About me: I graduated last 2023 is currently working as a government employee. I live in North Luzon with my family, and 5 dogs. I stand at 5'2, weighs 53 kgs, normal BMI, and in love with my curls and morena complexion. I like dressing up especially on days when I am extra stressed. So I love the TV show bones , it is one of my favourite and I then found a book called "Marked for death " and it followed the same plot , fbi agent and forensics solve a murder, fall In love.
I littraly loved the books and am looking for others like it. Open door. But no BDSM or secret babies.
Even better if the characters are younger ( mid to late twenties / early 30s ) like bones and booth. Genius but not great with social skills. And have no money troubles.

Okay so recently i have been going through and replaying a few of my favorite game franchises, ya know relive the good days. The past few days ive been replaying the OG first Assassin's Creed; the one that started it all. And while i gotta say it doesnt hold up great like it did way back when it came out in 2007, its still a very fun game. All this time replaying it tho has got me thinking, what if for AC's 20th Aniversary coming up in a few years they not only remasted the game but also gave it a complete mechanics and gameplay overhaul. Giving us a proper 20th Aniversary edition!
What would you like to see in such a remake that deserves to exist? what features from games that have come out since would you like to see revisted? How could they expand on the game making it feel more fleshed out but all the while still keeping to the core of what the first game was?...
Ill start, personally i would absolutely love if they revisted Assassin's Creeds competitive multiplayer that they had from Brotherhood to Black Flag. Giving us a fresh set of maps set in the Holy Land to have fun in with friends online. They could even monitise such a feature by releasing map packs + plus character bundles for each game in the franchise as DLC. I know id pay for a multiplayer experience in settings from games we never got to experience it in. And frankly ive missed the multiplayer, i have such fond memories from when i was in highschool playing online with my friends.

Saw the Dayton sculpture "Common Good" on an episode of "Applause," a PBS Ideastream production in Cleveland. It's in the second-to-last segment of the following episode. "Applause" often features Ohio artists, and this segment featured Jon Hudson Barlow, a graduate of the Dayton Institute of Art and former professor there, and whose sculpture studio is in his home town of Yellow Springs.

Reading about Barlow, I noted he originally attended Urbana College, now closed, before transferring to the Dayton Institute of Art. I worry about the character of Ohio in coming decades as our liberal arts colleges increasingly fail and as Republicans continue to gut liberal arts programs at our state universities. I wonder what role Urbana College played in inspiring Barlow's career focus.

Anyway, this sculpture impressed me, more especially when I learned of its location behind a major library. Ohio's libraries also are suffering from state funding cuts, and librarians are among the most dedicated of public servants.
"Common Good" seems a unique, and very important Ohio sculpture. Too often we honor politicians and others of great public prominence, such as athletes. Too little we honor those relatively anonymous persons who are fundamentally important to our quality of life.
So, I am curious. How many persons in Dayton have enjoyed this sculpture? Is there plentiful parking at the Dayton Metro Library main branch?

I just finished rewatching EA S2 and I had forgotten that they had lost the escape room challenge. Now I’m wondering what will happen in the seasons to come.
I think it has potential to become another NJTW. I was reading another thread somewhere and a commenter mentioned that the repetitiveness of NJTW is why it got boring (going to a random country and getting the dragon balls and all of that jazz). While I enjoyed all of the seasons of NJTW and even the spin offs, I do agree that it did get a bit stale. In comparison, EA feels like a breath of fresh air.
I don’t want that to happen to EA because I think we need more women led variety shows and while I like Kang Hodong (to an extent), his character is a bit stale. The relationships in EA feel more natural and although they have traits that repeat obviously,
it doesn’t feel like a bit. It’s just who they are as people.
So I’m thinking that next season will open with them having to do a part time job (hopefully this takes up an episode max) They work and then Torong will make mess of things and blame it on them. This will lead to the Jade Emperor basically telling them that if you don’t catch Torong then you’ll have get whatever penalty. This will lead to them having to go another country to catch Torong.
I think this will give it a bit of a boost. They can also get someone to play the Jade Emperor and use that to make his character more popular. Maybe they could rent a rice cake shop for a day and say it’s a branch store of the one of the moon and the girls will have to work.
I’m going to organize this post later. Anyways, what do you guys think?

