2024.05.20 08:10 24mc-xyz Tips for shooting in a warehouse/costco style environment

I'm an experienced shooter, but haven't done much in this area and about to start a multi-location low-ish budget shoot in a warehouse environment.
Some shots will be in the literal warehouse area, and some shots will be in the customer-facing area similar to a costco but for wholesale customers.
People that have shot a lot in this area, what would be your top tips and things to look out for in these environments, not so much logistically, but more how to best shoot them?
We only have a small lighting kit, but are doing scripted shots, not run and gun B-roll, but we are on a pretty tight timeline so will still need to be agile.
We aren't going to be able to fight the internal lighting in these places, so how do we get these shots looking good? We are planning to have a decent key light on the talent for each shot, but also a bit of hard edge lighting to add a bit of dimension to the flat lighting in these places.
I've done a few shoots of quick B-roll in these locations (with and without lighting), but kinda struggled to get the shots to look interesting.
Any interesting angles or ideas?
We might be able to do some drone and gimbal shots if we have time, but the majority will be shot at 25fps on an EasyRig as it's the style we agreed to go for.
Cheers đź‘Ź

2024.05.20 05:57 keyroze No more left when flashing

I think it's about time to get rid of the left hand turn on a flashing yellow light. Drivers out here are far too willing to take unnecessary risks when their view of oncoming traffic is blocked. To add to this, several times I've been sitting at a flashing yellow waiting to turn because my view of oncoming traffic is blocked by a big rig or a delivery van or something like that and the car behind me (almost always a lifted truck) starts honking at me to try get me to go. I'm not going to go if I can't see, but I know others will be pressured to go and potentially get into a wreck, and potentially a fatal one if they pull out in front of a motorcycle.

2024.05.20 04:32 sadess123 Car accident while pregnant

Car accident while pregnant (needed advice) Hi everyone I am 35 weeks pregnant. Two days ago, I was in a car accident while driving on the freeway with my 3 year old. I was driving traffic limit in my lane then suddenly a big rig decided to merge into my lane. I breaked hard to slow down and about 10-15 seconds later a car rear ends me, popped my back tire and car is stuck in sos mode. He gets out of his car and pushes it to the side then comes to me to tell me to bring my 3 year old to the side while I was stuck in the car because of my seat belt (thank god that saved me). Another car stops to help me and tells me not to get out until paramedics arrive. Ambulance takes me to the hospital and initially I supposed to be on watch for 6 hours then they decided to do 24 hours with baby monitor on because of the accident. At that time I only had whiplash on my neck like it was burning. They told me I can take tylenol for any pain but at that time I guess my body was still in shock I didnt feel pain. After discharge, Im having back pain. (Yes, i went to the ED most they can do is give tylenol, no xray because of pregnancy) Anyone have any advice or been in similar situation? Fyi: im not looking for any medical advice . Ive talked to the nurse afterwards and they said they already cleared the baby. There is a police report made on scene, im waiting for that. Is there any other steps I can take to ensure I get full compensation

2024.05.20 04:31 oddnded 27 [M4R] NC/Online - Need someone to remind you to drink water? Reply quick? Send trash memes? I got you, no worries :3

