I got a conditional offer from TMU, and I have accepted it. I paid my Tuition deposit and as of now I'm meeting the conditions of my offer.
The questions I want to get answers for are: 1.What steps should I take now? 2. How do I confirm that I'm actually in and I'll be studying at TMU starting September? 3. What happens if I don't meet the conditions (let's say I fail all my exams) 4. Is TMU gonna send me a confirmation letter saying I'm in? If so when?
I did my research and most of the people say that there is no official letter saying you are in, and that if you don't get a rejection letter after exams , you are fine, but this isn't enough for me, I want to be like 100% sure that I'm good.

I want to start by saying that I've struggled with this since about the 2nd or 3rd month mark. we are at month 7 now. I am positive that it hasn't taken a toll thus far on the relationship given my (18) partner (18) has been very patient with me. However, that doesn't mean I don't want to make the effort to get better. Not only for myself, but also for their sake as well.
Alright. The basis of this is that I chronically overthink. My partner doesn't think. Its like they may think of something for a small amount of time, but can just forget about thinking about it in a couple minutes. I am stuck on things for a very long time and listen to the situations I make up. In some past cases, I have thought our relationship was in shambles because of the tone I received when I asked something. It had turned out my partner had supported whatever I said, but I overthought the response to be bad. (They said "sure", which in their language means like "yeah lets do that" and I took it as "sure i don't really care I dont want to do that")
Now, along with this: I also have a hard time "listening" to my partner when they tell me everything is alright. An example of this comes from today. We had a chill day, we were both tired, and I was going home for dinner. I had perceived their tiredness as lack of love or a disinterest. When I asked them if we were okay, they said we were great, nothing had changed, I was just being silly.
I do NOT distrust my partner when it comes to being in the relationship. However, I have a very hard time hearing the reassurance, and being 100% confident in the answer given to immediately return to a safe mindset that nothing has changed. I always have a little pit in my stomach that thinks my thinking was annoying, or needing the reassurance was annoying, and that asking for the reassurance was annoying and asking if the asking of the reassurance was annoying, etc. I am EXTREMELY grateful to have someone in my life that has this kind of patience with me.
Some of this stems from thinking I am a burden most of the time. Its hard to feel comfortable at their house if I eat dinner there or if they buy out because I feel I am undeserving of their kindness. Or, I will do something else that will help out, so if they had given me something, I'm giving back how I can (dishes, paying, etc.). Sometimes I don't want to have to pay because I'm over there a lot and I spend my own money, however, I struggle with feeling like a selfish person. I DESPISE feeling selfish. But at the same time, I wouldn't mind having a day where I didn't have to worry about myself.
I just want help. If I am not with my partner, I am at home. I don't have anything at home. No hobbies currently holding my interest. No Video Games I enjoy playing. No friends online. All I do is watch TV or Reels. I have a lot of friends outside of home though, but going out a lot seems to be a burden to my family/parents. Always complaining that I am not home enough, even though it always helps me to get out. I do hope to find friends in college though, maybe some that will share the same interests.
My Partner brings me and endless amount of joy. But being without my partner at home, ultimately leads to me being sad or unhappy/bored/meh.
Me and my partner intend to do long-distance, and we have no doubts that it will work out. But, before that happens, I want to work this issue I have out. It will make it easier on me, but help them out as well.
I love this person with all my heart, but I want to do this for myself. Helping myself will in turn help them out as well though.
I have thought about going to therapy, but I don't have that much time. I feel it would add more stress onto my plate, and that wouldn't be beneficial.
Any help is appreciated. I want to be better. Be happier. Not have to worry. Just live a fruitful life with this person and give them everything they give me. I want to make both our lives the best they can be.

TL:DR - Chronic Overthinker. Overthink and obsessively worry about if relationship is falling apart when it is the strongest it has ever been. Takes toll on my happiness, and it is not my partner's fault. Just want to take control of my worry, and be better and happier. Want to give my partner the most I can while also giving myself the most I can give.

So I just walked out of a test worth 10% of my grade, I studied really hard and was confident that I was gonna do well. I was aiming for 100% and it seemed very realistic . On all the practise tests I scored nearly perfect marks and would finish the test in under 30 minutes in test conditions (it’s a 45 minute test).
However, I just did the test and messed it up. It was an easy test and everything was something that I had already seen and practised before. I was looking at the questions and my head drew a blank for about half my time (even though I’ve practised and studied all of these questions before). I just couldn’t get the answers out for some reason.
Half way through the test, the answers all came to me so I rushed to try get as much done as I could but still left 2 big questions completely blank and parts of the other questions blank because I ran out of time. The test was online in a computer lab so I didn’t even get a chance to explain how I was gonna solve the question (formulas etc).
I just feel really stupid right now. I’m guessing the most I can get on this test is 50%. This was a subject that I pride myself in, and I don’t know what to do. I doubt my professor will let me resit the supplementary test. 10% is just 10% but I can’t repeat this same mistake for the final exam worth 60% of my grade.
I know people might say “just study harder” but I don’t think that’s the way to solve this issue because if you ask me about anything on the test right now I can answer it perfectly. I don’t know if it’s the nerves because I was very confident right up until the test started.
Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this? Exams are right around the corner and I need to make sure this won’t happen again or I seriously might fail. 🥲

