Make a clone trooper online

I’m a bit lost. I have two art degrees, BFA and MFA in Painting. I love making art and thought I’d want to go the teaching route but once I got my MFA I realized I was not interested in that. After grad school I did have my own art studio and even had a solo exhibition. While that was going on I was working in picture frame shops, art galleries, art handling.
I’m not trying to paint a sob story but I want to give proper context.
I was an assistant manager in a commercial art frame shop.
My wife and I had our first kid and I took a paternity leave, and long story short I wasn’t able to go back to my job in corporate art. While I was stuck at home I took an online coding course (32 weeks). I had really high hopes it would lead to a job and then I realized I’m not really that good at it and the market is totally saturated.
I’m now working for a coffee roaster. Running deliveries and roasting, shipping orders. I really like the coffee stuff but I’m just not making enough.
I feel like I really have a lot to offer any company I work with. I’ve applied to countless jobs and written many, many cover letters, but I just don’t hear back from anything. I believe I’m doing something wrong.
So I’m 34, and I kinda feel like I don’t have a real career, just a string of jobs. I’m apprehensive to sink anymore money into Certs or schooling.
Do I still have hope to have a real career in an industry?
I’ve tried all the things that people recommend—networking, messaging on LinkedIn, etc.
I feel like I’m running out of time. Should I seek some kind of professional help? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the lengthy post.

Hi, so like the title suggests, I am looking for advice on how to make friends, and general social interaction.
First and foremost, I always feel very, very lonely. I went through Junior year nearly completely alone, because I'll admit it, I closed myself off. I prefer to be alone, but I still feel lonely at times.
I have a super close and super small circle of friends, but ever since I've moved schools, it has gotten harder for me to just, connect. See thing is, I somewhat prefer irl friendships more than online!
I am in general a very awkward person with somewhat bad social anxiety (lately I have been working on it and I am much better than I used to be! Yipee!) And have anti social tendacies, so this may be difficult to work with, but I still want friends ^'
So I am looking for general advice and even tips on two things;

1. How can I put myself out there and make friends?
   
2. How can I strengthen my connections with friends I have already? I have a bad habit of self sabotaging due to personal issues, so it can be hard for me sometimes.

I am trying to remember a book I checked out from the library in the early 2000s. I think it was published in the 90s (or maybe even 80s). I can’t remember much except that the main character was a young woman who was involved in tracking down a serial killer who would make shoes/slippers for his victims. It was a fictional book (I get a lot of non fiction results when I try looking it up on online). I don’t think the main character was a detective so I think she may have been a journalist. Eventually she gets hunted by the serial killer herself and receives a pair of slippers. I think she may even find a body in a freezer. It was an adult book (I was having to get adult books for my school’s reading level system). Driving me bonkers so any help is appreciated!

No lies told. In the last week, I’ve secured $6k in UGC deals.
This comes from posting my work to socials, and Fiverr (and Fiverr was not even $500 of it).
The difference maker for me has been putting my VA on for 40 hours a week (engaging on my behalf, managing emails, etc.) and consistently posting my work to socials.
Some things I plan to do in the future that I’m not doing currently:

1. Properly upselling. This goes for pre and post upselling. I do 0 of this currently.
   
2. Strategically building out Tiktok, Instagram, and LinkedIn presence (currently only really get my traffic from X, my other socials I post on but they’re pretty much dead)
   
3. Raising the prices (currently, I charge $200-300 per video but I could definitely get those deals to up $400+ a video)
   
4. Creating an outbounding team. I do 0 outreach at the moment and there’s a plethora of ways I can set up VAs to acquire me hundreds of warm leads a week.
   
5. Hiring someone to create Twitter posts for me
   
6. Building out retainer clients and an email list where I can stay on the front of the minds of past clients leading to recurring work.
   
7. Upgrading my portfolio. I plan on adding more niches of work, more examples for each niche with better quality, and adding results for each respective niche. For example, I could create killer fashion content, but I don’t have any solid examples (have never really gotten fashion requests), so many fashion brands probably skip out on me.
   
8. Automation outreach software. This is more so to reach en masse many brands that many not be warm leads (don’t currently do UGC or may not be looking). This is similar to hiring an outbound team but it’s not manual.
   
9. Hiring an editor. I did have one, but he didn’t make UGC edits. I currently edit everything I make, and hiring a solid editor could save me tons of time.
   
