I punched the holes but with the binder metal part in the wrong position, so the holes now look off center

The journal is for a tabletop game kinda like Final Fantasy (if you're not familiar, think traditional fantasy but more cartoony, magic, sometimes tech), but just for note taking not LARPing or anything. My thoughts are:
- Put a second set of holes next to it and make an X with thin leather straps so it's like a hand hold/grip
- Concern here is - will the paper lie flat to write?

- Rivets. Rivets everywhere
- Lean into it - battle damage?

TL:DR: I bought a brand new travel trailer straight from the place of manufacture in another state, and noticed concerning fiberglass damage almost immediately after purchasing. The company has been terrible about honoring their repair warranty, not responding to emails or phone calls and ultimately rejecting a reasonable quote I got from a reputable third-party technician in my own state to perform the repair. I wrote a negative review on their Google page detailing my experience in an effort to get their attention and filed a complaint through BBB since they have the endorsement on their website. They wrote me back on BBB accusing me of performing an unauthorized repair and breaching their warranty contract (even though I haven't paid for or enacted any repairs, it's still broken; I've only provided them repair quotes as requested), but said they decided to reimburse me for the repair anyway despite the nonexistent "breach" and wished me the best. However, the same rep also privately emailed me on the side, informing me that they would not, in fact, be reimbursing me at all until I completely removed my Google/BBB complaints against them. It's weird to me that they're making honoring the warranty repair contingent upon my Google/BBB complaints being removed first, isn't that a violation of CRFA? The rep also incorrectly "reminded" me twice that I had violated their warranty agreement by performing unauthorized repairs on my trailer (I haven't), even though all I have done is provide them with a quote for repairs which have not even been scheduled let alone completed because they rejected the quote. Not sure what to do, I regret the whole purchase, and wondering if I should get a lawyer before things get any worse. It's a $35,000 trailer, first new thing I've ever purchased.

I'm a disabled veteran. I wanted to get a brand new all-fiberglass travel trailer because I've gotten to the point where physically, I'm not in the best of shape to be tinkering on used vehicles anymore. I purchased a brand new travel trailer and picked it up straight from the manufacturing plant about two months ago (customary for this seemingly reputable company since they are small and don't have dealerships). That night at my first campsite only 20 miles down the road, I noticed a small but deep open crack in the fiberglass/ gel coat wet bath surround hidden behind a vent pipe. It looked like it had occurred during construction. This was concerning to see on a brand new trailer. I'm a former aircraft technician and have been around/worked on boats for a long time so I know if you don't fix fiberglass/ gel coat cracks quickly/ properly they tend to grow. Also if I plan to resell the RV in the next few years this definitely decreases the resale value. The company was closed for the following week and I lived in another state halfway across the country, I couldn't afford to wait for them to reopen to have it addressed on-site. I also was not terribly concerned about the repair itself because I was assured by the warranty I signed that I could get a quote from a third party technician in my hometown and have it authorized/reimbursed by the manufacturer if I ran into any issues.
I filed a repair request as soon as I got home and they called me and told me I should just put some silicone over the crack to hide it. I told them that simply was not satisfactory and they told me to go get an inspection and quote by a fiberglass technician of my choosing and send them the results of the inspection/quote in accordance with their warranty. There are only 2 in my vicinity, both of which are reputable and graciously did the appointment, inspection and quote at no charge. The first one said he wouldn't touch it for less than $5000 and that as far as he was concerned, the manufacturer owed me an entire new bathroom surround due to the potential for the repair being a weak spot that would cause additional fiberglass problems in the future. The second technician was a bit wary but said he felt confident in his ability to fix it properly via stop-drill, structural reinforcement and gel coat reapplication. He gave me a quote for around $900 to send to the manufacturer for authorization. Meanwhile I was trying to communicate with the manufacturer, who ignored my emails and phone calls for weeks with no response, including requests for amplifying info on behalf of the technicians concerning what materials were used so they could provide a more accurate quote.
I sent them the quote for $900 since I figured they wouldn't take the first technician's quote, and the manufacturer rejected it because they think it should only be a 2 hour job based on the photos I sent them and the technician quoted for 4 hrs of labor which, based on my own experience with fiberglass, and the time the technician already has setting up the appointment, inspection, calculating the quote etc. is far more than reasonable, but they contacted the technician who stood his ground and they rejected the quote anyway.
At this point I had been dealing (politely and professionally) with these shady people for almost 2 months and still wasn't getting anywhere so I left a one-star review on Google detailing my negative experience with them in hopes of getting their attention, and also filed a BBB complaint since they have a BBB endorsement on their website, providing all of the receipts and copies of the communication, the quote, contact info for the technicians, etc. Today they got back with me on BBB and accused me of having an unauthorized repair performed on my trailer (which if you've read this far, you know I haven't paid for or had anything fixed yet and had made that clear in my communication with them) but said that they were more than happy to process the repair reimbursement anyway and happily wished me the best of luck with my trailer as though it was a closed case. I have yet to respond.
However, the same rep also emailed me privately on the side saying that they would *not* in fact reimburse the "unauthorized" warranty repair unless I first removed my negative reviews from BBB and from Google. They also "reminded" me twice in the email that they had my signatures on the warranty paperwork agreeing that I would not get my trailer repaired without prior quote authorization and I violated that, and that they would be doing me a favor by reimbursing me at all at this point (only after I removed my negative reviews of course) even though I had breached the warranty agreement.
Clearly whoever sent me this email didn't look closely enough to see I haven't gotten any repairs done, only quotes for the repair as requested. No way I'm getting stuck with a bill of any sort for something that is their responsibility to fix until I have been assured beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are going to reimburse me for it.
So what the hell should I do? At this point these people have proven themselves to be incredibly shady and I'm beginning to wonder what else is seriously wrong with my brand new trailer, as multiple other minor issues have popped up as well due to really bad QC. It's also just weird to me that they're making honoring the warranty repair contingent upon my Google/BBB complaints being removed first. At this point I don't even really want the trailer anymore and regret the whole purchase. The whole situation has me sketched out and I'm wondering if I should just stop and get a lawyer now.