Hi there! I'm in my second semester of the Vet Tech associates degree. In the first semester, I almost always had access to 2 courses at the same time. One would open once I was about 1/2 way through the other. I'm currently in the English Composition course, and have finished everything 100% except the last 2 assignments. I thought i would have access to another course by now? Is this an issue that needs to be addressed with PF or is English Composition always by itself and I just have to finish the whole course before getting access to the next? When I select "Automate heart rate zones" in the app, it reads as follows:

However, this blog (Heart Rate Zones – Superset (bevel.health) post defines them as such:

I bring this up because it leads to different Zone 2 answers if that's what you're after. I've used the calculation of Resting HR + HR Reserve * X% in the past. So, I'm curious as to how Bevel actually views Zone 2 and the rationale as to why.

Hi everyone. I’ve got a nearly 3 year old undesexed male Keeshond, approx 16kg with a sensitive tummy. He eats Ziwi chicken, science diet dental care, cooked chicken with each meal/treats on walks, and the occasional bone every 2 weeks. He had very bad allergies as a puppy and receives cytopoint to manage the eczema/itch.
He had his first attack at 4 months old. Started having intense yipping/screaming fits every 5 minutes. Drove him an hour to the vet with him screaming in the car, he got inside the vet and walked around like nothing was wrong. He was sedated and the vet couldn’t find anything wrong. Vet concluded a beef allergy since he had cooked mince that morning but he has since been fine with beef.
Next attack was about 9 months, took him to the emergency vet and he had a grass seed that had abscessed on his prepuce. His was sedated and had it removed. The screaming continued for 24h past this.
Dozens more episodes have occurred in the 2.5 years we have had him. They usually end up with a very expensive trip to the vet and no answers. Current vet is excellent, we give the dog 300mg of Gabepentin every 12 hours when he is in pain at his advice.
The past 2 occurrences we have been able to role him onto his back and gently massage his tummy. While massaging you can hear things gurgling around, after about an hour of massage he gets up farts/burps and is completely fine. Concluded that this was gas pain as it usually pretty painful in humans too.
Most recent episode is currently happening, it’s been 24h of non stop pacing and yipping. He gets slightly sedated from the gabapentin but this wears off. Tried buscopan at the vet’s recommendation, it’s no longer used in Australia in vet medicine so he asked us to find some credible information on dosage and give it a try. Gave him 5mg of buscopan with absolutely no difference.
Any physical examination he has while in pain comes back normal. He is able to poo/wee while in pain so doesn’t seem like bowel obstruction etc. These attacks sometimes occur with dietary changes like is he hasn’t had chicken for a week and it is reintroduced, or we try a new food. Other times they’re 100% random. Have absolutely no idea what’s going on with him, most Kees I’ve had have been very stoic and never show any signs of pain.

I apologize this is long but I have been very anxious and just want to make sure it's not an emergency.
I am currently very anxious because I just lost my job and insurance and have multiple issues that I ignored for years while I was working and want to start to work on now. I am asking for you guys to take a look at some of my symptoms and let me know there are any for me to go to a emergency room
I am 28 years old 5'6" and probably over 300 lbs.
My heart rate has been between 100 to 115 bpm.
As of the last 3 or 4 days my blood pressure has been around 128/80 as of recently feel like my breathing is more labored than usual
I am also currently injured in my knee (knee had a lot of fluid, the 100 Ml fluid was removed by a medical professional but my knee still isn't right) I am waiting on the insurance I got to hit so I can go to an orthopedic. I at first I was taking a bunch of a leave thinking it was advil. When I realized it I stopped taking it. I know am taking ibuprofen (1 maybe 2 a day) this has me very scared as I have a sensitive stomach and don't want to burn a whole.
For years now my stool had been yellow and come out in multiple textures. I also either dry heave or throw up multiple times a week.
Lastly are that I constantly have issues with pain in my ankles and feet and on occasion my hips. My feet get very tight and sometimes I can't walk on them (happens to both one at a time or sometimes at the same time) and causes the ankles and hips to hurt. When it's really bad it goes to my hips.
I am obese and also had a very bad diet
Due to these things I get very very anxious and used to smoke cannibus heavily to cope but when I hurt my knee I decided to quit I also started to eat much cleaner and I have been drinking more water and no more juice and soda. No alcohol or nicotine worst the habit is bad food.
I understand that I am probably just having a panic attack due to the waight and Injury but I can't help but feel I might have other issues. I'm sorry for asking but I feel like an honest answer may calm my nerves until I can go to a Dr or if needed I can make it to an emergency room if needed. Please advise I appreciate any help also I will answer questions you may have.

