Fuck dph

2024.05.18 09:44 iliketosmokeweed420 Fuck dph

So it's been 24 hours since I took dph, I've took a low dose yesterday, 150mg of dph only because I took the rest the night prior and took the 6 more I forgot about the morning after, my friend bought me a bottle of 100 tablets but I told him I was just using it for allergies and he has no idea I take it to get high or else he would've obviously not get it which is reasonable, these past few days has been hard since my dad is really sick and just got admitted to the hospital yesterday morning which is why I took the 6 tablets I had left which wasn't enough, the same morning I wanted to get more but had no money and the local store I get my dph, all the medicine they have are locked behind a glass cabinet so you gotta ask the cashier to get it for you, so i couldnt iust steal it, so i had no cash plus no way to get dph, it sucked but maybe it was for a good reason, my plan was to buy 2 boxes of Benadryl which would leave me with 48 Benny's and my plan was to take all of them at once which would be the most Benadryl ive taken at once, it wouldnt be enough to kill me but it would be enough for a trip to the ER which i wanted cause i was in a dark place at that time and i wasn't thinking, sad right? Well the last thing I want is for my mom to walk in and see her daughter overdose on fkn Benadryl which I sadly wanted but my mom has been through enough shit so obviously seeing me in the hospital all because I overdosed on Benadryl is just gonna add to her stress, so I'm seeing my dad tomorrow with my mom in the morning and the last thing I want is my dad to see me strung out on dph, so I'll be off dph for a bit, I need to get all my shit together before I actually do something I'll regret, just gonna stick to weed for now and we'll see how that goes!! And needless to say I actually don't miss that feeling of the chest pain and pressure on my liver when I take dph and the headaches are awful, I have no idea how people take 50+ Benny's without fkn throwing up, I was supposed to take 30+ Benny's tonight but changed my mind well just wanted to share my story hopefully I'll stay off that shit for good but I doubt that we'll see how long I'll stay sober for til I run back to dph stay safe y'all!!:)

2024.05.17 19:24 harlottoscara Rituximab side effects - is this normal?

Hi all,
I just had my first rituximab (riximyo) infusion on Wednesday and I'm having some weird symptoms, just curious to know if anyone else knows what's normal/expected at this point.
The infusion itself went okay, it took about 5 hours. I did have some mild eathroat itching and palpitations about 2 hours in, but they paused the drip and just ran normal saline for a bit, then I was fine. For pre meds I wad given benadryl (tablet) and solumedrol (IV). I'm not sure of the doses. I was super exhausted the rest of the day which I think was from the pre meds.
Yesterday I didn't have much of an appetite but actually had some energy during the day which was nice, though I started to feel a bit weird in the evening: racing heart, anxiety, and had a hard time sleeping. I thought maybe it was from the solumedrol so I was hoping I'd feel better today. I feel about the same anxiety wise and my heart is still racing a lot. I just feel an overall "heaviness" in my body along with some weakness. I tried to fold some laundry and felt totally gassed after. I checked my BP and it's 143/103 with a 127 HR. I've been resting since then and my HR is 110 now. I haven't eaten much still today so wondering if that could be the reason?
I tried to call my rheum to ask but his office is closed for the weekend. It doesnt feel like an emergency at this point but i am a little concerned since the solumedrol should be well out of my system by now...are these red flag symptoms that would warrant an ED visit? The only other time i get tachy like this is during bad flares. I don't have a fever or rash or anything.
Has anyone experienced similar side effects after rituximab? Thanks in advance!

2024.05.16 20:12 LARK81 Delayed allergic reaction to Gabapentin & Trazadone?

deleted my original post because I couldn't edit my title...
Link to images below
https://imgur.com/a/hives-3vmKfSu
Species: Dog
Age: 3
Sex/Neuter status: M/neutered
Breed: Coonhound
Body weight: 70
History: We got him a little less than a year ago. Vet has prescribed Trazadone/Gabapentin for reactivity in stressful situations. We have successfully used these meds 2x in the past 6 months without issue. I am also pretty sure he was receiving these meds while in the shelter. Or at least, trazadone.
Clinical signs: Hives - was given a dose of 1 Gabapentin 600mg and 3 Trazadone 100mg yesterday 6:30am. Was fine all day - normal response to meds - sleepy and drowsy. Was maybe a little itchy at bedtime (10pm), woke up this morning at about 6am with hives all over his body. No other symptoms except occasional itchiness. Mood and energy and appetite was normal otherwise. Went down a little over the course of 2.5hrs, but most were still noticeable. Gave Benadryl (2.5 25mg tablets) and Hives reduced a bit within the hour. I had to leave for work at that point. Husband said he was sleeping but still looked a bit bumpy when he left around 11am
Duration: not sure - perhaps at some point over night to present time
Your general location: MA
Links to test results, vet reports, X-rays etc.
Wondering if this is a typical reaction to these meds - especially after multiple uses without issue, or if we could be looking at an allergy or reaction to something else. I understand that both these meds CAN cause hives - but wouldn't the most likely so so within a few hours of ingestion?
Does it warrant a vet appointment if he has responded to benadryl? Thanks for the help.

