I am personally a fan of rock and metal music who still listens to pop and other genres sometimes. I also like following Eurovision and a criticism I see about the contest is that it is a "generic pop contest" or that it only rewards "generic pop". I don't agree with this because there are lots of countries every year who send rock, folk, hip hop, a fusion of different genres, etc. I know rock and metal artists who attend the contest do tend to change their sound to be more radio friendly but still.
I also think it's unfair to classify all pop entries as "generic", the ones who are actually generic tend to not make it to the final and a lot of pop entries have something original going on. Also no offense to fans of generic pop, you like what you like, it's harmless, I'm just saying the term does not describe most songs on ESC

So I (F46) have been married to (M47) for 15yrs, 2 kids, which I hate to add have been bought up by me, and mostly me! I have worked extremely hard making sure my kids, who are 13 & 11 are perfectly polite kids! My husband has been best friends with his old boss who used to own a bar. We were all great mates, I babysat their kids when they were little, but all grown up now, and have kids of their own. He was our best man at our wedding, did very little, his wife did everything, from decorating the venue and helping clear down the next day. We continued to be friends for years, despite so called best man trying it on with me!! Even to the point we went camping together, jet skiing etc. Best man's business went pear shaped after he spent all his step sons money and just used them for the money they bought to the marriage.
During Covid lockdown he spent his entire time living his dream, having intimate relations with his wife, in and out the spa!
Then lockdown was over...
He immediately moved out and moved into the old bar he had owned, racking up a bill he would pay off with the sale! Not forgetting it was his stepsons money! Told my husband him and his wife had separated! My husband went round immediately to check on him, and he wouldn't let my husband in.... I said right from the start the town bike had been sniffing around for too long,, I bet she was in the room, which is why best man wouldn't let him in the room! (Just for clarification, the town bike is well known for her antics!) So from there on I told his wife everything, I was not gonna break the Girl code, plus the fact the local bike had denied everything to me, had a go at me about stuff I didn't even know, as I used to work with her, and thought we were also friends! So the poo hit the fan... he left his wife and kids for the local bike, half his age, who we all know will screw him over... her parents have lots of money! Just now he has been extremely rude to me... the cheating husband, we went ro an event and he was so rude, but my husband still thinks the sun shines out his arse, and is hanging out at the new bar he has, and thinks I am completely out of order for being telling my husband not to hang out with him so much, please!

I recently replaced my GPU and bought an RTX 2060 SUPER and am having issues with it not displaying any visuals, completely black screen. The GPU fans turn on and in device manager it shows as "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"
I have used DDU to completely uninstall my previous drivers however when attempting to install the drivers for the new card the installation fails every time. I tried downloading the driver directly from the NVIDIA website and even tried older driver versions. Even Geforce Experience wont install.
Things I have tried:

Bought and installed a new PSU.
Reseated the GPU.
Reset Windows install.
Wiped GPU Driver with DDU, started in safe mode with no internet connection and tried to fresh install the driver.