Wanted to share my experience doing crash course studying for 7 days and passing the SIE first attempt! I never post anything on here, but others posts made a big difference for me, so here goes!
TL;DR:
I passed my SIE yesterday after only 7 days of study. Intense! I used Pass Perfect, spent 50 hours studying total. If you only have a week or two before your test, DO NOT take a bunch of notes on everything! Read the content, take the quizzes and test, take notes on those answers and explanations!
VERY IMPORTANT: Use the two free Achievable SIE dump Sheets and watch both the S7g.u.r.u and S7 Whisperer 60 min crash course SIE YouTube videos the day before or day of test! I’ve included links at the bottom of this post. Be sure to memorize the dump sheet tricks and formulas, and decide what’s most important to reference. The test center gives you two laminated sheets and dry erase markers you can use as soon as the test timer starts. Be ready to write down key formulas, acronyms, timeframes, etc. Mine were the Options 4 square box, SLoBS & BLiSS, yield teeter totter and Key Open vs Closed end market notes. (All on the achievable dump sheets except Open/Closed Markets).
My Story:
In late April I was hired by Vanguard for a position starting May 28. I’d been a contractor doing customer service in an unlicensed VG position for about 10 months (no finance background before that); with the goal of getting hired in a licensed, permanent role within a year. I worked hard and got hired! The position requires SIE, S7 and S63. After my start date they pay me to do nothing but study and take exams for 9 or 13 weeks (depending on whether I’d passed the SIE prior to start date), which is awesome, but there’s a $5000 bonus if the SIE is passed at least a week before start date.
Note: I did have a little familiarity with basic terms and what’s required for account opening, due to my contractor position).
I originally scheduled my exam for May 13. I had about a month from hire date to May 13, and VG paid for the Pass Perfect course. I started some light studying the first week, thinking I had 3 more weeks and was on track. Then I got really sick for 2 weeks! I’m talking bed ridden, definitely no studying. So May 10 I rescheduled my exam to May 18! I had to pay $40 but figured it was well worth it not to fail, lol.
I was finally well enough to start studying on May 11, giving me 7 days. 😅 I had retained very little from my initial studying so I started over. I thought “I can do this!” I figured I’d had to do similar in college while working full time. Boy it was rough!
7 Days to PASS the SIE:
The first 3 days I had all day to study: Sat, Sun and Mon (had the day off for my original test date).
THE PLAN 41+ hours 5 practice tests, scoring at least 75%
Days 1-3 (full days) - 8+ hrs per day - Complete Pass Perfect Course (16 chapters) start to finish (reading and all quizzes, chapter tests)
Days 4-5 (Tues, Wed) - 5 hrs each day (2 before work and 3 after) - Take 1-2 Pass Perfect Final exams (1 hr 45 min each) each day, taking time to focus/take notes on anything I missed - Goal of 4 total tests, with 75% or higher on 3
Day 6 (Friday, day before the test) - 5 hours (2 hrs before work, 3 hours after) - Take 1 FINRA practice SIE exam before work (free on FINRA website) - after work, Review all Difficult Topics - Listen to S7g.u.r.u & S7 whisperer on YouTube. (They each have a 60 minute crash course review, recommended for day before or day of test). - Print out Achievable Dump Sheets - add my own notes to dump sheets
Day 7 (Day of Test) Test scheduled for 2pm (1:30 registration) - 2 hours Notes and Dump Sheets Review in morning - Leave for Test at 11:30, arrive 12:30 (45 min drive) - One last Review of Dump Sheets for 45 min, take a break before registration
Great Plan Right?! Wellll, I didn’t quite stick to it. 🤣
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED: 52 Hours Study - Not at the planned pace! 4 Practice Finals (71% average) A lot of tears, anxiety and stress!😫 A rollercoaster of Self-doubt and Self-Confidence
Day 1 (Sat): 7 hrs Completed first 3 chapters, taking tons of notes on a Google doc, color coded and highlighted. I’ll do more tomorrow I thought, my brain is fried
Day 2 (Sun): 10 hours Completed chapters 4&5 again taking tons (too many) notes, taking quizzes and Tests multiple times, worried I wasn’t getting the concepts and terms well enough. Getting really worried about my pace now, but “hey I have tomorrow. I’ll crush it and catch up”. Maybe I won’t get to tests until Thurs, but I’ll be okay..
Day 3 (Mon): 7 hrs (I was exhausted and burnt out, still not 100% from being sick) Chapter 6 OPTIONS… the death of me, soooo much to learn. Barely got through chapter 6. Full panic has now set in! I have to work full time the next 4 days! If the rest of the course is this hard, I’m screwed. There goes my bonus, how will I tell my husband? (He would not have been mad but I would feel terrible). “Children and husband, do not bother me! I need to focus!” 😅
Day 4 (Tues): 6 hrs ( 6pm-12am) Intense panic and anxiety, how the hell am I going to finish?! Screw notes, get through the chapters! Completed chapters 7-10 Whew, these chapters weren’t as bad, maybe it’s getting easier. I think I remember a good amount. Better wrap this up tomorrow!
Day 5 (Wed): 5 hrs Very worried, but I’ll finish today and take lots of tests the next 2 days! Completed chapters 11-13 😫 OMG I’m still not done with the course and I have 2 days left! I must sleep.
