bickering or small stuff like that. Does anyone else have a funny story they’d like to share lol. My divorced parents have given me trauma and I always feel the need to want to fix things. I won’t, in this case. I know I can’t fix everything and solve problems it’s just the irrational part of my brain wishing things got resolved perfectly. My therapist has mentioned a fear of being out of control. It’s true, situations where I can’t maneuver or control the outcome just stress me out, like it does for others. I actually don’t know why I made this post. Just looking to relate to other people in this situation. I have had a lot of fighting and arguing in my personal life and family so it just stresses me out to witness it outside of that circle. Just wanted to have a laugh and hear other people’s experiences.

2024.05.20 08:35 KonradsCrow The grey matter in my brain is counter revolutionary

I read all this theory, and then don’t remember any of it. It’s like I sit there ingesting all this holy gospel just for my brain to spit it out as soon as I’m done reading. I’m so cooked. I spend all these hours reading and don’t even know what a petty bourgeoisie is. And, it’s not that the theory doesn’t explain it. I either don’t remember the explanations or my lack of reading comprehension skills (literally infantile) cause me to misunderstand every paragraph. It’s as though I’m not even reading anything. I’ll spend hours with Capital and then not even understand what small commodity production is. The problems just keep stacking on top of each other. I try to explain communism to someone and their question goes “how is communism better than capitalism?” and I can’t even formulate a sentence. I just sit there fumbling around, rambling about productive forces, fetters, and crises (doing my best to remember the bare minimum of the principles of communism). It feels futile in a way. I know it’s not. I know theory is important. The theory doesn’t stick with me no matter how hard I try, though. Even when I take notes it’s still impossible to connect the dots. Everything just seems so complex and complicated and I can’t wrap my head around it. And it’s no help that resources besides theory either suck (made by liberals) or are obscure and possibly even more incomprehensible than the theory I’m trying to read. Yesterday I couldn’t even figure out the difference between exchange value and price. Instead of enjoying my dinner, I was obsessing over how market price equaled real value. Don’t even get me started on inflation. I’ve read the first seven chapters of capital, wage labour and capital, and value price and profit, and still can’t understand price. Every little term is a can of worms that I can’t understand. I can barely formulate sentences when I try to explain concepts in theory. Some phrases have chapter long explanations that seem so over bearing and other phrases have two sentence long explanations that don’t go nearly in-depth enough for me. I feel like I’m missing 80% of the puzzle. And in a way that true, I haven’t read nearly enough theory. But, it feels so impossible to get a clear grasp of one thing without knowing everything else. I can’t know everything without knowing everything else. I feel like every term I don’t know has an explanation somewhere else in an obscure article Marx wrote in 1852. I don’t know where anything is or where to find it. Everything is so interconnected and dependent upon each other. I can’t get an understanding of something without forgetting and being unable to connect it with the bigger picture. I can’t get a clear grasp of one thing and move onto the next. I can’t even go chapter by chapter, concepts building off each other. I can’t even do that much. I feel like to understand every little sentence I read, I have to already know every piece of theory that is. Every little text I read seems so isolated and incomplete without some magical complete knowledge of every word Marx wrote. I just don’t feel like a “good” (Marx forgive me for using moral judgement) communist when I don’t know half the things I claim to profess or understand most of the beliefs I hold. I feel so overwhelmed. Comrade I can’t even write a paragraph without writing “I feel like” 500 times. It seems like every big concept is so far outside of my reach. It seems that there’s not enough time to read all the theory I need to read. Sometimes I feel like I don’t know enough, other times I feel like I need to slow down and try not to over-ingest too many concepts. It’s a struggle. I can’t decide whether I want to read the theory that seems interesting to me or read the theory I feel like I need to. It sucks that reading theory feels like a chore. Most of the time it’s not even enjoyable. Most of the theory that seems interesting is too high level for me to under. So again, it feels like I have to read so much before I can even get to the enjoyable part. I suppose reading theory isn’t supposed to be enjoyable more so than a necessity. I just wish there was some way, some tactic I could use to have a more enjoyable reading experience and take more away from the stuff I do read. I don’t know. I want to better myself and read theory like a good little Marxist, but it’s so difficult. The theory is trying to bite me. And when I do take breaks from reading theory, it doesn’t help. I can’t abandon reading theory all together. That would make no sense. But, no matter how long of a break I take, the reading experience doesn’t seem to get any better. I don’t mean to complain like a five years old or an anarchist. I know this isn’t a vent space. There are subreddits for that. But this is the only real and authentic place for actual communist and not deranged liberals with an obsession with commodity production. I know I have to read theory. I know I can’t give up no matter how much I might feel like it. I’m not trying to deny that I need to read theory. I’m not some weird Stalinist who thinks they can get all their theory by watching an online video or listening to a podcast. I just wish there was a way to make it more enjoyable.
That’s all to say, do you comrades have any tips for reading theory?
Also, what’s y’all’s opinions on union hymns? Will listening to them make me some strange syndicalist, proto fascist?

🔗Handcrafted Warm Autumn-Winter Knitting Yarn

https://preview.redd.it/3qhcix9i0j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=458b98d9c955758f7abdbed679cd7eeb3e6c5f91
I recently picked up YarnArt's Pacific Chunky to try my hand at knitting some cozy scarves for the upcoming winter. I must say, I'm quite pleased with this product. The multicolor variegated pattern is stunning and its thick, wooly texture is perfect for keeping me warm on those chilly nights. Plus, despite being a blend of wool and acrylic, it doesn't shed too much, which is a major plus.
One feature that particularly stood out was how versatile this yarn is. I used it to make a sweater, a cardigan, and even a pair of mittens! And each piece turned out beautifully. The recommended needles (4.5 mm) and hooks (5 mm) worked perfectly with the yarn, providing just the right tension for even stitches.
However, one downside I did experience was that the yarn tended to split when working on tighter stitches. But this wasn't a deal-breaker for me, as I still managed to achieve a nice finished look. Overall, YarnArt Pacific Chunky is a great option for those looking to add some color and warmth to their knit projects without breaking the bank.

🔗Super Velvet Chunky Cotton Arm Knitting Yarn

Aloiyue's Chunky Blanket Yarn is a thick, warm, and stylish addition to your collection. I recently started knitting again after a long hiatus, and I'm absolutely loving this leopard print yarn. It's not only great for knitting crochet pillow throws, but it's also super easy to work with due to its bulkiness.
One of the things I genuinely appreciate about this yarn is how soft and warm it feels in my hands. I've had some past experiences with Velvet yarns that lacked this softness, making them somewhat unappealing to work with. Additionally, the leopard print design adds a touch of sophisticated style that I find truly captivating.
However, one drawback I've noticed is that it tends to shed a bit while I work with it. I also find the colors to be slightly more subdued than I would like. Not a complete deal-breaker, but it's definitely something to be aware of.
All in all, Aloiyue's Chunky Blanket Yarn is a fantastic option for knitting crochet pillow throws, particularly if you're a fan of soft and warm materials. Just be prepared to deal with a little extra shedding and slightly muted colors.

