hello i am currently a grade 12 STEM student and i am still not fully decided if i will enroll sa dlsmhsi medtech. can i ask po about the pros and cons po of taking medtech as premed? Also how is medtech in dlsmhsi (about their performance, students, tuition, subjects to take, facilities etc.)?

I am the aforementioned “professor” in a BORU post about me related to posts in subreddit. I decided to post a response after this event was brought up again with a mutual, Maria. We’re both hanging out as I type this. She and I have both hung out with “boyfriend” (Bob) in group settings and think there are definitely two sides to this story. My main gripe is being portrayed as a drunk and a man-stealer. Below is the original BORU post that I found while browsing one day. Also, someone did find me after reading this post due to how specific it is. I am responding pararaph by paragraph so you do not need to read the original post, feel free to.

My bf (24M) became friends with his former professor (25F), sometime last year - I don't know what to make of it. They seem to be friendly and talk consistently every week, and from what he tells me, it's usually very surface level. Sometime last year after the course ended, my bf, his professor, and some of his male classmates went somewhere to eat together. My bf brought up that he was going to be attending an event (plastic modeling show), and his professsor showed interest and invited herself to the event and asked if she could stay at his airbnb with his friends. My bf and his friends were all OK with it.

I was an instructor for one class/semester that BF (Bob) attended. I have no say or sway at the school and have not taught since then. I taught a class related to my profession. I did not get to know Bob personally until after the class was over. On the last day, he expressed that I was a great instructor and gave me a miniature he built as a show of gratitude. I also made miniatures (a different type though) and was intrigued that someone else was into this hobby. We stayed in touch. Later, I invited a few students for a meal (girls and guys) and the boy students were the only ones who RSVP’d yes. Bob did mention an event. I did not invite myself, I said me and my friend Linda were interested and may go too. Later on, Bob invited me to join their group’s airbnb because I was looking at hotels. A previous event trip fell through for my and Linda’s friend group and I felt bad she couldn’t go on a trip in the USA before she had to go back to her home country. This trip was to replace that experience. Bob invited us to the airbnb and Linda and I shared a room with 2 beds, Maria ended up coming on this trip as well, which the group was also okay with, and stayed in the same room with me and Linda

I unfortunately couldn't attend the event, but from what my bf told me, he and a few of his friends met up at their airbnb. That same day, his professor comes to my bf's airbnb and tagged a few of her girl friends along (I believe they all stayed in the same place). The next day, they go to the event, went to a bar afterwards and got drinks. A lot of them (except my bf) got pretty drunk and my bf took the liberty of being the designated driver for his professor and her friends. His professor won some model kit from the event, and even in her drunken state, asked my bf if he could stay up with her to work on the kit together. From what my bf tells me, nothing else happened that night.

Respectfully, I had one cocktail and then his friend bought everyone a shot. That was the extent of my drinking. I wasn’t drunk, Linda wasn’t drunk, and no one else in the group ended up being drunk., Maria was though. Maria underestimated how strong the drinks were and she was the DD and we did not have enough time to sober up once she felt the alcohol hit her. She couldn’t drive, I didn’t want to drive her dad’s car, and Linda doesn’t have a US driver's license. Bob offered to drive the car with me, Linda, and Maria back to the airbnb. The other car was driven back by his friend who was not drunk and drove sober. At the airbnb, Bob asked what i would do with the model kit I won, I said i am not familiar with this type of miniature and so I would sell it on facebook marketplace. He said it was actually easy to build, he had built that one before, and he could help me build it right then as all their tools for building were still out on the table. I said he didn’t have to but he insisted and I accepted his help. I was also still not drunk. Next to us in the living room, Maria and 2 of the guys were watching Ouran High Scool Host Club and Cowboy bebop. We all stayed up until 2AM building or watching anime. For half of the trip, me and the girls split off and did our own thing. We did not stay with the group the entire tip because our intent was to piggy back a small girls weekend while also seeing the event.