Day 6 (Thurs): 6 hrs in the evening - Completed remaining chapters 14-16, course done 8pm. Whew, content done. Worried about not taking any tests yet, but at least I feel like I know the content decently! Took my first Pass Perfect Test, score 71% not as bad as I thought but that’s not a lot of margin for error! (Need 70% to Pass actual SIE test). At that point I’m calculating how much each point is worth, looking up suggestions online and praying, lol 🙏
Day 7 (Fri): 7 hrs Took 2 Pass Perfect tests, reviewed missed answers carefully and took notes. Scores: 71% and 73%. Took FINRA SIE test (on their website), 69%. Omg I’m gonna fail tomorrow. 🥺
Friday night I thought “Hmm Maybe I can reschedule for Monday (the deadline to pass for bonus). Two more days and I will be ready!” So I go to the Prometrics website and try to reschedule, seeing one slot for Monday at a site 2 hrs away… awesome.. NOPE, NOT ALLOWED less than 3 days before scheduled exam! (Why did I not think of this Tuesday?) 🙄 So I called customer service, begged and told them I had been sick.. Since they said I could not reschedule the day before the test, I asked if they could cancel it and schedule a new appt for Monday? DENIED. So I took a deep breath, cried a little and came to terms with it. This test is happening, tomorrow. 😫 🤬
Friday night 9pm: As recommended by colleagues and online forums, I listen to S7 whisperer 60 min crash course on YouTube; no notes, listening in bed). Ok, learned some things, great overview/review. Maybe I can pull this off afterall. 🤔 Things are looking up. 😊
Saturday, May 13… Day of Test (2-4pm)
7am woke up, ate a good breakfast, prepared everything I needed to take and do. Now what? Should I take another practice test? Review my notes? Listen to video? I decided no more tests, I’ll listen to the other crash course (S7g.u.r.u 60 min crash course on YouTube). 🤞
8am—11:30 Crunch time. Im determined to pass this exam!! Spent 3 hours listening to the 60 min S7g.u.r.u video, pausing when needed, replaying as needed. Took 11 pages of color coded notes on the most important points and formulas I needed to remember, mainly on Regulations (what market does it impact, what type of product, who, timeframes). I knew this was going to be at least 15% of test (I was right) and these were the main questions I missed on my Practice Finals
11:30am Renewed Faith 🙌 DAMN I learned a LOT. I’m gonna pass this thing! I was already getting low 70s on Thursday practice tests and I KNOW I learned enough from the video to pass several more questions. S7g.u.r.u literally saved me, pulling it all together in my mind! 🤯
12pm Went to UPS store, printed the 2 Achievable dump sheets and my 11 pages of notes from the video! I scanned them at every red light on the way 😂
12:59 arrived at test center. Spent 20 minutes reviewing dump sheets and drilling in my mind what to put on the 2 pages they give me for notes (specifically below and in links)
1:20 walk in, first one there.. registration complete at 1:35. To my surprise, they seat me and I can start test immediately!
As soon as the timer started my hands were flying on the 2 laminated sheets they gave me. I spent the first 15 min vigorously writing out things I wanted to reference. 90 minutes left for 85 questions. Watched the timer closely to stay on pace. Used the notepad on the test platform for each question to write out calculations, or break down what each part of the question meant, used critical thinking for answer, marking questions for review when I was stuck between 2 answers. Most importantly, I followed my gut. I knew this stuff! Used calculator for EVERY calculation, even easy ones. Finished all questions with 5 minutes remaining. Reviewed marked questions and changed only 3, if I was SURE my original answer was wrong.
I hit Sum it and hold my breath. 🫢 OMG, does that say PASS?!!! Yes, I actually Passed! 😳 I cried out of happiness and relief, was on cloud 9. I will never cram like this again! S7 and S63 will be better, lol.
SO here’s how you can have a better experience than me if you’re a week or two away and wondering how you can possibly pull this off. YOU CAN DO IT! 💪
TIPS FOR CRASH SIE STUDYING (learn from my mistakes)
1 NOTE TAKING: I’ve always learned best by taking a ton of notes, color coded on a google doc. Taking notes reinforces it in my brain and helps me find ways to remember it for myself. However, if you are crash course Studying for the SIE, you do NOT have time to do this, lol. Honestly I barely looked at those notes in the end.
TIP: Read through the content quickly and only take notes when it tells you it’s likely a testable question! Take all quizzes and tests, REVIEW the quiz/test answers (in PP the answers also give you a brief explanation of the concept) and take light notes on that! Do NOT replace reading with the videos! The first 4 chapters I tried to save time doing this and wondered why I was failing the chapter tests. The reading content had way more info than the video! Don’t shoot yourself in the foot!
2 DON’T SPEND TOO MUCH TIME on EARLY CONCEPTS! The earlier (and for the most part, less valuable - less test questions) content will be reinforced throughout course. Most of the concepts build over the course, so the basics are reinforced later anyway. I wasted several hours!
3 EXPECT 20-25 hours are needed to complete the course/learn the concepts! Give yourself a day on REGULATIONS and 5 hours on OPTIONS , these comprised a LOT of questions on the test, could make or break you!
4 TAKE at least 4 PRACTICE FINALS with a goal of 75%, but if you’re not improving, use the crash course Videos, learn the content! Don’t take 5 more tests in lieu of learning!
5 SPEND A FEW HOURS on (free) ACHIEVABLE DUMP SHEETS and S7g.u.r.u & S7 Whisperer crash course review videos on YouTube! I would not have passed without these! Reviewing them for 4 hours and using them for key points on my tests sheets saved my ass!

