2024.05.19 04:29 Blanshee Nuclear Power Plant Operator/Auxiliary Operator

Hello Everyone, new to this sub here. I’ve been researching the path to a Nuclear Career and I’m looking for some advice. I’m looking to get into a nuclear plant as an entry level operator. I did not finish college, I know that some companies want the 2 year AAS Power Plant Tech Degree, some sort of certificate, regular degree/nuke school. But I have also read it’s possible to get in without those things as long as you can pass the POSS tests. I’m thinking about sending my resume out to multiple companies just to give it a shot. I’m willing to move practically anywhere in the US as well. I currently work for the IBEW Union in Southern California. I do have some experience with water pumps, gauges, chemicals, boiler from a previous job, but that’s about it besides for my electrical certs with the Union. I’m open to going back to school to get the AAS but if I could get in without spending that money it would be cool. I also found a Nuclear Power Plant Operations 1 year class where you get a certificate but not a degree from Cal State Fullerton. Any advice or leads would be great, thanks take care

2024.05.18 23:16 Tzetsefly Claude Sonnet and Bing copilot equally bad at algorithms.

I have the unenviable task of having to maintain and extend some legacy code in ( wait for it) Pascal. I can only do this part time so I don't spend enough time to call myself a programmer. I do engineering ( the kind with real things like machines and electricity) and we use these programs to interface with our machinery products.
So far only used AI for quick syntax searches and basic boiler plate help. The bulk of my coding time is resolving algorithms to make sure machines don't crash or don't waste material or give operators clear instructions. I could spend 4hours working though code to do one word switch out, or to change > to >=.
So, contemplating whether I should throw a bit of money at one or more of the AI models , I did a short test to see what I could achieve.
I wrote out a nice long and detailed prompt describing a rectangular stock of material which was dispersed with rectangular blocks in orthogonal alignment and asked it to help me find an algorithms that would identify potential orthogonal remnants of maximum size from the stock and list them. (i.e. rectangular shapes that would not be occupied by the original rectangular blocks, or part thereof.
I used Sonnet from Poe and Copilot from Bing. The results from Claude Sonnet were interesting but the longer we struggled the further we deviated from the solution, The code was complete though and and contained some interesting structures using classes and tree structures with pointers.
Copilot was lazy and left sections undone for me to complete. but proposed better solutions overall.but still missed some major faults which it would not let go of. In any case, not a solution you could use in practice. It had better breakdown of the problem. Tried to do everything with arrays though
From both experiences, the pascal code was good, Claude tied in better with the classes that I was doing. From both, the code i got served no better than basic boiler plate code, So nah, I'l be keeping my money until I get a more advanced solution. Recommendations welcome.. I certainly learned a lot more about pascal though, They don't have trouble there in that language it seems.
I can understand why people suggest using both and using them together,

2024.05.18 21:11 _vekoma_ I think my ex partner is in MLC - any thoughts/advice/help please?

Hi guys, would really appreciate some insight/advice/support please. I will say my partner and I weren’t married but were cohabiting in a long term relationship with marriage plans.
Was dumped out of the blue last autumn after four years with the man who told all my friends and family he was going to propose to me and we were in the middle of buying property (although we lived together in a rented apartment) and was about to start a family - he brought up conversations about what names to choose.
We were so happy, never argued and had an amazing relationship (or so I thought)……he left me saying something was ‘missing’ he felt pressured for marriage (despite HIM being the one bringing all the future plans up) and then bizarrely said he wanted to find a wife and a mother?? The man I adored turned into a stranger overnight and I still to this day have no idea why or how this happened? The only big red flag with him is he had never had proper long term relationships before me so maybe that’s where the ‘missing’ bit stems from. This all happened during a life period where he was extremely stressed with his job, was constantly saying he wanted to give up his medical career (he is a surgeon) and we both had poorly parents.
He’s never reached out, blocked my phone and completely blanks me at work.
I always (stupidly) thought he might reflect on what he’s thrown away and open up to talking.
Found out my replacement is someone 17 years younger than my ex (he’s 45, she’s 28). What the hell?! Please can I get peoples thoughts on this? He’s practically moved her into the apartment and apparently it’s all sunshine and rainbows for him. This girl has apparently told her friends she ‘wouldn’t date him as he was far too old but he’s rich and she likes being wined and dined by rich men. Shes apparently the town bicycle and as one person described her ‘a psycho bunny boiler’ and is apparently plastering photos of their dates to fancy restaurants all over social media - I obviously don’t follow her and haven’t seen these, nor do I want to. Bizarrely it seems he’s been taking her to all the exact places we did.
Even more strangely, apparently she keeps flipping her profile from Private to public with all these photos - it might be me being paranoid but it sounds like she almost wants me to see them?
I really thought at some point we would be able to work this out and he had just had a huge ‘future freak out’. I’m terrified this ‘girl’ is going to get her claws in and do all the things we had planned and I’m going to have to see it all play out in front of me. I don’t know what to do to remedy any of this or whether he will ever even consider coming back? I really believe in our relationship and have been exploring some of the MLC techniques and advice to firstly, make myself feel better and secondly to look at implementing things I can do to potentially help the situation.
The work interactions are interesting and I’m not really sure how to navigate them going forward. He was initially cordially saying hello but recently has been diving into the nearest doorway or swiftly exiting a room if he sees me there. It’s cowardly but also strikes me that he clearly isn’t yet ‘indifferent’
How to proceed?

2024.05.18 19:52 ren_n_ram Where to throw parties/raves?

Hi!! My friends and I wanted to explore the party scene of Houston, and we've seen quite a few niche underground party groups that throw raves for $5-$10 tickets every month or so, and we wanted to give it a hand and try to throw one as well. We wanted to go for like a Boiler Room vibe, but we're having trouble figuring out creative ways to throw a party without just reserving like a regular venue that people use for celebrations and such. My friend suggested the Glassell Art School because of the rooftop view, but that seemed idealistic and impractical to me😭. Then we thought of warehouses, but we don't even know if that's a thing here. Then the James Turrell Skyspace, but that is a free public display and we weren't sure about the practicalities of that either. And then we realized we really don't know Houston like that and need to find more cool spots that could work😭. So what are some great spots to throw parties at in Houston that are not necessarily bars and such?

