I composed a list of ideas that Etienne can potentially be used in to introduce new stratagies that have previously been impossible to use. His ability to give camo and negate bloon immunties opens up so much potential, but mostly for lategame stratagies.
Note: If you place Etienne on round 1, then at the start of round 12, his level 8 will cost $4,280. This is $1330 more than a 0-2-0 village. This is because he presumably levels up at the same speed as Quincy, just like in BTD6. It also looks like he either starts off with 2 drones instead of just 1, or gets another drone at level 2.
Also, his scouting ability is likely to be at level 4 judging by how he has it on round 6 in the update video.
Towers most affected by Etienne:
Tack - Can now solo rounds with Ring of Fire with no need for camo or purple popping power. Tack Glue Super is likely to become meta.
Bomb- Top path no longer needs bottom path to hit blacks, + can solo the rounds on its own due to not needing camo.
Boomer- Can solo rounds all on its own with no need for camo.
Ice- No more camo and white immunity allows 0-1-4 ice or ice shards + Artic Wind to be used as solo round 11-17 defense.
Glue- Opens up Glue to be used in numerous stratagies that it couldn’t otherwise fit in due to lack of camo. Particularly with towers like Druid, Super, Boat, and Tack.
Boat? - May not be strong enough to defend bloons on its own, but perhaps a 2-4-0 could do good enough? Most likely too expensive/weak though. May also do well with glue.
Super- One of the most impacted by this change. It can now be paired with glue in so many new stratagies to preform incredibly well lategame, such as Druid-Glue-Super.
Druid- No need for camo or purple popping power means that you can potentially use a 4-0-2 druid to solo the rounds with, as well as allowing for Druid to be used with more supporting towers such as glue. Druid-Spac-Farm may also become viable.
Engi- Can now be used as a solo tower for the early rounds since you no longer have to rely on its garbage camo detection. Sentry Expert is also no longer blocked by zebras, purples, or leads.

(this is a remake of a post I made in the past) so, the tower I will suggest is my original idea that I made so I will tell about this idea that I had made so, here I go. Please note ninja kiwi that I have remodeled it to some extent for top path so it may change this also includes the other paths. Shock tower bio: Dr monkey's invention has helped this tower use the shocks it uses to fight. Can pop purple bloons
Top path: 1-0-0 stronger shock: pops a additional layer with a +4 pierce 2-0-0 electovison:grants camo detection (3-0-0 anti-camo tek:grants camo detection to towers in range of tower. 4-0-0 super sonar:camo Bloons detected in radius will lose camo for 5 seconds until popping after that. 5-0-0 camo-be-gone:the camo Bloons will be unmatched with permanent camo removal (grants all shock towers with a permanent camo removal (when it is granted any other paths will have a camo Bloon temporarily lose it's camo when hit) .
Middle path 0-1-0 static charge:a static charge strengthens adding extra pierce . 0-2-0 static cling:every 30 seconds Bloons cling together for 3 seconds and the camo is removed;grants camo detection. 0-3-0 static cloud: static cloud appears granting shock tower a speed boost and a powerful cling that makes Bloons up to m.o.a.b stick together for 5 seconds. 0-4-0 static storm: ability static storm: the cloud splits into two strong clouds that pop Bloons and makes Bloons up to d.d.t cling together for 15 seconds. 0-5-0 bloontonium storm: the Storm gets stronger letting zomg's cling together for 10 seconds and b.a.d's clinging together for 5 seconds. Grants damage to all Bloon types.and a permanent +5 speed boost.
Bottom path: 0-0-1 greater reach: increases range by 4 0-0-2 even stronger reach: buffs attack and increases range. 0-0-3 volt whip:adds a tentacle attachment for increased attack. 0-0-4 volt assist:gives a increased range to towers in range and gives shock towers a increased attack. 0-0-5. Volt defense:elite defense grants this tower a permanent speed boost and pierce buff to all towers for elite defense for any lives lost (boosted in c.h.i.m.p.s)