🔗Teal Waves Bernat Softee Chunky Yarn

https://preview.redd.it/fhvyjpzi0j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f7f837134e73c777abbd6884dfea7c02c3ec9220
When I first laid hands on Bernat Softee Chunky Yarn, I was immediately drawn to its thickness and softness, which I knew would be perfect for knitting warm, cozy blankets and cardigans. The stitch definition is top-notch, giving my projects a professional look that's sure to impress. I did notice a difference in texture between some skeins, but overall, I found it to be a reliable and economical choice for my knit and crochet projects.
One feature that really stood out for me is the large ball size, making it easy to complete projects quickly without having to constantly change skeins. I also appreciated the broad range of rich colors that Bernat offers, giving me plenty of options for my designs. However, I was a bit disappointed with the limited color selection in some shades.
As for the cons, the varying texture between different skeins can be a bit annoying, and I wish the yarn didn't have such a strong chemical smell when I first opened the package. Overall, Bernat Softee Chunky Yarn offers a satisfying blend of style, functionality, and comfort, making it a great choice for both beginners and experienced knitters alike.

🔗Arm Knitting Chunky Bulky Yarn

https://preview.redd.it/uctafwdj0j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8a0c64acc5d95c96fceea62ad203be5e1dfc5e66
I recently tried the "Bulky Yarn" for a DIY project, and it was quite an experience. The super chunky yarn is washable and made from roving, which adds a nice touch to the overall feel of the project.
However, the one thing that caught me off guard was the length. It only measures 45M, which is much less than I expected. This could be a problem for those looking to create larger items, so keep that in mind.
Overall, the yarn is soft and easy to work with, but the short length may be a drawback for some.

🔗James C Brett Flutterby Chunky Yarn - Bulky, 100% Supersoft Polyester, Various Colors

https://preview.redd.it/qqby46qj0j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5c0d6bb15278664ffa7bb48740918644bf6af455

I recently got my hands on the James C Brett Flutterby Chunky, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer for my knitting projects. This luxurious 100% supersoft polyester yarn comes in a range of beautiful shades, making it perfect for warm cardigans, cozy blankets, or cute baby toys.
From the moment I started knitting with this yarn, I noticed how incredibly soft and fluffy it is. It's a joy to work with, and the drape it gives to my knitted items is simply stunning. The recommended needle size (6mm) works perfectly, helping me achieve a beautiful stitch texture that stands out from other chunky yarns.
One standout feature of this yarn is its impressive yardage of approximately 175 meters per 100g ball. This means I can knit up larger projects without worrying about running out of yarn too soon. And if that's not enough, the yarn is machine washable at 30°C, making it easy to keep my creations looking fresh and clean.
However, like any product, there are some cons to consider. Some users have reported issues with yarn quality, noting that it can develop bald spots after washing. Additionally, the yarn's softness can make it a bit challenging to work with on certain needle types, such as plastic ones.
But despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience with the James C Brett Flutterby Chunky has been exceptional. Its high-quality texture, variety of colors, and reasonable price point make it a top choice for knitters and crocheters looking to create beautiful, snuggly projects.

Buyer's Guide

If you are looking to get started in knitting or crochet, or simply want to diversify your yarn collection, cheap chunky yarns can be an excellent choice. These types of yarns are generally thicker in size, which makes them easier and quicker to work with, especially for beginners. Moreover, they tend to be more affordable than thinner yarns, allowing you to make beautiful projects on a budget. In this buyer's guide, we will discuss important features to consider when selecting cheap chunky yarns as well as some general advice to ensure you get the best quality for your money.

Consider Fiber Content

https://preview.redd.it/67ecj89k0j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=059df97e2bdb6b8c7c1fbedda4e176b2f1b08040
One of the most important factors to consider when choosing cheap chunky yarns is the type of fiber they are made from. Common fibers used in yarns include acrylic, cotton, wool, and blended fibers. Each type of fiber has its own unique properties, such as softness, durability, and ease of care, that can impact the final quality of your finished project.
Acrylic yarns are typically the most affordable option and are ideal for beginners due to their stain resistance and minimal pilling. Cotton yarns are great for warm weather projects, as they are highly breathable and moisture-absorbent. Wool yarns provide excellent insulation and are ideal for cold weather projects, but may require special care to prevent felting or shrinking.
Blended fibers offer a combination of properties from different fibers, such as the softness of acrylic and the warmth of wool. However, they may also be more susceptible to pilling, so it's essential to choose a high-quality blend that will stand up to wear and tear.

Check Yarn Weight

Cheap chunky yarns come in various weights, typically classified as either "bulky" or "super bulky. " These weights are determined by the number of plies or strands that make up the yarn. Bulky yarns are generally denser and thicker, while super bulky yarns are even thicker and often have a larger stitch size. In general, the thicker the yarn, the faster and easier it is to knit or crochet projects.
Be sure to choose a yarn weight that aligns with your knitting or crochet skill level and the specific pattern you will be following. Patterns designed for chunky yarns will often specify which weight to use for optimal results.

Inspect Yarn Quality

The quality of cheap chunky yarns can vary widely among different brands and price points. To ensure you are getting the best value for your money, inspect the yarn closely before purchasing. Look for any inconsistencies in thickness, uneven dye jobs, or noticeable flaws in the fibers. A high-quality yarn will have a consistent texture and uniform color throughout, making it easier to work with and resulting in a more professional-looking finished project.

https://preview.redd.it/902a9cok0j1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=05e95b185316b61c739f559c650c967f9a5ea0c5

Consider Yarn Care

While cheap chunky yarns may be more affordable, they may not always be as durable or easy to care for as more expensive options. Be sure to check the care instructions on the yarn label to determine whether it can be machine washed or requires hand washing, as well as any special drying or ironing requirements.
Choose a yarn that aligns with your intended use and level of care you are willing to provide. For example, if you plan to create a cozy throw blanket for your couch, a stain-resistant acrylic yarn that can be easily machine washed may be a great choice. On the other hand, if you are knitting a delicate baby hat, you may want to opt for a softer, high-quality wool or cotton yarn that can be hand-washed.

Experiment with Different Brands

With so many options available on the market, it can be helpful to try out different cheap chunky yarn brands to find the one that best suits your needs and preferences. Some brands may offer unique texture, color, or performance features that set them apart from their competitors. Don't be afraid to experiment with different yarns and stitch patterns to find your ideal combination.
By considering factors such as fiber content, yarn weight, quality, care, and brand variety, you can make informed decisions when selecting cheap chunky yarns for your knitting or crochet projects. With careful consideration and a little experimentation, you can create beautiful, durable, and affordable projects that you will be proud to show off and wear.
Remember, this guide is meant to provide general advice and recommendations for choosing cheap chunky yarns. Always consult the specific pattern or project requirements to ensure the best possible outcome for your finished project.