We pick up following Money in the Bank 2014, with John Cena having successfully won his ninth World Championship in WWE - and even more importantly, his seventeenth World Championship overall - after an absolutely dismal start to the year. Having gone six straight PPVs without a win, it was in his hometown of Boston where his rebound began, but now, itās the hard partā¦ keeping the gold on his shoulders, and the crown on his head.
Road to SummerSlam 2014
With Cena now holding the WWEās top prize for the ninth time, heās got a murdererās row of challengers who want a piece of him. First amongst them is Samoa Joe, who gets into a verbal spat with Cena saying heās beaten him time and time again, including on two straight PPVs before Money in the Bank, but itās Cesaro who shockingly makes his case by laying out Joe with an uppercut and demanding a shot not at SummerSlam, but in the Raw main event.
WWE World Heavyweight Title: John Cena (c) vs. Cesaro
Cena accepts, and, under Heymanās tutelage, Cesaro very nearly captures the goldā¦ but itās not quite enough, with Cena delivering a tremendous Attitude Adjustment for the win after a fantastic bout.

Crestfallen, Cesaro walks off with Heyman, but Paul stops him at the top of the ramp, grabbing a microphone. He says that he wants the championship removed from Cenaās waist, and he wants it done by one of his own - so if it wonāt be Cesaro, itāll have to be someone else. Out comes Brock Lesnar, standing toe-to-toe with Cesaroā¦ AND LEVELING HIM WITH A CLOTHESLINE BEFORE MAKING HIS WAY DOWN TO DUKE IT OUT WITH CENA! CESAROāS BEEN EXPELLED FROM HEYMANāS CLAN, AND THE BEAST IS BACK FOR JOHN CENAāS CHAMPIONSHIP AT SUMMERSLAM! The next few weeks see a contract signing turn violent, with Lesnar decimating Cena with an F-5, and Rollins attempting a cash-in, only to be stopped by Dean Ambrose. However, Cenaās certainly in a dangerous position as he makes his way into his third SummerSlam main event, weary of all the enemies heās made and all they could do to ruin this reign.

WWE World Heavyweight Title: John Cena (c) vs. Brock Lesnar
John Cena doesnāt have to wait long, and he really shouldnāt have bothered worrying about those additional enemies, because this is a slaughter. Lesnar backs him into the corner and immediately nails an F-5 for a nearfall, and it doesnāt get any better for the champion. Thereās no hope spot. Thereās no Attitude Adjustment reversal. Thereās no STF, no Five Knuckle Shuffle, no nothing - Cena delivers a lariat to knock Lesnar down, and then he eats a German Suplex. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. Thatās sixteen, and you know what, weāll make it seventeen for good measure, followed by an F-5. One. Two. Three.

