So, I just downloaded this hack and it worked for a bit, but now the Poké Stops don't work and every time I try to catch a Pokémon, they break free and run away. I hope that I didn't get shadow banned right out of the gate, haha.

2024.05.20 04:21 thatvirtualboy An abstract wallpaper generator made for iPhone

Hi all. I made an app that uses AI to generate abstract wallpapers for your iPhone. It’s a unique app that‘s built around a community of users that share their creations. Due to API costs, the app does require a small subscription. However every 7th wallpaper is completely free for all users to download, no strings attached.
Here are some features I’m proud of:
Other great features:
*Requires an active subscription
Wall•Genie is designed to stand out against other wallpaper apps and image generator apps, and I think you’ll notice its charm right away.
I realize this app won’t be for everyone, like those who are already familiar with and using Generative AI tools, or those who are verbosely opposed to AI. But for anyone interested in creating abstract art, and downloading and sharing them with a community of users, you might enjoy it. Thanks for looking ✌️

2024.05.20 04:05 obamalizard2004 Theory on how God, Space-time, and Astral Projection Work

This is a bit of a longer post so stay with me here. This is really only a chunk of my overarching belief on how pretty much all things metaphysical work, including reincarnation, gods/angels/ghosts/all spirits, manifestation, witchcraft, and so on. But I'm sharing the part of the theory that specifically relates to Astral Projection for this sub. I have been sitting on this for a couple of years now without telling anyone, but I started writing it for my Book of Shadows (I am a witch), and I wanted to hear your guys' thoughts. I'm not claiming to have come up with these theories AT ALL but I think it's an interesting topic.
Regardless of religious beliefs, or whether God has what we would call “sentience”, there is no undeniability that God must be math itself. Now, I am not referring to deities (which many witches including myself work with, and I will delve into what these deities are and where they come from a different time), but GOD. We constantly refer to God as “omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient.” That’s what math is! Math dictates the laws of the universe; it exists in every atom and is the precursor to knowledge itself. Astrophysics is ultimately math– it is truly the LAWS of the Universe (and likely beyond). 1+1 will always equal 2, a complicated calculus equation will always have the same answer. No matter how a species were to write or perceive math, the math itself will always stay the same. Consider the famous Golden Record, aboard Voyager 1 and 2, a disk plated in gold that is traveling through space as I write this, and as you read this. Along with other information about humans and Earth, it contains a translation guide of our numerical system which can then be interpreted by any intelligent life who comes across the disk. By understanding our numerical system, they can then read the information in the disk, including coordinates to planet Earth. Math is the only language that all sentient beings can understand. And yet, Math will never be truly understandable to any being, at least in this plane of existence. What else could we call such a thing but God? A math equation could hypothetically be written for all conceivable and non-conceivable things, from the curve of your eyelashes to a wormhole. Math is perfect, always chaotic but never without structure. Now, I don’t want to offend any religious people; in theory, your God could still be real, but the physical manifestation of any all-powerful God that COULD exist is Math. Again, I’m not referring to deities that are not believed to be all-powerful (for example, the Greek pantheon: Greek gods are NOT all-powerful, all-knowing, or always good), I believe these deities are something different entirely which I will explain another time.
Let's tie this notion to the idea of the fourth dimension (and higher dimensions). The easiest way I can explain this theory is by comparing our relationship with time to the relationship between a 2-dimensional being and the 3rd dimension. So, we are 3-dimensional beings. We have height, width, and depth, as do all things in this plane of existence. But we can only exist at one point in time. This “point” is only hypothetical, though– we measure time through manmade inventions such as clocks or calendars. But time does not physically exist, even though it dictates all things in our lives. Time causes the birth and eventual death of all life. It moves along a linear line, meaning to us, all things happen in chronological order. The Big Bang happened first, then the creation of planets, solar systems, water, life, and so on. The birth of your grandmother happened before yours. Now think of how a 2-dimensional being would perceive the 3rd dimension, and it will be quite similar. A 2-dimensional being only has height and width, but not depth. It is probably aware of depth, but can never see depth, or feel depth. It, and everything else in that dimension, can only exist at one point of depth, which would move forward in a linear fashion, and no being in that dimension could ever go back to a previous depth, or see the “future depth”. But of course, to us, this is inconceivable to understand, because we live in a dimension where an infinite amount of depths coexist all at once. You may see where this is going. Perhaps someone would like to ask a fourth-dimensional being, “What is it like being a time-traveler? Can you change the past/future?” But how would you respond if someone asked you: “What is it like being a depth-traveler? Can you change previous depths/future depths?” This question doesn’t really make sense because not only do we move depth-wise (on the Z-plane if we are thinking in terms of a x-y graph) when we walk, drive, even breathe, but all of our organs and cells and atoms have a depth, which change without us thinking about it. This is probably very similar to how a fourth-dimensional being would view time. The Big Bang did not happen first, nor last. It is always happening, as are the births of all who came before you, as are the deaths of all who come after you. Just because we view time linearly doesn’t mean it IS linear. Our brains were not built to wrap our heads around this, but all things that could ever possibly have happened, or could ever possibly happen in the future, are currently happening. This ties to a philosophy that has existed for thousands of years and shows up in witchcraft often: the idea of Oneness. That one is all, all is one, that all things are connected, As above, so below… The microcosm is the macrocosm, the macrocosm is the microcosm. This completely throws the conversation of free will, and the butterfly effect, out the window. “Do we truly get to choose our actions, or is everything predetermined, due to God or timelessness, or whatever we want to call it?” We wonder, “if I had chosen XYZ differently… if I had chosen to buy a different drink on February 18th, 2016, would my life be completely different now?” But all these questions have no real weight when time is NOT chronological. You can’t choose or NOT choose anything, because all things, all results, all causes, simultaneously exist. I like to believe that all things exist as one big jumbled math equation. This equation is constantly changing due to every individual and even non-sentient object in the universe. All things affect this equation, and yet it is always dictated by the same mathematical principles. Again, I do not think the human brain can truly comprehend this, but this means “free will” and “predestination” co-exist, if we MUST think in those terms (but I have already said I think those terms are 3-dimensional bologney). You can already guess that this, of course, means the multiverse exists.
Your soul is essentially a concentration of this mathematical life force that exists in all atoms and therefore all things– this is not unique to my theory. You have probably already heard the phrase “You are a small piece of the universe experiencing itself.” Again, this is how you are connected to all things, and how you exist aside from your physical body. This aligns with the commonly accepted concept that when you astral project, you are shifting your consciousness to a different plane of existence. But what if we bring this idea of timelessness and the multiverse theory into the conversation? If all I have said is true, there is an infinite amount of alternate universes. Let's say you had an OBE where you went to Mars. But there’s an alternate universe where you really did go to Mars in the future, and if all possible futures are simultaneously happening, and you are connected to all of these events due to this “big jumbled math equation”... that is how you can experience going to Mars, or going in the past to see your mother as a child, or to see a concert from 5 years ago. You have your “home” universe, and your “home” body, and your “home” time, but our souls are 4-dimensional beings that transcend the 3rd dimension and can become one with God. This would also make sense with the idea of “raising/lowering your vibrations”, since vibrations are waves which are just mathematical equations (think y=sinx or y=cosx). You are mathematically aligning yourself with the part of the “universal math equation” that is also on that vibration, resulting in common experiences such as AP, manifestation, encounters with good and bad spirits, chakra balances/imbalances, and so on, because as with the laws of physics, math demands balance/symmetry (like when you probably heard in algebra: “what you do on one side of the equal sign, you must do on the other side).
Hopefully this is digestible enough. And if anyone is curious, I have never done drugs before lol