After the event, everyone from that group created a group chat and they continue to plan and talk about future events together. Since then, my bf and his friends had met up with his professor and got to meet his professor's fiance at an anime convention and it sounded like they all got along well. His professor continues to express interest in other events and it sounds like she may be attending another event with my bf and his friends in the near future.
I trust my boyfriend and don't think he is hiding anything from me. Honestly speaking, I think it's hard for me to understand their friendship as it is his professor. I've had a conversation with him on this, and he's let me know that I have nothing to worry about. I would like to hear other's opinions and see what ya'll think of this friendship? Is this something I need to be concerned about or is it really nothing?

Bob and his group went to an anime convention. I and my friend group also went because I was not aware there was one near me until Bob mentioned it. My friend group, I thought, got along well with his friends and it was a great first con experience. I and a few of my friends expressed interest in future events. I think she is hung up on this professor titleship but I was an instructor whom students called professor but I was very clear this was a side gig and I was had a career. I was never in any position of power at the school, I was a contract employee used to fill an open course section at an undesirable time. For the majority of the time I knew Bob, we were equals who were only 1 year apart in age and shared a similar hobby.

Clarification:
Commenter: You say “his professor” what is their specific academic connection? She taught him once years ago and now they’re roughly equals and friends? Or she’s his primary support for a PhD? Or what?
OOP: The first option - she taught him last year and now are now friends. He is no longer in a course with her. I totally understand how it's possible for students and their professors to be friendly, but i've never heard or seen of a friendship where you consistently talk and hang out together so casually.
So she's no longer his professor- they are two adults of the same age and power level:

I respect that they view my actions unprofessionally. I did not view it as such since I was no longer an instructor and have not been since. I taught a 4 month course one day a week. I would not be friends with an 18-22 year old I had nothing in common with.

Update: my boyfriend and I had a more heart-to-heart talk regarding his teacher and he recognizes that it crossed some of my boundaries. He believes that she may be behaving the way she does because when she hangs out with her fiance's friends, she gets bored with them (and may possibly be seeking attention from other people?). Several weeks later, my boyfriend had a conversation with his college instructor regarding their friendship and told her how I didn't feel comfortable of their friendship and how he thinks they should keep communication at a minimum. She brought up how she understands because her fiance also had an issue with how she chose to share an airbnb with my bf. She mentions to my boyfriend that she sees him as a brother and that's why she feels really comfortable with him, but that she will try to respect my boyfriend's wishes of keeping conversations at a minimum.

I did not know it had crossed any of their boundaries at the time until the phone call. I treated Bob the same way I treated all of my friends but I do understand and respect that not everyone has the same view of friendship. My friend group went through a period where we would talk about going to stuff and then no one does any work to follow through. The event Linda and our friends were going to attend that never happened is a good example. I didn’t want lazy friends being the reason why I did not experience things. Bob did follow through on going to things. My husband’s concern was that it was a group of guys we had not met yet in person and we were all girls. I told him that if I thought any one of them was giving off weird vibes, we would immediately leave and get a hotel. As for the phone call, he did call to tell me basically the same and my understanding was that we should talk less because she does not like the closeness. At the time, we were messaging every day and I did make an attempt to reduce the frequency to once a week.

Well, even after that talk, she continues to still message my boyfriend weekly on random life updates. And because she is also part of my bf's chat in discord, one of his friends invited her to attend another plastic modeling show (it occurred recently) and dinner. Since she accepted the invitations, I chose to attend as well so that I could personally meet her. The dinner occurred first and it was very uncomfortable because she practically ignored me the entire night. When she joined us at the table, she greeted my bf but didn't say anything to me (even my bf noticed and got annoyed, but then introduced us). She got increasingly drunk throughout the night and was saying random stuff about my bf to his friends like "he could've been the best student in my class but it's cause he missed some assignments" and "[bf's name] gave me a 5 star review on rate my professor!". She ended up not going to the show, but my bf had a chat with his guys and they told him that they want to respect my feelings too and make it a guys' night next time.
I would like to hear other's opinions and see if you also think she is acting suspicious?