2024.05.18 17:34 Ok_Functional_ ABYG for being bossy and shouted

So we have a project, as a class gagawin. Im not the leader sa project. So here’s the story, one day mag pra-practice sana kami, 9am yung call time, so I I arrived at the venue 20mins before 9am, So then the waiting game begins. Project heads and Committee heads arrived at exactly 10:20am. So imagine 5 of us members had to wait for them for 1hr and 20mins. While waiting nag tatanong na ako sa GC namin if what time sila dadating and told them “they’re wasting our time”. They replied with their excuses such as “traffic” “walang masasakyan”. When they arrived I was pressuring them na gumawa na sa gawain and I was being bossy because I was so pissed sa kanila for being late and wala pa silang ginawa when they arrived. We then got into a heated argument, one of them shouted I should calm down and I shouted back na they wasted my time. Ehh how can I calm down that time, sino ba kakalma if pinaghintay ng 1 hour and 20mins. ABYG for doing that?

2024.05.18 16:52 CookieFactory Breville Oracle Touch Ownership Experience and Question for the Community

I purchased our original Breville Oracle Touch in March of 2021 from Williams-Sonoma. By May of 2022 the grinder failed and after some minimal back and forth with Breville support, they replaced it under warranty. Outside the grinder failing, the unit produces excellent espresso to the point where we prefer a latte made at home to just about any specialty coffee shop.
Last month the unit started acting up again where the brew boiler would not come up to temp, stalling around 160 degrees F. From my research online, it appears this is a recurring issue where air gets trapped within the unit during an aborted descale cycle (allegedly). I again sent the unit back to Breville, this time prepared to pay a repair fee since the unit was well out of warranty.
Breville customer service informed me that their techs were unable to repair the unit and could only offer me a 30% discount off a new retail purchase. I (firmly but politely) expressed my disappointment in this outcome stating I had paid $2700 just a few years ago and now had to pay another $2000 with no guarantee I wouldn't be back in this exact same situation a couple of years down the line. That they could not repair a product they manufacture was not at all confidence inspiring.
To my surprise, Breville came back stating my unit was (somehow) under warranty and they offered to send me a replacement free of charge. I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth so I quickly agreed and just yesterday received the new unit. Reading various reviews online a common theme is how "horrible" and "unresponsive" Breville customer support can be, but my experiences have been the exact opposite. They do take a few days to respond so I suspect people with poor experiences are likely 1) engaging with a confrontational attitude, and 2) are impatient, such that when they don't receive a reply within a day will fire off more emails ("hello, any response???"). While it's understandable to be upset that your ~$3000 product failed, getting high and self-righteous with customer service is overwhelmingly counterproductive. Customer service reps are people (let's not forget) and even if they don't have decision making power if they want to help you they'll escalate on your behalf.
Anyway, the replacement unit has noticeable differences from the one we originally bought and its replacement. The initial heating is now completely silent whereas our previous two units had a buzzing as part of normal operation. The rest of the changes are mostly cosmetic, the "empty me" indicator in the drain is now red instead of yellow, and the included knock box is black instead of silver (SS). The entire unit seems a bit slimmer but that's likely just perception.
The lack of buzzing during the heat cycle tells me Breville has been tinkering with the internals over the past couple of years, hopefully to shore up common failure points.
Now to my question - a lingering point of contention is that Breville customer support explicitly recommends against using highly filtered or RO water and to descale regularly (monthly). The generally accepted practice among the internet community seems to be the complete opposite - use demineralized water and NEVER descale due to the chances something goes wrong / gets interrupted. If you own the Oracle Touch and have any insight on this, please share your wisdom.

2024.05.17 06:26 Inner_Lengthiness697 What are Boilerplates?

What are Boilerplates?

Boilerplate originally referred to the rolled steel used to make boilers for steam engines in the 19th century.
Over time, the term evolved to describe any standardized piece of text or code that can be reused without significant changes.
Interest in SaaS has been on the rise, and many more people now want to build products. However, building products from scratch takes a lot of time, and it can be extremely frustrating.

Enter SaaS Boilerplates

With the standardization of stacks and basic systems that govern SaaS tools, it has become evident that there was a need, and the time was ripe for SaaS Boilerplates.
SaaS Boilerplates come with landing pages, website components, authentication modules, payment modules, and various other standard features that can save developers a significant amount of time and cost.
The market is flooded with Boilerplates for various tech stacks, such as NextJS, Laravel, Swift, NuxtJS, and so forth.

Pros and Cons of Boilerplates

Pros
Most importantly, Boilerplates also enable aspiring founders and builders with limited technical resources or abilities to ship their products faster and more cheaply.
They are beacons of hope for non-technical founders looking to build a product quickly.
Cons

Marc Lou’s Shipfast

For most of us, Marc Lou popularized the idea of SaaS Boilerplate.
Marc Lou launched Shipfast in August 2023. He had built 27 projects prior to this and Shipfast was nothing but all his basic code organised properly.
At that time, there were no solid NextJS boilerplates, and Shipfast just took off. He got traction via Product Hunt, Twitter and Hacker News and soon Shipfast went viral.
Shipfast now generates $130K/mo, just 9 months after its launch.
Marc has been building Shipfast in public, which has led to a lot of interest in SaaS Boilerplates. The market is now flooded with boilerplates for every major tech stack.
Marc reaped the benefits of the first mover’s advantage as well as the social proof via his Shipfast community.
I don’t think any other boilerplates are as successful as Shipfast, but there are quite a few good ones out there.
Moreover, there are many open-source boilerplates available for popular stacks such as NextJS.

The Evolution of Boilerplates

Boilerplates are quickly turning into no-code/low-code code generation tools.
For instance, Shipixen allows you to generate custom code for landing pages, waitlist pages and blogs using a simple User Interface.
Boilerplates are perfectly posied to sit between code and no-code. Allow the flexibility of code with the interface of a no-code tool — that will be the core value proposition of SaaS boilerplates.

Should you build a Boilerplate?

Well, the market is flooded, but I believe there’s still an opportunity to leverage boilerplates.
Known strategies for successfully building a boilerplate 👇🏻

Design & No-Code Boilerplates

Here is the corrected version with improved grammar and clarity:
While SaaS (code) boilerplates have become fairly popular, other types of boilerplates are emerging in the market, such as design boilerplates and no-code boilerplates.
To be honest, design boilerplates have been around for a while. You will find numerous landing page packs, component libraries, and so forth.
Makers are now building kits that leverage standard libraries and technologies such as Tailwind CSS, Daisy UI, and more.
Nick Buzz from the famous baked.design has this 50 Landing Page Design Kit in Tailwind CSS & Figma which is wildly popular.
Lastly, there is a trend of no-code boilerplates as well. Mohit is building a Bubble Boilerplate for the popular no-code platform — Bubble.
All in all, I think that people want to build products and build them fast. Boilerplates help them save a significant amount of time and cost. More importantly, boilerplates are impulse purchases for people who have not shipped but who want to ship.