TL;DR: Just some tired, annoying, mentally ill, gamer dude trying to find a half decent connection. I'm not out to try and impress anyone, and never will be lol. Low effort introductions will be ignored, sorry! If you have a disdain for games, movies, banter, cars, or humor as a whole just pass me up. Also, if you're keen on one sided conversations or short term too
I'm attempting to find new friends or a relationship, if it happens. The people I have spoke to over the last several years of my life either became too busy or entirely different people. So, it's slowly just dwindled to null, meaning you'd get a fair bit of attention lmao. I miss having someone to talk and complain to everyday about whatever + that seemingly care, y'know? At this point I'd take having people to small talk with lmao
I will say it would probably be ideal if you could relate to the older online era. I mean, within the realm of peak CoD lobbies, Habbo, and similar. Idk, it seemed like back then people were more fun. Lol I've found they're usually less sensitive too
Honestly, I could care less if it's SFW, NSFW, or a mix when it comes to conversations. I'm relatively open minded in general, and don't take to getting offended easily either. The only things I ask are for you to be somewhat close to my age (20+), honest, and relatively blunt. I mean, bonus if you can relate to the tired feeling. Well, that or if you can tolerate it at the very least. I don't want to list an absurd amount about myself, because I feel that ruins actual back and forth to a degree, personally
About You: • Non-sensitive and can handle banter, jokes, and memes while also returning
• Somewhat available and able to reply in a decent amount of time / has some degree of conversational skill
• Has an ability to express interest or converse about hobbies that aren't your own (on average used to people just passing by half of what I say)
• You can be equally boring as myself or worse tbh, as long as there's back and forth. If you're some mass extrovert then I can live vicariously through you in contrast lmao
• It would be cool if you enjoyed sharing music. I'm always looking for new stuff for my playlist
• You enjoy movies
I will say none of these are requirements. They're extremely preferred though tbh
About Me: • I'm currently twenty-seven, and feel awful. Regardless, quarter life crisis is still persisting lol
• I have relatively awful internet. So, games take forever to update, think a day or two depending. Also, at some point I want a sim rig (not an over the top money pit one lmao)
• Tends to enjoy most forms of comedy, wether dark / offensive / dry etc + I agree with the stance of jokes being jokes
• Meme Archivarius and Aficionado
• I've officially been learning Norwegian for over a year now. Overall I just enjoy the idea of being bilingual in some capacity. Just a little bit each day, not in a rush lol
• Cold weather / temps wins over hot weather / temps every single time
• I have an absurd amount of hobbies; but, obviously frequent some more than others. So, the likelihood we at least share one in common is very high
• May as wells be a bottle of mental health issues, namely severe depression and general anxiety. So, if you struggle with mental health it's no issue. Honestly, would probably be nice if you can either relate or understand
• Sleeping is a struggle + my general sleep schedule is subpar
• Believes Elon Musk will end up creating catgirls, sooner or later
• Replies as quick as I nut
So, aside from all of that, feel free to ask me anything you'd like to know about me. I'm a relatively open book. If you actually read all of this then I apologize, homie. Hopefully this finds you well, my dudes. Feel free to send me a chat (´• `")ゝ

2024.05.20 03:44 Intelligent-Pause510 Suggestion for moderate compromise paths similar to the federalists - LKMT agreement for both the CSA and AUS with the PSA

The American civil war as it current stands is both iconic and also probably one of the least plausible parts of the mod. One of the things especially grating though is how the Pacific States of America - the faction trying to preserve the constitution - can immediately end up at war with either the CSA or AUS even if the leaders of said faction were democratically elected. I understand the reasoning why both sides would not trust each other, but I also feel like them immediately going to war with the rightful president would ruin a lot of their legitimacy. Note that this only applies if MacArthur coups either Huey Long or Jack Reed, since him overthrowing a republican or democrat or olson results in the VP fleeing to the PSA to take up arms.

I absolutely loved the idea of the Federalist LKMT compromise path and how it was implemented, and I have been thinking for the last two weeks about how something similar could happen for the warring American factions.
My idea would be that during the 30 day countdown, a non aggression pact between the elected president - Huey or Reed - and the PSA could be established, with both parties deciding that stopping MacArthur is the bigger threat. Unlike the federalist KMT compromise though, neither side would allow military access or become subjects of the other. This ceasefire would last until late 1937, at which point relations would break down completely and both sides would start fighting each other, seeing each other as nothing more than a bunch of radicals. I think November 25th which was thanksgiving day in 1937 could be a good date, for when a meeting between the two sides goes poorly and convinces them that armed conflict is inevitable. If the conflict ends before then however, the path to compromise becomes available.
To summarize, in order for the compromise to happen the following must occur:
  1. The Garner - Wagner bill must pass with the support of the CSA / AUS (depending on which one you want the compromise with) This success legitimizes the Socialist Party of America or America First Party as a legitimate party that has some real legislative success instead of a bunch of radicals that want to burn everything down.
  2. The coalition ticket must not form. Any election where a radical party gets elected by the house after a successful Garner - Wagner bill and a successful coalition is likely to be viewed as "rigged" and would not give the new president enough legitimacy in the eyes of the PSA moderates.
  3. The Socialist Party / America First must win the presidency.
  4. When the civil war starts after MacArthur coups the president, the CSA / AUS must agree to a non-aggression pact with the PSA.
  5. The CSA / AUS must defeat the other factions not counting New England before the ceasefire breaks down.