One thing left out is that during the phone call between Bob and I, I asked Bob if his GF would want to ever talk to or get to know me, or all 3 of us hang out, and he said he asked her and she said she did not want to do that and she was uncomfortable at the thought of meeting me. I did stop messaging him frequently and only did so once a week to ask how his job search was going and to let him know the status of a big event in my life. I thought that was what was requested, less interaction, not no interaction. Maria and I went to this dinner because everyone from the airbnb trip was going to be there (Linda did not go). What is not mentioned is that Bob and the GF arrived 40 minutes into eating. I nodded in their direction when they came and said hey in their general direction, not specifically at Bob or her. I did not talk to either specifically because (1) GF does not like me and him talking and I was not about to directly talk to Bob in front of her (2) she said she did not want to talk to me or get to know me and never retracted that statement. I learned Bob and GF thought it was a slight against them that I only said hey to Bob but I didn’t direct it to anyone and I was trying to play it safe. Had I known she came to personally meet me, I would have tried to talk to her. After learning why she came, I was surprised she did not talk to me even though she came to meet me. As for the alcohol, except for them, since they arrived late, everyone had 2-3 drinks already because it was happy hour. Me and Maria made friends with the bartender who gave us discounted cocktails. I even bought a drink for GF so she could get the discount and then pay me back. It is true I said those jokes but I said them in jest and these were jokes already made previously. To be fair, she did not try to talk to me at all, nor did she try to talk to Maria. Later that week, Maria called me to catch up and mentioned the dinner. She commented that GF made no effort to get to know us and thought GF went to monitor him and me. In essence, she ignored me and Maria and Maria and I ignored her. I did not go to the show because I had a prior commitment.

I agree, she is crossing some professional and personal boundaries, and I think it's quite unusual behavior for any teacher to act like that. Yes, he has stopped communicating with her. She was consistently messaging him until last week...so hopefully she got the memo.

As mentioned in her post, I did view Bob as a brother. He lived similar experiences to me but I felt like he was where I would have been had I not moved out from my parents when I did. I wanted to see him professionally thrive and accomplish his goals of getting a car and moving out as those were things I strived for but had already attained. As for the 5-6 times we met up, it was in group settings and he met all of my friends and my husband as well. This post, to me, makes it seem like I was always hanging on to Bob but there were many instances of me and my friends breaking off to do our own thing. My husband and Linda’s husband were both okay with us going to the airbnb at the time and later on met and got to know Bob too. Each time we met, if I drank, I had 2 drinks and one time I had 3. I am not sure how Bob told these events to his GF so it may just be lost in translation but the only person who ever got drunk at a meet up was Maria and it was once. I do not agree with her stating that I was constantly drunk for each meet up or always asking/inviting myself to things. He invited me to join his airbnb group (i asked if Linda and Maria could join me), I did ask to join his group for another event until my friend group arrived (which included my husband, Linda, and Maria), and his friend invited me to the group dinner (Maria attended). To this day, his GF has never said a word to me or Maria (she did not say hi, only waved to us), nor us her. When I offered to order and bring her cocktail from the bar, I believe Bob was the one who responded to my offer. I only found out about what she was thinking via this BORU post. Linda, Maria, and I haven’t talked to Bob since, this was a cathartic write with Maria as it is very jarring to randomly find a post about yourself and then also have someone find you from that post.