2024.05.20 08:33 deck_master We Have Got to Talk About White Veganism

Yeah, I know it’s a meme. That it’s become one just emphasizes what a problem this is.
This has been bothering me for a while, and the majority of my comments in the main sub are trying to fight against this tendency there, so maybe for those of you familiar with me this feels redundant and annoying. But this recent post seemed to cross a line to me.
That post and the comments filling it very closely resemble your average conservative sub complaining about the latest overreach of the wokes and how all this constant conversation about diversity and inclusion is just tiring and missing the point. In this case, the point is a bit easier to articulate than those conservatives typically can (“it’s just about the animals!”), but that doesn’t make it any more valid of a point.
Idk why this is something we need reminding of, but humans are animals to. We live in a world where genocide is actively happening to animals of every sort, and the ones we can communicate with are begging for our support in liberation movements. Veganism is all about fighting for liberation for the voiceless animals, but it sure as hell doesn’t stop us from fighting for the ones who have voices. It pretty obviously requires it.
This is a space that purports to be leftist in its core ethos. I’m not seeing it. If mockery, confusion, and derision are all we can muster for every person of color that gets reposted in the main sub for saying vegan spaces have a white supremacy problem, then the white supremacy problem starts to become very real, even if they weren’t there in the first place.
White veganism is a more complex issue than just that, but the fact that it can’t be talked about even on a surface level strikes me as the clearest possible evidence that it’s a huge problem here. Idk, I’m no expert, I’m white for fuck’s sake and for some of y’all that means this whole post is just virtue signaling, and I’m a woke liberal and a fake vegan who has no clue what they’re talking about. I kinda worry that the POC who are vegan have already been driven out of this space, so there’s really only the white leftists who can tolerate the racism left.
Again, I don’t really know and this is just a ramble at 2 am cause this is really bothering me and I can’t sleep. But I wanted to open up a space to actually talk about this, because I don’t see that space existing, and white supremacy is fucking pervasive

2024.05.20 08:28 International-End660 AITA for beating up my stepfather after he bad mouthed me infront of everyone?

Me (21) and my mother (54) haven't had the best relationship. Ever since my dad left my mom tried her hardest to find a significant other but seeing as if her only child at the moment didn't really enjoy the company of other guys. So every chance I got I spent running off her suitors, that is until one of them (let's call him leaf) stuck for the long run. Me and leaf never had an understanding, he would always try to get my mom to abandon me and it slightly started working overtime. Then leaf brought his son (we'll call him Yoko) and it all went downhill from there. My mom put all of her attention into the new kid and I felt deserted. Now granit I wasn't a good child, I took everything that benefitted me even if it was from my own mother, but I can say over the years I tried to be better for my mom so she could be happy. Fast forward a couple years or so and my mom and leaf had a kid heaven and I wasn't too opposed with since I've always wanted a little sister and like how I told myself I would be my little sister became my light in the family, til my mom and leaf had another child prince. And like all siblings of 4 hevean stuck close to me and prince stuck close to Yoko. Then I started heading down a dark path, smoking, stealing, fighting, the works. And as any mother would my mom was disappointed in me, so I tried therapy. It helped alot and my mom seen that and let me know how proud she was that I was finally growing up by taking me on a mother son trip. Leaf didn't really much approve of it since he thought I was just a bad kid that always lead to trouble. Fast forward to the present on mothers day, the morning started off like every Sunday morning for my family, kids running and playing, good soul food in the air, and 90s hip hop rnb playing on the speaker. My grandma told everybody that she was going to get a couple family members to join in the feast she had prepared so it could all be gone and then it went on from there. My cousin and her husband came into the house cheerful as ever and I was the first person she hugged because she sees me as her baby, after that she and her husband sat down on the couch and started to make conversation with my mom and leaf. My cousin then ask "So how has Trey been doing?" And my mom looks at me and then starts telling her about my grades and how I might flunk. Then leaf chimes in with no one asking "That's what happens when people treat him like a baby, maybe if he wasn't so spoiled he wouldn't act like the way he did." I didn't say anything and just walked off back to my safe haven which was my room, since the kids all thought it was fair that the oldest had his own room dealing with the adults crap. After a couple minutes my cousin ask me to come to the living room again to talk about what's been going on with my life, and I told her about how I've been a bit depressed and really wasn't feeling like the best. My mom tried her best to lift my spirits up but her way was always tough love, I told her that I'm slowly getting there because of my girlfriend who has saved me from wanting to end it early. She told me how that was amazing and that she hoped to meet her one day, and yet again leaf decided to butt in on the conversation. "That's probably why he's failing because of that lil b-word he's talking to." I told him to respectfully stay out of the conversation and he stood up saying "or what". My mom tried to get between us and break up the potential fight telling us to calm down. My stepfather sits back down and continues to talk bad about me and my life infront of my cousin, and I could already tell my cousin was on the verge of hitting him so I told him to shut up for his safety. He gets up again and pushes me on the wall and tells me to say shut up again, so I punched him in the face. Everybody then gets up and tries to break up the fight but my stepfather is already on the floor. Then my mother decides to try beating me up because of me beating on her boyfriend, me being the mommas boy I am of course I didn't hit back so I just kinda let it happen. She tells me I'm a horrible son and that she wishes she never had me and how I should've been aborted. Me being shocked I couldn't do anything but pack my things and I left to go live with my grandpa, my mom then sends me a text message about how I was dead to her and how she wants nothing to do with me. I was heart broken and devastated. I didn't know what to do. But then sum encouraging words from my uncles lifted my spirits up a bit. I still wish I could tell my mom how much she means to me even after she called me a mistake and tell the kids that their big brother hasn't forgotten about them. But most of all I wish I could've punched on my stepfather a little more. AITA?

2024.05.20 08:26 ThrowRAcigluvrs Am I (18M) being delusional for thinking that my boyfriend (19M) cheated on me?

Okay so just to preface this, I have been diagnosed with BPD (the actual diagnosis is EUPD right now since you can’t be diagnosed with BPD until you are 25 in my country) so I really don’t know if the way I’m feeling has any kind of rationality behind it at all. I’m in desperate need of an outside opinion because I don’t want to be weird with my boyfriend for no good reason. We will be together for 3 years this September.
On Saturday, me and my boyfriend went out with eachother. We smoked, ate some food and just had a really good time together enjoying the warm weather since that’s kind of a rarity where I’m from. Everything was 100% normal. No weird vibes, no nothing.
When I got home, we messaged on snap for a while and then I fell asleep hella early (around 7:30-8:00pm) because I was stoned as fuck. The last time he messaged me that night was 8:47pm.
I woke up at around 5:20am yesterday because of how early I fell asleep the night before. I checked my notifications to see if my boyfriend had messaged me after I fell asleep and I saw the text he left me at 8:47. The message was just him asking me to give him a review of this drink I bought when we were out together. No other messages. No goodnight message, no message to tell me he loved me either. Just that.
I checked when he was last online just out of curiosity and it said that he was last online 4hrs ago, so around 1am. I thought that was weird because he ALWAYS gets to sleep early and he NEVER usually falls asleep later than 11:30pm. But I didn’t really think too much of it at the time, and I just decided to have a quick smoke and make some breakfast before I replied.
I messaged him at 7:55am just wishing him a good morning and telling him how much I love him. I told him to tell me about his night when he woke up since I thought it was weird that he was up so late. About 10 mins later he called me. I instantly thought how that was really weird because he NEVER calls me in the morning. He is not a morning person at all, and he tells me not to call him in the morning because he will just get mad and he doesn’t want to get mad at me. So I already had some alarm bells going off in my head.
The whole call was really strange and uncomfortable. One of the first things he told me was that him and his friends went out to this local shisha bar that night to watch the Tyson Fury fight, which is why he was still online past midnight. He was telling me how it was super packed in there. I hated that. It is an established thing in our relationship that if one of us is going somewhere, we ALWAYS tell eachother where we’re going, who we’re gonna be with and what we’re gonna be doing. I didn’t get any of that, not even a message to tell me goodnight. He just didn’t message me at all.
I said “okayyyyy….what did you do?”, obviously very uncomfortable but I just wanted to know more about the night. He didn’t really say much tbh, he just said “nothing baby, we watched the fight and then I went home.” Right. How enlightening. I decided to press him on why he called me since he never does and he said, “I just missed you so much, I love you and I really wanted to hear your voice.” Okay. That’s another thing that never happens. I remember laying back on my bed and just thinking about all those posts I’ve seen about when your partner goes out and you get the ‘I love you’ text the next morning. You know what I mean. That’s all that was going through my head because THIS NEVER F*CKING HAPPENS !!!!!
I was honestly just really confused and I didn’t know what to say, so I just said, “okay, but you never call me in the morning so why did you call me now?”. He started clamming up at my response a little bit, but that could be because he was expecting me to think it was sweet. He started going into this baby talk sort of voice, very high pitched and cutesy and it was just making me even more uncomfortable. He said, “I just love you so much and I just wanted to hear your voice and you told me to call you earlier !!”, in that baby voice. I said, “no. I never told you to call me earlier, I asked you to tell me about your night.” Then he was all like “yes you did” until he checked the chat, then he was like “ohhhhhhhh oops I thought you said to call.” Yeah. Right.
Pretty soon after that, he told me he was gonna go. He hung up and he didn’t text me again until 12:30pm. He also didn’t fall asleep until 1am again last night even though he has very important exams today. I’ve been very off with him since that phone call, especially since he never mentioned that he was going out and he didn’t text me the entire night, even just to tell me goodnight. If he didn’t call me yesterday morning, I never would’ve known he did anything. This has never EVER happened before.
What are your thoughts? What should I do? What would you guys do in this situation? Am I being delusional? Please help me.