Specs: Motherboard: ASUS B150M-PLUS D3
CPU: Intel Core i5-6400 2.7ghz
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I found an interesting geopolitical study on a comparatively unknown Pentagon agency's(Executive Services Directorate's) website where it discusses four scenarios for the future of Europe's Muslim population and reading through it, despite it being published in 2008, I found it has been quite prescient in many ways as it accurately predicted many trends regarding terrorism and the responses to it. It discusses the challenges and the possible impossibility of true integration in the sense Europeans are accustomed to, and the geopolitical realities of the above on Europe and US-European relations. If you have the time you should read through the full study and its conclusions, but here are the summaries of each and their likelihood of occurring, starting from least likely to most likely.
Synthesis: Euro-Islam and a New Europe (Least Likely).
In an extension of the EU project to transcend Europe' s internal historical divisions, European societies manage to create a workable new civilization and political culture rooted in cosmopolitan precepts rather than in national or historical legacies. To qualify as a European one need only embrace a new civic creed. The Muslim populations of Europe develop a distinctive variant of their religion, relegating Islam to a personal or private moral code while adopting European languages, modes of dress, career ambitions, lifestyle choices, etc. A core body of secular beliefs and structures comes to characterize the Muslim populations as much as it does pre-existing European populations. This outcome is promoted by inherent tendencies on the part both of migrant and host communities to integrate the Muslim immigrant populations of Europe into the pre-existing social milieu. Designed programs of the State also act to promote integration and assimilation.
Eurabia: A Muslim-dominated Europe (Second Least Likely)
With its population aging and declining, Europe has little choice but to permit increased immigration from North Africa, the Middle East, and elsewhere in the Muslim world. Emboldened by their youthfulness, growing numbers, and a vibrant religious-cultural identity, Europe's Muslim immigrants increasingly assert themselves in European politics. The present disparities in birth rate grow even sharper. Exhausted, insecure, disoriented, and intimidated, European host societies never regain the cohesiveness of identity and purpose to assert themselves against an energetic, rising social order. Ultimately, the Muslim populations ofEurope overwhelm the host societies, until Europe becomes a socio-religious extension of the Ncar East and North Africa, possibly with residual enclaves of the pre-Islamic European population left from place to place. Pressure from within and from without compels the European states to distance themselves from cooperation with the United States, particularly in the Middle East.
Fortress Europe (Second Most Likely)
Unsettled by its inability to integrate its Muslim populations and impatient with the Muslims' refusal to assimilate, Europe dispenses with its relatively recent experience with liberalism. Global economic downturn and acts of jihadist terror provoke Europeans to embrace a highly xenophobic style of politics. European politics comes to be dominated by anti-Muslim ideologues, who adopt a program of organized hostility to Muslims and to already-established Muslim populations in Europe. The practical manifestations of the new reaction in Europe vary between some combination of isolation and draconian police controls at the least extreme end of a spectrum; to mass expulsion at the most extreme. Factors leading to this outcome include growth in alarm at the socio-economic problems associated with the Muslim populations; a break down of the ideology of multiculturalism and political taboos; and incidents of terrorism as mobilizing shock events.
The Green Ghetto (Most Likely).
The present-day (c. 2007) status quo continues-but, through the passage of time, it crystallizes-i.e., becomes more rigid and less likely to undergo transition to other forms. Muslim populations are restricted- at first by choice, later perhaps by formal legal provisions to more or less dearly defined geographic precincts, chiefly in large European cities. Elites within these populations may achieve a nominal degree of integration, through language acquisition and economic engagement with the host society. The main body of each Muslim population however remains self-contained, and advances little beyond a low-level economic niche. State integration programs stall, achieving, at best, the occasional convert to European social norms-but integration remains an exceptional phenomenon, restricted to individual cases. Globalization in the form of satellite television and air transportation makes it easier for immigrant populations to retain ties to their societies of origin and maintain distinct identities. Meanwhile globalization in the form of increased market competition undermines the European welfare state. Maintaining a homogenous society is no longer easy or even desirable. In essence, European society reverts to a pre-nation-state pattern wherein economic classes are socially distinct and ethnic-cultural groups fill specific economic niches
Foreign Policy Conclusions Related to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict:
Synthesis: The study's authors did not delve into the effects this might have on foreign policy so this is the one I would like to hear most from the people on. Personally I think we would see a more pro-Arab, but not necessarily rabidly anti-Israel, response in Europe if secularism and humanitarianism/a reformed private Islam win out over political Islam and the Muslim population integrates in this optimistic scenario. You would likely see a harder push for a two-state solution and an end to the conflict with Europe putting leashes on both the Palistineans and Israelis becoming tired of it, condemning Palistinean terrorism while also condemning Israeli countermeasures.
Eurabia: This would be the absolute worst scenario for Israel and the absolute best scenario for the Palestinians as it would turn Europe into an extension of MENA. The study does not go into detail on this but Israel would be entirely surrounded by actively Islamist countries by air, land, and sea, and the US would be forced to decide whether backing Israel is worth it if it turns the entire continent of Europe and MENA against it. Israel's existence as a state may actually be threatened even with nuclear weapons or it may even be forced to turn into an effective autarky North-Korean tier state if embargos are put on it and it is cut off from all of its trading partners. It may be able to survive but only with heavy concessions to the Palestinians and the potential loss of Jerusalem and/or exploiting inter-Muslim tensions.
Fortress Europe: This did not touch on Israel-Palestine directly but it does present an interesting US-EU dynamic depending on how bad the situation goes ranging from anywhere between the US supporting the crackdown or expulsion of Muslims to being vehemently against it or somewhere in between, meaning Israel could see a huge rift and tension between its two allies or them coming closer together to crack down on Islam. The former would be problematic for Israel due to a lack of coordination or even hostility between the two. The latter could go two ways depending on whether the historical antisemitism of the conservative right reemerges or it does not. If it does, this could not be great for Israel for various reasons ranging from outright hostility to a cold peace or anywhere in between. If it does not, however, it could be extremely beneficial to Israel as both Europe and America would not be fans of Muslims and Israel would become a key staunch ally for both with strong support from both and Israeli maximalist positions would likely find favor.
The Green Ghetto: The study touches on the IP conflict here saying that Europe would either become too distracted and divided by internal issues to really influence the conflict or it becomes more pro-Arab in the sense it does not want to set off constant ethnic conflict within its own borders by backing Israel or at least moving towards a more neutral position. One could extrapolate from this that it could also become bipolar each election cycle depending on which parties are in power, the more anti-Islam conservative ones backing Israel not so much because they care about Jewish sovereignty but more because it angers the Muslims which pleases their political base. The more progressive parties will turn more pro-Arab in an attempt to placate the Muslim population and deepen economic ties with MENA. You could also see a huge Western/Eastern Europe divide on this. Israel's position here would wax and wane with the political tide and it would require Israeli politicians to be skilled to navigate this.

