(The cat runs from Miss Pentious pushing a giant ray gun)

(Two boys enter the hotel with a bunch of box in a cart)

(Miss Pentious looks at the bar Hisky and Angela give her the middle finger and Niffter smiles and laughs creepily to her)

Charles: Well, why don't we focus on that for today's activities?
Vagner: Not before we lay some ground rules: no more building weapons, no more plotting against the other guests and you need to get rid of these things.
(One of the Egg Girls shoots a laser at the roof and breaks it)

(A stage is seen behind Vagner and Charles)

The world seemed to slow down, as the Picapao shot an energy bolt at the human emperor.
None of us had any time to react. We couldn’t have. But somehow, the sector governor lunged himself at the emperor, pushing him out of the way, and getting hit by the blast in the emperor’s stead.
The avian terrorist curses as he lands and aims the weapon again, as a few more Picapao terrorists approach the platform.
The imperial guard aimed at the first terrorist and used their kinetic weapons, landing four shots on the chest and head of the bird.
The Emperor however does not move, and I tilt my head in confusion as I notice the imperial guards are not blocking the emperor. He kneels and places his hand on the wound, as the governor’s blood slowly pools on the ground.
“Send a medic, quickly!”, shouts the Emperor in an authoritative tone. We look around confused, as we did not anticipate such a thing as terrorism on our planet, but we quickly realise he was speaking to the other humans, and shortly after, two humans dressed in green come out with a stretcher and a bag full of stims.
“Take him to the shuttle and take care of him”, ordered Augustus, unbothered by the violent chaos around him, “and you lot, take cover in the shuttle as well.”
We didn’t need another word to comply, but my curiosity couldn’t be contained. Why was this human, who was so important to the Terran empire, not taking cover or running away? He was one of the most important people in the galaxy. I stay behind as I enter the shuttle to glean the bloodbath outside.
One of the humans was kneeling, holding on to his stomach, groaning in pain.
“Marcus, are you wounded?”, asked the emperor, walking towards the guard.
“I am fine, your highness. My shield simply malfunctioned and I took the concussive force of the blast instead of it being deflected. Might have cracked a few ribs.”
“Go inside as well and ask the medics to patch you up”, ordered Augustus, “and the rest of you, hold your fire. I want to speak with these…”
He pauses, his stare locked on the body of the first terrorist, his face perfectly still. His emotions were hidden well beneath his emperor’s persona.
“... People.”
The terrorists land and aim again, holding their fire as they notice the emperor approaching them with his hands up.
“Valiant Winged Warriors of Kloaria”, he said in Piapia, the native language of the Picapao, “I understand you blame me, for the deaths of the K’krai.”
“Quiet, ape”, said one of the winged criminals, “Your accent is hideous and so is your soul.”
“I apologise for my accent. I have not had many opportunities to train my speech to capture the nuances of your language.”
“Why would you even care?”, said another, “You are nothing more than a monster. You killed billions!”
“Indeed I have. I carry their blood on my hands forever. My name is a curse amongst many people. But I dream that the entire galaxy one day can receive the bounties of Terra. And for that, I need to reach everyone, personally…”
Interrupting him, one of the terrorists curses aloud and shoots his energy rifle at the Emperor, who makes no effort to dodge. The blast hits an invisible barrier, diffusing through the air around the human.
“Bounties such as this. A personal penta-dimensional quantum diffuser. An energy shield that can protect the user from almost any harm.”
He points at the centrepiece of the gold embroidery of his vest, and a barely noticeable glow emanates from it.
“I have a question for you Picapao. Who sent you?”
“We will not tell you anything. Your little imperial guard will have to kill us, as we have no intention of being imprisoned.”
The emperor nodded, sniffing, his eyebrows raised slightly.
“I respect that. You have ideals. Standards”, the human turned away from them and faced the shuttle, his eyes locked on mine. They were sharp and cold. Calculating. The true self of humanity did not replace the once warm presence. The apex predator persona had awoken.
“I believe it was Thucydides, a human of an age long past, who once said -The society that separates its scholars from its warriors will have its thinking done by cowards and its fighting by fools.”
He revealed a bracelet, which glinted in the sunlight. It appeared metallic in the distance, but liquid at the same time.
“With me as emperor, Humanity has embraced this motto. But I go further. I believe that the rulers should be as prepared to die for their subjects, as the subjects are for their ruler”
The bracelet started to glow, morphing into a sword in a fraction of a second. The sword was silvery with a similar pattern of golden embroidery along its blade.
Why would the leader of such an advanced race be using such an antiquated weapon?
“Your enemy will not be my guards, but rather it shall be me. If you kill me, you shall return to Kloaria, being acclaimed as heroes”, the emperor said, turning to face the avians, “but if I defeat you, you shall tell me who else was involved, as the sector governor Elder Prin could have died thanks to your actions. And if you don’t, then the Senate and People of Terra shall have no choice but to consider Kloaria a bastion of hostile powers and decisive action will have to be taken. Agreed?”
The birds yelled in rage and shot their weapons again.
But instead of letting the blasts hit the energy shield, the emperor started dodging as he made his way towards the terrorists. The blasts were near light speed, but the emperor was dodging them nonchalantly. It felt magical, until I noticed his eyes, darting around. He was predicting the trajectories of the blasts.
He got to the first terrorist and cut his rifle in half, delivering a powerful kick to the temple of the bird and making the most of the motion to jump towards the second hostile, ducking and then lunging, the sword cutting through one of the arms of the avian as if it was warm huglun butter.
Finally, the last terrorist yelled in rage and fear and started spraying blasts at the emperor, who retracted the sword back into the bracelet and then performed some sort of human martial art, punching the chest of the avian with such force and precision that a loud crack of bones echoed throughout the platform, as the final Picapao was sent flying around 5 meters without the use of his wings.
The emperor then made his way towards the gasping bird and squatted down.
“So, who else was involved in this attack?”