Road to Hell in a Cell 2014
With Lesnar having dominated Cena so handily, John takes a few weeks off, returning at Night of Champions to return the favour for Dean Ambrose by helping him out against Seth Rollins in a wild brawl, leading to a tense staredown between the two. In the main event, Brock Lesnar defeats Cesaro in a barnburner, where Cesaro gets plenty more offense in than Cena, causing John to wonder if he even deserves an automatic rematch - so he insists on earning it once news gets out that Brock wonāt be at Hell in a Cell. Seth Rollins also wants a shot, as does Randy Orton, leading the Authority to announce a massive clusterfuck of a main event for Hell in a Cell - a fatal four way within the confines of Hell in a Cell itself, pitting Cena against Orton, Rollins and Ambrose, with the winner going on to face Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. The buildup sees Orton and Cena go down memory lane over their feud, both men chomping at the bit to tear into one another, while Ambrose discusses his distaste for all that Cena represents - but he says his primary objective is taking out Seth Rollins for good.

Hell in a Cell Match for the Number One Contendership to the WWE World Heavyweight Title: John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins
Cena and Orton hate each other, Ambrose and Rollins hate each other, Ambrose and Cena donāt get along, Rollins and Orton are tensely duelling over the top spot in the Authorityās lineup, and weāre in for an explosive match. Itās a grisly affair early, with the cage coming into play and tearing flesh, bruising bone. Ambrose tosses Rollins off the side of the Cell, J&J Security die, Ambrose and Cena brawl, Orton delivers a few RKOs, and Cena puts the Viper through a table with an AVALANCHE ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT! ONE! TWO! THRE-AMBROSE BREAKS IT UP! Dean goes for Dirty Deeds, Cena scooping him up into position for an Attitude Adjustment, but Ambrose slides off and NAILS A KNEE TREMBLER, ONLY TO EAT A SUPERKICK FROM A RETURNING ROLLINS! CURB STOMP! ONE! TWO! THRE-CENA WITH THE LAST SECOND SAVE! Seth starts beating down Cena, ushering new Authority ally Rusev into the ring and insisting he help, which he does. Then, Seth directs the assault on Ambrose, and finally turns to Orton, who insists they go one on one, fair and square - only for Seth to shout at Rusev to attack, but ORTON NAILS AN RKO ON RUSEV! SETH CHARGESā¦ RKO! ORTON MADE HIS CHOICE, AND HE TURNS AROUND INTO AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT! ONE! TWO! THREE! HE CAPITALIZED AT TLC LAST YEAR, AND NOW GETS A TASTE OF HIS OWN MEDICINE AFTER NEUTRALIZING SETH ROLLINS, MAKING JOHN CENA THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER!

The Authority is apoplectic, seething that John Cena managed to get another shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Title, all while likely losing Randy Orton as a member of the Authority for good thanks to his relationship with Seth being beyond repair. Triple H starts making executive decisions, saying he wants to strip Cena of his title shot, saying he wants to fire anyone who crosses the Authority, and out comes Big Match John. He says that heās just as sick of the Authority as they are of him - he knows theyāre in cahoots with Heyman, which is how Brock got gifted a championship bout upon his return. The only reason Cena hasnāt left is because of his devotion to the fans, and out of devotion to those same fans, he wants to ensure that the Authority is removed from power, never to pull their stunts again. Triple H tells Cena itās too bad, but John issues a challenge - heāll put together a team of disgruntled folks who want the Authority deposed, and they can put together whatever cracked squad of guys they want. Five on five, at Survivor Series, in an elimination match. If The Authority win, Cena will lose his shot at Brock Lesnar, and heāll leave WWE. If they lose, though, the Authority is done. Triple H agrees, and then puts in the contract that if Cenaās team loses, his entire TEAM is fired, telling Cena to deal with it, because the Authority make the rules.
The next few weeks see recruitment efforts from both sides - Triple H announces that Seth Rollins and Rusev will be on team Authority, and so will The Game himself. He also bribes Luke Harper into joining by helping him win the Intercontinental Title from Dolph Ziggler. On Cenaās side, he brings in Dolph, and also convinces Ambrose to join forces with him, saying that they need to put their differences aside for the greater good. Heās also surprised when Randy Orton volunteers to join, saying he canāt stand Cena, but he wants the Authority gone too, primarily to show that punk Seth Rollins that he screwed with the wrong guy. On the go-home show, Triple H says heās got his last member - Samoa Joe, knowing that Joe is sure to secure a victory over Cena when it comes down to it. When asked who his last man is, Cena says he had to call up a colleague he hasnāt seen in a long time, but when it comes to the wire, heāll have a fifth member thatāll get the job done.