Introducing BuilderKit.ai

We have been building AI SaaS tools for quite a while now. 10+ products across text, image, speech, RAG — we have built em all.
We figured that it seems easy but actually building these so called AI Wrappers can be time consuming and frustrating — there is a lot of nuance to it.
So we built BuidlerKit.ai — a NextJS SaaS Boilerpalte
It takes care of everything from landing pages, authentication, dashboarding, emails, SEO to payments — everything that you need to build your tool.
It also comes with 8+ production-ready apps.
Moreover, the BuilderKit community is an exclusive community of AI SaaS builders (Pro Only Access)
The Pre Orders are now live at https://www.builderkit.ai
(First 100 Customers get $100 Off — I think we have already done ~20 odd orders since the announcement yesterday, Grab your seat asap!)

When I came to, I just laid still. I wasn’t sure what had happened though what was certain was that I was both still alive and still in this dingy box of a room. The predators were you of sight in one of my few blindspots. Jinsul and Dornucl were still alive, with Dornucl understandably agitated and Jinsul seemingly lost in thought.
Stranger yet, no one seemed to be hurt. Maybe Jinsul had gotten them?
Careful, I sat up, only to be greeted by the predators grooming each other. They stared back at me as I froze once again.
“Finally,” Jinsul said, causing me to jump, “I need to ask you something.”
“Oh not this again,” Dornucl said, annoyed. “Ignore him, he’s gone mad.”
“What?” was my only response. The predators seemed to perk up, shifting their reclining posture slightly, ears standing on end.
“You’re supposed to be a scientist, and as such you understand the meaning of overwhelming evidence, yes?” Jinsul said.
“What you’re suggesting is not only the most unscientific conclusion I’ve heard but is also something I’d expect to come out of someone with terminal predator disease,” Dornucl interjected.
I glanced back terrified at the predators, who had not yet chosen to strike and instead decided to lay there. Menacingly.
I pressed myself against the back wall, hoping to fall straight through and away from them.
“Why haven’t you done anything about…them?” I said waving my tail toward the predators. “You’re an exterminator, so…exterminate.”
“With what?” Jinsul shot back and began waving his pistol with one paw while shaking the flamer laying beside with the other, “The handgun that won’t fire with damp ammunition or the flamer that will kill us all in this tight space? Besides, they won’t attack us.”
Dornucl groaned and rubbed his tentacles into his face, while my mouth was agape in shock.
“What do you mean ‘they won’t attack’?! Their bleating predators!”
“Gods, that’s what I’m trying to tell you!” Jinsul practically screamed in frustration. He took a breath, “OK, sorry, just listen alright? Have you been having weird dreams?”
I stiffened, “I had a dream last night where I almost drowned, but I don’t see what that has to–”
“So, you're telling me you didn’t almost drown?” he said with a knowing look.
I considered it with dawning horror, “But that’s–”
“Impossible,” Dornucl spat out, “And ludicrous.” He turned to me, “As I said, he’s snapped.”
“Then how else do you explain it? My brothers and sisters in arms have confided in me the same: dreams, visions, and inescapable feelings of familiarity in the unfamiliar. Those who heed them escape danger, while those who don’t, don’t.”
As Jinsul spoke, a true zealotry was imbued in his voice.
“I’ll give you this, by all means, these visions should be impossible and unexplainable by science.” Fervor glinted in his eyes. “But when science fails, we must turn to faith to guide us.”
A knot formed in my stomach as I got a sneaking suspicion of where he was going.
“It is my belief and that of my lieutenants and clergy that the gods have sent us these visions.” He announced this without a shadow of a doubt in his voice. “They’ve been guiding us from the moment we’ve entered the orbit. The delusions the crew had in orbit? Also the visions.”
It doesn’t make any sense, but he’s right on one thing. These premonitions are impossible, yet they happen and help us avoid danger. However, there has to be a more rational explanation. There just has to be.
“But why?” I ask. “To what end? If your gods are doing this, to what end? If they are behind everything, the visions and maybe the crash, then why what would justify so much suffering? It just doesn't make any sense.”
“That’s the nature of the divine,” he said somberly, “We can speculate why they would send the visions and make us…feel them and their pain all we want, but we are imperfect creatures, and they are things of perfection. We simply need to trust they are leading us to where we need to go.”
As I considered his words, Dornucl once again spoke up condescendingly.
“I can’t believe you even have to CONTEMPLATE what he’s saying!” He slumped down and motioned towards the predators. “Fine then, what do they have to do with your ‘gods’ plan’? Your duty as an exterminator is baked into your religion? What do you have to say to that?”
Jinsul involuntarily flicked his ears, betraying a rising irritation. “I don’t know, I don’t like it, and I don’t have to. They haven’t given us visions of them attacking us and they’ve decided to disable our best weapons. I don’t need to understand why, all I need to know is that there is a reason they would do so. Besides, they haven’t even tried to attack us. You're a biologist, do you consider that normal?”
“Do you even hear yourself? You sound like a lunatic! I could have you put away for this!”
Unlike his normally cool, level-headed, and almost jolly demeanor, Dornucl’s features were twisted in barely veiled rage. It was terrifying to see him on the verge of doing something awful. He opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by the predators.
The one with the grey fur was still lying down, but the other with the dark green fur had stood up and began stomping around in exaggerated and dramatic steps. All while growling and barking.
It was terrifying. However, it was dulled by the sheer surrealness of the situation. Its entire demeanor was less intentionally threatening and more childish mocking, right down to flailing its limbs in much the same way Dornucl did unconsciously to emphasize his point. It may even be funny if we could understand what they were saying.
Wait a minute…
I paused to think about that absent-minded thought, the gears and pistons finally shaking off the shock and beginning to fire and spin. I listened closely to its vocalizations and began to pick out a form of structure in how they were articulated and gestated. I recalled the predators' behavior and came to a grim conclusion.