2024.05.16 07:17 ThatPhoneGuy912 Apache case turned emergency kit

Apache case turned emergency kit
Couldn’t pass up a good deal on a case, so I picked up an Apache 4800. I decided to use it as an emergency kit.
Included in my kit is:
Matches, flint, and bic lighters for fire
A small tarp, cordage, emergency blankets, ponchos, and a (foil) emergency shelter for shelter
Candles, glow sticks and hand crank flashlights for light
A few water bottles, a life straw, and water purification tablets for water
Lifeboat rations, peanut butter pouches, grits, and some freeze dried meals for food
Also included is a generic first aid kit, tylenol and benadryl, nail clippers, multitool, masks, and gloves.
I have space for more items without having to remove the top and bottom foam inserts and will probably add a few more things as I come across them.
Flooded/washed out roads, storms/tornadoes, and hurricanes all a yearly thing where I live so its nice to have a larger kit ready to go in addition to what supplies I keep in my vehicle at all times.
Feel feee to throw out any suggestions on additions to the kit

2024.05.13 23:53 Squigglii Sharing everything I’ve learned over the past 7 years in case it could help someone else .

I’m on year 7 of my IC journey that started at 15 years old. I’ve had pretty much everything under the sun with multiple specialists, so I thought I would share for people in the same positions I was in during the beggining.
Regular gyno or urologists are oftentimes clueless about IC. Please see a urogyno asap.
Hydroxozine and Benadryl can help with the bladder sensitivity and burning a bit as well as help you sleep.
If you’re looking for something non drowsy Zyrtec may work for you and one of my friends has really good luck with Xyzal (both are otc).
There are some studies about the long term effects of too much Benadryl so I’d be cautious about that.
Some supplements that many people with IC take consistently are D-mannose, aloe tablets, magnesium (for the muscles and sleep), and marshmallow root. I’ve noticed improvement from D-mannose and aloe for the burning but not as much marshmallow root.
The aloe tablets are also great for those with vaginal dryness from their inflammation.
Desert harvest also has an AMAZING cream called relevium you can order over the counter with 4% lidocaine in it as well as aloe and vitamin e that helps repair skin and reduce inflammation. It’s so good for the burning. Do not use it inside (but a little won’t hurt if it gets in there). It’s mainly for urethra irritation and burning.
IC is not simply a bladder disorder originating from inside your bladder. It HEAVILY affects your muscles. Feel inside your vagina and if it’s very tight, banding, or causing painful intercourse you likely have hypertonic pelvic floor issues either causing or exacerbating your IC. There are many stretches you can do to help this as well as pelvic floor therapy. It’s a godsend for many, but don’t get discouraged if it gets a little worse before it gets better with that. It’s part of the process with the lactic acid build up in your muscles.
There are two common kinds of PFT one of which you should be very wary of. The first time I went through this process I saw a team who focused on electrostimulation therapy. This is where a probe is inserted vaginallty and anally and contracts the muscles more and more with each visit. That method also focuses on kegals. Not only does it make most people much worse while they’re in treatment, it’s proven to not be very effective at all and make some people worse. The goal of this method is to essentially wear out your muscles to the point they finally give up and relax. It’s effective for very few people and I would suggest only doing it as a last resort.
I would recommend pelvic floor therapy involving muscle relaxers, stretches, and vaginal massage before that. The way that works is that they essentially cut off blood flow to those tense muscles through massage, hoping that the fresh oxygenated blood flowing in helps the muscles to heal and relax. Once again this may feel worse before it feels better due to the lactic acid buildup.
Do not give up on Pelvic Floor Therapy until you’ve given it 6-12 weeks.
If those muscles are stubborn there are options for pelvic floor Botox injections as well as bladder injections. These can also be done under anasthesia during other procedures like cystoscopy and hydro hydrodistention. I honestly recommend doing that because it is very painful without it and may stress the fuck out of your muscles if you’re awake.
hydrodistention is when they fill your bladder to max capacity. This is done routinely to stretch your bladder and to measure bladder capacity.
There is also the bacterial side of things. Some people with IC have overgrowths of bacteria in their urine. There is a 24 hour urine test you can do to look at how your urine is comprised and how much you’re peeing. There is also a culture where they culture all the bacteria’s in your bladder in one inviroment as they would grow inside you. This is to replicate the environment of your bladder to see if you have any antibiotic resistances, overgrowths, or other things.
Ureaplasma and mycoplasma are another theory that’s kinda controversial and expensive to test for. But some consider it an std. it’s a type of bacteria that can overgrow in your bladder, but also it’s kinda a part of the natural microbiome so I don’t know how much credit I give that.
You may notice that you have other conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, adenomyosis, and or IBS. These conditions are also inflaming your pelvis and can make your bladder more angry if not under check. However, I DONT suggest going crazy trying to cure other pelvic conditions in order to fix your bladder. That’s what I did and it didn’t work as I’d have hoped. I’d try to find multiple doctors or people recommended by ur urogynocologist to help you manage everything together if that sounds like you.
Hope this helps!