The start of the show sees a scene of chaos, with the undefeated US Champion Rusev having been tactically laid out backstage. It cuts to the Team Cena locker room, where a smug looking Randy Orton dusts himself off, Cena insisting that the Viper canāt just assault his opponents like that. Orton shrugs, and we head to the office of a very irate Triple H, shouting into the phone to āFLY HIM HERE NOW! THAT SON OF A BITCH OWES ME!ā Before the match begins, Triple H gets confirmation his substitute fifth man has arrived at the arena, and suddenly The Game looks surprisinglyā¦ nervous, as if heād bitten off more than he can chew.

The four identified members of Team Cena are out first, led by Big Match John, but the tension is fairly palpable between them, amplified when their fifth member doesnāt arrive. Next is Team Authority, with Harper, Joe, Rollins and Triple H making their way down to the ring beforeā¦ THE BEAST IS HERE! The WWE World Heavyweight Champion has been conscripted to Team Authority, and Team Cena has a big problem as the bell rings, Orton and Rollins starting off. Rollins tries to get the upper hand on the Viper, but fails pretty quickly, leading him to tag in Harper, encouraging frequent tags amongst the team. Brock seems unenthused, and Triple H wants to be the brains instead of the brawn, but Joe, Harper and Rollins effectively keep Orton isolated until ORTON NAILS AN RKO ON HARPER! He goes for the pin, and ROLLINS DELIVERS A CURB STOMP, ONLY FOR ALL HELL TO BREAK LOOSE! The referee is caught in the crossfire, and Brock cleans house, giving Seth and Triple H the opportunity to slide a cinderblock into the ring for a CURB STOMP THROUGH THE CINDERBLOCK! They slide the evidence away, Team Authority guarding Seth as he hooks the legā¦ ONE! TWO! THREE! TEAM AUTHORITY JUST GOT RID OF PERHAPS THE BIGGEST THREAT ON TEAM CENA!

Itās an uphill battle from here, and the captain tags in, Cena trying to hold down the fort with a series of lariats, shoulder blocks, the works in order to keep Team Authority at bay. Finally, he gets his hands on Rollins, only for Ambrose to tag himself in and start brawling wildly with his former Shield stablemate, Seth bailing and TAGGING IN THE BEAST! Ambrose reluctantly tags Cena back in so he can chase after Seth without being counted out, and Cena goes toe-to-toe with Brock, quickly being backed into the corner as LESNAR GOES FOR AN F-5, BUT DOLPH ZIGGLER LANDS A SUPERKICK! Brock drops Cena, and turns his attentions to Dolph, who bravely stands his ground until being suplexed across the ring. Seth starts shouting at Brock, who turns around and simply looms over the Architect, tagging Rollins in. Seth doesnāt want to fight Cena, so tags in Harper, who gets some strong offense in before CENA LANDS AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT FOR THREE, ELIMINATING THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION!

He stands up to keep bickering, only for CENA TO NAIL A LARIAT, KNOCKING HIM DOWN! SHOULDER TACKLE! SHOULDER TACKLE! He heads back to his corner, having made his point by putting the Authority up a man, but Triple H directs him to keep at it. Worn out and frustrated, Brock shoves Seth off the apron, flips off the Game, and WALKS OUT! The referee starts counting, and Lesnar has no intention of heading back, only pausing when Samoa Joe follows him up the ramp. Joe goes nose to nose with him, telling the Beast to get back in the ring so they donāt go down a man, and Brock doesnāt keep walking past him, but he doesnāt turn around, either. Finally, the referee hits ten, Joe looking as if he could kill the champion then and there, but deciding against an unnecessary fight.

