When I first came across the Denix Replicas 1067 1853 Civil War Enfield Rifle, its authentic design and historical significance piqued my interest. As a history enthusiast, I was excited to have this replica in my possession. The craftsmanship of the wooden and metal construction was impressive, capturing the essence of the era. However, my excitement soon turned into a slight disappointment when I realized that the rifle was just for decoration and didn't shoot.
Despite this minor setback, the replica's ability to transport me back in time and provide me with a tangible connection to history was a positive aspect. The attention to detail and the dedication to preserving its historical significance made the Enfield Rifle a worthwhile addition to my collection. It's a great conversation starter and a visually stunning piece to display in any room.
Nonetheless, I can understand how some collectors might be put off by the fact that the rifle is non-functional. While it doesn't impact the overall design and quality of the product, it may be a deciding factor for those looking for a functional replica. Overall, the Denix Replicas 1853 Civil War Enfield Rifle is an accurate and visually stunning representation of a bygone era, making it a valuable addition for any history enthusiast's collection.

I've been using the Realtree Pump Action Rifle as a fun toy for my little one, and I have to say it has been a great addition to our collection! The pump action feature is super easy to use and adds to the realistic feel of the toy. One of my favorite things about this rifle is the realistic shotgun sounds, which make it even more exciting for my child.
The soft plastic shotgun shells are a nice touch, and they do eject when you pump the rifle to reload. This adds another level of realism to the toy and makes it even more enjoyable for my child to play with. I also appreciate that it comes with 4 shells right out of the box, which is perfect for getting started.
One downside I've noticed is that the pump action can be a bit tough for a little hand to operate, which can be a bit frustrating at times. Overall, though, I'm very happy with the Realtree Pump Action Rifle, and it has proven to be a great toy for my child.

The Marshmallow Pump-Action Shooter feels like a delightful twist on the classic Double-Barreled Shotguns. The highlight? . Shooting sweet marshmallows instead of bullets! .
It's a playful, unique toy that'll add some cheerful chaos to playtime. Despite the absence of actual bullets, it still has the pump-action feeling that makes it so appealing.

I've had the opportunity to use the M1866 Lever-Action Repeating Rifle myself, and I have to say, it's a real piece of history. The gun has such a powerful presence, it demands attention wherever you put it up. The gray finish certainly adds an antique touch, and the wooden stock is both sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.
One of my favorite aspects of this replica is the lever-action mechanism. It works just like the original, giving you a feel of the Old West right in your own home. And even though it's a non-firing version, it perfectly demonstrates how the loading system works.
However, there's one thing I would change. At 38 3/4 inches, it's quite a large piece to handle. Despite its grandeur, it can feel a bit unwieldy at times. But overall, this M1866 is a remarkable replica that captures the essence of the legend.

đź”—Denix 1860 Henry Repeating Rifle Brass Finish Frame

https://preview.redd.it/0lei7f4u8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2f9c2ef3d19324b7865c552c8ff77cbbfda3f3fa
The Denix 1030L Old West Lever Action with a brass finish frame is a captivating replica of the Henry Repeating Rifle, a revolutionary design from the Civil War era. Standing at an impressive 42.5 inches long, this rifle has its original tubular magazine system and 24-inch octagonal barrel that once held 15 rounds of. 44 caliber metal cartridges.
The brass finish frame adds an authentic touch to this historical weapon and offers a robust feel when held. However, one must remember that although it looks and feels the part, it lacks the necessary components for actual firepower.
It serves as a striking conversation piece or a nostalgic reminder of the Old West, but it comes with its own set of challenges as well. Overall, the Denix 1030L offers a blend of history, aesthetics, and a bit of a learning curve for enthusiasts who appreciate the craftsmanship of the past.

đź”—Genuine Beretta 1301 Double Barrel Shotgun with Looped Sling Attachment

As a seasoned shotgun enthusiast, I found the GG&G LPD R SLNG Atch Brtta 1301 Tact to be a worthy addition to my weaponry collection. Crafted from the sturdy ASTM A36 steel, this shotgun confidently stands up to the pressures of combat. The bead blasted and manganese phosphate finish in matte black offers a sleek appeal that meets the Mil-Spec standards. The weight of 0.13 oz makes it a comfortable and portable option for any outdoor activities.
What makes this product stand out is the sense of pride and dedication in the "Made in America" tag. This sense of community is evident in the product's engineering and craftsmanship. However, on the downside, the 0.5 oz weight could be lighter for users who prefer even more portability without compromising the shotgun's functionality.