2024.05.10 00:38 Past-Motor-4654 8 full days in Paris - reflections on what I packed

I became obsessed with this sub a couple months before my trip and while I realized I wasn’t ready for the all-in-one bag, I learned a ton about packing light from you all and wanted to share my personal reflections in case it’s helpful to anyone on the fence.
First, I’m a size 16-18 and tall - my clothing takes up a lot of room. For this trip I was going to just one destination, and at most would be taking the train and then walking 15 min to the Airbnb on sidewalks. I decided to take my Samsonite carryon hard sided spinner and a small backpack that I had asked folks about in another post. I found that it worked out great for Paris because it looked nice and was also anti-theft and waterproof.
Shirts - 8, only wore 6
Button downs: 1 chambray, 1 Burgundy wrinkle free (did not wear)
3/4 length sleeves: 1 black, 1 navy/white striped
short sleeves (5): White nubby, lavender ribbed, navy, dusty rose (did not wear), cream wool& that my sister ended up needing
Pants - 2 jeans - 1 black lightweight pants - 1 navy flowy
1 dress 1 PJ pants 1 tank 6 undies, 6 socks
1 pair adidas terrex 1 pair Abeo walking shoes/sneakers 2 pairs flats - did not wear
Paris in shoulder season is challenging - it was a lot colder than the weather report suggested it would be and rained half the days. I was grateful for the trench even though I only wore it once and grateful for all the warm sweaters. On the one day it got to be 70, I was happy to have the dress.
The Airbnb had a washer but no dryer and it was too damp for things to dry overnight and there wasn’t much space for the rack to sit for more than a day. I only ended up washing undies and socks.
I thought I would regret the two pairs of jeans but I ended up needing both of them due to dirty dog poop streets and the cold.
I wanted to look cute in flats but I have wonky feet and I attempted it one time but with all the walking it just wasn’t worth it. But I’m glad I had the terrex and the walking shoes because they alternated between soft comfort and stability.
I have some things to say about the AirFrance carryon baggage weighing experience but jet lag is kicking in…. Zzzz
Edit to add: backpack was the Cheruty on amazon - link in a comment below. I used Vasco compression packing cubes because packing cubes are only good if they also compress (though that’s how it’s easy to go over 16 kilos, an AirFrance carryon faux pas).
I was a little overkill on bibs and bobs for an 8 day trip - didn’t need 8 days worth of pepto tablets or two small pill tubes of advil, Tylenol, Benadryl and melatonin . I didn’t use the sheet of moleskin or the blush brushes I brought because I forgot the actual blush… and could have skipped the small pair of scissors for the moleskin. I did like having nail clippers and file, some advil, some pepto, some melatonin. I’m glad I had my travel pillow for the way there because I was on the end in the middle row and I don’t understand how to use a standard airplane pillow without being in the window seat. I also had several silk scarves that took almost no space and added flair to my otherwise simple outfits.
Although we ditched CityPharma because it was way too crowded and lines were too long, I do wish I had made both time and room for a bunch of 100ml or less fancy French skincare products and more chocolate (even though I managed to bring home a LOT of chocolate) and cheese because it is so much better and cheaper in France :).
Oh and last thing: the bloggers and influencers are right that people look very well put together, wonder if it’s because striped shirts and mariner sweaters are a thing, and while relatively cute, and certainly no one was looking or cared, my lavender adidas terrex and abeo walking shoes were unique in a sea of sambas, Vejas and loafers. The Parisians take tailoring seriously - My adorable father really did look different from all the other men because his jeans were long and baggy and he rolled them up to avoid the aforementioned dog poop. Maybe it’s elitism or snobbery but it’s very obvious that Parisians take a lot of pride in their appearance and it was fun to act the part for a week from the ankles up, anyway :).

