Hi all, somewhat new to trainer road, not new to cycling. Worked with a coach for a year but did not love it. I find myself having much more fun with trainer road / coaching myself. Anyhow heres my question.
Last year I had an FTP of 298w over the winter I rode on and off and did a ton of ski touring. My FTP def dropped, but also seems to be recovering quickly. I am extremely weak at ramp tests relative to 20 min tests. I did the ramp test on TR and came out with a 250w ftp. 2 months later the ai detected me at 260w but outside last weekend I did 3x15 mins at what felt like threshold at 293w average between the 3 sets. Last week, when I did the pope workout indoors I turned up the difficulty to 110% and still had a average heart rate of 132bpm and averaged in the 130's to 140's in each interval. Once I'd turned it up to 115% or so my legs became noticably fatigued. (threshold HR is 168 and max is 192). At what point do I manually crank the FTP up vs just waiting for 18 more days for another AI FTP detection to catch up? Based on my fitness from last year, I expect to regain a similar FTP rather quickly before hitting a wall of slower progression. How hard should the bolting house / these VO2 workouts be? How should it feel? should I barely be able to finish or should I be able to feel like I can hold the power for longer? Should I be using ERG or just giving it my all for each miniute of tonights workout? any help is appreciated!

Hello fabrics.
I recently passed the DP-600 after a lot of studying and trial and error in my trial fabric workspace.
I want to enrich my linkedin/github with a project that walks me back through everything I've learned through Fabric training. I am planning on changing careers from business planning to data engineering, because data engineering and analytics are incredibly interesting to me and fun to work with. I initially started this project just for Power BI, as I also just earned my PL-300, but after wrestling with the data for awhile I expanded it to include all of Fabric while I still have access.
Goal: Analyze public Slay the Spire run history to identify prescriptive choices to increase chances of beating level 50 boss.
Data: I found this repository on reddit a few years ago, but I didn't have the skills to import and analyze. They are compressed JSON files with a .gz extension and there are a LOT OF THEM. I don't have any experience with JSON files whatsoever, so wanted to tackle this so I can learn something new.

Plan:

1. Download the compressed JSON files, unzip either beforehand or within a notebook.
2. Either Spark Notebook or Data Pipeline or Upload Files to Lakehouse as a one off to get the bronze data into the lakehouse
3. Invoke another Spark Notebook to flatten the JSON files and get me to a silver level.
4. Explore the data and show off use of analysis tools to answer my list of focused questions I am trying to answer.

Questions I Have:

1. I am having trouble importing and unzipping all of the JSON.gz files from the 77 million run repository linked to above. Un-nesting all of the lists and records for even a single file makes Power BI/power query grind to a halt. I could use a pro's advice on how to think about such a big slug of compressed JSON files, surely this isn't too much for Fabric to handle, right?
2. I don't know Python well. Enough to pass the DP-600, but I get a lot of help from Chat GPT or at least I think I am. I still want to use it to make this a valuable learning experience for myself which is why I've decided notebooks may be a good solution for ingestion and flattening.
3. I don't know how a Gold layer really fits into an ad-hoc analysis like this. Since I'm the end user, is the gold layer just something like the semantic model I populate with the silver medallion data and then create measures and calculated columns for analysis?
4. Is the best way to share a project like this a short journal as a linkedin post with screenshots for my process and what I learned along the way?

Looking for general guidance on something like this and if anyone has any thoughts for an intrepid up-and-coming data engineer trying to keep learning and have something to show off at the end.

A few weeks ago, I hosted a nice elderly couple. Because I rent a spare room in my apartment, I have instant booking off. I clearly list the dimensions of the room (it’s big for the area I am in), amenities available and those not available in the room like a tv. They had a 5 star rating so was happy to host them.
They asked for many things prior to arrival. They asked for an early check in. I gave it to them at no cost. They asked me to book & arrange parking for them. I did so, paid and forwarded the details to them, amongst other non-paid things such as doing their grocery shop prior to arrival etc.
I work from home, however during their stay, the husband would knock on my office door with questions on how to get around. I was amenable and got them to download City Mapper on their phones instead of memorising Google maps directions off their laptop.
It felt like I was hosting family instead of a guest and I didn’t really mind as I figured they are elderly. They even wanted to socialise after their days out and made me a meal from their country.
Imagine my shock when I got a 3 star from them. The review was mostly nitpicking. They said the bed was too hard (bed comfort is very subjective) and I have never received a review about the bed in over 50 reviews. They also mentioned the lack of amenities clearly listed and showed as not in the room.
I responded politely, mentioning that these were not in the listing. I also mentioned all the extras they received for no cost, including arranging a home Dr for the wife who arrived with food poisoning. I was clear in my review that I offer a home stay and not a hotel with a 24 hour concierge service expected by this couple at homestay prices.
After the review, I was a bit upset. But, felt assured that my response would show future guests that they were outliers.
I just got notified by Airbnb that they had requested the review to be removed! And, a lovely note from them telling me how I made them seem like insane and ungrateful people.
Thanks to you all for your advice on how to handle such guests in replies to their reviews. I believe that’s what got them to remove it.