I think we need to start publicly calling out the one-sided diversity programs for what they are: supremacist to their core.
I see so many young men today pushed out of STEM fields to supposedly make those professions stronger, but where do those inexperienced and unskilled men then find work? Certainly not in education or nursing or veterinary care, where "men have nothing new to offer that isn't already being met by women" (and that's an actual quote from those who control the hiring practices there...so much for that "diversity is our strength" motto when it comes to those professions I guess). The long-term trend in ratios of men to women in those female-dominated careers has actually only gotten worse for men as these diversity programs to fix male-dominated jobs have become entrenched everywhere. So men are not welcome in the fields they tend to gravitate towards, and they're not welcome in the fields that they might be able to enjoy, but that don't pique their interest as much. And unfortunately those young men hoping to become a programmer or a scientist instead end up unemployed, or they are forced to fight for the few menial, physical, low skilled, low wage, and sometimes even dangerous, jobs that remain (and no one cares if those are dominated by males...for some strange reason).
I can draw so many parallels with what is happening right now to the historical justifications by white supremacists in the US in the mid-twentieth century. Those supremacists never outright said that other groups were inferior, at least not publicly. Their PR instead claimed that society was "better off" if – for example – the schools remained segregated, because both groups would somehow "magically benefit" from that situation. Does this rhetoric sound familiar? We're told to just ignore the obvious economic and social disparities being created, because it's for the good of everyone and it will all just work out without the need for any direct funding, support, etc, to balance things out, don't you see?
I mean, some countries have even created a legal definition of "historically marginalized groups" that officially places men into a category of second-class citizen and judges them as inferior. It's so blatant in some ways that it almost feels insane to say it.
Diversity that only works in one direction is just supremacy. Nothing more.

So you’ve finally beat classic mode and are ready to start your endless mode adventure! Congrats champ, you’re in for a treat with Endless Mode unlocked. I have received a lot of questions about team composition, item prioritization, abilities and people just asking for general tips on how to set yourself up for a successful endless run. In this video we will dive into all the details and I will share several great strategies that can get you deep into endless mode. There are a couple requirements that have to be met to set yourself up for success, so it can take several runs before you actually make it far. Take it easy, sit back and relax as I will guide you on your way to become a competent PokeRogue Endless player.
The most important thing about Endless mode is your starting party. You want to set yourself up with as many of the right pokemons from the get-go, because pivoting into a different strategy can be a pain. Since you get 15 points in endless to build your team as opposed to the 10 in classic mode there is a lot more room to build your party, however it is impossible to bring the best in slot party straight from the starter select screen. Even with 15 points you are going to have to make choices, and you can’t fuse any of your pokemon without being in the actual game and obtaining the DNA splicer items. It is very possible to start with an un-optimized team and pivot into stronger pokemon fusions as you play. Fortunately the most important aspects and strategies are easily accessible and don’t rely on rare legendary pokemon or hard to find hidden abilities. However hidden abilities and egg moves can definitely help you with your runs! If you don’t have access to one of the requirements do not fear, try to implement as much of the strategy I am about to present to you as you can. I am sure you can make it to a point where capturing lots of pokemon becomes an easy feat. And after doing one or two endless runs you should be able to set yourself up to become a real Endless grinder and get into the mid/late game. Capturing pokemon is going to be a recurring theme. You want to capture everything! The motto of pokemon has not been more true for any other pokemon game out there. You truly gotta ‘catch em all’ in PokeRogue ^^
You want to start your party with at least a single pokemon that has pokerus, which is indicated by the purple square box around pokemons in the starter select screen. Pokerus gives us an extra 1.5x multiplier for all the experience gained and it will spread to your entire team in about 50 waves. If it is a pokemon that also helps the team it’s a win win, but if it’s a pokemon that is not going to do anything or very little for us when it comes to beating the waves, you want the pokemon to be as low cost as possible as it will be dropped as soon when it spreads its pokerus to one of the main pokemon on your team. If you have access to a shiny version of a pokemon that fits the needs of the strategies explained going forward, you always want to prioritize it over a non shiny pokemon. Shiny pokemon are your best friend as they add better luck to the item shop. A normal shiny pokemon gives 1 luck, a rare shiny gives 2 luck and an epic shiny gives 3 luck. You can also fuse shinies together to upgrade this luck even further for a total of 6 luck when fusing an epic shiny with an epic shiny. This luck caps out at 14 which gives you the SSS tier of luck shown at the top in the itemshop which appears after each non-boss wave.
It is important to know that the start of endless is by far the most difficult. A simple rule of thumb that applies to both classic and endless mode is that potions and other healing items are rather cheap at the start, so always make sure to heal up your entire party. It is very possible that RNG is simply not in your favour and that you will run into a wall at some early wave. This is completely fine, if this happens you just have to try again!
Endless mode has a boss wave every 50 waves and every 250 waves you will run into Eternatus. Up until wave 1000 Eternatus will be the exact same as in Normal mode, but it does not have the move flamethrower in Endless. After wave 250 you can get Fusion Tokens, which give a 1% chance per token to make your foe a fusion, this can also apply to boss-waves and Eternatus. Another thing to note is that every 1000 waves you run into Eternamax Eternatus who has the Black Hole item (just as in classic). Be sure to check your team’s items after this bossfight as it can steal essential items from your pokemons during the fight!
The token system in Endless is a very important factor and can make one run A LOT easier than the other. There are a grand total of 10 different tokens. As with anything in Endless mode these tokens add up exponentially as your run progresses. The tokens are as following: Damage, Endure, Full Heal, Protection, Recovery, Sleep, Poison, Paralyze, Freeze and Burn.
The worst one to deal with by far is the Recovery token. If those stack up too much it can be almost impossible to out damage a foe without proper strategy, but don’t worry about this for now as you will never have more than 5 until you are at wave 2000+
As said before these tokens will be different for everyone, however there are some static points in the run where everyone receives the same amount of a certain token, such as the fusion tokens after wave 1000. Fun fact: tokens have actually been nerfed in a recent patch. The endure token for example used to be 5% per token instead of the 2.5% chance it now.
The bread and butter of every PokeRogue endless run (and also for classic runs) is the ability Pickup. A pokemon with pickup is able to gather items from all the wild pokemon you encounter every wave. It only has to be alive and in your party for the ability to work. The most important items it will pick up are berries. Since berries stack and you can use an unlimited amount in a single battle they are the most important. Make sure to frequently check your pickup pokemon and transfer items to your carry.