2024.05.08 19:38 Salt-Ad-2880 6 week old lab puppy swollen eye lid

I called the vet and they recommended I give my pup half of a 25mg tablet of benedryl so I did about ten minutes ago and now I wait but his left eyelid is swelling and I noticed after his nap. He woke up this morning and I thought the pink around his eyes was extra big today and now the left side is completely swollen and behind his nose has a little bump and his nose is runny. He hasn’t gotten into anything but he basically lives with his nose in the ground outside so far. . They asked if he has swelling in the muzzle and if so to bring him and I said no then I saw the hump behind his nose. Is it okay as long he’s ok? Should I just take him to the vet now and not wait on the Benadryl to kick in?

2024.05.08 18:29 McgovernAllergy Over-the-Counter Allergy Medications: How to Choose the Right One for You

Are seasonal allergies making your life miserable? Itchy eyes, sneezing fits, and runny nose can damage your day. Fortunately, many over-the-counter (OTC) allergy medications can help you find relief. However, with so many options on the market, how do you choose the right one? Let’s explore some tips to help you make an informed decision.

Identify Your Symptoms

Before selecting an allergy medication, it’s essential to identify your specific symptoms. Do you primarily experience nasal congestion, itchy eyes, or a combination of symptoms? Knowing your symptoms will help you choose a medication that targets your specific needs.

Understand the Types of Allergy Medications

Several over-the-counter allergy medications are available, including antihistamines, decongestants, nasal sprays, and eye drops. Antihistamines are commonly used to relieve sneezing, itching, and a runny nose, while decongestants help reduce nasal congestion. Nasal sprays and eye drops can provide targeted relief for nasal congestion and itchy, watery eyes.

Consider Your Lifestyle

When choosing an allergy medication, consider your lifestyle and daily activities. In general, non-drowsy newer generation antihistamines like loratadine (Claritin), fexofenadine (Allegra), levocetirizine (Xyzal) or cetirizine (Zyrtec) may be a better option as they last longer and have fewer side effects. Try to avoid older generation antihistamines, such as diphenhydramine (Benadryl), due to increased side effects.

Read Labels Carefully

Pay close attention to the active ingredients and dosage instructions on allergy
medication labels. Some medications may contain multiple ingredients, such as an
antihistamine and a decongestant. Ensure you’re not taking duplicate medicines that
could lead to overmedication or potential side effects. Common decongestants sold OTC include oxymetazoline (Afrin) and pseudoephedrine. Try to avoid long term use of these decongestants and review these medications with your doctor.

Consult Your Healthcare Provider

If you have underlying health conditions or are taking other medications, consult your healthcare provider before starting any new allergy medication. They can help ensure the medication is safe and compatible with your health regimen.

Consider Allergy Medication Formulations

Allergy medications come in various formulations, including tablets, capsules, liquids, and dissolvable tablets. Choose a formulation that is convenient and easy for you to take based on your preferences and needs.

Trial and Error

Finding the proper allergy medication may require some trial and error. Don’t hesitate to try another option if one medication doesn’t provide adequate relief or causes unwanted side effects. Everyone’s body reacts differently to drugs, so finding the right fit may take some experimentation.
Another factor to consider when choosing an allergy medication is the duration of action. Some medications provide relief for up to 24 hours, allowing you to go about your day without constantly worrying about symptoms returning. Others may require more frequent dosing, which can be inconvenient for those with busy schedules.
It’s also important to be aware of potential side effects associated with allergy medications. While most over-the-counter options are generally safe when used as directed, typical side effects may include drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, or mild stomach upset. If you experience any severe or persistent side effects, discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider.
Remember that allergy medications may interact with other medicines or supplements you’re taking. Always check with your pharmacist or allergist to ensure no potential drug interactions could affect your health.
Consider the cost of allergy medications, especially if you anticipate needing them regularly throughout the season. Generic options are often more affordable than brand-name medications and can provide the same effectiveness.
By considering these factors and proactively managing your allergies, you can find the best allergy medication to suit your needs and help you enjoy life without the burden of constant allergy symptoms.