What if Dart monkey was in Smash Bros.
The dart monkey would be a lightweight character, have 2 jumps, and would be able to wall jump and cling.
Basics:
Jab- Throws a dart straight forward that would make opponents flinch and pop into the air very slightly afterwards.
Dash attack- would have the dart monkey dash forward a little only to trip on some vines and make the dart monkey fall with collision, this move can make the dart monkey fall off the stage for a few seconds before you can move again so be careful when you time it!!
Forward tilt- pulls out a sniper and puts on a sniper beret, and shoots a bullet straight forward a bit then shatters into shrapnel (opponent gets launched by bullet and flinch from shrapnel)
Up tilt- pulls out a 2xx Druid’s staff and points it upwards to stun opponents hit by it.
Down tilt- would hop up and place down Geraldo’s blade trap under itself and sends out 1 blade on each side that can pierce multiple opponents.
Side smash- puts a bomb shooter infront of itself that fires out a small but deadly explosion, it doesn’t travel very far nor fast but is devastating if it lands.
Up smash- puts on a mortar helmet and fires a mortar shell straight upwards, it works similarly to snake’s up smash.
Down smash- puts on a wizard cap and charges up a shimmer that surrounds the dart monkey in poisonous fog that launch opponents in the shimmer range when released, also linger a bit after the smash concludes and poisons any fighter hit by the attack.
Neutral air- holds out a tack shooter that shoots out a tiny barrage of 8 tacks that don’t deal much damage but can be fired quickly in succession.
Forward air- pulls out the staff of dragon’s breath and blows at the staff making 3 flames appear from high to low.
Back air- throws a fast red hot boomerang behind himself that has good knockback.
Up air- uses that same staff from the up tilt and swings it above himself, stunning anyone hit before launching them.
Down air- pulls out a spiked ball and drops it straight downwards, spiking opponents at the start of the move and can roll down slopes.
Grabs and throws:
Grab Jab- puts on a Druid’s cloak and enwraps the foe In vines and pokes the opponent using a sharpened stick.
Forward and Back throw- puts the foe on a catapult and launches them into the designated direction.
Up throw- puts on a mortar cap and puts the foe into the mortar that launches them high into the air.
Down throw- puts on the flash bomb ninja’s mask throws a flash bomb at the foe and stuns them for a few seconds.
Special attacks:
Neutral special- pulls out a tower wheel which change the special attacks in a way that relates to the tower for some time, then it needs to charge for some time after used kinda like shulk’s monardo arts. Being ninja, engineer, ice, and sniper monkey, along with an option to return back to normal.
Side special- for dart, it uses a crossbow and charges up a crit shot that deals more damage the longer it is charged, it can also be saved for later use. (Goes away if tower type gets changed) For ninja, throws out a bundle of seeking ninja stars. For engineer, puts down a sentry gun that will automatically shoot other players nearby. They can be destroyed after 15% of damage and you can have 2 down at a time. (These stay even after you change tower type) For ice, pulls out a cyro cannon that shoots out ice bombs that can freeze foes in place. Finally for sniper, shoots out a stunning bullet that stuns hit fighters.
Up special- For dart, he hops into a monkey ace and flys into the designated direction, goes into free fall after a little while or if the ace breaks from 25% damage combined and you can press A to shoot dart in all directions. For ninja, he uses a flash bomb that works a lot like sheik’s up special but it can stun. For engineer, he puts down a bloon trap that can trap opponents for a little while. For ice, he uses snowstorm and launches himself in the air (like hero’s up special) and pushes other fighters away from the snowstorm damaging them a bit in the process. For sniper, he will call in a special popperations heli pilot and travel into the foreground then you have 3 seconds to select a travel point. (Look I had a hard time finding one for this one so you can only use it once every 20 seconds)
Down special- Dart monkey will gain a movement and attack speed buff from the primary training village, lasts for 15 seconds and cannot be used for another 15 seconds after the effect wears off. Ninja will gain a damage and speed buff from berserker brew depending on how long you drink it for (max of 5 seconds charge, lasts for 15 seconds and has cooldown of 20 seconds). Engineer will stop and overclock itself or a teammate with very fast movement and attack speed for 10 seconds (has cooldown of 30 seconds and there will be an indicator on the teammate you wanna buff similar to the tower select when using overclock ingame). For ice, it will make an ice shard blast around itself damaging and lower opponents defense by some amount for a short time. Finally, sniper will call in a supply drop that will heal about 10-15% of your HP. This can only be used every 30 seconds.
Final smash- Will call upon the true sun god and make any opponents in the sun light be put infront of the true sun god and take lots of damage from the sun beams and avatar guard’s light rays, getting launched when the cinematic ends.
Victory poses and taunts:
Down taunt and 1st victory screen will have the dart monkey sitting there eating a banana. Taunt 2 would have the dart monkey firing darts at Bloons. Taunt 3 would have the dart monkey mimic its favorite superhero’s pose from Btd5, Supermonkey!! The 2nd victory screen would have the dart monkey loading a spiked ball into a catapult, firing them at the Bloons in the distance and waving at the camera looking exhausted. The final victory screen would have a bunch of the btd6 towers group up and pose looking at the screen.
I hoped you enjoyed this concept, this took 4 hours without break since my drafts load for some reason. (All of this was typed on phone and now my fingers hurt)

2024.02.07 22:24 snek_001 Since the sub paragon dropped, I decided to update my old paragon concepts.