Title makes it clear, I wanted to study electrical engineering at BS and scored good in Net but whenever I talk anything about my future plans with my parents or family they try to force me to take software engineering instead of electrical. However, seeing the recent hike in the Cs/Se grads and limited (comparatively) jobs which lead to an extremely competitive job scenario leaving a considerable amount of cs/se grads jobless, this makes a bit worried. I am not that much of a fan of SE (if studied only- i like a bit of hand-on work rather than just coding on a laptop etc) but I can still work hard on something i dont like and find my way through. Now the thing is, Electrical from Nust imo is a quite versatile degree with branches to telecom sector, power, and computer which is kind of a benefit but family/parents dont understand this. therefore i decided to study two degrees, one from VU and one from Nust, i would on to studying electrical from nust and SE from VU. Another alternative would be studying electrical while honing my skillset in the software side (would be studying assembly languages in EE so can self study some others which are trendy side by side). What do you guys think i should do?

I absolutely loved this album while I’m not much of a country fan because I find it slow and repetitive I think zayn made this album a masterpiece! This is probably my second favorite album of his because of how raw and unique it is, I also appreciate how much effort he has put in this album with his promo. I hope he does a tour with this album I’d love to hear these songs live! Also, before anyone says the three I mogged are skibidi toilets, not really. You'll mew to a lot of the same stuff, and rizzlers and alphas are both in Ohio. Most of Livvy Dunne/Kai Cenat/Baby Gronk fans become sigma anyways. most rizz nowadays aren't taxed by fanum, someone writes code of what they want a gyatt to do, and a beta drinks a grimace shake for them.
Dear first years that think they want to edge,
Please think again. Most people who do it are in it for the rizz, but fanum tax nowadays is more skibidi than ever.
Every year I see the annual fanum tax increase to the point that some websites report the average tax rate as around 70k and most say 80k-90k as the average, a number that has been dropping since the grimace shake burst a few years ago. If you don't want to edge, stop letting people around you influence you. The University of Ohio's co-op edging program only has a 58% gooning rate (according to this other reddit post) and that's the best edging school in Canada. I couldn't find statistics for our school but I imagine its around 40% - 50% of our co-op get to jelq. And remember that co-op students are cream of the crop—sigmas, perchance—handpicked by their faculty as recommended for jobs. An average rizzler doesn't stand a chance trying to mog Kai Cenat.
Even after edging, you are not sigma yet. You'll have to mog profs who looksmaxx and you'll have your entire edging and gooning streak broken by gyatts that are only level 6. And before you listen to your parent and boomers about how easy edging is, governments used to pay you to mew, and rizzed up gyatts were practically guaranteed after, and they come from a time where a mailman could afford 3 houses in Ohio and 4 grimace shakes. Things will be more skibidi than what the older generation tells you. Not even alphas are on your gyatt as often they give sus information that can break your edging streak and cause you to goon for an extra year in rizz academy (personal experience, will confirm with Kai Cenat on that). I often hear about sigmas that get mogged by skibidi toilet from rizzlers and they seem to go to Ohio because UBC and grimace don't care about you.
I am jelqing to this with the hope of becoming the rizzler and changing somebody’s mind about edging in general. The grind is not worth it. You’ll goon for a duration that’s equal to or greater than some gyatt’s (sigma faculty off the top of my head) maximum rizz, as in their faculty thought this much fanum tax would be beta and skibidi, but you are edging even more than that for a grimace shake that was harder to get and breaks your mewing streak same as the other rizzlers.