đź”—High-Velocity Dart Blaster for Outdoor Fun

https://preview.redd.it/jvgvipev8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=555adede907942751d3d10b8c717898c34e07572
As a kid, I remember always being excited about blasters, so when I got my hands on the Buzz Bee Toys Air Warriors Over Under Double Shot, it brought back all those childhood memories. The design was simple yet effective, and the range was impressive. It could shoot up to 55 feet, which made it perfect for outdoor play.
One of the standout features was the double-barreled system, allowing you to fire two darts at once or separately. Plus, the fact that it didn't require any batteries was a great plus. However, the weight and size of the blaster could be a bit challenging for younger kids.
When it comes to quality, I must admit I had some doubts after hearing about some breakages from other users. But overall, I had a positive experience with the Air Warriors Over Under Double Shot Blaster. It's definitely a fun toy for anyone looking for some action-packed entertainment.

đź”—Non-Firing Winchester Lever-Action Reproducible Rifle

https://preview.redd.it/1v48ourv8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=14901ac8d1b0c3acaee9abfb1b94baebd44d5b07
Recently, I had the opportunity to try out this replica Winchester 1873 rifle. As someone who appreciates the craftsmanship that goes into these reproductions, I was pleasantly surprised by the detail and weight of this piece. Holding it, you can feel the authenticity of the design, with its engraved silver finish and octagonal barrel that harkens back to a time when guns were crafted with precision.
However, one thing that stood out in my experience was the non-functioning mechanism. As a replica, it's expected that you can't actually fire it, but I was a bit disappointed that you couldn't simulate the loading process either. Other than that, I think it's an excellent addition to any collection, be it for aesthetic purposes or for use in photoshoots or performances. It certainly adds a touch of authenticity to any setting, and with its sturdy construction, it will likely last quite a while.

As an avid shooter and collector, I stumbled upon this "American & British 410 Shotguns" book and was pleasantly surprised by its thoroughness and attention to detail. With its hardback binding, the book exudes a sense of durability and timelessness, making it a worthwhile addition to any enthusiast's library.
The publisher, F&W Publications Inc, clearly put in the effort to create a comprehensive guide, covering a wide range of makers, including well-known brands like Browning, Ithaca, Winchester, and lesser-known ones like Boss and Holland & Holland. The 2004 publication date seems to have provided a solid foundation for their research, with the book featuring a 125-year developmental history of the 410 handgun.
One aspect that struck me immediately was the book's generous page count of 208. This ample amount of space allows for fascinating insights and anecdotes that add depth to the content. However, despite its depth, I did notice a slight lack of illustrations, which may have been beneficial to better understand the various aspects of the featured shotguns.
Overall, I found the "American & British 410 Shotguns" book to be a valuable resource, with its unique blend of history, research, and practical insights making it a standout guide for anyone interested in the world of shotguns.

đź”—Classic Old-West 410 Double Barrel Shotgun Toy Gun for Kids

https://preview.redd.it/wdp1muhw8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3f0bae755cb0753399665d4bb50affb1edcb740a
The Parris Toys Coachman Double-Barrel Shotgun Toy Gun for Kids takes us back to the Old West era in the most exciting way. With its realistic design, the toy gun quickly became my little one's favorite plaything during costumes and pretend play. The double barrel feature truly stands out, adding an extra level of authenticity to their make-believe adventures.
However, I do wish it were easier to switch between the two barrels - a minor inconvenience that didn't dampen the overall enjoyment of the toy. Its connection to American history also brought in some engaging conversation starters.

đź”—Realistic 410 Double Barrel Shotgun for Ages 5+ with Ejecting Shells and 4 Shells Included

https://preview.redd.it/endym3xw8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa50fa2b4d0956ce68214940a1eb16635338362a
In my daily life, I've often found myself wishing I could relive the thrilling Western Legends experiences. The Double Barrel Shotgun has been the perfect companion on that journey. The realistic shotgun sound it produces is both exhilarating and immersive, transporting me straight into the midst of a Wild West showdown. With the 4 gun shells included, my Western experiences have never been more authentic and exciting.
However, the product has had its fair share of frustrations as well. Firstly, the age grading of 5+ can be a bit restrictive for some, as it leaves out a significant portion of potential users. Another drawback is the battery life; being limited to only AA x 2 (included) can be quite inconvenient during extended playtimes.
All in all, the Western Legends Double Barrel Shotgun has been a hit-and-miss experience for me. Its strengths lie in the realistic sound effects and the convenience of having the gun shells provided. Yet, it's let down by the limited age grading and battery life.