If all this happens, then an event will fire for the victor about relations with the PSA, which would start an event chain where a conference is held in Denver. There the conference will either fail, leading to hostilities breaking out and leading to the current paths, or it will succeed resulting in the PSA being annexed into the other tag, and unlocking a new compromise path while also locking the other normal paths. The country would be renamed back to the United States and the capital would move back to DC. The constitution and elections would remain, however with new amendments specific to each sides faction. Jack reed would continue as president but would not run for reelection, while Huey would probably try to win another term.

But what would these paths look like? Here's some ideas I had for them. First the CSA!
The CSA compromise path wouldn't abolish capitalism, however it would absolutely focus a ton on worker's rights, greatly strengthening unions, and having the government take control of all natural resources and railways. In terms of social policies I would imagine civil rights and the destruction of segregation would be a top concern. I think that realistically it would also pass legislation that would strip voting rights from anyone who was a member of the America First Party as well as many right wing to far right figures in general in order to make sure that the changes they are making do not get reverted.
Since they would be keeping the classic American government, future elections would once again be dominated by two parties: the Socialist - Farmer Labor party, which would be left wing social democratic alliance with a large syndicalist faction, and on the other side the Social Liberal Democratic party which would have a large market liberal ex republican faction.
Now this path's foreign policy would be a bit different than normal. This path would not allow it to join either the 3rd Internationale or the Entente, and would instead focus on the Americas, implementing a version of the good neighbor policy. This would eventually lead it to creating the Organization of American States, a faction for democratic AND syndicalist (but not totalist) nations in the Americas focused on self defense. The US would also get the ability to go to war with any country in the Americas that was either Authoritarian Democratic, Paternal Autocratic, or National populist.
It would all lead up to demanding the decolonization of the Americas during the 2nd Weltkreig, which could result in going to war with BOTH the Entente and the Reichpakt to stomp out colonialism in the region once and for all. A scripted peace deal would allow the end of hostilities once the factions have been pushed out. Additionally once this is done, assuming the 2nd weltkreig is still going on, you could have the option to go to war with any totalist countries in the Americas, with the 3rd Internationale getting the option to kick them out of their alliance. (Likely if France and Britain are Syndicalist or Radical socialist, Much less likely if they are also Totalist).

Now as for the AUS, I haven't thought about them as much but I still have some ideas.

