The Triforce... That’s the Absolute Power created by the Ancient Gods, the essence of all things and the twisted thing which can grant the desire of the one which acquires it.
The old gods created a supreme power that gave anyone who possessed it the ability to shape reality and fulfill any desire. They called it the Triforce.

Sekai wo hooshita shuuen no mono wa toraifoosu wo suuchuu ni osameyou to mamono wo ayatsuri ikusa wo shikatekimashita.
The “Shueen no Mono” which desired the world sought to capture the Triforce, so it controlled monsters and staged battles.
In his thirst to make the world his own, Demise readied a massive army of monsters for war. He sought to take the Triforce for himself by force.

The goddess feared for her people. She used her power to send both them and the Triforce into the sky on a slice of earth she cut away from the land.

At the end of the struggle... The Goddess Hylia managed to seal the “Shuuen no Mono”.
After a long and fierce battle, the goddess, Hylia, succeeded in sealing away Demise.

But when faced with his tremendous power, the seal wouldn’t hold forever... That was clearer that looking at a fire...
However, soon after the demon king was imprisoned, it became clear that the seal would not hold long against his fearsome power.

If the “Shuuen no Mono” were to break the seal and achieve his resurrection... The Goddess, owing heavy wounds from the battle, had no other methods to stop him.
Hylia had suffered grave injuries in her battle with the demon king. She knew that if he broke free again, there would be no stopping him.
このままでは終焉の者は 必ず復活する... この大地に生きる者にとって それは 世界の終わりを意味します.

In order to put an end to the demon king, Hylia devised two separate plans and set them both into motion.

Hitotsu wa erabareshi mono wo michibiku tame ni anata ga seotta tsurugi ni yadoru seirei Fai wo souzousurukoto.
One was to create the spirit Fai, which resides in the blade you carry on, so as to guide her Chosen One.
First, she created Fi. She made the spirit that resides in your sword to serve a single purpose: to assist her chosen hero on his mission.
そしてもう1つは... ハイリア自身が神の体を捨て去り 自らの魂を人間に転生させること.
Soshite mou hitotsu wa... Hairia jishin ga kami no karada wo sutesari mizukara no tamashii wo ningen ni tenseisaseru koto.
And the other one… That was for Hylia herself to abandon her Godly body and for her soul to be reincarnated into a human.
Her second plan...was to abandon her divine form and transfer her soul to the body of a mortal.

"Shueen" normally means "end" or "apocalypse", so it should be the "Apocalyptic One". Yet when Zelda speaks of him during your reunion in the past (Hylia's Temple) she mentions his name in the context of "The Shuuen no Mono which desired to rule the world".
There, according to my Japanese teacher (a Japanese from Oosaka himself) told me that there was a trick: given how this guy wanted to "rule" then the meaning changed to that of "ruler" or "tyrant", so "Tyrannical Being" is a correct translation.
In short: in Japan he's know as either "Demon King" or "Tyrannical Being" yet he doesn't have a "name" per se.