“We have a problem,” I said so quietly it could barely be considered a whisper.
“Oh, what tipped you off genius?” Dornucl responded sarcastically.
I stumbled a little at the insult but continued.
“No, I mean a bigger problem,” I took a deep breath, “I think they’re sapient.”
The silence was deafening. Even the predator had stopped its mockery and began exchanging words with the other grey-furred one.
Dornucl glanced at the and sighed. “In hindsight, that does explain their behavior.”
Somehow, despite this revelation, Dornucl regained his composure and his cool demeanor.
“Well, in a certain sense, this simplifies things somewhat. We just have to wait for the translators to complete processing their language, then we can hopefully negotiate with them.”
I gawked at what he just said, while Jinsul broke down into laughter.
“And I’m the crazy one!” Jinsul managed to get out between the cackles, “Do you even hear yourself? Mindless animals are one thing, but this? We have the next the Arxur right before us!”
It was at this point that Plako decided to wake up. One can only imagine what was going through his head when he was greeted by 2 predators, a hysterical exterminator, a biologist trying not to show his frustration, and an anthropologist doing her best to fall through the wall.
He began to stammer. “Wh-what h-happened? Why haven’t they eaten us?”
Dornucl leaned over to him and deadpanned. “The predators are sapient.”
Plako froze after he processed this information.
Jinsul calmed down enough to speak more coherently, “Gods, it all makes sense. They must’ve bombed themselves back in the stone age, and have only recently been reclaiming their former technology.”
I spoke up. “I don’t think that’s the case. Remember, the worm showed us an image of that other creature. These predators likely evolved sometime after the civilization's collapse.”
“Well,” Jinsul said while deep in thought, “Now I can say for certain the gods must be involved.”
“Wh-what?” Plako asked trambling.
“Think about it. This whole situation is so astronomically unlikely, from being in an uncharted system in the middle of nowhere at the same time as a single Arxur ship to surviving the crash, and then meeting these predators, and them not attacking us. The gods’ intend for us to purge these creatures before they can spread and save the remnants of this civilization from–”
“No, I’m pretty sure it was laughing at you, not with you.” A masculine said from the back of the chamber.
“Fine, but I think I’m finally getting somewhere.” A feminine voice responded.
Jinsul went quiet as our gazes fell upon the predators. The translators finished translating. No one knew what to do, so we ended up just staring.
They both stared back with their unnerving abyssal eyes.
“I do wish they’d stop staring though. It’s starting to get weird.” The female said with a tone of unease.
“Let’s bring them to the village and have Oracle translate. It’s probably just a misunderstanding,” the male responded.
“Right, there's nothing we can do about it now.” She plopped beside the male and both began to get ready to sleep the best one could on the hard floor.
I felt something poke into my side, causing me to jump. Dornucl had crawled over to me and began to speak in a whisper. “What do you want me to do?” I asked.
His frustrated look returned. “You're the first contact specialist, go first contact.”
“And their predators!” I said, raising my voice a little louder, “They’ll eat me!”
He groaned and put on a forced calm. “While I disagree with Jinsul’s reasoning, they haven’t eaten us yet and we all want it to stay that way. Now if they decide they do want to eat us, we don’t have any weapons that wouldn’t be suicidal to use. If we want to get out of this alive and well, we’ll have to at least communicate with them.”
Jinsul, who had been effortlessly eavesdropping on us, muttered something under his breath. Dornucl ignored him as he continued, “So please at least try. Even if you fail, we’re likely doomed anyway.”
As much as I hated to admit it, he was right. I just wish it wasn’t me who had to do it or that I was the only one remotely qualified to do so. Haf was still unconscious, Plako looked on the brink of tears, Dornucl was just a scientist, and Jinsul wasn’t in the mood.
I gathered my strength and began running through what I could say. After a minute of idle thought, I came up with the only thing I could say. I stood up on quivering legs, took a brave step forward, and called upon the translator’s imparted knowledge.
“J-just so yo-you know, we’re not very tasty…and we’ll give you in-indigestion, so you shouldn’t eat us.” I felt like I was about to throw up.
The predators just stared at me, jaws agape and revealing menacing fangs. Jinsul nearly collapsed in renewed laughter. Dornucl buried his eyes into his tentacles and muttered something to himself.
“What was I supposed to say?” I said to Dornucl.
“ANYTHING BUT THAT!” he shot back.
Before I could snap back in frustration, the grey predator spoke.
“You speak our tongue the entire time? Why didn’t you say anything sooner?”
We paused, and even Jinsul stopped laughing like a madman. Wordlessly, Dornucl shoved me forward.
“N-no…” I stammered, “We have an implant in our heads that translates languages in real-time while allowing us to speak stored languages. It only just figured out your language just now.”
“So it’s a Mark of Communication?” It asked.
“I don’t–”
“No no,” the green one interrupted, “If they had one, then we wouldn’t be able to understand them.”
The grey one nodded sagely.
I had been expecting an equally long-winded and terrifying conversation about the plausibility of a universal translator and whether or not it was magic, not such a matter-of-fact statement. Before I could shake off the confusion, Dornucl suddenly spoke up, “What’s a mark of communication?"
“Definitely from beyond the wall,” the green one said to the grey.
The grey one nodded and turned back to us.
“A mark is a special gift, given only to one who reaches the top of Pebbles and meets with him, wherein he provides the mark and the knowledge necessary to complete the Pilgrimage. Did you receive your ‘translator’ from another like him?” They both seemed oddly interested in the answer.
“We made them,” I said, then quickly added, “The Federation did. We didn’t build them personally. Just to reiterate, you're not going to eat us, right?”
“Of course not.” The green one said, its voice rife with disgust. “Why do you–”
Jinsul swiftly cut it off.
