Currently managed by Meryll Lynch, can anyone take a gander at this and tell me if it is a shitshow or I should let it be? I don't have any particular growth or income goals for this portfolio, just want to make sure it's not set up to significantly underperform.

TLDR: Anyone have any legal resources on TN’s labor laws regarding overpaid wages?
I currently live in Tennessee and lived in Tennessee at the time I worked for my former employer. I ended my employment on May 3, 2023. They sent my termination paperwork and final check later that month.
Their vacation policy was to allow us to use time in advance, but it must be paid back from your last paycheck if you quit before you accrue the used time. Additionally, if an employee quit before using any accrued vacation time, the policy was to pay the employee for that time. Therefore, they always perform an audit when an employee quits to determine if they owe any unused time to the employee or vice versa. (I knew I was going to quit for about a month before turning in my two week notice. So, I calculated how much time I had left to use and I used it during that month. So, my termination paperwork did not show they owed me any vacation pay or vice versa.)
Cut to the present, it’s June of 2024. I received a letter today dated May 31, 2024 stating I owe them overpaid wages for just over $800. The letter states this overpayment occurred on my last paycheck (a payment period of April 23 to May 6).
Their “proof”: an included record of my self-reported timesheet with the CORRECT amount of hours worked and the CORRECT 3.5 hours of vacation time used. The next section shows they mistakenly paid me for more “worked hours” than was on my timesheet for that pay period, and that I also owed them for 15.75 hours of vacation used that was not accrued. (I know this is not correct as I encountered payroll issues with them in the past, and had begun recording my used time in a spreadsheet on my work Google account.)
I have no way of accessing my payroll information at this point because I haven’t worked there in over a year. All I have is my last paystub and the termination paperwork I received last year. (Access to my work Google Drive was revoked once I quit.)
I have done some online research and cannot find a definitive answer on TN’s labor laws regarding overpaid wages. However, I did find a pdf on the U.S. Dept of Labor’s website showing that the state of Tennessee requires employers to notify an employee of an overpayment within 90 days of the occurrence.
Are there any legal minds in here that have any insight on if this is true? I am trying to find legal resources to cite in my email response to their letter. (They did not provide any phone number for contact. Only a physical address and an email. 🙄

Almost a month back me and my gf of 2 (almost 3) years broke up. What it was about was that I had a platonic friend who is very close to me of 6+ years. To me she was basically family and to her I was like family too. We made dirty jokes, had Friendsgiving, and was there when she was really down and vice versa. Well a conversation we had that didn’t seem out of the ordinary to me really really irked my gf. She gave me an ultimatum. The kind that would end the relationship then and there. She knew I would never cheat and even admitted such, and I know I wouldn’t ever cheat, and I know my friend so well that I knew my gf even insinuating that my friend wanted me was (to me) at best delusional. Telling me she trusted me but wanted screenshots of our conversation, and calling my friend trash. I choose her foolishly at first out of not wanting to lose her but naturally I was hurt and angry and stayed mad all week. believe it or not she had no qualms AT ALL about her actions and justified them zealously to the point of delusion. Such as telling me to ask my family and when I did they said she was being irrational and disrespectful especially to my boundaries, then telling me “I could have known my best friend since I was a baby and I would have cut him out of my life instantly! I cut my dad out and I have no problems losing people!” At one point wanting to stop fighting and when I believed that maybe she had at least understood what was wrong about it but didn’t want to admit it- No she really didn’t because when I told her “I just feel sad and numb” she responded with “I’m sorry you feel that way”. As if she’s not the one who did it in the first place. Which really pissed me off much more and made me even more mad at her. To be clear I was angry. she not only used our relationship as a bargaining chip but had the audacity to want to act like nothing was wrong with her actions and I was the one that was wrong. She ended the relationship because she was mad that I didn’t just drop it (how could I with losing someone so close to me?), and I tried to make it work to the end. The woman I love truly died on that hill out of petty jealousy. And while I think back and say I did the right thing I can’t erase the 2 years we were happy together and a small part of me wonders if it could have ended differently. I know it’s not about whose right in the end, only whose left but I still have question in my mind whose fault it was. Personally I feel like I made the right choice, and everyone close to me does too. And while she may have had a valid point it was immediately overshadowed by her overreaction and subsequent actions.
Context: I’m not the greatest with communication skills and a form of autism really doesn’t help that, the call that kicked it off happened because I genuinely could not understand her tone with texting. Social cues are hard enough for me to grasp without trying to decipher the texting equivalent of the enigma code.