Unfortunately, it’s only my opinion based on my studies, personal experience, and pure speculation in some instances, and without delineating which are which, so if you choose to read further, please keep that in mind. Those of us who like to study The Mahatma Letters to A.P. Sinnett, the Letters from the Masters of the Wisdom, and the letters received by Olcott in Old Diary Leaves marvel at the number of notes, messages, and sometimes long letters that were received by numerous aspiring chelas from 1873 to about 1886, filled with encouragement, wisdom, and teachings of the Ancient Wisdom doctrine. Where did these Masters go?
Those particular Mahatmas have continued to progress in their spiritual enlightenment at a pace far faster than that at which most of us are traveling. Some may not be directly associated with human spiritual development at all by now, and if they are, it is from a much greater distance, metaphorically speaking, than the distance between them and aspirants in 1880. Hume and Sinnett were told not to worry because there would always be a few replacements for the Adepts as they progressed to other assignments.
KH had to get special permission from the Mahāchohan to communicate through HPB with Sinnett, Hume, and others. It was given very reluctantly and with more restrictions as time went on. The Adepts were hoping to find one or more Europeans (including people of European descent in other countries) that could take up the work begun by HPB. They tried various potential candidates, beginning with Hume and Sinnett, and invariably they failed, one after another. In the meantime, HPB still had to furnish the specific energy she alone could supply to make communication possible between a Mahatma and those who had none of the special training she had. The two Englishmen were warned early on that if she died, her energy reserve was only enough for two or three letters, at most. As it turned out, it was only one letter that was received after she died in 1891.
It seems that training Europeans to be chelas is not as easy as training certain Asians. Per KH, “You may be, and most assuredly are, our superiors in every branch of physical knowledge; in spiritual sciences we were, are, and always will be — your Masters.” The Asian way of thinking is simply better adapted to grasping spiritual concepts. But obviously it isn't impossible for Europeans to succeed since KH also assured Hume and Sinnett that there were two English Adepts even at that time. So it is possible, just more difficult. This implies that Europeans have to work even harder to achieve the same degree of progress. Not what we wanted to hear, but still good to know.
After HPB died, communications ended abruptly. Her students were bereft. Olcott, who periodically had received direct communications, was confused. He assumed they would continue as before. Damodar, one of the few chelas who had also been able to receive direct communications, had left for Tibet about the same time Blavatsky left India forever. Olcott was convinced that Damodar would return to fill in for her, but that never happened. I realize there are theosophists who believe that communications continued after HPB’s death, but in my opinion, the quality of those messages were markedly different from the quality we find in The Mahatma Letters, so I don’t have much confidence in most of those post-Blavatsky messages.
The original experiment of training one or more European chelas to replace Blavatsky failed. All the thousands of Mahatma-hours devoted to the goal seemingly came to nought. Except that it didn’t. Even if it didn’t succeed immediately, the seeds had been planted, but it would take time for results to be realized. We have a plethora of information now on how to become a chela, but that too is a problem. How do we sift through the mountains of information available, much of it not very useful, to find those few pure nuggets of gold that will point us in the right direction? The answer is simple: discernment. Okay, maybe not that simple, since not many people seem to have developed discernment. This qualification was originally called discrimination, but I will use the term discernment since the meaning of discrimination has changed markedly in the past 100 years. How do we develop discernment?
Again, the answer is simple: Get rid of ego. Now at least we have something we can understand. The answer may be simple, but getting rid of ego is anything but simple. We have to be willing to let go of it, release our attachment to possessions, our quest for power, our love of attention, need for approval, need to be needed, need of validation, our desire for excitement and drama. That’s a lot, but it has to be done, even if it takes more than one lifetime to make it happen, but hopefully some of us started the process in previous lifetimes and are continuing to work on it currently. If anyone thought the path was going to be easy, it isn’t. If it were, it would be nothing special. Anyone with a little perseverance could gain the powers of the advanced chelas without giving up much that we cherish. The path to chelaship is not fun and exciting, certainly not for a long, long time. It is mostly pain and hardship as we give up one thing after another that we thought was so important to our happiness. The more we are attached to material things and the goals of materialism, the more arduous the ascent up the mountain of chelaship.
So far, acquiring discernment and getting rid of ego are two things we can definitely work on. What’s next? Well, purity is absolutely essential. So, becoming a vegetarian, a non-smoker, a non-drinker and not engaging in sex except within an approved form of marriage, right? Well, those will all be required at some point, and even more eventually, but they are not required in the early stages. Purity of motive is number one, then comes purity of ethics. Do we believe it’s okay to lie if it helps achieve a good result? Not according to KH. He said an untruth had never passed his lips in this lifetime and emphasized that being scrupulous in telling the truth is absolutely necessary. How can a Mahatma trust someone who is willing to lie sometimes? They can’t, and more than one aspiring chela failed because they couldn’t pass that test. Sterling ethics are essential for chelaship.
Another requirement is an unconditional love of humanity and all living things, which includes our planet. Is there anyone at all that you hate? If so, you don’t have unconditional love of humanity and don’t truly believe in Brotherhood. Without this foundational belief in Oneness, to the point that we treat everyone as a brother, regardless of their actions, then we haven’t grasped the full meaning of this concept. It’s something else we may need to work on.
Does anyone receive any communications from these Masters anymore? Yes, they do. They are the ones who have been working for more than one or two lifetimes already toward that goal. They are already ahead of most of us who are still struggling to figure out what is important and what is not. Through sheer hard work they have succeeded in developing discernment, reduction of the ego to almost nothing, non-attachment and non-reaction. Through countless hours of meditation, they have achieved oneness, to some extent, with their Higher Self, and glimmers of inspiration and insight are beginning to come through. These faint first fruits of effort eventually become a more reliable channel by which any Mahatma who may have been watching over those efforts can test the connection from time to time, by planting a thought near us to see if we recognize it, and if we do, observe what we do with it. This process can take many, many years, more than one lifetime. If we become impatient and inclined to try a faster method, not only are we doomed to failure, but it will take more than one lifetime to get back on track. Some of us have already experienced that before. The Mahatmas learned a lot from their experiment in the 1880s. One result is that they retreated back behind their curtain of secrecy and anonymity, and it isn’t hard to see why. They and their agents were assailed from all sides, by scientists, religious people, and spiritualists, but their most severe critics were their former friends that they had tried to help to gain understanding. How could they focus on working for the benefit of humanity while being attacked 24 hours a day? It will probably be a long time before they try something like that again. Nothing is out in the open now. It isn’t through large groups that they work, but their efforts are concentrated on a few individuals who work together with a few other individuals. Progress comes through very small groups, not through large organizations. Those large organizations serve a purpose too, to preserve the original teachings and make sure they remain available to the world, and to serve as a starting point for a few brave souls who are willing to make the tremendous effort required for self-transformation into an intelligent, purified, discerning instrument, willing to give up cherished but inaccurate ideas, and motivated by pure love of humanity, to be trained further after lifetimes of effort to attain that intermediate goal of becoming an accepted chela. These are they with whom they communicate.