I’m the type of person wh puts people I care about way ahead of myself. This makes it very difficult for me to pick what is best for me and make decisions that may improve my life if it negatively impacts someone else.
Background on my relationship. My partner (Sam) and I have been together for 7 years and have had a rocky road. We went to the same college for 2 years and during that span almost broke up 6-8 times.
Year 3 Sam was working, had a long commute, and hated her job. When she came home from work she was typically miserable to be around and would spew firefly remakes in all directions sometimes taking it out on me.
Years 4-5 Sam moved to a different state to study (during COVID) and things were actually pretty good between us. We handled the long distance pretty well.
Year 5-6 we moved in together. The day to day was fun together but overall was terrible for me. She hated her job and would use me as a punching bag by taking things out on me even if it was super minor or not my fault. The majority of our conversations were her ranting about work for 3-5 hours straight as soon as I walked in the door. If I didn’t say exactly what she wanted to hear she would turn her anger towards me. She hated living there and felt like she blamed me for it. She told me multiple times she didn’t want to move in and it was my fault (I asked if it was ok if we moved in together and didn’t realize it was a problem). I went through some bad depression in the winter and she was supportive. I said it was mostly family stuff but in reality it was our relationship. I was heartbroken and felt like it was the end. My therapist didn’t help me make a decision much and I don’t think I used my therapist the best. I would stay up crying at night and get increased anxiety with every hug. It was a living hell.
We moved to a new place and things got a bit better. The constant negative talk about work slowed down and came to a manageable and normal level. However, I feel like our small bickering has turned into a bit of resentment.
Lately I’ve been having increased anxiety again about our relationship. We’ve been taking everything said the wrong way, she’s been snappy again, my skin hasn’t been as thick as it used to, etc. We went away on vacation for two weeks and I told myself this would help me decide how our relationship was going since it was 2 weeks away from stress and work. The first week was terrible and she was very mean to me. Everything she said towards me was negative and bitter (not always about me but in general). Found out she was mad I didn’t help her plan as much as she would have liked. I asked every day how I could help and the way we normally operate is I take care of all the day to day stuff (cooking, cleaning, groceries, planning, organizing, etc) and she does more on this trip planning front. Second week was better and enjoyable after we talked but I was still anxious.
Pros (shortened) 1. She loves me more than I thought possible. She is very good at expressing her love for me and truly makes me feel it during the good. 2. I love and care about her more than anything else in this world. 3. She cares about me and wants the best for me. 4. She pushes me to be better. 5. We have fun together. 6. She makes me laugh. We always go to bed laughing and smiling and she always finds a way to say something to make me giggle 7. Love our routine.
Cons 1. She sees me in the worst light. She always thinks I’m doing something to hurt her either with my actions or with my words. Everything I say can be taken the wrong way and is assumed as much (I do the same). She always accuses me of cheating even tho I have no history and don’t talk to other women 2. An extremely negative person. Smallest inconveniences turn into a big problem. Always sees the worst in people and in things. I used to be a very positive person. 3. Not understanding. If I make a small mistake that does not impact anything she jumps down my back 4. Our day to day lifestyle doesn’t match. I like to do more she likes to watch tv. 5. I do everything around the house. I like doing everything so that isn’t the problem. The problem is when I get a break and she cooks dinner and I get in trouble for not helping or she has a longer day and complains and I end up cooking or listening to her complain about her one day of the week cooking 6. She severely mistreats her family. When we spend too much time with them she starts to treat me the same way. 7. She hates my family 8. She hates my job and makes it hard for me to talk about my achievements 9. Vegetarian at home. not a real problem just a minor inconvenience
I truly don’t know how to proceed and I could talk about this all day but this post is long enough. Contemplated going back to therapy to work this out and help get answers. Any advice on what I should do is greatly appreciated. What should I do?

Hi, NYC Teachers,
While I still would like to somehow (by the grace of God) get back into DOE, I still need a job. So, I got one at a charter school. I know what a charter is and I have read and heard a lot of horror stories about working at a charter school. Without disclosing the one I will be working for, from my research and actually interviewing/demo lesson and talking to a couple teachers, the school seems fine. Now, I also know the hours are long (7:30 - 3:30). What I would like to know is the following, from someone who has taught for a charter school:

1. How much autonomy do you have? I understand that some things I may not be able to do without an actual approval from the P. For example, I decided to be proactive so I did a few DonorsChoose projects. Soon enough the P emailed me and asked not only to remove the projects, but close my account completely! I was shocked.
   