Except for zigazagoon/linoone you want to make sure that you NEVER EVOLVE your pickup pokemon as its ability will change. Spam b when they evolve and afterwards you can get the option on the pokemon to lock it from evolving. Other than berries Pick Up also gets you a ton of lucky eggs and golden eggs which increase the EXP of the pokemon that is holding them. You can have a total of 99 of these on your pokemon. And equally important are the damage boosting type items, such as Spell Tag. These items increase the damage by 20% for its respective type. You can have a maximum of 99 of these too. These really add up and boost your damage a lot!
Another accessible ability that can save your run is the ability Run Away. This allows you to be able to always run away from a non-boss wave. However take note that you DO NOT go to the item shop if you do run away. The run-away strategy is something that is essential for the mid and endgame of Endless Mode, but it can also save your run early on if you do happen to run into something nasty that counters your carry.

A carry is a pokemon that you will be investing all your resources in and that is going to do almost all the work for you. Every endless run needs one and you can easily get to wave 2000+ with ANY pokemon that has decent base stats and preferably access to a move that can hit both opponents in double battle. Some examples of this are Sinistcha who learns the move ‘’Matcha Gatcha’’ very early on which heals you back to full HP every time if it hits both opponents (50% if it’s a single hit) and saves you on purchasing healing items. Another very strong early carry is Goldhengo who gets the move ‘’Make it Rain’’ which hits both opposing pokemon and also earns you money every time you hit. Similar to Goldhengo a very good early game carry that can help you out with your money is a Meowth with the ability Technician (60 power moves deal 50% more damage for 90 power). Meowth learns the move ‘’Pay Day’’ at level 12. Using pay day ensures you have a little bit of extra money after every wave. If you can’t think of or own a good pokemon that fits these requirements you can easily use Mudkip, Turtwig and or Fuecoco as a carry, which are starter pokemons that you have access to from the get go, however it is a bit harder to get through the early game of endless with those.
A list of pokemon moves that hits both opponents (there are a lot more, but this should help): Matcha Gatcha, Make it Rain, Acid, air cutter, blizzard, bubble, dark void, eruption, growl, heat wave, hyper voice, icy wind, leer, muddy water, powder snow, razor leaf, razor wind, rock slide, spikes, stealth rock, string shot, surf, sweet scent, swift, tail whip, toxic spikes, twister, heal block, water spout, snarl, glaciate, relic song, electroweb, struggle bug, incinerate, and rage powder.
If you have access to a legendary pokemon you like it is a fantastic idea to pick THAT as your carry! Almost all legendary pokemon will outperform non-legendary pokemon, even if they do not have access to a move that can hit both opponents, or don’t learn many useful moves in the lower levels. As long as you combine your carry with the strategies discussed in this guide. It does not matter what the type is. However the preference is Special Attackers over Physical Attackers, as physical attackers are more prone to getting decreased stats in battle and there are more pokemons with a high defense stat than a high special defense stat. My advice is to pick your favourite special attacker pokemon that you have access to, that also has good base stats and IVs. The main reason why we want to capture every pokemon that has good base stats or access to abilities is to further improve its IVs. In addition to unlocking the pokemon’s best in slot nature and abilities. If your pokemon of choice does not have a good nature, do not worry. It is very easy to change its nature using the nature mint items that can show up in the shop (they are ultra ball tier). If you start with a carry that does not have its best in slot nature available you want to prioritize getting the right nature over any other ultra ball tier item. When you start building your team you can toggle between its natures and ability in the starter select screen. This option becomes available when you have multiple unlocked *show an example*, be sure to take the best one of each for the pokemon you pick as your carry. To check if your favourite pokemon has good base stats you want to refer to https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net (you can search for pokemons in the search bar at the top right corner of the page then scroll down to see its base stats).
Now that you have decided who your carry is going to be, who your pickup pokemon is going to be and hopefully also your pokerus pokemon, you can fill up the rest of your party with shiny pokemon.
Item prioritization: There are a lot of items to pick from so it can be really difficult to figure out what the best order of picking items is. As a rule of thumb you always want to prioritize: Big Nuggets and Relic Gold in the beginning stages of the run, or even small nuggets if you’re really tight on money. As you progress through the waves of endless you will get exponentially increasing amounts of money from these items. When you’re rich you’re winning, as it allows you to reroll to items that you’re looking for once you obtain the ‘’Lock Capsule’’. Whenever you find this item PICK IT! Even if you have to choose between a ‘’Shiny Charm’’ and the capsule the capsule is more important! Once obtained and if you don’t mind resetting (even if you do mind, it is essential if you’re looking to get to the mid/end game of endless) you can reset your encounter by refreshing the page in the shop by pressing F5. Keep using different combinations of locking reroll to switch up the RNG and fish for items you need.
In the beginning of the guide I explained why pickup is so good. However there is an item in the game that is even better than the pickup ability. This is the ‘’Mini Black Hole’’, which steals one held item from the foe every single turn with 100% success. This can even steal vitamins unlike pickup, and thus it makes it easier to max out your carry with vitamins.
All you should care about in the early waves is experience. Be sure to ALWAYS grab exp charms and super exp charms and last but not least the Exp. Share all item. Rare and rarer candy is not going to do much for you until you have obtained a couple of Candy Jars. If these happen to be the best item choice and you do somehow manage to pick up a lot of Candy Jars very early on it can be an idea to pick some rare candies here and there. It is important to know that rare candy and rarer candy can level up your pokemon over the level cap. In the later stages of endless you are going to be waaaaay higher level than your foes.
The next layer of item acquisition are Grip Claw’s. You put these on your carry to add yet another 10% chance per attack to steal an item from your foe. You can have up to 5 Grip Claw’s for a total 50% chance. Grip Claw can be especially good on a carry that utilizes multi-hit moves. These are usually pokemon with the ability Skill-Link, which always make them hit the maximum possible amount of hits a move can do. More on this later as it is a potential late game strategy, but for now we focus on making it to wave 2000+
Almost equally important are ‘’Amulet Coins’’, a rogue tier item that increases your money rewards by 20%. You can have up to a maximum of 5 which increases all the money you gain by 100%. A little less important but a certain priority for the early game is the ‘’Golden Punch’’ which you want to apply to your carry so it earns 50% of the damage it deals as money. You can have a total of 5 to get 250% of damage dealt in your bank account every time you hit! These are a lot easier to come by than the amulet coins as they are the ultra ball tier which is one item tier lower than the amulet coin.
If a master ball presents itself and you have none of them yet it is always a good idea to pick up one as it will guarantee that you can capture a shiny or legendary pokemon once you run into one.
When you have all your finances in check and it becomes easy to reroll on every wave to fish for certain items it’s time to get the real goods.
If you feel like your carry is struggling (and even if you don’t you want to pick up these items regardless) you want to prioritize the following items in order: Berry Pouch: A 33% chance per berry pouch to keep your berry when its consumed (max 3 for a total of 99% chance to not consume berries, close enough to infinite) Focus Band: 10% chance to survive any hit that would kill you (max 5) Leftovers: which heals you every turn (max 4). Shell Bell: more self healing every turn (max 4) King’s Rock for 10% flinch chance (max 5). Wide Lens: increases move accuracy with 5% per stack (can stack up to however many makes it so all the moves on a mon are 100% accuracy). When you have a significant amount of the self healing items Healing Charm: 10% increased healing from any source becomes very good!