“Do you think you win us over with such obvious deceptions?” Jinsul stood and sized up the predators, “I know this game. You’re just keeping us around till you get hungry. When I get off this rock, I’ll ensure the god’s wishes are seen through and this entire planet is burned from orbit!”
The predators seemed confused about what was said. The green one stepped too close to me, with nowhere to go, I froze and closed my eyes.
This is it Sefril. You knew this was coming. Don’t resist and maybe it will be–
“Is he okay?” it asked, feigning concern and pointing to a still-ranting Jinsul, “In, y’know…” it said as it tapped its claw against its head.
Jinsul paused momentarily as he took in what was just said, then began fuming again. “I DON’T HAVE BRAIN DAMAGE!” he shrieked.
It took a step back at the outburst. It put its arms out, but instead of lunging toward him, it seemed as though it was trying to shield itself from him, or at the very least keep him at a comfortable distance.
“I didn’t mean to offend,” It said, the translator framing it apologetically to my confusion, “I have a cousin who fell off a pole as a pup and landed on his head. You sorta act like him.”
Jinsul reached a new, as of yet unknown level of hate. He stood there for a second, simmering not unlike a faulty water boiler. Dornucl stepped behind him, raised some robust science thingy above his head, and brought it down on Jinsul’s.
Jinsul flopped to bring like a rag doll beside Haf. Everyone, including the predators, was speechless. Everyone except Dornucl.
“Everyone shut up!”, he said in a practical growl, “This is confusing for all of us, and antagonizing each other isn’t going to make this situation any better. Here’s how this will go: We’ll have a polite conversation, get to know each other, and then figure out what to do.”
He turns to the predators. “My name is Dornucl, and this is Sefril, Plako, Jinsul, and Haf. What’s your’s?”
“My name is Stone,” The grey-furred one responded, “And this is Light.” He said pointing to the green one.
“If you don’t mind me asking,” Light said, not skipping a beat, “Where are you from?”
Oh boy, getting right into it.
“So…” I began, but Plako jabbed me.
“You can’t,” he whispered in a panic, “There are predators, if they find out about the federation it’ll be the Arxur all over again.”
I look nervously at Dornucl, who nods reassuringly. I take a deep breath. “I know, but they’ll find out sooner or later. Besides, they may be predators, but they are also primitives. We have a natural advantage, if not physically than technologically and intellectually.”
I returned my attention to ‘Light’ and ‘Stone’, who did their best not to look like they were eavesdropping. “As I was saying…this is a little complicated. You know the stars, right?”
They nodd.
“We are from the stars.”
They blinked at us. They glanced around at us, trying to read our expressions.
“What do you mean?” Stone asked hesitantly.
I took a deep breath and launched into an explanation. “You know how we are currently in this world? There are others like, very, very far away. So far away that if you spent your entire life running as fast as you could you’d never even glimpse it.”
“Then how did you come here?” Light asked, “Did you use magic like the Ancients did?”
I took a mental note to inquire more about these Ancients, then resumed. “No, we, and the Federation as a whole, use large machines called ‘spaceships’. Each is equipped with a device called a subspace drive, which allows for faster-than-light travel. With this, we can travel between stars in days, weeks, or months depending on the distance between the stars.”
“Hey, I’m pretty fast, but I don’t think that going faster than me would make much of a difference if it’s that far away.”
Stone let out a good-natured snicker. “I think she meant light from a lantern or the sun.”
“Ah,” she remarked, ears pressed back in mild embarrassment. She tilted her head in confusion, “But that sounds like magic to me.”
“It’s not, ok? It’s just science.” I say with a sigh. Surprisingly, the word science seemed to translate without much of a fuss and they even nodded along. Something else to look into.
Stone asked the dreaded question: “Then how does it work?”
“I don’t know but I’m sure Plako could give you a basic…” I began to say when Plako started to make wild motions, trying to communicate he had no idea how it worked without drawing attention. He succeeded in trying to tell me that while failing to stay incognito. The predators turn their piercing eyes on him.
“Don’t worry about him,” I say hastily before they can speak, “It’s not his specialty.”
“What’s his specialty?” Stone asked. Plako visibly cringed, but this time Dornucl saved him.
“Let’s save the more technical discussions for tomorrow. It’s late, and we’re all tired.”
Light gave Stone a look before turning back to us. “Agreed. We both had a rough cycle. We even died a few times.”
They settled down while we were left to ponder the absolute bombshell they had dropped on us. Plako seemed checked, while Dornucl and I just shared a look. I recalled what Jinsul had come up with and felt a pit form in my stomach.
“I’m sorry, what?” I asked dumbfounded.
Stone looked up from where she was cuddling up next to Light. “What do you mean? Was it something I said?”
“Yes, it was something you said,” I said while trying not to hyperventilate, “You said you died. What do you mean by that?”
Both predators looked confused. “You know, the Cycle. Wake up, Die, wake up. Don’t you have the Cycle where you’re from?”
“...no…” I say in an empty voice. “By any chance, you wouldn’t happen to remember these deaths as dreams?”
The predators gave me a look of confusion, before Light nodded. I stared for an eternity, and this time the predators were the ones to give us uncomfortable looks. They whispered between themselves, occasionally shooting glances back towards us though taking no other action.
Unfortunately, our solace from their gazes didn’t last, as Stone turned back to us. “I can see that there are certainly…things that need to be sorted out between us, but I think Door-Knuckle had the right idea.”
I nodded, barely registering what he was saying. The others muttered in half-hearted agreement. Satisfied, the predators continued to snuggle up beside each other. Within moments, they were fast asleep.
We stayed quiet for a long while. Plako crawled closer to Dornucl and me. “They’re lying, right? I mean, they have to be. It’s what predators do.”
I couldn’t muster myself to answer him. Dornucl seemed flustered.
“Say something…please…” Plako pleaded, raising his voice above the whisper he had it at before. Thankfully the predators didn’t wake. We just sat there, letting it all sink in.
“It’s…let’s…” Dornucl started to say, before settling on “Damn it.”