Huey Long's path in this would end up being similar to how he acted while governor. It would focus on implementing his share the wealth programs, funding infrastructure, combating poverty, and most importantly centralizing the power around the presidency. In this path Huey would seek to stack the supreme court with justices who would vote for his policy and would seek to disenfranchise people who would oppose him. Restricting the vote would be very likely, as well as technically legal things like extensive gerrymandering. Freedom of the press would be curtailed under the guise of national security and he would implement a state media similar to ones in modern-day Turkey or Russia.
Elections would still be held in 1940, 1944, and 1948 with Huey running for a second, third, and 4th term. If Huey manages to win all of those elections, the 1952 election will only have his party as an option and the US would turn into a dominant party state similar to Mexico during the PRI era, If Huey has not won all of his terms then the 1952 election will see Huey step down and let someone else run for the America First Party. All versions of the America First Party will be Authoritarian Democrat.
Opposing him in the elections will be the republican party, the socialist party having been outlawed and the Democratic party collapsing from lots of FBI and congressional "investigations", their conservative members going to either the republicans or America first party. The republican party will be Market Liberal with a Social Conservative wing.
Foreign Policy wise this path would have two options: Supreme isolationism or Anti-Syndicalism.
Supreme Isolationism would be similar to the Fortress America path that the feds have currently. It would not join a faction or get any war goals, and would uniquely have an option to renounce ownership of Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and the Panama Canal in order to "bring the boys home". It would fortify the Mexican border heavily and would also unlock a decision to "secure" Canada if all other entente majors are dead or the Third Internationale has landed in mainland Canada, giving the US claims and a wargoal on Canada.
Anti-Syndicalism would give the US access to decisions to join either the Reichpakt, Moscow Accord, or Entente as long as those countries are at war with the Third Internationale. This alliance would only last until the Third Internationale is destroyed however and the US will leave the faction afterwards. After the 3I is defeated, the US can get decisions to go to war with any remaining syndicalist, radical socialist, or totalist nations in the Americas.

Anyways, those were my thoughts, I think having more hidden compromise paths is always fun and I would love to hear your feedback!

2024.05.20 03:15 edgiscript [FF4M] Mafia Dog - Part 7 of 7 [Newly Married] [Wedding Reception Toast] [Wedding Gift] [Key To Old Chains]

Note: Questions about monetization? Check here: An Introduction To The Book That Is Me :
Note: Questions about what else I've done? Check here: Masterlist for edgiscript :
Part 6: [F4M] Mafia Dog - Part 6 of 7 [Confronting Your Yandere] [Sneaking Into The Mission] [Supporting Mom] :
Note: Just realized yesterday that the tags on every chapter should be [FF4M] instead of [F4M] which some are. Sorry about that.
Note to those of you who have been reading and enjoying this series: Thank you. I hope the finale meets your expectations. I said before that this was a post-horror-yandere story. If anyone feels like writing a backstory with Francine and Puppy before he was Puppy, go right ahead. I don't do horror.
Note for future stuff: At present (5/19/24) I'm adding nearly my entire library to Reddit 1 piece at a time with some exceptions. Most notably, Crazy Cat is doing a masterful job with Mayna in "Amazon's Surprise" and she's only posted parts 1-3 so far. I will only release parts 4-7 as she does them. 3 VAs have currently done the 1st part of "The Captive Yandere" and at least 2 are considering whether or not to do more, so I'm holding of on releasing parts 2-6. And Xarty was incredibly endearing as Kaylix in "The Weakest Orc - A Love Story" part 1. I'm holding off releasing parts 2-7 until she does them or decides she won't do any more. But if there are VAs interested in performing those series, contact me and I'll send you the full scripts so you can decide if you want to do them before they're released publicly.
Now for Part 7. (Bet you didn't know this movie would come with trailers.) :)