2. Goes back to the question 1: Does each teacher get to decorate their classroom any way they want, or the school has a uniform policy that each classroom must look a certain way? I interviewed at one charter school and I visited the classroom. Each classroom looked like the mirror image!
   
3. While the official hours are 7:30 - 3:30, does that mean that I dismiss at 3:30 or I must have dismissed by 3:30? When I worked for DOE if my contractual hours stated 8-2:20, that means I can arrive to school at 7:59 am and dismiss by 2:20 and be done.
   
4. The school P told me during the interview that he supposedly uses Danielson, like the DOE. There is a good and bad about it. The good is that I am familiar with it. But since it is charter, I do not know how often they will use it and how particular they will be about each component. Any tips here?
   
5. While working for DOE I knew I was protected by UFT. When the P would ask if I wanted to do after school, or participate in some event, I could easily say NO, without fearing that the P may use that against me. But now at charter, do I have to participate in everything that my P wants me to? Can I refuse to participate? I know some charters actually write into the contract that teachers must put in like 40 unpaid mandatory hours outside of the contractual hours. I find this outrageous and even illegal.
   
6. This school is using Wit and Wisdom for their ELA. I did some research and it appears that most teachers actually hate it, saying it is developmentally inappropriate. I do not know the student population so I cannot say much, but I assume some students may still be way below grade level. This really freaks me out because I know nothing about this curriculum. While I am open to learn it, I don't want it to take most of my time outside of my contractual hours.
   
7. I was told that I would have preps. Yet I was also told that some meetings may take place during preps. This is the biggest issue I have as it angers me. I mean, preps meant to prep for my lessons! If I waste my time attending some meetings, when am I supposed to prep? Aha! At home????
   
8. Any other tips as to how to survive my first year at a charter school.

Long time lurker here! I'm an RN living in a HCOL metro area, looking for advice on 2 job offers. For context, I left a 110k bedside job that was causing me so much stress I developed serious health problems. I cannot imagine stepping foot in a hospital again.
I'm looking to go back to a job outside the hospital. I have 2 offers I need to decide on by the end of the week. I will be moving out of state sometime next year and both companies know this. I've also been accepted to 2 nurse practitioner programs that would take about a year to finish: one in psych specialty, the other in family. I have RN experience in both. Ultimately I think family would give me flexibility to continue less patient-facing roles with lower risk (I have a friend who only does insurance assessments and another who is fully WFH) as psych is all about medication management.
Job 1

• Pros: 4 day WFH/1 day office schedule (love this!), great PTO, moderate stress at most, company looks good on resume, adds experience in a sub-specialty I haven't worked in before, they will pay for an employer sponsored certification after a year which could be valuable. Zero patient contact (yay). Easier on the body as I am still recovering from health issues. Looks good to future employers if I become a family NP.
• Cons: Underpaid even after negotiation, more involved with office/government politics, my future coworkers & manager are very unpleasant and catty, though only having to deal with them in person once a week is probably doable. Zero possibility for promotion.

Job 2

• Pros: pays 20% more than Job 1, slightly more seniority, company seems to offer a more positive work environment, potential for promotion in a few months but who knows if this will actually happen. Looks good to future employers if I become a psych NP.
• Cons: only 1 day WFH, PTO policy unknown, 30min commute one way. Involves a little more hands-on work, potential for some light patient care though unlikely. Not eligible for employer sponsored certification. Harder on body already due to early schedule and going into clinic 4 days.

I'm somebody who sees there are pros and cons to everything in life. It's all about what is more effective: the pros or the cons.Unfortunately, even some of the hardest and darkest situations have their pros.
I have a theory. Bear in mind, I hope and pray nobody ever does this.
Also, this post isn't meant to offend or upset people either.But my theory is that people who commit suicide don't actually die but instead go back in time and live their life again to make it right and better.
That's the pro in the situation I can think of.But obviously, the negatives speak louder.
However, the pro for that person who does it is they get to start again.It's just how I see it. I am open to being wrong, but it's what I reckon and think.