When you have the lock capsule you want to prioritize the following items in the following order: Shiny Charm (getting shinies is the bread and butter of PokeRogue remember?) > If you already have the best in slot nature for your carry pokemon take Soul Dew: Increases the effectiveness of your pokemons nature by 10% (max 10). If you do not have the best in slot nature for your carry pokemon it is essential to fish for Nature Mints (Ultra ball item that lets you change a pokemons nature) > Last but not least take the Hidden Ability charms (it is always nice to catch more pokemon with hidden abilities, however keep in mind that this also makes some of the battles more difficult!)
Other than the Lock Capsule and Amulet coins being a must pick whenever they appear, all the other important items are best picked up whenever they present themselves, you will not be able to just fish for one single item until you are very deep in endless and have a lot of money, every run is going to look completely different and the best you can do is balance it out and see what you need. The best this guide can do is form a baseline and make you understand why certain items are so important.
Remember how I told you not to take the Terra Orb. If you are on your way and cruising through the waves and are getting close to maxing out your carry with vitamins, you DO want to pick it up to thin the item pool. There are NO more items in the great ball tier that are going to help you (except for maybe a TM in a very specific situation). So you want to increase your odds of getting a good item from the ultra balls.
Items you NEVER want to pick are the EXP balance items. All it does is take away experience from your carry and makes it harder to keep your carry at the level cap. Terra Orb is also going to do nothing for you and it will make terra shards pop up in the shop, lowering your odds of getting valuable vitamins from the great ball tier. Last but not least I advice not to pick up ‘IV Scanner’ as it is a chore to have to press an extra two buttons every wave and you’re better of playing faster. If you don’t care about this and you find knowing the IV’s of your foe important, you could pick it up. Another positive thing about picking it up is that it removes the item from the item pool so it might show something more useful instead such as a ‘’Rarer Candy’’ or a ‘’Max Lure’’.
Another item you should not sleep on is the Multi-Lens which can help you inflict multiple hits which combine really well with a move that can make the foe flinch for example. In an ideal scenario you have a mon with the ability: Skill-Link which makes multi-hit moves always hit their maximum amount of times. This pairs really well with Kings Rock.
When you are cruising on your way to wave 200 you are not going to reroll much for items as you do not have that much money, when you have made it to about wave 200+ and your carry is at the level cap you should be good to go for a long time.
At this point it becomes very important to pick up Candy Jars which increase the level rare candies and rarer candies give by 1 for each candy jar. At the maximum of 99 candy jars you will be able to gain 100 levels per candy. Investing candies in your carry and making sure you are well above the waves level cap will eventually get you to wave 2000-2500. Candy Jars are something you always want to pick up if you don’t have much money or the other options are the lesser ones.
When you have made it to wave 1250-1750 you should have been able to max out your shiny charms and have a carry that can seamlessly deal with everything that’s thrown at it. If this is the case it becomes very important to always stack up 4-5 ‘’Max Lures’’ so you always run into double battles which essentially doubles the odds of finding shiny and legendary pokemon. In addition to that this is about the point in your run you want to also focus on stacking up master balls, so you can easily capture whatever you need.
After this point a lot of carry’s start to fall off and you need to change strategy. This is namely because as anything in endless mode, tokens also increase exponentially and at this point most foe’s will simply one-shot your carry with each and any move. There are certain fusions between two very strong legendary pokemon that can still hold up at this point, but its unlikely you have access to these. An example of this would be Zacian + Kartana. With a moveset of Night Slash, Sacred Sword, Behemoth Blade and Swords Dance. It is VERY IMPORANT to hold on to your original carry, as it will help you in double battles and you want to always prioritize rarer candies over normal rare candy, because having a backup carry can be essential in tough battles!
After wave 3000 it is very likely that your foe will also heal back to full HP if it endures your hit, so the only viable option to win the wave is to be able to one-shot your opponent. You do this by constantly taking damage using your berries to get to stat stage 6.
There are multiple strategies you can apply to make it to the ‘endgame’ of endless. However I will be teaching you the one I am using, as it is very accessible and very likely you are able to set it up during your run if you made it to wave 1000+. My strategy is a maxed out Garnacl fused with Archaludon. It has the ability sturdy from Garnacl which makes it so it can always survive any damage as long as its HP is full. However do note that you can still die to multi-hit moves from foes. This is why its so important to max out those 5 focus bands on your carry, so you always have a 50% chance to survive a hit on 1 HP. When running into tough fights don’t give up if the foe has something that can kill your carry. Try different rotation’s of move’s and switching your teams pokemon’s. This will change up the RNG of the game (the same principle applies to item rerolling). Sometimes it can take a while to find the rotation that will win you the fight, just don’t give up too easily!
The steel type from Archaludion gives it access to the move ‘’Metal Burst’’. Which will retaliate 150% of the damage it took from its foe. You can see how this works well with sturdy. As it will always retaliate the maximum amount of damage. With maxed out items you will always heal back to full from 1hp when being hit by a super effective move. If you are hit by a neutral or not very effective move you won’t heal back to full. To make sure we can always heal back to full so sturdy can proc we also have the move Protect in the move set.
Unfortunately neither Garnacl nor Archaludon learns protect naturally, so we will have to pick it up from the shop. It is a normal pokeball tier rarity, however there are a lot of TM’s available in the shop so it can take a while to find it. In addition to Metal Burst and Protection we use Garnacl Signature move ‘’Salt Cure’’ to help us outpace the healing of the foe. Use Memory Mushrooms to get Salt Cure and Metal Burst on your fusion. It is important to know that Metal Burst does not scale its damage with a pokemons attack stat, or any damage scaling items for that matter. The only thing Metal Burst cares about is a pokemons HP. The more HP the more damage potential Metal Burst has.
Note that you can use any steel type mon for this strategy, but the Garnacl is a requirement as it is the only pokemon that has access to the move Salt Cure. In fact it is actually a better idea to use a steel type that already has sturdy (note: Archaludon can also have sturdy as its ability). So you can unfuse it after you fused it with Garnacl and learned Salt Cure on it. Then you can fuse it again with a very bulky pokemon such as Blissey. A pokemon keeps its moveset and ability after unsplicing. You will always lose the second pokemon that was used in the fusion when unsplicing.
Now that your Archanacl or fusion of your own choice is ready to rock and roll make sure that it is maxed out on all the healing items, focus bands and soul dew. We want a nature on our fusion that has negative speed and positive anything (does not matter what it is). With 10 soul dew this will make it so the pokemon has a speed stat of 1. Which is exactly what we want because we want to ensure that Metal Burst acts last as often as possible, as the move will fail if you have not taken any damage. One more thing to boost your sturdy steel burst fusion with is PP max items. You want to max out the PP of your metal burst and protect, as its possible you run into an inescapable foe that has the ability: ‘’Unnerve’’. Which makes it so you cannot eat any berries.