2024.05.20 08:26 PublicData94 What I learned from my parent's negligent attitude.

Disclaimer: They indeed took care of me and my siblings physical security, food, roof, clothing and schooling. So no this is what I'm not talking about here, I've been far more priviledged in that sense if someone is about to talk about this. BUT PARENTING IS NOT JUST ABOUT YOUR PHYSICAL NEEDS. What im going to talk about is, the emotional aspect of parenting and how their absence affected me. It's teaching me things while I'm pregnant. I'm sorry this is going to be a long rant.
Since I've been pregnant, my world view has changed. Seeing other toddler parents around me and their attempts to keep their babies happy, entertained, and busy - it has a huge impact.
The following advise is only for people who click with this.
My dad was literally absent for first year or so after my birth. He was transferred and my mom took leaves to look after me. He was very uncooperative, and it was my mom's job to think who will look after me when she's at work, my aunt and Nani joined in for a while. A year or so after that my mum would leave me at a crèche near her work place.
Then my brother was born after I turned 2. When my brother turned 6 months old, she was transferred. She took both of us with her and lived in a PG accommodation. She took care of us, almost all alone. There was a very kind old lady, who owned this place, she would occasionally come and look after us. Within few months, she was transferred back to our hometown.
Since my parents were working, and none of the grandparents were around to look after us, we ended up staying at different relatives and family friend's homes everyday after school. By the time both of them returned we were hungry and we'd go home eat food, and mostly play a little here and there, and sleep.
They never checked our school work. We'd only get beaten up after PTM/results. My father blamed us for poor results, but infact while we were lounging around at other ppl's home after school, majority of kids recieved attention from their parents and did homework.
I don't blame my mom for it, because she was working another shift, back at home, cooking food for us, while my dad went through television programs and news.
He is not a good partner to my mother and it shows. He cannot take 'orders', as in when asked to help - he calls it 'ordering'. On similar notes he is really inconsiderate about how others feel, when he has to do something for them. For instance his idea of sharing is - this is what I've made - eat it, it's tasty. And not the other way around - how would you like it to taste? It applies to every damn thing around us. Clothing - his choice or nothing (poor choices). Furniture - he will design it or nothing (poor designs). He has spent his life doing this in every aspect and we have to live with the kind of things he just provided. You disagree, you are just a 'mentally unstable'. Nonetheless, my mom's frustrations and the hell she has lived through shows at this age of hers.
When I got married, and saw polar opposite of this behaviour amongst my in-laws, I was shocked. I can see how loved my MIL has been throughout her life, and her decision to be SAHM arises from feeling secure in every way possible.
Now that I'm pregnant, and would be at my parent's house after 5th month of pregnancy, I wanted to discuss a few things with my parents. But as imagined my mum was welcoming, and my dad stated that there's no need of a new born nursery, and it's all in my head (I did not want a humongous makeover). My room back at my parent's house is in poor shape. I've lived with old grand dad's time almirah and a bed that's not conducive to being pregnant. Apart from that, there are other problems like house construction going on nearby. It's a moderately crowded place. I think about these things a lot, because many of the new parent's that I know, they've done sound proofing for the new born's sleep. My dad told me "You're mentally unstable for bringing that up". I can see how being absent from his own infants lives has shaped him.
My husband has no idea about this, cannot share as we dont have a perfect marriage and we are still in formative years of marriage. My mum said she'll do her best.
I just want to tell you:
  1. When you get married get married to a person who can get down to your level and serve you when you are at the worst of your life. Things like pregnancy are already hard for women, and please don't end up marrying a guy who won't even appreciate you NOW. Men fail a lot at being a considerate partners, ESPECIALLY during pregnancy and child's formative years.
  2. Love is a great feeling but would you be able to tolerate being pregnant and still your partner not helping you out? When I see people posting how indecisive they are while clearly seeing red flags during dating - I always want you to imagine yourself PREGNANT AND DEALING WITH THAT AS-HOLE of a person!
  3. The person you choose today, will not just affect you, that person is going to affect your child's life too, and later their grandchildrens life too. People forget this impact while they are in love.
  4. Never stay back in an abusive household. Everyone makes mistakes, but that shouldn't mean you should stay stuck with it.
  5. Most men and young marriageable aged girls don't understand gravity of marriages and pregnancy. I wish I could write it and tell you but its difficult. Trust me this ignorance doesn't affect men ever, but as a woman you should sit and ask other women about their marriage, how well her pregnancy went, what was she expecting and how people treated her. What I've personally seen is, women who earn and are financially independent are treated far better than a non earning women.
  6. Don't be shy demanding that your man takes care of you when you NEED it. He shouldn't be watching TV or scrolling his phone when you are sick, and you've asked for food or glass of water. Ordering food online isn't caring. Make sure he cooks something for you, bcz would you treat him with outside food when he's not well? At every waking moment know it well that you deserve the same care as you provide, no matter whether you earn or not.
I want to write more, but I'll leave it upto you all.
Sorry for a long long rant.

🔗Authentic Toy Metal Water Gun

https://preview.redd.it/c61k71pxyi1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=05d07654ea4e380ca0957f15d172b65e968402dc
I recently stumbled upon the Toy Uzi Machine Gun, and let me tell you, it certainly caught my attention. At first glance, it looked like a cool, high-powered toy gun but as I took it out of the box, I found it to be quite different from what was advertised. Instead of a high-powered machine gun, it was just a noise-making toy.
Despite this initial disappointment, once I got it into my son's hands, it became an instant hit. The toy made a ton of noise and was incredibly fun for him to play with. We were surprised by how entertaining it was, considering its simplicity. The Uzi Bb Guns really managed to capture the essence of a noisy water gun.
The highlights of this toy are its ease of use and the fun that comes with its unique design. However, not everyone seems to be happy with what it actually delivers. Some customers have reported receiving products that weren't what was advertised. We hope the company addresses these concerns moving forward, as it's definitely an amusing toy in the hands of a child. Overall, it's a good choice if you want something a bit different that still provides some fun.