10. Building out Upwork presence. I have an account but I use it 0% of the time.

I’m sure I’m forgetting some other things that I want to upgrade with my UGC business but these are most of them.
I am very privileged (white, fit/in shape, MALE - this is a big one - only 15% of UGC creators are male, attractive - or so I’ve been told) and I’m well above average in the core aspects of UGC (concepting/scriptwriting, being authentic on camera, editing, etc.) + extremely knowledgeable of social media (been in online business for 5+ years now, know the platforms and strategies for growth like the back of my hand, super resourceful, etc.) so that explains why my results are not all that typical and will typically be picked for a project over others.

Looking for insights into which combo (Chase vs. Capital One) is better. I do a fair bit of travel and eating out, and would like to use my daily expenses to help subsidize travel (hotel & airfare) through credits. I've looked into Amex Platinum, Chase Sapphire Reserve, and Capital One Venture X. I ruled out Amex Platinum, since I like to travel internationally, and I worry about its coverage outside of the U.S.
I'm torn between Chase Sapphire Reserve and Capital One Venture X. But I'd like to compliment either card with the Chase Freedom or Capital One Savor, respectively, since I've heard that points accrued on one card can be transferred over within the same bank (e.g., Chase Freedom unlimited points can be used for Chase Sapphire Reserve).
Does anyone have any recommendations as to either Chase or Capital One combos? Or if this approach makes sense to maximize travel rewards?

US East coast here. We are having car issues and need some advice, this entire situation has been bad up to this point.
My wife got in an accident a few weeks back (no one hurt, other driver at fault) and thus need to replace her car. Insurance declared total loss and she got around $5600.00 for her 2008 Toyota Prius. The car does not run well and we needed to get rid of it a long time ago, now our hand is forced. It is now a salvage title
I looked at a replacement that fell through as she didn't feel comfortable with the cost (2014 Lexus CT200h). It was a very good deal, I'll leave it at that. Instead we got a different car that will probably end up being a lemon as there are nothing but bad things to say about this car online (2017 Buick Encore premium).
The buick all things considered cost around $15k with tax, tags, reg...etc. I financed and we are going to put the $5600 from the prius down for first payment.
However the very next day (yesterday) the car wouldn't start (internet was right!), i determined it needs a new starter. The car comes with a 60 day / 1000 mile warranty, we will call them tomorrow and hopefully I can get it started and drive it up (dealer 27 miles away). Ill have to leave work early.
The Lexus that I wanted originally still looks to be at the dealer (far, but now quite as far), so we'll go back, hold our heads in shame and see if I can't still buy it.
Sorry, that was long winded, onto the question. How should I go about paying for it? My credit is around 730, I make $84,000 a year. What I would like to do would be to get a bank loan, pay off the Buick, sell the f'ing thing, pay back part of the loan. Also that loan could help buy the Lexus. We also have a newborn so its hard to juggle all this back and forth and bring her along. Also I have a car that works perfectly btw.

Never playing the first Helldiver's I spent the first bit of HD2 believing that our reinforcements we're clones of us frozen and stored on the ship. When I finally learned that it was a new recruit each time, the reality of how expendable we really were sunk in.
It is really funny to me that Super Earth basically gives us a destroyer to command and upgrade. But then says, well if you die we'll just hand the keys to the next guy out of cryo. Which, in my head, doesn't make sense.
I know this is canon, but for each new recruit to come out and have the same skill is more far fetched than it being a clone of ours; hear me out.
Canonically each of our Helldiver's on the ship completed basic training, got into their cryopod and was launched into space where they sit in storage till needed. So then it should be that those new recruits would almost certainly die instantly being straight of of basic and going to a level 7-9 difficulty. This here doesn't sound the most efficient when it comes to winning the war for Managed Democracy. Giving new recruits the reigns to Super Earth's most powerful weapons against it's toughest enemies.
To make sense of this in my own headcanon, I see that when we reach a certain rank, SE sees the value in us and starts cloning us. Or at the very least, our minds to be implanted in a fresh recruit. Otherwise, you'd have someone dropping in, who had no clue of the objective or what just happened, where they are, etc.
The failure rate from this shock alone would be astronomical and I couldn't see a single battle being won.
It also makes the friendly-fire "accidents" that much funnier to me knowing your friend will be back in a minute.
Just my interpretation, but what do you guys think?