From what I can gather, If you Google or ask why you want or need these devices you will get a generic and trite response “to prevent contamination”. The rest of the story seems to be it’s not contamination from normal use. It’s when you winterize your system. The town next to me had an ecoli in the water supply because they did not do the back flow testing and winterized their sprinklers. Using air, the individual(s) pushed bacteria back into the water supply. It seems to me that particular case could have been prevented with a shutoff valve. 🤷‍♂️

I like cookies, chocolates, chips, and all the "c"s like any other person, but the majority of my binges are on conventionally healthy/whole foods. This does not mean low calorie.
For example, I will eat bowls of oatmeal with peanut butter and banana, one after the other.
Those people who say "if you don't want to eat an apple, you're not truly hungry!" but I can down several apples at a time, especially with peanut butter. Berries, grapes, and most fruits tbh.
I have made multiple slices of avocado toasts one after the other. I have binged on hard boiled eggs and roasted potatoes.
Literally no food is safe around me 😭

I was told I’m getting the drop form first and then if it doesn’t go away I’ll get antibiotic but that’s if the drops don’t work after 7 days and it hurts. I asked the doctor for a different option but. I didn’t research it and it’s also a floxie.. ugh what can I do? When I google alternatives to these drops nothing comes up. It just says discuss with my doctor. But bro is going on vacation! I know urgent care will just say floxies and call my PCP because they did it before …

Everytime I open my trading app, all I can see in my head is the CEO of faraday, an old man standing there with all of their chips on the table, saying we will overcome short selling. Whether we have or haven’t at this point I don’t really care.
Obviously I don’t know the man but I’ve been in his position on a much fucking smaller scale, saying I believe in this. Ffie is trying. Anyways now I’m mid 20’s and I’ve been struggling with a lot of personal issues which led me to this community via google searching my problems. The first thing I did when I found this sub was look up the ISFJ personality type and immediately I’m shocked and slightly offended by how well it describes me, including going to school and now working in Finance… 🙄

Throwaway for obivous reasons I’m a fat guy who’s never had a girlfriend, so loneliness has been a constant companion in my life. A while back, I decided to Google ways to meet people online and stumbled upon a site filled with Cam Models. It seemed fun, and with so many girls, I thought maybe I’d have a chance to connect with someone, even if it was just for show and money ( I got nothing to lose huh?).
However, things didn’t go as planned. My initial interactions on the site were disheartening. As soon as girls saw my picture, they often reacted with disgust or outright laughter. It crushed me. Each rejection chipped away at my already fragile self-esteem.
In a moment of desperation, I made a terrible choice: I started catfishing. I used photos of attractive guys (no face just torso) I found on the web, pretending they were me. The conversations, though, were real—my thoughts and feelings were entirely genuine.
Then, I met her. She was different—kind, and engaging, and she talked to me a lot. Over time, we developed feelings for each other. It wasn’t the superficial Cam girl stuff; it was genuine, daily conversations. I felt seen, appreciated, even loved. But the guilt was eating me alive because she was falling for someone who didn’t exist.
After struggling with the burden of my lies, I reached a breaking point. I began to question whether I could continue living a lie. Perhaps, I thought, if she could see the real me, she might still accept and connect with who I truly am. Without disclosing my past actions, I decided to take a different approach.
I created a new account with genuine photos, intending to gradually reintroduce myself to her. On my real account, I engaged in more meaningful conversations, opening up and sharing more about myself. Meanwhile, on the catfish account, I talked less and gradually distanced myself, strategically switching places to avoid revealing my true identity too soon.
I hoped that by gradually phasing out the catfish persona, I could eventually transition to being myself.
However, I never had the courage to come clean. The fear of rejection paralyzed me. Despite my desire for honesty, I remained silent, too scared to reveal my true self.
Now, I’m consumed by guilt and shame. I finally have someone who cares about me, but it’s all based on a lie. I feel disgusted with myself and don’t know how to move forward. The burden of my lies is overwhelming, and I’m lost, unable to forgive myself for what I’ve done.
TL;DR: A lonely guy turns to catfishing on a site with e-girls for connection and meets someone who cares genuinely, but guilt consumes him. He creates a new account with genuine photos but can't muster the courage to reveal the truth. Struggling with shame and self-forgiveness, he feels lost and trapped by his deception.