2024.05.20 03:58 xXDaphodileXx Try 2Captcha For A Change!

Here's a very short summary of what a "Worker" on 2Captcha does; Click start, wait for a captcha to appear, and do your best to solve them. Don't worry, the captchas are very simple and easy. For example, you're tasked to choose which of the 6 choices has the number 14 (7 times) while taking into account the short time allotted for each task. I used to hate this one since the time was shorter back then and you have to find the right answer 20 times ( o ___ o ) And it wasn't just a few dice per option so it was confusing and irritating to be honest XD Thankfully, they added more time for the tasks YAY! either that or I just assumed they gave us workers more time due to the frequent and similar complaints :P
If you want to increase your earnings with 2Captcha you may (but I believe it's more appropriate to say SHOULD XD) install their software. But if you're afraid to download and install anything on your pc or mobile phone, it's absolutely FINE since you still have the option of working through their website or even on Telegram. I just prefer using their apps for both windows and phones.
I've already mentioned in one of my previous post about 2Captcha having an auto earn feature when using their software. I actually haven't tried it on Telegram etc. since you know, I prefer the apps haha Even though auto earning is not guaranteed for ALL captchas, it still helps you earn little by little. In time, your $0.00015 balance will grow and turn into $1 or maybe even up to $10 and so on. It is very possible to earn such an amount BUT of course, it still depends on your diligence and what kind of captcha you'll need to solve.
I am still not very active due to personal issues so my overall earnings is less than $5. It's not much right?! But for me, it still helps with my expenses in a way.
There are lots of options when you cash out but my preferred method is through Payeer (minimum withdrawal amount of $0.50). I love testing out apps or sites that have very low thresholds :> At least they pay, unlike the other sites or apps that promised high amounts of money for your time and will not even let your withdraw your money. But that's for another discussion XD
Withdrawing your earnings' pretty easy once you've already set up your chosen method of payment (wallet type), enter the amount you wish to withdraw, and then request for a payout. You'll then see your payout list just below that to keep track of your transaction. They even send an email right after so you're sure the payout request will be processed. Did I mention that the wait time for your money is very fast??! Because it is! I once received my payout in less than 30 minutes but the payout request processing still varies :>
Feel free to comment or message me if you want see my other withdrawals or payouts~
Thank you for taking the time to read this post of mine! I hope you'll have a lovely day or night~ <3