A lot of times, I stay up so late at night because I’m so paranoid that someone will break in (I live in a studio; I have 2 locks on my door and a door stopper that will alarm me if someone comes in).
Well last night/a few hours ago, I wasn’t scared at all. I took sleeping medicine and was sleeping really well through the night until I heard a knocking noise coming right from next to my head. I jolted up and my heart was racing.
I wake up to knocking alllll the time. It always sounds loud, and it’s always on the door across the room from me. It’s never there that I know of. It happens at night but also in the middle of the day when I’m napping too.
I looked it up after waking up, and immediately google is telling me that it’s a demon and shit. I don’t even believe in that stuff usually but now I’m freaked the fuck out :( I was already scared, and then I read stuff like “something bad is coming” “don’t knock back” “it’s a demon trying to communicate” etc. And to make matters worse, I kinda believe it could be true. It scares the shit out of me
What do yall do? This stuff literally makes me want to break my lease and move in with a friend or something. People online were saying set up a camera but I kinda don’t wanna know at this point, I just wanna feel safe in my own apartment.

A free game for Windows I downloaded years ago, the art style reminded me of more colorful Gameboy Advance games with smooth pixel animations and an optional scanline filter. The player character was a small girl with wolf ears and a wolf tail in a plain dress, and you could change her color palette between four options. It was in a farm setting, given the gameplay revolving around collecting eggs.
The gameplay was a clone of the Game & Watch game Egg, where chickens on each corner of the screen lay eggs that roll down their respective ramp and you have to hit a button for each corner to move the basket to catch the eggs before they fall to the ground, getting faster over time.
There was a sort of level select similar to Tetris, where you could choose to start at a faster speed, and there was a second game mode called 'Hi-Score' that was apparently different, but I could never figure out what aside from the lack of a speed select.
I think I got it from Itch.io, but it could have been Game Jolt (those were the only sources of free games I trusted at the time). Just looking up things like 'egg catcher' on either of these sites hasn't gotten me anywhere close though. If I remember correctly the first word of the game's name was a Romanized Japanese word that started with 's' but I could just be thinking of Syobon Action which I used to play a lot at the time too.