Dolph stands up to Joe, landing a few hopeful bits of offense before being spiked into the canvas with an Uranage, Triple H applauding from the apron. Joe calls for the Muscle Buster, but ZIGGLER DROPS DOWN TO NAIL A ZIG-ZAG! ONE! TWO! THRE-NOOO! Joeās still comparatively fresh, and as he struggles to his feet, Dolph makes the hot tag to Cena, who rushes in and takes the fight to his longtime rival. He gets Joe up for an Attitude Adjustment, but Joe slips off to go for a Coquina Clutch, only for Cena to buck him forward and DELIVER A HURRICANRANAā¦ BUT JOE REVERSES INTO A POWERBOMB! He hoists Cena onto the top turnbuckle, Dolph attempting to run interference, but Seth throws Dolph aside into a PEDIGREE BY TRIPLE H ON THE OUTSIDE! Triple H and Seth Rollins get in the ring to celebrate with Joe as the ref calls out seven, then eight, thenā¦ THE LIGHTS GO OUT! ITāS STIIIIIIIIIINNNNGGGGGGG! Relieved beyond belief, John Cena opens the show with his team (minus Orton, whoās still out from the cinderblock Curb Stomp), thanking all of them for doing their part in erasing the Authorityās influence. However, itās not long until Seth Rollins comes out, cackling about taking out the Viper but still clearly frustrated. Cena asks how it feels to not be handed everything anymore, and Seth says that heāll make sure the Authority has their day in the sun again, but for now, he doesnāt need to be handed things. He can earn them, because heās one of the best wrestlers on the planet. He accuses Brock Lesnar of costing them the win with his exit, and says that he wants to face Brock in order to avenge the Authority - and heāll go through Cena in order to do so. He outlasted Cena at Survivor Series, and he wants to do it again at TLC. He dares John to put his shot at the Beast on the line, and Cena accepts, making for a high-stakes TLC match to main event the show. Over the next few weeks, John faces off with Kane once again, notching a win, and teams with Dolph Ziggler to beat the brakes off J&J Security, sending a message to Seth Rollins that without the infrastructure in place for them to succeed, his network isnāt all that terrifying.

We pick up following Money in the Bank 2014, with John Cena having successfully won his ninth World Championship in WWE - and even more importantly, his seventeenth World Championship overall - after an absolutely dismal start to the year. Having gone six straight PPVs without a win, it was in his hometown of Boston where his rebound began, but now, itās the hard partā¦ keeping the gold on his shoulders, and the crown on his head.
Road to SummerSlam 2014
With Cena now holding the WWEās top prize for the ninth time, heās got a murdererās row of challengers who want a piece of him. First amongst them is Samoa Joe, who gets into a verbal spat with Cena saying heās beaten him time and time again, including on two straight PPVs before Money in the Bank, but itās Cesaro who shockingly makes his case by laying out Joe with an uppercut and demanding a shot not at SummerSlam, but in the Raw main event.

Cena accepts, and, under Heymanās tutelage, Cesaro very nearly captures the goldā¦ but itās not quite enough, with Cena delivering a tremendous Attitude Adjustment for the win after a fantastic bout.

Crestfallen, Cesaro walks off with Heyman, but Paul stops him at the top of the ramp, grabbing a microphone. Out comes Brock Lesnar, standing toe-to-toe with Cesaroā¦ AND LEVELING HIM WITH A CLOTHESLINE BEFORE MAKING HIS WAY DOWN TO DUKE IT OUT WITH CENA! CESAROāS BEEN EXPELLED FROM HEYMANāS CLAN, AND THE BEAST IS BACK FOR JOHN CENAāS CHAMPIONSHIP AT SUMMERSLAM! The next few weeks see a contract signing turn violent, with Lesnar decimating Cena with an F-5, and Rollins attempting a cash-in, only to be stopped by Dean Ambrose. However, Cenaās certainly in a dangerous position as he makes his way into his third SummerSlam main event, weary of all the enemies heās made and all they could do to ruin this reign.

John Cena doesnāt have to wait long, and he really shouldnāt have bothered worrying about those additional enemies, because this is a slaughter. Lesnar backs him into the corner and immediately nails an F-5 for a nearfall, and it doesnāt get any better for the champion. Thereās no hope spot. Thereās no Attitude Adjustment reversal. Thereās no STF, no Five Knuckle Shuffle, no nothing - Cena delivers a lariat to knock Lesnar down, and then he eats a German Suplex. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. And another. Thatās sixteen, and you know what, weāll make it seventeen for good measure, followed by an F-5. One. Two. Three.