🔗Adventurous Military Mission Machine Gun Toy for Kids

https://preview.redd.it/wbtura5yyi1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b8ee1cb2cc35140d3f7d1188d98ab98e2cda27d
I recently had a chance to try out this Gun Toys for Boys Combat Military Mission Machine Gun Toy, and it was quite an experience! The first thing I noticed was the awesome LED flashing lights and sound effects it comes equipped with. It's not your ordinary toy gun – it's a fully immersive military mission toy that can keep your kid entertained for hours!
In my hands, the toy felt sturdy and well-made, which is always a good sign. The scope for aiming and the gun's stand to keep it steady were thoughtful additions to the toy. But let's be honest, the highlight of this toy gun is the rotating bullet feature – it just adds that extra oomph to the playtime!
Now, as much as I enjoyed playing with this Gun Toys for Boys Combat Military Mission Machine Gun Toy, I could see that it might not be for everyone. For parents who are concerned about safety or prefer toys that are more low-key, this toy gun might be a bit too intense. And while it's easy to assemble, some kids might find it a bit challenging to put together on their own.
All in all, this Gun Toys for Boys Combat Military Mission Machine Gun Toy is a fascinating addition to any kid's toy collection. It's perfect for those who love an adventure and are looking for something a bit more daring.

🔗WWII Era Walther P.38 Replica Pistol by Denix

https://preview.redd.it/fwvgbmjyyi1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0ea0c178e6716707dac2de5ca19c733841734f41
I recently got my hands on the Denix Replicas 1081 Walther P. 38 Automatic Pistol and I have to say, it's a real treat for history enthusiasts! The detailed recreation of this iconic WWII weapon is impressive, and it's not just for show. It's heavier than one might expect, which gives it a solid feel in the hand. The pistol-like click of the slide and the smoothness of the mechanism make it a joy to handle, even if it's not fireable.
However, there are some minor drawbacks, like the fact that the slide doesn't lock back and the magazine can't be removed. But considering this is a replica for display purposes rather than practical use, it's not much of a hindrance. It's a conversation starter and a great way to add a piece of history to your collection.

🔗Nickel Finish Smith and Wesson 1869 Army Revolver Replica

https://preview.redd.it/bodiz0wyyi1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f0208f12a4164896e7e2d9d1eca362d676accfc1
As someone who's always been fascinated by the era of the Old West, I couldn't resist trying out this non-firing replica of the 1869 Army Revolver. Featuring a sleek nickel silver finish, this replica brought me back to the iconic "Cowboy" days.
Handling the replica felt like holding a piece of history, with the original's "single action" and "top break" mechanisms. It even had the added bonus of being a non-firing model, which meant I didn't have to worry about accidentally accidentally discharging it.
However, the size and weight of the replica were a bit more challenging to deal with, given that it's a faithful replica of the original. Despite this, I appreciated the fact that it gave me a better understanding of the real gun without the need to purchase one.
All in all, the Denix 1869 Army Revolver replica is a solid choice for anyone looking to step into the boots of a "Cowboy" in the Old West. Just be prepared to handle its size and weight!

🔗Realistic Orange-Green AK47 Plastic Gun for Kids and Adults

https://preview.redd.it/rg8gtjazyi1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=140252e37d437c318131ca5d46379e3066696be2
My experience with this pretend AK47 Machine Gun was nothing short of entertaining. The vibrant orange and green colors definitely added a fun touch to any activity, whether it was for a party or just plain old giggles. It was easy to grip and felt lightweight, making it perfect for kids to play with.
One of the standout features of this gun was the shooting sound it made while the trigger was engaged. It was a fun addition to the overall experience and added that extra element of excitement. However, I did notice that the length of the gun was shorter than the real thing, which might be a slight inconvenience for some users.
When it comes to taking care of it, I found the hand-washing instructions to be straightforward and easy to follow. The cold water and mild soap combo seemed effective in maintaining its appearance.
Overall, this pretend AK47 Machine Gun provided a lot of fun and entertainment for both kids and adults. With its vivid colors, exciting sound effects, and easy-to-handle design, it definitely stands out as a popular choice for dress-up activities and playtime.

🔗Safe Outdoor Toy BB Gun for Kids

https://preview.redd.it/5oz7finzyi1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f41ab0c91974a2042bcec5f74d1b9d75362d94c4
I recently got my hands on the latest Electronic Rifle Bolt Action from LatestBuy, and let me tell you, it's a whole lot of fun for kids aged 5 and above. This outdoor toy rifle comes with a real gun sound and a bolt action feature that makes it a perfect choice for young hunters.
One of the standout features is the realistic sound it produces, making it an exciting addition to outdoor games. However, the bolt action seemed a bit flimsy, so I would recommend it for smaller kids who can be a bit gentler when using it.
Overall, it's a cool toy that can provide hours of enjoyment for little ones. But, be prepared for some inevitable wear-and-tear because that's just part of the adventure.

🔗Affordable Large-Scale US-Made Military Accessories

https://preview.redd.it/xczbq670zi1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2b517281b09cb9d6bb3c3292d28e24f01b3a265c
As someone who's always enjoyed collecting army men, I was excited to try out these BMC Classic MPC Machine Guns in black and silver gray. The size of the weapons, approximately 3 inches long, allows for a perfect balance between detail and playability, which has been an important aspect for me in any army men set I've had.
The set includes 8 black and 8 silver gray M2 Browning. 50 Caliber Air-cooled Machine Guns with removable ammo and mounted on sturdy tripods. It's a nice touch that the ammo is removable, as it adds an extra level of customization to the toys. The black and silver grey colors give the set a distinctive look that stands out from other army men sets I've seen.
However, there could be some room for improvement. The set could benefit from a more sturdy packaging, like a plastic case instead of a polybag with an insert card. This would help protect the guns during transportation and storage, making them a better long-term investment. Additionally, while the size is great for play, it might hinder their display capabilities, as they may not fit perfectly on shelves or display cases.
Overall, these MPC Machine Guns have been a fun addition to my collection and serve as a great example of how well-designed, detailed, and customizable army men can be.

Buyer's Guide

When looking for a cheap automatic gun, there are several factors to consider to ensure that you get the best value for your money. Remember, the price of a gun should not be the only determining factor in your decision.

1. Purpose

Firstly, you need to identify the primary purpose of acquiring an automatic gun. Is it for self-defense, target practice, or maybe even hunting? Your purpose will dictate your choice of firearm, and help determine if you'll need specific features and calibers.

https://preview.redd.it/yclkkin0zi1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=47926e98f552ebe63ad5f6a87511f047d5851842

2. Caliber

Considerations for the caliber of the automatic gun are crucial. Lighter calibers such as. 22 LR or. 380 ACP are commonly preferred for their low recoil and cost-effectiveness. However, higher-caliber guns like. 38 Special or 9mm may provide better stopping power.

3. Capacity

The capacity of the gun's magazine plays a significant role in its performance. Higher-capacity magazines mean fewer trips to the range or fewer reloads in the field. While larger capacity may be your preference, it is essential to consider the ease of loading and unloading.

4. Action Type

Automatic guns primarily come in two types of actions: blowback and recoil-operated. Blowback guns are cheaper and easier to maintain, while recoil-operated guns offer better reliability and are generally more accurate. Factors such as durability, ease of use, and personal preference should guide your decision.