Hello everyone! I'm writing to get your opinion on a decision regarding a bass cabinet. I recently took advantage of an offer on Thomann (I live in Germany) and bought the Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 amp. Now I have to decide which cab is more suitable for what I play, and I'm between these two options:

• Markbass Traveler 102P 4 ohms
• Aguilar SL112

The MB costs half as much as the AG, although I would be willing to pay for the AG too. I'm generally more inclined towards the AG (it's lighter, which is important to me), but I'm afraid that with a 500w head at 4 ohms, I would only be able to use 250w of the cabinet, and I'm afraid that might be too little, whereas with the Markbass, I could use 400w.
A few details:

• I play Latin, jazz, and we are a band of 6, not very noisy but I like the bass to have presence and sound full.
• We usually play in bars / outdoors / medium-size venues, nothing too professional.
• The lightweight factor is very important to me.
• I can't try them out since I'm in a city that doesn't have too many music stores, and these are the best options I found on Thomann.

What would you recommend I do? What are the pros/cons of each option? I'm really undecided about which one to buy. Thanks!

I'm fairly new to this with a starter that's nearly/only 25 days old. I've made a bunch of things, pizza dough, bread, and also my wife has used the discard in all sorts of yummy treats! But I want to understand more of the science and technique:
I've been predominantly relying on recipes from here: https://www.farmhouseonboone.com/how-to-make-whole-wheat-sourdough-bread . My wife and I like to use wholewheat and so that's what I've been doing, however, I want to know a few things based on the science and why we don't typically do certain things:

• Why do we need to use active starter?
  • Why can't I just add some dormant starter to my dough and have it work its way through adjusting the percentages?
• I'm using about 68% hydration on the recipe quoted above for bread, but I've seen other places go up as much as 80%
  • what are the pros and cons?
  • should I adjust this for whole wheat?
  • I'm in Ontario Canada, is my flour going to be any different to some of you that I should adjust the hydration?
• What's the scientific value of adding the salt?
  • is it just flavour?
  • does it change the chemistry of the dough at all?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts... I'm assuming there are no right answers here but a variety of possible right answers that people have found. So I'm curious to hear what you think!

I'm always gonna be biased towards the mainland European players so I'm very happy to see Artemijs and Antoni coming through. I didn't know about Artemijs before this year's Q school but he seems like a very exciting prospect, and he basically made it onto the tour first try with a very impressive display. And Antoni has been close to getting on the tour for a while now, and he seemed so happy in his interview, I wish him all the best.
Also great to see Sunny Akani returning to the tour, I hope he's mostly sorted with the long COVID, that must have been tough. And it's always good to have Allan on the tour, I hope he's gonna have a better two seasons than the last ones.
I'm gutted for Boiko. He has been so close so many times now. He's gonna be high on the list for the top-ups and with so many pros not playing in various tournaments, we'll definitely see him now and again on the main tour. Still, I really thought he was gonna make it this time.