Another pokemon that can help you a lot on your runs is a fairy type that has access to the move ‘’Misty Terrain’’. As status conditions ramp up in the late game. For example a foggy terrain give your mons a massive accuracy decrease which is terrible and can be removed if you have Misty Terrain. Similar and even better is having a fairy type with the ability ‘’Misty Surge’’. This pokemon will set Misty Terrain the moment they enter the battlefield so it doesn’t have to outspeed the foe in order to work.
Another Pokémon that will help you massively in your Endless Run. And that is any good grass Pokémon that learns the move Leech Seed. Preferably also fused with a pokemon that can learn Soak. In tough battles you would open with your Leech Seed setter, by soaking the foe (turning it into a water-type) and then leech seeding. After that you switch into your Metal Burst fusion and use Salt Cure. Then it becomes a game of switching between Metal Burst and Protect. You can make your leech seed setter fusion even better by refusing it with a Shedninja to give it Wonder Guard (can only be hit by super effective moves). However Wonder Guard is not that good as most of the paradox pokemon you will run into every 50 waves usually have access to at least 3 different types. So make your choice. I would say Wonder Guard is only slightly better than having a sturdy leech seed setter.
Last but not least it can be helpful to have a strong and fast pokemon that has a move with an innate flinch chance. Such as Metagross with Zen Headbutt which has a 20% chance to flinch on hit. Maxing out 3 Kings Rocks for an additional 30% chance to flinch on hit and combining this with 3 Multi Lenses makes it almost a 100% chance to flinch the foe on hit. This can help you out when trying to set up leech seed in double battles. Namely for the double paradox encounters which can be really tough in later stages of endless mode.
Having followed everything in the guide will set you up for success. However it is important to understand that PokeRogue is a game heavily influenced by RNG, and sometimes even the best strategy is going to make you run into a brick wall. Much luck on your runs and feel free to ask any questions if something in this guide is not clear to you or if you are not sure if you understand something correctly.
Now that you have learned how to build your party, how to prioritize items in the early and mid game, use and apply meta strategies and all the mechanics of endless there are only a couple of things left to talk about that are important to know. One of those is the preparation for bossfights. An item you always want to have on your two carry pokemon is ‘’Reviver Seed’’ this gives your pokemon a second life as it will heal to 50% HP on death. It is very important to ALWAYS CHECK your pokemon’s items several waves before you have a paradox or eternatus encounter. This is also a great time to see if you can move some items around (such as damage boosting items and or berries). All these little things add up and they can decide the tide of battle for you!
Now last but not least you should know which pokemon’s pose the biggest threat to you and your team if you use the strategy discussed in this guide. Some encounters are an absolute pain or even impossible to win. This is where you should use your run-away pokemon to make a safe get away, or throw a masterball and straight up capture your threat. However you can’t do this in paradox and eternatus waves. These threats are: Multi Hit moves from the opponent (able to break through your sturdy). Fog setters (a very heavy accuracy decrease can be deadly). Pokemons that inflict damage on your turn rather than their turn. An example of this would be ‘’Future Sight’’ which deals damage two turns after its used. And in general any double battle can be a pain if both opposing pokemons target your sturdy metal burst fusion, two hits means you only survive if your focus bands proc. As mentioned earlier in the guide the ability ‘’Unnerve’’ can also be deadly as you are unable to eat any berries you can’t get to stat stage 6 nor can you heal your non-volatile status effects automatically with berries. This is why ideally you also have that Misty Terrain / Misty Surge pokemon ready, which removes the need to rely on the status healing berries.
Something we have not covered in the guide at all are pokemon passives. Which are unique to PokeRogue. They essentially are a second ability and if you have any of them unlocked for your starting party this is amazing! The passives are unlocked through pokemon candy. Candy is obtained by playing the game with your favourite pokemons in your party and this process can be sped up by taking the ‘’Soothing Bell’’ item. Feel free to figure out a good passive that would compliment any of the strategy discussed in this guide. Personally I did not have any passive available when starting my endless run that made it to 5850 (which is the final wave you can get to in Endless as the game crashes currently when you try to go to wave 5851). Endless is going to be updated and overhauled, but before this happens, this guide should serve as a great foundation of meta strategy.