A Different Game:
I'm not sure if I can explain this. I don't think that I totally understand it myself, but that's ok.
Long term fasting isn't about food, but you already knew that or you wouldn't be attempting a long fast.
This may not pertain to everyone that does a long fast. Maybe it won't pertain to any of them.
You may not know who I am, or of my situation. That's ok. I'm just some guy in a sub-reddit.
For me the battle is more important than the weightloss. Fasting can tear you down right to the core. It can lay you open and expose vulnerabilities that you didn't know you had.
That can be a good thing if you are ready for it. When you've faced something that stripes you down, you only have two ways to go. You either stay broken or you rebuild a new you.
Fasting isn't a team sport. The rebuilding process is a solo journey. You will face family and friends that mean well. You will face people on reddit that have watched a few videos of someone that thinks they know about fasting.
The fact is that after your first long fast, you have experience, they have hearsay.
Repeating what somebody else said about something that very few people have experienced is easy. There are way to many armchair quarterbacks.
For all intents and purposes they are standing on the sidewalk watching the parade go by.
We need to respect those people. They believe what they are saying. They don't mean to drag you down. They just don't understand that the game we are playing is nothing like the game they are playing.
Respecting them doesn't mean letting their opinions effect you. We leave their words to them. We step outside of their world.
We are outside of the box thinkers. We learn by doing, not by reading, watching, or listening.
In short, we cut our own path.
Long term fasting will cause you to question everything about your past, present, and future.
It will make you question yourself to the point that you lose the belief in your fight.
Don't be mistaken. This is war. You will fight battles every day of your fast.
TV commercials, concerned family members, concerned friends, people in the fasting reddit, all of these and more, are all battles. Each battle takes your energy to fight them.
We all have a limit as to how much unintentional abuse that we can take.
Remember, we are playing a different game. We aren't better than them, it's just a different game.
To succeed we close off there words. We smile and nod without telling them they are wrong. Their rules don't apply. Remember, ours is a different game. We need our energy for other challenges, tougher challenges.
Once we're in a long fast our mind will scream at us. It doesn't Remember why it stored the fat. How could it. We don't live in a world where using fat for energy is part of the equation.
We know the truth. Fat is fuel. Combine that fat with electrolytes and vitamins and your body has a built in smorgasbord.
You will face many days where you question whether it is worth it. Days when the scales aren't moving, and you are constantly thinking about your comfort food, can push you close to your limit. If you aren't confident and forward thinking it can break you.
We play a game that is much like chess. Our move is the result of a strategy that we decided on several moves ago. We don't make in the moment decisions. We know the obstacles but we don't care because we set this strategy in motion days before. Today is temporary. It is here and gone in the blink of an eye.
Tomorrow. That's how we win today's battle. Our mind is already in tomorrow. How can we giving in today if we are already in a tomorrow frame of mind.
Our battle is intense. As with chess, sometimes we have to sacrifice a pawn, maybe even a knight. We do this by skipping a family gathering or a superbowl party if they fall within our fasting plan.
I've missed Easter, Thanksgiving, my birthday, my mom's birthday, mother's day, and 4th of july cookouts.
This game requires sacrifice. The weightloss is great. I've lost 240 pounds, but that is irrelevant.
Our true opponent is our mind. Nothing else can matter. In truth, nothing else exists. We stand alone. Alone against family, friends, and armchair experts.
On one fast, I was on day 56. My mind was done. I didn't think I had anything left in the gas tank, but I've faced things in life that totally wiped me out. I knew there is always just a little more left if we reach deep.
I held on. My mind was screaming. I couldn't hear anything but, "give in, it's over"
I dug deep. I went to my room. I just wanted to go to bed. I climbed on my bed. I couldn't climb under the covers. That would take too much external energy. I knelt on my bed. I rocked back and forth for three hours. I was sobbing uncontrollably. My body was shaking from the depth of those sobbs.
I made it. The tears ended. The rocking ended. I collapsed on my bed and slept for hours.
I faced one of the hardest challenges in my 55 years on this planet.
That victory is mine. Nobody can take it from me. Believe it or not several people from this fasting community tried. They told me that I was lying. They said I got lucky because I didn't die. They said I would cause someone to take their last breath.
I didn't care what they said, and I don't care now. The victory is mine. Any time I struggle I look back on that morning. I remember the intensity. I fought so hard, and I won. What challenge can I face in the future that could compare. The answer is, nothing. Nothing I will face can hold a candle to that day.
I've faced some extreme challenges. My girlfriend passed from cancer while laying in the bed beside of me. My mom went to prison when I was little. Our friend was murdered. One of our friends came over after he had been shot. We were robbed at gunpoint. None of that compared.
Even Marine Corps boot camp paled in comparison to that day.
We face intense situations while fasting. This may sound bad but I hope you can experience that. I can't think of anything that could ever take me down. I look back on that day and it empowers me. With that memory I can tackle any opponent.
We play a different game. Don't forget that.

I’m exploring the HX99G barebone for a first Mini PC for gaming. I have ‘t build a pc before nor used one, especially Windows in more than 20 years.

I’m planning to get the below to add to the machine: - G.Skill D5S64GB 5600 (i also saw someone say that the settings ned to change to cap it at 5400?! How? Where?) - Samsung 990 PRO NVMe M.2 SSD, 2TB
I have a couple questions: does the barebone come with heatsink thingies for the above?

Okay so I am sure I am not the first person nor am I going to be the last who comes up with this head Cannon but seeing how absolutely poorly New York went down and the warlords DLC I'm willing to believe that our character in Div 2 is actually a character from Div 1. Bare in mind I havent ever read any of the actual novels so.