Let me just first say I'm a Diablo series enjoyer and have been playing d2 since 2002 and d3 since 2012. Each game has its pros and cons and its own feel. Watching rainbow unicorns fart out gold and vomit up cosmic wings isn't exactly for everyone. D2's loot progression and surprisingly deep yet simple character progression is the iconic throat goat of the arpg industry. D3's smooth feel, efficient gameplay loop, cozy damage vs toughness systems, and linear paragon power are great for zoning out but boring for some. To each their own. I genuinely love them both so much.
So why is it that when I'm playing D4 I quickly get this subtle bad taste in my mouth? Cheeto breath you say? I have plenty of Baja Blast for that. No. I'd say it's all the little freaking problems adding up and sapping my enjoyment. Maybe there's a better way to put it... Your game sucks. But it doesn't have to.
Now that my intro is done, I can finally get to the damn recipe. Here's a list of stuff you need to fix and why. And a reasonable suggestion for each:
1. Most important. Tempering system smells like Rax's hoodie after a 48hr stream. Bricking 3GA items via the tempering system feels bad. It feels bad and it's arbitrarily implemented at 5 rerolls and with no protection system and no way to recharge the craft.
Suggestion: Do much much better. Do one or multiple of the following: Get rid of the limit all together (consistent with all your other systems), If need be, make it progressively more expensive after x number of rerolls. Certainly add in keeping and protecting a previous roll until replaced. If there must be a limit, please put in a recharge system with these prisms that you're now making world bosses spurt out more consistently. Additionally, put in progressive +10% targeted bad luck protection toward the affix you actually want.
2. Tempering QoL a smaller but related topic. The skip animation button on tempering should be able to be toggled on/off and shouldn't require interaction every cast. I feel like Pearl Abyss' Black Spirit is mocking me with that slow gem polish animation every time I slam these tempers on. And allow the reroll temper to remember your previous selection and with a more explicit UI. Current system yeets you out of the selection every time. Feels bad man.
3. Uber bosses are inefficient to spam. Every time I have to hit leave dungeon and run back in, I feel a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly forced into tedious gameplay loop.
Suggestion: FFS Please just let us summon bosses at the altars without having to reset the dungeon.
4. NM dungeons need lovin' too. 1. Starting a new NM dungeon while inside one (as one is want to do) currently ports you outside at the door of the old dungeon? lol. 2. The in-dungeon door opening mini objectives that force doubling back through empty rooms make me want to slam my head into my stack of empty pizza boxes.
Suggestion 1: Please let us be teleported directly to new NM dungeons when accepting the prompt for the new one. Or leave us in old NM and give us a port to new dungeon button that we can accept whenever we want, like an adult. This would cut out a load screen and not force us to (sometimes) find the NM on the map in order to head there.
Suggestion 2: Rework the in-dungeon progress door opening objectives so that the objective is accomplished on the way to the next room. Doubling back through empty content feels.. empty. What a concept.
5. Pit. 3 major things. 1. Only the person who opens pit get the full reward, wtf? Can't believe that problem even exists tbh. 2. A few of the bosses need serious balance rework. Namely Sharpshooter. 3. Pit has no leaderboard but gauntlet does? lmao
Suggestions. 1. Reward same materials at the end for all who participated. Big yikes.
Suggestion 2. Balance those bosses. Feels like Tyson vs Paul in some of these fights.
Suggestion 3. Pit is the one mode in the game that requires deep thought about build true potential. This is the mode that needs the leaderboard. The leaderboard should show all aspects of the build as well. No one cares how fast a sorc can run through gauntlet but then does the lowest dps in the game. People want to examine your pits ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
6. Horse default movement speed feels like a bad dream where you're late for the game development meeting and you're running there but can barely move so you missed all the notes on how to make a good game.
Suggestion: Make the current max sprinting speed the default speed so that it feels better than walking on foot. Get rid of dismount from attacks. Keep the looting while mounted. Allow us to stay mounted while talking with npcs. Get rid of cooldown to remount when your horse is too dumb to jump over grapple targets.
7. Optimization: Lag spikes constantly, sometimes crashing the game. Crashed? Swapped Characters? Logged for a moment? All your consumable (which are way too expensive) buffs are now gone. It still lags and often crashes the game while moving through zones on horse. Z-axis like hills and slopes often cause rubberbanding and framerate issues especially on horse as well.
Suggestion: Unify the consumable duration to 30 min each. Lower material cost of craft slightly. Legion is great for materials but cost to craft is still significantly too high. Allow consumables to persist through crashes, logging out, flipping characters etc. As for lag and frame rate, have you tried turning it off and back on again? Idk on that one, man. Small indi company so you get a pass on that one.
8. Stash space so smol, so smol. You did away with us hoarding gear for the aspects and created a system where we brick items and can't reroll the temperings for different builds. So now we are hoarding gear to trade and to brick craft spam on. Hoarding has gotten worse, not better just different with the current system.
Suggestion: This is a looter bruh. Either give us progressively more expensive stash tabs (and lots of them) or make the tabs like 10 times bigger. Or both.
Suggestion: NM dungeon keys, Organs, elixirs, incense, still all share the same tiny inventory. Need Fewer elixirs, significantly bigger stack sizes, and fewer summoning items. Or, again, simply a bigger inventory. There are purists that will love their tiny smol exotic inventory size and brag that it is the motion in the ocean not the size that matters. But, they would be wrong. Size matters. I guess 'till then, we better work on that mouth game.
9. Cosmetic system. So much of the baseline looks are frumpy, filled with tassels and gilded crap, the shop is too expensive and sunsetting items availability doesn't motivate a swipe. It just feels mildly lame. There is some bottom-line motivated corporate analy$t pushing for urgency to $wipe. Meanwhile the casual user can't even see the catalogue of options.
Suggestion: Look, I'll swipe. I will. But make all the items available at once. Maybe cycle the discounts or something. Put in more realism, minimalism, slut mog, darker colors, pieces that blend well with other sets, sleek gothic and badass gore. There are players that don't want their look to be campy, corporate, kitsch and garish. Please consider putting in more and more baseline items earnable via achievements. Please let us have way more control over the color palate.
There is so much more I could say, but I can see this is becoming a wall of text and most people here stopped reading after my tempering snark. There's only so much I can raw-dawg generator-build punch that copier machine into the grass, so I'll rest my case.
TLDR: Game is still meh. Doesn't have to be. My ideas would be a drop in the bucket and a nudge in what I believe to be the right direction. We also need more input from you, gentle reader.