Now i know what you're probably thinking "Ah shit, here we go again" but bear with me for a moment.
These past month or so there has been a larger than usual amount of post where the main point of debate was the power of the Touhou cast and while discussions where heated for all sides there was a trend i noticed that catched my interest: People seem to ger very defensive when high power levels for the characters are implied! From over the top arguments and theories to simply repeating things that have been stated in canon before, i've never seen a community so vehemently maintain that their series and characters are more grounded and weaker than what is being implied. Which in a series with so much uhninged and ridiculous things as Touhou drawing the line at strong characters is funny to me, but that's besides the point.
Few other subjects of discussion face so much dispute as far as i've seen, with some people claiming that it's one of the things they hate the most about Touhou, and a sizable number of others agreeing with them. Of course, there's nothing wrong with that, but some of the most common reasons given for this stood out to me for various reasons:

• The series focus isn't built around that.

Neither is shipping, tragedy or stories that largely change the status quo, but those are things that people don't have issues with nearly as often. In fact, i would say that power discussions have more to do with Touhou than those, considering that fighting is the 2nd most common activity in the series only behind drinking alcohol.

• The spellcard rules make it impossible to accurately gauge how strong the characters are.

It's pretty easy to realize why people think like this, because there isn't much information about what the spellcard rules actually entail save from 2 drafts that we know of that are open to modification should ZUN feel like it. We know their purpose is to prevent needless bloodshed by having honorable duels that are not to the death and giving everyone a chance at winning no matter the difference in power. But the actual mechanics to achieve that don't involve making attacks incapable of hurting nor making death impossible. The rules state that all attacks must have meaning, said meaning becomes the power of the attack, it must be beatable so instant win moves are forbidden, you must declare the number of attacks you'll use at the start, and should all your attacks be beaten you must concede defeat even if you have strength left.
One could argue that "the meaning becomes the strength of the attack" means that it's strength is unclear since it can be abstract, But the meaning in this case i think refers to the design and pattern of the attack rather than it's power, considering that Junko's danmaku has the meaning of "I literally just want to kill you" and Marisa's motto is "Danmaku is all about fire power", both characters being incredibly strong.
I usually compare a spell card duel to a profesional boxing or karate match; there are rules that dictate what you can and cannot do, what your attacks have to be like and you're prohibited from killing your opponent, but that doesn't mean that you aren't trying to punch the other person as hard as you can or that accidents can't happen.

• The characters abilities are too vague/ we don't know how they work.

This to me just sounds as if they haven't read or paid enough attention to official material, because there's so much information about the different abilities that characters, species, magic systems and other such things in the series. Sure we don't know the top ceiling or full extent of most characters powers, but that doesn't mean we don't know anything about their minimum or bottom ceiling to the point where we are incapable of considering uses or applications for their skills.
Once again I must repeat myself, this isn't to say that you can't dislike such discussions or that you must agree with everything other people say, not at all. But to me these reasons just sound like excuses people make to justify their disdain while putting other people's opinions down instead of just being honest about not liking it or disagreeing with it.
So i want to see what people's thoughts are; why do you like, dislike or don't care about the subject. And remember to go in with an open mind and keep things civil, no need to be at each other's throats more than we already are with this subject.