2024.05.20 03:57 HereToAskTechQs Super slow wake from sleep time on t480

Almost done configuring my new T480. Finished getting Manjaro installed and all of my usual binds set up and I finished getting firmware upgrades installed. The only thing left is an issue where the laptop takes forever to wake up from sleep when I either suspend or close the lid.
I have absolutely no clue what's causing this. The device boots from cold faster than it wakes from sleep. Not only this I was going back to my t430 with an almost identical install and the t430 wakes from sleep almost the instant you open the lid?!?! so what the hell is going on?
The only differences between the two machines are the t480 has the stock nvme and the t430 has a samsung sata ssd. additionally the t480 has a dual install with windows 11 installed on a separate partition as this was the os the device came with. I figured it was nice to have a free copy of windows 11 and I figured I'd leave it installed in case I ever need it for something but I mainly run to manjaro. Noteworthy - win11 wakes from sleep instantly so it's just a manjaro issue
I've tried various bios tweaks as well as any and all updates. here's the output from dmesg, it didn't seem like there was anything in it that seemed wrong to me but I'm not terribly familiar with it.

2024.05.20 03:56 CunningAndRunning Should I hold on any hope of getting her back?

A month ago, my (M30) girlfriend (F22) broke up with me. We had been together nearly 3.5 years. Should I hold on any hope we might get back together? She said that she still loves me and wants to reconsider in 6-9 months. This, along with some love shown after the breakup has given me some semblance of hope. Do you think that is a foolish mindset to keep?
Prior to the break-up, we had been fighting about body weight, more specifically target weight, while researching ozempic. I really hurt her feelings when I suggested she could lose even more weight than she wanted. She left to her moms house to decompress. When she came back, I never made a real effort to apologize or smooth things over, which admittedly was callous.
The week went on and resentment grew between both of us. Neither was willing to start that conversation. After a week of an awkward passive aggressiveness, she came home from work and broke up with me. She said that she couldn’t go on living like this. That she was unhappy with our relationship and the fact we had been stuck in a rut for too long.
I was shocked and hurt when she did this. I told her that was fine and that she could move out if she was truly unhappy with our relationship. She asked me why I wasn’t going to fight for the relationship. Saying she was the one who always apologizes or starts the conversations that require apology. I don’t think this is entirely true, but more recently that probably was the case.
I found out later, that night she downloaded Tinder, supposedly out of anger and insecurity at my carefree attitude regarding the breakup.
We decided to try and figure out our problems and keep the relationship going. About 2 weeks later she called it off. Saying she was unsure about the relationship and that it wasn’t fair to either to continue while she was unsure about a future. She moved back in to her parents house that night.
Over the past 3 weeks she has been slowly moving out of our apartment. We’ve had sex, on multiple occasions during the moving out process. She would tell me she loves me.
I suggested that maybe in the future, there’s a possibility we could get back together after we heal and mature. She said she felt the same way and that her mom had told her that as well. She suggested that in 6-9 months we get together to reevaluate.
Today, she came over to move out some of the last few items. Her energy was totally different. She said she didn’t want to be physical and that she was considering celibacy to help her healing. I asked if she still liked her idea of reconsidering in 6-9 months and she said yes. She said we should probably stop intimacy but she thinks it might be nice to occasionally go out as friends.
We are broken up, so we have both agreed that we don’t have any obligations and are free to do whatever we like. So I realize hemy mind can change or we could meet someone new. It’s not a guarantee we even meet in the future, want to rekindle, or work out if we do.
Am I foolish to hold on hope? She is young and I’m her first love. Part of me thinks this may be beneficial, to give her some independence if we do end up working out in the end. If not, at least we can both focus more on our personal well-being.
TLDR:
Girlfriend broke up with me but said she still loves me deep down and wants to meet in 6-9 months to reevaluate. Our relationship had become monotonous and unhealthy in some ways. She, and I, think we can better establish a healthy lifestyle while single. Am I foolish for holding on hope that we can rekindle in the future?