Part 7

Carissa: (Sorrowfully.) Friends, family, loved ones, we have come today to mourn a beloved friend and colleague. We are going to miss his smile, his warmth, his courage, and his genuine love for each and every one of us, but most of all we’re going to miss the sound of his voice…
(With humor.) …because now that Puppy has married Jane, every one of us here knows that he’s never going to get a word in again.
(Sound of mild laughter of people at the party.)
Jane, you’ve been my courage, my fire, and my wisdom for so long now, I’ve forgotten what it was like without you here. Your spark has kept me going through many trying times. I’ve been able to count on your unwavering patience and your perseverance since the moment you joined our group. You have been by my side through thick and thin and you will be missed.
Puppy, in the nearly two years since we rescued you, you have been my heart and my conscience. I’m proud, very proud that you consider me as your mother, because I most definitely think of you as my son. You have also been by my side through thick and thin and you will also be missed.
Jane and Puppy, my left hand and my right, as you leave us to begin your own journey, at least temporarily, may God watch over you both, and may everyone you meet bring you as much joy as you have brought to all of us. Kent, Mike, Ronnie, and everyone present, please lift your glasses with me as we toast, to Puppy and Jane.
(Pause while they drink, then sounds of minor applause.)
Jane: (Hugs Carissa.) Thank you, mom. We’ll miss you guys.
(Brief pause, then playfully.) Puppy, you can hug Mom in a second. Let me get mine in.
Carissa: You see, Puppy. It’s started. There’s still time. Save yourself. Run.
Jane: (Laughs, then with mock irritation.) Carissa!
Carissa: Nope. I’m still Puppy’s Mom and I’ve got to do what’s best for him.
(Both laugh.)
Carissa: Seriously, you guys, be well. I know you want to show Puppy so many things that he missed growing up the way he did, but… well, just… be safe. Ok?
Jane: Oh, Mom, we’ll be fine. Stop worrying. Puppy’s going to love it.
Carissa: I know. I know. But… (Sighs.) I love both of you so much. Go have fun. See the world. Hurry. Run now before I hug you both and refuse to let go. We’ll be here when you get back.
Jane: We love you too, Mom. Thank you. You’ve been…
Carissa: (Interrupting.) No. Seriously. Go now. Go! Go, go, go, go, go!
Jane: (Laughs.) All right. We’re going. Come on, Puppy. You heard her.
(Runs off. Car door opens and closes. Car sounds as they drive away.)
Well, Puppy. How does it feel?
(Pause.)
To be married? You’re not just Puppy now. You’re MY Puppy.
(Pause.)
(Laughs/Giggles.) Yes, you’ve been my Puppy for a while, but now it’s official. Or legal, anyway.
(Pause.)
Nope. I don’t care. You’re mine. The wedding and the reception are over. I don’t have to share you with another soul for the rest of our lives. (Giggles.)
(Pause.)
Ok, we’ll see them again. I’m not taking you away for good. But you’ll still always be mine no matter what anybody else says about it. (Giggles.)
(Pause.)
Yes, it’s definitely nicer that we can be open about it. We’re so used to living in the shadows, you and me. Being out in public like a regular couple… that’s nice.
(Pause)
(Giggle.) Yes, there are definitely some things we’re not going to do out in the open. Speaking of which, there’s our stop.
(Pause)
Yep. That little house by the ocean. I rented it out just for us.
(Pause. Car comes to a stop and car door opens and closes.)
Nope. I already put all of our luggage in there before the wedding. Now, all that’s left to do is for you to carry me across the threshold. Unless, of course, you want me to carry you. We’re not exactly the most traditional couple after all and…
(Jane is interrupted by Puppy picking her up.)
(Squeals as she’s picked up and laughs. Kiss.) Oh, Puppy. Does this all feel as magical and as much like a fairy tale to you as it does to me? I can’t believe I get to call myself your wife. I love you, Puppy.
(Pause. Front door opens and closes.)
Oh no. You don’t get to set me down yet. Not until we’ve reached the bedroom. (Giggles.) I’ve got a surprise for you.
(Pause.)
(Laughs.) No, that’s not it. That’s no surprise, silly. You already knew I was going to give you that. (Giggles.) No, I’ve got something else for you.
(Pause while they reach the bedroom.)
Here we are. Now, lay me down and then lay down beside me.
(Pause.)
I love you so much, Puppy.
(Pause.)
I know you love me too. And I’m not just saying that because it’s the proper response. I want you to really, truly know that I know you love me. I meant everything I said in my wedding vows. My heart and my soul belong to you now. Ever since I’ve known you after we rescued you from that personal prison of Francine’s, you’ve been nothing but kind, considerate of others, laughing and loving everyone when you could have been broken and bitter. I love you for that, Puppy.
(Pause.)
(Giggles.) Ok, you’re kinda cute too. (Giggles.)
(Pause.)
(Note: From here on, there are no instructions on how to say the rest of this. Please let your own emotions decide how it should be done. Tender and sweet? Tearful? Joyful? You decide.)
Thank you, Puppy. I will always love to hear you say that. But I wanted you to know just how much I love you. I know you said that when you were trapped by Francine, and while she was… well, you know. She would constantly tell you how much she loved you and needed you, even while she was hurting you. She didn’t know love, Puppy. She only knew her own obsession and her lust. She took what she wanted from you without any consideration for you. When she said that she loved you, all she did was hurt you.
I know it’s why you don’t even want me to call you by your given name. It brings back memories of her and even the broken life you had before she took you. I gave you the name Puppy, and when I say “I love you,” I actually do love you. You’ve told me that you only want me to call you Puppy because that marks you as mine, and that’s what you want.
Here. Before I go on, open that drawer. Yes, that one right beside the bed. Open it.
(Drawer opens.)
Take the key that’s in there. That’s the key to your chains. I found that after we rescued you when we did a sweep of Francine’s old headquarters. I saved it… for you. It’s yours now. Nobody owns you. Nobody controls you. You’re free. You can keep it as a symbol that you control your own destiny now, or you can throw it into the ocean tomorrow morning. But you decide. Nobody else.
I know that the pain she caused you happened because all she wanted to do was take from you with no thought of your well-being. She didn’t care how much it hurt you as long as it satisfied her needs. So, Puppy, when I say “I love you,” I want you to know that I’m not taking from you. I’m giving to you. I’m giving you me, Puppy. I’m yours. I’m your wife. I’m your love. I’m your friend. I’m whatever you need me to be. Whatever you need from me, I’m here to provide it for you. I really, really love you. Ok?
(Kiss.)
You’re the most wonderful thing that’s ever happened to me. And I vow to you that I will never let you forget that for as long as we both shall live.
(Kisses.)
(Fade out.)