Road to Hell in a Cell 2014
With Lesnar having dominated Cena so handily, John takes a few weeks off, returning at Night of Champions to return the favour for Dean Ambrose by helping him out against Seth Rollins in a wild brawl, leading to a tense staredown between the two. In the main event, Brock Lesnar defeats Cesaro in a barnburner, where Cesaro gets plenty more offense in than Cena, causing John to wonder if he even deserves an automatic rematch - so he insists on earning it once news gets out that Brock wonāt be at Hell in a Cell. Seth Rollins also wants a shot, as does Randy Orton, leading the Authority to announce a massive clusterfuck of a main event for Hell in a Cell - a fatal four way within the confines of Hell in a Cell itself, pitting Cena against Orton, Rollins and Ambrose, with the winner going on to face Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. The buildup sees Orton and Cena go down memory lane over their feud, both men chomping at the bit to tear into one another, while Ambrose discusses his distaste for all that Cena represents - but he says his primary objective is taking out Seth Rollins for good.

SETH CHARGESā¦ RKO! ORTON MADE HIS CHOICE, AND HE TURNS AROUND INTO AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT! ONE! TWO! THREE! HE CAPITALIZED AT TLC LAST YEAR, AND NOW GETS A TASTE OF HIS OWN MEDICINE AFTER NEUTRALIZING SETH ROLLINS, MAKING JOHN CENA THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER!

Hello and hopefully y'all will have some advice, I got a call today from Midland credit debt collections....(OF COURSE while I'm the middle of a packed farmers market event and already stressed) I have a bill that was sold to them from PayPal/synchrony bank, long long story there (but had two purchases that weren't mine and some that were mine at the same time and they refused to remove them then I got long term COVID and ended up to my eyeballs in debt from everyone) ANYWAY, he started out very aggressive and kept refusing to tell me what the debt was or even really who he was and was NOT happy I kept repeating I was in a public place and couldn't talk at the moment. I promptly got threatened with a lawyer and a lawsuit....over $2198.....He said i was mailed a warning letter that I never received! I knew it had gone into collections when PayPal REFUSED to let me setup a payment plan with smaller payment but have never heard of these people. I want to pay it but I'm barely scraping by at the moment and just found out my RV motor bill repair is going to be 3k plus (fuel pump went out and the tank has to be dropped on a 24yo class A) I'm literally in debt to my eyeballs at the moment! Including with a pawn shop and my 20yo car has a lien from when the rv had to be towed. I'm self employed full time so good luck garnishing my empty bank account, everything going in is going right back out. I'm asking for a new letter to confirm they have the debt and going from there. Any advice besides selling a kidney? (Does it have to be MY kidney? š¤£)

About 5 years ago, we had what we thought was a minor fender bender. The person who caused it was uninsured. We didn't do anything with insurance. The visible damage was a broken license plate holder, and what seemed like only a crack on the plastic front bumper.
AC in the Mazda CX 5 just went out. At first, mechanic replaced a gasket and recharged the AC. AC worked for 3 days and then went out again. This time they did a 'deep dive,' and reported "wetness at bottom of radiator due to impact. Looks to have damaged condenser as well. Core support bent and broken. Requires a collision center for repairs."
So, my 4 questions:

The amount of gas, and repair bills have cost me around 500 a month since ownership two years ago.
Also it is only worth 500, or 950 at a we junk cars place. So I feel like I'm also exceeding the value each repair. I do have it up on fb for 3,000 with a few bites.
I just have never had a car payment before, and don't know how responsible it is to get one now.
I take home 4,300 a month, 700 credit score, and 23 years old. Would be putting 5,000 down, plus trade in, and trying for a 4 year lease. Trying to get something 15-20k. Only debt I have is student loans (10k left to go)
Or another route is to save up from my 5k to buy something around 10k and no payment.
Last is to neglect repairs and just drive it till it dies, which personally doesn't sound too bad. I'm just sick of paying outrageous mechanic bills. Also diy is not possible due to living situation
I'm just struggling on what to do right now, I'm not looking for anything fancy, just decent mileage, reliable, and AWD.

The truck is an 02 tundra, I got in college for a deal because well, the entire left side slid into a mountain side. Not collision but enough to mildly dent everything. So far preventive stuff is done, but also actuator, tie rods, steering rack (still busted)
needs, probably just a new rack, cv joints, and rear u joint fixing. I'm pretty particular amount oil/tire rotations but of course an 260,000 mile truck will have issues

When they get out, they stay in the vicinity of the house but run away from the owners (I wonder why). They will come to me hilariously, and I just helped them get one back in the fence yesterday. I offered to help them repair the hole but they declined.
Anyway, one night while the dogs were out, they got in my crawl space through a large opening I naively neglected to patch for over a year (I've since blocked it off). I woke up in the morning to the sounds of vent rustling and discovered what they had done. I documented the damage (security cameras) and called a sheriff to file a report, who spoke with the owners. After we got the dogs back in their fence, he went on his way, and I'm stuck figuring out how to proceed.