Bomb shooter paragon: Anti-bloon missile system Fires extreme long range missiles that deal massive damage to MOAB-class bloons, and create recursive clusters. The missile can very briefly stun BADs with the main explosion, and recursive blasts can stun all normal bloons. Ability fires off a massive missile that stuns any bloons caught in its blast for 10 seconds and deals massive damage, especially to bosses.
Has an improved version of bomb blitz, that triggers at every 1/4 of the map similar to how comache defense calls in mini helis. Each point can only be triggered once per round. It also still triggers when lives are lost.
Tack shooter parago: plasma blade zone Fires an insane number of plasma blades with no range limit and creates a massive plasma ring. Ability fires out even more blades and extends the ring map wide.
Ice monkey paragon: Glacial maximum Creates a wind that slows down and pops all bloons in range. Also fires icicles that can freeze white and MOAB-class bloons, with MOABs being frozen in place like normal bloons and others being slowed heavily. Bloons popped by the Glacial maximum or while frozen leave ice spikes on the road.
Attacks make all bloons take a lot more after being frozen, and take even more damage while frozen. Ability is freezes all bloons on screen and applies full debuffs to them.
Glue gunner paragon: G.O.R.I.L.L.A. glue Fires super corrosive anti-MOAB glue at every bloon in range. The glue soaks through all layers including MOAB ones and is permanent. Also when pop bloons leave behind blobs of glue that deal damage to and slowdown other bloons further. Ability covers the track in blobs of glue similar to the spike storm ability and glues all bloons. Glued bloons also take more damage from other attacks.
Sniper monkey paragon: MOAB huntmaster Fires tracer rounds that deal damage to every bloon they pass through and can be shot through obstacles. Causes MOAB class bloons to be stunned briefly, and take more damage and move slower permanently. Deals bonus damage to BADs and Bosses. Grants a buff to all sniper monkeys making the shoot faster and deal more damage.
Ability gives a massive supply drop and boost all military monkeys' attack speed and range for a short period of time.
Heli pilot paragon: Air supremacy popsprey Looks like the The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey. Has 2 powerful rotors that shred and blow back bloons, and is able to push MOAB-class bloons. Has 4 powerful laser guns, 2 missile pods, and 2 main plasma gatling cannons cannons. Can door gunner upto 3 monkeys, and automatically drops down spec ops monkeys, with there always being 3 on screen. Can pick up certain tier 5s as doorgunners, like the crossbow master or bloon solver, and can move any tower.
Mortar monkey paragon: Grand Howitzer Gives 'follow touch' option to all mortars. Fires massive shells that burn and stun everything they hit, and break off fortification from most bloons. Has 2 abilities, improved pop and awe, and a single target shell that is aimed manually. The single target shell can break fortification from BADs, and stuns all bloons, including BADs briefly, and deals insane damage to bosses.
Dartling gunner paragon: Dartanium beast Fires a massive death ray, and bursts of homing missiles in a similar manner to buckshot or grape shot. All attacks inflict an improved version of laser shock that slowdown bloons and does more damage. Ability fires missiles in all directions and makes the beam fire in a 45° cone rather than a line.
Super monkey paragon: Supreme deity Has the unique ability of absorbing any towers in range to add to it's degree. Fires at upto 3 targets at the same time and sends out a short range elimination wave every few seconds. Can see and shoot through obstacles and has global range with the main attack. Has all of the true sun god abilities from each tower type and the legend of the night shield, and can move other towers with dark shift. Vengeful variantt requires 3 other paragons to be present, these 3 are sacrificed to create the vengeful supreme diety. The vengeful variant's degree is capped at the lowest sacrificed paragons degree, so summoning a degree 100 vengeful supreme diety will require 3 degree 100 paragons and enough investment to make a degree 100 Supreme diety.
Alchemist paragon: Master of transmutation Gives a global brew buff. Throws out super acid that deals massive damage and turns even MOAB-class bloons partly into gold. Has a permanent pool of acid around the tower. Ability turns any bloon into a red and deals massive damage to boss bloons. Second ability grants a short firing speed buff to every tower in range and turns the Master of transmutation into a super monster.
Druid paragon: Natures Wrath Covers the track in max damage vines. Vine attacks can now hit MOAB-class bloons, holding them briefly and dealing massive damage. Also shoot storms that can knock back MOABs and DDTs. Deals more damage the more bloons there are, this includes the vine attacks, storms, and road vines. Gives lives and money at the end of the turn and gives a small buff to all banana farms. Has the MK ability to detonate the vines, but this doesn't consume the vines to use.
Banana farm paragon: Monkey monopoly Produces a lot of money and lives over time. Adds interest to player money rather than internal money. Makes selling towers give back 100% of their cost in range (can't be improved further), and 90% out of range (can't be improved above 100%). All other forms of money and life generation also get a buff. Ability acts like an overclock on every banafarm, and refreshes all other money related abilities on cooldown.
Spike factory paragon: Mine field production line Adds a layer of permanent spikes on the track similar to spirit of the forest. Shoots out nearly permanent exploding spike balls that deal massive MOAB-class damage. Ability detonates the spike layer and replaces it with a new one after a few seconds. Gains the option to target bloons directly, either attacking the first ones in range, or if there are none, placing mines down to the part of the track where the bloons will go over next.
Beast handler paragon: Master of ancient beasts Has improved versions of the tier 5 beasts, that gain power each turn, and have global range. The beast handler can also use a massively improved version of the base 000 attack. Ability temporarily merges all 3 beasts into a 3 headed beast dragon.
Village paragon: Monkey command center Allows for 3 way cross pathing (so for example 5-2-2 true monkey god would be possible). Grants the primary monkey buffs to all tower. Has 4 mega ballistas with each one having different targeting, and a central platform that can hold almost any monkey. The central platform grants the monkey placed on it the ability to see over any obstacles.
Has an improved version of the home land defense ability.