2024.05.07 17:04 _saaga_ OAS and reflux type of symptoms

I've had OAS for years with a few strong reactions and lots of mild ones. Sometimes I've developed acid refulx type of symptoms although without the heartburn.
Today I ate marinated chicken and started to feel the symptoms coming. I've always thought that it's acid reflux but today I started to suspect that maybe it's an allergic reaction. First I started to get uncomfortable feeling on my esophagus, then my ears started itching a bit and I had to keep spitting cos of saliva forming in my mouth non stop. Lastly I got a lot of pain between my shoulder blades like there was lots of air but I just couldn't burp. Also my throat feels a but tight like I have a lump. I took benadryl and some stomach tablets and after over half an hour I've started to feel a bit better. Anyone else had symptoms like these?

Ok so, if you got past all that, thank you and sorry lol.
the past few months have been kind of rough. I have had three instances of having a migraine lasting more than 6 days.
about 2 months ago I experienced my first migraine and it lasted a little over 2 weeks before going away on its own. the next migraine occurred exactly two weeks ago starting on Wednesday I had to call in on Friday and Saturday night my husband took me to the emergency room. I was given a migraine cocktail of Benadryl, Toradol, and Compazine. in this particular instance I had been off of my SSRI and my levothyroxine for a few days and so the nurse practitioner that I saw had assumed that my migraine was caused by this. This was due to not having refills left. it most certainly did not help, that I can definitely say. the nurse practitioner treating me said she did not think any sort of imaging was necessary because she would bet a lot of money that it was due to my withdrawal of medications without the approval of a medical professional.
my most recent migraine started last Saturday night and did not end until this morning ( Friday). the past few days I have been messaging my PCP office and unfortunately my doctor is away for the week. I went in to see the nurse practitioner over telehealth and explain to her what was going on. she told me to take a "at home migraine cocktail" consisting of 600 mg ibuprofen or naproxen, 400 mg magnesium oxide, and 25 mg benadryl. I followed these instructions and it did not help unfortunately. I messaged the office and said that it did not help and I was still in pain. she told me that if I want she can refer me to neurology but for right now if I am struggling to wait out the migraine that I may go to the ER again. I really did not want to go to the ER and waste the time of the doctors and other professionals that were treating people in much more dire situations. Fortunately it went away on it own this morning.
I am concerned because the symptoms I am experiencing seem like a lot more than a migraine attack. I wrote down a list of the symptoms I have been dealing with and they all seem quite disconnected and I am just confused and would like to not have a repeat.
symptoms: stabbing pain on face neck pain (as if pulled muscle, only occurs during active headache) vertigo visual snow sensitive to light and sound ears popping (as if pressure changing) tinnitus Loud explosion in ear that doesn't originate in the real world vision blurring/seeing white glow Trouble focusing eyes Loss of color vision sudden severe snoring altered depth perception excessive sleepiness stumbling on feet clumsiness is worse thinking is difficult slower reaction times Muscles burn when doing slight movements
these all occur as some point during my migraine attacks, the most annoying being the ones involving my vision as well as the pain, and the inability to think clearly.
after talking to several medical professionals I feel like I'm going crazy because to me these symptoms seem quite worrisome but it seems I'm the only one that feels that way. I really do not want to be a hypochondriac and if I am then I will calm down. but I would love if somebody with a fresh set of eyes would look over this and tell me what first pops up in their mind.
thank you!

2024.05.03 01:14 2024sbestthrowaway Non-game-dev (data analyst) asked to make a game in 4-6 weeks

UPDATE: I can't thank you all enough for your input. Your responses were helpful, comical (roasting mgr), and most importantly emphasizing the true scope and scale of the request as being largely unrealistic. I checked out the recommended tools, and some of you gave me avenues for quick shortcuts and workarounds, but overall I was convinced that this is not worth trying to any appreciable degree. My fear is getting too deep into a project only to fail to deliver, and I was armed with enough general consensus to make an informed statement to stakeholders that the project, as outlined, was not feasible without outside resources in this timeframe. With that, I showed them RenPy and said I could deliver on a visual novel, nothing more, and that it could be both informative and interactive, but less of a game than originally proposed/insisted upon and they have since agreed!
I would like to respond individually to most of you this weekend when I'm not working.
Hello,
TL;DR: I'm a data analyst / software engineer with no game dev experience being asked to make a 3D game with a very brief questline. It's basically move from A to B to C to D using a touch screen to gather treasures, as an engaging storyline / infomercial. In your opinion, is this doable in 4-6 weeks as a complete newb, and if so, what tools should I look into using? This does not need to be "published" outside of running locally.