đź”—410 Double Barrel Shotgun - 1866 Old West Collectible

https://preview.redd.it/8zz5ez7x8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a61da3f27a9f22178e2ddd88278ad8b3d5246466
I was excited to get my hands on the 1866 Double Barrel Derringer with Gold Finish, a classic replica gun inspired by William Elliot's design for Remington. What struck me immediately was its compact size, measuring only 5 inches overall - perfect for concealed carry in the old west. However, the hinged barrel required a bit more effort to open for reloading, making it slightly less convenient than I anticipated.
The weapon's engravings and faux ivory grips added an elegant touch to its functional design, making it a great display piece. I was pleased that it weighed like the real thing, which added to its authenticity appeal. Though it doesn't function, it definitely looked the part, which made it a compelling addition to my replica gun collection.
The icing on the cake was the price, which was surprisingly affordable for such an intricately detailed piece. I can see myself recommending this replica derringer as a gift or simply to add some flair to a collector's display. Just be prepared for the handling experience, as it might be a bit cumbersome for some users. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would love to add more of these relics to my collection.

đź”—Historical French Carbine Rifle Replica with 28.75" Barrel Length

The Denix Replicas 1037 French Carbine Rifle Replica is a fascinating piece to have in your collection. This miniature 1763 Charleville musket replica, crafted in a carbine style, is a perfect representation of the original weapon that made a considerable impact during the Revolutionary War. Standing tall at an overall length of 45 inches and boasting a 28.75-inch barrel, this remarkable replica exudes the look and feel of the genuine article.
From my personal experience, I was genuinely captivated by its meticulous attention to detail - from the flintlock mechanism to the wood finish. It was an absolute delight to hold and examine closely, making it an excellent addition to any history or weapon enthusiast's collection.
However, the size might be somewhat challenging for individuals with smaller displays or limited storage space. Nonetheless, this seemingly small inconvenience doesn't outweigh the satisfaction one would get from owning such a historically significant and well-crafted piece.
Overall, the Denix Replicas 1037 French Carbine Rifle Replica is a must-have for anyone interested in exploring the rich tapestry of weapons history.

đź”—Realistic Mossy Oak Pump Shotgun Toy

https://preview.redd.it/5q4pti0y8w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3c9575c451452c91f5780622049a26715948867a
I was surprised by the excitement when I handed the Mossy Oak Pump Toy Shotgun to my 7-year-old son. The toy shotgun was a great size for him to play with without any worry about safety. The plastic was strong enough to withstand everyday rough play, which was a plus.
One feature that stood out was the ability to eject shells with such a real-life pump action. This was something that made the pretend game even more entertaining for my son. Additionally, the toy offered realistic firing noises that added to the overall authenticity of the experience.
However, there were a few issues that we noticed. Firstly, the quality of the plastic felt lightweight and could be easily mistaken for a real gun. Secondly, on occasion, the shells would fail to eject properly, causing some frustration for my son.
Overall, the Mossy Oak Pump Toy Shotgun provided an enjoyable experience for my son when he was pretending to be a hunter or a soldier in a make-believe world. While I wish it was a bit stronger and had fewer issues with shell ejection, the excitement it brought to my son made it a worthwhile purchase.

Recoil Reduction

Recoil reduction is an important feature for a 410 Double Barrel Shotgun, especially for beginners or those with sensitivity to recoil. Some shotguns feature built-in recoil reduction systems, such as rubber recoil pads or recoil-absorbing stocks. Consider investing in a recoil pad or stock for a more comfortable shooting experience.

Safety Features

A 410 Double Barrel Shotgun should have safety features to ensure safe handling. Look for manual safeties that can be engaged when the gun is not in use. Also, consider shotguns with a transfer-bar safety mechanism, which prevents the gun from firing unless the trigger is pulled completely. Safety should always be a top priority when selecting a shotgun.

Price and Budget

The price of a 410 Double Barrel Shotgun varies depending on its features, brand, and quality. Determine your budget and consider the features you prioritize when making a purchase. Remember, it's essential to invest in a reliable and high-quality shotgun for the best performance and safety.
When selecting a 410 Double Barrel Shotgun, consider factors such as action type, chamber size, barrel length, weight and balance, recoil reduction, safety features, and price. Research and compare various options to find the best fit for your needs and preferences. Remember to always prioritize safety when handling firearms.