This week's Heidi's Lane recap. She really has so much figured out, guys, and she's here to teach you how to be your best self. Her ego is on full display with this one. Enjoy the ride!
Heidi’s Lane Podcast. Episode 30, Part II. “My Surrender Formula: Practical Tips For Letting Go Of Control”
(OP Notes: Credit where credit is due. Instead of her usual “vague talk;'' in this episode Heidi actually gives some real life examples to make her points. Now, get your post-its ready, she's shilling quote after quote in this one, and you won’t want to miss a moment of her life-changing content. This episode really highlights her delusions of grandeur. Remember when she proudly proclaimed that she ”wasn’t here to teach us, but to love us, and through her love we will be taught?” That era is apparently over. She truly thinks her teachings are changing lives. She “humbly” comes across as having all the secrets to a fulfilled life, while admitting that her content is “just as much for me as it is for you.” BUT ALSO, just like Dave and Rach, she is “teaching” from a place she has no expertise in, and not enough experience in. Let’s just say, her confidence on this topic of “surrender” comes through loud and clear, and by the end of this episode, she wants you to be as enlightened as she is. One more thing, today she blames her panic attacks on her control issues. Heidi, your delusion is showing. Oh, and YES, just like in every episode, she mentions Dave, Chris, her panic attacks, and her challenges.)
Parentheses are OP thoughts
Her camera isn’t working, so there’s no video of this pod on Youtube. But she’s decided to “let go of control” and “surrender to it.” “This episode will be exactly what it needs to be.”
Quote from the book “The Surrender Experiment.” “Do whatever is put in front of you with all your heart and soul, without regard for personal results. Do the work as though it were given to you by the universe, because it was.” And then she reads it to us one more time, with more emphatic and dramatic pauses.
Do you try to control your kids, or your spouse, or your parking, or the government? When we try to control them, what we’re saying is that we are God, or we are the universe.
Think about your past relationships. Was it a perfect fit? A good fit? Or a terrible fit? Were we so hell bent on having that person want us, we were chasing unavailable love? I’ve done that more times than I want to admit. I was chasing the unavailable. I loved someone who didn’t love me the way I wanted them to. I would try to not have the relationship fall apart. If they could only see how great life would be with me. The more I controlled, the more out of control the situation was. I truly said to God, “Please help this person love me the way that I love them. Please help my kids to see it the way I see it.” They’re not going to.
We can’t control what people say about us. I don’t know if this is too much, but I’m going to say it. It was hard for Dave to hear the words that the haters were saying. The bullies. The cyberbullies. For someone to sit and listen and then spend their days attacking people they don’t even know. There’s no life there. They have no life. I have empathy and compassion for them, for their sadness they must experience on a daily basis. I would never do that. I couldn’t do that. It’s not in my DNA. I have too much good in my life, but it was hard for Dave to understand the haters' sadness and misery. They did so much harm to his soul. They hurt him. He would often read what they said. They made fun of his nostrils, or the way he would say something, or something he did in one of my stories. He would then react and try to control it, trying to make them like him. He would shift. He tried to control these people who do not matter. The situation controlled him. For a while I did the same thing, and then I got to the point of saying, “What in the hell am I doing? Why am I letting these people tell me who I am?” I know there are more people out there who appreciate me, those are my people. We can all relate to that.
We’ve all had haters. We try to control it. Surrendering is a result of a particular action, the action of letting go. When we don’t, we are saying we are God, we are the universe. Our job is not to control the flow of the universe.
Years ago, when I was married to Chris, my mom gave me a card that said, “What would you do without me? You would die without me.” It was a joke. I was a control freak. I am less now, I’m trying to do better. All of us control freaks think that if we step back it will all fall apart. What happens if I can’t control what Boy M does after high school? Or girl M?
My employees are laughing right now, because it’s true. When Dave and I were doing the challenges, I was so busy. I’m not sure if Dave was, I mean I’m sure he was busy, too. I was a control freak. I had a wonderful, large army of people helping me achieve my goals. We had challenges, and education courses, and in-person events. We had to show up. We built an app. We had supplements. I was so busy and my level of control freakism was on another level. This was true from 2021 until Dave died. I would do team calls in the morning and afternoon. They were 2 hour calls, sometimes 2 and a half hour calls every morning and afternoon. I couldn’t let my team work without me controlling them. It caused my anxiety attacks. Clearly this behavior affected my body physiologically. I couldn't get out of bed. I stayed in a dark room for a week. I was at a point that I didn’t care if it all fell apart. A phone call would cause another panic attack. What’s interesting is that in my week away, my team thrived. I was a wrench in everyone’s spokes. I learned that week that my job was to lead. I’ve grown so much over the last 2 years. When Dave died I stepped away for a month. I learned that when we step back the world is not going to fall apart.
Nature is a rhythm. We can’t control the universe. Our job is to ride the wave. When you go to the beach, watch the surfers. They don’t control the waves, they read them and watch them, they wait, and then they paddle paddle paddle and catch the wave. They embrace the flow. It’s the art of surrender. A quote from Untethered Soul, “Go outside on a clear night and just look up into the sky. You’re sitting on a planet spinning around in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Though you can only see a few thousand stars, there are hundreds of billions of stars in our Milky Way Galaxy alone. It’s estimated there are over a trillion stars in the galaxy. You’re just standing on one little ball of dirt and spinning around one of the stars. From that perspective, do you really care what people think about your clothes or your car? Do you need to feel embarrassed if you forget someone's name? If you want a decent life, don’t devote your life to avoiding psychological pain. What kind of life is that?”
Do you feel that? Avoiding pain means it’s always right behind you. When we are controlling we are trying to avoid pain. Are you starting to see? This is reality. We are a blip in the universe. We need to find the flow, to relax, stop trying to drive, to manipulate, and to work. I’m passionate and emotional about this. Now that you have all the feels, you have perspective. I want to make sure you learn what I’m sharing and apply it. (Is this Heidi trying to control her listeners?)
You probably finish this episode and think you’ve got this. In 6 months you’re going to think back and realize what I really meant. Now I get it. I totally get it now. I want you to be grounded and confident that what you’ve learned here will unfold exactly how it should unfold for you. I want to send you off with 3 ideas. How, how, how, how. How do we make it better? Remember that you are the main character in your own life. Write this down. (again, with the control) You are the main character in your life. We spend too much time doubting ourselves. I know I do. Remember you’re the main character in your life.(yes, she really says it 3x) At 2 years old you were told to stay in line, be quiet, watch your words, don't make anyone uncomfortable. We were trained to make people happy. We think we need to be good to get loved. We must expand our best parts. (That explains her booty workouts) I want this moment to be a hard reset moment in your life. (STOP TRYING TO CONTROL ME, HEIDI!) You can now begin to engage in a different way, beginning today. Don’t watch from the sidelines. Show up for your life. Imagine a movie of your life. As the title credits go by and it fades, everything that happened before that fades away. After that moment, you decide who to become. The movie is about you and your development as a person.
Now, let’s recap. You are the main character in your own life. (That 4x now) No longer will you do what other people want you to do. No longer is it about who you need to be to make someone happy. That was before. Now it’s about what makes you happy. (I thought this was about surrendering?) What will create the best life for you? What will help you achieve your highest self? You are the main character of your own life. (FIVE TIMES!!!)
You are worthy. I’m going to say it again. You are worthy. Carl Jung once said, “I am not what has happened to me.” Oooooo, actually, he said, “I am what I choose to become.” I might have this quote wrong. “I'm not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”
We’ve covered a lot of new ideas in the last 2 episodes and you probably have a lot of new things you want to do and implement into your life. Don’t forget, you’re worthy. Your past doesn’t define you. You are a beautiful soul. You’re right where you are supposed to be. You are a divine creature. Like you, I’m just figuring things out like everybody else. You are worthy. Do you understand me? I’m saying this to you and to myself. You are worthy of love. Being you is enough. You are worthy. Now, write this on a post-it, I made a tshirt out of it. “The universe has your address.” There’s a great quote, “Most things are out of our control.” It’s not your job to make waves, it’s to ride the waves. Don’t try to tell other surfers how to ride their waves (Literally what she’s doing) Ride your own waves.
You’re probably super optimistic and excited and empowered after listening to me today. You’re feeling all the feels. I am, too. Part of you is also like, holy crap, how do I remember all of this? When I’m inspired, I have mixed feelings. I’m downloading a lot of things that will change my life. You have mixed feelings. You’re optimistic and you’re hearing me, and you’re like, I can do something about it. You listen to me and you get great tools. My guests give you great tools. How do you remember them all? How do you go back to daily life after being inspired? (She thinks she’s so inspiring to me that I can’t even function after listening to her?) I’m a humongous believer that you are going to get from each interaction with me exactly what you are meant to get. This is where faith and trust come in. Trust that the universe has your address. God is there for you. He’ll help you get out of this what you’re meant to get out of it. Stop resisting. Not everything’s a fight. Where are you resisting? Are you resisting giving that love to that person? Carl Jung said, “What we resist persists.” Paulo Coelho said, “When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize her dream.” I want you to hear that again. “When you really desire something, all of the universe conspires to help her realize her dream.” The more you control, you’re getting in the way of God helping you make your dreams a reality. Get 3 post-it notes and put these things on your mirror. I have a long way to go, guys. I do. I have a lot of things I need to stop trying to control. It's increasingly harder (Shouldn’t her tips here make it easier?) What my kids are going to be after they leave my house is a real struggle for me. I experienced as a kid myself a parent who loved me so much they controlled everything I did. It was control over me in an effort to love me. To make sure I didn’t fall. That way of helping is like going to the gym and someone says, “Lets build you up to lifting a 400 lb bench press.” That person is my spotter. If they keep lifting half of my load, so I don’t get hurt, then I think I can lift 400 lbs. So when I go to the gym to lift 400 lbs without a spotter, the barbell crushes us. I’m struggling to let go with my kids to do things on their own. It’s not my job to always pick them up. It’s not my job to create waves for my kids, but to love them on whichever waves they choose to ride. My job is to let go and trust that the universe and God have my address. I didn’t get where I am today without my struggles. I’m proud of who I am.
My invitation to you is to go through your week and watch for how the universe will line up to make things happen for you. Be prepared to be amazed at how much peace and joy you feel. You can only control you. Let me say that again, You can only control you. You can’t control the situation. Remember my 3 ideas: 1. You are the main character in your story (SIX TIMES!!!!!) 2. You are worthy. 3. The universe and God have your address.
Next week she’ll have a really great guest for us.

