Hey there maplers!
As the titel suggests, I'm thinking about switching mains.
So with the past/current event I made a Bucc boss mule for CRA and Lomien using the 6/6 strategy using the Lucky hat.
I have got to say it has been the most fun I have had on a character in a long time lol. Would it be worth it to Hyper Burn my Bucc which sits at 211?
Typing this out makes me think lets do it, but will I miss out on some rewards from the burning event?

Hi, i have a hard time finding a build that i enjoy. I'm at lvl150 right now, and i plan to level up anyway since i don't do PvP or even co-op.
Last build i used was a modified version of a build i saw (maybe on fextralife wiki) with a lot of dragon incantations (scarlet, dragonice and claw) and eleonora's poleblade. It's effective and decently fun to play, i'm looking for something similar, with dragons incantations, for level 150, with samurai as a starting class.
Tho, i'd love to change weapon type, i like faster weapons and did not have a chance to try that so far.
Broken and OP builds are very welcome too, i don't hate it, but builds with a lot of buffs have a tendency to lose me...
Bonus point if the outfit has a hat-looking item or is edgy.

I've never seen an actual npc wear any headgear with 3 exceptions:
Raiders with gas and sack masks
Synth guards inside the institute (no patrols or synths at other locations)
Diamond city security
I've noticed hats aren't too rare. Goodneighbor, Diamond city, and random encounter Npc's usually have an abundance of hats. I've never seen a metal, army, or combat helmet outside of shops.
Is there a mod to fix this or am I crazy and this isn't a thing?

We are getting to the toddler stage and it grinds my gears about how gendered everything is. For girls, everything is pink and furry and rainbows and unicorns. For boys, everything is shades of blue with dinosaurs, planets, construction vehicles.
Why do boys get dinosaurs and planets and vehicles? Why do girls get rainbows, unicorns, and flowers?
Why do boys get blue and girls get pink?
Those things are fine but they are the only option 90% of the time! I am also so pissed that it is a "boy" thing to have STEM-type things like dinosaurs and planets. Not only should they get a dose of rainbows, but my daughter should have planets and dinos that she loves.
We have never really adhered to the lines, so if we want to get a blue dino hat that has a strong man on it for my daughter, great -- but does everything really need to follow the edge lines?

I bought an Xbox specifically for this game last year and despite all the bashing it’s received I really enjoy it. I got up to about level 130 doing side quests and stealing anything not nailed down for months, all whilst doing the main mission and waiting to NG+ until I got all the temples/powers. However, Vlad stopped giving me locations and I went online to find what I needed to do. I found that Barrett should have given me the last location but he was dead at this point. So I put the game down in December and didn’t return until I thought it had been patched (I do like to 100% games so it was really frustrating). I turned it back on about 6 weeks ago and thought I’ll just NG+ anyway and do it right this time. So, Barrett was with me for ages, he was my best mate and I explored all his dialogue and did his little mission about his ex. I even stopped him being killed this time round too. The only thing I haven’t done is flirt with him because he looks stupid in that neon dance hat I make the annoying prick wear all the time, and he only gives me shitty food he finds lying around (where as Andreja knows I like the money!). But the bastard has still not given up his temple location! Is there something I’m missing?

I’m trying to get a gauge on market value before an upcoming annual performance review. I’m a 27yr old with 7 years of Banking experience, primarily underwriting (commercial, residential, and consumer). At the moment I am a VP at a small institution (6 years here) and I do the following:

• Underwrite all new loans of all types. (typically 200+ loans a year)
• Manage and direct secondary market loan sales.
• Pre-closing quality control review of residential and consumer loans (reviewing application, title, insurance, etc before closing is scheduled).
• Complete all annual financial reviews for commercial relationships.
• Manage prep for and meet with auditors for all loan audits (internal, regulatory, etc). Primary contact for any questions.
• Review all appraisals and other valuations
• Update the institution’s loan policy and all loan procedures.
• I also serve as the security officer and do quarterly systems testing (alarms, dye packs, etc)

I have gained a lot of tasks in the past two years but salary has remained relatively flat. Currently I’m sitting at $81,000.
I am looking for feedback as to what I should be expecting for compensation for this role. I have had a hard time comparing across other institutions because most job postings don’t have a salary and I wear a lot more hats at a small institution than I would at a big place. Thanks!

Am i a bad person for not wanting to be friends with someone?.... I'm a male 23,and i met this older guy through a gig, we have a lot in common and i genuinely think he's a pure person with a good heart, nobody is perfect so he also has his flaws like all of us, but I genuinely think this guy has a good heart and he is older than me, he kinda took me under his wind and he sometimes tries to treat me as his little brother....the only problem is that I'm currently in a phase of my life hat i have no Interest in going out the weekends , socialising, meeting new people and stuff like that... I just want to go university, go to work, go to gym and chill with my own company, I'm genuinely happy like this right now, I don't want anyone o anybody else to disrupt my peace..... But this guy constantly invites me places, he's organising things and involving me, every single week, and he is very insistive if i say a simple "no" without an excuse, so i basically need to lie to him and i hate lying..... Am i a bad person for not wanting a friendship? Am i being selfish?... What if he is like that because he is actually going through stuff and he needs friends to be next to?..maybe I'm just overthinking

The workshop is saturated with unusuals and warpaints that all look the same.
Now don't get me wrong, the quality of these warpaints are far superior than what we used to have a few years back, especially with warpaints accepted into the game. (cough 2021 smissmass cough)
But at some point you have to realize that there is only so much that you can with a warpaint when you try to follow the rules of an art style or using a base for the warpaint. (i am aware of the existance of warpaints w/ custom bases, but let's be honest Valve would never add one of those.)
The same, however, cannot be said for unusuals most of the time they are just copycats of existing unusuals made by Valve or unusuals accepted into the game, with the only difference being a recolor to green or purple.
In a perfect world, Valve would be aware of this information and maybe only accept hats and miscs; but sadly, this is not a perfect world.