I suspect lettings agent lying to me about my tenants due to his own prejudices - what to do?
So sorry for this very long post but am so confused at the moment... TLDR: I suspect my estate agent seems to be applying his own prejudices re: my tenants.
Hi, I inherited a house last year and put it out to rent - I work in the States quite often, so I hired a local estate agency to do full property management.
Soon, the agent starts complaining about the tenants, saying they're persistently late with rent, that they need too many repairs, that they're certain the tenants are damaging the property, that they are in £450 of arrears, telling me I should pay them (the agency) for all the repairs the tenants are insisting on, to a total of £1500 plus. This is on top of the £1000 I gave the agency for adhoc repairs. They also ring me each time they think the tenants are late on rent, often calling relentlessly.
I was really confused. Tenants didn't seem like bad sorts when I first met them, they're a couple, both young journalists in reputable places (but early career, which I assume is why they're renting). Really didn't fit any nightmare tenant profile.
Anyway I was in the states for months on end while all this happened and when I got back I arranged to meet the tenant at the house, and the agent tried to strongly discourage it and said it should all go through him. I made the appt regardless, expecting the worst after everything the agent said. However, place is totally spotless (and not in a rushed-clean way), they have nice furnishings in, no smell or any damage whatsoever. So I started to smell a rat with the agent, and I asked the tenant, the woman, some questions about all the complaints. I was shocked at the response:
1) Late Rent: tenancy agreement says rent due on 25th, tenants asked at start of tenancy if they can pay on 30th as that's their payday. I said no problem, and informed the agency in writing and they have it on file that I gave permission.