Non-technical marketing manager wants me to make a "game" for our trade show in a couple months. We will be having a tasting bar so the idea is there will be windows tablets where customers can engage with the game to gain information about our products and gauge what flavors they may like to try.
I understand games typically take a talented individual, or team of individuals, a chunk of time to make. I've let them know I've never made a game but I'll try, with the caveat that I'm not sure I'll be able to deliver.
They want a mythical world / citadel, with a basic questline to collect treasures with various dialogue boxes appearing, and then a prompt at the end gathering potential client information.
So, is there a toolset for a moderately tech savvy, non game dev that will allow me to pull through on a deadline like this? What tools would you use if you had this steep request and no experience? I looked at this thing called Core and made a landscape with some drivable cars, but now I'm looking into Unity.
Is this doable? Any recommendations appreciated.

12th century bliaut
So I just finished my bliaut for the new Ren Faire season here in Germany and wanted to show it off. It's the first fitted garment I made and I'm mostly happy with the result, it's just a little wide in the shoulders.
The sleeves were supposed to be flared, but I'm a klutz and was afraid of ruining them at Faire, so I just lenghtened the pattern a little and went with fitted sleeves instead. The fabric is wool with a diamond pattern (the white parts were actually leftovers from my wedding dress), bought from a local wool merchant. The underdress is a simple cotton muslin.
I sewed the eyelets (32 total) by hand and added a metal ring to reinforce them.
I've still got to add embroidery to the collar and maybe sleeves, and I'm thinking of adding a red gugel to the outfit. I also need to get a belt (tablet-weaving, maybe?) and a head covering. I'd love some suggestions for that, because I'm a bit lost there. So, what kind of headdress would go with this?

2024.04.29 13:58 Downtown-Average-526 Hives "out of nowhere"

My daughter, 4F, started experiencing hives three nights ago and is still experiencing them now. I am curious whether anyone has any thoughts about her treatment plan, or a potential trigger for the hives? Details below.
Two hours after we arrived at our destination from a road trip, she complained about being bitten by a mosquito. Though we didn't see her get bitten, there were two bumps on her belly, and she subsequently started scratching behind her ears. I gave her 5ml Benadryl and we went to bed. A few hours later she was itching her groin area furiously. There were big raised patches (wheals I believe is the word) wherever she itched. I gave her 2.5 more mls of Benadryl and slathered her in calamine lotion. It was a rough sleepless night as she was itchy all over, scalp to toe.
The next day we went to the hospital ER. They said they could not determine the cause and it could be related to a cold we all had. They gave her prednisone and Pepcid, and gave us prescriptions for both. The medicine schedule they gave us was:
  1. Benadryl, 7.5 ml every 6 hours as needed.
  2. Fomatidine, 1/2 tablet every 12 hours as needed.
  3. Prednisone, 20ml 1x per day for 4 days.
In terms of managing the itchiness externally, we gave her a cool oatmeal bath and slathered her in Aveeno eczema cream. Additional ointments we use are fluticasone propionate and Benadryl anti-itch cream. We realized a bit too late that wherever pressure is applied, she starts to itch furiously. So we put her in loose clothing with no undergarments and we tried to avoid rubbing too much lotion/ointment onto her skin. We also have been using cool compresses.
The hospital advised us to go see all her relevant doctors. We are back in our hometown and will try to get a pediatrician visit asap. She has a dermatologist visit lined up for tomorrow and I will also inform her allergist about what happened this weekend.
Some potentially relevant conditions my daughter has:
-iron deficiency anemia for which she takes iron supplements
-severe egg allergy for which she has an epi-pen (we initially thought she accidentally ingested something with egg, so we called 911 but she was not having any respiratory distress whatsoever)
-chronic congestion for which she takes Flonase and Zyrtec as needed
-eczema flares more common as an infant and toddler
