I legit think about suicide a lot with my low self esteem.
I bought this cool mug on my own and I feel like it represents a lot to me as a personal identity kind of thing.
I felt like if I spilled the cup fill of tea on my bed by accident, that I would throw the mug and break it from my hair trigger anger (inherited from my family).
Then I would cry about it.
Over all of that, something that would happen in all a matter of probably 10 seconds, I thought, "wow, that would make me want to hang myself." Like I think that would send me over the edge.
Definitely a lot of anger and abandonment issues growing up.
It's sensitive of me to react this way, but the only option I can see stemming from this is death by hanging. I honestly feel like I need to throw this mug away, just so I wouldn't risk getting to that point.
Like, I can see why a lot of people with CPTSD avoid doing things for themselves and turn to isolation, at the risk of it being taken away in some uncontrollable situation.

UF Pro Striker HT combat pants — I believe these are size 33/32. Multicam. A bit rare to come by here in the States but they're very feature-rich. The seat has had a repair through the stretch material and should hold up over normal use. $160
BFG CHLK belt — Size 32 in multicam. I think this is one of the older versions. Very well-built but I ended up finding something that fit my needs better. Does not include the inner belt. $120
Tyr Tactical Gunfighter Belt Rigger Style V2 — Size medium in multicam. I believe this model is now discontinued. Lightly used. It's a comfy load-rated belt that swaps out the usual cobra buckle for one like you see on rigger's/uniform belts. $80

Hey there! I'm a 36-year-old married dude with kids, who's pretty laid-back and introverted, and full of ADHD. While I'm a bit of a homebody, I do enjoy getting out into the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest when I can muster the energy (thanks to my wife's gentle nudges). I have a knack for humor and love swapping dumb jokes – especially the classic dad variety. Laughter is the best medicine, as they say! In terms of hobbies, I'm into art, particularly drawing and currently learning to paint. I'm also a lifelong learner and have a passion for exploring new things (my next project is cross stitching). Anime and manga are my biggest current interests, and I don't mind indulging in them with or without my kids (who can resist a good anime binge, am I right?). Some of my currents (and past favs) include My Hero Academia, DBZ, Full Metal Alchemist, One-Punch Man, and One Piece. One of my dreams is to write and illustrate my very own graphic novel someday. When I'm not immersed in my creative pursuits, you can probably find me glued to YouTube, either soaking up new knowledge or laughing at dumb videos. Podcasts are another favorite of mine, especially those in the realms of comedy and learning – bonus points if they involve Dungeons & Dragons shenanigans. Alright this is gonna be a rant about how mashima writes Lucy so if this isn’t your cup of tea you probably wont enjoy this post sorry.
Every Arc, Lucy is always forced into the role of beaten down, damsel or never given the spotlight to really shine. The only time we ever see her at full potential is tartaros arc and alvarez arc (in the main series i havent read 100yq so im not gonna be talking about it here). However even in tartaros there was bs moves made against her to stop her from fighting.
Like up against jackal, how she chased after him to battle him yet we never got Lucy vs Jackal. Why? Because mashima pulled this bs move of restricting lucy yet again. Holding her back by causing Jackal to hold two people hostage. We NEVER see Natsu put in the same situations as her, its ALWAYS Lucy.
Or with the pheonix priestess movie where I not ONCE saw Lucy fight. She’s always running away, she can’t even catch the gees guy because he magically slips into this random crack in an alleyway because pLoT. I just wanna see her be able to win, like that whole movie I don’t remember a single time she was actually given a moment to just ACTUALLY contribute to the action.
Same with the grand magic games, where she was about to perform urano metria and win (as she should) yet mashima did the same thing of pulling a bs cheapshot with some lamo canceling her spell out of nowhere. It just makes no sense. And we NEVER see this happen to any other characters. We don’t see Natsu’s flames get abolished trying to fight sting and rogue, we don’t see Gray’s ice suddenly melting when he tries to fight, we don’t see wendy having her wind suddenly not work.
It’s ALWAYS Lucy. The shows official punching bag. Fanservice? Just throw Lucy in front of the camera. Characters need a reason to fight? Just have Lucy get beaten up. Need a villian to have a motive? Just have Lucy get kidnapped or her keys stolen. Like literally when do any of the other characters get inconvenienced? I can only think of one time the other characters get the Lucy treatment of being kidnapped and it’s tartaros arc (my fave arc as a lucy stan) but pretty much it’s always only Lucy getting inconvenienced.
AND SIDE NOTE Aquarius just randomly deciding to dip during the tournament MID FIGHT (the water tournament in GMG). I know this is in character for her, BUT LIKE this was just mashima’s excuse to be able to torture Lucy yet again. I mean come on, I get it’s for comedy and all but I’m tired of Lucy being the butt of the joke. Why can’t we just have a moment for her to actually be able to win. And I’m pretty sure Aquarius actually tries to do her job so why would she just dip during the middle of it? I don’t know it just irks me how mashima always finds a way to disarm Lucy (even having villians take her keys too.)
Even in the FIRST EPISODE her keys get tossed aside for plot reasoons! So natsu can come and save the day11!2? It would’ve been so cool if Lucy could’ve fought alongside him and he recognised her as someone with potential to join fairytail. Rather than just having her stand idly by. And in mt hakobe how natsu just magically kicks taurus away whilst Lucy was trying to fight, because we cant have lucy being a character whos actually taken seriously now can we? Nope! She just always has to be the butt of the joke. And in Galuna, where that pink haired girl magically had lucys spirits work against her for just so we can have the obligatory lucy torture yet again. In the lullaby arc what does lucy even do i dont even remember? It’s happy whos the one who suggests for her to use virgo, might as well just give happy the keys at this point. Maybe mashima would actually let them be used for once if happy had them
It’s the same garbage every arc, and it sucks because I love Lucy her magic has such potential to be a powerhouse. We’ve seen her really flourish but the only time she ever gets the chance to flourish is when Mashima realises he’s written himself into a corner and actually HAS to use Lucy’s character. The only times are when he realises no one else can come save her so he actually has to try to use her magic narratively. Like in tartaros (my fave lucy moment) where she FINALLY gets to have her own moment to shine. And against brandish because Natsu is dying of dragon seed cancer!?1?2 oh noes! Looks like Lucy actually has to fight! (W fight by the way one of my fave lucy moments, I was so giddy when I saw her fighting like that for the first time.)
But yeah, I guess I’m just salty that Lucy is constantly thrown aside in favor of Natsu or Erza or sometimes Gray. Lucy deserved better. Sorry for this rant being all over the place, it just saddens me to see Lucy being treated like a joke the entire series. We were robbed.