2. £450 arrears: this was entirely my fault and the agency didn't say a word to me, acting like the tenant was deliberately not paying. Basically I forgot to pay a maintenance ground charge and the grounds company came to the door and claimed it off the tenant (they're not supposed to, it's my responsibility, but they did). Hence tenant took it off rent and asked agent multiple times to inform me. Agent did not do that. 3.Repairs. Some work needed to be done to the exterior of the fence - again, my responsibility and I was NOT INFORMED and my £1000 that I already paid the agency for repairs was untouched. And here's the kicker, or the worst part: the agent told the tenants I was purposely withholding the repairs due to the arrears. Obviously, it wasn't. And this is the fact that made me hit the roof: the tenants proactively completed all the repairs themselves (aka they hired people) and paid them out of pocket. I feel so angry and so embarrassed about this, as all 3 of the repairs they needed were 100% my responsibility as noted in our agreement. The agent had gone on and on about them being "problem tenants" while in reality they spent hundreds fixing someone else's house that they'll leave in 2 years, just because they didn't want the place to have severe damage (fence was going to fall). 

The agent also put in his inspection report a couple months ago that property was "filthy and stinking of cooking" BTW, and sent that email to the tenants too. House seemed very clean to me, and the lady was cooking at the time but she was making brownies, not boiling piss. Again, he SENT THE TENANTS the same report calling the house filthy, when tenants probably knew full well it wasn't... and of my details were not passed to tenants so everything goes through the agency.
I know I know it sounds like a hesaid shesaid situation, or "why would the agent do all this", but I immediately got my answer when I googled the agent to check on his phone number. His FB page came up, I clicked on it (pure curiosity lol) and the bloke is a complete EDL racist, swastikas and all, and in his profile every 10th post was anti race mixing and how he thinks it's not right that Asian foreigners come here and "dilute the British gene pool", taking homes and jobs away from Brits etc. Genuinely deranged stuff, way beyond normal conservatism, he literally used the term "crossbreed" and "mongrel" to refer to dual heritage kids.
Reddit, the tenants are a mixed race couple.
I am appalled and just humiliated, I didnt think all this was happening and I feel awful for not checking with the tenants all of last year to hear their side. I have no idea what to do, the tenants are to be there for 2 more years so I can't exactly fire the agency can I? What would I even say to them? I don't think the FB posts would fly as they'll probably argue that's his personal view and has nothing to do w his professionalism, but believe me when I say those posts are not the product of a normal mind and I am convinced after seeing them that his view colours how he views my tenants and clearly wants them out. Especially as I need to be back in the states soon as well. Just at such a loss, any advice at all will be really helpful.

This is my first time using IngramSpark (honestly, my first time submitting a custom cover to a print on demand site in general) and I just want to make absolutely 100% sure that I'm understanding the instructions for the cover template correctly.
When I save and upload it as a PDF with my design on it, am I supposed to leave the white portion with all the measurements and info intact and visible in the final export? I'm like 90% sure the answer is yes, but the instructions are just sparse enough that my anxious brain is making me question things.

The PSE issued suspensions to three companies [link] prior to the open of trade on Friday morning for failure to submit FY23 Annual Reports. The three companies suspended are Phoenix Petroleum [PNX 4.17 ▼0.2%; 0% avgVol], Chelsea Logistics [C 1.30 ▲4.0%; 0% avgVol], and Philippine Infradev [INFRA 0.53 ▲1.9%; 0% avgVol]. AgriNurture [ANI 0.62 ▲8.8%; 305% avgVol] narrowly avoided suspension by submitting its Annual Report 38 minutes before the PSE’s suspension deadline. The ANI FY23 Annual Report disclosure erroneously reports a net income improvement of 1560% to ₱146 million, instead of a ₱146 million net loss, perhaps this oversight comes from a behind-the-scenes race to submit before the deadline.
  
  • MB: I’m married to an accountant who did the auditing grind for years, so I know that it’s not easy to put these reports together; they’re complex and knock-ons from problems in any of the subsidiaries can cause problems that ripple up the chain and back down. That being said, producing these annual reports is something of a bare-minimum condition of public corporate life. Every management group rides its accounting department and its auditing team into the dirt to get its quarterly and annual reports out on time. I don’t have any inside knowledge into why PNX, C, and INFRA are in this position, but I listen to the silence from these management groups. Good teams communicate with their minority shareholders in times of uncertainty, and a trading suspension is a time of great uncertainty for retail investors.
• [NEWS] **Ayala Corp sells remains of its MWC holdings to Enrique Razon for ₱14.5-B... Ayala Corp [AC 620.00 ▲1.3%; 131% avgVol] [link] disclosed that its subsidiaries, Michigan Holdings and Philwater Holdings, would sell their combined holdings in Manila Water Company [MWC 26.60 ▼1.5%; 123% avgVol] to Trident Water Company Holdings (TWC), which is owned by MWC’s current owner, Enrique Razon. The combined value of the two sales to TWC is ₱14.5 billion. The block of shares coming to TWC through Michigan Holdings was already processed and paid-for (~₱12.9 billion), and the remaining ₱1.6 billion worth of shares from Philwater Holdings will be purchased in installments over the next five years. AC confirmed that it will have no post-transaction common share interest in MWC, and that its voting stake will be “nil”.
  