This is my first post on Reddit so I apologize if it's a duplicate but earlier today I added Freon to my AC unit on my 2015 Chevy Malibu during the process I failed to start the car and have the AC running full blast about 1 or 2 seconds before I remembered that that's required The AC unit was working properly it just seemed kind of low I live in Phoenix it gets hot according to the gauge on the bottle it seemed low I started the car I had the AC running full blast direct current not recycled current through the cabin filter emptied the bottle of Freon I had which was about 1/4 to halfway full from the previous year of me adding the freon from the same bottle with the gauge that showed the level once I turn the car on and had the AC running full blast the bottle emptied before I did that the bottle didn't disperse correctly that's what made me remember that the AC needed to be on full blast and the car running in order to fill the AC lines it was still working after this process later on I went to the airport to pick up my family and the AC stopped working or I should say was blowing hot air. while waiting a checked the fuse andq the relay they were working because the AC unit compressor was clicking on and off like it was seeking freon I thought I might have blown a gasket and created a leak due to the improper installation of freon previously stated about an hour hour and a half operational time goes by after I drop my family off at their hotel in Phoenix Scottsdale I go home to my spot and the AC starts working again I'm thinking that I created a air bubble or pocket in the lines or compressor I'm curious to know if this is a possibility as of tomorrow I'm going to buy another AC charging bottle of freon with the gauge on it and see what condition the freon is in and if I need to add more and just have it as a spare can you please help me with this it's the difference between taking it to a mechanic and just understanding the mistake thank you.

2024.05.31 09:23 mrlee5731420 2015 Chevy Malibu LS 2.5 4 cylinder air conditioning question

Earlier today I added Freon to my 2015 Chevy Malibu for my AC unit it was previously working but it seemed low I added it last year and I still had a half a can left of the old Freon it had a gauge on it when I added the freon I failed to start the car and have the AC running full blast I remembered that last minute stopped what I was doing turned on the car and proceeded to empty the can into the AC lines like I said it was previously working and it worked after that then about an hour after that operational time the AC started blowing hot air for about an hour hour and a half operational time it continued to do that after about that amount of time and after stayed time it started blowing cold air again I'm curious to know if I accidentally added an air bubble into the compressor I checked the fuse I checked the relay all seemed good I could hear the AC unit clutch clicking on and off what seemed like it was searching for Freon according to the gauge it was in proper level so in all determination and eliminating all things I figured I added an air bubble because it started working again properly is this a possibility?

2024.05.31 05:35 RTT193719 Replacing Interior Lights - 2004 GX470

My daily driver is a 2004 GX470 that was passed down from my parents. I wanted to swap out the interior lights which I believe are halogen(?). I found some LED bulbs on Amazon for this purpose but would replacing halogen bulbs with LEDs cause them to flicker or even blow a fuse (worst-case scenario?).
There are the LEDs I was wondering buying: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LKCLP1G/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A1UKOS4DALQSHT&psc=1

Rear bump stop frame bent
I was inspecting my 2004 chevy suburban RWD as I am about to throw new suspension parts into the front and rear and I found the drivers side bump stop holder is completely bent. It is attached to the frame of the vehicle.
How do I bend this back or what is the best fix for this?

2024.05.30 20:48 AdDelicious8556 Car headlights Repair

Greetings! Can anyone please recommend a shop that specializes in headlight repairs?
The night-time running lights are very dim at night and the dealership is recommending the replacement of both complete headlight units stating that there is a short in the fuse or something for thousands of dollars.
I simply can't afford that right now. They work but dimly and I would rather not blind on coming traffic with high beams.

Help/// Friend tried to jump his truck, saw smoke.
My friend tried to jump his 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 and said he couldn't find a ground. He hooked the negative to the bolt here and turned the power pack on. Had the positive where it belonged. There was smoke so he shut it off. He got a new battery (pictured) but the truck still doesn't turn over. No crank or anything. Did he blow a fuse or something else? Thank you.

What can I do to fix it? I don't have enough money to take it to the shop.
I'm reading the fuse box diagram but I don't even know which one is for the blinkers to be honest. https://manuals.plus/ford/ford-f-150-2004-2008-fuses-and-fuse-box-diagram-and-location

2024.05.30 16:15 WA81_Brenda Cavalier stalling

I'm driving a 2004 Chevy Cavalier and it recently started to die when accelerating on highways. In town it has been working okay but when I try speeding up to highway speed it dies. Let it sit for a little bit and I can start it back up but can only gently push the gas to speed up. I can eventually get up to speed but there is a lot of honking and middle fingers on the way...