This is my first post to this sub and my first foray into DIY solar and I'm hoping for a sanity check of my plan. I have a 5th-wheel RV with 50A split-phase service (so two 120v legs). I'm looking to be able to run the A/C for a few hours overnight and generally provide power to the rig with minimal shore power (although obviously there will be times when I need to charge from shore power). Hi guys,
I have little hope to really find what I am after, as I have searched the web quite a bit. But you never know, maybe theres a secret hidden here on Reddit š
I am using a SP530e with 2x5m SK6812 on my RV and am semi happy with the results. The app BANLANX is ok somehow and the strip itself is quite good, but the app is limiting its possibilities a lot!
I cannot make use of white LEDs in segments. I can use dimmable solid white and readymade white dynamic effects. But no DIY possibilities for white LEDs at all. Which is a bummer. RGB is nice, occasionally, but often too much of a chinese / gaming style (dont get me wrong, no offense).
I dont want the whole 10m strip light up in white, but only maybe 2m (in this case over the door..)
2nd, the DIY section is a bit awkward.. but well, it CAN be done. Unfortunately, there is no way of saving DIYs at all... who on earth designs something like this, not adding a simple safe of DIY#1, #2 ...
Thats what I really hate about those kind of app: they are developed, they do some things more or less badly, and then they are stopped being developed half way.
Anyways, sorry for the rant, my question:
Is there any other app, better then Banlanx, to control the mentionend device?
Or which way would be a workaround, maybe using a Raspberry Pi Zero or alike? I am not a coder myself, I can understand code to a degree and might be able to make some changes, but some out-of-the-box thing would be way better..

Hey all, Previous owner of my home was possibly the worldās worst handyman, Iāve never encountered so many DIY home repairs done poorly. Last week we discovered an infestation of bird mites spreading out from our above-range microwave. After removing the microwave I discovered he had knocked out bricks to install a vent, the vent was in the wrong place to use, thereās a big cast iron pipe going up to the roof from what appears to be an ancient gas range in the way of where a duct could go so he just left an open vent and put the new microwave in with a bunch of paint stirrers wood glued in place as shims and called it a day. 20+ years of starlings nesting in the void behind the microwave later a neighborhood cat killed the momma bird and Iām tearing this all out and vacuuming up a half dozen dead birds, an equal number of dead mice and 3 cubic feet of nesting material out of the void behind my stove (I had to run an exhaust hose out the window from my shop vac because the stench was so foul). Iāve dusted everything with diatomaceous earth and sanitized the kitchen with Steri-fab, installed new drywall and closed off the vent but last night we had a torrential downpour and water started dripping from the old stove pipe. I plan on capping the top on the roof but tonight I poked at the rusty ācapā on the pipe and it crumbled. Iām looking for the best way to seal it off but have no clue how to search for what this pipe is or how to identify it. Itās slightly wider than 3 inches, where can I find a proper plug for this thing? images

I went to detach the top of the canister to replace it (following youtube video instructions), and the canister detached from the tank with barely any pressure applied. She hasn't really worn them until about a month ago, when the weather warmed and we found that she was getting pretty bad chafing and blistering on the top of her right foot after pretty minimal use. At first we thought she needed to wear them in, but after having no issues with her left foot, I took a closer look and found that the rear strap on the right sandal sits noticeably further back, this causes it to cut into the top of her foot. I contacted Birkenstock's customer support to see about getting the right sandal replaced under warranty and was surprised to learn that they don't have one outside of their 30 day return policy... This kinda blew my mind considering how much their advertising focuses on material quality and craftsmanship. Anyway, Birkenstock's customer support is not offering to help because were outside of the return window. TL;DR - Ordered these online and didn't wear them till after 30 days. The right sandal has a defect that causes blisters and Birkenstock won't help. Any recommendations on what we could do? She loves the look of the sandals and wants to wear them. Are we SOL as far as Birkenstock repairs go? If so, are there DIY fixes we could do? |