What It Does:

• The bot generates AI images based on user prompts using Stable Diffusion.
• Advanced Features:
  • Enhanced NSFW checker.
  • Age check via Img Detection to ensure minors are not depicted.
  • Idle prompts are randomly generated when the bot is idle.
  • Top 3 Creator Ranking: Automatically updated ranking of the top 3 creators.
  • Styles Integration: Use styles with commands like !create [Anime] a Dog to generate images in specific styles by appending the correct prompts automatically.
  • The latest 50 generations, including the prompts, are available for full-size download on the website.

How It Works:

• Simply type !create followed by your image description in the chat. Examples include:
  • !create Warzone, Dog, Epic, Wallpaper, UHD, Cinematic Background, Cyberpunk Style
  • !create beautiful photo superseding human's imagination with astounding detail, depth of field, blurry background
  • Use styles with commands like !create [Anime] a Dog to generate images in specific styles.

Coop Mode:

• A random function named Coop starts a mini-game when at least 10 chatters are active. Users can submit prompts, and the bot will create a combined image from all entries. J4F.

Image Storage:

• All generations are automatically uploaded to my webspace. The latest 50 generations are available for free download.

Tech Stack:

• Fully developed in Python.
• Utilizes a merge of the Bolt Hyper model and Cyberrealistic Lightning, with a 10-step generation process.
• The prompt & creator are written into the meta-info, the data is easily read in the live view and on the website, and this is how it is temporarily stored.

Display Features:

• Each generated image is displayed live on the stream for at least 5 seconds.
• Waiting queues are managed for image generation.

Future Plans:

• Considering adding options for image orientation (portrait, square, 16:9), though I’m still working on how to display these nicely on stream.

No Monetization:

• This project is a labor of love with about 2000 lines of code. I enjoyed coding it, and I'm very satisfied with the end result.

Safe for Twitch TOS:

When it gets to 100% it says verifing then goes to install 1% what the sigma

For me it's a simple change of matchups honestly that's allows for more interesting battles. Also when the trainers lose they don't leave the show they stick around for commentary and more interactions and stuff.
New match ups are as follows:
Round 1 Leon vs Steven While I like Steven and all with the exception of Alain he doesn't have a real connection to anyone and so he would be the obligatory first round lose to Leon but it isn't stuffed into the second half of the first episode
Round 2 Alain vs Diantha Alain is a popular character and main rival to Ash in XYZ. Having the two trainers from the same region battle each other to see who really is the strongest would be a joy to watch Alain would win marking him as another young trainer to rise to champion along with Ash and Iris. A real passing of the torch moment.
Round 3 Iris vs Cynthia The only good round 1 matchup as these characters have a previous conection.
Round 4 Ash vs Lance Same as Alain and Diantha having a final battle between the two would be far more impactful that Ash vs Steven
Those are my new match ups round 1. Alain would lose to Leon round 2 but it would be 4-6 to make Leon clearly stronger but not so much so that Ash's win looks like plot. From there it would go the same as in the og series cuz from there it was great.

Taking the exam in July, I’ve downloaded the CFP app and paid for the premium service for 3 months and have the CFP Master app, basically I’m taking an hour every day to take practice question/tests. The questions I get wrong I will go back and review why to better understand them. I know there is the Dalton Review and a few others that are similar but seem a little expensive for what I can only imagine is a similar bank of test questions and the live review classes. Does anyone have any recent experience with any of these apps and how they relate to the actual test or should I just pay for the Dalton Review? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

Like REALLY vibed with. We both ran yellow chromas to match each other bot lane. We color diffed the enemy bot lane, its probably why we stomped them at all, honestly.
But I failed my rando teammate. We won and I alt tabbed to look at youtube shorts. Before I knew it, the time to honor them had passed. They honored me, but I didn't honor them. I look like a fucking villain. But If I go back 3 seasons in my match history, I can right click some dude and report them. But I can't right click someone from 10 seconds ago to honor them?

I am brand new to pc gaming and I wanted to see if my Laptop could run Arma 3. I went to the site called Can You Run it, where it prompted a download in google chrome, I did not trust this and deleted it from my download history in Chrome without ever opening the file.
Is my laptop fine? It's brand new and I sorta feel like an idiot. I ran a norton virus scan right after but i'm still slightly worried.