5. Brand Reputation

While the price of a gun is a factor, it should not be the only consideration. It is crucial to choose a brand with a strong reputation, as it signifies quality and reliability. Researching brands with a proven track record in manufacturing firearms can be a helpful starting point.

6. After-Sales Support

Ask about after-sales support. It is imperative to know that you can easily obtain replacement parts, repair services, or even additional magazines, should the need arise.

7. Legal and Safety Regulations

Lastly, ensure that the automatic gun you choose complies with all local, state, and federal laws. Additionally, adhere to proper safety guidelines and always store firearms securely, especially in the presence of children.

In my quest for a reliable holster to carry my trusty Colt Detective Special, I stumbled upon the Galco Hornet Holster. Made from the finest horsehide and backed by Galco's reputation for quality products, I was eager to test it out.
I was not disappointed. Right from the get-go, the fit and finish of the Hornet were impressive, with even the tiniest details accounted for. The initial fit was snug, but following Galco's break-in procedure resulted in a perfect match. The minimal profile of the belt holster made it ideal for concealed carry.
As a holster for everyday carry, the Hornet truly excelled. It fit my Colt Detective Spl perfectly, as if it were made just for it. The comfort and security it provided were unmatched. I could confidently wear it throughout my daily tasks, knowing my firearm was safe and secure.
The Galco Hornet Holster made a significant difference in my concealed carry routine. Its high-quality materials and exceptional craftsmanship made it a reliable and trustworthy companion. If you're looking for a well-made holster to carry your revolver, look no further than the Galco Hornet.

As a recent convert to Versacarry's Guardian Black Vault (OWB) Holster, I must say I'm impressed. The holster offers a universal fit, which is perfect for those who own multiple handguns and don't want to invest in a separate holster for each one. One of the standout features I noticed is the gun retention - it's secure and reliable without causing any discomfort.
The belt loop slots are another highlight, as they're wide enough to make the holster easy to put on. Plus, the variety of designs available means there's something for everyone - I found one that truly complements my style. Lastly, the affordable price point is a great advantage for those on a budget, like myself.
Of course, no product is perfect, and I did encounter a minor issue with the holster being a bit uncomfortable during the break-in period. However, it's nothing a little patience and persistence can't fix. Overall, I'm thoroughly satisfied with the Guardian Black Vault (OWB) Holster from Versacarry, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile and affordable option for their handguns.

As a responsible gun owner, I was always on the lookout for the perfect holster that would provide me with the ultimate security and convenience. Recently, I had the pleasure of trying out the Sig Sauer P365 X-Macro w/out Thumb Safety OWB Holster Prodraw by Vedder Holsters.
One of the first things I noticed about this holster was its customization. Each holster is crafted with precision to fit your gun perfectly, allowing for a snug fit that provides security without limiting your movement. The audible click when securing my gun in the holster was a nice touch, providing reassurance that my firearm was safely in its place.
The convenience factor of this holster is excellent, with an adjustable retention feature that allows you to decide how secure you want your holster to be. The paddle design makes it easy to put on and take off, without the need to undo your belt. The minimal bulk and weight make it ideal for everyday carry.
The quality of the holster is evident, with reinforced shells that ensure a convenient one-handed re-holstering experience, perfect for range days. This holster offers the perfect blend of lightweight, sturdy, and secure, perfect for both concealed and open carry situations.
Although I couldn't find any major drawbacks during my experience, it's always essential to note potential cons for the readers. However, based on the holster's outstanding performance and benefits, I would highly recommend the Sig Sauer P365 X-Macro w/out Thumb Safety OWB Holster Prodraw by Vedder Holsters to anyone in search of the ultimate paddle holster.

🔗Vedder Holsters Charter Arms Holster Claw Add-On Kit

Recently, I got my hands on the Vedder Holsters Holster Claw Add-On Kit. Now, I've always appreciated the minimalist yet functional design of Vedder holsters, but with this new addition, I have to say, it's been a game-changer for my daily carry.
One of the standout features of this kit is the ease of installation. It's simple, and once it's in place, you can truly feel the difference it makes in concealing your firearm. The claw really does its job, pushing the grip closer to your body, a huge plus for those of us who like to stay concealed.
However, it's not all sunshine and roses. The one-screw attachment for the claw can be a bit frustrating. It's tough to find that perfect balance of retention and ease of draw. I had to loosen it just a bit to make it work smoothly, but it still leaves a bit of play that I'd prefer weren't there.
Overall, the Holster Claw Add-On Kit is a solid addition to the Vedder Holsters roster. It adds a level of function and style that has quickly become a staple for my daily carry. Despite the odd hiccup or two, the pros of this product far outweigh the cons.

I've been using the Vedder Holster Claw Add-On Kit for a while now, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer for my everyday carry. With three claws in hand, I was excited to see how they would enhance my experience with my Vedder Lighttuck holsters. The claw system, once properly installed, does an amazing job of pushing the handle of my firearms closer to my body, minimizing the printing, especially for my smaller firearms like a Kahr CW380.
One aspect that could have used some improvement is the lack of a second screw for a more secure attachment, making it difficult to maintain a tight enough grip on my pistol without hindering the draw. Additionally, compatibility with smaller revolvers or light-bearing holsters may not always be consistent, as evident by some of the other reviews I've come across.
Despite these minor cons, I'm pleased with my purchase, and the Vedder Holster Claw Add-On Kit has made my concealed-carry experience even smoother and more comfortable.

🔗Ultimate ComfortTac Belly Band Holster for Quickdraw Access and Concealment

As a reviewer, I've had the chance to try out the ComfortTac Belly Band Holster in my daily life, and I must say, it's been a game-changer. The holster is designed for deep concealment, and its quickdraw access system allows me to draw my weapon in one smooth motion. The retention strap with the deep concealment buckle is a standout feature that ensures my gun stays secure in its place.
One of the things I appreciate most about this holster is its versatility. It fits a variety of gun sizes, making it perfect for those who own multiple firearms. The holster is also versatile enough to be worn in most positions, which means I can use it both under and over clothing. The perforated holes promote less sweating, and the stretchy elastic adjusts to any body type, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods.
However, there are a couple of cons I've encountered while using this holster. The built-in pocket is a great feature, but it could be more secure and prevent accidental exposure. Additionally, the removable magazine pouch is handy for quick access to spare rounds, but it can be a bit difficult to use with larger caliber magazines.
Overall, the ComfortTac Belly Band Holster is an excellent option for those seeking a comfortable, versatile, and secure way to carry their firearms. With its deep concealment, quickdraw access, and custom fit options, it's no wonder why it's a top-selling holster on the market.

🔗Small of Back Holster for Concealed Carry

https://preview.redd.it/ncdf49luxi1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54c45e5ac7ecaaea62ddce760a8ffc935527341d
As a fellow gun enthusiast, I've been in search of the perfect concealed carry holster for quite some time. That is until I stumbled upon the Palm Out Draw Small of Back Holster by Dara Holsters. This holster is nothing short of a game-changer for all those struggling to find the right one.
What stood out to me was the holster's versatility. Despite my body's particular needs, this holster managed to secure my gun in a comfortable position without any hassle. The angle and design of the holster also ensured that the grip was always in reach and the trigger safely covered. It's clear that Dara Holsters put a lot of thought into the positioning of the pistol, making it easier to draw and maintain a balanced stance.
However, no product is perfect, and I did find one minor drawback. The clip that holds the holster to my belt was quite stiff, making removing it at the end of the day slightly more difficult. But that doesn't take away from the holster's overall functionality and the fantastic job it does at concealing my weapon.
In conclusion, the Palm Out Draw Small of Back Holster by Dara Holsters proved to be an excellent investment. It's not only comfortable and efficient in its job, but its construction also highlights the company's commitment to quality and attention to detail. It may have a bit of a learning curve to get the perfect fit, but once you do, it's smooth sailing. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a dependable concealed carry holster.