I love so many things about this update, so I'm going to put my personal top 5 favorites below. Let me know what you think!
5, New tall tale quest: I love how this tale shows off never before seen tower defense mechanics and challenges, and shows us what some monkey-bloon interactions are like. awesome!
4, Sea turtle ZOMG: Finally, there is a zomg that is ocean themed. My collection has finally been completed!
3, New event menu: The polished hero menu that was released a while back was a great upgrade, especially with all of the new heroes being released. And now that there is a new, polished, and organized event menu for each and every limited time thing, Btd6 feels very up to date. I love it!
2, Corvis: This new hero is awesome, unique, and very fun to use. getting used to Corvis and his spells are a ton of fun, and I can't wait to see what cool things you can do with him along the way.

Here's what I think it would be like:
First of all it gets the passive abillity of the pre emptive strike, and also fires MULTIPLE first strikes instead of ballistic missiles that dont do too much damage lategame but can stun bloons up to zomgs for a split second. And also a new ability that fires a barrage of missiles at the strongest bloon on screen, kind of like a mixture of moab barrage and first strike
also have 4-6 dart cannons that do big damage as well, oh and it also grants the sub commander buff to all subs on screen, even without the monkey knowledge. It can also get the carrier flagship buff from the navarch similarly to the doomship
and finally, it would have the submerge targeting, preventing it from dealing damage but giving HUGE buffs to all subs in range, doubles hero xp gain every round, 30% quicker ability cooldowns (does not stack with energizer buff) and halving ability cooldowns of all water based towers on screen.
i think it would be a great concept, being both an offensive and defensive tower. Doubt thats at all what it would be like, but i think that would be pretty cool. If it did get added though, id say it would be almost as powerful as the navarch.
wait i just realised, shouldnt subs be able to attack underwater? The tower description says they shoot "torpedarts" which definitely sound a lot like torpedoes

These were mostly made for fun, but also as an exercise in combing abilities and coming up with ideas. If you wanna give a try at coming up with a paragon, I highly recommend it. Also if you have name ideas for these, I'd love to hear them.

