Hello this is my first post in here, but I'm 19 and my skin has been getting itchy, burning, and has almost had me in tears at some point. Anyway I have every single symptom that is with CU even though I haven't been formally diagnosed. For example in any time my body heat gets raised like being anxious, eating spicy things recently, and even laughing or sneezing along with the regular ones like being in a hot room, outside when it's too warm, or even doing mild labor, it's so painful and I can't push through it and just being cold doesn't suffice. My Primary doctor didn't know what to do so he referred me to a dermatologist and she didn't know what to do, and I'm going to a hematologist in July because I have Sickle Cell Trait, but I got a blood test recently and I'm healthy and I also have no other ailments or addictions and I also have healthy blood pressure. I can't even do mild lifting or even help my mum clean at this one job because it's so hot in the place she cleans, and I used to work at a fast food place earlier last year, but I couldn't do it now due to being an anxious wreck and just moving around in general any more gets me to flare up and even just sitting in the sun gets it acting up. I've tried so many things like taking antihistamines and they do absolutely nothing and I'm not sure if even going to the hematologist will even work or give me a clear answer. So I'm just wondering if I could ever file for disability because I get it every day and it impedes on everything I do and I can't even do simple tasks anymore without flaring up and having to take LONG breaks. Sorry for the long paragraph, but thank you if you respond.

I think we found it in our cat very early, almost by accident when a gum bite wouldn’t heal. Despite that though my wife has decided she doesn’t want to treat it out of risk of causing more suffering in the process and I respect that.
Now that the biopsy has healed the cat seems remarkably normal. Enjoying how much attention and other spoiling they’re getting and eating well except for some drooling.
Just not sure how long to expect this will last for. Feels almost like waiting for a bomb to go off, but not knowing when it will.

During the pandemic, I “worked” at home, which meant I spent my days yoloing into spacs and deconstructing stuff like Motley Fool and Stansberry Research reports for their stock picks. The good news is there are some devoted investors out there who have made it their jobs to take apart ads and reveal secret stocks.
If you’re looking for some plays, here are the results—the revealed stocks—from some recently reverse-engineered ads. The folks who did all this great work are Travis Johnson, who runs a fantastic online magazine called Stock Gumshoe. It is the only magazine I am subscribed to, and have been since 2020. I get a lot—if not most—of my investment ideas from Stock Gumshoe. Every single trade or investment idea that I’ve had from Gumshoe has been successful. Every single one. Every trade I’ve made because of shit I heard on YouTube has been a turd. I’m pumping this magazine because it works.
Alongside of Travis Johnson, we have Dylan Rieger. Just like Johnson, Rieger reverse-engineers ads, but on YouTube. He is prolific. His videos are roughly 10 minutes long, and they’re packed with well-curated information on each of the companies he reveals. If you’re thinking, “Why would I read a web magazine if I could just watch youtube videos?” Rieger’s videos are excellent, but Travis’s writing… he will teach you how to think. “But I don’t need to change the way I think about the market.” If you’re still fucking reading this, then chances are you suck at trading and investing. (I can already feel one or two of you typing, “Actually, ….”)

This focuses on defense industry AI-powered satellites, particularly speculations about defense contracts with the US Space Force. 2024.05.20 06:00 Basaraski Dog won't eat anything. Tried everything, please help
My 7 year old Bernese Mountain Dog (Male/118lb) has been through a lot the last couple of weeks. It all started when we found a lump on his left hind leg (kneecap area). Got a needle aspirate of it, came back inconclusive. Then got a punch biopsy done of the lump. Two days after the biopsy he started to not eat regularly, but still did a tiny bit on his own when given something tasty. Then that turned into not eating at all, and he was really out of it. Took him to the ER last monday (5/13) and he was diagnosed with Anaplasmosis, and anemia. His platelets were also very low. He was set on a 30-day course of Doxycycline (550mg /day). The next day the biopsy came back as cancer. The exact type is unknown yet, but it's listed as a differential diagnosis of histiocytic sarcoma, large cell lymphoma, and poorly differentiated round cell tumor. Further tests have been sent out and hopefully come back soon. We also had chest x-rays done at our vet after this news, and they saw nothing in terms of the cancer spreading to his chest. His bloodwork was also done, I'll post it down below, but that was on Wed (5/15). The Doxy has been making him extremely nauseous, and he will not eat a single thing on his own. We've tried everything. Boiled chicken, steak, wet food, dry food, snacks, bacon, even McDonalds... he wants none of it. We've also given him cerenia, and tried two different appetite stimulants (Entyce / Mirtazapine) and none of that works. He seems disgusted by the smell of any food. We also give him carafate 1 hour before the doxy to help with the nausea. We also switched his Doxy dose to twice daily rather than all at once. Our local vet advised this, although the ER said to do once daily (This has made him much less nauseous after taking it, but still not eating). He has also seemingly had a fever since last Monday. It has slightly come down, but has been at a steady 103.5 for the last few days, only once dipping below 103, but then it went back up the next morning (could be our at home thermometer?). I feel he is stuck in an endless loop. Needs the Doxy to cure the anaplasmosis, but will not eat on it, and isn't getting better. He's drinking water just fine, and using the bathroom fine. We've been forced to syringe feed him everynight in the fear of him getting no food, plus he needs some food with the Doxy. We've been making a puree of different foods, and tonight gave him an 'Under the weather - high calorie gel' in hopes to get some needed nutrients in him.