2024.05.20 03:56 dookiehed Tonsillectomy Experience (38m)

Hey, figured I'd share my tonsillectomy experience because this sub was a great resource for me leading up and after my surgery.
I had surgery on May 2, after quite a bizarre experience with my tonsils. I've had tonsil stones for as long as I can remember, but as everyone here can attest to, ENTs and doctors don't really treat stones. Also, at about the base of my left tonsil, the tissue had hardened a bit, and I suspected that I had a tonsil stone wedged deep that I could feel. After seeing about four ENTs and two oral surgeons, they all gave me the same recommendation: get those suckers yanked out.
I still wasn't convinced so I asked about getting some imaging done (I'm in the US with good private insurance, so relatively easy to schedule, but still decent $$$). I got an MRI and it didn't show anything nefarious, but interestingly enough the tech noted a "lesion" on my right tonsil, the one that felt perfectly fine. Given this new information my ENT suggested a tonsillectomy because it was really the only option I had left and every other doctor suggested the same.
I scheduled my surgery and soon enough the day came. I've had surgeries before (2x ACL, 1x meniscus over a 30 year soccer 'career') so I knew what to expect. I didn't anticipate being in the surgery center with 6 year olds as I was the only adult getting the procedure that day!!
Day 1: They wheeled me back and knocked me out, and when I woke up I remember being surprised that the pain I was in was probably a 9/10. My second ACL surgery was like an 11/10 when I woke up (interestingly enough my first ACL surgery was like 3/10) so I was initially surprised how uncomfortable I was.
They fed me ice pops and gave me ice water and tried talking to me, but before I knew it, I was on my way home. In the US, if you go to a private surgery facility, they generally wheel you out within 10 mins of waking up.
The rest of the day was pretty brutal as swallowing was uncomfortable, but my mouth kept filling with saliva so I essentially had to keep drinking water and swallowing, which wasn't great. Eating was completely out of the question, but I had stocked up on some ready to drink protein drinks that kept me relatively satiated. I kept to a pretty strict medicinal schedule which helped me sleep a bit.
Day 2: Still uncomfortable but the pain was significantly less, maybe a 5-6/10. I took about 5ml every 4-5 hours of liquid oxycodone and caught up on Vanderpump Rules. I kept a large cooler by my bed stocked with ice from Sonic, Alo Water, protein drinks, a million water bottles and ice packs. I had a couple of ice pops, but honestly, I just didn't have any appetite for ice cream or ice pops or the like. Ice cold water and the Alo Water were great.
Day 3-4: Pain was about a 4/10 and getting better. I kept to the same schedule for medicine, trash TV shows, and water + ready to drink protein. My wife made me some pastina pasta with butter and although it took me 45 mins to eat a couple of spoonfuls, it did a lot for my mind. I also ate one scrambled egg, but it took me a while. I also had my bowel movement! This is very important after surgery!! Please take some stool softener!!!
However, on Day 4 right before bed around midnight, I "spit" (aka let drool fall out of my mouth) and noticed blood in my saliva. My doctor just said to call if you see any bright blood in your saliva and I noticed it more and more, but not a lot of volume. Of course I freaked out and called at 1am, but my understanding is that a little blood is ok and should resolve itself with ice water and ice gargling. It's really only if your mouth is filling with blood rapidly that you should head to the hospital.
Day 5: I woke up out of a decent sleep at 4am not in pain, but seriously uncomfortable, like my throat and mouth were incredibly sore. The painkillers really helped and I felt like I had taken a step back in the recovery. I could start to talk a little bit more, but nothing more than a couple of whispered sentences at a time.
Day 6: Still sore, but I remember feeling like I turned a corner finally.
Day 7: Back to work! I work hybrid so I was home to recover and didn't have any problems concentrating or typing or anything. I had only been taking the painkillers maybe once a day, usually at night.
I'm a little over 2 weeks now and I feel as though I'm completely back to eating normally and speaking normally, though I can't talk too loud or for too long. After living with tonsil stones for so long, my mouth feels a lot cleaner if that makes sense.
No regrets on the surgery. Looking back, spending time in front of a mirror pushing calcified food particles out of crevices in your mouth is a wild way to spend your time. The recovery was tough I'm not gonna lie, but it is relatively short.
I found myself just like drooling saliva out of my mouth over a sink because I didn't want to swallow anymore. Ice cold water makes swallowing way more tolerable so try to always have ice cold water on hand at all times. I drink water like a psychopath so I was super hydrated, to the point where I was peeing every 45 mins the first two days. I couldn't imagine being dehydrated and trying to recover.
If I could do it over again, I would brew more tea with plenty of honey and let it cool down and then drink it cold. Honey is basically a wonder drug but I didn't utilize it enough in the beginning.
I found and downloaded a text to speech app, which was pretty handy. My kids loved it.
Here are some essentials that other people have mentioned here but I'll list them below. Good luck!!
Pillow Wedge for elevated sleep - I actually still use this as I enjoy sleeping a bit elevated now
Alo Water with Honey - I didn't realize there are clear pieces of aloe vera "pulp" in the drink, which was a super weird experience. I wound up straining the pulp out. Also, try to cut this with water, there's an insane amount of sugar in the huge bottles and you don't want any unnecessary discomfort while you're trying to recover.
Warm and Cool Mist Humidifier - I already owned this and I had it running basically 24/7. I still woke up with a dry mouth which is kind of miserable, but I think it would've been worse if I didn't have this.
Fairlife Core Power Protein Drinks - 26 or 42 grams of protein is amazing when you're recovering. They are a bit expensive, so I picked up a case of the Fairlife Nutrition Plan from my local Costco.
Sonic Pebble Ice - Pebble ice is so much better than regular ice from a freezer or if you're freezing a tray. I don't know why. It's so much easier to chew and it's so much more satisfying to put in your water, especially recovering from a tonsillectomy. If you don't leave near a Sonic, try to find pebble ice somewhere!
Miralax, 7 Once Daily Doses - You NEED a stool softener. The opioids will back you up. The worst part of my ACL recovery was that first bowel movement. I didn't stay on top of my stool softener game. You gotta get that first BM out of the way ideally within like 2-3 days.
RTIC 52 QT Cooler - It's not necessary to have a $200 cooler next to your bed, but if you already have a nice one like a Yeti or RTIC, I'd definitely recommend keeping it near where you are recovering.
Tongue Scraper - I didn't brush my teeth for like 3 days and I felt awful about it. I'd recommend at least a tongue scraper to keep up on the hygiene.
Ice Pack Head Wrap - I thought I would use this more, but it came in handy on days 5-6. I didn't need it, but I'm glad it was around.