2024.05.20 03:09 sadess123 Car accident while pregnant (needed advice)

Hi everyone
I am 35 weeks pregnant.
Fyi: im not looking for any medical advice to be “cleared” , just anyone that has been in similar situation or wants to give free legal advice lol

2024.05.20 02:12 Slimey_Llama Sim Rig build help

Good Evening,
I have spent countless hours reading the already accessible threads discussing brand vs brand, and would like to get some more answers tailored towards my uses. Budget really isn’t an issue (within reason). As many I go balls to the wall and follow the “buy once cry once philosophy”. I am by no means some sort of alien who necessarily needs the equipment, it’s more so a want. My request is if you guys could provide some feedback/ suggestions on what gear is worth the price vs nit necessary. I’m looking to have a Simlab P1x Pro or another rig based on recommendations with a triple monitor setup. I mostly race road cars GT4/GT3 and hopefully LMP2 in the future.
Asetek Forte vs Simucube 2 pro?
As I said budget isn’t necessarily confines but if I could save costs for something that may not be needed I may as well. With Asetek taking some IP from simucube what are you thoughts on going with the tried and true vs the newcomer Asetek?
Huesinkveld Sprint vs Ultimates or any other recommended?
Are the ultimates that much more of an upgrade for just an enthusiast?
Wheel recommendations paired with the above based on decision?
I know this is a common topic but I would greatly appreciate any help that can be given.

2024.05.20 00:55 Mishtii_i My bone controlling animated image sequence driver ain't working and I am super pissed off!!

Hello Reddit blender help chat (I have absolutely no idea how to start this.)
So I been making this model and alas, time to rig it. I decided to start with the face. My process was to import a transparent png of the eyes (using images as planes) and make them an animated photo sequence, and yippeekayay it worked!! But it came to be that if I switched through the eyes, the current frame changed too. And because I want this model for animating, that was an issue.
I decided to follow a tutorial on how to use a bone and set it as a driver for offsetting the image sequence. I created a bone and linked it as a driver and it worked, but as soon as a changed absolutely anything in the script, even if I changed it back completely accurately, the driver stopped working and I'd have to create a new bone and the same thing would happen.
Does anyone know if there is something in specific screwing it up? I'm genuinely really pissed off as I have been trying to fix this issue for two days now.

