Spent about 20 minutes chasing a grade 5 gold holders sloop with an entire gilded voyage, eventually got the board, anchored and sunk them. As soon as the ship turned upside down in the water I blackscreened back to my ship. The server instantly merged and on the new server none of the loot floated up. My guess is that since it was still on the ship it just wasn't merged because the ship was sunk. Absolutely livid. I thought issues like this were addressed ages ago -- just as I was getting back into the game this reminded me of the rage inducing bugs made me quit.

We were at a pickleball court and I (37F) was with another group. I’m still a newbie to the game so I don’t know the rules that well. My partner was a dude and he was helping me familiarize with the rules to pickleball.
I told my husband (43M) that my partner was super helpful and that I learned a few things. And he goes, “of course he knows the rules, he’s a guy. Women usually don’t read up on the rules to games.”
I was offended by that comment! Even though I myself didn’t read up on the rules, and my girlfriend didn’t either, but my male (gay) friend did, I still felt that was a sexist thing to say.

I am going to link here to my current build.
I made this build in mid-2018 and it was my first ever build. I researched a lot at the time but ever since have been reluctant to make any changes or upgrades to my system but I am currently thinking of downsizing to the Fractal Terra case and want an overall more minimal stealth build.
I know I will need to switch out some major parts like getting a Mini ITX board etc. but just looking for any advice from some more experience folks about how to transfer to a new build in general and make the most of what I already have. I'm not expert and my inclination is to just start from scratch because I get overwhelmed.
Not sure how to switch over the CPU for example etc. I would want more of a stealth build over all and happy to sell some of my RBG parts etc. but any advice would be helpful.
Also in terms of usage, I mainly need it to run Adobe Suite well, I have used it for gaming and I ran Starfield and Diablo IV with no issues last year but it's not my number 1 priority as I am primarily a PlayStation user. My most demanding day-to-day usage is typically Photoshop.

Platform(s): Phone, I had an android when I downloaded this if that helped
Genre: Casual. It was about perfume making.
Estimated year of release: I played this around the early 10's so maybe around then or late 00's.
Graphics/art style: During the story bit it was an anime art style but when moving around it was pixelated.
Notable characters: Take this with a hint of salt because this is what I got from chatgpt when I interogated it about this game. There's Grace (?) who is blond and got in a car accident when she was little and lost her sense of smell, right after she was done talking to her Grandpa. When she grew up, she met this fairy called Esperanza (?) who helped her make perfume potions without needing the sense of smell.
Notable gameplay mechanics: I only played in the early part of the game. I distinctly remember when she met the fairy there was this thing you had to do where there was three symbols in different colors over a darkened background and circles shrinking around it and you had to click it at the right time. Another thing was there was a part where grace went to sell the perfumes and she had this little wagon full of them in flasks and they were in different colors like blue or green potions. In that part, there were customers coming up to her and you had to give them the correct potions. It had a top down view. Right after that part you could go to the market place where there's this market square with npcs and bulletin boards where you could look at notes. This was also a top down view and also a pixelated part.
Other details: I think I downloaded this game maybe two years ago through a website on my phone. The gameplay looked really old and had the blond girl as the thumbnail for the app. I found that game through a lot of effort but I switched phones and I can't find it anymore. I think it might have been called perfume story but I have no idea. If you guys have a link where I can download it again that'll be great as well.

I now realized... Children don't have agency to know all their needs. they depend on adults to interpret emotions and needs for them. there are children, may be even in the same family, who know, vocalize, their needs/emotions sooner earlier than other children. Knowing that kind of children exist, does not let my parents and my relatives off the hook. I have seen this happen so often in my family, now that i look back. infact, i was responsible for my decisions and got treated like adult for consequences of my decisions. One time, there was cement work in our patio floor. My mom told us that we could get our favorite board game etched onto the freshly curing cement ground. she told us that my mom's family too had gotten such games etched into cement back in their childhood home. Now, don't get into details of game. As kids, our decision was to tell the cement-worker where in our patio we wanted the game etched. we told him a spot. he etched. nobody used their adult brain, not the cement worker, not my parents to supervise etc. After the etching is done, my mom walks in and explodes on us the kids. There was disapproval, dissatisfaction, disgust etc etc as if we wanted to screw up the game wantedly. You see, we have chosen a spot for the game by a tree. there was no place for the 4th player to sit, as the tree was at the 4th players place. she could ask the cement-worker to put a new game somewhere more accessible for all players. it's just a game, out on the patio and does not effect beauty, structural integrity or finances or future of the house or our lives. Why the criticism without calmly speaking to us about what we could do differently? We were kids dammit. This kind of events are numerous.

I have always been anxious it seems, now that she learnt to place words to my behaviors, she's been naming & introducing me to world of emotions. I have recently lost a player to scheduling conflicts and am looking for a new one. We are testing my own game system that I'm building. This is a classical RPG style campaign with quest boards, loot, and a variety of different encounter types. In a few words, it's somewhere between Pathfinder 1e and D&D 5e with a different class system and some RPG attributes mixed in. Many familiar things will be present, but some will be implemented a little differently. The world itself is open, but there is a boss you must beat every few areas in order to make sure you're ready to progress to the next section of the world. We aren't very far in, so catching you up to speed should be relatively easy.

Hey all, I was wondering if you can tell me what already exists out there that fulfills these: Horror (leaning towards survival horror), card game, solo/co-op, there is no board, there are no dice.

2024.05.20 07:01 Ok-Contest-9355 My 8yo all around player - no allstar selection . I don't see how .
My kid 8yo plays 10u , Pitches well, solid glove, hits well , scored and hit in every single game . Struck out twice all season . Good attitude good teammate but . No all star selection . He turns single into doubles/ triples , steals bases even on good pitches and plays any position and well . Check out just few of his hits this season, tell me how he doesn't make allstar or am I being the a parent thinking my kid is better than he is? I don't know what to tell my kid when he stands out every game and now kids ask him why you didn't make the team ... again he's 8 in 10u, And only 1 other kid looked better than him all season . Multiple parents from other teams came up to him after games and told him how smooth he looks for a little kid . But no allstars . I'm leaning toward not bringing it up to the coach and the board , and just waiting to see what happens next year . But I just don't see how . And yes coaches kids are on the allstar teams . Am trying to find a gb/gbc japanese game i used to play on an emulator, it was a cross between a board game & fishing game, and depending on your lure you play a different mini game to lure in a fish, i remember using a ninja lure because that was the easiest lure i know how to use.