2024.05.20 03:56 Legal-Act-8475 Player does not show currently selected media

Hi guys, I’m using CapCut free desktop version on Mac. When I select media from the timeline it does not show in the preview/player panel so that I can edit it. The panel just shows the first frame of the project (or if I drag the slider, it shows whatever frame the slider is currently sitting on). Not sure what I have missed but does anyone know how to fix this?

Open Access Scientific Literature

There are multiple movements and sources for open access to scientific literature.
This thread is a resource for open access. Please list links to open access scientific literature. This dynamic is certainly changing, but there is clearly literature that is still pay wall restricted.

How much does knowledge cost? While that sounds like an abstract question, the answer is surprisingly specific: $3,096,988,440.00. That’s how much the business of publishing scientific and academic research is worth.
This is the story of one woman’s battle against a global network of academic journals that underlie published scientific research. In 2011, Alexandra Elbakyan had just moved home to Kazakhstan after a disappointing few years trying to study neuroscience in the United States when she landed on an internet forum where a bunch of scientists were all looking for the same thing: access to academic journal articles that were behind paywalls. That’s the moment the very simple, but enormously powerful, website called Sci Hub was born.
The site holds over 88 million articles and serves up about a million downloads to people in practically every country on the globe. We travel to Kazakhstan to meet the mysterious woman behind it all and to find out what it takes to make everything we know about anything available to anyone anywhere, for free.

2024.05.20 03:50 Ok_Forever6231 How do I stop my leaks

I am a losing player. I am new to poker (3 months). I have been studying for 3 hours daily. I mostly watch Jonathan little’s free posts on YouTube and I have downloaded his poker coaching app to study preflop cash games 6max charts. I also use post flop+ to practice post flop. I also try to use Jonathan little’s post flop flow chart to decide when to buff\value bet, check/call, and check/fold. I play online in the micro stakes of .05/.10 on ignition Casino. So far I am losing about 100bb per 100 hands. I find that most of my bluffs do get through but the big ones often end up costing me. I also have been losing money in situations where I believe I have a marginal hand and up against a polarized range, but I either make the call when I shouldn’t or fold when they bluff. I understand that confirmation bias is playing a role and that often my bluff is a good one or my bluff catcher is a decent play, but I am still losing my bankroll. I know that at this point variance can’t be the only culprit. I have experienced some bad run outs, but I have also gotten very lucky. How would you go about finding your biggest misplays?