I recently noticed that I haven't left my house in a few days, which has caused me to think about my fantasy world almost constantly. Now I don't particularly want to talk about my fantasy world, but to an extent it's a bit mundane and it has some overlap to my life now. So whenever something happens in this life I tend to imagine how it would play out in my fantasy world and I also sometimes imagine myself talking about it to my other fantasy characters (friends).
As I mentioned above, I haven't left my house in almost a week, which means I have been sleeping for longer as well. I have been having vivid dreams, and in those dreams my fantasy world and my normal life seem to have "merged" to an extent. Often, I will have dreams based on my normal life and self, and right after I will imagine my fantasy self talking about it to my fantasy friends.
Now the prefix schizo means split in latin and this is exactly what I have been feeling like for a while. Not in a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde way, but I feel "split" in the sense that I live my normal life and my fantasy life almost at the same time. Granted my normal life is often underwhelming and my fantasy life is very much controlled and constantly reformed, but maybe constantly daydreaming about it has taken a toll on me. Not that I will stop.
I am not sure if this was obvious, or even a correct theory but are we called Schizo-ids because of the split between our real life and our fantasy life? Or is it because of something else and this is simply a small coincidence.
PS: Now that I have written all this I remembered reading that Schizoids experience a split in their personalities and needs or something similar, so either take this post as a manifestation of that (Splitting my actual personality between my real self and my fantasy self) or simply as gibberish written right after I woke up.

Hi everyone, I just wanted some advice on my current position to see how I can set myself up nicely in the next decade and see how I'm doing at the minute.
I've recently turned 31 and have always been a bit of a finance and spreadsheet nerd, so have always tracked my person finances ever since I earned an income from my waitering job when I was 14.
I feel as though I'm in a reasonably good position, but wanted some advice how to maximise my 30s to set myself up well going into my 40s. I don't know why, I just feel as though the next decade is quite a big one to set my future self up well. My current position is below:
Salary: £75k (expect this to move to £80k in the next month or two) Take home after tax, NI and company car: £3.9k Another form of income brings in an average of £300 Total take home: £4.2k
My outgoings total about £4k/month give or take. My mortgage and bills come to £2k/month and then we spend an average of £2k/month on food and all activities/holiday funds. We're certainly not materialistic but do spend a fair amount on travelling to different places.
Current finances are: House value £380k, mortgage just under £270k, so £110k equity. Workplace pension: £50k Emergency fund spread across high interest savings accounts: £30k Bitcoin: £40k Vanguard account (mainly S&P500): £15k Total net worth: £245k
The last few years have been difficult, with my income being the only source for the house. My girlfriend has finished a nursing degree which has taken 3 years and is due to start a new role in August on a starting salary of £28k. This will bring in another £1.8k I'm assuming.
Based on that, with my salary and my partner's new source of income, we'd have about £2k/month extra which I'm thinking on consistently adding into the vanguard SS ISA.
My questions I'm hoping for some advice on are the following: - Is the thought of investing all outstanding income into S&P 500/World fund (£2k/month) the best plan? There are months we'll have more than this, but I'd say that's the average. - I've been with my partner for 6 years and she's definitely the one. However I bought the property myself 7 years ago before her and she has only ever contributed the food bills etc. I've always paid the full mortgage and bills etc. She has just over £5k to her name. Are we to just combine everything anyway once we tie the knot? - Is my current position pretty good? I've worked hard throughout my 20s whilst still travelling a lot and having an overall great time. I'm unsure whether I'll want to retire early, but I certainly want full financial independence. (Well aware of the FIRE community and read a lot of their posts). Is my plan through my 30s going to set us up well and make us FI if we stay consistent with the additional income?
Last point, no kids yet and will be a flip of a coin whether we have them eventually. If I was a betting man I'd probably say we will in about 5 years time. I understand this would completely change our path, but we'll cross that if it ever happens.

Hello everyone,
I have a question and I hope you can help me. After dealing with countless costly German cars, I'm now searching for a vehicle that I can drive without worries. I've set my sights on the Alfa Romeo MiTo 120hp/155hp, preferably the 155hp version (2008’ish). However, I've read some negative reviews about the M32 gearbox. Are these issues common, or are they somewhat exaggerated? Besides this, are these cars generally reliable? I would appreciate any advice you can offer!