Essence Of The Magus. (Nasuverse) • It's a beautiful multicolored liquid that, despite everything, keeps changing to new and innovative colors never seen before, it's very mysterious. • You have a natural body, this means that you are the pinnacle of what the human body has to offer in all its shapes and sizes, you are beautiful and as time goes by those traits will only improve, whether you want the strong beauty of muscles or the very delicacy and fragility of a lily, this will be inclined to your desires and requests, so you will undoubtedly be beautiful to your own preferences and desires, even affect the color of your hair or how your eyes will be, and all this without lowering the capabilities of the human body, with reflexes and senses superior to anyone else, your body is the pinnacle and is always improving to reach new heights, this will always be naturally so no one will suspect anything, everything is decided if you want to stay as you are or become the summit of the body of the human being. • You will always be seen in full elegance, maintaining unparalleled grace and balance, you could be associated with a machine before such a detailed display of pinpoint accuracy, you are graceful and gifted with an overwhelming presence and unmatched charisma, expect to have many admirers unless you voluntarily turn it off or mitigate it, and if you consciously use it to its full force don't expect there will be anyone with enough willpower to resist you, you are nobility in every concept of the word, maybe you will get some title like Lorelei Barthomeloi and her title of 'The Queen Of The Clock Tower' or 'The Queen' for short. • Furthermore, you have what would poetically be called 'The Will To Shatter The Stars'. There is no difficulty, no degree of opposition and no level of pain or suffering that can intimidate your intentions, once you make up your mind about something. You can do this all day long and never stop doing it, except by your own conscious choice. Forget mere 'maximum human' willpower, you are absolutely unbreakable. While remaining mentally flexible enough to not be a stubborn idiot, of course. • Your body can not be infected by any being, supernatural or not, you can not be controlled or damaged by both mental and spiritual means, your body is an immovable fortress, your mind to a library masterfully ordered and maintained, your soul is a perpetual sanctuary you can repeat as many times the change of body as Roa or do something with worms as Zouken and your soul will remain the same, you could say that it is a perfect soul for sorcery, beware, the third magic will be and will remain better by far, your soul is something that will remain the same in the face of the most extreme things, but it is not the true immortality that is the third magic, unless you dedicate your research skills to change that. • Mentally, you are able to modify and alter your mind, you can program your mind to react to whatever you want however you want, leaving mental triggers to move before they react is possible, molding it to create a disguise of some different personality is possible, you can even affect their feelings achieving a masterful mask, creating a state with a completely different personality and state of mind is easy, in case you are not sure how to mold your mind without changing you can leave safety countermeasures to go back to any previous state, if a certain thought or situation happens, you are a magician and as such, your masks to fool others are the best, if you use them wisely you could be in your best state to fight or go into a disguise that even Sherlock himself could not discover, this will not affect your will, and you cannot end up as a brain-dead fool by accident, unless that is your disguise. • A little advice, stay away from the eyes of Atlas, those alchemists will see the holy grail or the root itself, if they get to know what kind of body type you have, you will be a very wet dream for any of their researchers, they even have a motto that fits. “It's easy to get into Atlas, but impossible to get out.” • If I were you, I'd be careful with the gods, a body like yours would have them drooling or hating you, it's funny how you don't know which one is worse, it all depends on which gods notice you, god forbid, the Greeks, although they might not even come close because they're admiring you. • The reason for a mind like you have, is to hide the default personality you have as a magus, a cold being, without morals or ethics, who can do anything, this part of you will make the machines see you as the typical sentimental people, it doesn't take much to scare people in that state, people will wonder what the hell you are, what kind of being is hiding under that disguise of flesh you call skin, you can always change it if you want, although you can always hide it, your mind can never be taken advantage of by anyone other than you. • You can choose to have the potential to have true magic, you decide if you only want one or all five in total, you can decide if you want to reach them through research, that being the case you can get creative about how you carry out your research to play true magic, and, it can help you later, this is more of an option than anything else, if you want, you can appear as a user of the five true magics, although it is not said that there will be no questions of how the hell did that happen, you have a complete control of the true magics, and you know both its maximum capabilities and the smallest details about its operation. • The first magic “Denial Of Nothingness”: The first true magic, known as “The Denial Of Nothingness”, is related to the generation of an ether clusters, this includes the creation of matter and energy from nothing and the total destruction of matter and energy in nothing, the clusters of ether are conductors of magical energy. • The second magic “Kaleidoscope”: The second true magic, known as the ”Kaleidoscope” or the “Parallel Worlds Operation”, this includes traveling to alternate worlds, time travel, space-time manipulation and the ability to decide whether timelines are 'canon' or not, you can be creative how you use this, it's not too far-fetched to overlay different dimensions to play with the environment or use unlimited energy from all your universe versions to make a giant energy cannon, the only thing that What stops you is the creativity of how you could use it, you will have to be attentive because interacting with the dimensions and being able to observe everything that the multiverse can be, it can be a bit maddening, you will be protected in any way, but do not expect it to be a very happy, the dimensions have some that can make any person quite crazy, just look how his previous bearer was with the magical girls. • The third magic “Heaven's Feel”: The Third True Magic, known as the “Touch Of Heaven” or the “Manifestation Of The Soul”. This stops the inevitable dispersal of the soul once it no longer has an anchor in the world, and essentially causes it to transcend into a higher form of existence. It is a magic that realizes true immortality by turning the soul into a flat, high-dimensional being capable of interacting with the material world as a mental body without having to return to Akasha. (Credit goes to AcausalTrillby at fanfiction.net for the inspiration with his story called White Ink) • The fifth magic “Blue Magic”: The Fifth True Magic, known as the “Blue Magic” allows free manipulation of energy/heat without worrying about the order imposed by the arrow of time of thermodynamics (represented by the Second Law), and, thus leading in particular to time manipulation, as opposed to relativistic time travel, Aoko Aosaki managed to affect space-time with this magic, and you can too if you put your mind to it, just be careful you don't want to extinguish life on earth, right? • “The Sixth True Magic”: Currently non-existent, a path to the Root will be granted. You can get close to him, but you must not touch him. By doing so, you will gain access to a new True Magic. It is speculated that the Sixth True Magic might be a magic that can bring happiness to everyone. This may or may not be the case. The magic has to be something unattainable by mundane or thaumaturgical means, as long as those criteria are met you can create the sixth magic, since you are creating something new and not reusing the five magics, this will be the one with which you connect the most, don't get me wrong, if you choose any of the other five, you will have no limits or problems when handling it, in fact you could take it to heights never seen before, only this being your creation, you will be more connected and you, and only you will be the person capable of using it, you are the creator of the sixth magic be proud. • Note something, the first, and fifth are similar in that a path to the root, an Akasha gate, originated and magic was obtained upon its arrival, while the second, third, and fourth were produced as a half to get to that place, however insignificant it may sound to some, this has its own weight in how your magic interacts with you, you may be able to touch or see the path to the Root, or you may try to recreate the means to reach the Root, be careful with that, people smarter than you tried, and they didn't end very well. • It can be said that magicians have become the adversaries of the planet, and by having magic, as redundant as it sounds, you have become a magician, something that the human mind would not normally be able to carry as a burden. Carrying such a power is the recklessness of changing the world, as such, from the moment you obtain true magic, you are destined to go through great things or most likely to affect the entire world, whether the change is good or bad, it will depend on what you decide. • Becoming a magician is something that must be thought carefully, it is a mantle, and it is raw power that will undoubtedly affect how you see the world or how the world sees you, you are entering forbidden territory for human hands, it is the land of gods, so unless you want to fight against gods or planets, think about it a bit before making your choice, and of course, you have some duties with humanity, it's not mandatory, but you can at least look at them once or twice, so they don't get killed or end up committing suicide. • You can grant one magic per person by creating five or six wizards who will be loyal to you until death, you can remove that magic whenever you want and however you want, although at least tell them what you are giving them, you do not want extradimensional accidents or extinction of life on earth, you can always decide to ignore this advice and have fun with the results. • You are by far the most talented and predisposed being to magic, your talent, ingenuity, and creativity have no comparison, your sense, and intuition regarding magecraft is undoubtedly superior, your mind has a library with all the magical knowledge of the entire verse from TYPE-MOON, whatever reality it is, it can be a bit overwhelming, but you get used to it, god forbid you can follow in the footsteps of Lorelei and focus on basic magecraft or some specific theme and develop it so much that you become the Bruce Lee of magic with 'Repeat a kick a thousand times', of course with your talent that can reach true magic levels very quickly, with any magic. • You can connect and adapt to any existing thaumaturgical foundation, yes, that includes the church, this would allow you to use any existing spell as long as you are connected to the foundation of that respective spell, be it sorcery, from Chinese philosophy magecraft, traditional Japanese magecraft and of course the one practiced by the clock tower, there is no foundation that you do not know and to which you cannot connect, if you do not like any, you can create your own thaumaturgical foundation with the rules and implications that you want and although technically it would be impossible, your own willpower is enough to maintain that foundation, if you decide to make that foundation your primary method of practicing magic, with your willpower involved, believe me, there will be no end to how strong you can become, and that applies to every foundation you connect to, you can revive a foundation on the verge of death to its best moment and take it to something much better. • Established and long-standing foundations will be more likely to connect and improve, they may not be as versatile, focusing only on their field as the church that is dedicated to something more spiritual, so be aware that you would spend a lot of time and resources originating a new foundation that connecting and empowering an existing one, each one has its cons and its pluses. • As a great magus you don't always have to depend on a large mound of magic circuits for everything, you can use the quantifiable energy of the Soul; the pseudo-spiritrons to design organisms or stronger objects, as the alchemists of Atlas do, you can also be like hackers and enter the network practicing their code-cast method, whenever you cannot or do not want to use your magic circuits you will find another way to practice sorcery, very well you can practice some method of “Walk and Breathe” to try to become a Xian, whatever method you choose you can take it to unimaginable heights without relying on your magic circuits, and with your talent you can do wonders. • It is true that you can work without magic circuits, you could very well become the best spell caster without even using them even once in your life, but it is better to use every resource you have and magic circuits are part of those resources, your circuits are special, unique in its kind, you will start with fifty magic circuits “Blue Bloods: Noble Magic Circuits”, being the best of the best, what differentiates it from the others is that your magic circuits are improved and shaped the more you use them, these circuits they will grow, improve and multiply, the very environment where you are will affect them and will affect their growth, they may become a “Magic Nucleus” or for some strange reason a “Magic Reactor”, there is also the possibility of becoming “Regression to the Age of Gods”. It is the driving force that comes from within the Root, which has managed to sprout from the Source and take material form, but you can change it, unlike other people you can trace your origin to the Root and exchange it for something that is more convenient, ok to see changes, so you will have to be careful, but at least you can change it for anything you want, be it creature, emotion or concept, you can even keep several at the same time, although you would have to be careful, the origin may end waking up if you swap it too much or if you have several, and they manage to sync up, you're a never-before-seen case, so crazy things can happen. • If a person ends up awakening their Origin, it becomes nearly impossible to deviate from their Origin, if even possible in the first place. Edit 2: thanks for everybody's help. I never got it, just went and resisted anyway. Then saw Sheart's Act 3 DJ content for the first time (actually the first time I've ever saved her family since the death choice is automatically bad). It was cool and touching and the fight was easier broken up into two parts.
Then I put that Durge run to rest as it wasn't really clicking with me. Now I'm starting a run as a tempest cleric whose motto is YOLO. We'll see how it goes. 😏