In the episode where it’s discovered that Marie would read Ray’s journal when he was a kid - “I e-hat my mom” 😂 - Robert tells Ray that he also kept a journal but that it was kept in a safety deposit box while the decoy journal was under his bed. “Great chicken tonight!”
For years, I could have sworn that the episode closed with Marie entering a room where safety deposit boxes were kept, right as the credits kick in. She’s wearing black and dark sunglasses as the looks at the camera as the barred door closes, leading to the assumption that she’s now going to read Robert’s real journal. Did I make this scene up in my head??

First of all hello hope everyone is having a great day. I would say it's petty revenge because of how I got to tell the customer but maybe not. :)) For some background, when I was 14 I worked at this take away restaurant it was in a really busy place right on the sea front and in the summertime it was incredibly busy, it was a very small place and most of the staff that worked there was 14-18 except from the managers who were adults, we all worked insane shifts(probably not legal hours for the kids working there) and where always busy. I have SO many stories about this place but this is so funny to me. This day I was doing a long shift we hadn't stopped all day we opened at 10 and had a line out the door all day there was my friend,my manager, and me, my friend had just gone on break so it was just me upfront taking orders and running them out ,coffees,and crepes. Before anyone ordered food I made them aware of the wait which was about 20-30 long wait I know but very busy (we weren't allowed to stop taking orders) my manger was in the kitchen rushed off his feet one thing you have to know about the mangers there is that they are really sweet to the staff but not to rude customers they took no s**t, one lady came up to me in a huff as I was about to take another customers order and slammed her receipt down on the counter and said "has my order been called because I've been here for half an hour" I looked at the time on the receipt she had been there maybe for 10 minutes I was very polite and said in my customer service voice "I don't think so miss like I said when you ordered it was a 20-30 minute wait but I can check if you would like" she did an annoyed sigh and told me to "go check in the kitchen because it's outrageous that food takes as long if she had known she wouldn't have ordered and how unprofessional it was that that she wanted to go and it was ridiculous that her food wasn't here yet", so it walked back to the kitchen which was right behind me. It was a very small place so the kitchen and the front were very close together and you can hear things through them. I went up to my manager and said he has order number "whatever" been called out because the lady is upset that it's not there yet. I said it in a hush voice so she wouldn't hear me. My manager looked up and looked at her at the counter as she stood there staring him down. He looked at her directly in the eye and started shouting "You can tell her to "duck" off, and when her food is ready, it will be ready, she knows that it's busy and she still "ducking" ordered so if she is still being a "biscuits" she can go somewhere else, you can tell her that." Her mouth is gaped open, her eyes are sticking out of her skull and she looks genuinely horrified I walked back up to her and said "he said to tell you it will be out in just a second" and smiled ear to ear. She looked at me like I was a ghost and she just said "okay" and walked away. She didn't leave a bad review That was the best job I have ever had. It was the funniest place to work and I will never forget that place hats off to our managers who where absolute legend they dealt with so many customers who where rude to us, it's just because we where young they thought we wouldn't say anything back we never did but our managers did lol. I already have a feeling what Reddit is going to think about this, but I don’t have therapy until next week so I’m going to make a poor decision and ask the hive mind about it. Wife and I have been struggling in our marriage for a while. We’ve both been in therapy and working on ourselves and have been working on our relationship. I’ve been working on being a better partner and responding to her needs, but it’s a process. I’m not going to pretend like I’m a great husband. We both have our faults and our relationship is a product of that. I’ve been feeling insecure lately because she’s lost weight and has been working out. She looks fantastic, and is finally receptive to me complementing her appearance and telling her she is desirable. I’m currently back at my peak weight (I’ve been losing and regaining the same 50 lbs for a few years now) We have sex 6-12 times a year. She attributes that to low desire on her part, unrelated to anything to do with me or my behavioactions(we share cooking/cleaning responsibilities equally and I do more of the parenting responsibilities because her job is mostly evenings and weekends and some hat irregular). While discussing our desire mismatch the other day she just said “I feel like you just need a girlfriend to have sex with on the side”. I pushed back and said that’s not what I want and I don’t think it’s what she wants either. She responded by saying “as long as I didn’t know it would be fine”. I don’t want to sleep with anyone else. Our marriage would not survive it-and for all our problems, I do still love and care about her. Since then I haven’t been able to get the idea out of my head that she suggested it because she either wants to sleep around or already has-she’s a real estate agent so she would have plenty of opportunity to cheat without risk of being caught. I’m trying to accept that our marriage might already be over. I don’t think she would be honest with me about it if I asked directly. I’m considering trying to find out if she is cheating.