I hate to out myself, but I recently went into a Loblaws near me for a specific Ben&Jerry’s ice cream that was out of stock at Sobeys & Walmart (not many retailers in my area). Anyway, item’s that are completely sold out in Sobeys & Walmart, are fully stocked in Loblaws (i.e. Tazo Tea Bags, Raspberries, Blackberries, etc.) I overheard a lady next to me questioning if the eggs were still on sale, as there were so many left - I informed her that they actually were on sale for PC Members at the time but it was likely due to the ongoing boycott, which she was unaware of. Keep doing what you’re doing, even on pricier items like Tazo Tea Bags that they have on sale for cheaper than Walmart, remains untouched in their stores.. and they’re typically sold out everywhere around me. Anyway, just thought I’d post this observation, I’ve been trying to avoid them as much as possible but the one in my downtown area was a shell of it’s former self when i was in there recently. Absolutely empty!

As the title says, I'm on the lookout for some new friends to share adventures with right here in the city. I love diving into new experiences, especially when it involves sharing passions and interests with awesome people.
I work as a graphic designer, I'm a casual gamer and comic book geek, and I usually spend my weekends walking around the city and checking out any new spots. Sports and most anime might not be my cup of tea, but hey, we've all got our quirks, right? I'm looking to properly climb into a rabbit hole on tea. I'm already a big pourover guy but not every moment is a coffee moment. I'm talking jasmine tea, I'm talking weird herbals, I'm talking whatever obscure knowledge is going to help me make a bangin cup of tea and will get my pushing up my glasses like a know-it-all scumbag every time I see tea served by people who aren't knowledgeable about it. I'm talking about being the guy in the ProZD clip that coffee jokes about before they go looking for coffee grown an exact altitute in a specific mountain range that naturally tastes like blueberries with a hint of goat liver if you pulverize the coffee cherries, strain out the fleshy parts, and leave the beans to ferment in the goop for 15 days, 7 hours and 32 minutes before they take one sip and pour it out if they taste that the coffee grounds were 3 microns too small on average.
Help bury me in the tea rabbit hole and leave me there.

Gotta get some of this stuff outta here to make room for new stuff.
1) Portico68 V2 prototype with Miami Poish prototype keyset. Both are one-of-a-kind. Keyboard PCB is production - same PCB that is in the Portico Black Label aluminum keyboard kits. Case is pretty good quality, but the mold had a little shrinkage issues that were still being worked on, most evident in the bottom row spacing between the keycap bottom edge and the casing. No interference, just not a fully even gap clear across.
Only the depicted keycaps are included. Fully working, including VIA support. $75 shipped CONUS.
2) Cannonkeys NicePBT Type 6. Used for a little bit, just not my cup of tea. $60 shipped CONUS.
3) Maritime prototype. As pictured. $60 shipped CONUS.
4) Portico75 "Tarheel blue" prototype. Only the case was a prototype. Just like the 68 above, there are some shrinkage issues due to the different plastic type. Includes PBT Notion keyset, full set. Not my cup of tea. $150 shipped CONUS.
5) BBOX60 + JTK Tianwen Mars case and keyset with plate and PCB - everything you need to build aside from switches. $75 shipped CONUS.
6) TKC1800 built in OG 1800 case with Gateron Browns and Dolch plate (supports switch opening), hotswap LED sockets for indicator LEDs, pigtail female USB connector, and includes prototype Cherry Apple dyesub keyset. $200 shipped CONUS.

I have a doctors appointment Wednesday, so I am being checked, but wanted to ask if others were having this experience to get a more rounded view as I do not want to jump to conclusions.
3rd week of 5mg.
Weeks 1-2-3 of 5mg I inject Saturday morning.
Sunday morning, after breakfast, I am having pretty strong pain the very top of my stomach. lots of noise and can feel movement in the area like little gurgles, it is filling me with wind and I am burping gassy burps (not sulphur) a lot, after this the pain eases slightly, but then builds again. I also get pretty severe acid reflux and usually an upset stomach. This pain I am having is bad, it goes on through Sunday night so I do not get a lot of sleep. It is usually there on Monday and eases off on Tuesday, then I am fine again until Sunday.
I do not have a temperature, and it isn't stabbing pains.
I have suffered with Gerd for 21 years and take 40mg esomeprazole daily, I also use Gaviscon and have milk of magnesia here.
Do these sound like symptoms of pancreatitis? I am hoping not as Mounjaro is working well for me. I just wonder if I am having a severe acid reaction after the injection. I have just had a cup of tea, skimmed milk, no sugar and I can feel it getting a tiny bit worse again, but this can also happen with reflux.
I know none of us are medical professionals here, so not asking for medical advice, and as I say I am at the doctors on Wednesday, I just wanted to ask if anyone is experiencing anything similar.
EDIT to add I had my gall bladder removed in 2020 so not gall bladder related.