I had been in X-Ray since 1991 and Nuc Med since 2003 and have loved helping my patients and most of the job. I have seen creeping regulation and increasingly draconian insurance requirements ruin medicine in general and Nuc Med in particular. Once, a Doctor's order was enough to guarantee an exam; now they are denied or de-escalated to a lesser exam or worse, charged to the patient as an increased fee. My hospital has been through many Corporate hands and each successive one has made it more difficult for the employee and the patients. Now, the culture of the staff is such that they snipe and undercut each other, clinging to small cliques and making others miserable. Departments resent each other for staffing and equipment. Our Emergency Department and our Hospitalists are over-ordering exams out of what seems to be a fear of diagnosing or being sued for missing something. I optimistically hope it isn't to pad the bill. I was going to wait another 9 months, but the last straw fell on my back last week and I had that conversation with my Director, a good and honorable person whom I respect, and after an hour, I handed in my badge and keys. I was the head of Nuclear Medicine and was so proud of all of the work we have done and of my department. Never lost a patient; had a ton of Good Catches. Never failed an inspection. Became known in the community as "The Nice Ones" and was loved by my young and the elderly patients. Docs knew to call me if they needed something done and like many of you guys, my motto was, "Not a problem. We can make that happen!" I attended to all of the tedious RSO stuff so our Radiologist only had to review and sign it. Oh and the countless Monthly, Quarterly, Annual reports, briefs, filings, etc. that all of us have to get right. You have to keep the mechanism all working smoothly every day for 21 years and you did it. Working call, holidays, missing family things, you did it. Working X-Ray through Covid; I still get flashbacks to that horrible time. You drank a ton of coffee and ate a lot of cafeteria food. The place gave me a heart attack and your own Cardiologist stented you because he and your Cath Lab crew were the best G-Damn crew in the world and you trusted them. Your knees are shot from walking on concrete tiled floors, your Rotator cuff has been repaired from dragging heavy patients onto your scan table and your legs and feet ache every night after a 10 hour shift. I am now, as of 1000 hrs on May 22 officially "Done Nuking". Thank God. Social Security, Medicare and 401k will support me now and I will miss all of you guys, but for the last 4 days it has felt like a weight has been lifted off of me. I sleep until I feel like getting up. I don't think about the coming week or what has to be done for the next 4 Big Things next week. I'm going to get up tomorrow and sit in the back yard and watch the birds and drink my coffee and think about all of my Nuclear Medicine Sisters and Brothers and I will always salute the work you do. I have a job and a degree but i dont want to keep living.
Im living paycheck to paycheck and realized that if nothing special happens or if my hustles dont make me rich then id just be doing my "9-5" job.
I dont want to keep living because as long as i live, i know that id have to keep working and the work im doing isnt something i like.
Ive already worked for multiple companies and done hustles but all of them wasnt something i liked doing. I just do it for the money.
Why am i living?
Just the motto that quitters never win..
So just keep on fighting.
The only things that i like doing doesnt give me money at least at the moment since things like music or my other hobbies doesnt really pay the bills immediately. Stuff like these requires hustle on the side while doing a 9-5 to build the progress until it becomes a viable source of income.
So basically id need to be working at my current job which i dont like and which i find tiring/suffering
As long as i dont get to do the things that i like doing, ill feel like life is suffering.
I am aware life for men isnt supposed to be happy or suffering-free.
So its either i accept that life is a man will be suffering and the pursuit to overcoming all problems OR i just end myself altogether
I could live for my family but my family is also becoming a burden and im kinda like the breadwinner now so thats out of the question