2024.05.13 13:21 EssentialSiteSkills From Energy Efficiency to Enhanced Market Value: The Power of EPCs in Property Sales

Did you know that a superior Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) could increase your property's value?
As the UK housing market continues to evolve, Catherine Storer, Executive Director and construction industry expert at Essential Site Skills, is emphasising the significant impact that Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) have on buying and selling homes. With the UK’s firm commitment to reducing carbon emissions, EPCs are not just regulatory requirements but key factors in maximising property value and ensuring sustainable living.
“Whether you are selling your home or in the market to buy, understanding the EPC of your property is crucial,” said Catherine Storer. “These certificates do more than outline energy costs; they provide a blueprint for enhancing energy efficiency, which can substantially increase property value and appeal in today's eco-conscious market.”
An EPC rates a property’s energy efficiency, from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient), and includes detailed information on a home’s energy use, typical energy costs, and tangible recommendations for improvements. This information is invaluable for homeowners looking to sell, as a higher rating can attract buyers looking for an energy-efficient home. Likewise, buyers benefit by knowing the potential energy costs and savings associated with their new home.
Energy Efficiency Improvement Tips
Heating and Ventilation: Upgrading your heating system can significantly enhance your EPC rating. Specialists in modern and efficient heating technologies can install new boilers, heat pumps, or more efficient radiators tailored to your property's specific needs.
Renewable Energy: Integrating renewable energy sources like solar panels, biomass heaters, or air source heat pumps can greatly improve your home’s energy efficiency. Experts in these technologies provide installation services and advice on the best options for your property.
Insulation: Effective insulation is one of the most cost-efficient methods to boost a home's energy efficiency. Professionals specialising in loft, wall, and floor insulation can significantly improve your home’s heat retention.
Windows and Doors: Installing energy-efficient doors and windows, such as double or triple-glazed options, can also markedly enhance your home's thermal performance.
“As the property market becomes increasingly competitive, a good EPC rating is not just a nice-to-have, but a crucial component of a property’s marketability and long-term value,” Storer added.
For homeowners interested in selling their properties, or buyers wanting to invest wisely, understanding and improving an EPC can be a game-changer.

2024.05.13 01:34 Any_Ad3960 I think I went to a diploma mill for international students. What are my options?