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share my initial experience with Amaryllo Cloud storage after using it for the past 24 hours. Here's how it went:

1. I transferred 5GB of data, which essentially includes my entire collection of important files. This process took quite a while, but that's understandable given my internet speed is around 100 Mbps down and 20 Mbps up (realistically, it's about half of that with even less upload speed).
2. My primary reason for switching was to get away from my old provider, whose servers were thousands of miles away, resulting in painfully slow transfer rates.
3. So far, I’m impressed with the speed of Amaryllo Cloud. It's on par with Google Drive and OneDrive, which is a significant upgrade from my previous experience.
4. The Android app is another highlight. It’s simple, intuitive, and easy to navigate, making it much faster and more user-friendly than my old provider's app.
5. I really appreciate that lifetime plans are the norm with Amaryllo Cloud. It gives me confidence that I'm not gambling on the company’s survival. After researching the company, they seem legit and have a positive, long-standing background.
6. There are a couple of areas where Amaryllo Cloud falls short:
   • Lack of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): I was disappointed to find that 2FA isn’t available yet. However, I reached out to support, and they assured me it’s on the way.
   • No Desktop Integration: Currently, there's no WebDAV or similar connection to sync directly with my computer. I have to use the web version, and I'm hoping they release a desktop app soon.
7. I did have some privacy concerns, especially about AI being integrated into my cloud storage. Thankfully, Amaryllo Cloud makes it easy to disable AI features, so that alleviated my worries.
8. I have yet to try out the encryption features, but I plan to test them soon. I'll follow up with my experience once I've had the chance to evaluate it.

Overall, my initial impression of Amaryllo Cloud is positive, with some room for improvement. Looking forward to seeing how they evolve!

Short lived pinball platform made by Williams before leaving the pinball market in 1999.
Uses a Cyrix Media GX CPU and a Baby-AT board with a VIA chipset and stores the game data via expansion board plugged into a lone ISA or PCI slot.
Certain parts of fhe machine were connected to the serial and parallel ports such as lights and solenoids.

Created by Quantum3D and was used to power two racing games from Midway.
Can run Windows 98 and 2000 whole being built to military specifications and uses a 440BX based ATX board.
Uses Slot-1 and can take Celeron, Pentium II, and III CPUs

Used in 3 games (1 released, 2 scrapped).
Like the Pinball 2000, it uses a Cyrix MediaGX processor and a extra board for the I/O and game data.
Daughterboard connects via the parallel and serial port(s) and both use an odd form factor.

1. Andamiro MK3

Uses a bespoke design with a sandwhich type layout while based around the 440BX.
OS is MS-DOS-based and stored on a Disk-On-Chip that bypasses the BIOS.
Uses extra boards for I/O and JAMMA which are connected using ISA via a DIN 41612 connector and ribbon cables. (Just use PC/104 at that point)
Has an embedded 8mb 3Dfx Vodoo chip and VRAM that uses the PCI bus internally.
Also has unpopulated pads for a Slot 1 connector alongside headers for extra drives such as an extra IDE and a floppy connector.

1. Andamiro MK5

Also a bespoke board used by Andamiro but is able to use more standard parts and connectors and has external rear I/O like the Midway Quicksilver alongside a more normal layout.
Still keeps an embedded GPU but adds a heatsink while also having a bigger EEPROM than the MK3.
Uses a tualatin based Celeron and Windows XP embedded in prex 3 with Linux in Exceed and later.
Last one to use ISA for the I/O board before moving to USB based versions connected to PCI. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

1. Technomotion board

Was only used in technomotion (another Korean DDR knock-off).
Used a slot-1 CPU with a Pentium II with an AGP GPU and also had Windows 95 on an HDD.
Is from an obscure brand and does not feature standard I/O externally though might have the circuitry and solder pads.

Just learned that a girl was walking from an event through Niepolda where she got pricked with a needle, when she got home she found a “Welcome to the HIV club” sticker on her back, tester herself and she does now have HIV.
It’s not a new thing, if you google “welcome to the hiv club” you’ll find reports of different attacks like that from all around the world.