Glue gunner paragon: Super bloon cement Fires super corrosive anti-MOAB glue at every bloon in range. The glue soaks through all layers and is permanent. Also when pop bloons leave behind blobs of glue that deal damage to and slowdown other bloons further. Ability covers the track in blobs of glue similar to the spike storm ability. Glued MOAB-class bloons also take more damage from other attacks. Sniper monkey paragon Can see and shoot around obstacles. Fires at an extremely fast fire rate and deals massive damage. Breaks off fortifications and camo, and stun MOAB-class bloons and makes them take more damage.
Gives out a range buff to all military monkeys, and makes them attack faster the further the bloons are along the track. Monkey sub paragon: Nuclear strike commander Creates an energizer field that removes camo, blocks regen, and deals damage. Fires powerful armor piercing torpedoes, and preemptive strike missiles and last defense missiles when bloons are about to leak. Reduces ability cooldowns and grants a global buff to all monkey subs. Heli pilot paragon Looks like the The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey. Has 2 powerful rotors that shred and blow back bloons, and is able to push MOAB-class bloons. Has 4 powerful laser machine guns, 2 missile pods, and a main armor piercing dart cannon. Also has 2 special operations monkey marines that can shoot from the heli or be dropped down as towers.
Also calls in a mini version of all the tier 5 heli pilots.
Mortar monkey paragon Gives 'follow touch' option to all mortars. Fires massive shells that burn and stun everything they hit, and break off fortification from most bloons. Has 2 abilities, improved pop and awe, and a single target shell that is aimed manually. The single target shell can break fortification from BADs, and stuns all bloons, including BADs, briefly.
Dartling gunner paragon Fires a massive death ray, and bursts of homing missiles. All attacks inflict an improved version of laser shock that slowdown bloons and does more damage. Ability fires missiles in all directions and makes the beam fire in a cone rather than a line.
Super monkey paragon: Supreme deity Has the unique ability of absorbing any towers in range to add to it's degree. Fires at upto 3 targets at the same time and sends out a short range elimination wave every few seconds. Can see and shoot through obstacles and has global range with the main attack. Has all of the true sun god abilities from each tower type and the legend of the night shield, and can move other towers with dark shift.
You can also get the vengful version if you have the monkey knowledge, and a tier 5 of from every tower other tower when you summon it.
Alchemist paragon Gives a global brew buff. Throws out super acid that deals massive damage and turns even MOAB-class bloons partly into gold. Has a permanent pool of acid around the tower. Ability turns any bloon into a red and deals massive damage to boss bloons. Second ability summons 5 mini monsters for 20 seconds.
Druid paragon: Natures Wrath Covers the track in max damage vines. Vine attacks can now hit MOAB-class bloons, holding them briefly and dealing massive damage. Also shoot storms that can knock back MOABs and DDTs. Deals more damage the more bloons there are, this includes the vine attacks, storms, and road vines. Gives lives and money at the end of the turn and gives a small buff to all banana farms.
Banana farm paragon: True monopoly Produces a lot of money and lives over time. Adds interest to player money rather than internal money. Makes selling towers give back 100% of their cost in range (can't be improved further), and 90% out of range (can't be improved above 100%). All other forms of money and life generation also get a buff.
Spike factory paragon: Ultra-mine production line Adds a layer of permanent spikes on the track similar to spirit of the forest. Shoots out nearly permanent exploding spike balls that deal massive MOAB-class damage. Ability covers the field in these spike balls. Reusing the ability replaces all the old spike balls with new ones.
I have no idea what to do with the beast handler or the village so this is all for now.

I decided to do a concept for a defense tower (You can do whatever you want with this,but give credits):
Defender monkey: a support monkey that create a shield that blocks normal,rainbow and zebra bloons, every 10 seconds for 5 seconds.
Top path (A better shield):
1-0-0 long lasting shield: the shield remains for +2 seconds
2-0-0 Double shield: it can block ceramic and iron bloons, and it last for +1 second
3-0-0 Detect-shield: he spot camo bloons, so he can block them, and everyone can hit it, also, it last for +1 second
4-0-0 Anti moab shield: can block moabs and ddts, and it last for +1 second
5-0-0 Ulti-defense: block every bloon and last for +10 seconds.
Middle path (stops but not blocks shield):
0-1-0 Musical stun: it stuns normal, rainbow and zebra bloons, for 3 seconds, using a boom box, inside the shield
0-2-0 Cerami-stun: can stun ceramic bloons, and stun for +1 seconds, with a bigger boom box
0-3-0 Iron-stun: can stun iron bloons, and stuns for+1 seconds, with a boom box so strong, that the shield and the monkey needs headphones
0-4-0 Knockback rock: The shield is a boombox from every side that knockback and stun bloons, mobas and ddts, and stuns for +1 seconds
0-5-0 Knock metal back: it knockback and stun every bloons, and stun for +6 seconds.
Bottom path (Damaging shields);
0-0-1 Pin-shield: The shield has pins with 3 piercing
0-0-2 Spiky shield: The shield has spikes, that have 6 piercing.
0-0-3 Nailer: The shield leave nails, every time it go away, and it have 7 piercing.
0-0-4 firey defense. The shield is on fire, so it burn bloons.
0-0-5 Detonating shield: It detonates when it have zomgs and bads near.
Paragon: Champion defense
It remains for 40 seconds, stun for 24 seconds, and detonates with iron bloons, moabs and higher. also he leaves perma spikes.