2024.05.19 23:35 ThorstiBoi Heist rework suggestions

Ive heard quite a few times that heists on payday 3 don't have the same impact as previous games. I believe it's a problem of the "get out ASAP" game design and just some boring objectives. While I can't suggest anything for the former, the latter goes like this from me!
NRFTW
This heist being the first one excuses the more simplistic design and I agree with it. Only gripes I got are these
I find it a bit stupid that solo players are the only ones that can't defuse all packs without an ECM. I think that making non 4 player teams (1-3) either risk it or have a dedicated ECM carrier is more interesting. Maybe a voice line from Shade hinting that it's a feature too. It's completely hidden as it is now.
The push past everyone to the escape zone has more cops than the "locked down perimeter" a bit beyond it. Nuff said
Road Rage
This heist mostly suffers from being boring on repeat play thrus. The fix is complex to execute but simple as an idea.
Add a swat van driving into the path of the van, cops breaking a scaffold etc. The only time players gets caught out is in the very first playthrough, really boring.
Dirty Ice
This is one of the best heists in the game in terms of player choice and freedom. The only problem of the diamond cleaning being useless is also being fixed in the next update too. I honestly don't have any gripes. You stay for as long as you want and do it your own way.
Rock The Cradle
Honestly, this heist needs some sort of restructure. Or item placement changes.
Since the game launched people have been exploiting this to skip 50+% of the heist. It's a stupid oversight to stick to.
Yea real smart. But I'm not sure what to suggest with the locked RNG being in the game. New objective, diffrent way of them working, not sure ngl.
Under The Suprhaze
This heist overall is pretty cool but it can be a bit fatiguing on failed attempts. It's really long in some aspects (both stealth and loud) and if I need to replay it I just groan, seeing how much progress I lost.
Please there's 7 and each takes a small eternity to grab. I'm not wasting a skill to do that.
This is a first person shooter, parkour is not the games strongsuit. Mantling or jumping is a gamble, bouncing off of walls on jumps is common, it's not really fun to sweat over it. Maybe it's a skill isue
I honestly cannot play this stealth without a zipline asset. The secure point is a block away from the building, across a very populated park. Is this me being punished for "not planning it out"?
Just...why. You can litterally just not pick up the usb painting or pick it up last and circumvent the huge obstacle. Not a fan
Gold And Sharke
This heist for the most part is fine, just not as epic as I would have wanted it to be but that's subjective. Anywho-
The starting objective needs QR codes to get into manager rooms but it just feels like padding. Scavenging thru the intire bank for random phones to guess what's behind door number 3...or just use tricks/glitches/oversights to basically skip it. Just leave it as locked doors, no need for QRs.
I've had countless runs where I just get distracted for a minute and the drill breaks due to no oxygen. It's a simple QOL feature. Also Shade says the drill needs oxygen but waits for it to break before saying WHERE it is. Just spawn it when it's red at least.
99 Boxes
Hoo boy. The more I play this the less I want to do it again. This intire heist is just a really long holdout and kinda just needs a full remake imo, let's see if I can think of something. Where to begin...
Again, the game is not made for parkour. I lose more health breaking my legs than the cops. I'm not even sure I'm getting to some containers the way the devs intended lol.
Change them into a minigame or perhaps rerouting the signal of a recently arrived FBI van to get a location signal to spoof instead of damn circles. Maybe have players rotate the dish manually until a signal is caught and then grab the chip before the FBI interupts the hi-jack.
The whole objective is just nothing, grab a consistant spawn object, place it, NOW you can leave. It takes 10s at most. You could change it into players having to move cop cars Brooklyn 10-10 style into a blockade, dissable the cars (shoot tires, break engines etc) and THEN leave. That's way more interactive.
Touch The Sky
This heist is a cool premise but it felt like devs really ran out of steam on the objectives on here ngl. Even Shade knows with the safe in a vault comment.
This is getting tiresome. This could be maybe a rewire objective, follow wires from the console to trick it's current status (door locked or not). Heck, blow it open in loud or something, it's a wooden door with metal lining.
We're breaking into an office of a gun runner and its key is just in a random paper room? Cmon. It could be hidden in the bedroom, maybe even booby trapped so snoopers wouldn't get away with such a steal.
It's padding. Remove it
Add timed checks to like flick an accept Hoxton breakout style when the ssd asks for one, find a required hash in Masons notes for it etc. Its the last mission of this first chapter but the end goal is a simple hack. Spice it up
Turbid station
This heist is mostly good. Only real problem is the damn security room cart.
If you didn't know, if you kill the executive guy you get a secondary way to open the train cart. It's way safer and it opens the cart PWLERMENANTLY. Why is the """punishment"""" for not following the plan is an easier route???
This one I'm honestly not sure is the case but I THINK it's completely silent. It wasn't so in 2.
Cook off
This heist is another perfecto, no real problems other than some bugs that may or may not be patched. So only problem from me is this
The doors feel commically wide. Staircase feels commically wide. It's silly.
Syntax error
This one's a doozy. Some things done well, some not so.
In all loud lobbies I've done, everyone knows to stealth the first bit to get the code for the door due to it being faster. A bit silly ngl.
There are dozens of clips of players running for an hour, not finding the red keycard. The red shelves are not that obvious and are low on the floor. Hang em on the wall atleast!!
The techie so far has had two states. So stupidly OP that leaving her alive or running out to kill her is virtually the same in terms of resource drain. And how she is now, a mosquito with no real threat. Going out to kill her takes more resources than tanking it. The design is stupid with her hiding out. It's never worth hunting her during an assault. More so if you got drone hack skills.
If you kill cops in the park (as the objevtive says) you won't progress. You need to be in the field and kill park enemies. Bruh-
It's silly planning wise to buy thousands of dollars worth of explosive equipment to...cross the street. It's anti climatic imo
PHEW...Let me know your thoughts!