Hello everyone,
This might be a long shot, but I want to see my options.
Back in 2019, I was working a good job as a manager at a Credit Union in Toronto, but I wanted to do something more. I always had a dream to work with renewable energy and being on the front lines to combat climate change. So I decided to enroll at my college to get an advanced diploma in Energy Systems Engineering Technology (ESET). I wanted to become a Wind Turbine Technician.
Before I enrolled, I went to an open house at the college. There I spoke to the dean of my program, and I asked him, how this program would lead me into the wind turbine industry. In hindsight I was short-sighted and I fell for his sales pitch. He told me that my College was the best place to be, because they offered more than just wind turbines, but solar as well. He also told me that they not only taught theory, but hands on experience. I also asked about the CO-OP program, and if they had any CO-OPs within the wind insdustry, and the dean assured me that they did. At the time I thought it was great.
First semester and second semester was good. Electrical theory, basic physics, mathematics and everything one would expect from a technical school.
Then the third semester started and I started to see the cracks. I started to question integrity of the program, where students were openly cheating on tests, getting caught, and the instructors just telling them to "stop it".
Finally, when I started my Wind and Solar course, it was just the head of the program just reading off the slides. Any question that was asked, he would say: "I'll get back to you", which he never would. In other courses the instructors would do the same, not explain context behind anything of what was being taught. There was a microcontroller class I took that taught us how to program and set up an archaic microcontroller that wasn't even used anymore. I asked if we would learn about Arduinos, and my instructor said, it would be taught start the semester after me. Then what was the point to any of this?!
When it came to the labs, our "fantastic hands-on experience" was us being paired into groups and follow the user manual on how to install a small wind turbine, one would find on someone's shed to power a light bulb. And after that, there where no more mention of Wind turbines or renewable energy. The rest of my studies was learning boilers, AC units and thermal-dynamics. Not only in one class, but in 4 different classes, across 3 different semesters, they repeated the same material about thermal-dynamics in AC units, boilers and some power plants, however it was all the same material.
There was this one class I took where the professor relied on this book that had many mistakes and missing information when it came to the formulas. The instructors would get questions from the book and use them in our tests. When the class did the test, everyone failed it. I emailed the instructor that there the questions and information was incomplete, he responded to my email and accused me of spreading lies and rumors to the rest of the class. But hey, I'm glad he got a great job at a University.
About midway in my studies I studied like I never had before, because I had to do my own research on materials the instructors didn't explain. However, I managed to keep my average high enough to get into the CO-OP program. When I started, the CO-OP program was weeks on how to write a resumé, and how to dress and speak during an interview. OK I guess... but when it came time to find a CO-OP, non of the job postings on the portal where renewable energy. When I asked my CO-OP advisor, she told me I had to go and look for wind turbine companies and give them a sales pitch that their company will get tax benefits in hiring a CO-OP student. I contacted a few and the only one that got back to me told me I had no certifications and I would be a liability to the company (understanable but very disappointing). After weeks of looking for companies and positions, I missed many opportunities on the portal with utility company. The only job I managed to get was for an assembler in a AC company for a 12 month contract in the electrical department.
My CO-OP was awful to say the least. The lead hand of the electrical department bullied and harassed me and the other CO-OP students. I wished I read the Google reviews because they specifically warned for CO-OP students not to go there, even mentioning the lead hand in the reviews. And the cherry on top: about half way in my contract the plant manager asked me essentially spy on the employees working on the assembly line. The official story was for me to act as an "assembly engineer" and "to find any bottle necks" in the assembly line. When I presented my findings, they wanted names of all the employees that were slacking, something I refused to do. When they saw they couldn't get that information they wanted, they replaced me with another CO-OP student to do the same. When I told my CO-OP instructor this she said she would look into it. I don't know what happened after that.
After graduating in 2023 I managed to get about 5 different interviews with some wind turbine companies. All fell through. When I asked one interviewer, how I could improve myself after the rejection, he told me I lacked practical experience. Now I'm working in yet another manufacturing job in the electrical department with another toxic lead hand.
I felt I wasted 3 years of my life at my college . I felt that the whole course was so broad and the instructors did not care because most of my colleagues were engineers from their home countries. Looking back and seeing the news from other Colleges being a diploma mill I felt that my College did the same thing. My fellow domestic students feel the same way, and are having a tough time even finding their first job after graduating.
What would be my options, if any?
Thank you everyone.

2024.05.12 18:13 SJ_PMHNP Self-contained water systems: Recommendations for a budget of $3,000 or less?

Hey everyone,
I just recently sold my La Marzocco One Group Linea that I used at my coffee shop (shut down during the pandemic) and I'd kept it with the intention to use it at home once we bought our permanent house. Seeing it in the house, it's just too big & heavy a unit in addition to requiring a dedicated 220v line and larger filtration & water supply.
As the title shows, I'd like to find a self-contained water system, but I am still open to recommendations that require plumbing/dedicated water line.
TL;DR Looking for home setup recommendations based on:
One unit I was looking at was the:
Thanks in advance!

Create New Age Nuclear Heating And Electricity transfer
Create New Age adds incredible features with great integration with Create, but the ways to use it's features to maximum efficiency is hard to understand. So what are the best practices when making a nuclear heated steam boiler, and what is going on with wires and motors?
My setup for nuclear heated steam boiler : (2x) 6 boiler heater and 5 nuclear rods, makes a perfect max level steam engine (+ independent and passive water and mechanical arm on top) for a long time I struggled with sending the heat produced by the nuclear reactor effectively to the boiler heater, then fix was simple really : a bunch of heat pumps !!!

So then, 2nd thing, why my diamonds wires that can transport 8k zap/t, (the generator makes a bit more then that) makes some of my motors not receiving all their zap/t and the total of all motors isn't 8k zap/t, so there's a problem I can't figure out there :/

2024.05.09 10:58 3rdhandlekonato I'm forced to help Russia in it's war with Ukraine.

Nag update pa laptop ko kaya Marami time mag share...
A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of executing the decommission process of all interfaces and access between the company I work for(electronics company based in the EU) against it's Russian branch in Moscow.
It's part of the sanctions.. so di talaga sya initiative Ng company...
Ang saya saya ko nun, cause one Ukraine is practically the test case for Taiwan, if shit hits the fan madadamay tlga tau. Since we are the weakest link in the Pacific island chain blocking the Mainland toward the Pacific and compromised din ang government thanks to Duterte.
Heck I'd argue na mas madali pa I take over ang Manila kesa sa Taiwan, though consolidating the whole archipelago will be much more harder than Taiwan haha.
Pinost ko pa un sa Ukraine sub, proud na proud pa nmn ako Nung nag dedeactivate na ako Ng mga codes at IDs na Russian.
tas eto na nga...
Earlier this week, my boss who also has strong feelings against Russia, given his grandparents where driven out of Konigsberg now known as Kaliningrad during WW2.
Told me to start extracting all the financial and logistics data tied to Russia Kasi need daw I send sa Russian counterparts pra sa gagawin nila independent na operation..
Ung financial data is understandable, Kasi may tax reporting shit din Sila dun at Marami pauso si Putin about sa format, allergic Kasi hayup na un sa ISO or any form of best practice.
Pero ung logistics??? Ung data Ng vendors, customers, suppliers, pati mga materials na umiikot sa kanila? Mga micro chips, raw material, conductors eto for smart appliance ahh..
Kahit mga entities na never naman nag ka transaction with Russia???
Lahat ibibigay??? Alam na!!!!
It's a political topic na tlga sa executive level, at eto na ung compromise nila.
Kumbaga last abuloy to Russia...Sana....
Tbh I keep my politics out of my job, this issue won't pay my bills, but I do know that I can be my problem if this escalates further.
Anyway, 3/4 done na ako tlga pero ang deadline is mid june pa, Kasi dun mag take effect ang sanction na gusto nila unahan.
I'm just gonna send this shit and inform them on the very last minute. Heck baka tagalan ko pa pag na justify ko hahaah...
Taena Buhay, I'm working hard for mother Russia.