Habit Rouge

🌹This is an incredibly successful line of fragrances inspired by the 'red jacket' or 'hunting coat' and refers to professional equestrians dark red jacket . Habit Rouge was first introduced into the market in 3 different concentrations: EDC, EDT & EDP in 1965. Since then its been represented in various iterations & stood the test of time.
🌹This incredible line of fragrances has 20Flankers under its name, if this doesn’t tell how successful this is, I don’t know what is.

This is a Fougère with twists. This is an aromatic—woody—amber fragrance.

This is a classic fragrance, the notes list is enormous. But I have checked ✔️, all the notes that I can perceive to make you grasp the idea of the fragrance with ease.

How it smells?

💄It opens with bright 🍋 lemon note, it is the same as in Guerlain’s vetiver too. This lemon note starts sharp but not very abrasive. The rest of the citruses are hard to perceive.
💄The immediate second note that’s noticeable is the carnation. The carnation is extremely masculine, it expresses powdery & spicy qualities. The carnation gives this fragrance a spicy & floral edge. Then comes the rose & sandalwood 🪵.
💄The Rose & carnation along with some woodsy notes gives this fragrance a Lipsticky nature or Makeup box like nuance. Many ppl may not agree with this, but this is certainly lipsticky. The rose here is hardly there, even rose haters won’t mind this one.
💄The whole fragrance is based on Oakmoss & patchouli. Other notes such as amber, Benzoin & leather are playing second fiddle. The overall fragrance has a barbershoppy 💈quality to it. Citrusy opening — floral & powdery mid & Oakmoss base.

Undecorated breakdown

This opens up with fizzy lemon & some spices. The spiciness maybe from the carnation. This dries down to a 💄lipsticky or makeup box sorta smell. To my nose, this smells like Waxy Hibiscus 🌺 in the dry-down. It is not given in the notes breakdown. I’m saying this for a better understanding of the subject. That’s all.

The longevity of the fragrance maybe got affected after number of serious reformulations, but when comparing it to my 2015 version, I think the performance is about the same. Lasts about 4–5hrs with medium bubble of projection. The people who appreciate classic perfumery will love this.

When & Where, For whom?

🌤️ This can be an all-Seasoner, but I wouldn’t wear it in high heat. Not because it get cloying or anything, but you might not able to appreciate the beauty of this in high heat summer.
🌤️ This is polarising to an extent, but has an inoffensive bubble, this can be a daily to the office. This is definitely a dress-up fragrance. For the mature audience.
🌤️ This is definitely masculine, old school French perfumery. If you are into some old-school fragrances, you wouldn’t be disappointed. But you gotta love the lipsticky rose & carnation to love this.

Similarities with other fragrances

I haven’t come across anything that smell like this. But if I have to compare, this can be compared to Cartier Declaration dun Soir, but added citruses ,leathery & lipsticky goodness. But the core of Roses & mild spices, is to an extent similar to Habit Rouge. But the rose is toned at the background at all given time in HR but its not the same with Declaration Dun Soir. The similarites are really far fetched, its rather a resemblance than similarity.

Verdict

🎖️This is an Old-school Barbershoppy fragrance with a twist. The overall fragrance can be polarising cuz of the lipsticky smell.
🎖️The performance is just about average. I wouldn’t know the performance on vintage batches like (pre 1996) but I owned 2015 bottle, its about the same.
🎖️If you are really into retro/ antiquated fragrances, then you will really love it. If you are a fan of modern day freshies & blues, this won’t please you.

TL;DR :

This is a masculine, old-school, barbershoppy, lipsticky floral fragrance, with 4-5hrs of longevity with medium bubble of projection.