2024.05.19 21:35 galacticjuggernaut Any unique M2 perspectives reviews that aren't exact clones of each other?

I think i watched all i could so far. I guess my rant is that I am sure youtube creator incentives just reward viewer clicks and all that, but every single M2 G87 review is almost comically the same. I have been watching a lot of content and its like most are reading from a script. Either that or these folks have all heard the same crap from the first guys and then actually think it, so repeat it for their own content because they do not have a unique thought of their own.
Looks, steering is lifeless, shifter is rubbery, clutch engagement point, and weight etc....oh, BUT its a great car. Of course I am not making content myself so maybe i should STFU.

"Y'know why I love the internet? Because it's just like me." "Vulgar, combative, and contradictory?" "Overflowing with perversion and stupidity?" "Yes, and yes."
In 2013, Deadpool wanted a game, and gave a director at High Moon Studios his proposal written in the finest crayon he could muster. They accepted it (after being blown up following the initial rejection). As such, Deadpool finds himself trying to bring in the bounty on generic hateable villain Chance White, only for him to be rescued by the Marauders and killed by Mister Sinister. Driven by a desire for revenge (all while ignoring the X-Men and Cable's various attempts to get him to help save the world), Deadpool travels across Genosha in order to kill the supervillain.

2024.05.19 20:33 kolten27 Best cockpit combination

I’m looking to build a sim rig in the near future and I landed on fanatec as my wheel/drive combo. I am going to grab the CSL DD WRC bundle at the end of the month. I plan to mainly play on Xbox series s for now until I can upgrade my pc in the future.
My main question is what is your guys ideal cockpit for this bundle? I would like to stay below ~$400 for the cockpit as my total budget is around $1000.
I will have the set up in my living room and connect to my tv so easy mobility would be a plus, but not required, as I’m not always going to have it connected. I also would prefer a more realistic seat rather than a thin cloth one like I’ve seen. I would even consider stretching the budget a bit if I were able to get a cockpit that could fit a real car seat which ideally I would put an e36 M3 seat on.
Any tips or help is appreciated as I am very new to the sim community and this would be my first set up!