  • MB: In a weird way, the transfer of ownership and control of MWC from the Zobel Family to the Razon Family is one of the only lasting “achievements” of the Duterte administration. I put “achievements” in quotation marks because it’s not clear how the President’s overreach into the public markets benefitted anyone other than the obvious (MWC’s current owner). As longtime readers of MB will know I have a deep respect for Mr. Razon’s business acumen and operational quality, but I don’t know that MWC customers have necessarily felt any change as a result of this transfer, and I don’t know that minority shareholders have felt any change either. So maybe it was just Mr. Razon in the right place at the right time while Duterte rode the media waves of threatening the Zobels with death and dismemberment? Yeah, it was a weird time.

• [NEWS] Alternergy conducts first public Q&A since IPO... Alternergy [ALTER 0.70 ▲1.4%; 159% avgVol] presented its Q1 results on Wednesday as part of the PSE’s STAR Investor Day event, and MB was there to document its first public Q&A with institutional and retail investors since its IPO over a year ago. For me, the most interesting component of any STAR presentation is the Q&A, because it’s where we get the chance to hear the management team talk outside of the the cold forensics of the financial statements to address the hope, fear, optimism, and pessisim of the average investor.
  
  • On enhancing shareholder value: The ALTER team said that it’s focus is on controlling what it can control, and that as a developer, it does everything that it can to complete projects “within the timeline and committed budget”, increase its pipeline, and build good relationships with stakeholders.
  • On its growth strategy: ALTER said that its “DNA is a developer”, and therefore its “preference is brownfield development” as opposed to acquisitions. (MB note: “Brownfield” means development on land that has been previously used for some other purpose. “Greenfield” would be development on untouched land.) The management team said that it is open to being “opportunistic” with acquisitions, but that its overall focus is on “looking for projects from the ground and building them toward completion.”
  • On outlook of renewables market: “The power industry is really at the point where there is a sustained pressure towards a price increase.” The ALTER team said that there’s a shortage of power supply, and what existing supply there is will come under pressure as power plants age or weather phenomena disrupt operations. ALTER said that it’s strategy is to simply grow its portfolio into this market gap, especially over the next two years.
  • On wind vs solar: The ALTER team was asked whether it was intentional to be “more exposed to wind rather than solar”, and ALTER responded by saying that while both wind and solar are scalable, they “like wind” because it generates more electricity per installed capacity. As the ALTER team put it: “For instance, if we build a 50 MW solar, you’ll only need a 25 MW wind project to match the amount of energy that we will be generating.” ALTER said that wind is also less intensive in terms of land use to generate the same amount of energy, and that its analysis shows that wind projects generate more cash flow than solar projects.
  • On starting to distribute dividends: *One question asked when ALTER would start paying dividends, and the ALTER team responded (after a laugh) that it’s “all about resource allocation”. ALTER said that at this stage, it’s a growth company, and that it would like to use its resources to build a “sizeable portfolio over the medium term” with the goal of “increasing shareholder value.” ALTER said that once it has achieved that goal, “dividend payments would not be far behind.
    • MB:Kudos to any management team that takes questions from the public. It’s not easy to be this communicative and transparent, but as a long-term investor, this kind of insight into the management team’s thinking and analysis of their own data and the market as a whole is important. If your trading style is technical, ALTER’s analysis of wind versus solar isn’t going to matter to you at all, but if your thesis is based on bets in the power generation sector, that response might trigger some research that could be helpful. Overall I’d say that the ALTER team did very well. It was clear that they were nervous, but over time I’m sure the team will become more comfortable with answering the questions and interacting with the investing community in such a person-to-person way. Well done, ALTER!

Hello everyone,
I simply can't find an answer for this, maybe because googling it is kinda difficult.
I'm refining my [[Zask, Skittering Swarmlord]] deck at the moment and want to add [[Mortuary]] to it, because it infinites with [[Verdant Succession]], but I'm wondering if this also works with Zask on the field. Resolve order would be Mortuary > Verdant Succession > Zask, so I would still have the mill without it cancelling the loop, so it can go on indefinitely.
Now my question is, will the triggered creature still be tucked by Zask after Verdant Succession put it back on the field after Mortuary topdecks it? Or, in other words, if a creature would be put somewhere else from a death trigger, does that still happen after another trigger already moved it or does it still have to be in the grave?
I love finding answers to specific questions on this sub, I really appreciate y'all for sharing your ancient knowledge with peasants like me. I've just been playing for a little over a year now, and this is my favorite hobby at the moment, so go easy on me for not knowing this.
Bonus question: I try to find clever names for my decks and the best I could come up with for this one was Grave Consequences, because I managed to get 100% recursion (it's not just lands and insects, don't worry, but still about 90% of it). Do you guys have any suggestions or are you fine with this idea? Thanks again.