• PLM - Physical therapy (free tuition) • CEU - Medtech (scholar 80% tuition discount)
I passed the PLMAT and kung sakali, PT ako ron. My parents are so happy nung malaman nila, walang-wala rin kasi kami kaya they are relieved knowing na wala nang babayaran for college. But the thing is, all my life akala ko medtech ang itetake ko, my mom is a medtech and alam ko na goods na goods 'tong course na 'to if idederetso ko sa med. Alam kong both of these courses have their own pros and cons, pero sa na observe at nababasa ko, medyo challenging sa mga PT na makapasok sa public univ for med proper, because mahirap ding ma ace ang NMAT knowing na walang chemistry and minimal bio lang sa PT course.
On the other side, cinoconsider ko rin 'yung opportunities kung sakaling hindi ko matuloy sa medicine. Medyo marami ng medtech ngayon and sobrang kinakawawa sila sa sahod, kitang-kita rin naman sa experience ng mom ko. Sa PT, hindi pa sila ganoon karami dito sa pinas, and in demand din sa ibang bansa. Salary wise, aling profession po ang mas mataas? And alin ang mas in-demand sa ibang bansa?
Also, I'm not so fond of patient interactions po and i prefer to stay sa lab with minimal interaction lang. Pero i think kakayanin ko namang mahalin, also, l love studying chem so much as much as I love studying anatomy naman. Please pa help po, in our situation kasi talagang need naming maging PRAKTIKAL, I can work on things na hindi ako magaling or I can learn to love them naman. Gusto ko lang na kung sakaling hindi ko maabot ang dream ko to be a doctor, dun sana ako mapunta sa profession na kahit papaano ay fair and kaya kong bumuhay at magkaroon ng stable and rewarding life. Kung sakaling mag PT ako sa PLM, baka naman kayang pag ipunan ang med school kaso hindi rin naman natin sure talaga ang future, ik medyo nega pero sa totoo lang tayo haha. Im getting super anxious na pls help!!