I'm (22) a victim of straight up child neglect. my parents would laugh at me and threaten to kick me out if they knew I was saying this online right now. I wish I'd called the authorities and somehow gotten CPS to save me or SOMETHING as a child. now I'm at the full mercy of my parents.
they always just seemed to put restraints on me that they never did with my siblings. I was and still am quite mentally ill, but it wasn't past me to learn how to write a check, drive, get a job, etc. but whenever I pressured them to coach me into knowing how to be a self sustaining adult, they'd act clueless.
regarding getting a job, they kept refusing to drive me all the way to work. to be fair, we were far from everything, to also be fair, I have older siblings that they drove to work before. why would I be any different. eventually, my step brother took me in to help me with things, and that was a MESS, but as I was just about ready to move in with him, my parents denied ever refusing to drive me to work. they acted like they would have loved to. honestly, this type of gaslighting is why I struggle to know what's real with them/not real with them and myself. eventually things fell through with my step brother, but I did get a job and quit about 6 months in because I was putting in extra and ended up being accused of theft.. on a day I wasn't even there. btw, I was staying many hours after close prepping food at my job, I really enjoyed feeling productive, outside of home. at home it's different because it's a great source of the faults in my mental health and so all motivation is gone. and tbh, I've considered suicide a lot over the day just because I'm so close to falling off the edge.
my health got kinda shit over all the time I wasted not being able to have a job. I wanted one when I was 16. I have wanted to have my own life for quite some time. around 17 I started having uncontrollable spasms on the right side of my body when I did specific things (ex. standing up from a sitting position). it is very painful, and only recently have they calmed down. I never mentioned them to doctors because I thought it was just a temporary injury and before I knew it, it was kind of normal. albeit debilitating as well. in the last month they've died down. now I can work out and my body won't attack itself (cardio and even sometimes intense lifting would trigger it). I also definitely feel better, and think my sleep schedule is trying to heal. but I also have sleep apnea, and it feels like I get needless shit for it. I know I need to work on it, snapping at me about a condition I have is not fucking cool. I have so many problems that kind of meet in the middle making it hard to sleep when I need or even want to.
btw I moved back in with my parents after the mess with my brother
right now, I honestly just want to get a job, get a little healthier in the process, get on hormones, get a car, move out, and live with my fiancé. there are also personal reasons I can't get a job nor move out right now, that I don't want to share because I'm honestly scared that I've shared too much. I don't want them to find out about this post. I just want to know what I'm supposed to do here. they once again have me (metaphorically) chained down to this place (once again I can't say specifically why but trust me I have no control over it). I just want to fucking spread my wings. and my health is improving out of nowhere and I'm scared they'll spoil this opportunity for me. I know there's certain services to help adults like me, but I'm pretty sure I need proof of diagnosis for certain mental disabilities for that and I haven't kept up with those documents from my childhood. thoughts? I'm honestly fucking scared of the future. if it's not good, I don't want it. all I want is to medically transition and love my partner, and I want to be able to sustain that potential future but things are never looking up.

im attempting a pastel core island, but unfortunately i dont have nintendo online so it makes custom codes a nightmare. anyways, i have three villagers that dont fit in with the theme. audie, aurora and shino. do i let them slide or get new villagers? other than them i have sasha, , sherb, megan, judy, ètoile, marina and chai if it helps

So I just walked out of a test worth 10% of my grade, I studied really hard and was confident that I was gonna do well. I was aiming for 100% and it seemed very realistic . On all the practise tests I scored nearly perfect marks and would finish the test in under 30 minutes in test conditions (it’s a 45 minute test).
However, I just did the test and messed it up. It was an easy test and everything was something that I had already seen and practised before. I was looking at the questions and my head drew a blank for about half my time (even though I’ve practised and studied all of these questions before). I just couldn’t get the answers out for some reason.
Half way through the test, the answers all came to me so I rushed to try get as much done as I could but still left 2 big questions completely blank and parts of the other questions blank because I ran out of time. The test was online in a computer lab so I didn’t even get a chance to explain how I was gonna solve the question (formulas etc).
I just feel really stupid right now. I’m guessing the most I can get on this test is 50%. This was a subject that I pride myself in, and I don’t know what to do. I doubt my professor will let me resit the supplementary test. 10% is just 10% but I can’t repeat this same mistake for the final exam worth 60% of my grade.
I know people might say “just study harder” but I don’t think that’s the way to solve this issue because if you ask me about anything on the test right now I can answer it perfectly. I don’t know if it’s the nerves because I was very confident right up until the test started.
Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this? Exams are right around the corner and I need to make sure this won’t happen again or I seriously might fail. 🥲

Okay, so obviously the biggest Mandela Effect related to Star Wars is the whole "Luke, I am your father" thing. However, I would like to share a smaller one that I have experienced.
In Attack of the Clones, after Padme falls out of the gunship on Geonosis, she tells a clone trooper to gather troops and head to the hangar Dooku is fleeing to. For my entire childhood, I specifically remember the trooper saying "Yes sir!" as the scene ends, however, rewatching it today, the trooper says "Right away!"
I SPECIFICALLY remember the trooper saying "yes sir" because I always wondered why he said "sir" as a kid and not "ma'am" considering Padme is a woman. Can anyone else quantify that the trooper said that? Am I just bugging?