I had the pleasure of trying out the Bianchi 111 Cyclone Belt Holster for my Charter Arms Undercover 2? Bar handgun. As a dedicated gun owner, I always prioritize safety and convenience when it comes to my holsters. This particular holster stood out to me right away.
The moment I slid my handgun into the holster, I appreciated the snug fit that it had. The soft and supple leather felt luxurious on my handgun. I loved how it secured my handgun while still allowing me to easily draw it from the holster when needed. One of the best features of this holster was its ability to be worn cross-draw style, which I found to be a great option when spending time in the car.
However, there was a bit of a downside. The snug fit that made me feel secure also made it a bit challenging to remove my handgun from the holster. I occasionally had to use extra force to get it out, which might not be ideal for some.
Overall, my experience with the Bianchi 111 Cyclone Belt Holster has left me impressed with its level of craftsmanship and comfort. While there might be a slight learning curve when it comes to removing the handgun, the holster's build quality and versatile design make it a worthwhile investment for frequent users.

I recently purchased the Charter Arms Custom Kydex Holster for my Charter Arms Undercover 38 Special and was quite impressed with how well it fits my gun. The holster is made from high-quality Kydex material and has a sleek, low-profile design that fits comfortably in my front pocket. The fast draw feature is a great addition, making it easy and quick to access my firearm when needed.
One of the standout features of this holster is its customization options, with 12 different colors to choose from. I opted for the black color, which adds a subtle touch of style to my everyday carry. The holster also comes with a 100% no-questions-asked lifetime warranty, giving me peace of mind as I use it.
The only slight drawback I encountered was that the holster had a slightly different shape from the product photos. However, this didn't affect its overall functionality, and I soon realized it was because each holster is handmade, which adds to their unique appeal.
Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend the Charter Arms Custom Kydex Holster for anyone looking for a high-quality, convenient, and stylish way to carry their Charter Arms Undercover 38 Special.

🔗Charter Arms Undercover 38 SPL Revolver Leather OWB Holster - Comfortable and Secure Fit

For the past few weeks, I've been using the Charter Arms Undercover 38 SPL Revolver 2-3 inch Leather OWB Holster in my daily life. This holster has been a game-changer when it comes to carrying my firearm securely while on the go.
One of the best features of this holster is its fit. The leather is carefully molded to perfectly fit my specific firearm, providing a comfortable and secure holder. The hand-dressed and burnished edges give it a classic yet stylish look that blends well with my personality.
However, there have been a couple of drawbacks. The shipping time did take a bit longer than expected, but it was understandable considering the product's origin. Additionally, I encountered some issues with the warranty process, which required a bit more communication than I would have liked.
Overall, the Charter Arms Undercover 38 SPL Revolver 2-3 inch Leather OWB Holster has been a steady companion, providing both security and ease of use during my daily activities. While there have been a few hiccups along the way, the pros definitely outweigh the cons, making it a reliable and stylish option for concealed carry.

Buyer's Guide

When purchasing a holster for your Charter Arms firearm, consider several factors to ensure you make the best choice. Our buyer's guide features crucial aspects to consider, such as material, retention, and concealment. By following these guidelines, you can find a high-quality and functional Charter Arms holster that suits your needs and preferences.

Choose the Right Holster Material

https://preview.redd.it/lcxkrm7wxi1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f9c1b3b1fe7482d8f7791cd1824dddbe9da9a233
There are multiple holster materials to choose from, including leather, Kydex, and nylon. Leather holsters are known for their durability and stylish appearance. Kydex holsters are lightweight, durable, and maintain their shape well. Nylon holsters are cost-effective, but they may not last as long as leather or Kydex.

Consider Retention

Retention is essential for a secure holster. It ensures that your firearm stays in place when you need it to, and it prevents accidental discharge. Look for a holster that offers adjustable retention, as this will allow you to fine-tune the level of hold your firearm experiences. Retention methods may include thumb snap locks, locking latches, or passive retention systems.

Focus on Concealment

A concealable holster is crucial for everyday carry as it helps protect your firearm from potential threats. In this regard, consider the holster’s design, such as an inside-the-waistband (IWB) or outside-the-waistband (OWB) configuration. Some holsters also feature concealment clips that help minimize the profile of the holster and its contents.

https://preview.redd.it/3s1v4sgwxi1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=84a52cd3103f067bbbaea10bbda29617ea65720e

Holster Compatibility

Before committing to a holster, make sure it is compatible with your Charter Arms pistol. Check the holster’s model, brand, or dimensions to ensure it will fit your specific firearm. Some manufacturers provide a list of compatible pistols to simplify this process. It's essential to consider the correct grip width as well.

Fit and Comfort

A well-fitting holster contributes to your overall comfort. Ensure that the holster is designed for your particular Charter Arms model, as this will ensure a proper fit. Pay attention to any adjustable features that might affect the fit and comfort of the holster. A comfortable holster with proper retention can make a significant difference to your carry experience.

Warranty and Customer Support

https://preview.redd.it/5eh62gbbyi1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aab4fc39c38a752568fcaee4a411f3d49a7d07b8
Before purchasing a Charter Arms holster, consider the warranty and customer support provided by the manufacturer. A reputable company will typically cover their products with a warranty and offer excellent customer support to address any issues or concerns that might arise.
When choosing a Charter Arms holster, prioritize features such as material, retention, concealment, compatibility, fit, and comfort. Don't forget about warranty and customer support from the manufacturer. By taking these factors into account, you’ll be well-prepared to find the ideal holster for your Charter Arms firearm and ensure a safe and comfortable carry experience.

2024.05.20 08:20 circleofwillis1 Would love a second baby but it’s now or never & family say NO.