2024.05.30 15:47 PlzzaHut Does the radio on/off controlled by canbus/ACC?

I have a 2014 renualt megane 3, when I unlock the car. The small single-color monitor on the dashboard starts showing renault on the screen. Only when I start the car. The radio starts to work.I turn the engine off and open the driver's side door, it stops playing music and the small single cooler monitor shows renault again.
Is it controlled by ACC wire?
The simulation is I have a carplay monitor powered by a cigarette lighter, I unlock the car it starts work and when I start the engine it reboots ( of course)
And when I left, it was still on for several minutes until the ECU cut off all the electric devices.
What if I want the cigarette lighter to have the same working logic as the radio can I use OBD to program it or I have to wire in the fuse box?

2024.05.30 04:14 stationcommando Cannot get hardwired cam to power on

Cannot get hardwired cam to power on
Vantrue N4 Pro installed in a 2024 Golf R. I’ve installed the hardwire kit and cannot get the cam to power up.
Here are the things I’ve tried:
Verified fuse box 12V constant power for Bat connector. Verified 12V power on ignition for ACC connector. Verified continuity from add-a-fuse blades to USB C connector. Verified fuses not blown. Verified ground has continuity. Verified that cam powers up with cigarette lighter plug. Tried both voltage settings on the hardwire kit. Tried multiple fuse box locations. Tried multiple ground locations.
Here are the things I haven’t tried yet:
Haven’t checked amperage on the fuse box locations (my multimeter doesn’t have this feature. Better multimeter en route). Haven’t tried just driving it around for a while. Will do that tomorrow. Haven’t verified ground wire continuity because I have no idea what to check it against.
What am I missing? This really has me stumped.

2024.05.30 03:45 ThatSlytherinRonBlak Hi

ok, so, my grandma has a 2013 Chevy Cruze Eco, the Bluetooth connects but doesn't work, looking into the fuse tomorrow but I'm asking what could be wrong in case it's not the fuse, and the cd will sometimes eject when you start it, what could be causing that, if the problem is the units themselves, where can I find either oem units of both or find an upgraded unit that's compatible with the backup camera that comes with the car and has a cd slot/is compatible with an oem unit with the cd slot, I thank you in advance

2024.05.30 03:13 IanSnyder2004 My Cheeto truck is broke

2011 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 6.0 Gasoline.
So today while driving to Chipotle for lunch, and my truck threw like 6 codes (all about the same thing), they are all for my truck running too lean. I usually run 87 in my truck, (it is able to run 87, 89, and 91) So anyways, my truck feels like it’s running fine, either way I’m gonna replace my fuel injectors. After I get home work my little brother decide to go get food. On the way out of our neighborhood, at the stop sign to turn out into the main road. My truck goes into neutral, but still shows its in drive. My little brother was checking the codes with his eBay OBDII reader. We put it in while in park, but he didn’t connect until we were right at the stop sign. Could connecting the OBDII while driving cause this? It also cut out all my dash gauges. After disconnecting the sensor and turning off the truck for a few minutes, it started working again. (Engine code still there) Any suggestions???

2024.05.30 02:45 SkewBaller Need Help 2004 I35

Hello FIN Community. I need some help here. I need to move on from my first dream car, 2004 I35. Even in the very rough condition it is in, it is tough to part with. Absolutely loved this car! It has everything; rear sun shade, cornering headlights, speed control volume, the list goes on. It was the smoothest ride, great power, beautiful interior. I drove this car for 13 years and many minor things to started fail . Then I got into a 3 car accident and the car was damaged on the front right and front left. The damage did not alter the drive itself or any functionality on the car, just body damage (the headlight/turn signal still works). At any rate, I am trying to determine what, if any, the value of this car is. Here are the known issues; about 120k miles, needs a new starter, needs a new battery, neither rear doors open (sensor?), neither rear windows go down (motofuse?), valve cover gasket oil leak, 1-2 other minor oil leaks, AC has a minor freon leak. The interior is in excellent condition. When the car drives, it floats on air. I need to get rid of it. It been rotting in my driveway and is covered in pollen (that’s the yellow you see on the body). It was last driven about a year ago and it was as smooth as it ever was. Am I dreaming or is there still value here? Appreciate the input.

2024.05.30 02:18 Ayrianna45 Cigarette lighter fuse using power?

I just brought a 2010 rav4 and I am wondering if something is plugged into the cigarette fuse if it will drain the battery when the engine is off. I understand newer version do not drain it but I am just curious if the older model drains the battery, thank you!