This is long but the jist is that I would love a second child but due to my health problems, family think it’s a bad idea and it’s getting me down.
I’m 30 years old and have a 16 month old son already. I trained to be a psychologist with uni degrees, and my partner is a doctor. I honestly believe that if the story stopped there, people would be more accepting of our wishes. However I have lung disease and adrenal insufficiency which, put together mean I spent a lot of time (weeks / months each year) very very unwell in hospital, often critical care. When I’m home I look after our toddler by myself the majority of the time. I do have my mum helping most Tuesdays and my in laws on Thursday mornings so we are really lucky to have that support. Day to day I do struggle… I have a lot of pain from where the chest drains damaged nerves during surgeries for my lungs, and I don’t sleep well at night so I’m always exhausted. However I definitely put my remaining energy into my son, and into my ‘mum friends’ here where we live to ensure that we have a good day to day life seeing friends, going out and that he has the stimulation etc he needs. When I’m here, I’m here and I think I do a good job.
The thing is, my partner and I always wanted two children: we would LOVE for our son to have the pleasure of a sibling as we both do. We loved having a best friend, a comrade etc growing up and we are both close with our siblings now as adults. And honestly? I love babies. I would just love to have another newborn in my arms to nurture. Neither my partner or I felt phased by any of the ‘newborn’ stuff. We are both used to sleepless nights, we laughed at the poo explosions and have got through our first norovirus with our one year old. Even the bits of parenting that people say make it ‘hard’ - we have embraced and enjoyed. We really really want to try and have another child. We are aware maybe we won’t be so fortunate this time. We may struggle to get pregnant. We may not have another gorgeous healthy baby BUT, many couples have the privilege to try and have a second baby and we would love that.
More problems - I’m due to have a surgery soon which will possibly mean the end to fertility / ability to have babies. Thus, we thought we had time but we don’t. It may be we need to make this decision now. Now or never.
I spoke about this with my MIL (probably a mistake as she’s been pretty harsh / opinionated in the past but we’d had a breakthrough and my guard was down!!) and she made it pretty clear she thought it was a bad idea. My SIL, the same. My own mum, absolutely against us having more children. They think we should be grateful for the healthy boy we have and focus on him. Which is probably valid in many ways?
I am on home oxygen for my lungs. I do have emergency hospital admissions. I do struggle. BUT, I also do 80-90% of the day to day ‘work’ with my son and I have never been happier in those moments when I’m with him and watching him grow. Obviously it’s hard and there are times, like when I’m admitted to hospital, when I cannot care for him and that’s heartbreaking. We do lean on family during those times which I think is why this feels like a group decision rather than one between my partner and me?
So basically I just feel sad. I feel robbed of the decision to have another baby that many people are able to make effortlessly. I know some people can’t have children at all and I can’t explain how incredibly grateful I am that we have one baby. We just want him to have a sibling and WE want to double our workload and introduce another little human into our family.

2024.05.20 08:18 GodPESC How to farm the pokemon you want quickly

Hello i don't know how long this thread will be relevant because the way I'm going to explain it's based on a bug (or at least i think it is) so they will probably fix this sooner or later. I don't even know if it's something already known but I thought it would be good to share with everybody in case it's not something known. Basically when you have a saving and catch pokemon you get the candies for caught pokemon and go to next floor, but if you catch the pokemon go to next floor and then exit open another save > open the menu > save and quit > reload > load game (the one where you just encountered the pokemon(s) you want to farm) it will be reset to the first floor or the stage. This means that if you encounter a legendary at floor 942 (example) and you catch it and you do what i just said you will restart from floor 941 and on 942 there will be again the same legendary so you can catch it as many times as you wish and farm candies for that pokemon.
Some notes:
Hope this will be helpful to someone :)

I had insomnia for more than a decade now, every night seems to be like torture, it reminds me of every bad thing that has happened to me, and worst of all it reminds me how unloved and a failure I am, I have never been loved by anyone, I mean anyone not even by my sisters or my mother or anyone. I never received an "I love you" or a compliment from anyone in these 25 years of existence, I don't know if I'm ugly (I'll show my picture to you guys just to let you know I'm not that ugly) or what. I just wanna be loved and wanted and appreciated, I'm tired of this judging and nudging, in fact, I'm tired of this life, I just wanna rest. if God tells me he will give me the best life I can wish for in my second life I will totally let this idea down, I really don't wanna live anymore my soul is tired of this. I think suicidal people are angels who just wanna go back home early.
i don't know what to say.
I just pray God just kills me now, I don't care if he sends me to hell or heaven I just wanna get away from this realm.
Edit. I don't think I can feel loved anymore. I am just a walking dead person.

2024.05.20 08:11 Sir_Gendrotivus My best friend is still friends with the man who assaulted me.

I’m using a throwaway account for this just in case. Also this is very long, I tried making it shorter, sorry.
A little over three years ago I (23F) met an amazing lady at work, I’ll call her Susan (33F). She is a bit older than me but we clicked instantly. We are the best of friends and I love her to pieces.
About a year after we met she posted a photo of me online and one of her friends, we will call him Jack (30M), responded saying I was cute and asked her who I was. Jack lived in another state but Susan and Jack have known each other for a very long time. They met in High-School and are very very close.
Anyway, eventually Susan gave Jack my info and Jack and I also became really close friends. Eventually he moved to where Susan and I live and we all began hanging out all the time.
About a year ago, (a little over a year into me knowing Jack.) the three of us went on a trip together. During that trip Jack got really drunk and assaulted me the night before we were to return home. I didn’t say anything the next day because I didn’t want to ruin the trip for Susan.
Once we finally did get back home it took me about a week to fully process everything that had happened. It was a lot to handle considering how close I was with Jack. Not only that but what was harder was figuring out how to tell Susan about it. Like I said, her and Jack are very very close.
Anyway, eventually I told her what had happened and she was obviously disgusted and horrified that he would ever do that. A time or two she tried to “justify” it by saying things like how he was drunk and how he isn’t that type of guy but I think that was more of the shock than anything else.
When I eventually told Jack that I didn’t want to be around him anymore (the same day I told Susan what happened) we went our separate ways. Honestly the details of how all of that went down don’t really matter. What I’m here to talk about is how a year later Susan and Jack are still really close friends.
Now, let me start by saying that I did tell her that she didn’t have to blow up a 10+ year friendship because of me. So I don’t really have any right to feel upset about any of this to begin with. I think I’m more here to see what other people’s opinions are.
Anyway, Susan and Jack didn’t really talk for a few months because of this. I mean they did talk all the time but never in person. Susan decided she did want to stay friends with him she just wasn’t entirely comfortable being around him until she had processed everything herself.
However, eventually they did start hanging out again. Not only that but Susan regularly makes comments about how she wishes we were all still friends and that him and I would make up. Sometimes she will mention inviting him out drinking with us while we are already out drinking. When I tell her I don’t think it’s the best idea she will say something like, “yeah but you love me so you’ll put up with him for me”
Not just that but she gives me regular updates on his life and tells me everything going on with him. Especially about how much he misses me and regrets what he did by destroying our friendship.
I don’t know, on one hand I don’t care because literally I couldn’t care less about this fucking guy. I don’t like him and he means shit to me these days, I literally never think about him unless she brings him up.
But on the other hand what actually bothers me a little is how much she brings him up. I’ve told her multiple times I don’t care about his life or what he’s doing and for the rest of that day she won’t bring him up but the next time we are out she will.
Before you say it, I know I’m being a hypocrite by saying this but part of me is a little… hurt? Upset? Sad? I don’t know the right word for it but part of me feels something about how she didn’t really say anything to him about it.
I mean they talk about what happened a lot with each other because, like I said, Jack is a baby who can’t accept that his actions have consequences. I don’t know, maybe it’s the fact that they are exactly the same as before that bothers me? I never expected her to stop being friends with him. But I guess I thought something would happen.
Even though her and I are each other’s person. They have a long history together and it takes more than one incident to walk away from all of that. I just know how I would react if the rolls were reversed and it’s a lot different.
Like I said, I don’t know exactly what I’m looking for with posting this. To be completely honest I don’t really know how I feel about all of this. It’s not something that really upsets me, but I guess it just stings a little. I don’t know, I’m not the best with words. If you have any thoughts, opinions, questions, anything at all I’ll gladly take it. Maybe all I really want is someone to talk about it with, idk.

2024.05.20 08:10 ayamleo Good places to get beads in Singapore?

There used to be this store called Beads etc. in Somerset that sold all kinds of beads and you could make like custom necklaces/bracelets and stuff. It’s closed so I’m looking for any other similar shops. Looking to make a necklace with black opal beads :)
